Two trades rounded out the final day of trade period’s first week on Friday, with Sam Frost joining Hawthorn and Ed Langdon joining the Demons.

Both deals involved a complicated amount of picks, but we don’t care about that here.

Langdon will slide right into a wing role opposite Adam Tomlinson – who we spoke about earlier in the week – but there could be impacts on players like Clayton Oliver and Max Gawn.

We also discuss the impact Sam Frost will have on the Hawks, and why James Sicily should be absolutely locked into your 2020 backline.

What do you think of the moves?

Wish Frosty all the best. He gave his heart and soul every week and we will miss him. James Frawley improved his disposal when he moved to Hawthorn and became a priemiership footballer and maybe Frosty will do likewise although hopefully his ex team mates will achieve that honour before Frosty.

Certainly don't wish ill form on anyone but I don't think I can handle the Hawks winning another flag in the next, say, two decades. How do you see Ed Langdon impacting your Dees, Tony?
