I’m thinking of using two of my seven remaining trades to turn Preuss into Steele.
Would allow me to use Daicos as M9
Steele is in for me next week for Wehr as my final upgrade. Though I’m confused now what to do with Preuss. I can go Jackson but with Gawn coming back i’m concerned how bad it will drop him. Part thinks surely he gets more minutes which helps his core then the other side is me thinking nah back to 60.
I thought I worked it out and was moving English up and moving Bont down from mids, moving Short down from D’s and getting Whitfield though now I looked and I can’t swing English up as game started so I’m cooked for next week which will cost another trade unless Wehr goes huge.
I say do it Lek, we’ve both been on this Preuss rollercoaster too long. Using my last boost to bring in either Heeney or Jackson (another rollercoaster) for him
I’ve had to use 2 trades to save another donut this week… carried Butters, English and Preuss over last week… now screwed. I think all 3 will be gone by next week if they don’t front up. Have bought in Witts. Though I may reverse that and bring in Nank.

Traded Khamis to D’Ambrossio to make some cash. Now I am looking to trade Butters and there is two ways I can do it.
1) Move him from to the midfield (via Heeney DPP) and bring in one of Steele, Hewett, Keys or Walsh
2) Move him from midfield to the defence (via Houston DPP) and bring in one of Lloyd, Whitfield, Hewett, Saad or Dawson.
I have not left myself much cash to play with and I still need to upgrade Solgio and Wehr as well as Rosas (trades permitting in the coming weeks.
Appreciate any thoughts or advice on which is the best way to go.

FINALLY figured out a plan and realized I can’t do it cause I need to move English up to trade pruess and game locked lol.
Dunno how I make it happen now. Steele was my last upgrade with him in for Wehr next week. So unless Pruess gets a game next week I need to get him gone.
Was gonna move English up, Bont down. Bring in Steele. Wehr for Whitfield though the price rise Whitfield has this week (expected) will be the 20kish i’ll be short now LOL unless Wehr goes huge.

B: Crisp, Short, Ridley, Sicily, Houston, Wehr, Massimo, Skinner.
M: MacRae, Neale, Oliver, Cripps, Butters, Petracca, Sinclair, Soligio, Hamilton, Owens, Long
Ruck: Witts, English, Young
Forwards: Heeney, Parker, Dunkley, Hawkins, Brodie, Coniglio, Rosas, Callow.
I am leaning towards trading Butters to Steele and keeping Soligio, Wehr and Rosas on the bench for a further week and re-assess next week. The only other option would be to trade Butters to Whitfield and Soligio to Duncan which I would have just enough money for but would require me to use one of my boost trades (only two left). However, I think it would be more important to have Steele in terms of scoring potential and hope that Soligio, Wehr and Rosas can increase in value a little bit more this round.
Jackson could be late out
I am canvassing SC for more trades…who’s with me? Another two ‘soldiers’ down with Hammy’s and my trades situation is diabolical, got Rich in for Daniel, 45 minutes later ‘ping’ another trade burnt. All I can assume is that I must have been really, really bad in a previous life…

What a crappy week! Using Young as cover for English – no probs there BUT….gotta trade out Stewart – and get either Ambrosio or Bazzo in so will downgrade either Carroll or G. Clarke – so some reshuffling required – it’s just that I can’t decide which premo to replace Stewart with!!! My choices are: Laird, Dawson or Walsh. All guns…..Thinking just go weith the absolute best so Laird but then again, my backline WAS complete until Tommy got suspended so Dawson looking good to keep it complete. Daicos can go either MID or DEF either way and Dawson great last 5 gsame avge too. Walsh? Higher average than Dawson with recent form last week……decisions!

JR SURVIVIOR – CHAMPIONS
This week sees the start of the JR Survivor Champion of Champions Division.
This is the BIG ONE.
Each week there will be 3 ELIMINATIONS.
Same rules as before, the 3 lowest scores of the round will be eliminated unless you are holding immunity from the previous week. If a team uses their immunity, the 4th lowest score will then be eliminated.
In case of a tie, the team with the WORST overall rank will be eliminated.
FyfeIsLyf has IMMUNITY this week based on an outstanding score of 2630 last week (this is what teams who are ranked 49th overall do!)

He’s turned into hall. Despite hanging onto English all year, my finest trade may have been English into liber last week which also saved me fielding Clarke last week!
MID-SEASON DRAFT
A quick reminder to the newbies to Draft regarding bench players.
1) The players on the bench will have their score automatically subbed onto the field if one of the starting players don’t play. The bench player does NOT have to be the same position.
2) Only the lowest scoring player on the bench is used. Last week FBI had Andrews sitting on the bench with a lazy 117, unfortunately for FBI Fiorini scored 16 and was the automatic sub.
3) Only ONE sub is allowed per week. FBI had Parish & Gawn on field but only had the one player sub on, leaving only 13 players vs 14.
This becomes tricky for Captain loop holing, FBI tried to loop Bont’s VC score last week, but ended up getting Fiorini’s 16 as well. Suggestion is to not worry about C loop.
That’s why l went straight out with Neale as capt.

I reckon next year there will be a massive number of teams that will have 4 x Ruc/Fwd selections, fill the two Ruck emergency slots with cheapest possible and have a loaded forwards bench and just ‘shuffle the deck’ as required on a needs basis. It would seem that the day of the locked & loaded Ruck might be over, the new Ruc/Fwd hybrid is the way of the future.

Similar here. Not sure I want to avoid a donut by bringing in a tall spud that I will need another trade to kick out again later. I have loops set up all over the place to cover this situation on other lines, but not in the ruck due to all the injuries.

Have 1 trade left after this and Wehr as only bench cover. If I trade in Baker then I can swing him forward via Skinner and cover fwd and mid(swing Coniglio and Hamilton) while playing Wehr in Def. If I trade in Hall, I only have Def cover.
Who are you trading out to get one of Baker or Hall? Leaving just one trade means you have to be super confident that their scoring will be high for the remainder of the season and that they will not get injured (yes you Mr Hall). Leaving one trade up your sleeve is really, really optimistic, I’d say if you can try and make the most of what you’ve got right now until maybe just 3 rounds left or you could be munching on donuts for many weeks to come…

I know right I’m an idiot, was actually pretty keen on Baker, I’d already done my 2 trades and then saw that Preuss didn’t get named so had to reverse them. Then I thought ahh Baker might get role changed around, Hall is back and has a high ceiling and can save some money. It was right at that point I should’ve just gone straight to Dawson.
It will screw with my League wins and rank this week, but I’ll get Dawson next week even though he’ll be over 600k.
If it was early in the season I probably would have gone Hall too but it’s a great reminder, late in the season and low on trades, go the safer higher percentage trades

I brought him in in AF, I basically use AF to get my dodgy trades out of my system before knuckling down to serious SC trades! (Which don’t always work anyway!)
Boy it’s tough when you take 135 VC and your opponents hammer you (Oliver) in their choice. I did think he’d likely go big but hard to not take the 135?
It’s still not that much of a difference mate, it was the right call.
I would have done the same thing if I had Neale as my VC. It was the right thing to do. Oliver going big was no guarantee, those of us who had him as C got lucky
I took Libba’s 144, but knew Oliver would beat it.
The right call was to take Neales 135 mate, earlier in the season I would of taken it in a heart beat but I didn’t because my cash league opponent had Macrae as VC so his only option was to give Clarry a crack so I went with him to basically block any blinder that he may of had.
Just when I have some great scores from Oliver (C), Petracca, Miller etc Witts and Crisp have a bad week. Would be great if everyone in my team could play well on the same weekend or at least play as expected

He can stay a bit longer now. By time Stewart is back there won’t be much of a price difference
