PODCAST | Episode Names Are Hard

Published by Patch on

Episode names are hard. Really hard. What’s even harder? Splitting Treloar, Macrae and Bontempelli, which is what the three amigos of Lek, Patch and Foz try to do this week on the Jock Reynolds podcast.

They talk about some new West Australian forward option, rib on Patch for a senseless, rookie error and wallow in the sorry of each of their sides losing. If the recording equipment worked, stay tuned for a potential Damo Talking About Fremantle podcast.

How did you fare in the first week of finals, community?

Has Josh Dunkley had a role change ? He is not putting out the scores he was earlier

    Lekdog · 06/08/2019 at 09:15

I think he's just balancing out a little in terms of output, 107 still a great return for a forward

Darren · 06/08/2019 at 09:18

won 3 of 4 matches to go to prelim. More importantly my Punt Rd Paupers remains alive in Survivors League………

    Lekdog · 06/08/2019 at 14:40

    Well done Daz!

    Patch · 07/08/2019 at 19:09

    Nice Dazza!

s c tragic · 06/08/2019 at 10:05

Does anyone know this weeks highest score, some big ones out there.???

    Darren · 06/08/2019 at 10:22

Streaker · 06/08/2019 at 10:58

Won my final 2607 to 2588 plus top score for the year in my cash league to hopefully win some $$$

Streaker · 06/08/2019 at 11:00

Treloar becoming a must have.

    No idea · 06/08/2019 at 13:28

Traded him in his last week- very happy
Mind you I also traded in Birchall last week- very unhappy

      Russty_ · 06/08/2019 at 22:00

      So…you're just feeling ok then?…lol

Streaker · 06/08/2019 at 13:32

Lekdog, is it madness to use last 2 trades this early to win cash league final this week? Treloar would be coming in.

    Lekdog · 06/08/2019 at 14:40

Make the trades, bank the cash!

Papa Pistons · 06/08/2019 at 17:03

Here is the video @Lekdog of Port vs the bye, ripper vid

Stacky23 · 06/08/2019 at 17:09

Caleb Daniel injured, got one trade max budget 482k cause I got Marshall instead of Walters last week, can get a fwd or mid who should I look at, Cunnington Hopper Murphy and Gray at top of list atm

    Ja191 · 06/08/2019 at 17:31

    Shauny Higgins

      Stacky23 · 06/08/2019 at 17:47

burnt me last year, never again

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 06/08/2019 at 20:01

      Russty_ · 06/08/2019 at 21:46

      Prestia's beyond his budget mate.

        TRIGGA_HAPPY · 07/08/2019 at 08:17

Didnt realize prestia had gone up so much 🙊

Smurf has been awesome since I brought him in so I have no hesitation in recommending Smurf.

Different role under Teague attending alot more centre bounces.

    Russty_ · 06/08/2019 at 21:47

Reckon Murphy's got the most solid numbers out of those 4 over the last 4 – 5 weeks.

    Patch · 07/08/2019 at 19:10

I like Robbie Gray from that list Stacky

    Lekdog · 08/08/2019 at 10:10

I like a Hopper pod but Kelly is coming back

      Russty_ · 08/08/2019 at 21:02

No Kelly, glad I never brought that injury magnet in.

gvaa1 · 06/08/2019 at 23:11

Treloar very valuable <img src="https://s04.flagcounter.com/mini/Jkzv/bg_FFFFFF/txt_DEDEDE/border_FFFFFF/flags_0/" width="1"/>

    dontblushbaby · 07/08/2019 at 10:04

Same, I’m keeping Sicily now with Birchall out, I am looking at upgrading Burgess for a D9 to loop with instead

    Patch · 07/08/2019 at 19:10

I'd hold Sic, mate. I know it's hard but keep him

    Russty_ · 07/08/2019 at 21:52

Nick · 07/08/2019 at 13:00

2 trades left with 70 k in the banks. Elimination at stake this week in cash league. My weak points are T Stewart D6 and Westhoff F6. Both are averaging in low 80s for the last three rounds.

Westy has been a pain in my arse all year and would love to dump him, but with only 490k to spend fwd options are not great with T Lynch the best I can come up with.

Alternatively I can afford to upgrade Stewart to Houli.

Thoughts on these trade options or hold both trades for prelim and GF. Projections show me just in front of this week’s opponent.

    Sam_01 · 07/08/2019 at 16:59

Always iffy business sideways trading “premos” I do think that Houli will do better than Stewart, do also feel the same way in the forward line, I’d probably punt westy has the potential to stink it up a lot more than Stewart
I’d consider jezza Cameron aswell if he is back with GC on the run home

      Patch · 07/08/2019 at 19:11

I like Jezza more than going Stewart to Houli

        Russty_ · 07/08/2019 at 21:49

Yo Patchynator, I reckon Jezza or Hawkins..Westhoff isn't an option for me next year, stuck with him this year though…unfortunately!

Russty_ · 07/08/2019 at 22:06

Podcast names aren't that hard for this week Patchy…I would've called it "Doom Round"…Doom or Bust lol

Blue · 08/08/2019 at 10:34

Brodie Smith looks like good value at $475K for a D6
3 & 5 Round average above 100.

Tommy · 08/08/2019 at 18:50

FFS josh kelly have held you this long and now it’s going to cost me, straight sets finish coming up just like my cats. Injuries have killed me this year

    Russty_ · 08/08/2019 at 20:56

Kelly is notoriously untrustworthy at the end of seasons, or whenever he gets injured, his injuries often run into double predicted time.

Punani · 08/08/2019 at 18:51

Need to trade Daniel, tossing up between Greene and Walters? Thoughts?

    Russty_ · 08/08/2019 at 20:55

    Greene !

Sammy B · 09/08/2019 at 05:05

Tossing up between Trelor or Walters to get to full premo who should I get, got the money ro spend.

    Sam_01 · 09/08/2019 at 07:48

I’d back in treloar Sammy, both good options though

Sam_01 · 09/08/2019 at 07:46

Gee wiz holty you would be filthy at the josh kelly injury, hate to say i told you so haha, you could of been battle big froffff to take out the prize!

zafreco · 10/08/2019 at 17:57
