Oh Captain, My Captain
If you need to VC someone in tonight’s game then Jack Steele is a good option, loves to play at Marvel Stadium averaging 120 there this season. Brodie Grundy plays early Saturday and comes up against the Swans, who he averages 159.6 against. Tom Mitchell is up against the Kangaroos, while Jack Ziebell presents as an outside the box option.
You can’t have a captaincy article and not mention Jack Macrae who comes up against Port Adelaide on Saturday night. Zach Merrett and Nat Fyfe face off against each other in the early Sunday game, and Clayton Oliver comes up against Carlton. Max Gawn scored 184 last time he played the Blues, and he won’t be sharing ruck duties with Luke Jackson this week.
