You want JLT reviews and player previews? You can find them all here!
Jack Viney didn’t play in this game, but his return makes Melbourne’s prospects all the more exciting. Check out his player preview here
Gold Coast vs Western Bulldogs
Is Josh Dunkley a slam dunk for Supercoach this year? Just the 18 disposals and 5 tackles against the Suns, if you’re not sure go take a look at his player preview here
Anthony Miles is looking to establish himself at the Suns and he certainly showed his potential with 21 disposals and 7 clearances in just over half a game with 55% ToG. Check out his player preview here
Just a lazy 26 disposals and a goal for Jarryd Lyons in his first game at his new club. Will Lyons be roaring in 2019? Check out his player preview here
Dayne Zorko has a bit more help in the midfield this year, so will he still be a relevant Supercoach option in 2019? He had 20 disposals, 5 clearances and a goal against the Hawks, do don’t count him out yet! His player preview can be found here
Tim Taranto just busted out 33 disposals here. Is it just some pre-season luck or a sign of things to come? See his player preview here
Is Matt Crouch the go-to Crouch in Supercoach in 2019 over his brother Brad? It might be a hard question to answer considering they were #1 and #2 at the Crows for disposals against Port, so go look at Matt’s player preview here
There’s plenty of opportunities available at Port and Ryan Burton is one of the men looking to take advantage! 17 disposals in 64% ToG shows he may just be making the most of it, his player preview can be found here
Maybe not the signs you want to see from a defender costing $472K, Jimmy Webster had just the 15 disposals against North. It’s just one practice match though, so don’t write him off before giving his player preview a gander here
Todd Goldstein is shaping up as a very temping R2 option. He’s certainly making a case for himself with 19 disposals and 33 hitouts from 62% ToG against the Saints! Check out his player preview here
Mitch Duncan might not have been in many teams, but after his 29 disposals against the Eagles that might all change! Look for his player preview here
A name not spoken by many when it comes to Supercoach options in defence, but Tom Stewart could be an option that flies under the radar. 23 disposals, 9 marks and 6 rebound 50’s against the Eagles could get a few more people speaking his name. His player preview can be found here
Dylan Shiel had just 15 touches in this one, but at only 51% ToG there’s plenty of room for improvement. Check out his player preview here
Patch loves Zach Merret, but do you love him enough to put him in your Supercoach side? He had 7 disposals with only 36% ToG, so expect to see those stats go UP! Take a gander and Merretts player preview here

james cousins for hawks, he'll take titches spot now especially with Chad in doubt, and his role should allow him to get consistent 70+ scores, also looked a nice player against Brisbane

Love your work again this year Barron. Any chance there is a Bye Planning spreadsheet floating around this year?
Appreciate your work!
Barron Von Crow · 04/03/2019 at 21:54
We may have something coming out soon that'll scratch that itch, Mitch.

How many mid price players can we take in our backline this season? Looks to be serious value. How’s everybody structuring there defence/forward lines… I’m looking at DEF: 2-2-1 but flirted with 1-4-1 .
FWD: 3-0-3
magic mullet · 05/03/2019 at 10:29
assuming you mean promo-mid pricer-rookie, I'm running a 1-3-2 in the backline but it'll depend on mill's role and i might run 1 or 2 midpricers up forward if there aren't any decent promos other than danger and Heeney
JohnDJ59 · 05/03/2019 at 12:32
Def: 1-3-2 but thinking about 0-4-2 Fwd: 3-0-3 but thinking about 3-1-2.
Corey · 05/03/2019 at 16:02
FWD: 3-0-3 Dangerfield, Heeney, Dunkley, Setterfield, Parker, Bolta
DEF: 2-2-2 Lloyd, Laird, Z.Williams, Roberton, Quaynor, Clark
JohnDJ59 · 05/03/2019 at 17:14
I'd be taking Dunkley out.
SC_Donkey · 06/03/2019 at 16:17
Im set on running with these structure this year.
Def: Laird, Simmo, Williams, Roberton (2-2-2)
Mid: Cripps, Oliver, Neale, Dusty
B.Crouch*(Toranto), Libba, Cousins, Constable(4-2-2)
Ruck: Set and forget.
Fwd: Danger, Smith, Heeney (3-0-3)
11 keepers
2 Possible Keepers (High Mid-price)
2 Stepping Stones (Low Mid-price)
redherringfc · 06/03/2019 at 17:03
I currently have 1-4-1 in the back line, 3-2-3 in the mids and 3-2-1 in the forwards.
That’s 8 mid priced players in total, which is about 8 more than last year.
It’s too many, but I probably won’t swap any out until the teams drop for round 1. I definitely want at least one more premo in the mids.
Josh · 06/03/2019 at 17:48
My structure this season in
Def 2/3/1 mid 4/1/3 fwd 2/2/2 and that’s with Grundy and Goldie in the ruck
PizzaSafety · 07/03/2019 at 00:53
I’m doing 1-2-5, 4-1-6, 2-0-1, 4-0-4 (Premiums, midpricer, rookie) The midpricers are Witherden, Williams and Taranto
JEL · 07/03/2019 at 19:09
Def: 1-4-1
Mid: 4-1-3
Ruck: 2-0-0
Fwd: 3-0-3
Seems to be some promising midpricers in Def, at least that's what I'm telling myself.
Casper · 08/03/2019 at 11:51
Still playing around with it but so far
DEF 1-3-2
MID 5-1-2
FWD 3-0-3

I am running with DEF 2 2 2 –mids 5 0 3 FWDS 2 0 4 as close as i can to low mid price set up as possible Def is where you need some Midpricers/. The problem this year will be getting to full prem and that will take longer this year
JohnDJ59 · 06/03/2019 at 15:23
Interested in your four rookies in the fwd line Neil, I'm finding it hard to get more than four to five total. My five are Setterfield, Drew, Balta, Burgess, Parker, not sure I would want to have to depend on four of them on field in my team.
Robbomber · 07/03/2019 at 19:58
Robbomber considering Pruess in r2 with Grundy
Thoughtt
DavidC · 08/03/2019 at 08:06
Pruess has been dropped for JLT2.
Russty_ · 10/03/2019 at 21:42
And he's now injured.
J-Rhod · 09/03/2019 at 14:42
Rockliff looks fit, the way his covering the ground, is shade of a few years ago.. the bastard is sucking me in lol
Bells.com · 09/03/2019 at 19:07
Very hard to ignore. I've got two spots and Tossing up btwn Rocky, Miles, Libba and Walsh – Will see how Miles goes tomorrow against the big Sydney mids. Thinking it might be Rocky (potential keeper) and Walsh (if he's going to average 80-90 that's a decent cash earner and points not far off compared to Miles.
J-Rhod · 10/03/2019 at 19:01
I think miles is a trap, Libba i'm looking a his DE% n tackles, over the 2 Jlt games.. but rocky is a lock for me now
FearTheBeard · 11/03/2019 at 14:51
Gday community!
Looking for a few peoples opinions on my squad please.
Just pick it apart.
So far :
Laird, Williams, B Smith, Roberton (depending on what happens), Scrimshaw, Hore, Burgess, Jones
Macrae, Cripps, Coniglio, Dusty, Rocky, Libba, Cousins, Walsh, Butters, Constable, Scott
Grundy, Gawn, Nuffnuff
Danger, Heeney, Boak, Setterfield, Drew, Petruccelle, Parker, Balta
I was tossing up Crouch/Viney/Fyfe though no games for Fyfe/Viney make me nervous (could still switch Congilio to Fyfe as I always have him to be honet)
Crouch/Rocky/Libba are my toss ups and I just don't like the Crows lol.
G-Man · 11/03/2019 at 18:34
Thoughts on Vandenberg folks? His pre-season has been uninterrupted, 16 tackles last JLT and is a curious POD!!
Hilts · 16/03/2019 at 12:54
I’ve put him in Think he will get plenty of contested football cheap option for forward
Jase · 12/03/2019 at 12:34
Looking for a competitive supercoach league – Last Spot 700221. 9 Spots
Simon · 12/03/2019 at 16:39
Are you doing cheat sheets again this year?
Adrian · 13/03/2019 at 08:18
Thoughts on my squad so far?
Lloyd, Laird, B.Williams, Roberton, Scrimshaw, Clark, Burgess, Hore
Cripps, Fyfe, M.Crouch, Merret, Sheed, Walsh, B.Smith, Duursma, Scott, Atkins, Gibbons
Gawn, Jacobs, Bines
Danger, Heeney, Dunkley, Billings, Setterfield, Drew, Balta, Petruccelle
Sam_01 · 13/03/2019 at 17:03
Jacobs sucks
James Sykes · 13/03/2019 at 15:33
Hi guys.
I have a dilemma.
Fyfe and O'Meara or M Crouch and Angus Brayshaw.
Cheers lads.
Russty_ · 13/03/2019 at 19:15
Option 2 looks good to me James, Fyfe and O'Meara both injury risks.
Kirsty · 14/03/2019 at 15:18
Hi All
What's your opinion on the better option
Simpson, Coniglio & Oliver or Whitfield, Pendles & Macrae
Will · 14/03/2019 at 16:51
I find it interesting that everyone is calling Darcy Moore injury prone but are happy to pick Libba. After he has done two ACL's can you really say Libba is less of an injury risk that Darcy Moore ??
Sharkmove_King · 14/03/2019 at 18:20
Yeah also people who are choosing Ridley over Moore because he is injury prone
But Ridley played 3 games and was then injured. Sounds like Moore's had more injuries just because he has been around longer
