Supercoach Trade Winds
Greetings everyone, it’s an exciting day for us all because football is back! It may not be exactly how we want it, but sometimes in life you gotta make some compromises! The obvious new wrinkle in Supercoach this year is the 5 trades we can use to fix up our sides given the huge delay between games. This is not something we’d usually get, so it is a big opportunity to perhaps correct some early errors, pick up some rookies you missed first go around and ditch some duds. First, we’ll look at who has the biggest break evens after round 1, then the lower BE players to look at, followed by what the rest of the Supercoach world is doing trade wise. So, let’s get cracking.
Manute Bol Break Evens
Josh Dunkley 174
Max Gawn 172
Matthew Kreuzer 169
Dayne Zorko 168
Jack Ziebell 168
Elliot Yeo 165
Marcus Bontempelli 161
Nic Newman 160
Jarrod Witts 156
Patrick Dangerfield 155
Josh Dunkley is #1, hitting the full 7’7 on the Manute Bol breakeven chart after his score of 67 SCPoints against Collingwood. Interestingly he has not been impacted as much as teammate Marcus Bontempelli on the trade front, with just 1.4% of Dunkley owners moving him on, compared to 3.5% for Bontempelli. That very well may have to do with the Bulldogs upcoming opponents of St Kilda and GWS, for which Bontempelli has an average of 86 SCPoints in his last 3 matchups against the Saints and 98 SCPoints against GWS. Dunkley on the other hand has a 3-round average of 129.5 SCPoints against the Saints and 111 SCPoints against the Giants.
Max Gawn comes in 2nd at 172, however he will be facing a Kreuzer-less Carlton and JREL Superstar Tom Bellchambers in his next 2, with averages of 116 SCPoints against Carlton and 147 SCPoints against Essendon in his 3-round average. He’ll drop some cash to the mid $600K range most likely, but as a potential C option he’s worth persisting with. Patrick Dangerfield has a BE of 155, however that hasn’t impacted him in the slightest, with his ownership change actually rising by 0.3% from Round 1, with a few hundred owners upgrading the likes of Brandon Zerk-Thatcher, Dylan Roberton and Fisher McAsey to Dangerfield.
Muggsy Bogues Break Evens
Sam Sturt -53
Marlion Pickett -47
Justin McInerney -34
Curtin Taylor -32
Mitchell Georgiades -28
Sam Naismith -25
Jack Viney -19
Tyler Brown -17
Jacob Townsend -14
Ben Long -10
Sam Sturt is the obvious candidate for a rookie trade in after his 100SCPoint score against the Bombers in Round 1. He was in 17.2% of teams for Round 1, with that ownership now rising to 28.5% currently. He did suffer a back injury during the quarantine period, but has played in Freo’s intra-club matches, so hopefully he gets up for Round 2. Marlion Pickett should have been in your side from day 1 (he’s in 77.8% of all teams currently), Justin McInerney should provide some value as midfield cover. He scored 81 SCPoints against the Crows, the Swans dominated the midfield in Round 1, so a repeat effort isn’t likely to that level, but he shouldn’t bomb out completely either. Mitchell Georgiades and Sam Naismith both have injury clouds currently, but Naismith does have a lot of admirers after his score of 121 SCPoints against the Crows.
Jack Viney blasted Round 1 with a score of 186 SCPoints, which has blown his BE out to -19. He’s projected to rise to about the $540K range over the next 3 weeks, the issue with trading him in his next 4 opponents, Carlton, Essendon, Geelong and Sydney of which he has career high scores of 117, 98, 109 and 113 against. Those scores are certainly nothing to scoff at, but it highlights the risk of perhaps trading a known premium like Bontempelli or Dunkley down to Viney. The most popular trades for Viney currently are Dylan Roberton, Brandon Zerk-Thatcher and Fischer McAsey, all 3 moves perfect acceptable in my opinion.
Trade Bolters
Sam Sturt +11.6%
Jeremy Howe +9.6%
Jack Viney +8.3%
Harley Bennell +5.4%
John Noble +5%
Justin McInerney +4%
Isaac Heeney +3.7%
Sam Jacobs +3.5%
Sam Naismith +2.7%
Chad Wingard +2.4%
Jeremy Howe is one of the bigger trade bolters early on after his score of 156 SCPoints against the Bulldogs. He’ll have a tough matchup against Richmond coming up, but has a 3-round average of 116 SCPoints against them, which you’d still take any day of the week. He’s mostly being traded in for Dylan Roberton, cannot argue with that move at all if you are considering it. Another popular trade in is his Magpie teammate John Noble. He scored just 74 SCPoints against the Bulldogs, but his price of $215,400 makes him a terrific downgrade option that should be upgraded to a premo quite easily later in the year.
Harley Bennell is a great story and is finally making his return to AFL football, and is a nice downgrade option to consider at $123,900. The risks are obvious with him, he’s super talented, but hasn’t played AFL level football in a very long time, so it may take him time to get up to speed. At worst you can watch him for the first two weeks and see how he goes before his first price rise. Isaac Heeney had a huge game against the Crows with a score of 152 SCPoints. He has an up and down record against his next 3 opponents of Essendon, North and the Western Bulldogs, but the talent he has is undeniable and will likely continue to be the focus point up forward for the Swans while Lance Franklin is injured. Sam Jacobs is the obvious Sam Naismith trade down replacement option now, though his 3-round averages against his upcoming opponents don’t wow the eye with 107.5 SCPoints vs North, 78.6 SCPoints against the Bulldogs and 63 SCPoints against the Pies. His midfield partners at GWS are performing at a much higher level than Jacobs Crows partners over 2018/2019, so hopefully the hitouts to advantage will be more plentiful this time around.
Trade Sliders
Dylan Roberton -6.1%
Ben Cavarra -4.5%
Tom Green -4.1%
Andrew Brayshaw -3.7%
Marcus Bontempelli 3-5%
Brandon Zerk-Thatcher -2.8%
Darcy MacPherson -2.6%
Fischer McAsey -2.6%
Jack Steven -1.9%
Tim English -1.8%
Ben Cavarra is owned by 24% of all teams, but disappointed most with a score of 32 SCPoints. Tom Green certainly wasn’t the worst with his score of 55 SCPoints, the issue is the delay in games has allowed the likes of Callum Ward to return to health, so he may lose his spot in the short-term. Andrew Brayshaw was a mid-price speculation that didn’t pan out in Round 1 with a score of 66 SCPoints. His issue was that he only played 63 minutes of game-time, which produced a Points Per Minute average of 1.0 PPM. To give some perspective to that, the likes of Dustin Martin, Michael Walters and Christian Petracca who toned up had PPM scores of 1.3 while playing between 80 to 97 minutes on field. So, you can see there’s a bit of work there for Brayshaw to do.
Most Popular Trades

Brandon Zerk-Thatcher to Jack Viney

Tom Green to Harley Bennell
Ben Cavarra to Trent Rivers
Dylan Roberton to John Noble
And that’ll be it for me here this week. Given the lack of state-league matches Around the Grounds may not be back this year, we will have to wait and see how much coverage we get from the scratch matches the clubs organize themselves. But as always, whack your comments down below and you can always give us a shout on the Twitter machine @BarronVonCrow. Good luck to you all on the rest of your 2020 Supercoach season!
Starting to question whether I want to make as many trades as I thought.
Maybe just correct Brayshaw and upgrade BZT. Possibly Green out for a different rookie if not named.
Obviously we can use all five and then two per round right into finals no worries. Just don't want to trade out a premo after one bad game simply because I "can"
Update: have used them all but kept all my premos. Bit the bullet and dropped Dylan Roberton and Andrew Brayshaw. Brought in Howe and Bewley. Only other changes were rookie corrections. Have to hope McHenry, Rivers and Bennell can string some games together.
good stuff steeeeevee. Only numpty's trade premos out after 1 game
Glad to see you back! <img src="https://tinyurl.com/yxbbsslm" width="1"/> <img src="https://tinyurl.com/wwct4y8" width="1"/>
It’s back! Footys back! Cant believe l cant go tonight, but I’d still take a win! Vc Grundy who are teams putting the C on if he performs below par? P.s good luck to all teams remember it’s a way shorter season so get those early wins!! No playing catch up this year!!
Think I'm playing you twice this week Shake!
Best of luck mate.
Going to be a a lot of good match ups Ranger!!
i won't be corrective sideways trading after only one performance. I will however be trying to fit in some of the players unavailable in rd 1 that are now supercoach relevant
I think I'm just going to sit. The only one I'm really thinking about moving on is Brayshaw and I don't like the sideways options really.
EDIT: I already have Wingard in case anyone suggest him.
I ditched Brayshaw for Rozee. it was always a flip of a coin between them for me and Rozee's 125 means his price is going north.
11th of June.
Footy is back
Lets GO!!
BZT is out some COVID thingy.
He had a root during isolating
Woohoo! C'aarn the Pies!
Good to be back SCing again, best of luck to all for the this weekend.
Bugger. Roberton is out. Back to the drawing board…
sorry fellas need a reminder, to be cut from the sunday team do you have to be named on the extended bench? i.e Issac Cumming named on field means he is playing
Yes
Any one can be cut. Just because someone is named on field does not guarantee that he is playing.
Only extended bench
Bedford Sturt and and l think cavarra won’t make the final cut. Already one short up fwd
nah 6 and a spare on the bench
cavarra can be the loop – 🙂
Can't be short this week Shake, ya gotta do something mate.
I’ll make a trade. If cavarra doesn’t get up I’ll trade Bradford or him
Finally footy is back. Really pumped for the games this weekend
Looking for some advice on whether the following trades are good
Brayshaw to Stuart or another rookie (maybe Bennell)
Robertson to Howe
Cheers community
Hi DM…Sturt injured this week so you could afford to wait, Roberton to Howe absolutely I say.
Sturt is not playing. (Calf injury) You have Curtis Taylor? If not, he would be a great rookie selection. Roberton to Howe if you have the cash is a nice trade. I am trading out Roberton to Doedee. Straight switch. Good luck mate! The footy is back!
Sturt not playing DM
Cheers for the responses
Don't have the cash to go Robertson to Howe without moving on Brayshaw to someone. I do have C Taylor
Another option is giving Brayshaw some time and just moving on Robertson to someone similarly priced like a Doedee
Edit turns out I am just short on Robertson to Doedee
Brayshaw to Long DM?
Hey Lads, I have Isaac Cumming and was gonna dump him for Doedee, would it be better to just see how it plays out this week first?
P.S Where's the panic room cause I'm panicking! 🙂
mate if they are playing let them play
doodee wont change till next week anyway…
Cheers bud, wise words, it'll be good to have a gander first I guess.
Im bringing Doedee in for Dyl Robbo Russty.
Good call Tommy, I thought Cumming would be omitted with Williams coming back in but he's named on field so I'll have another look, maybe he even tons up?..I still want Doedee though.
Same boat as me on that one mate. He'd been in the gun for 5 weeks but suddenly got a reprieve. I hope he plays a high scoring role and not a lockdown
So absolute carnage on the rookie front for me. D Robbo x 2, Cavarra, Davis, BZT all out, with Green and J Mac also in trouble. Feel like we may have to go early on rookies in the fwd/def lines this week to avoud donuts. Thoughts on T Brown? not entirely sold on his JS with stevo and treloar to come in
I'd get Brown in Tommy, maybe take the punt on Bennell too.
Brown for dev robbo russty?
Why not mate…Robbo omitted so that's not good.
McHenry
Hey Community, how do you use the emergency loophole on subs? Any help is appreciated.
Someone who's playing tonight Ando…leave em on the bench with the E on em.
You need a non player on that line to be able to use their score though, if they score well, bring the non player on to replace an onfield player.
If their score is shite, just leave them as the E and have 6 playing players on field.
Thanks Russty! Appreciate it!
Happy to help mate, hope you understood my gibberish
Hello all, how fkn good is it footys back in 10 minutes!
I'm going all out 5 trades, Sturt not getting a run has thrown a spanner but who cares anything goes.
OUT- Bedford
Cavarra
Green
B-Zerk
Dunkley
IN- M.King (would have been Sturt)
Rivers
Long
Viney
Howe
Traded Long out for Bedford to have a war chest 5 minutes before the bounce in round 1, that hurt.
B-Zerk to Howe is a no brainer.
Dunks to Viney is pure cash gen and hope to swap back or to similar in a few weeks.
Rivers opens a swing with Starcevich and NDD loves him.
King will at least play and one of him, Davis or Buderik will go to Sturt when he plays.
Team is.
Laird, Sicily, Doc, (Rivers)
Howe, Noble, Brander, (Williams)
Danger, Neale, Cripps, (Brown)
Cogs, Viney, Pickett, (Starc)
Rowell, McInerney, (Robertson)
Grawndy, (Comben)
Wit, Dusty,Devon, (King)
Long, Taylor, Davis, (Buderik)
BRING IT ON!
Good luck all 👍🍻
Hiya Hed, bummer bout Long mate but at least you got him back…good luck 🙂
Yeah I remember chatting about it to you at the time Russty.
Good luck to you, charge into the top 10 this week mate!!!
I went a bit conservative with my trades this week mate so not expecting much scorewise, I might lose most of my match ups, anyways it's about the long game.
Conroy at R3 not Comben
Trade Bont or hold?
If trade, who would you trade to from the following? Titch, Danger, Duncan, Boak, Gaff, or Coniglio.
Danger, Cogs or Titch.
Cheers Hedski. If you had to select one of those?
Not that you asked me Ando but I'd be all over Titch if you do have to trade Bont, I'm keeping Bont cause he averaged 114 last year, I have Titch also though.
Thanks Russty. Would you advise against trading Bont? Not concerned that he could be tagged in the next 3 games?
Not at all Ando because I mostly play for Leagues, and not rank… he could cop tags yes and deliver a few lower scores but he's beaten plenty of tags before, also it's the whole season that matters to me, I'd advise not trading him out but do what you feel is right mate.
Danger because he's Danger.
Your Dog is dangerous, especially when you let it drive down to the Bottle-o to get more beers.
Who needs a crowd when you've got fake crowd noise?…hahaha I don't mind it, it already feels more normal than that first round.
I didn't mind when I was looking at my phone, but when I'm actually watching it I don't love it
Eagles Tom Hickey out for Oscar Allen
Good for NicNat owners
Guess I could always go Noble to doedee?…LOL
Roberton to Doedee this week. I will deal with Noble next week. Hehehe
I whacked the E on him but now have to hope Cumming Brander and Rivers do better.
Yeah rnd1 Noble got heaps of ball and magden got nothing rnd 2 vice versa happened in preseason games as well I think
BZT to noble.. hmmmmmm
I'm sure I'm not alone
Can anyone get scores?
Nothing showing up on the app and I can't get on to fanfooty.
Scratch that just got on to FF 👍
I love this new crowd involvement initiative.
Some kid in the 1st row marks a point so they let him have a shot at goal . That's brilliant stuff well done Gil
Those cardboard cutouts got so excited at that Degoey almost a goal I swear I saw one of them sweating.
Very average score from Pickett
Hehe. And not to mention the 90,000 cardboard cutouts furious that they couldn't get into the MCG because the match was all cutout. . At least it wasn't 90,000 angry sex dolls
Hahaha
Refused to select Howe. Thought I was chasing points. Oops. Hopefully the Hurn pick will make up for it.
Howe was 39 at half time, you would have been feeling ok then
Gday boys, ripper of a game first up. Think a draw is a fair result. Good to be back, but a few issues for the SuperCoach team this week. Happy I backed Crisp instead of sidestepping to Howe, don’t think it’s worth a trade they will even out over the year. Anyone else in strife this week with their rookies?
Trade 1 tick. Bzt to Howe.
Well! After how many times I pressed that reverse button.
Ended up with these trades
Bzerk, Gresham, Brayshaw and Conroy
Ins
Howe, Noble, Ceglar and Cameron
Naismith my R2 who's not playing. I was forced to shuffle my FWD and R3 by getting Ceglar and Cameron to avoid a donut and in next couple of games if Naismith don't play.
Brought Howe and Noble in to strengthen my backline and not have to worry about rookies much.
Back
Laird, Sicily, Houston
Doc, Howe, Stacevic
Noble, Williams
Mid
Neale, Fyfe, Cripps, Titch
Bont, Pickett, Brown, Green
Rivers, McInerney, Budarick
Grundy, Naismith, Cameron
FWD
Whitfield, Ceglar, Smith
Schultz, Brander, Taylor
Davis, King
I avoided trading out any Premos this week. Kinda Sideway with mid-price player, which I think it was necessary in my case. Will see how it pans out in few weeks or so.
Good luck all, I'm just glad footy and SC is back.
The Jinx
Gday boys, guess my old account isn’t working on here so I guess this is the new one! Any suggestions for a bloke who has Naismith R2 with 3 trades left this week and 80k itb? Cheers!
Can you find another $17k to get Jacobs?
Pittonet?
Play Starcevich on field or trade BZT to Rivers and play him on field?
Just loop Starcevich first. Lions play early Saturday. Have him on bench with E, if he does well hold, if he does unwell, trade BZT to Rivers
Thanks Derek, very helpful.
I'm stealing this
Pickett, Noble and Brown gave us a reminder of what it is like to have rookies in our field.
37, 41 and 43 is what we should expect. And these fellas were some of the better ones.
57, 63 and 72 percent TOG is part of the reason and the other part is it’s the role of the guns to get the ball, not the rookies, step aside boys.
Same thing has happened in other years, especially during bye rounds, but this tear is going to be much worse.
I’m loosing sleep looking at my forward line of Taylor, King, Budarick, Cavarra and Georgie. 3 to be on field, yikiees.
Not to mention one of Brander, Rivers or Starcevich on field in defence.
Making cash is nice, but scoring points is better.
Decided to trade Whitfield and Cavarra/Georgie to Wingard and Pettracca. (Have cash after trading Sicily to Howe and Green to Brown).
This gets a rookie off the field
Last trade Roberton to Birchall a week early to avoid another rookie on field.
Maybe Doedee better bet than Birchall for D6
Pickett was on my bench with the E and purely for emergency loopholing purposes. He can get stuffed. Not taking that 37. One headache removed. I dont have Tyler Brown. Poor job security with Treloar in the wings. Noble is my only onfield score and he was solid with his 15 pozzies. His DE was poor which kept his score down. He will score better most weeks IMO. Is something up with Whitfield? A major role change? I just cant bear trading out an uber premo like that even if he bleeds a bit of cash after round 1. Cheers Derek. TH
Always the way hawk.
I had the E on Pickett rd 1 and had green on deck. We all know what happened .
Rd 2 Pickett on deck based on rd 1 score.
We all know what happened. <img draggable="false" role="img" class="emoji" alt="🙄" src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f644.svg">
Yep that fwd line would keep me up at nights
You need to do something but is Whitfield your only choice?
I’m tossing up giving Neale or Oliver the C
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
Be careful with trades.
They are NOT REVERSABLE
There is always someone forgets
You can actually reverse a trade if you haven't used all of the 5 trades. Just do the reverse trade and you get your trade back.
Too scared to try haha
I think DavidC has a sense of humour
Don’t anyone try it
I tested it before my update to confirm it still works. Originally traded Xerri to Jacobs, so traded Jacobs back to Xerri and it gave me my trade back. It does work but obviously it is scary the first time you do it. Good luck all.
In a normal season I wouldn't consider this but am thinking of trading Bont to Danger – am I risking the wrath of the gods? Looking at outright rather than leagues which may make a difference. Also looking at Roberton – Doedee sideways. Think I might hold off on new rookies this week to see how they go, have Mcasey, Starcevich, who won't lose much $$ if I keep them for another week.
Current team (still have 4 trades to use), any feedback welcome, have $94K in bank:
DEF: Doch, Howe, Short, Roberton, Starcevich, Williams, Noble, Mcasey
MID: Macrae, Neale, Fyfe, Kelly, Cripps, Bont, Rowell, Pickett, Green, TBrown, Robertson
RUC: Grundy, Gawn, Xerri
FWD: Dusty, Smith, Brander, Sturt, Taylor, Budarick, Cameron, Cavarra
Who to capt? Do l go Danger tonight 🤔?
I am taking Grundy's 230 as VC shake. Normally I would pass up a 115 VC score, but with such a long lay off for all players, I reckon picking a good premo C is a bit of a lottery until we get a decent form guide after a few rounds. 230 SC is solid and its in the bank. Danger should crunch out a 130-140 tonight, but he might be a bit rusty and sloppy. Look at Dusty last night. Did not even crack 80 points. Its also a nice feeling to bank the 230 SC points after not starting with Grundy in round one and putting the C on Bontempelli who produced 76 SC. Just something to consider. Good luck in whatever you chose to do Shake. Cheers. TH
I got stuck with Fyfes 110 In the 1st rd. We’re as 90% of teams went with Grundy. Decisions
I had to make my trades prior to final teams as I was going to be out. (Good luck me making trades while out with my wife and two of our oldest friends for her birthday.) As a result, I traded out Green potentially unnecessarily, but still have Roberton and Robertson in my squad.
It's lucky I love my wife, I tell ya!
BZT to Rivers?
A.Brayshaw to Petracca?
Thoughts on trading English to Jacobs? Started the season with English as a potential R2 with the injury cloud over Gawn, but the time off would benefit Maxi so I just need to make cash to get to him eventually.
Would love some advice community:
I got sucked in to MacPherson pre season numbers 🤯
Looking at trading him to his teammate Greenwood – named in the middle or Wingard – named on the ball and both look to be gaining more mid time this season.
Appreciate any thoughts
could really go either way tbh, all 3 of them should score similarly I feel. If I had to pick I'd go with Greenwood because I think he's been more consistent and should hold a spot in the mids longer than Wingard.
Agree with Joe, think I was wrong on Greenwood
Legends – who would you trade for Docherty? Brodie Smith or Andy Brayshaw (Brander DPP)
Actually to make it more clear:
1 – Neale & Brayshaw
2 – Danger & B.Smith
Cheers
Why are you trading Doch?
I think he’s trading in Docherty and getting rid of Brodie Smith
I've decided to trade out Bont. Not liking that he could possibly be tagged 3 games in a row.
Danger or Titch and why?
Danger – favourable draw with plenty of games being at GMHBA and he hasn't been out of the game for a season unlike Titch. Even if Titch has a better season than Danger you wouldn't expect it to be better by much.
Cheers Joe
After making some adjustments around the edges with my other 4 trades, I've got 1 trade left and enough money to upgrade Bont to Neale. Doing that trade would leave my mid premos as:
Neale, Titch, Macrae, Cripps, Oliver
with $12.4k left over.
I know rule of thumb is don't touch your premos, but gee it's mighty tempting. Thoughts community?
Neale is better than Bont for SC so I like it
Thoughts on theses moves?
Brayshaw, Roberton, Zerk, Cavarra to Bewley, Doedee, Rivers and Long
I like it
Cheers Ando.
I’m looking at trading Brayshaw but idk who to maybe Pertracca or Greenwood thoughts? Don’t have the cash to go up to a premium unless I trade Green to Bennell then I could get Heeney?
Good move
Are any of these boys worth holding or should we look to move them on??
Roberton, BZT, Tom Green, Cavarra, Sturt
Thoughts on Long, Doedee, or Birch in for Roberton?
I’m holding BZT, because he is only suspended for 1 week and hopefully back next week. I ditched Cavarra for Bennell, didn’t have Sturt. I would trade Green, if there was someone worth getting (for me).
Who are you trading to? If you trade in and put the new player on the bench, then probably not worth it.
I’ve done 2 trades, so 28 trades left for 15 rounds. My plan is 4 trades over the next 3 weeks (or something similar) and then 2 a week for the rest of the season.
I’d probably be looking at any of Bennell, Rivers or McHenry in for some of the cheaper rookies (green, cavarra)
And then maybe someone more pricey for Robertson e.g doedee, Birchall, Ben long or bewley
Thoughts on who to bring in out of them?
I picked up Bennell and Rivers for Cavarra and some nobody I can’t even remember. Bennell at 123k has a similar risk to any rookie, but the potential upside is huge.
Well I guess you have to risk it for the 🍪 I’m letting Viney go, let Howe go, letting Bewley and all the other cash generators to pass me by. Hopefully I’m doing the right thing.
Time will tell mate, it's a crapshoot this year…I just thought stuff it just then and did 2 more trades haha
Not taking Grundys vc score, it's outta Danger,Gawn and Neale for the captain's armband.
Heart says Danger, head says Neale and guts says Gawn…….
I'm going with Neale but if I had Gawn I'd go with him.
Yeah, I'm going Gawn over Neale.
Danger Hedski 250th hey! What do u reckon?
How are ya Shake? Yeah thought the game started at 7.40, now I'm freakin about if I should change back to Max.
Danger looks primed on the field tho, I'm sticking with him.
Slightly under whelming game last night mate, thought your guys should have won.
After half time tigers backs played a higher line. Broad astbury grimes houli. Invited to much pressure probably lucky to hold on. Ball just kept getting rebounded. Cats were great after half time. I went with Danger as capt Hedski. When Sheil went to him was going to be a tough night. Came good aswell after the half. Good luck for the rest of the weekend.
Am in the same boat but leaning towards Neale as Freo have no taggers of note so reckon he might go BIG!
Danger
Gawn will eat Pittonet for breakfast.
great judge TH
Same rolling the dice on (Gut) says Titch or (Head) says Neale. Leaning towards my gut wish me luck
The Jinx
Since I'm playing you Jinx (GnR league), I'll go gut as well.
Danger it is. <img draggable="false" role="img" class="emoji" alt="👍" src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f44d.svg"><img draggable="false" role="img" class="emoji" alt="🍻" src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/svg/1f37b.svg">
Carn Cattas.
Oops, Danger was heart.
Fugg this won't be pretty.
Good luck Hed, reckon I'm going with Titch and hope he has a biggy, my score ain't looking too flash this week so not much to lose.
Gawn will be super angry and Mark Jackson wont get much of a ruck go NDD
Laird, Sicily, Docherty, Noble, Brander, Stracevic (Gould, BZK)
Danger, Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, Rowell, Pickett, McInerney (T Green, T Brown, Budarick)
Gawn, Grundy (Combden)
Whitfield, Dusty, D Smith, C Taylor, B King, T Bedford (Cavarra, Georgiades)
Already traded Roberton to Noble. Still have 4 trades. There's a lot not playing
Thinking maybe get rid of Bedford and T Green for.
Best options?
Bennell and Rivers?
Thanks do you think T Green and Bedford main ones? What do you think about Bewley? I have enough.
Bedford or Cavarra Dash either could go….Bewley looks all right as long as he keeps his wing role…and yeah Green, the money could be used elsewhere and Giants' midfield is hard to break into for a new guy.
Does Bedford get back in now Kozzy and Spargo are covid stricken?
Oh hadn't heard about that Hed..oh I just saw, two more rule breachers.
Hold Brayshaw or use my final trade to change him too Heeney, Sympkin, Wingard, Greenwood or Long? I am somewhat leaning towards Greenwood but Sympkin or Long leaves me a good chunk of cash for next weeks trades but to be honest I don't know a lot about either player and how consistent we can expect them to be. Any thoughts on the above listed or any other viable options would be appreciated, currently have $534K to spend. Cheers..
Heeney's probs your most reliable option there Pman…consistently averages 95 or so, hopefully more this year.
I've had Heeney the last 2 years and he's been a bit up and down and at times injury prone, that said he was pretty awesome Rd 1. I guess it's better than a sideways trade and you would expect he'll finish in the top 8 Forwards for the year…you've almost sold me on him!
I like Long also though, might get both myself 🙂 I've a feeling Heeney might get a bit better this year.
Trading in Long gives me $251K for next week whereas Heeney (should be Premo and a Keeper) gives me only $24K for next week. Only have the 1 trade left so what do you feel is better option? Both will make decent cash in first few weeks but can Long be consistent? Any love for Greenwood?
I'd take Heeney or Greenwood before Long. Long had too few stats for his score to suggest that he'll do it every week. 7 kicks and no goals for 110+ is very rare
Greenwood's ok, strikes me as the 80 to 85 type though, Long is an unknown quantity at half back, could be good or very not so good, Heeney is the safest bet mate.
Help, Williams, Burgoyne, Sicily or Haynes?
Sicily….I have him in my team. Burgoyne is too old, Williams coming back from injury and don't know much about Haynes.
For me Williams if 100% fit..Sicily my 2nd choice, and pass on the other 2.
Full panic mode ATM:
A) L.Ryan/BZT/MacPherson/Green to Rivers/Doedee/Bewley/Neale
B) L.Ryan/BZT/MacPherson/Cavarra to Rivers/Doedee/Bewley/Danger
C) BZT/MacPherson/Green/Cavarra to Rivers/Ceglar/Bennell/Bewley
D) BZT/Green/Cavarra/MacPherson to Rivers/Viney/BennellBewley
McAsey the other on the block but since he's playing, I'll give him a week.
Leaning to option A and leaning all in on the mid price madness
A or B for me TC…I'd like to see Long there instead of Bewley though.
Cheers Russty. I'm more sold on Bewley over Long. Just a gut feel. Thinking I might go B and ride Danger's run at Alphabet Stadium
Fair enough mate, good luck that's 4 good replacements there.
