PODCAST | Panic at the Premo
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
It’s all come down to this. It’s less than four sleeps until lockout, and all the plans we’ve carefully put into action are slightly falling apart. But don’t be frightened, for Lek, Damo and Patch are here to guide you through the darkness and into the light of round one.
There’s a Panic in the premos – but stop. Trust your gut. Don’t make last minute changes. Back the process in. Back your guns.
On the rookie front however BOY OH BOY. It’s becoming interesting and there are precious few numbers. The lads run through them and give a final word of advice on the fables F3 slot.
Remember to check out the reviews of EVERY SINGLE JLT game, all the scores, all the team pickers, all the everything all over the website and jump into the Rate My Team Megathread and tell us who you’re picking.
Hey guys just some last minute thoughts about the team?
DEF: Lloyd, Laird, Williams, Smith, Scrimshaw, Clarke ( Greaves, Hore)
MID: Macrae, Crippa, Oliver, Neale, M Crouch, Walsh, Butters, Duursma ( Constable, Atkins, Gibbons )
RUC: Gawn, Goldy ( Sweet )
FWD: Danger, Heeney, Billings, Setterfield, Drew, Petruccelle ( Parker, Cotrell )
Foward like is lacking but Defence and Mids will make up the points I hope. Much appreciated guys
With goldy at r2 you'd want to have a stronger fwd line
Very similar structure myself minus Smith in defense for me. Like it Sellars
I like the deeper defence, god I hope Billings works for you
Me too Lek..Surely he cant have 2 bad years in a row.
Billings cost me a top 3 finish. Never again haha
Al Clarkson came out and said some comments towards Scrimshaw this week which recently which i think puts him in doubt for alot of game time and their plans for him this season. I think better going with Collins or Burgess who have their spot locked and will play week in/out

Hey guys, just after some tips on my team, it currently sits
Def: R.Laird, S.Hurn, Z.Williams, B.Smith, S.Collins, J.Clark (J.Scrimshaw, X.Duursma)
Mid: P.Cripps, C.Oliver, S.Coniglio, M.Crouch, J.Lyons, S.Walsh, Z.Butters, L.Stocker (C.Constable, B.Scott, M.Gibbons)

Fwd: P.Dangerfield, D.Smith, I.Heeney, W.Setterfield, N.Balta, J.Petruccelle (I.Hill, M.Parker)
40k remaining in the kitty
Rookies subject to change after team announcements
Biggest problem is probably the fwd line
Lyons POD! If we get enough rookies I don't mind this side at all
Stocker is a fair way off getting a game
True
Good old Rodd Goldstein
which is better
Walsh and b crouch
or
Atkins and o'meara (Atkins will be benched for constable)
a)
Atkins will be lucky to play, walsh is a gun. the other two are similar output
Walsh and crouch
my brain keeps urging me to swap JOM out of my team, but my gut tells me that this will be his break out season (105+ avg)…He is the only Hawk in my side, but I can't shake the feeling that this will be the year he plays 22 games and kills it in the midfield
If we want Grawndy then its simple ,either a strong F4 or F3 .I have gone a strong F4 Dunkley Can[t have them all Top Pod boys helpful as usual
my compromise is to go Merrett instead of Macrae. can't have them all (to start with)
Hey guys, what’s the ideal bye structure? It’s looking like I could have 7-8 out in round 13 (hurn, crisp, Oliver, Gawn, Grundy, Danger, heeney and potentially de goey. Is that too many?
3 – 5 – 6 or 4 – 4 – 6, logic adding two premos last bye round
180k In Bank and I don’t really know what to do with it?
Lloyd, Z.Williams, B.Smith, Collins, Clark Duursma (Burgess, Hore)
Macrae, Cripps, D.Martin, M.Crouch, B.Crouch, Walsh, Butters, Constable
(B.Scott, Atkins, Gibbons)
Grundy, Gawn (Sweet)
Dangerfield, Heeney, Dunkley, Greene, Setterfield, Drew (Petruccelle, Parker)
Thoughts on my team community?
Brad Crouch to Coniglio
It’s a good team!
you could upgrade T Green to Angus Brayshaw, just a thought

Have been indecisive this year, any thoughts appreciated with $14k remaining…
DEF: Hurn, Millera, Mills, Smith, Cunningham, Ridley (Scrimshaw, Burgess)
MID: Macrae, Crippa, Dusty, Kelly, BCrouch, Walsh, Drew, Atkins (Hind, Gibbons, Collier-Dawkins)
RUC: Gawn, Martin ( Clarke)
FWD: Danger, Menegola, Heeney, Moore, Setterfield, Petruccelle ( Parker, Cavarra)
No discussion on Rozee? Or did I miss it?
He didn't have the best JLT and he's expensive so he's probably in the back of people's minds but Rozee, Butters, Drew and Duursma are all confirmed to take on the Demons.
Ok was wondering thanks… his high price is putting me off but a fwd rookie who has JS seems priceless right now
Hey guys just looking for any tips on my team. Decided to go with some very common picks in a completely unique setup. Know it’s risky but am keen for some carnage. Could win the whole thing, could finish way back in the pack but want to have some fun with it. Any advice on specific players would be helpful. Not keen on Libba but can’t figure out who to replace him with.
DEF: Lloyd, Hurn, Williams, Smith, Ridley, Clark (Duursma, Hore)
MID: Macrae, Oilver, Coniglio, M. Crouch, B. Crouch, Libba, Walsh, Butters (Bewley, Scott, Gibbons)
RUCK: Goldstein, Pierce (Sweet)
FWD: Dangerfield, Heeney, Dunkley, Kelly, Setterfield, Drew (Petruccelle, Parker)
Cheers for the podcast guys. Keep up the great work!
Too light in the ruck department. You need at least one of gawn or grundy (if playing for rank) if not both.
Libba & Goldstein to Constable & Grundy?
Can you go pierce to gawn and downgrade f3/f4 to a rook?
I would prefer not to downgrade to a rookie at f4 as I would leak too many points
Maybe downgrade Kelly or Dunkley to either Moore or a rookie and Ridley to Collins then Goldy to Grundy or Gawn
Kelly, mundy, dunkley or other at F3? Also questioning Moore at F4. Decisions decisions lol.
F3 is definitely a tough spot. Mundy I feel is ageing a bit could still average well though, Kelly I feel will be a bit inconsistent, and Dunkley currently my F3 could be played anywhere. Moore though, I can't see scoring well enough or making enough coin
Forwards are tough as usual. I can't see any other forward rookies playing long enough to make coin. Balta will be dropped as soon as lynch is fit etc.
Lynch is playing R1, if Balta plays he should be a safe pick.

Any feedback fellas?
B – Lloyd, Crisp, Williams, Clark, Duursma, Hore (Burgess Joyce)
M – Macrae, Cripps, Treloar, Coniglio, M.Crouch, Walsh, Butters, Scott (Constable Atkins Gibbons)
R – Grundy, Gawn (Bines)
F – Danger, Heeney, Darling, Moore, Setterfield, Drew (Petruccelle Parker)
16K left
Not sold on the rookie exposure down back, but I can make some moves with my premos to bring in Brodie Smith at D4 for assurance
Add in Smith or Ridley. Going to cop too many low scores early with that defence
Also anyone have spots in a draft league? I'm keen and can draft tonight or tomorrow. Especially a keeper league if someone has one
Cheers
Hey lads, what do we think we should be aiming for in terms of ideal bye structure? Obviously its easier and far more convenient to just ignore them but come bye time, i will be regretting not planning for them at least a little bit
Last season I didn't plan for the byes. I just dealt with it as it came. Made sure I had enough trades to get me through though. Finished 5th so I guess it worked out for me :p
Fair enough mate ahaha. Do you reckon 8 from one bye round too many?
I tried checking my team from last season to see what I had during the byes but don't see to be able to, but in round 12 I only scored 1583, so I imagine I had a fair few out that round!
Forget the rookies Tommy, just try and spread your starting keepers evenly if you can.
I only look at the byes in these last couple of weeks once I'm pretty locked in with my starting keepers and I'll only make a change if there is a keeper that I can happily swap to another that helps my bye structure.
At the moment I have 13 keepers and a spread of 5-4-4 over the byes.
And if you haven't done it already use Matty's team picker now and thru the early part of the season to monitor your byes.
Yeah i have been mate. I have 7 premo keepers out in round 13, which is probably too many. But i dont wanna drop any of them so i think i'll keep them and just not trade for any of these bye teams until after their bye.
Love the flex Teddy👍🏻
The way I see it is, you want to get as many runs on the board as early as you can to capitalise on other people's poor starting selections etc etc. Chasing points later in the season is a lot harder when everyone ends up with the same premos. No point planning for 12 rounds down the track when the first 11 are harder to get right.
Try to win 2/3 bye games. Very difficult to win all 3 and in trying to do so you may lose all 3 🙁
The Coniglio song may have forced him into my side
Is Scrimshaw not gonna play?
Al Clarkson came out and discussed the younger players this week, and what he said kindve said there will be limited game time for the rookies etc. I think for the most part a lot of people took it that way. Its not a lock for the start of the season, probably safer to go to Collins or Burgess from the suns who will have game time guaranteed or just keep him on the bench.
What are your guys opinions on luke bruest as a POD
Gawn and Grundy with 11k in the Bank or Gawn and Goldstein with 170k?
Gawn and Goldy with some bank
walsh and no money at m7 or butters and 50k?
Walsh probably has better job security and looked really good.
Butters and 50k for sure
Can any of you helpful people tell me how to look up my previous years' rankings on SuperCoach website? I found it last year but can't remember how…
History tab in top left corner.
legend, thx Teddy!
the only decision left is I am to finalise is my F4 Currently it’s Greene but I have been bullish on Higgins all Preseason at an awkward price of 390k. U18s avg of 144 and JLT was impressive. Probably my fav player to watch love his energy. Is there a spot in the tigers midfield for jack to have a second year break out?
I'm pretty keen on him too. Just an awkward price. $50k less and I'd lock him in. Has been him or Vandenberg at F4 for me for few weeks.
Well scratch Vandenberg off your list, he's going to miss up to 4 weeks.
Hey guys,
so my bye structure is quite uneven atm. Its looking like 2-7-4 which isnt ideal. But my round 13 premos are the ones i'm most confident in. Hurn, Crisp, Oliver, Gawn, Grundy, Danger and Heeney. Do i just stick with them and look to even it out with trades during the season or should i get rid of 1-2 of them to start more even?
No, that's fine you don't even have more than 2 per line
Thoughts on Elliot YEOOOO
He will be a very good selection this year. I can’t accomodate him as he’s another Rd 13 bye player and I already have 7!
Lock.
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but have spots available in our league – Spidapigs. Code is 875706 – Anyone welcome to join.
Issue 1: Are coach's losing interest in Whitfield??? I dont see him in many teams.
A lot of teams I see are going with one of the big two (Lloyd or Laird) then Williams and Smith, making only 3 defenders & rookies
This can be achieveable because there are enough good rookies in the back line this year.
Issue 2: The big problem is the forward line, very few decent rookie picks on this line, so it might be better to go 3 defenders/ 3on field rookies and 4 premo fwds along with 2 onfield rookies.
What do you think about these 2 issues??
let me know
Issue 1 – Leon Cameron has said with Shaw & Williams coming back, Whitfield will be pushed back to the wing and even pushed forward. Uncertainty of role, I'd rather wait the season and see. He could still EASILY average 100 but uncertainty around the $540k price tag has pushed many coaches away.
Issue 2 – Feel ya 100% with forward line rookies. Decent scoring potential & JS I'd have Setterfield/Petreceulle, still decent JS but lower scoring potential would be Burges… then you'd have Parker as mature age still worthy of a bench spot and Drew with decent scoring potential but likely to be dropped once Wines comes back in round….. two.
Many are in the same boat, ideally try push a premo to F4 it will definitely be the area I target first for upgrades.
Good luck for the season.
That’s my structure. 4 premos in fwds. Danger, Heeney, Dunkley and Boak. All midfield options. I was flirting with Darling F4 but too hard being Rd 13.
Yeah better rookies ib defence means 3 on field in defence, f4 deep with premos. Gp9ng 4 deep in both def and fwd will mean the other more crucial lines suffer.
F4 doest gave to be am ultra fwd premo, a mid risk like Greene/Moore/Vandenberg (yes he is a good pick) should suffice
Don't think Vandenberg was a good pick but he's out now for a few weeks anyway.
Had Whitfield since day one. Proven scorer.
agree
here is my final team hopefully, please let me know what you think
Defs Laird/ Whitfield/Williams/ Smith/ Scrimshaw/ Clark (Hore/ Watson)
Mids Cripps/ Oliver/ Fyfe / Martin / MCrouch / Constable/ Duursma/ Butters / (Scott/ Atkins/ Gibbons)
Rucks Gawn/ Grundy (Fort)
Fwds Dangerfield / Heeney / Dunkley/ Setterfield/ Drew/ Petruccelle (Balta / Parker)
Please let me know if I should make any change
Whats your thoughts on this?
Lloyd, Williams, B.Smith, Moore, Scrimshaw, Clark (Duursma, Hore)
Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Martin, Sheed, Cousins, Walsh, Butters (B.Scott, Atkins, Gibbons)
Gawn, Goldstein, (Bines)
Danger, Westhoff, Heeney, Higgins, Setterfield, Drew (Petrucelle, Parker)
Worst thing is I am going to be without phone & internet on Thursday-Saturday. Going to have to hope these rookies get named…..
Haha No not jail. Remote NT fishing trip from tomorrow to Saturday. Couldn’t get reception if I tried
Some of the bigger Crocodiles have nbn now so you should be ok 😉
You can feel free to give us your log in details and we the community will pick for you ;D
Priorities mate. I have traded work shifts so i dont miss out
Brayshaw and Grundy or Goldstein and Macrae?
Already have both, can't split the option above.
Could you find the cash to go Merrett or crouch instead?
Thoughts on the Squad lads?
DEF: Laird, Hurn, Crisp, Collins, Scrimshaw, Clark, Duursma, Hore
MID: Macrae, Cripps, Coniglio, M Crouch, Brayshaw, Walsh, Butters, Constable, Scott, Atkins, Gibbons
RUC: Grundy, Gawn, Sweet
FWR: Danger, Heeney, Billings, Setterfield, Drew, Balta, Petrucelle, Parker
Have Grundy at R1, backline is Laird, Whitfield, Williams, Clark and Duursma (Hore, Watson)
To complete these lines…
Brodie Smith and Goldstein
or
Rozee and Gawn
Thoughts?
Think you'd have to go for Goldstein since he gives you another 80 avg on the field – and Rozee looks like a terrible investment. However, if any other rookie is available apart from Rozee, go for Gawn.
Hurn, Witherden, Williams, Collins, Scrim, Clark (Duursma, Burgess)
Cripps, Oliver, Cogs, M Crouch, Neale, Walsh, Butters, Const. (Scott, Atkins, Gibbons)
Grundy, Gawn (Sweet)
Danger, Heeney, Dunkley, D Moore, Setters, Drew. (Parker, Petrucelle)
Thoughts?? I’ve gone back and forth too many times and this is the side I keep coming back to.
Currently something that has my attention is the Westhoff Dilemna. No ruck cover this year makes Grawndy something of a massive liability if injury strikes – can't really have the donut.
The only truly SC relevant potential cover would be Westhoff. Has the handy Rd 12 bye, a fair fwd premium though unlikely to get the 100 this season.
If Gawn or Grundy skip a week, Westhoff pays for himself in saved trades/points. Unless you splurge on a likely ruck rookie now, it's something of a gamble we all must play this season.
Most will take the gamble and even make a trade if out for many weeks. It is a good point though, but are we overthinking it to the point of picking a mediocre fwd? Also a good question to ask. If you think westoff will continue his 100odd average, by all means he is a great pick. I see him averaging low 90s, and just not worth the risk for me. Like i said, very valuable anf interesting take
I’m taking Bines in R3 which will allow an F5/F6 Ruck/FWD to emerge that you can trade to if say Grundy is out for one or 2 weeks. Could be Lycett rather than Westhoff.
I am with you King.I have had him for a long time.Number two forward last year why not i will take mid nineties NDD
Mid 90's would be top6 thereabouts. He is very durable too
Seriously considering cuningham but his scoring could diminish with fasolo back in the side, thoughts?
thoughts on J.Lyons and M.Walters?
No to both for me. Lyons in a new team. Walters is too injury prone
Walters a good pod. Not for me though
Walters is on my never again list.
If zac clarke is named and is number 1 ruckman i might be bold and make him R2 to free up space for lyons in the mid at M6
No
I'd consider Clarke at r2, but I'd want Westhoff too
Speaking as a bombers fan.

Hey there Supercoach nation,
I'm looking for people to join my league (code – 874174). I have about 15 spots remaining, l would prefer people to join who are experienced or don't give up on their team half way through the season. Also how do you make the Phantom join your league?
Cheers guys.

Any help would be appreciated!
I like Hurn as a POD and your side is a good POD side, but you are carrying a fair bit of risk with Higgins and Miles at M5, might have to burn a trade to upgrade or correct later on, then again who isn't carrying risk at this stage with rookies being uncertain? Goodluck!
Whats Walsh got to avg to be a successful pick?
80 for me. I'm not overly worried about cash generation, just like to be able to hold him long-term while I sort other lines out. Last upgrade, like Cripps when he burst onto the scene.
75 would be successful
75 is about par I think. If he averaged that I don't think it will hurt you if you have him or if you don't. For that price I'd be happy with 70+ in any other position.
Funny, but I asked that exact question 6 weeks ago and boy did it get some negative responses. A couple of JLT games and have the people come around.
85+ to generate the $$ of the cheaper rookies …
No first year player has gotten near that playing a significant number of games in a season
I have had Merrett locked at M5 since the prices came out.
I can’t recall seeing him any other teams
Surely he is a top 8 mid?
Two years as a solid choice 111 and 109. Back to 100 last year. I think he’s good for 105-110, so is not the worst pick, but is he top 8? He doesn’t give me the confidence that he will go 110+. I have confidence that the following players can MacRae, cripps, Oliver, Fyfe, Neale, Treloar, Martin, Coniglio and M Crouch. Think Merrett just behind that group
Before supercoach opened, i was huge on him, was in my starting side and thought he was going to have a mini breakout due to the attention being drawn to Shiel. But there are a few other options around his price in Crouch, Brayshaw, Bont and Dusty. PLus his lacklustre preseason has no doubt scared people off. I wanted to start him but not sure how i feel about 3 of my 5 mid premos being sub 570k, and would rather go for the tried and trusted premos of Cripps, Oliver and Fyfe. Am definitely targetting him around the byes if hes scoring well enough
Locked and loaded at M5 in the Destroyers Derek. He should kill it this year.
I think 2 weeks in a moon boot scared everyone away
He had a rough start to year with a head knock.
After the byes was the third highest midfield with 113,9
Jogged around for 30 mins in JLT1. Missed first quarter JLT2, came out and had 14 touches in 14 minutes in second quarter and then took it easy.
Shiel must make it easier for him this year
Merrett might be a little less inside this year, does that effect his scoring?
Read his post above, had a head knock early, affected him the early part of the season. Absolutely dominated post bye as Derek said, no 3 mid averaging 113.
You’re getting him at a discount due to his compromised start to last season.
@Lazza
On that basis Jack Riewoldt should be your F1.
Merrett will not out perform any of those starting as the Top 10, let alone Top 5. He just does not have their talent.
He will also be in a bottom 8 team.
2016 Merrett was the 10th ranked mid, 2017 the 11th ranked mid. Last year averaged those numbers during the 2nd half of the season.
What's not to like about him at his price? 2.5 out of the last 3 seasons he's been a top 10 mid
Hey Derek, Merrett wasn’t in the top 25 averages last year. Even Heppell out performed him. Can’t see him leapfrogging the top 15 and he has a few coming up behind him in Steele, BCrouch, Viney, JOM, Brayshaw. There is better value..
I think his terrible form in JLT hasn’t helped. I had him b4 JLT started but not anymore. Problem at his price is Sloane, Martin and even Crouch(slightly more) have all impressed and are similar priced.
Watched him closely in the JLT's.
Looks unfit and not a great idea to pick players on a limited PS imo
Gun. It was him or M Crouch for me Derek and I've given the nod to Matty just
Can someone please direct me to the source that says scrimshaw is in doubt? Thought he would be a certainty given their team.
Can't remember where I saw it Brn but Clarko said the other day, he still needs some conditioning work.
Most recent things I've read suggest he'll start though.
The Hawks are missing a few due to injury, but that will open the door for James Cousins and Jack Scrimshaw to stake a claim in Alastair Clarkson’s side. Clarkson suggested Scrimshaw was on the cusp on selection, but he could make way for someone like Dylan Moore.
Saw this bit in the fox sports article…

Exactly as Russty said – more conditioning. Was on HS site but can't remember under which heading.

Link has to be approved but go to the scelites page on twitter and they have a video from clarko 21 hours ago
He's playing
Saw that Wines is 2-3 weeks away. His return seems to be drifting a bit. At one stage he was touch and go on Round 1. It was this Round 2 return that really had me spooked. If it meant a Petrucelle or Parker onfield, I saw a good advantage not picking him. Maybe he’s coming back to being a reasonable pick.
Why does my posts all of a sudden need to be approved? I can post small responses but when i try to write a detailed reponse to derek's post about Merrett above, it needs to be approved?
Think if it has a link
Westhoff or Petracca?
Hoff
Hoff's pretty reliable Tommy, Petracca isn't yet.
Go The Hoff!
Can anyone please verify something for me.
During the season I know that if you make a trade after the first game of the round has started it can't be reversed (I have been caught out before). Is this the same for round 1 or can you reverse trades because there are unlimited trades for the first round? Obviously you can't trade players once they have played.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Yeah. I am pretty sure that's the way it is. My brain is just too frazzled when we are only 2 days away.
Trades are unlimited during round 1 as technically the player selected has never played a game until they are locked in (when the team plays)
I am seriously torn between Brad Crouch and Tom Rockliff at M6. Both not the most durable characters, both similarly priced, and both seriously good midfielders. I have room for only one. I am leaning towards Rocky, purely because he has had a great pre season campaign and has a seriously high point scoring ceiling. Thoughts?
Hey Hawk, out of those 2 I'd go for Crouch just because he's in a much better team that could have a real crack at it this year…plus I think IF he stays fit, he's more likely to be more reliable than Rocky who can post wild scores, huge one week and crud the next.
Plus Crouch is still only 25.
I agree with Rusty. I'm a Port man and I feel like Crouch will be more consistent than Rocky, particularly when Wines comes back. Both aren't very durable but Crouch has youth on his side at least. He will be eager to prove himself alongside his brother in a strong Crows outfit this year.
Agree with Russty and Dan.
Have you got Libba Hawk? I's go him before Rocky or Crouch at his price
He has all 3 NL….I tried a side leaving Libba out but I think he's just too good for value this year.
Yeah cool. In that case I agree with you and it would be Crouch ahead of Rocky
The first handful of rookies have been named to start R1.
Zac Butters
Xavier Duursma
Willem Drew
Connor Rozee
Bailey Smith
Chris Burgess
Jack Lukosius
Does that mean King (Gold Coast) won't play Lazza? Not that I want him, I'm just keeping track of their defenders to make a call on Collins
King wasn’t mentioned, and I’d assume he would have been called out given the other 2 have been. Though they don’t play till Sunday, and the squad is yet to be announced..
Hey community, I'm in a bit of a dilemma here, your opinion would be appreciated.
my two options are:
grundy, brodie smith and Collins in def
or
goldy, harris Andrews and a cheaper rookie than Collins
I really like Andrews as a pod but feel like grundy is necessary. what are you're thoughts?
I'd wait and see on Andrews if he's gonna be playing fwd at times this year, obviously Grundy is better than Goldy, and Collins will play every week so I'd say option 1.
yeah didn't realise there was a potential for him going forward this year, cheers rusty
No worries greg, there was talk about it and he was even training in the fwd group, but that being said, Gardiner should be there for round 1, and Adams could be in there in 2 weeks so it's really up in the air at the moment.
B.Crouch or Rockliff or neither of them and stick with M.Crouch at M5 ? TIA, just looking at maybe boosting my FWDs due to the lack of Rooks
Don’t like either personally but have gone libba myself. Take a look at m crouches stats pre and post byes, usually goes berserk after the bye so I’m gonna target him then
Who would you be boosting to in your fwd line Dbb?…and who would be going out?…do you have Libba in your side already, I'd say stick with Matt, but if you had to pick of the 2,…Brad Crouch.
Hi Mate,
I have been trying to figure out a way to get Rocky in. Can't. But he looks fit and is a beast at his best. I get the feeling I will regret it when he starts pumping out 150s. Despite his injury history I also reckon he is a better bet to stay on the park this year than Crouch.
Really getting excited, gonna be a crazy start, LOL
Yeah me too, how's your side looking Hawk, are you all squared away yet?
Yeah think i set Russty, maybe one or two moves? We'll see haha
Walsh or Cousins is a question im trying to answer atm
Reckon Walsh has the higher scoring potential and better job security.
But he might get smashed around a bit where as Cousins is a little more hardened, might affect Walsh?
Mate, if you don't think Wash is ready for AFL, just look at what he did in his intra-club match and then his 2 JLT's, he starred and made great decisions, I reckon that'll continue through the year, just my opinion though. He wants it all and he wants it now 🙂
Hahaha, i know all of that, wondering if teams will put a bit of time into him, like collinwood did to Watts,
Thoughts?

Scrimshaw to the bench for Hore or bring in Collins from Suns. Clarkson mentioned this week he will most likely play only a handful of game this year. Hasnt impressed this preseason either. Walters is very inconsistent also. Probably could bring in Dahlhaus, Dunkley or Lobb even for the forward line at a better price.
