The Final Countdown | A Last-Minute Guide

Published by Azza on

The day is finally upon us, BBL10 starts tonight!

Now, instead of panicking, we here at Jock Reynolds want to put you at ease with our last minute BBL SuperCoach guide. This guide is chock full of all the information you’ll need to get your side locked and loaded for Round 1.

Picking a Side in 5 Minutes

Now, if you haven’t signed up for BBL SuperCoach, there is still time. We’ve produced a very handy guide to help you pick a side in just 5 minutes.

The Fixture Planner

Unlike AFL SuperCoach, BBL SuperCoach has an added level of complexity with multiple double game rounds.

This is where teams play twice in one round, offering SuperCoaches a chance to score twice as many points with these players, something that is an absolute must to focus on.

To help you plan for these rounds and to navigate the byes, we’ve developed a handy fixture planner to help found below.

Player Availabilities

There are more international players than ever before in the BBL.

But it can be quite challenging to keep track of when players are available, unavailable to international duties or signed as a replacement player.

Well, worry no more, as we have done the hard work for you in a handy spreadsheet found below.

There is also a bonus tab that looks at the availabilities of Aussie players selected for the Australian A or Test squad.

Injury List

Thankfully, there aren’t too many players injured going into Round 1, but we’ve developed a helpful injury list to guide you on those that are injured and when they are likely to be available.

Round 1 Cheat Sheet

Lastly, the fabled Jock Reynolds Cheat Sheet is back! Making its debut for the BBL season, this is a handy guide of players to lock in, players to consider and players to avoid.

Best of luck to all the BBL SuperCoaches out there and if you haven’t signed up already, do so at NOW!

G’day community. Time to have a crack at Big Bash Supercoach:

Thrown this side together:

Wkt: Josh Phillipe
Bench: B Holt
Bat: Marcus Stoinis
Chris Lynn
Uzman Khawaja
Dan Christian
Max Bryant
Bench: Bazlenka, Bertus
Bowl: Darcy Short (VC)
Glenn Maxwell (C)
Daniel Sams
Adam Zampa
Cameron Green
Bench: Rashid Khan (Bye) Nick Winter

Side will likely change and is subject to team’s dropping.

What line ups are others considering?
