THE STANDING ROOM Round 9
This is more of a sitting room this week.
We’re all sort of sat here, in stunned silence, unsure of what exactly is going on.
It’s a stunning performance from Meghan Markle on debut. She’s pulled out a 300 point debut, with seasoned veteran Queenie having a stinker and… I’ll just drop it. I don’t know anything about the royals, and the sooner we can elect Jack Macrae as our head of state the better.
I’m not just saying that because I picked him out at the start of the season as a top eight mid when most scoffed at me. I thought top eight was pushing it. I didn’t quite expect… well, this.
Jack Macrae has a three round average of 174. #Supercoach

This will be a round of two scores: those who captained Macrae who are in line for a big one, and those who didn’t – and subsequently aren’t.
A lot of guns stinking it up this week – Gray, Coniglio, Menegola, Gablett, Fyfe – Nat mate, what’s going on here? – and, of course, it wouldn’t be a standing room without shouting at Jack Billings.
Even wunderkid Tim Kelly had a poor round, which is rough considering the performances he’s put in so far this season, but it stings a little bit more with Holman’s 120 on the bench, tantalisingly out of reach.
Aside from Holma, The Bud is back and he’s also BACK, Jake Lloyd is having a blinder, and so begins the two week contemplation of if we go to Rockliff.
