awseome jock

Russty_ · 04/07/2017 at 17:17

I've got Witts and Goldy…not sure whether or not to get Gawn, or if it's even necessary? He hasn't shown that much yet.

Wait another week..or not at all?

    SC_Kev7 · 04/07/2017 at 17:33

Great take from Stirsly on Gawn in BvC rookie scouting report comments. Dees have played him a good 10-15% less TOG than usual. His 96 this week came off a 6 day break.

He's just warming up Big Maxy imo. Injury game aside he's averaging 112 from 4 games and is 130k less than what he started

      TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 17:42

go this week or wait a week ?
      whats your call Kev?

        SC_Kev7 · 04/07/2017 at 18:33

I'm snagging him this week, Trig. A complicated move of swings that also involves getting Darcy, who I plan to use for a quick and dirty 150-200k that will fund my final upgrade.

      wightyswarriors · 04/07/2017 at 17:49

So I have ryder and nank…trade one for gawn ?

        TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 17:53

If u have an under performing fwd switch with Ryder and trade them to Gawn

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 17:39

one I'm tossing up this week as well rusty
I've got Kruez and Witts_Witts to Gawn for $40k you would think would be a no brainer but witts punched out another ton on the weekend and is going along at 95 which is very reasonable for a R2
Probably as cheap as Gawn is gonna get though hasnt set the world on fire yet but I feel has another gear as his TOG has been limited first two games back.
95 b/e up against kreuz so if scores a 110 will probably go up $10k.
witts b/e 81 scores another ton goes up $10k
i dunno might be worth waiting a week see how the beard goes against Kruez.
    really dunno on this one.

      Russty_ · 04/07/2017 at 17:53

Yeah agree cheers Trigga…might be worth waiting a week to see how the reduced beard goes, he shouldn't go up all that much even if he does well.

    TigerNut · 04/07/2017 at 18:10

I'm in same boat. Wait another week I think and re-assess

    Swans2012 · 04/07/2017 at 19:17

I think I'm going this week……I have loved witts but he shows no capacity to throw down those 130+'s that we loved from gawn last year, The smarter move is probably to wait, but I'm sick of waiting this year

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 20:23

Excellent question Russty. Is Gawn threatening to pump out a huge score? Not from what I have seen. Will he get injured again? For mine you only go to someone you know will score much higher. Wait a week and reassess.

Mattyboy · 04/07/2017 at 17:24

How much is a trade worth in $$$ this time of the year?

I can make $130K for 1 trade is it worth it?

Have 10 trade left.

    Mattyboy · 04/07/2017 at 17:24

oops 8 after this week 🙂

      Randomcliche · 04/07/2017 at 21:10

They are exponentially more valuable he says with 2 trades left.

    Dean · 07/07/2017 at 16:37

With 8 trades left after round 16 your doing well.

Typically a trade is worth about $150k – However with 8 trades left you can afford to trade.

Winter · 04/07/2017 at 17:25

Trade out Newman or Shaw for Lloyd ?????

    Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 18:26

    Shaw definitely

Steeeve · 04/07/2017 at 17:30

If you told me before round 1 I'd be trading Hannan straight to Gawn id have been pretty rapt with that.

And I am.

    Russty_ · 04/07/2017 at 17:54

    Good trade!!

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:35

Usually a "straight" trade/swap would be with little or no extra cash needed. Considering you will need $190k to make it happen I'm not sure I agree with your terminology. But it's a great trade nonetheless

      Steeeve · 05/07/2017 at 00:00

Yeah fair enough. I did not have to paint the fence I made the move using one trade plus warchest, is what I meant.

Deeboss · 04/07/2017 at 18:09

Hannan OUT Gawn IN
Shaw OUT Witherden IN

4 Trades left, $499K in the kitty…

    Tyruddanaut · 04/07/2017 at 18:13

If you've got that little of trades and that high of money do t get Witherden but get a good premo defender

      Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 18:31

        Deeboss · 04/07/2017 at 18:53

I'm swinging Lloyd to DEF and Witherden in the MID, my backline is done…. Doch, Roberton, Laird, Adams, Hibberd, Lloyd. EMG Ryan, Hibberd.

    GloryDays90 · 05/07/2017 at 12:19

Dont bother with the cash. You dont need it. Get in some Premo calibre players

Steeeve · 04/07/2017 at 18:39

Oh boy just saw Eddy is a chance for Port this week. Terrible news for those planning to loophole Greenwood.

    Defying_Madness · 04/07/2017 at 18:58

Just saw this. Bad news for me

    Randomcliche · 04/07/2017 at 21:15

First JDC now Eddy, we need a special section in the supercoach scouting report for floating donut munching.

hedski · 04/07/2017 at 18:40

Nice debut Lek, sweet as always Jock.
I'm with Kev, Roo cull this week he's falling apart, Yeo in.

    LEKD0G · 04/07/2017 at 21:56

    Thanks maaaaate

matthewspangher · 04/07/2017 at 18:41

whos a better duo to have, gawn and nank, or grundy and toby greene? cheers

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 12:43

Gawn and Nank. Greene is a 10 on the floggometer….I pray to the supercoach gods each year there are enough viable alternatives forward to not have to run him. I pray that Lids gets his calf right to steal Greene's points 😛

      jez_m · 05/07/2017 at 15:40

Just because he's a flog doesn't mean he's not a good SuperCoach player.

        BlueNath · 05/07/2017 at 18:27

It's crazy, but I can't select Green for the same reason – flog

          Defying_Madness · 05/07/2017 at 18:31

We all chose Adams willingly though?

    Seeker · 05/07/2017 at 14:56

Greene hasn't trained this week after being a late out last weekend and Foxfooty are reporting he's an unlikely starter for this round, too.

TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 18:47

Bugg squashed.
6 weeks.

    Russty_ · 04/07/2017 at 18:54

    Much deserved.

    hedski · 04/07/2017 at 19:10

6 down to 5 I thought would have been fair, less force in the hit than Bashers.

      Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 20:25

Dog act especially as it was four minutes into the game. Deserved 6.

    JohndJames · 04/07/2017 at 23:40

So the next player, whoever he is that hits his opponent in the head and pleads guilty, better get six as well.No star treatment in other words, where they get less weeks because they are a name player.

      TRIGGA_HAPPY · 05/07/2017 at 09:02

      Yep no favors.
If you punch someone in the head when they are not looking no mater who.you r that is a pretty low act and should get at least a six week holiday.

rex · 04/07/2017 at 18:55

Hannan to Yeo
SPP to Dusty
???? any ideas which will be better in the long run

    redherringfc · 04/07/2017 at 19:10

    Dusty, by a mile.

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 20:26

    Dusty is a game changer.

Stirlsy · 04/07/2017 at 19:15

Great show Jock and LEK
But how do i sleep with no bed time story???

    hedski · 04/07/2017 at 19:48

    Pyanmanese bedtime story 2.0

    The boy who cried wolf….

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:40

Images of Lekdog with no shirt, no one will be getting any sleep tonight

Mitch · 04/07/2017 at 19:17

Simpson/rance/laird/hibberd/newman/jj (ryan, scharanberg)

Zorko, neale, oliver, bont, sloane, r. Gray, fyfe, s selwood (spp, mountford, cousins)

Grundy, witts (strnadica)

Yeo, heeney, macrae, kennedy, dahlhaus, lynch (greenwood, bolton)

6 trades 181k

Was thinking scharanberg to witherden and spp to cripps or dusty which leaves me with my only rookie as newman. Should i prioritise newman over spp so i can move scooter to m9?

    SC adviser · 04/07/2017 at 19:57

    Only 6 trades left.

jeez, it will be very tough to save that side.

      Mitch · 04/07/2017 at 20:05

First year sc, plenty of lessons learnt

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:05

I think you need to be very careful with your trades. schaz should be back this week or next… hold. I would do SPP to Witherden. Then in two weeks swap Selwood for his brother. That leave you with 4 trades with 4 rounds to go and some cash to splash too

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 20:28

I would be inclined to go Cousins to Witherden and leave it at that.

      davo · 04/07/2017 at 20:33

I would just upgrade selwood to a premium using the money in the bank and hold on to remaining trades for injury

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 12:35

No Danger, no Doc, (and Adams most weeks) its got be tough starting without them against the better teams…..but I'm sure you know that…. Newman, Scooter, Witts and perhaps JJ are ones that perhaps need work (there would be debate around that…). But with 6 trades left….I'd be looking at setting up a DPP mid/def swing set with Taylor Adams, he is cheap now, might stay that way for 2 more weeks, but not much longer. It'll only cost 110k to do it this week. SPP to Adams. Then when injury strikes a premo down back, or after a rookie BE is close to their average, just go Ryan or Scharanberg to Junker, swing Adams in to Def.

I'd also look at Witts to Gawn, there is upside there if he ups his game time…. very little downside risk.

That leaves 3 trades left, look at Scooter to Rocky/Jelwood/Danger(lol) with the cash from (Ryan/Scharanberg downgrade). Then loop the flower out of it for the rest of the season and hope there are no more than 2 season ending LTIs. (You can cover a 3-4 week injury with Greenwood/JJ/Newman etc).

dane · 04/07/2017 at 19:36

i have 5 trades left,
is it worth bringing in witherdern to bank some cash.
then in a week trade greenwood – gawn, so that i can bench either nankervis/higgins as F6,F7

leaving me with 3 trades left.

ranked 600th overall

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 19:58

It's super risky, but you are ranked so highly I think you needs to hang your balls out there and go for it!

    Swans2012 · 04/07/2017 at 20:04

Logical, builds cover and scoring potential

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 20:07

Mate being that close to the pinnacle what have you got to loose?
    Go hard or go home
    Best of luck.
Would think most up the top end would be low on trades

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 11:36

    Do it!
    Yours sincerely

    TheGreatBozza · 05/07/2017 at 12:37

Do it Dane! As the others have said it's a risk you need to take to maintain your high ranking. As good as Greenwood as been, Gawn is an elite of the game

    InTheNickofTime · 06/07/2017 at 10:08

Honestly I would bring in Kreisler instead if you're able and trade one of of the others as they're not performing quite as well, Greenwood has proven himself much more reliable and has a lot more cash to make.

      InTheNickofTime · 06/07/2017 at 10:09

Jess · 04/07/2017 at 19:55

10 Trades 50K
DEF: Doch, Shaw, Adams, Tuohy, Newmann, Hibberd (Melb) (Ryan, Hibberd – Nth)
MID: Danger, Pendles, Neale, Fyfe, JPK, Merrett, Bont, Pepper (S Selwood, Cousins, Berry)
RUCK: Sandi, Martin (Strnadica)
FWD: Dahl, Nank, Macrae, Lynch, Buddy, Greenwood (Parsons, Eddy)
Thoughts for this week?

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:08

Sandy to Gawn a no brainer. Pepper to Witherden to help with the extra cash to make it happen

      Jess · 04/07/2017 at 20:37

You reckon Pepper or Berry to Witherden?

        BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:46

Personally, I think pepper pig out. Berry still likely to go up more $ wise (not that that's important now) and has DPP!! DPP will be very useful when injuries/restings happen

          Jess · 04/07/2017 at 21:00

Pepper Pig BE is 66 and Berry 40.
          Witherden is the DPP too.

    Redgumwon · 04/07/2017 at 21:12

Why not trade S Selwood? He's rather injury prone and Pepper & Berry may make you a little more cash?

FiL · 04/07/2017 at 20:11

Hi guys, I went with a midprice madness team this year and it has worked out really well. Ranked about $5k but I feel like I'm in a better position than I've ever been at the same point of the season. Pay attention to my bench! Would love to know your thoughts.

Backs: Docherty, Adams, Laird, Howe, Lloyd, Shaw (Touhy, Witherden)
Mids: Dangefield, T Mitchell, Pendlebury, Oliver, Murphy, M Crouch, Hannebery, Fyfe (Greenwood, Witherden, C Brown)
Rucks: Gawn, Goldy (Strnadica)
Fwds: Yeo, Dahlhaus, Buddy, Ryder, Nank, Wingard (Higgins, Eddy).

I have five trades left after this round and $179,000 in the kitty. WIll go Greenwood to Joel Selwood soon! After that hold trades (although I have good cover all round so not quite as important).

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:27

Impressive. Especially as you have been able to select Witherden twice!!

      Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:35

Maybe he can fit another Docherty in

        FiL · 05/07/2017 at 00:02

I wish! Witherden is actually on the mid bench. McNeice is at D8.

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 12:14

With a team like that I'd hope your rank was a bit higher…..but as for building a team for league finals job well done. Similar strategy to mine for what its worth….full premo +2 or more starting midpriced madness… .http://imgur.com/S12Nf3S cheers

      FiL · 05/07/2017 at 18:34

Yeah I was hoping to be right up there in the rankings and then just hold on as best I could, assuming I would miss out on some of the very top line premos. But oh well. You have to remember all the burn men along the way who underperformed and kept me from really doing well. Jaeger, Roughy, Swallow, Kade Kolo, Callum Mills. Had all of em to start with.
Luckily Murphy and Oliver and a few others have proven to be keepers.
I didn't start with Docherty, Laird, Adams, Yeo, Gawn, Goldy, Pendles or Hannebery so their scores have only helped me more recently.

Thinking I will do well in league finals by having premo bench loophole options on every line — Touhy, Fyfe and Higgins

    Defying_Madness · 05/07/2017 at 18:45

Consider getting Junker in your team over Witherden. Would allow you to loophole your bench players in case they score better than your premos.

Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 20:33

Big decision to make so suggestions would be helpful…. ranked 146 but only with 4 trades left.

Do i trade Scooter to Dusty and SPP to Witherden and hang the gonads on the line or keep Scooter and hang on.

    BlueNath · 04/07/2017 at 20:42

If you do the trades you have a chance to cover yourself in glory. Or you can be conservative now and finish a respectable 500-1000th position. I know what a top gun would do

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 04/07/2017 at 20:50

C'mon topgun take a ride into the danger zone!
    Gr8 trades bang bang
I bet you didn't get your rank by being conservative so why start now? Worked a treat so far.
    follow your gut.
    Best of luck.

    Bad_News_Brown · 04/07/2017 at 21:22

Use your ballbags and show some big time domination – make the trade – Dusty is a lock

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 22:14

Thanks guys. My heart says you're here forge into that top 100; my head says wtf are you thinking. Haha.

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:33

Is Scooter and SPP at M8 and M9?

I'm not sure about Scooters injury. If he is playing, I would be tempted to hold trades for now. Still long way to go. Loop them and see how you go for a few weeks, it might cost you a few points per week (or not), but only having 2 trades with 7 weeks to go, I just know what will happen.

      Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 23:57

Yep Scooter at M8 and SPP at M9. Have been looping Greenwood or SPP depending on whether I need Greenwood forward or midfield. Does look good with Dusty, Danger, Neale, Bont, Pendles, Kennedy, Treloar and Oliver though. It is a tough call.

    KrazeeEyezK1lla · 05/07/2017 at 08:48

no brainer. just think, the teams above you are probably doing similar trades this week to strengthen their teams

    Sham · 05/07/2017 at 10:50

That's sounds like a good trade to me not as much risk as you think

bdog · 04/07/2017 at 20:39

Hey i have 4 trades left 20k in bank are there any trades you would do this week or next?

DEF S. Docherty T. Adams R. Laird J. Lloyd N. Newman M Hibberd (J. Johannisen Scharenberg )
MID Dangerfield T Mitchell Pendlebury Bontempelli Sloane Oliver Kelly J Selwood ( Greenwood Witherden Hibberd)
RUC Grundy Gawn (Strnadica)
FOR Dahlhaus Macrae Heeney Greene Wingard Yeo ( Nankervis Ainsworth)

Thanks for Reading

    bdog · 04/07/2017 at 20:45

Also I have already made one trade going Berry to Gawn This week

      Bad_News_Brown · 04/07/2017 at 21:19

nice team brother. I'd hold those 4 trades for when you need em.

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:25

A team like that would have you in the top 10 overall and valued at about $15mil………hmmmmmmmm

      Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 23:59

Was thinking the same especially with JJ and Nank on the bench. Hmmm indeed.

    Bdog · 05/07/2017 at 06:50

Team is definitely real currently in the 80 hoping to crack the top 20 by seasons end team is valued at 13 and a half mil

    Sham · 05/07/2017 at 10:49

I'd look at trying to turn Sloane or Oliver to dusty if I was you well done you've put together a great looking side

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 11:13

Bloody nice team. Oliver to Rocky after rocky tonnes it up next….nothing right now….

BrownlowBoy · 04/07/2017 at 20:45

Anyone looking for a defensive POD, Hurley is an option.

    Bad_News_Brown · 04/07/2017 at 21:20

Agreed – don't know why these folk don't talk about him, he's more of a lock than a Tui, Robertson or Hibberd imho

      Steeeve · 05/07/2017 at 00:03

      Ah yes Tui. Pyenmanese Touhy.

        sheepluvva · 05/07/2017 at 11:12

        No, Tui Kiwi Beer

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 22:17

    Shhh. I already have him

Hit and run · 04/07/2017 at 20:51

Sandi to Gawn &
Fyfe to either Ward, Parker or Rocky.
6 trades left for mishaps.

    Bad_News_Brown · 04/07/2017 at 21:18

    What's your midfield???

    Randomcliche · 04/07/2017 at 21:20

Maybe rocky with that many left….

    hedski · 04/07/2017 at 21:23

    Parks for sure

    Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 22:18

    Parker and Swans coming good.

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:22

    Hold Fyfe.

Fyfe will score just as well as the others.

Fyfe looked over his injury on weekend, played over 90% TOG and was running well. Had his bounce back. Expect him to finish well.

      Hit and run · 05/07/2017 at 00:19

Derek! I have read your good advice previously. I only have enough cash to upgrade Fyfe to the those three above but now I think I will hold Fyfe and therefore have 7 trades.
If Fyfe flops I'll be barracking against your Hawks even more strongly!
Incidentally, for my family tipping comp. Are the Hawks a chance against the mighty GWS down in freezing Tassie?

        Derek · 05/07/2017 at 10:06

all season there have been "flavors of the week" in the midfield, remember Sloane, Murphy, Rocky, Bont, Kelly, Oliver, Ebert, Zorko, Ross (even Whitfield and Lyons getting a mention this week) were all must haves at some point this year.

also there have been players who you must get rid of Hanners, Treloar, Parker, Ward who people were dumping. now It's fyfe's turn to be added to that list, the others in the dumping list, they are now the must haves………..

        Derek · 05/07/2017 at 10:11

Birchell out this week for the Hawks is a big loss. non-hawk supporters don't understand how important he is to our backline, no coincidence that the hawks had a poor start to the season and he was missing.

The GWS height in their forward line will cause some issues, lets hope it is windy.

The hawks have lost a couple of games in tassie this year, they won't want that to continue, i can see them going very close.

badnewsbrown · 04/07/2017 at 21:15

Peppa Pig to make Tom Lynch at F7 via Greenwood is the mightiest swing which makes Greenwood my M9 – Love it

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:19

Do you have another DPP on your forward line, ie Brown or Bolton?

UpTheLions · 04/07/2017 at 21:27

Nank to darcy for R2 will leave me with 4 trades but also $316k should I go through with it?

    SC_Kev7 · 04/07/2017 at 22:15

Assuming your team is done I don't see the point of having 300k in the bank at this point in the season.

I like Darcy but he's flavour of the month right now. If you have a R/F at R3 I'd pick your weakest fwd to trade out, swing Nank forward and get Darcy in. That way if Darcy begins to run out of steam Nank will be there to save your bacon

    Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:18

Going backwards. Try and upgrade your team.

      B T · 04/07/2017 at 22:37

      Yep, I agree with Derek.

Jordan · 04/07/2017 at 21:28

What's better 4 trades at full premium with witherdon as cover/loophole in defence
5 trades left at full premium with no defence cover (McInnes and smith)

    Bad_News_Brown · 04/07/2017 at 21:33

depends on the rest of your team, the amount of cash you have left, what swings you have, who is your D6 and what the weather is like on the weekend.

It's like asking what's better? a Blue ford or a brown Holden.

      Top Gun · 04/07/2017 at 22:18

      Holden. Lol

      pointschasingdevil · 05/07/2017 at 11:33

Obviously the Ford there's no such thing as a holden They're extinct

Derek · 04/07/2017 at 22:15

Great Casting of the Pod gentlemen.

Best piece of advice from the Podcast for all the young players is worry about the on field rookies first. Luxury trades second, Lekdogs chest hair last.

People should only be thinking about trading out Fyfe, Shaw, Nank, Priddis etc if they don't have any rookies still on their field. Talking about Greenwood, Parsons, Newman, SPP, SSelwood types. They must be upgraded first.

If and when that is done do we look at the sideways and luxury trades.

    H Lee · 04/07/2017 at 22:27

rate that derek! but with the form of newman and greenwood and them still rising in cash, maybe worth doing some sneaking sideways trading if good options are available (and trades permitting)

      Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 22:38

agreed. I would be trading Fyfe before Greenwood.

        Hit and run · 05/07/2017 at 00:08

          Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:34

          Fyfe will out score greenwood

            Dave · 05/07/2017 at 09:44

Greenwood in fwd line is decent though. He doesn't need to outscore fyfe if up fwd. Overall average good. Three round average of 93. Thats up there with some of the top fwds.

I do agree that he's not a keeper, but we only need to save one trade to sideways him to a premium later/soon.

Newman is a mature aged gun and a keeper.

    Leeds17 · 05/07/2017 at 06:26

Sounds crazy Ive been thinking about bringing a rookie on field… Witherden for Newman.

Also a little tempted to bring De Goey in for cover in the mids and forward line, strikes me as a young player like we've seen have a breakout finish to a season before.

Long odds to happen though but under consideration

      Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:35

its nice to have crazy thoughts like that every now and then

    pointschasingdevil · 05/07/2017 at 11:31

what if your onfield rookie is greenwood and you have a hasbeen spud like riewaldt clogging up your forward line?

IntheNickofTime · 04/07/2017 at 22:32

I know it seems obvious, but who out of Priddis and Fyfe would you get rid of first? Priddis thoroughly underwhelming whilst defeats the purpose of a POD, and even though Fyfe is well under his best he's still scraping a semi-acceptable average, as long as he can stay on the park. All of this comes down to a lack of trades, of course. WC have a decent run at Domain for the rest of the season. Thoughts?

    Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 22:38

Priddis first I reckon. He is just looking too slow.

    Northerner · 05/07/2017 at 11:32

Priddis rested last week for General Soreness. He's clearly been carrying something, maybe that back problem he had the op on? I'd wait one more week and see if the rest has helped him. WC are playing a more aggressive pressure brand since the bye which is suited to Priddis when at his best, so hold one more week for mine.

Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 22:33

I want to bring in parker for Fyfe this week fellas but do you think that 5 sydney players onfield is too many?

    KrazeeEyezK1lla · 05/07/2017 at 08:49

I've got Newman, Lloyd, JPK, Heeney and Buddy. has been alright for the most part. swannies on the march. do it

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:38

won't be alot of difference between fyfe and Parker. don't think the trade is worth it

    GloryDays90 · 05/07/2017 at 12:17

He is a great player and could turn into a great POD. You could do a lot worse by going Grey or Wines like a lot of people did a few weeks ago.

Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 22:40

What is everyone's thought on Jarrod Lyons as a serious POD? 5 rd average of 112 and kindly priced at 510k AND in only 0.4% of teams. I know it sounds crazy but could actually be a decent option for the run home.

    Russty_ · 04/07/2017 at 22:57

Better off going for Parker I reckon Finn…$510k, averaging 112 last 3 games.

      Finnius123 · 04/07/2017 at 23:01

surely 5 sydney players is too many though – they can't all get points every game. Buddy, Lloyd, JPK, Newman AND Parker I reckon is just a bridge too far.

        Defying_Madness · 05/07/2017 at 01:06

Yeah I wouldn't recommend too many Swans players. I have Heeney, Buddy, Hanners, JPK and Lloyd and each week one of them spuds it up

    Juzzy · 04/07/2017 at 23:13

    Actually don't mind it Finnius.
A couple of weeks back put him in the mental notes for next year but he keeps backing up.
    Could be a great POD.

    James T · 05/07/2017 at 00:20

Lyons is a great POD but a huge risk. Gold Coast too inconsistent as a team lets him down. I would highly consider Lachy Whitfield instead, much more consistant team in GWS. And also I already have 5 Sydney players in Heeney, Buddy, JPK, Lloyd and Newman.. and I'm still considering Parks hahaha

    Northerner · 05/07/2017 at 11:37

Lyons is becoming their reliable engine and first choice centre bounce mid. Some risk, but I think the PoD makes it attractive. Personally though I prefer Cripps who also has relatively low ownership and this will be the last week to get him before his price is at overs. We know he will become a SC beast of near Danger proportions given the way he finished last year and it looks like he's made up now for his lack of pre season.

Juzzy · 04/07/2017 at 23:10

Hi Community.
I am considering Witherden as a must for cash generation this week. The only logical trade for me(and I have considered them all) is swinging Greenwood fwd and trading out Parsons for him. Cool … but …
I just checked the draw and, barring injury, he will never get a game in my team. I can't loop him at least until round 20.

I shall feel bad telling him in a four or so weeks that he is getting traded out for a cheap dpp, rookie listed kid.

    Chcko · 05/07/2017 at 00:05

    Sob, sob.

      Juzzy · 05/07/2017 at 00:44

      Lol. Not crying Mate.

The point is that anyone looking to trade him in had better check their trades and their loop options.
Those low on trades may be wasting one unless he serves a well thought out purpose.

        Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 00:49

Agreed. There is no purpose for him in my team so I am skipping out on him.

Daniel · 04/07/2017 at 23:51

Going Parsons to Witherden this week, who should I trade out to bring in Gawn out of Newman (D7), Fyfe (M8), Gray (M9), Lynch or Nankervis (F5-6)?

Joshua · 05/07/2017 at 00:15

Scooter to Witherden (extra cash) or Scharenberg to Witherden (loophole him and Shaw at D6)?
Hibberd is in MID if that makes any difference, also only trade I'm looking at making is Greenwood to Jelwood which won't require much cash anyway.

    SC_Kev7 · 05/07/2017 at 07:49

Like the loop option with Hibberd in your mids

Brenton · 05/07/2017 at 00:32

Do I go jack steven or fyfe to either dusty or Neale

    Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 01:23

fyfe to dusty – most points gained

Sonny · 05/07/2017 at 08:13

I have 3 trades left & require 2 upgrades with $0.00 in the bank.

What are your thoughts on the following – madness or genious?

Dangerfield = Jetta
Stewart = Lynch
Stewart = Lloyd

    Dave · 05/07/2017 at 08:24

    Dont be an idiot

      Dave · 05/07/2017 at 08:31

If you are serious, then it would benefit your team a lot more if you hold the trades for the inevitable injuries that will come. Dangerfield is worth two of any other player, so please don't trade him. Let your team mature and you might be able to upgrade players such as greenwood later on using only one trade. All the best

        Sonny · 05/07/2017 at 08:36

        Thanks for advice Dave!

    Daniel · 05/07/2017 at 08:38

This is a masterstorke. Jock should put you on the PODCAST, you could take over Wayno from last season mate.

    Eddy · 05/07/2017 at 08:40

Danger will pull a dick muscle this week

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:49

its nice to think crazy every once in a while.

Just upgrade Stewart (cats) to who ever you can afford and hold the other two trades.

      Sonny · 05/07/2017 at 10:15

      Thanks Derek!

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 11:21

For the love if god….Nooooo! You know its better to upgrade rookies, 1 down 2 up…..but look to pick off Jelwood or Rocky in a few weeks if were serious about selling danger. So you could do 1 sideways and 2 upgrades with your last 3 trades. But those last 2 trades you'll need for injuries….they are coming…

    Jesus' · 05/07/2017 at 15:34

Mate whatever you are smoking, give me some cos my team is gone for the year!!! What a terrible year for coaches. Could use a few frothies.. Cheers. Catch ya later. Im off now. Bye

Tommo09 · 05/07/2017 at 08:19

Fyfe/Scooter for Rocky/Gaz??

    Dave · 05/07/2017 at 08:33

I still rate rocky and expect him to come good

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:47

    Scooter >> Gaz.

    Harry Whodidnot · 05/07/2017 at 14:04

Best 2 trades I have seen so far this week. Nice timing Tommo

      Tommo09 · 05/07/2017 at 15:21

      Which one this week?
The other will be next week

Dave · 05/07/2017 at 08:27

Is it worth trading either Stef Martin or Goldy to get Gawn?
Going for overall and only have 4 trades left.

    Daniel · 05/07/2017 at 08:32

    KrazeeEyezK1lla · 05/07/2017 at 08:51

keep Martin. north no chance of finals, so can see them trying to get experience into younger players toward the end of the year, eg: preuss

      Dave · 05/07/2017 at 08:54

Goldstein up against a sandiless freo this week, but I know gawn will go big for the rest of the year. So yeah goodbye goldy

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:47

only 4 trades. you gotta hold

    INPieman · 05/07/2017 at 10:26

Probably best to save those 4 trades for injuries with 8 weeks to go

    Rakso · 05/07/2017 at 11:31

DEFINATELY hold. Your rucks are ok and even Goldi is averaging 98. I'd be very nervous with only 4 trades because there are bound to be more injuries with the wet weather upon us.

    Mick · 05/07/2017 at 11:34

Hold for a week at least

    GloryDays90 · 05/07/2017 at 12:15

Why would you bother… both a great rucks…

      Dave · 05/07/2017 at 16:36

Because goldy will likely average 98, and i its my bet that gawn will be back to averaging 118 or even more.

      Thats a 20 point increase.

Think i could live with 3 trades for injuries from here on.

murray · 05/07/2017 at 09:32

Anyone contemplating bringing in Darcy as R2!! he certainly appears to be able to man up and compete
would be a ballsy move,
It actually suits my structures and trades for me to do this,
I would trade out hannan for Darcy via Sterndica swing and would create a cash pool of 295K
I would have 7 trades left, it is intended to eventually trade Darcy in 4-5 weeks for a premo ruck when he is ripe for the plucking

any one else considering this move OR am I just crazy to do it let alone think about it?

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 09:46

the only way i would consider it would be if you had Ryder/nank in your forward line at F7, you played Darcy at R3 with E. If he didn't score well you swing Ryder/Nank into R2.

Only problem with that is fremantle have alot of late games so darcy will play after Ryder/Nank most weeks

      murray · 05/07/2017 at 11:14

      Hi Derek
very high risk but I think Darcy could score ok, Lyonhas indicated Darcy will be Frem no. 1 ruck

      murray · 05/07/2017 at 15:28

    pointschasingdevil · 05/07/2017 at 11:26

50% of his scores so far have been below 51. Losers move to have him onfield at this time of year

      murray · 05/07/2017 at 11:31

I am going by his latest score of 99, even if he avearged 80 from here on, that would be worth the punt on a 117k player

    GloryDays90 · 05/07/2017 at 12:14

Higgins to Yeo hands down. Witts is really consistant and if your other ruck is good then you dont need gawn. Plus a lot of people may trade witts out so he could become a POD

    murray · 05/07/2017 at 12:40

finnius your on the same wavelength as me

    Mike · 06/07/2017 at 15:57

    Im doing it

Good luck · 05/07/2017 at 10:40

Hi community, I need your thoughts.
What's the more important trade?
Witts to Gawn or Higgins to Yeo this weekend.
Still have 8 trades and 240k in th pocket.
Cheers in advance.

    Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 11:36

with 8 trades I would be tempted to do both

      Good luck · 05/07/2017 at 12:37

Thanks Finn, yes will def do the other next week. Using the other to get Witherden.

    DacZawson · 05/07/2017 at 11:50

    Higgins to Yeo personally

    Derek · 05/07/2017 at 12:01

considering Higgos theory, gawn every day of the week. You will be getting him cheaper than his starting price, where if you get Yeo, you are paying alot more than most other people.

gawn is way unders, where yeo is full price

      Good luck · 05/07/2017 at 12:44

Cheers Derek, i'm thinking Gawn aswell. Witts has been a nice surprise this season.

    Randomcliche2 · 05/07/2017 at 12:08

Both, but I'd expect Yeo-Higgins to be bigger than Gawn-Witts…..it might take Gawn another 2-4 weeks to really get going, I'm not sold that after a fortnight he's ready to go bang, extra 10% game time and smash out big scores….though they'll come before the year is out… but if you are just focused on leagues and are only doing one for some reason……Gawn…he'll be firing come finals time….

      Good luck · 05/07/2017 at 12:50

My thoughts exactly Random, always nice to get feedback from you and the above. Will trade Yeo in next week, his b/e of 120ish makes sense. Cheers

daz · 05/07/2017 at 11:04

Ive never been so torn on a trade to keep Fyfe or trade, the squad is done with 7 trades left,Haven't sideways once this year, I'm sure many other people feel the same not being able to pull the trigger, Down to Cripps or Mitchell- will take 2 trades which il get witherden is anyone else feel the same? ranked 1k overall top 500 is goal and have a few cash leagues to think about.

    Rakso · 05/07/2017 at 11:26

I know exactly how you feel. I also have 7 trades and am full premium but not as highly rated as you. Unfortunately I did a sideways trade with Hanners after round 2 and although he has dropped off I shouldn't have done it. So that is also at the back of my mind about doing another sideways trade although going to Cripps/Mitchell is upwards.
I am keeping Fyfe for at least one more week because as Derek advised someone yesterday, – scroll back, Fyfe has had a sore sternam but it is on the mend and he is able to achieve more game time.
Sandi's gone but young Darcy will be more than serviceable which will help Fyfe.
I'd get Witherdon = six trades and if Fyfe is ordinary, upgrade to the best available mid.
I'd be a little nervous about having only 5 trades with more hamstrings occurring as Winter sets in.
    I hope this helps.

      Derek · 05/07/2017 at 11:55

i didn't watch the game, but my friend who is fremantle supporter said that he thought fyfe looked very good, just didn't score as well as he played. pointed out that he had over 90% TOG and made 7 tackles, signes that he is over his injury.

i traded him out a few weeks ago, but if i did have him i would be holding. If he is fit he will rise again, quality always does

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 05/07/2017 at 11:52

As per the pod cast u would make that change
Ross Lyin has come our and said Fyfe will play forward for the rest of the year.
I wouldn't even be surprised when Freo can't make the finals they put him in cotton wool and concentrate on contract talks

    Northerner · 05/07/2017 at 15:34

Yes. Fyfe to Cripps for me, but I have cash for one trade as I got Witherden last week because I needed his DPP.

Pointschasingdevil · 05/07/2017 at 11:24

Big scores from the Blues mids this week, assisted by some big defensive outs at the Dee's

Gjlane123 · 05/07/2017 at 11:28

Who to get as last upgrade for full premium team Rance or Adams ? Concerned Adams has never lasted a season before.

    Ratko · 05/07/2017 at 13:00

Negative thinking! Has Adams missed a game this year? If you are negative you wouldn't get the best ruck in the AFL – Kreuzer because you would be thinking that he is bound to break down like he has other years.

      Gjlane123 · 05/07/2017 at 15:21

I like it ! I got Kruezer he is a beast and your right has packed it in very other year I'm full premo and have 5 trades for mishaps and good bench cover I'll go with him !

      KrazeeEyezK1lla · 05/07/2017 at 14:27

but can he cope with the George Hewett tag?

Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 12:30

Thoughts on Sandi to Darcy and leaving him at R3 to loop with nank (possible four times). Means always fielding lynch and not loopholing him, however it means I can turn Daniel Lloyd into any mid that I want (probably Titch or Neale) and slide fyfe to M9. It give me ruck, forward and midfield cover in case of emergencies, and I will probably need it considering I will only have two trades left.

If Fyfe and Nank average about the same from here-on in, which I think they will, my points benefit comes from the assumption that titch will average more than Gawn for the rest of the year. This trade leaves me with extra cover everywhere as well, so it isn't a sideway trade, rather an 'upgrade' of sorts. Its all about PPR and I want to know whether you guys think I will be making up enough points per round (10+) to warrant this.

My other option is the obvious sandi to Gawn.

Here is my team for anyone interested:

Doch, Laird, Howe, Hibberd, Lloyd, Newman (Ryan and Scharenburg)

Danger, Zerrett, Zorko, Bont, JPK, Treloar, Jelwood, Fyfe (Lloyd, Bolton, Cousins)

Yeo, Macrae, Dahl, Buddy, Nank, Lynch (Greenwood, Brown)

    TheGreatBozza · 05/07/2017 at 12:35

It's a ballsy move, especially with two trades left. Go for it, it'll make your run home exciting

      Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 12:41

That's for sure. I am playing for rank and currently about 2500th, so I can't win it and may as well die trying.

    murray · 05/07/2017 at 12:41

what about R2 Finnius. that would be high risk but high reward

      Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 12:48

Well my plan is to loophole with Darcy and Lynch. If I leave Lynch with the E on and he scores lower than what I expect Darcy to get, I can swing nank into the forward line and put Darcy at R2. If Lynch does well then I will back Nankdaddy in, because Nank would be my F6/F7 loop with Lynch anyway.

        murray · 05/07/2017 at 13:50

Each way bet, I like it

TheGreatBozza · 05/07/2017 at 12:30

Gearing up for finals as I'm sitting one game clear in fourth in my cash league (despite scoring the most points this season):
12 trades, 30.7K bank

DEF: Doc, Howe, Laird, Adams, Newman, Shaw (Ryan, Scharenberg)
MID: Danger, Neale, JPK, Pendles, Bont, Fyfe, Treloar, J.Lloyd (Scooter, SPP, Cousins)
R: Grundy, Sandi (Cameron)
FWD: Heeney, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Nank, Lynch, Greenwood (Hannan, Bolton)

My plans for now are:

SPP > Witherden
Sandi > Gawn

Any other moves I should consider instead? I'm holding Scooter pending an injury update as I want that last ounce of value out of him, whereas SPP has maxed out

    Opsadaisy · 05/07/2017 at 14:44

You are looking good. Next week trade in Buzza from Geelong if he does ok again for Hannan and next year call yourself TheGreatBuzza.

    red5 · 05/07/2017 at 16:18

I'm doing the exact same thing.
I thought about going down from Sandi to Sean Darcy as I have Vardy and Witts but went with Gawn instead.
who are you upgrading to next week?

Dalvin · 05/07/2017 at 12:41

Trading Sandi to Gawn
Full premium (with Fyfe)
I have greenwood and parsons in forward line, considering trading parsons to darcy via strandica
Allows me to loophole greenwood using strandica and 280 in bank with 4 trades left

Question is so I do the parsons to darcy trade for 159k and ability to loophole greenwood in forward line, or hold and have 5 trades

Luke · 05/07/2017 at 12:42

2 x M9's Scooter (BE 105 injured/injury history) and SPP (BE 65 injury free)…one has to go for Witherden…..only 4 trades left but need money in the kitty and need to open up DEF/MID swingset….who goes?

Dusty, Titch, Neale or Cripps?

Opsadaisy · 05/07/2017 at 13:06

OMG – two trades. You are in deep s**t. The finals aren't next week they are several weeks away, despite your cover. Your side is ok but keep Fyfe at M8, that will save a trade for starters. Since you must trade Sandi play safe and get Martin or Gawn and good luck because you will need it.

    Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 14:31

I have cover for everywhere – so that saves me at least 3 trades, technically giving me 5 – but you aren't wrong I am cutting it fine. As I am not playing for league I may as well go down in a blaze of glory trying to push my rank up, or even lose ranks but try and (somehow) win a round.

      Opsadaisy · 05/07/2017 at 14:41

If you are not just playing for league go for it. Where are you positioned now mate. I'm 9064 and hope I can win my family league but my Dad thinks he has it in the bag. He is 1007 ahead of me and has 8 trades left!!! He has been very lucky.

        Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 14:43

        I'm ranked 2800th

          FEARTHEBEARD · 05/07/2017 at 14:50

Have no fear, the beard is down to 1 😐

Gawn to Witts is coming IF I can survive injuries for a couple weeks.

Have cover with Ryan, Witherdan, Bolton, Brown and hopefully Eddy.

With Nank swinging for Strna if need be.

            Finnius123 · 05/07/2017 at 14:54

            I'm in good company then

            INPieman · 05/07/2017 at 15:12

One trade FTB! I salute your bravery. Good luck mate

              FEARTHEBEARD · 05/07/2017 at 18:49

              😛 thanks pieman

SC Connoisseur · 05/07/2017 at 14:01

N Fyfe:
Avg VS NM since 2011: 127.5 from 8 (low of 94 and a high of 164, 1/8 below 100, 6/8 120+, 2/8 140+)

    INPieman · 05/07/2017 at 14:20

A 94 would be decent from Fyfe ATM

Jim_bob321 · 05/07/2017 at 14:50

What do u fellas think?
Sandilands to Darcy
Then going SPP/Scooter to a premo mid…
Leaves me with roughly 750ishk
Any premo mid options would be greatly appreciated
Thinking of either Mitchell or Neale but want the community's advice.

    Joe T · 05/07/2017 at 15:14

Can't go past Mitchell for consistency and Neale's output may be effected with no Sandi

    Stefan Valensisi · 05/07/2017 at 15:50

Will an unproven rookie last as your R2 for the rest of the season?
If you think so, I'd go Mitchell or possibly wait for someone like Jelwood to heavily drop in price.

      Jim_bob321 · 05/07/2017 at 16:16

Swing Nank into R2… maybe upgrade him to gawn next week

Northerner · 05/07/2017 at 15:31

I'm torn between 2 options. Help please.

I think Darcy provides an interesting option for us this week. With Sandi down his JS is excellent and his TOG will only go up. I think he presents as a very unsusual and incredibly timed R3 option.

I have Strnadica currently as R3 as my C loophole and looped with Nank as ruck backup.

Now, Nank will not be top 6 forward.

C loopholing in rucks is easier than forwards and you have 2 players rather than six worth of late out risk. However no late out cover in Rucks.

So option 1 is do nothing and keep Nank, hopefully getting him to F7 and ruck cover; or

Option 2. Darcy in at R3, trade Nank for Top 6 FWD.

Option 1 has no late outs cover, but easier to C loophole with only 2 player late out risk.

Option 2 has late out cover for rucks, but is harder to loop without increasing late out risk with 6 players in fwd line.

I'm leaning toward option 2.

Thoughts very welcome.

So, option 1.

    Pauly Walnuts · 05/07/2017 at 18:16

Northerner, sorry mate but I read that 3 times and I'm still confused on some of your wording.

Anyway I'm similar , I'm looking at also trading Sandi to Darcy and looping Nank 9 (F6 or 7) with Darcy and this can happen for the next 4 week as the draws suits this and gives me heaps of cash for upgrades elsewhere.

      manolaki · 05/07/2017 at 18:23

      Who is your other ruck

        Pauly Walnuts · 05/07/2017 at 18:31

      Northerner · 06/07/2017 at 02:45

Apologies and thanks for your consideration.

Effectively, Darcy is an opportunity to have R3 cover and then no longer need Nank as ruck cover so can upgrade him to a top 6 fwd. Or keep Nank and try to get him to F7.

jez_m · 05/07/2017 at 15:49

JJK is definitely worth a look in the next few weeks for those who still have Nank. $480K with a BE of 158, and now his ownership has more than halved since his injury (21.2% down to 10.2%)

TRIGGA_HAPPY · 05/07/2017 at 16:39

    Russty_ · 05/07/2017 at 18:58

Know how ya feel mate…bloody frustrating…so called premos lol

Big G · 05/07/2017 at 16:43

Is Toby Greene good to go? If so, Greene or Heeney?

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 05/07/2017 at 16:46

    green is out this week

      manolaki · 05/07/2017 at 18:24

        Russty_ · 05/07/2017 at 18:58

I read this also on Herald Sun website.

          Derek · 05/07/2017 at 19:28

          Yep. Greene Out

            manolaki · 05/07/2017 at 20:41

FArk just put him in 2 weeks ago he plays one game and out

    jez_m · 06/07/2017 at 10:55

Wait until teams are named, but if Greene misses again I'd go Heeney

Don't Blush Baby · 05/07/2017 at 17:06

Herald Sun Breaking News – A current and a formal AFL being investigated for a serious matter ? Anyone got ant info ?

    TRIGGA_HAPPY · 05/07/2017 at 17:25

tom boyd has been diagnosed with depression

      gator59 · 05/07/2017 at 18:26

Geez i'd get depression if i was only earning 1 mill a year too..lol

        jez_m · 06/07/2017 at 10:56

That's a pretty ignorant comment Gator. Depression isn't based on how much money you earn.

    BlueNath · 05/07/2017 at 18:24

Just a business deal gone bad

    Russty_ · 05/07/2017 at 18:55

Ty Vickery and Jake King apparently been arrested for extortion…wow!

Willymack1234 · 05/07/2017 at 17:10

Worth going Heater to lloyd with 5 trades left?

    jez_m · 06/07/2017 at 10:57

Tough one. If the rest of your team is complete I'd consider it. If not, hold trades for later.

Ja191 · 05/07/2017 at 17:12

any idea if the jelwood brothers will be back? joel most likely will, dont know about scooter though.

manolaki · 05/07/2017 at 18:26

I have Sandi and Goldy. Is it too much of a risk going Sandi to Darcy and using cash to create premium cover elsewhere?

As in Darcy becomes my keeper R2

Joe · 05/07/2017 at 19:56

9 trades $115k
DEF: Docherty Laird Rance Lloyd Shaw Hibberd (Newman Ryan)
MID: Danger Mitchell Bont Pendles JPK Wines Treloar Fyfe (Witherden Cousins Brown)
RUC: Grundy Nank (Strandica)
FWD: Yeo Macrae Dahl Lynch Heeney Greenwood (Parsons Eddy)

I'd like to trade Gawn in for a fwd rookie so I can shift Nank fwd but I don't have $$, and Greenwood hasn't reached his highest price.
Also looking at Fyfe and Shaw as potential trades, but they aren't of priority compared to getting full premo first.
Any thoughts on potential trades?

    Keenbutclueless · 05/07/2017 at 20:51

Newman is too good to have sitting on your bench, especially since you can't loophole him. In terms of points, I would rate Newman ahead of Greenwood- who you have on field.
My advice would be to trade Newman to Gawn.
one trade, and still keep Greenwood earning cash, and keeps Nank as cover

      Keenbutclueless · 05/07/2017 at 20:53

With the 50k left, you could upgrade Shaw or Fyfe

        Keenbutclueless · 05/07/2017 at 21:16

Another alternative is to put Newman on field. Then trade Shaw out and bring Gawn in. You could still upgrade Fyfe. Two trades. Just if you trust Newman at D6. I prefer Newman at D6 more than Greenwood at F6

      Joe · 05/07/2017 at 22:51

      That trade isn't possible?

        Keenbutclueless · 05/07/2017 at 23:40

Yes it is. Newman or Shaw out. Move Witherden to Def. move Greenwood to mid. Move Nank forward. Trade in Gawn

    az12 · 06/07/2017 at 11:04

Fyfe Out. Move Greenwood to Mid. Push Nank forward and bring in Gawn to Ruck with the cash. 1 Trade… done

Big G · 06/07/2017 at 10:49

Desperately want to get rid of that Parsons fellow. Options: upgrade to Heeney, Ryder or Buddy this week, wait for Greene or JJK next week or swing Nank into the fwd line and get Gawn? A penny for your thoughts?

    jez_m · 06/07/2017 at 10:58

I'd probably grab Heeney this week if you aren't running low on trades.

az12 · 06/07/2017 at 11:03

Need some advice fine people.
9 trades and 105K. Top 4 lock in cash league.

Def: Doch, Hibberd, Adams, Newman, Shaw, Roberton e: ryan, cox
Mid: Danger, Ablett, Bont, Smurf, Pendles, Treloar, Hepp, Witherden e: greenwood, cousins
Ruck: Martin, Gawn
For: Dahl, McRae, Heeney, Greene, Franklin, Ryder e: Black, Eddy

Worried about Heppell and Shaw. Thinking of possible trade for either Neale/Cripps or Rance. Or should I hold fire?

Nicko · 06/07/2017 at 13:35

witts for gawn

Thoughts Community

Jordan · 06/07/2017 at 17:24

Do you think there is much difference between 4 and 5 trades.
If I have 4 trades remaining it means I am at ull premium this week with defensive-midfield swing/loophole options.
If I have 5 at full premium then I won't have any swing from mid to defence or any cover

Dan · 08/07/2017 at 12:42

Trading Parsons and Myers, putting Nank in my forward line and getting in Gawn. Problem is I need a downgrade in the midfield. Callum Brown is looking like the best option just based on a low break even and DPP which is super handy. Any other downgrade targets I should look at? (I got Witherden in last week)
