It’s the last week of the home and away season and that also means it’s the last week of Supercoach Finals. Some of you may be in the Grand Final of your leagues, others will be pushing purely for rank, whatever way you’re going I wish you the best of luck in the final round. We’ll take another quick look at what happened in the state leagues, but more of a broader look this week and not just rookies.

Around the Grounds

Hi all. In my league GF and have1 trade and $121K to spend. Had hoped to go Hurley to Menegola via DPP though ~ $1 K short, so love advice on which option is best…..

Hurley to Hawkins (via DPP), or
McLean (playing Tiges) to Menegola or Hawkins

Thanks all for advice throughout the year. Always really helpful

If you use the DPP swing, who replaces Hurley onfield in defence and who gets pushed to the bench on the forward line?

Put up full team

George S

Hi Derek.
Tom McD moves from forward to defence, replaced by Hawkins in forward line in option 1 above.

Hey George, yeah could pay off, Hurley to Hawkins..could also backfire but you never know if you don't have a go!…Hurley has posted average scores last 5 games so could be tired and at least Hawk can go big if he kicks a bag.

Well done BVC this week and all year.

Nice game back from Williams first up.
Be a nice little addition to the GWS backline come finals time esp if shaw doesnt get back in time.

Gidday community need help in the GF with one trade left and 11K in Bank. Not enough for upgrade but interested if any of you SC guns can advise what is the best use of my final trade ( assuming no late outs from the likes of Buddy or Gray).

Loyde, yeo, Simpson, Laird, TMac, A Kennedy.

Titch, Danger, Cripps, Oliver, Zerrett, Cogs, Dusty, JPK

Gawn, Grundy

Menegola, Buddy, D Smith, R Gray, Heeney, McClean (westhoff)

If Westhoff scores OK I plan to
Loop McLean into Mid using Spargo the loop McLean with JPK ( if needed)

Love to hear other suggestions and what to do with my trade. I was thinking Harmes to one of the fwds. Thoughts???

Groin injuries don't just disappear in one week, I'd be looking to offload Buddy to the best you can afford.

If he doesnt play this week (a bit of habit of his in SC finals) think he may make a few more "no buddy way" lists.

Yeah Trig, reckon he'll be on mine…starting to get too old next year, better off going for up and coming youth.
