The Standing Room | Round Five
It’s been a whirlwind of a round so far, with premiums rewarding those who stuck with them. Murmers of people looking to trade Treloar and Crisp during the week would have (hopefully) been quashed by their good performances on Thursday, and Zach Merrett continued his brilliant run of form.
Lachie Neale proved he is human after all, dropping his first sub-100 game for the season and paving the way for Paddy Cripps to claim the crown as the number one scoring player for the season – much to the enjoyment of a certain mustache-wearing friend of mine. However, Neale’s score is good for those of us without him, as he should leak some cash over the coming weeks to make him slightly less unaffordable – the same could be said for Brodie Grundy if you – for some reason – didn’t start him.
I’m already planning on culling LDU – what the machinations whirring in your mind? Who are you banking on for a big score? How are you travelling so far this round?
And while we’re at it, how ’bout those Bombers? Where do we rank ’em? Or are Norf just rubbish?
