My opponent had the C on Danger 151,and I had the C on Selwood 126.
Still tempted to take Selwoods score which is preety decent…..or should I back Pendles to go big at the G tonight against the Hawks..
Thought Community ??

    jez_m · 20/05/2017 at 10:07

Tough one, but take Selwood I reckon. You're only missing out on 50 points

      Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 11:06

      25*

    Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 10:08

    Take Selwoods score.

    Moe Szylak · 20/05/2017 at 10:08

In the exact same position myself. Thinking of Tom Mitchell C but probably will play it safe and take selwood's score

      jockreynolds · 20/05/2017 at 10:09

Yeah Selwood for me lads – can't sneeze at a 126

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:19

Take selwood. 126 is a good score

    Tommo09 · 21/05/2017 at 15:59

    Haha Pendles 142

jez_m · 20/05/2017 at 10:09

Thank god I went Dangerfield over Bont last night. Having a look at Danger's scores v Dogs since the start of last year, he's now got 3 scores of 140+ against them

    Free Kick · 20/05/2017 at 10:15

Wish I'd had those stats before the game…..But I think you're right , I'll play it safe too and take the 126…

Pendles will now score 160 !!!

    derek · 20/05/2017 at 11:18

we all thought the Bont would get tagged by S Selwood, but it was Blizard that did the job

trader · 20/05/2017 at 10:12

Should I take Stewart's 52 or roll the dice on Berry?

    Greg · 20/05/2017 at 10:42

    Have the same dilemma

    Pitch 72 · 20/05/2017 at 10:44

Go Berry mate, 65 rule for rooks.

      Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:21

      65? That's big. I go 55

    Dom · 20/05/2017 at 11:12

    Easy, Berry.

    derek · 20/05/2017 at 11:19

    get on the Superman Berry

    trader · 20/05/2017 at 13:03

    thanks guys

Ken · 20/05/2017 at 10:17

Who to get? I need to downgrade or else I'll have donut on the field

Mcinnes, galluci, greenwood, perryman

    Jacob Bush · 20/05/2017 at 10:27

Roll the dice. Low risk some reward?

    Kev · 20/05/2017 at 10:31

Perryman. GWS squad dropping like flies at the moment

    bUCKET__ · 20/05/2017 at 10:37

Job security next to nothing for any of them. Taking the donut could be better than wasting a trade.

But if I had to choose I'd back Greenwood in. Older bloke, DPP, getting some ripping form behind him in the SANFL ( http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/Ratings/Player… )

Jacob · 20/05/2017 at 10:26

Laird, Doc, Adams aside.
4 next best backs??

    Kev · 20/05/2017 at 10:33

Simpson and Lloyd would be two. Gets a bit harder after that

    Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 11:47

I like the look of Hurley.

      Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:46

He looks good finally but worries me. Always been highly rated even though he ain't done a great deal more than smack a cab driver and get on the peptides…

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 12:03

    Rance, Lloyd, Simpson, Tuohy

    derek · 20/05/2017 at 12:08

    Simpson, Rance, Shaw, Hurley

    DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 12:14

    I like Harbrow

    Damo · 20/05/2017 at 12:23

    Roberton, Lloyd, Simpson, Shaw.

    Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:43

I take it we've all finally completely scrubbed heater and say he can't return to form??

      Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 16:27

      Too old. Same with Gazza

    KERCHOW · 22/05/2017 at 09:33

    Roberton, Lloyd, Howe, Rance/Simpson

daz · 20/05/2017 at 10:26

Reckon danger and selwood deserved more- only 3300 pts to hand out unfortunately the tackle fest consumed a lot of that 3300.

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 11:04

My midfield premos are as follows:
Danger, Titch, Zerret, JPK, Fyfe and Treloar.
Am bringing in a mid premo this week for under 565k just wondering who would be the best choice. I would get Pendles however my team is stacked on round 13 premos with 7 already.
Thanks community

    wayne · 20/05/2017 at 11:10

maybe Ebert after his bye ???

      Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:28

Ollie wines??? Has round nine bye, cheap at the moment after a flat patch, can really play and go big as he showed earlier

    Captain Risky · 20/05/2017 at 11:13

    Cripps, then Dusty, Oliver, Hanners.

      DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 11:47

Was thinking maybe Hanners. Not sure if it might be best not to bring in a premo and wait for Bont and a few others drop in price

    TheLoneRanger · 20/05/2017 at 19:46

    DUSTY all the way.

MickyB · 20/05/2017 at 11:06

Should i take stewarts 52 or put him on over hampton or evw?

    SF4 · 20/05/2017 at 11:14

I'm taking the gamble on EVW.

    Dom · 20/05/2017 at 11:18

Think about it this way. Hampton's average is 61 and his lowest was 41. Now look at his ceilings this season… 103. Much greater gain than loss. Hampton it is.

Saundo · 20/05/2017 at 11:10

Yeah same here !

Ben · 20/05/2017 at 11:14

Need to trade Butler up to a FWD to fill a donut….have about 495k to spend.
Already have Franklin and Nankervis.
Debating whether to go Heeney or Greene…or anyone else?

    Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:35

    Petracca

Daniel · 20/05/2017 at 11:15

Thoughts on Balic and Butler out for Myers and JJK. Not too sure on Myers job security but is he the best of a bad bunch?

    DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 11:17

I would rate Greenwood above Myers but your choice

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 00:01

I hope you took my advice

    Meathead · 20/05/2017 at 23:56

    Myers has always been ordinary.

INPieman · 20/05/2017 at 11:19

Nice slice of luck. You don't get much in this caper

Steeeve · 20/05/2017 at 11:23

Pffft my captain choice has scored 150 every week.

Only this time it's BEFORE being doubled.

INPieman · 20/05/2017 at 11:25

Welcome back the Danger we know & love. That left foot goal from the boundary was sublime

    Stirlsy · 20/05/2017 at 11:41

    It sure was…

    Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:39

Just when we were starting to get used to shopping the captaincy around each week, he looked back to his best, set and forget captain going fwd.

Stirlsy · 20/05/2017 at 11:46

Missed the vc or c on Danger he was in the mix but i let the game go and looked elsewhere, Sloane carries the VC for me this week if he fails still undecided on the C but its between JJK who i think is due for a bag and the Doc who should find plenty of it and space at Subi….

    Super_Freak · 20/05/2017 at 13:00

I did the same. Rockliff out and no Robinson tag, reckon he will smash my blokes tonight.

Pom · 20/05/2017 at 12:01

Take Parsons 47? Or roll the dice on everyone's favourite potato Hannan?
Gone Neale for Captain after going Bont for VC.

    Eduardo · 20/05/2017 at 18:30

Wondering the same thing.. will prob be only 10 points or so either side

Marcus · 20/05/2017 at 12:30

Pendles or jpk as captain?

    Free Kick · 20/05/2017 at 12:51

    Dependleberry

BrownlowBoy · 20/05/2017 at 12:31

Stewart score of 52 or chuck EVW onfield?

    Free Kick · 20/05/2017 at 12:51

    Bank 52

      TigerNut · 20/05/2017 at 15:24

I'm tempted to go EVW mate. In the same situation

Tibor · 20/05/2017 at 12:32

Maybe Hannan I still reckon Hunt might be a late out at Melbourne from last weeks concussion. May offer Hannan an upgraded role, I'd role the dice given your trying to beat 47…..

POTS · 20/05/2017 at 12:34

Thinking of holding Balic. Need to get rid of Butler (FWD or MID).
Thoughts on Lloyd (GWS), Greenwood or paying a little more for Berry??

    Frank the Tank · 20/05/2017 at 12:47

I think Lloyd has good job security with GWS's injury crisis atm. Greenwood sounds good but I'd like to see him play at least 1 game before jumping on

Luke · 20/05/2017 at 12:45

Hey guys,

Lloyd (Syd one) or Hibberd (Melb one) for my next Def upgrade this week, and who goes out for one of them? Butler (via DPPs, means I lose MID/FWD swing but maintain MID/DEF swing), Otten or Marchbank?

    Free Kick · 20/05/2017 at 12:52

    Otten or Butler

richard · 20/05/2017 at 12:46

Geelong's Jeckyll and Hyde performances R8 & R9,what a contrast in all areas.Goal kicking sublime. That's what i want to see in footy
No need to complain but the way this year going i think every side might have a bit of J & H.

Jack · 20/05/2017 at 13:05

Take Stewart's 52 or back in EVW?

Blaknight · 20/05/2017 at 13:05

Do i take Parson's 47 or go with Greenwood. (Yes i went early on him. Ive done it twice this season and its paid off for me each time so ive gone with my gut and go against the sheep (Myers)

    Thomas · 20/05/2017 at 13:14

I have also gone early on Greenwood, hopefully it pays off.
Thats a tough one. Would probably back Greenwood in, In form and playing a bad side in the Lions

      Blaknight · 20/05/2017 at 13:23

hey hey enough on the Lions.

        jockreynolds · 20/05/2017 at 14:24

I'm thinking long and hard about the greenwood gamble as well lads

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 14:23

But greenwood won't make any cash this week or next week. He won't be fattened up prior to his bye, so you have to keep him to round 14!

Meanwhile Myers owners have traded him out after round 12 (also has r13 bye).

Makes no sense not to get Myers this week

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 13:11

Who do the community think will be top 10 midfielders from this point onwards?

Borko · 20/05/2017 at 13:11

heeney v greene? byes ok

Thomas · 20/05/2017 at 13:14

Take Parsons, 47 or go Hannan?

    BrownlowBoy · 20/05/2017 at 13:18

Parsons. Hannan leaves a turd on your field weekly.

Rob · 20/05/2017 at 13:30

JPK captain?

Alex · 20/05/2017 at 13:30

Do i take Selwood's 126 and cop 252 or can i back Lachie Neale to top that? what do you think community?

    pod · 20/05/2017 at 13:48

Big chance Neale will go big but only if you are chasing points

      Alex · 20/05/2017 at 14:31

it is going to be tight. i might need to take the punt. Thanks pod

Shane · 20/05/2017 at 13:41

Is Brisbane going to tag Sloane?

    Mich · 20/05/2017 at 14:22

Not sure who would tag him, i don't think brisbane could keep him under control

    Daphuc shouldIknow · 20/05/2017 at 15:04

Just got of the phone to Fagan, he said nah i never heard of sloane so he can just run wild. Hope that helps

      Shane · 20/05/2017 at 15:35

      Cheers smartarse

    SC_Kev7 · 20/05/2017 at 15:20

With no Mitch Robinson I can't see who with. They might try it but Sloane should be able to break it

    Kev · 20/05/2017 at 15:21

Robbo isn't playing and he's there tagger. However Berry might get a run with role on sloane

deimos · 20/05/2017 at 14:04

HELP need to cover doughnut :

waite,
JJK,
Greene
Mic. walters

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 14:08

    JJK or Greene

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 14:05

Buddy's going well so far…bonehead

    JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 14:25

We need a really big Q from him just to get above 70 pts.

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 14:36

Jeez John, at this rate he'll struggle to get to 50!

        JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 14:46

Not looking good,my rookie bench player in this game is going better.

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 14:56

    Getting double teamed a lot

    Mich · 20/05/2017 at 14:57

    Live by the buddy
    Die by the buddy

JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 14:19

I might have stuffed up my VC but at least bringing in Hanners this week seems to be working out for me.

    DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 14:20

I brought him in also. However now I only have 1 mid spot left and don't have Selwood, Pendles and Bont

      JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 14:32

Still have two spots left or one if I keep Beams, you should be able to get Bont at his starting price very soon.I don't have Pendles or Selwood either, only so many mid spots going around. My top seven are currently Bont,Oliver,Danger,Mitch,Fyfe, Hanners and Beams.

        DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 14:48

My midfield is currently Danger, Titch, Fyfe, JPK, Zerret, Hanners and Treloar

          JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 14:57

Merrett and Pendles are on my watchlist as one of my next mid upgrades, but I will probably be looking at my def and fds first.

    Bells E Bubb · 20/05/2017 at 22:02

Better than my choice of Heeney this week and Jones last.
The SC scoring in this game was plain crap and wrong.

HonestJohn · 20/05/2017 at 14:33

You should copy this because the censors will remove it very quickly.
An update on the Tullamarine truth twisters performance without the performance enhancing growth hormones. Remember that these guys have had 12months to get over lingering injuries and work on cardio vascular fitness. Some of them were also only in their first couple of years when they were juicing and have now grown into men so you'd expect significant improvement from them.

Heppell on the gear 106.4 without down to 105.9
Ryder 101.1 down to 97.3
Hurley 85.9 up to 95.3
Hooker 79 down to 72
Watson 106.9 down to 81.7
Colyer 75.2 down to 64.6
Stanton 91.4 down to 63.5
Carlisle 71.5 down to 61
Howlett 72.2 down to 72 (only 2 games so far this year)
Myers 85.6 down to 52

A few haven't managed to get a game this year due to new soft tissue injuries that they are struggling to recover from (Dr Jim and Prof. Dank had a soloution for this).
Based on this evidence Heppell, Ryder and Hurley are probably the only players who didn't get a substantial and significant boost from the chemical cocktails in the runners cup.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 14:52

What evidence?…it's just your theory, doesn't mean it's true.
There are probably several other circumstances leading to some of those averages.
    Ryder and Carlisle changed clubs.
Watson is getting long in the tooth and slower.
Colyer was never that good in the first place and Howlett.
Stanton could just be struggling to find pace again after a year off.
Myers is and always was inconsistent and a walking injury.

Players have up and down years, you don't expect them all to average the same amount every season do you?

They've done their time, let it go and leave em alone.

      Derek · 20/05/2017 at 14:56

he hasn't even bothered to include the players who have increased there performance

        Kev · 20/05/2017 at 15:23

Heppell and Hurley are the only ones who increased Derek and they're at the top of the list.

        No one · 20/05/2017 at 22:55

That would be "their" rather then "there" [sic] i'd say Derek.

          Someone · 21/05/2017 at 01:16

That would be "than" rather than "then" champ.

      Kev · 20/05/2017 at 15:30

hahaha Do you work in the excuse factory at the back of the new Tullamarine complex Rusty? Mate they cheated and they were probably doing it for years before they got caught. The club should've been banned for at least a year and they shouldn't have been given the top early draft picks as compensation.
In any other sport in the world they'd still be banned and if it'd been Collingwood or Richmond instead of Essendon they probably would still be banned. Remember the Tigers player banned for a decade for having medical treatment that included steroids?

        Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:18

Mate, I'm not saying they didn't do it, they were found guilty and copped their punishment, I'm just sick to death of hearing about it for the last 4 years.
        it's over.

    Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 14:56

Thosedrug addicts should be banned from the AFL for the rest of their lives what a joke.

      Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 15:24

Why are you using my username?

        Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 00:56

get an intense debate profile, doesn't completely avoid confusion, just ask wombatsfc …. but can help.

    Kev · 20/05/2017 at 14:56

Wow! That's pretty damning evidence but I'm sure that the AFL will put out a press release explaining that this is just an anomally of data and they are actually all playing better and more often without the drugs

    B-rian · 20/05/2017 at 15:36

Your an idiot. Obviously trying to stir the pot.
Most of the players suffered from a lul in performance at around game 3 or 4 after their comeback. This low number makes the average look worse. This was to be expected but I think they can be expected to perform at a good level for the rest of the year.

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:53

Worked ok for the Cronulla sharks

      Ruddigar · 21/05/2017 at 12:29

C'mon Derek at least allow them a chance to play a bit of decent football and win a bit so they can get full of their own importance before we all remind them of what the rest of us will always remember they are…….

    Whafta · 20/05/2017 at 23:53

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 00:59

Not sure the first 9 is enough or comparable. I'd be more interested in the first 9 from next year against the period dr drugs was there, age adjusted.

    wightyswarriors · 22/05/2017 at 16:36

Rusty…if you are "so sick of hearing it", why the flower bring it up. You are the problem here…YOU can't move on. They have done there time.

Blaknight · 20/05/2017 at 14:48

Is Stef Martin a good POD Captain choice this week? Ive got my VC on Jelwood but am thinking SMartin or Pendles.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 14:55

Could be Blaknight but he could also struggle against an in form Jacobs.

JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 15:07

Was going to comment that Hanners has scored in a half just under what bloody Bont did for the whole game last night, but you kind of said it for me.

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 15:08

Need to play 2 of the following rookies for each of these positions

Berry, Marchbank and Otten

Barret, TT, Greenwood

    SC_Kev7 · 20/05/2017 at 15:22

    Marchbank, Otten
    Barrett, TT

    JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 15:22

Good position to be in,I have Otten,Marchbank,Barrett and Taranto on the field

Confused · 20/05/2017 at 15:10

Can I loophole Danger's score as I had him as VC with Brett Eddy? Will that work?

    Kev · 20/05/2017 at 15:13

    Yes

      Confused · 20/05/2017 at 15:16

It makes sense. Just seems odd. Like it says 0 for projected for Eddy but can still move him on and off the field. It still shows 151 for Danger not 302. When will that switch to 302. After the round is over?

        Confused · 20/05/2017 at 15:17

Have Nankervis on Fwd bench as Emergency to cover the 0 for Eddy. This works yeah?

          Daphuc shouldIknow · 20/05/2017 at 15:20

        kev · 20/05/2017 at 15:19

Dangers score will become 302 when your non-playing captains team plays or at end of round if your capt has byeat end of round

          Confused · 20/05/2017 at 15:21

Thanks. Yeah seems logical. Just wanted to make sure I was avoiding a potential stupid mistake

          SC_Kev7 · 20/05/2017 at 15:21

Suns and Port players will be locked once the last game of the round starts

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:28

    If you captain Eddy sure

Rivo · 20/05/2017 at 15:17

Finally SC Gods smiling. Danger VC and loophole set. Now just hoping the Greenwood rookie trade risk pays off. Hanners flying too.

Do I leave Hampton at D6 or run with EVW?

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 16:22

But greenwood won't make any cash this week or next week. He won't be fattened up prior to his bye, so you have to keep him to round 14

      Rivo · 22/05/2017 at 07:28

Understand Derek. My comment wasn't about whether Greenwood would score ok, as it was before. His game, and he did better than Heeney! Also, if I had run with EVW over Hampton, I would have knocked over the great man Jock! Hope your team did well too.

Cliffy · 20/05/2017 at 15:29

Is it crazy talk to get Greenwood in for Butler so I don't have to take Parsons 47 at F6? I've only got 20 trades remaining (having made none this week yet), it's tempting given his SANFL form but I should hold off surely?

    Cliffy · 20/05/2017 at 15:30

And Parsons score rookie wise wasn't a total disaster.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 15:43

If I was in your situation, I'd wait and have a look at Greenwood and see how he goes first, he could stink it up and get dropped or get injured before his price even goes up…as long as you're not copping any Doughnuts this week.

      Cliffy · 20/05/2017 at 15:47

Yeah Rusty no doughnuts (knock on wood) for this Round for my side yet. 🙂

redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 15:52

I'm thinking of trading out Pepper Powel for Myers & Marchbank or Otten for Adams. Love to hear what you guys think

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:24

Keep SPP. You'll need him for the byes

      Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:52

Agree. I think SPP has a big game in him

        redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 19:05

Thanks guys I'm still in two minds as I have Rocky on the bench whom I plan to hold until he comes back with his low BE. I think Myers is one of the few better rookie options as the rest are poo for a while. So I may still go through with the trade or hold SPP and trade Fisher for Myers

    Pepsi · 20/05/2017 at 23:49

    No, no.

      redgumwon · 21/05/2017 at 09:59

Herald Sun went down and locked me out before I was to trade Marchbank for Adams. Cost me 110 points and no trade was made. Looking to go Fisher to Myers today. If needed Marchbank will become Docherty and SPP will become Myers. Looks like I should win my games with only trading Fisher to Myers at this stage

Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 15:58

AHAHAHA all you trash players who chased points on Heeney get REKT

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:23

Chasing points? He was going to be in many teams before he got glandular fever. His recent scores only made him more desirable.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:54

You're not chasing points when you trade a guy in averaging 107…he just had an off day, still a gun and will only get better…imposter.

    Top Gun · 20/05/2017 at 18:18

107 average. Players can have poor weeks. He seemed to play more down back this week.

    Spencer · 20/05/2017 at 23:48

What a moron you are for not getting him.

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 15:59

God! what an insipid effort from The Saints today, they're looking like the Saints of last year and Sydney look like they're getting back to their best with their defensive pressure. Bloody disappointing.

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 16:19

swans will play a part in september

demon_spud · 20/05/2017 at 16:17

Did you have Newman as C loophole last weekend?

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 16:19

Wish I picked up Newman 🙁

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:49

Bad luck mate, I'm glad I stuck with him from the start, didn't know if he'd get more games cause of his bloody coach but he's looking like one of the rookie picks of the year now and maybe even a keeper, will go up another 50k this week too.

Funny · 20/05/2017 at 16:20

Supercoach f$&ken load of shit Franklin 17 touches 80% 4-2pts 6 marks 3 tackles Tippett 12 touches 1-2 60% eff so nearly half his touches were shit and ZERO tackles 80pts only 3 marks. Try to explain that load of shit!!!

    Mich · 20/05/2017 at 16:22

    Clangers mate

      Funny · 20/05/2017 at 16:57

80%eff 3 more tackles 3 more marks 3 more goals!!!! Tippett only went at 60%!!! Dont tell me clangers!!

        Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:51

He was on 5 at half time. All his point came in second half. 70 in a half is good

          Mombo · 20/05/2017 at 23:47

Agree Derek. Some people just don't get it.

Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:22

Thank you Heeney. Love your 70. Just wish I had gone with someone better

    Northernsoul74 · 20/05/2017 at 16:22

    AHAHAHA scrub

      Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:31

Shut up, dickhead. This site isn't for mocking people. It's for learning through communication and interdependency in Supercoach

        Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:50

I think heeney was affected by Rampe being back. Let Jones Lloyd and mills get more midfield. Heeney spent most of game in the wing

Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 16:29

Locking in 250 on the bench after Sunday's games

Derek · 20/05/2017 at 16:31

When did Preuss sneak onto the Emergency list?

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:42

Pretty sure he was there as soon as final Sunday teams were announced.

      Derek · 20/05/2017 at 16:49

he wasn't on the extended bench on thursday

        Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:51

I think it was friday arvo Derek…I checked AFL website and he was there, didn't stop me from trading him out haha

        Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 17:13

Durdin got omitted on friday aswell. North made a couple of changes after thursday.

          Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:47

I had to get rid of Simpkin, so Preuss survives again. Maybe he does a Newman and gets a late call

TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 16:32

Dan Hannebery pumps out another 135. You little ripper. Traded him in 4 weeks ago when he was around $535K. Tonned up every week since. Will be $600K plus in no time. Bloke is a absolute star. Buy low and sell high as they say!

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:43

Yep, him and his team are looking pretty good now after the slow start.

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 17:15

I'm still happy with my trades of Hanners and Parfitt to Oliver and Nank before changes. People like you make me try to regret or forget it

      TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 17:20

You must be an amateur right to trade out a premo?

        TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 17:37

        Let me repeat that!

        Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 17:46

It worked didn't it? They call me a psycho or psychic or both.

      DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 17:38

      Why make those trades?

        Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 17:46

        Fortune favours the brave

          Scott · 22/05/2017 at 13:29

Fortune doesn't favour the stupid though…

    SCdonkey · 20/05/2017 at 17:44

Had him from the start and he's paying the faithful. Specially putting the C on him this week, like I said before he's due for a massive game. Just not sure when, i thought it was gonna be today. That massive game (score) still to come.

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 16:56

Interested, why did you have the C and the VC on two players in the same game in the first place?

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 16:28

    Last weeks C/VC most likely

Westy · 20/05/2017 at 16:56

704 after 5 – Danger VC loophole, Tuohy, Dahlhaus, JPK, Newman.
Hopefully that level of performance continues.

    Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 17:12

710 after 6 with Danger VC
    Projected for 2142

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 17:08

Dusty looking like a great trade in next week

    DavidSA · 20/05/2017 at 17:41

Yup so close to the byes he woul be awesome picking up 0

Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 17:22

Daniel Lloyd has 42% TOG. He might as well not be in the team.

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 17:32

RIP Shaw

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 17:47

40 at half times is ok. Doing better than Greenes 28

Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 17:45

Nank you tank. Barely noticed you in the first quarter and still managed to rack up 60 odd at half

    Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 18:29

95 at 3qt. He is on track for a big score at this stage.

Poor ole Tigers…they're pretty good at almost winning games .

    JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 20:05

Have to say I have really been enjoying their games since they beat the Dees Russty, that will teach them for going over the top after that game.

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 20:25

Yeah me too John, they just need to get more ruthless near the end and learn to close games out…and not get big heads when they win haha

        No one · 20/05/2017 at 23:02

How are Jack's crazy eyes after a win going?

INPieman · 20/05/2017 at 19:15

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Flemington racecourse Racking up impressive numbers at the bar. I log on half way through the last to see the Tigers in control. Nek minute…..oh boy. Crouching will be on suicide watch

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 19:37

Yep…oops , they did it again, Perryman saved the day with his touch of Bolton's goal.

      neil Demons Delight · 20/05/2017 at 20:28

Bolton looks the goods as does greenwood. his grandfather played in 3 dees premierships in the 50s Peter Marquis so he has pedigree

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 19:15

Dusty, Nank and Taranto did great. Shaw with another 70 score not good. Bolton looking like a good pickup?

redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 19:16

Getting really sick and tired of the Herald Sun Supercoach site going off the boil all the time. Their about as good as Richmond winning close games with their web site going down all the time. Is anyone else having problems accessing the site at the moment?

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 19:21

    Yeah can't get on

      redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 19:23

Very average by the Herald Sun to keep this up all year. Every week this has happened

        hedski · 20/05/2017 at 19:27

Just tried thru hs website, no love.
        "Bad gateway" or some crap.
Hopefully Rance tonned up or was close.

          redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 19:30

I'm getting the same thing. I missed out on getting Adams into my side. Shits me to death all the problems they are having this year

            redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 19:30

working now. Seems to happen most after games and before the next game starts

            hedski · 20/05/2017 at 19:40

            That's crap luck mate.
            Rance tonned up!!

              redgumwon · 20/05/2017 at 20:36

I'm glad Rance tonned up for you that a win

                Petra · 20/05/2017 at 23:42

Rance is the best defender in the AFL but not necessarily the best SC defender. The scoring must be adjusted.

                  Tibor · 21/05/2017 at 13:04

Would have liked to see him regularly play one on one against a quality key forward

          neil Demons Delight · 20/05/2017 at 20:30

copped the same but come good

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 19:36

Same here mate, and it's every year since it started!…they need to upgrade their servers or some geek shit like that.

    Yoyo · 20/05/2017 at 23:40

Don't have these problems with Dreamteam.

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 23:51

That's cause only 15000 people or so still play Dreamteam yolo, AFL Fantasy has its freezing problems too. They're both underpowered, AFL Fantasy and Supercoach, hence freezing during high traffic.

Bells E Bubb · 20/05/2017 at 19:19

Who was scoring the Syd Saints game for SC?

Buddy, Reid, Roo, Kennedy, Jones all low scores. Did anyone make their par other than Hamners?

Bollocks

    Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 19:23

Kennedy got 102 – it's not that bad

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 19:27

Parker was crap too, another 75.

      Bells E Bubb · 20/05/2017 at 21:44

Yeah so who DID get SC points, cause Syd played well. Didn’t Bud get 4.1? 76 points??? Jones did better than 49 FFS !! 20 disp at 85%!!!!!!!!!
Kennedy 35 disp at 77% if his name was Bont that’s 130 points!

        No one · 20/05/2017 at 23:13

Follow Sidebottom's scores if you want to see consistently low scores for possessions. tackles, pressure acts, disposal efficiency and game impact. it's quite bizarre.

HallyMate · 20/05/2017 at 19:20

Collingwood could be looking for a new coach next week. This pathetic. If the pies dont turn it around, and fast, Buckley will be SACKED.

          Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 20:35

          And a goal

    DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 20:31

Traded hampton out and kept Otten. My my what a mistake

    Weeta · 20/05/2017 at 23:36

Should have gone two weeks ago you ?

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 23:52

Ended up on 70…which is not too bad really.

LetsGo · 20/05/2017 at 20:23

Really keen to rage trade Treloar and Shaw but I must resist the temptation

    DavidSA · 20/05/2017 at 20:28

I'm thinking Treloar to Wines will be best bet
Wines poor scores will be a thing of the past 2 weeks rest, no byes to worry about and super cheap
In any case he will do much better than T-skirt

      LetsGo · 20/05/2017 at 23:29

Might have to rethink that trade, he finished strongly

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 20:27

Holy crap, Hugh Greenwood, 60 points and 3 goals! He's killing it…sorry Cliffy

    DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 20:36

Really happy I went early and put him on field. Makes up for keeping Otten and trading Newman early

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 20:44

Good call …yeah he could definitely ease your pain with Newman.

      Holty · 20/05/2017 at 20:46

As i commented below. Bloody genius.

        Cliffy · 21/05/2017 at 11:18

Yo Rusty, all good mate, that's the beauty of taking a risk in SC!

Just that I've already gone bang bang with quite a few trades already into the early part of the season didn't want to jump the gun early on Greenwood, oh well.

      redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 12:48

i'm not happy about that. Need Yeo or Merret to really stink it up.

    Suso · 20/05/2017 at 23:35

    Remember Hannan!

Holty · 20/05/2017 at 20:33

There were talks in the community bringing Greenwood in this week. Wonder if anyone did? If so, i would of called you stupid before the game. Now im calling you a genius.

    Iamme · 20/05/2017 at 20:44

Yeah I did, as I didn't want a donut….only trade this week still got 22

      gator59 · 20/05/2017 at 20:47

I brought him in as well

    Bells E Bubb · 20/05/2017 at 21:51

I did and onfield. Didn’t fancy Myers.
Grnwd quiet second half. Should get another game tho.

    KSinny · 20/05/2017 at 22:10

Brought him in to avoid a donut, not disappointed

    Blaknight · 20/05/2017 at 23:57

I went early on him and placed him on field too..

    Sad Lion · 21/05/2017 at 00:11

If only he could play against Brisbane every week

    The Ranger · 21/05/2017 at 01:03

Big shout to the Barron, I wouldn't have bought him in without his excellent rookie round ups over the last couple of years

    Thomas · 22/05/2017 at 11:44

I brought him in so i didn't have to play Hannan

    Weasel · 22/05/2017 at 14:28

In for Butler. Tackling numbers in SANFL were big.

TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 20:34

We have a new cash rookie. Enter Hugh Greenwood.

Bloody glad I saved my trades this week. I knew there was another gun rook coming.

3 goals and 63 SC at half time. Nice.

    Holty · 20/05/2017 at 20:44

He looks good. Also Adelaides not doing much to convince me they are a premiership threat. If the Lions could kick straight this game would be close

    neil Demons Delight · 20/05/2017 at 23:09

had the c on him but took dangers wonder if the extra 14 will bite me

    neil Demons Delight · 20/05/2017 at 23:12

in early with ryder bye butler and parsons

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 20:38

Barrett down to Greenwood and Otten to Harbrow next week sounds good to me

    Jim_bob321 · 20/05/2017 at 20:40

    Really? Barrett?

    Holty · 20/05/2017 at 20:42

Barretts on 50 at half time. Dont do it.

      Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 20:46

Oh really?! Maybe Marchbank down otherwise I don't know who I'll downgrade

        Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 20:47

        Or tommy Stewart

        Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 20:50

Yeah he's still got some money to make and 20 B/E too Josh

    Tommo09 · 20/05/2017 at 20:48

    Wait another week on Greenwood

Holty · 20/05/2017 at 20:46

Titch 26 touches to half time. You are a bloody pig

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 20:49

He's a pig, beastly wild boar…wish I bloody had him.

    TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 20:57

He is a pig made out of leather. 50 pozzies on the cards. So glad he is in my side. I am still happy with Danger's 151 VC job.

      Holty · 20/05/2017 at 21:32

Me too. Thought Titch might get the Greenwood tag otherwise would have put the vc on him.

The BONT · 20/05/2017 at 20:48

So happy I didn't go Danger over Titch for the C

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 21:09

Beams is flying.

TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 21:22

TOM MITCHELL = GUN

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 21:30

Pendles has caught him, 116 each.

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 21:25

Unbelieveable comeback from the Pies…go Pendles!

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 21:30

Treloar coming good too, 82 at 3/4 time.

    JohndJames · 20/05/2017 at 22:22

Loved the emotion between Pendles and Hodge.

      Millou · 20/05/2017 at 23:33

Poor old Hodgy. Been a great player in a great club but now very frustrated.

DavidSA · 20/05/2017 at 21:33

Big question is who is a premiership threat this year?
Bloody big call on any club u say

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 00:47

GWS all the way 4 mine.

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 21:51

Tipped pies and own Pendles lets goooo

Jack · 20/05/2017 at 21:52

Danger (c), Titch, Pendles, Dusty….midfield premiums going big

    Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 22:01

    Wish I had Titch

    Boltons Blues · 20/05/2017 at 22:05

Danger, Selwood (C), Titch, Treloar, Kennedy

    cheering right now

    Daniel · 20/05/2017 at 23:48

Danger (C), Titch, Pendles, Selwood, Treloar, JPK, an 87 from Barrett and Fyfe to come, What a Week!!

    The BONT · 21/05/2017 at 07:27

C was in Titch this week

    BlueNath · 21/05/2017 at 09:40

I only have Danger from that lot 🙁 But then again I'm top 3k and very happy with my team and trades remaining. Hoping for a top 1k finish. So I can't complain if I slide a bit this week (proj. 2240)

The Captain · 20/05/2017 at 21:56

Gonna be some big total scores this week
Whats a clanger minus off a players score is it a set amount?

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 22:00

    4 or 6 not sure.

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 21:57

Umpiring was atrocious this quarter. What a joke

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 22:01

That 50 metre should've been given, that was bizarre.

      DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 22:07

I didnt see Hawthorn get rewarded for a tackle once in the whole game also

      KSinny · 20/05/2017 at 22:21

It's no longer free kick Hawthorn, it's free kick against Hawthorn

TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 22:05

Who still owns Treloar?

I still have the little shi-t.

Stuck fat with not trading out premos.

The little shi-t delivered tonight. Still love ya! I knew you could do it.

Good boy

    Liam · 20/05/2017 at 22:18

    Me, will come home strong.

    Top Gun · 20/05/2017 at 22:44

I was cursing him when he was going nowhere on 48. Still hate his disposal but he knows how to get the ball.

    neil Demons Delight · 20/05/2017 at 23:02

good duel between inp and yourself paul 1 point and both have dangers and parsons to come close

Boltons Blues · 20/05/2017 at 22:06

almost traded that pig Treloar, thankfully i had other more pressing issues to worry about first

    Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 22:19

12k people bought out of him last week. Would be absolutely spewing now.

    TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 22:27

    Cudos

      Insta · 20/05/2017 at 23:31

      What's Cudos?

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 22:08

Traded out Beams over Treloar last week. We will have to see if this was the right call in the future but I lost about 20 points this week. Also never going to pick Adams in my team again what a dirty grub

    Mistro · 20/05/2017 at 23:30

You are a dill. Adams is ok.

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 00:03

I won't pick him again out of principle he is a dirty sniper

        Top Gun · 21/05/2017 at 08:13

        Just a simple jumper punch.

          Merv · 21/05/2017 at 10:14

          Worse than Cotchin?

            redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 12:58

nothing wrong with Cotchin's, he had hold of the jumper, so anything goes.
That's what we all learnt last week.

K-Bar · 20/05/2017 at 22:11

When you sub Barrett and take the C off mitchell to take advantage of a 150, then titch scores a 150 and barrett scores 88. FML

    Top Gun · 20/05/2017 at 22:46

    At least you have Mitchell

Derek · 20/05/2017 at 22:23

I'm glad I didn't bring Vickery in this week.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 22:42

So you decided on Zac Dawson instead? 🙂

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 23:59

You have to feel sorry for the bloke

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 00:06

I feel sorry for Hawthorn fans..and Freo fans

        The Ranger · 21/05/2017 at 01:04

I think Ty was hoping for a reverse Samson

TOPHAWK1 · 20/05/2017 at 22:26

Big thumbs up from me. I still do not own Pendles and Macrae. Not sure about the latter, but Pendles is now cherry ripe for the picking.

Tiger · 20/05/2017 at 22:32

Just wanted to confirm that you can use a Gold Coast or port player to put the C on so I can take Pendles score

    Finnius123 · 20/05/2017 at 22:48

    Yes you can do that

      Tiger · 21/05/2017 at 15:59

DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 22:33

Sitting on 1866 with Yeo, Merret, Marchbank, Sandi and Fyfe left. Also had Barret and Berry on the bench, so I could be higher. How is the community travelling?

    Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 22:36

    Predicted 2344

      DavidSA · 20/05/2017 at 22:41

1798 from 18 C Oliver, Fyfe, Sandi and Marchbank left

        DavidSA · 20/05/2017 at 22:41

        C on Oliver

    Iamme · 20/05/2017 at 22:42

16/1721 with Yeo, Marchbank, Sandi, Fyfe, Doc and Fisher remaining.

Well done there DefyingMadness that's huge!…going be some big scores this week, for a change.

      DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 22:44

Yeah trading in Greenwood over the donut has to be the highlight of my week

        Iamme · 20/05/2017 at 22:46

        Likewise

    Top Gun · 20/05/2017 at 22:47

Expect 2300 to be the average.

      DefyingMadness · 20/05/2017 at 23:09

I think it will be. A lot of huge scores and only one bad score from Parsons

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 22:53

Not too flash for me this week, sitting on 1616 with 6 to play. 2200 if I'm lucky.

    Doggy · 20/05/2017 at 23:04

Projected 2010, but have 238 in loopholes to be added , plus what ever sandi can score over strandicas 40 C projection.

    hedski · 20/05/2017 at 23:14

@1880 with 5 to play, already passed 2 of my last 3 weeks totals.

    Derek · 20/05/2017 at 23:56

going to be some big scores.

Buddy is my worst so far. But there is Sucky Sunday to come.

Top Gun · 20/05/2017 at 22:43

Pendles born again too 🙂

Joshua · 20/05/2017 at 22:51

16/1616 with Fyfe, Yeo, Docherty, Marchbank and Sandilands left. Also Parsons 47 (got stranadica on field) and Dangers 151 with the vc loophole

Yikes 2300 is par (top 10%) then by the looks….bogie coming up! 2268. (Running Witts + Harbrow, kept Rocky, so it was always going to be tricky). Given the donuts in the fwd line some have might be a spread of scores with some absolute monsters!

    Rick Grimes · 21/05/2017 at 06:26

I'm thinking I can pull 2300ish if things go well. I'd imagine that is par this round.

Tyruddanaut · 20/05/2017 at 23:04

14/1476 but to be 17/1801 with my Emergencies. So proud this week

Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 23:17

Hey guys, was wondering what are some of your regretful decisions you've made so far this season?
Worst trades you wish you could reverse and your best trades you're pretty happy with.
Mine are as follows….
Round 4: Taranto out for Witts- although Witts has been great and I still have him, I wish I still had Taranto too.
Smith (shoulder) to Newman- good trade.
Round 6: O'Meara to Oliver- good trade, O'Meara is now stuffed and Oliver is flying.
Roughead to Fisher- good trade only for generating cash, Fisher is a spud.
Round 7: Beams to Pendlebury, when Beams was out for 2 weeks, kinda happy, but kinda not too lol
Parfitt to Parsons: Trading out an injured spud for a non injured spud, make a little cash, ok trade.
Round 8: Treloar to Yeo: After tonight, maybe not such a good call, unless Yeo keeps scoring well..or reverts back to a yoyo.

Round 9: Butler to Stevens: was a choice between Stevens and Heeney and they both spudded, unsure trade.
Preuss to Soldo: to cover a ruck doughnut and make some money for next week, but Solvol is a spud I think.

Good decisions for the year besides the few I made have been, not getting Balic, Myers or Rockliff.
Bad decisions, not getting Berry, Barrett and Greenwood…and getting Hibberd, Pickett, Parsons, Eddy and Fisher.

    TigerNut · 20/05/2017 at 23:40

I started with Hogan. Poor bloke. Hope he recovers. Other than that been very good. Parsons is one of my only on field stains

      TigerNut · 20/05/2017 at 23:41

Ollie Wines. Also. He killed it first 4 rounds and been rubbish since.

      Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 23:43

He'll be ok mate, they detected it early, he could be back earlier than most people think. Testicular cancer surgery has a high success rate. My team is still littered with stains.

    Iamme · 21/05/2017 at 00:07

Good – not getting Balic, Hannan or Parsons, Taking captaincy risks to get ahead in the game and most of them paying off, picking up and playing Greenwood this round. Starting the season with Tmich, T.Adams, Sandi and Witts combo

Bad – rage trading out Hanners after 2 very ordinary performances for D.Beams instead of Oliver, Picking Shaw over Doc in my initial team, starting my season with Picket, Eddy and Hibberd

      wightyswarriors · 22/05/2017 at 17:04

Hanners…sc101 re side trading guns..always comes back to bite you,,,mind you Burgoyne….!!

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 00:08

Omeara to Swallow has to be the worst one by far.

      Cam_H · 21/05/2017 at 00:23

Set and forget rucks: Gawn and Goldstein.
Oh yeah … having to trade out five (lti) injured players by Round 6.

    Derek · 21/05/2017 at 00:29

Starting Cyril instead of Nank. Classic case of cognitive bias.

    Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 00:33

I traded Barrett for David swallow after his 106 and then traded swallow out three weeks later after realising how much he sucks. Two wasted trades – but apart from that shocker I have gone OK. Also went eddy to hannan after rd 1 – not that bad considering eddy hasn't done anything but then again neither has hannan so..

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 00:45

Cheers for your honesty guys, yeah the set and forget Ruck thing this year was a bit of a fallacy, aka, Guns N Rookies strategy, and a lot fell for Hannan's 96, and Swallow, and O'Meara…bloody spuds.
I usually always look back with regret about what I did and should've done, when I've plummeted down the rankings or run out of trades haha.
It's a fine balance between keeping up with the Jones's and saving enough trades to do what you need to do in the business end of the season, when premos get injured in the second week of the finals.
I'm still trying to get the formula right, good luck to all of you 🙂

    JohndJames · 21/05/2017 at 01:01

Hi Russty I might just stick with the trades that I am happy with, the others were neither bad or great.Round 3.Shaw to Adams and Crouch to Bont. Even though they were so called sideways/premo trades,I just decided that Adams and Bont were a must and Shaw and Crouch were not. Fast forward to this round, after a whole lot of downgrading did two upgrades.Hampton to Hanners and Eddy to T.Mitchell, did that feel good, hell yes and their tons made it feel even better, plus had the C on Mitch.Best decision made at the start was having Oliver in my team.Worst decision, having JOM.

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 01:22

Giday John, I think Shaw to Adams and Crouch to Bont, Hampton to Hanners and Eddy to Mitchell are excellent choices, and then the C on Tmitch….good stuff mate. I think a lot of peeps fell for Jom, me too but the guy's just a trainwreck.
You must've scored big this week?

        JohndJames · 21/05/2017 at 12:49

Hey Russty looking to just beat my round two score of 2310.if all my remaining players do as they should.I think my main regret would be having too many spud rookies at the start like Smithy, who was injured in his first game, poor guy and Pickett, Parfitt and Eddy and then having to use up valuable trades to replace them, with more spuds in Fisher, Balic and Parsons, who I still have, but will be traded out sooner rather than later.

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 01:10

I corrected Armitage rnd 1 into O'meara. #failarmy (why not Oliver? don't ask me). I culled Barrett and Newman a week before they recalled. FMSCL.

    Hardwick over Fisher perhaps? #goodishsofar
    #Harbrow week 8 pre-bye might just be the goods…..

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 01:24

Doesn't sound like you've done too many big mistakes Random…hard to forsee Oliver, I didn't pick him up until he was $503.000, the only reason I didn't dump Newman earlier was that I always had bigger fish to fry haha, only a fluke that I ended up with him and now he's come good.

        Mark · 21/05/2017 at 10:27

Traded goldy to grundy after his 40 (could have got Martin or mummy)
Got Jeremy Howe (could have got Lloyd from sydney)
Hoskin Elliot to Balic before his 125
Beams to pendles (had pendles as captain this week so I'm sorta happy)
        Treloar to Bont (bad trade)

        Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 20:26

        Thanks Rusty
It's that by not going Armo to either of Oliver or Murphy I cost myself trades in getting to full premo. Barrett and Newman out and Pickett is still warming my bench. They are relatively straight forward switches which would have going into the byes well set. Oh well, next year!

    BockChoy · 21/05/2017 at 13:03

Easy… trading Newman out late last week when he was dropped from the team only for him to come in late and score a 151 and leave me short with all that wonderful cash generation.

Funny, I was feeling pretty good about the trade when Berry scored 71 but that soon turned sour!

    Winter · 21/05/2017 at 14:16

Starting without O'Meara & Swallow even though they were hyped up all pre-season. Starting with Nankilands in the ruck has very well payed off.

Had Sloane, Rocky & Docherty in the whole pre-season but instead started with Hanners, Treloar & Shaw. Starting Roughead, Smith and Hibberd also never did any good. Also wish I started Macrae.

    Doggy · 21/05/2017 at 15:09

My first 5 trades were 4 corrective rookies who got dropped after 1 game, and maxy Gawn LTI.

    Starting heater over docherty

Looking for value in the backline and taking z. Jones over Lloyd 3 weeks ago.

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 17:01

Top trades of the year were during rounds 4 and 3 but I don't know which ones match up
In: Oliver, Nank, Adams, Some rookie
Out: Touhy, Hanners, JOM and Parfitt

    redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 17:31

best trade, Pedersen in last week. Pumping out 100+. Did it on advice from podcast. Unsure what will happen when a true ruck comes back, but if he drops back i will have made more cash from him than most of my rookies.

      Doggy · 21/05/2017 at 19:21

I wanted to jump on him, but it would've completely ruined my round 11

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 20:14

I did the same Herring, and stoked about it, made 40 k last week..and more to come this week. 🙂 good left field choice pod I reckon.

    Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:30

Starting Parker, Shaw, Swallow, J.Smith didn't help me at all. I suppose the only couple of good things to happen is starting with Titch and trading in the Nank

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 22:11

Starting with Titch is probably one of the best moves of the year Danners, I didn't unfortunately, but i'll get him at some stage, what a gun.

    Rivo · 22/05/2017 at 07:39

So many mistakes, here are just a few…

    1 Started with Swallow & Omera;
    2.Traded Newman in and then traded him out;
    3. Missed Beams Oliver & Murphy. Started with M.Crouch;
    4. Went Treloar over Bont, Dusty, Rocky & Merrett;
    5. Started Picket over Petrevski-Seaton.

    Hubba · 22/05/2017 at 19:10

I swapped n eddy for mccarthy…. pfft… swapped swallow for wines after round 5… pfft…started with too many mid pricers again after saying I'd never again start off with mid pricers. ….

Micro · 20/05/2017 at 23:28

Hey you guys, it is going to be a big week. Are you insecure. Do you need a hug. Do you want a pat on the back. Jock's community is about helping each other not bragging how well you are going.

    Russty_ · 20/05/2017 at 23:34

Yeah I'll take a hug, and a pat on the back Micro, cause you're a nice guy ain't ya?….you're not a sarcastic A-Hole at all.

Hahaha couldn't be further from the truth, with everything you've said, I've played Footy, Cricket, Golf, Cycled and Surfed my whole life dumbass, only reason I'm not playing 18 holes right now is cause it's raining.
Why aren't you out playing sport right now? Is it cause you're sitting at home on your computer with no life? haha

That you didnt put the e on Stef Martin after using the captains loophole.
RIP 107 points and welcome do the donut.

Ouch mate that's hard to read

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 09:52

Dear ooooh dear. Did you get distracted when you loopholed the VC?

The job is NEVER done until you complete 2 moves.

MOVE 1- Switch Witts/Stradnica onto the field with Stef going onto the bench. (Thats how far you got mate)

MOVE 2- Put the E on Stefan Martin.

I know I am being a bit condescending, but come on mate!!

You are not in the Guns and Rookies league are you?

      Noirlust · 21/05/2017 at 10:24

Already had Martin on the bench ready to go, and set up up my rookie loophole options before the game.
I thought everything was good to go, just didnt check over it. Even put the C on Strandica right after the Cats Game and still didnt notice. =(

    Derek · 21/05/2017 at 10:16

Yep. We have all done that.

The one I hate is when you put E on someone else and it takes it from another because there is 4 max,

      Noirlust · 21/05/2017 at 10:25

I feel like this may have been the case, i am usually solid with these things.
      Lesson learned thats for sure.

        Derek · 21/05/2017 at 11:37

Loopholing is a risk, especially a Sunday game late out and you have already taken your E score.

          INPieman · 21/05/2017 at 13:02

Bugger Noirlust. But many of us are munching donuts this week. Welcome to the club

    yes.

      Davo · 21/05/2017 at 01:32

      Thanks Finnius

Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 01:17

Does anyone else reckon that Newman could be a keeper? Average of 95 and getting better every week. Could be a decent D6 and save us a few trades.

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 01:27

I'm thinking so, and hoping so Finnius, he seems to have secured his spot now with his last 2 performances, ( rookie of the year maybe) cause my backline is still weak as Pish….I still have Otten, Hampton and Newman holding the fort.

      DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 02:57

Newman when hits 450k I will see then what I do

    SCdonkey · 21/05/2017 at 11:08

If i still had Newman he'll be good for D7 as bench cover in my team. Swinging lil Hibberd from mid-back with Lloyd or Adams.

    Derek · 21/05/2017 at 11:34

Newman is my gravy train to Docherty

Luke · 21/05/2017 at 03:11

Given how beams return was great, scoring 130+, as well as a lack of cash generation, would it be logical to trade him in after his bye as an m8 keeper for around 500k instead of a more pricey gun such as bont/sloane/merrett? Or is there too much risk involved?

    Top Gun · 21/05/2017 at 08:19

He's a gun but I still prefer getting other premo mids.

    SC_Kev7 · 21/05/2017 at 09:25

21 contested. Did the grunt work with Rocky missing. Luxury trade when your team is full premo

      Derek · 21/05/2017 at 11:33

Let's see how long Rocky is out for

    Pman · 21/05/2017 at 10:46

Too much risk for mone, I never trade players back i that I've previously traded out after getting burnt badly by Roackliff a few seasons back. I wouldn't be going back to Beams.

Then the action begins, lift Yeo you prick!…Whats going on with Sandi today?….Why aren't they kicking it to JJK?? Bloody Darling kicking all the goals….Fyfe!! WTF? 8 SC points at quarter time…..

And then the downward score revisions begin. At half time its like, well with a bit of luck I should get to 2250. Then at full time, its I cant friggin believe this, I ended up with 2088!! f%#K me. This is BS.

    Its Sunday……Good luck all.

      SCdonkey · 21/05/2017 at 11:17

      Bloody Sunday aye!!

I have Hannan to play, well I'm not expecting much from him. I hope he can play one more game so i can downgrade him to Greenwood just before the price rise.

Myers also still to play, praying he can score like he did last game or better.

As for my premos and keepers. It's Sunday! Bloody Sunday! Will just have to see what they can produce for me and accept it. It has been like that this season so far.

wightyswarriors · 21/05/2017 at 09:52

Oh dear…I think I reached a new height in sc stupidity. Desperate for a win, but also one eye on the byes…went Butler to Caddy sat morning (with Parfitt to Durdin). Along with Burgoyne dropping a very large and long brown smelly thing on me….season is in danger….no pun !!! Please feel free to chastise my stupidity for not waiting to trade till the last moment…lesson all.

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 10:11

That is a classic trap in Supercoach. Many coaches get burnt like that at some point. You trade out a player before and replace him with a named player on Thursday. You think, perfect, no dramas. The round commences, and trades can then no longer be reversed.

Then the final benches get announced 80 minutes before the bounce………

    Final interchanges- GWS VS Richmond
    Late changes- GWS – nil
Late changes- Richmond- Josh Caddy (Ilness) replaced by Anthony Miles.

And OOOOHHH SH-IT, your heart sinks to the floor. Now I am stuck with that Caddy prick!!!! Its the worst bloody feeling.

It caught me out a few years ago, and I vowed never ever to trade until after the late changes are announced by the team I want to trade in a player from.

Just a quick question mate, what were you thinking wanting to trade in Josh Caddy in the first place? He has the world record for turd deposits in the first half a dozen rounds this year! He bloody burnman and he burnt you without even taking the field! Just had to throw that one in. Couldn't help myself. Hehe

But I do feel your pain mate. Hope you can find a way to rectify this setback quickly.

    Cheers mate.

      Matho · 21/05/2017 at 10:21

DT better because it is set and forget. How do you people find the time to watch out before every game? I like footy/SC but there are a lot of things to do over the weekend too you know like playing sport, a movie etc

          Daniel Z · 21/05/2017 at 12:53

SC used to lock out too and I would prefer it as well.
I live in Ontario, Canada, so I don't really have a chance to check on the late changes when it's the middle of the night…

wightyswarriors · 21/05/2017 at 09:55

How did I come second in first finals ??

TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 10:25

I'VE RIPPED UP MY RICHMOND MEMBERSHIP. THE LEAGUE CAN GO AND GET STUFFED. THE SELECTION COMMITTEE AT THE TIGERS IS RIDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. THE UMPIRES ARE A JOKE. THE LEAGUE IS A JOKE. CONSTANTLY CHANGING THE RULES. THIS ISN'T AFL ANYMORE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I WATCH A RICHMOND MATCH UNLESS IT'S A GRAND FINAL. I PROBABLY WON'T LIVE TO SEE THAT DAY. IT WILL PROBABLY BE A NIGHT GRAND FINAL BECAUSE THE LEAGUE CHANGE'S EVERY RULE THEY POSSIBLY CAN SO OUR GAME IS NO LONGER AUTHENTIC. I'M DONE TIGERS. NICE KNOWING YA

    Pman · 21/05/2017 at 10:43

I thought Richmond fans put their memberships in the microwave rather than ripping them up? Either way I can't say I blame you as Richmond are rubbish and massive chokers.

    INPieman · 21/05/2017 at 11:23

Don't worry tigernut. Your still a chance for 9th

      TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 12:11

If you'd watched the last 3 tigers games from start to finish. To lose by less than a kick in each of them. The tigers were robbed last night. Shai Bolton kicked that goal it wasn't touched. He shouldn't even be in the side for starters. Too young and skinny. What did he do for us? Stuff all. Soldo? What did he do? Look pretty? Didn't do that either. Yet leave Lennon on the pine. At least he provides a bloody contest. Martin had more disposals than Grimes, Soldo and Bolton combined. The selection committee have no idea

        DacZawson · 21/05/2017 at 12:43

I think you just "see" what you want to see, Bolton's shot was definitely touched

        Daniel Z · 21/05/2017 at 12:55

Yeah mate, your issues have very little to do with the league and officials.
They're a team that needs confidence to play well; as soon as the seeds of doubt are planted, a collapse is inevitable.
I hope this doesn't come across as mean but it just seems they don't have that killer instinct.

      SigmundFreuds Mum · 23/05/2017 at 15:05

9th place shows potential for the year after….lol.
Nah, give it all up now Tigernut, that would be best.
The team is a disaster, combined with much bigger issues at Tigerland that just can't be fixed.
      Get out now.
And as I always say…love your mother

    The Benchmark · 21/05/2017 at 11:57

    Hahahahhahaha love it
Such a tough team to barrack for.
And I thought I was bad for thinking about unliking them on Facebook. Then I thought I'd probably get burnt by them once again by missing a late change and ruining my SuperCoach team

    Gaz · 21/05/2017 at 13:09

Yep it was very hard to watch but in the end it comes down to the depth in the list – Bolton is a way off but has talent. Soldo is a work in progress. Missed Vlaustin and the backline were amazingly good – just need another key forward. Rance was incredibly good.

      Cogla13 · 22/05/2017 at 09:06

Yeh, they are already targeting Schache and Sam Reid. Desperately need another key forward.

    INPieman · 21/05/2017 at 13:03

90 nice. But I'm happy with the 87

TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 11:21

Hi community,

Who still owns Adam Treloar?

He produced one of his best performances of the season last night. (125) Once again, it just goes to prove that trading out premos with a temporary form slump will more than often bite you, and bite you hard.

Another classic example are those coaches who traded out Hannebery earlier this season. How is he going these days? Well, he scores big tonnes for fun now.

Adam Treloar is a seriously good footballer. Despite my obvious frustrations in the earlier rounds, I have stuck fat with him, and bloody happy I did so. He might just do a 'Dan Hannebery" or better.

    Derek · 21/05/2017 at 11:29

I admit I traded him last week. The injury worried me more than his form slump. Traded him to Rance last week, very sideways but I did have concerns it wasn't just his ankle.

    hedski · 21/05/2017 at 11:50

Held Treloar but punted Beams two weeks back (Pendles).

      TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 12:19

Got rid of Beams as well……for Hannebery. Woohooo!!

    SCdonkey · 21/05/2017 at 11:52

Only 1 game mate after his little rest. Never in my mind or will ever doubt of letting him go, pretty happy of what i have done with my trades.

St Nick was another when he got injured the first round traded him out for JJK. St Nick comes back and tonned up and never had i ever doubted my decision to cull him right away.

We all make decisions because it feels right and if the players you trade in doesn't score well. Don't start calling him a spud, you must have done a research before bringing him in.
    E.g. i brought in
    Hibberd scores a 56
    Pendle scores a 99 and 76
    Macrae scores a 84
Yeo well..!! His been doing me service
Those were players i traded in since offloading Trealor

    GLOATHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 11:59

      Whatever keyboard warrior…..

    BockChoy · 21/05/2017 at 13:12

Started with Treloar and have kept him. Only premo to be traded out is because of injury (Rocky). Have also stuck fat with Pendles, JPK and Hanners despite some indifferent form from them.

Very happy to pass on Danger ($716k) at the start of the season and pick him up (plus $30k cash) in a straight swap for Rocky and with a sweet added bonus, also help out my Round 11 byes scenario.

    Ruddigar · 21/05/2017 at 13:15

Collingwood are just so unreliable and it seems to be mainly due to their reluctance to take risk. They all look so much better when they take the game on. It should be a team rule to always play on and take that risky kick into the corridor if it leads to a turn over live with it but that slow shit scared backwards and sideways stuff gives them no chance at all.

Also drop fasolo he is pooooo

Willie Rioli 4 goals from 16 touches even with playing limited time on ground. Could be a good downgrade option.

    INPieman · 21/05/2017 at 12:22

Is it worth trading Marchbank to M Hibberd at this late stage. I know Marchbank still has some cash to make, however, currently behind in my league matches and bringing Hibberd might get me over the line or should I hold until next week.

    Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 14:40

    SF4 · 21/05/2017 at 19:39

    Nope

    Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:35

KPP, kicked 0.6 one game, has never averaged over 70. Better cheaper forwards around

Gogz · 21/05/2017 at 14:38

Captain Conundrum: Neale, Docca, Fyfe or Murphy… thanks community!!

    Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 14:39

Neale has a projected of 130 odd. He is in great form and has played well against Carlton in the past. Back him in.

      Gogz · 21/05/2017 at 14:42

I've had C on him all week but thinking he might get a heavy tag from Ed Curnow… the only thing stopping me!

        Deeboss · 21/05/2017 at 14:57

        Go Docherty mate….

Luke · 21/05/2017 at 14:46

Do I get in Hibberd at the expense of Marchbank or do I hold off for around Byes to do the move? 20 trades left and only $85,300 left before the trade.

    Tommo09 · 21/05/2017 at 15:42

Got him in 2 weeks ago

DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 14:48

Anyone thinking of trading out micro next week
Thinking a can make about 120k by painting the fence with the micro pecker

    Rondo · 21/05/2017 at 14:53

Who is Micro? Whoever he is yes, because he is too small?

HonestJohn · 21/05/2017 at 15:08

All of those Bombers that I named and shamed yesterday are having seasons best games today, except myers. Maybe they're avid readers of the fat chew?

    DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 15:11

No according to you logic this means they just injected again

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 15:14

      Maybe they are?

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 15:15

Yeo on 50 at 3 quarter time, Sucky Sunday booiii

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 15:50

Disgraceful effort by the eagles today. Top score Gaff with 91. I have Yeo and JJK. Both finished with 70 and 72 respectively. Very very ordinary. Sucky Sunday in all its glory.

      Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 15:52

Will back in Yeo for a good performance next week at DS against the Giants tho

      Derek · 21/05/2017 at 16:00

NicNat will change that team. Will he be back?

        Cogla13 · 22/05/2017 at 09:16

Petrie will be back next week. Shame for all those who traded in McInnes.

          Loop · 22/05/2017 at 10:54

Vardy looked hurt yesterday. Maybe McInnes will be safe.

      Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 17:03

I agree. They are meant to be a top 8 side only to be smashed.
      No standout players whatsoever

hedski · 21/05/2017 at 16:07

Man I suck at CK.

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 17:36

I am actually doing OK today. 43rd at 3 quarter time. just need Goldy to have a big last quarted as he is the charged up player.

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 22:13

I went and played Golf so, didn't get to rev or rotate, even if I had I still would've sucked at it…lol, not my forte.

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 16:20

I like Fraser McInnes as a downgrade next week. All changes if Petrie comes in though

Dee · 21/05/2017 at 16:26

Hannan looking mint… I'll be happy with an 80 from him, keep going son!

Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 16:26

Whoever has Hannan onfield would be pretty happy at the moment. Bloke is well past his BE and average at HT. Couple of weeks of cash gen left in him.

    BrownlowBoy · 21/05/2017 at 16:48

Only had him onfield the last 6 weeks. Bout time.

      redgumwon · 21/05/2017 at 19:40

Same and today was pay day. Hannan got me over the line in my money league

    TheGreatBozza · 21/05/2017 at 16:53

I'm annoyed I left him off for Parsons as my opponent has him so I thought I'd try breakeven as our match is close.

But I'm absolutely thrilled I can milk more cash from him. I'm legitimately struggling getting cash gen from my forward rookies so let's hope Hannan can get closed to $300k

DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 16:35

Looks like redherring will beat me he just needs 107 from pedersen to win

DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 16:35

Has played the least minutes on field out of any Demons player

    hedski · 21/05/2017 at 16:40

Might have been that weak jab burnman Higgins gave him.

redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 16:38

A very rare request, but can someone please tell me how many Pederson has at half time. AF has him on 73, but i know that can be out by a lot. I need 107 from him. Thanks.

    DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 16:40

    72 on fanfooty

      redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 16:48

      thanks.

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 16:41

Yeah I think you got me beat. Yeo chose a bad day to score poorly

      redherringfc · 21/05/2017 at 16:53

I thought i was going to lose right from Dangers 1st goal on Friday. i've felt like i was behind the whole weekend. I got very lucky putting the c on Mitchell.

      It's been a close one.

TheGreatBozza · 21/05/2017 at 16:46

Hannan on track for 100…I played Parsons over him thinking he wouldn't get near 47

DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 17:01

I would be surprised if Fyfe stays at Freo end of year
Team is a joke

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 17:17

Fyfe's mind is elsewhere. He has a huge ego apparently. He has a website called 'team Fyfe" which sells Fyfe Merchandise. I reckon the St Kilda merchandise has already gone into production.

      Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 17:57

You know St. Kilda was just a rumor right?

        Jimmy · 21/05/2017 at 18:51

He thinks he knows everything, and what he doesnt know he makes up.

          Thomas · 22/05/2017 at 12:10

          He was joking you goose

Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 17:05

I might be celebrating too early so touch wood, but Carlton are gunning. Against Freo in Freo should be losing by 10 goals already

    Ja191 · 21/05/2017 at 17:16

Freo aren't that good… their wins have been scrappy at best. Will not make top 8

Derek · 21/05/2017 at 17:09

For the last year and a half I've had to watch Docherty knowing I don't have him in my team. The torment!

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 17:11

    same here

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 17:14

That is torture! You going to get him after the byes? I think you will just have to pay the money for him mate. He just produces week in week out.

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 17:50

We might not have enough cash to pick him up

    Wombatsfc · 21/05/2017 at 19:34

Dude it's easy you're allowed to trade players in and out of your team. When you mouse over their names you'll see some letters appear, if you click on the 'T' a whole new screen opens up and you can choose a different player for that position. If you read a few posts you'll learn that you can also switch DPP players during the process.
If you mouse over your bench players you'll see 'E' 'S' 'T' the E means emergency if you click it and an onfield player doesn't play you'll get the emergencys score, the S means substitute which means you can switch that player onto the field and move somebody else onto the bench if you click it. After a year and a half you should have read the instructions or at least one or two posts here.

      Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 21:18

Idk why it got deleted…The doc was the most expensive defender this year and many started heater and/or simmo over him. Even now he is the most expensive and just too much for many to bring him in atm.

No need to be a smartass like that. Derek is one of the biggest contributors on these forums.

    kim · 22/05/2017 at 12:22

He only needs 1 off game of under 90 or even 80 to drop quite a lot in price every player has them doesnt matter how good they are look at danger, pendles, selwood, slone rocky etc etc. Just a waiting game with doch. Unfortunately you may not be able to get him when you want him eg round 12 but he is kinda a must have at this stage.

I started with him as i felt he would back up last year and average 105-110 so far its paid off. However i didnt start with adams and that decision has hurt me finally brought him in for marchbank this week.

Win some and lose some in this game. They don't call it supercoach for no reason, toughest season i have ever been involved in for sure esp for cash generation, alot of teams going to be in trouble in feel after the byes unless been super smart with trading e.g. sell high bye low.

Jimmy · 21/05/2017 at 17:19

Zac Fisher on 41 at quarter time.. had the chance to loophole him but I left him on my bench thinking he wouldn't get near Myers 60. He's looking to smash that!

    Tommo09 · 21/05/2017 at 17:20

    I had Barrett's 87
Thought no way he'll even get close

DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 17:21

Great week this one and the shitty Sunday's is a real thing

Next year will have to look real hard at these 1+ players in defence they are scoring huge for seagulls in skirts.

    Derek · 21/05/2017 at 17:28

Sucky Sunday. Looks like I'll score well over 2200 but will only win 2/10 leagues.

      DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 17:31

Doch enjoys the no attention in shit team scoring
He rebounds 90% for team and gets no tag? Bloody hilarious

TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 17:37

Fyfe is playing like a spaz. Lift you lazy prat.

    DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 18:50

do you provide running commentary all day? get a life mate

      redgumwon · 21/05/2017 at 19:32

Bit harsh David if you've got nothing nice to say maybe say nothing at all?

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 20:35

    Find some 2015 water please!

DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 17:48

Happy I went Hanners over Oliver this week.

hedski · 21/05/2017 at 17:53

Trigger I hope you captained the Doch.
84 1/2 time.

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 18:03

I hope so too. I told him that Fyfe was just ahead of the Doc…………I hope he has disregarded my opinion

    hedski · 21/05/2017 at 19:49

Didn't do much after that by the looks….

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 22/05/2017 at 09:18

    Sitting pretty 1st half.
    What the hell happened 2nd?

      hedski · 22/05/2017 at 10:24

Not sure if he got injured or what, only listened to last qtr on radio, he was on field then.

DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 18:31

Need Doch, Cripps and Murphy to get less than 319. Am I screwed?

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 18:42

The three combined sit at 242 at 3 quarter time. You have 76 points to play with. It is going down to the wire mate. Definately not screwed. Each player can score 25 each and you still win.

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 18:43

      Cheers mate

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 18:44

Good luck mate. You'll need it

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 18:59

I think I need a miracle at this point

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 19:15

I think I may have done it

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 19:42

Ended up winning my league by 1 point

Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 18:43

I am very happy with the Carlton Freo scores this week. Going in with Marchbank, Fyfe, Sandi and Doch with 3 of those looking to ton up

Juzzy · 21/05/2017 at 18:48

Walters is looking like the real deal.

    Dnoyes · 21/05/2017 at 19:21

So glad I took the punt on him 🙂 🙂

    Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:33

You can never trust Ross, though. Probably throw him in defence before you know it

      Dice · 22/05/2017 at 08:32

all in all if that's the case he's going to be a brilliant money maker

hedski · 21/05/2017 at 19:02

Looks like my desperation/shark move is gonna bite me in the clacker.
B.Hill, BE of 16 coming off two tons, $410k m/f DPP, good bye coverage, easy upgrade to a Macrae type in round 13 or keep F7/M9, 51 POINTS..
F U Curnow go to Neale ya prick.
Should have known Sucky Sunday.

LetsGo · 21/05/2017 at 19:16

Par this week?

    Doggy · 21/05/2017 at 19:18

    2300 probly mid range

      BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:25

Going to be some big scores around 2300 sounds about right

    Liam · 21/05/2017 at 19:49

    2250

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 20:34

    Agree 2300+

    BlueNath · 21/05/2017 at 20:36

Only 2 scores above 2300 in my league. I got 2180, which I know is unders. but 2250 seems par from the leagues I have seen

      Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 21:35

Par (top 10%) was 2221! Great work on picking it up that it wasn't 2300!

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 22:20

I got 2149 and dropped 1464 places so definitely well under par with that score.

TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 19:17

Gee Sandi was good today. Been hosing down in Perth and he still manages to tonne up. Not taking ya for granted mate! Worth your weight in gold.

Finnius123 · 21/05/2017 at 19:22

Final scores everybody? I finished up with a slightly disappointing 2198.

    Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 19:25

2288, thinking that is around average.

      Pman · 21/05/2017 at 19:27

2205 which was about 50 – 60 short of what I was expecting but good enough to win me 7/8 leagues.

      BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:27

      2410

        BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:42

        Got scaled to 2411 woohoo

    KSinny · 21/05/2017 at 19:29

    2274

    Ja191 · 21/05/2017 at 19:32

    2306

    Doggy · 21/05/2017 at 19:35

    2317

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 19:40

    2257 and bloody pleased.

This round was the week of the loophole for me. Did not trade this week. I know I am gonna need them later.

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 19:44

2308 was hoping I would get a bit higher but today was a bad day

      Dnoyes · 21/05/2017 at 19:50

Same for me. Got 2309 but was let down a bit today

    BockChoy · 21/05/2017 at 19:44

2279, was projected for more but is still my best score for the year.

    IntheNickofTime · 21/05/2017 at 19:51

2250, my best of the year. Just looking for improvement during a crazy season like this!

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:24

I think Jock and I shared the average this week with 2254

    Randomcliche2 · 21/05/2017 at 20:33

2262….not bad given Witts Harbrow and Rocky warming bench. #Bringonbyes!

    johnno2908 · 21/05/2017 at 20:44

2452… Extrememly happy with that, although I hope 2501 doesn't win this week as I didn't pull the trigger on marchbank to Hibberd.

      johnno2908 · 21/05/2017 at 21:11

FARK. 2501 would have won. No balls

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:09

    Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:32

2268, made up a bit of ground for once

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 22:21

    Can I just say….Dog's Bollocks? 🙂

BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:23

Cracked 2410 what are thoughts guys a good score? Ranked 303 would love to climb a few places

    TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 19:36

That is above par. No doubt. Excellent score.

You are going to move higher in the rankings. I ended up with 2257 which I am stoked with. I loopholed my ar-rse off this round after not trading this week. Two extra trades in the kitty will come in very handy from here. Good luck mate.

      BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:40

Still have 22 trades. Hannan was going to go this week but his good score means I can probably carry him through to his bye. Won't have to play him on field either as wits will be back and I can swing nank back to the fwds

      BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:41

First time I have ever been ranked this high it is kind of stressful but a good problem to have

        TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 19:45

Wow, you also have plenty of trades at your disposal . I still have 20. Bomber, if you play your cards right from here, you are a chance to push for Supercoach glory! What is the name of your team? BomberNoremac?

          BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:46

          Jammy bastards

            BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:50

Next few weeks will be telling got to negotiate the bye weeks first

              TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 20:25

Yep, the bye weeks. They define the season. That is where the pretenders, the fast starters, and the flash in the pan coaches get exposed.

Coaches who have 20+ trades, some cash, solid rookies, juicy fattened lambs, can now make their move.

              Good luck Jammy!

    Liam · 21/05/2017 at 19:51

You're going extremely well. Trade wisely and get a couple of PODs and you have a big change to take it out.

      BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:55

Kind of have a couple of pod's in tom Mitchell and Kelly from gws in mids had them from m the start they are the ones that have really powered me up the ranks I think. Not sure who my last premo mid should be Rockliff, hanners. Pendlebury or Neale?

        BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:55

Although I think a lot a starting to jump on Mitchell

        Liam · 21/05/2017 at 20:08

        Pendles.

    Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:03

That's a rippa score Noremac. Many top 1000 coaches suffered during the last few weeks with so many wild scores under par allowimg the POD teams to rise ahead but this round has shown a return to form for many of us. I got a 2303. I'd guess you will be close to 200ish. GL

    Cogla13 · 22/05/2017 at 09:42

Great score, you should go up a few places. I got 2267 and went up 3500 places to be about 12K.

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 19:53

Tom Stewart to Mcinnes and either Otten or Marchbank to Harbrow or Hibberd I'm thinking. Defence has a lot of work to do but one more spot left for MID and FWD. Taranto and SPP holding down those last spots well though.

    BomberNoremac · 21/05/2017 at 19:59

I think hibberd has a higher ceiling than harbrow and still quite cheap

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 20:04

Harbrow is better because of the bye

TOPHAWK1 · 21/05/2017 at 19:54

Wow, we have a tie in Trigg's Happy Place league. Rick Grimes and Dontblushbabie tied at 2264 a piece. Glad I avoided you two this week as I would have fallen 3 points short on 2261.

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:22

Haha I guess 2264 is the lucky number this week! I lost to someone who you didn't name by 10 points and I got 2254

    Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 10:28

Lost a couple weeks back by 1 point, too. I was kinda lucky Hannan pumped out a very unexpected 85.

Josh · 21/05/2017 at 19:57

First good score all year and without shaw, Simpson, Dahl and Heeney posting good scores, sorry to the mid price madness league for dragging our average lately hopefully a sign of things to come.

Stanks21 · 21/05/2017 at 20:08

2,198 without Dalhaus, Yeo, Shaw and Fyfe going over 100. Plus had the captain on Oliver who didn't perform to his standard… Overall happy with my score, haven't been under 2100 for a couple of weeks now.

Chippa888 · 21/05/2017 at 20:08

I am dirty as!!!! Missed a league win due to not getting emergency points for having SPP on field. Thought I could loop hole him grrrrrrrr.

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:17

You actually can and it's what gave me the win. I'm not sure what happened with yours

    BockChoy · 21/05/2017 at 20:19

Just wish to check the obvious… you did have the E tag on your player?

      Chippa888 · 21/05/2017 at 20:21

      Yeah had it on barrett

    Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:20

You could loop Port GC players.. what exactly went wrong?

    Doc · 21/05/2017 at 20:23

    You can.
As long as you had the E on a mid bench you'll get there score.
I did the same with witts.

    Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:23

SC site is running a bit slow.. take a breather and look again in an hour. Might be corrected then.

      Chippa888 · 21/05/2017 at 20:30

Hope so. SPP has a black zero by his name, and Barrett definitely has the purple E on him so fingers crossed.

BockChoy · 21/05/2017 at 20:12

Time for the Herald Sun to cough up for a few new servers – they seem to be struggling with the load at present.

    Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:18

Yeah.. with almost 100k less in the comp this year as well.

    DavidSA · 21/05/2017 at 20:22

And that's why I don't pay to have gold access
Access to what? Laziness is what

KSinny · 21/05/2017 at 20:14

Haha same mate jumped on him and fielded him

Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:14

Ill still be waiting till he plays 2.

Next rd will have a greater impact on his price rise as the score will remain for 2 calculations rather than one. This weekends opposition may have been influencial to his ton. Lots to consider.

Well done on taking the punt though.

Matchstick · 21/05/2017 at 20:20

I'll grab him if he does well again next game. Too risky before his first game and even after one game. There have been many examples of that and experienced coaches usually wait and see.

    Stanks21 · 21/05/2017 at 20:31

I am experienced mate. Have been watching him in the SANFL all year and knew when he came in he would be good.. better having him then Myers haha!

Josh · 21/05/2017 at 20:20

Didn't have donuts, didn't need him. Will probably take Barrets place round 11 for me just when he's on the bubble and proven.

Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:25

Two weeks of average scores sees me drop 10 spots in my leagues

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:25

    10 spots on average

poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 20:27

G'day community,

Hope everyone had a good round, certainly was much better than the last couple! Finished on 2188 which is 8th highest in my league, so I think it's under par for the week.

Plusses: Had VC on Danger, but then so did 90% of teams by the sounds of it. Not having Parsons on field. The return of Treloar. Pendles' lack of sleep helping him focus on being a superbeast again. Rookies back to life again in Hannan, Berry & Barrett.

Minuses: Had Hampton on field instead of either Stewart or Marchbank. Heater again cold, someone pay the frickin power bill. Simmo spudding. Buddy playing only the second half. Heeney with glandular relapse.

On the horizon: R11 ground zero – at this stage have only 14 warm bodies based on who played this weekend. Highly unlikely I will field full 18. Unsure of trades at this early stage but will be looking closely at Port players.

Questions:
1. Need to get Nank back in fwd line this week so maybe looking at Soldo as R3 – what's his JS like?
2. Is Newman suitable as a D6 for the remainder of the season?
3. Is Balic a hold or gone for the season?
4. Why the bloody hell did I trade Fox and Eddy in? (actually don't answer that)

Current Team:

DEF: Adams, Simmo, Rance, Heater, Hampton, Newman (Marchbank, Stewart)
MID: Danger, Pendles, JPK, Fyfe, Treloar, Barrett, Berry, Fisher (Balic, Fox, Myers)
RUC: SandiWitts (Nank)
FWD: Macrae, Dahl, Buddy, Roughy, Heeney, Hannan (Parsons, Eddy)

Any advice welcome, thanks all!

    Hoot · 21/05/2017 at 20:37

You forced yourself a 2nd trade by moving Nank in to R2. May have top go Soldo now that there's no one else. Goldy or Martin would have been better options at one trade for Witts. You have secured Witts at R2 for the whole season in the process.

Now it's eddy out… nank to Fwd and get a cheap ruck. Dpp if possible.

Drop Marchbank and get a rookie (build cash for rd 11 bye).

    Assuming moneys tight.

      Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:52

Strndica looks nice. I will probable get him in this week in R3 to prepare for the byes

      poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 22:38

I moved Nank to R2 to cover Witts + get Heeney in. Yes Heeney spudded this week but I still think he'll be top 6 fwd from here on so I'm OK with that trade. I've got $358K in the bank so I'm torn between getting Soldo or a premo (but with Witts as R3 that means too much $$$ on the pine) so if I do that then Soldo it is. However maybe I leave rucks as they are until after byes for ruck cover and concentrate on other areas. Maybe Balic out, swing Macrae to mid, bring in Ryder as a keeper? Av 97, 3 round av 116, BE of 36, lowest score 75, had his bye. Also has DPP. At the moment he would be my F4 based on averages YTD (ahead of Buddy).

    Tyruddanaut · 21/05/2017 at 20:51

    1. Soldo is the best rookie ruck but his JS is quite low.
    2. He is going to be the last spot that I fill so I have more time to decide but I will most likely trade him out later
    3. Gone. He has poor JS and won't score enough to justify himself.
    4. I ask myself that every week

    Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 20:59

I am looking at possibly trading marchbank to howe this week. Gives you another keeper and another player in the r11 bye. Has bottomed out now at around 450k and looks like a great buy in.

    poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 23:03

OK so have done the following:

    OUT Balic IN Soldo
    OUT Marchbank IN Howe

Leaves me $373K & 16 trades, and 16 (at this stage) warm bodies for R11.

    Team:

DEF: Adams, Howe, Rance, Simmo, Heater, Newman (Stewart, Hampton)
MID: Danger, Pendles, JPK, Macrae, Fyfe, Treloar, Barrett, Berry (Fisher, Fox, Myers)
    RUC: SandiWitts (Soldo)
FWD: Dahl, Buddy, Nank, Roughy, Heeney, Hannan (Parsons, Eddy)

      Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:11

      I like it mate

poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 20:30

Gee whiz you're tempting the SC gods mate – I hate to say it but you'll be vomiting if he gets injured in the first quarter next week…if he's named (remember Newman earlier in the season?). Well done though all the same, just hope it doesn't come back and bite you in the crackers…

    Stanks21 · 21/05/2017 at 20:34

Like i said to the other guy. I had been watching him for weeks in the SANFL and knew what he would bring.. plus im 3 players off full premo so can afford to take a punt at this point

Derek · 21/05/2017 at 20:30

Well done Sassy Foods. Ranked 38 before this week, knocks out a 2384. What will your rank be?

    neil Demons Delight · 21/05/2017 at 22:03

      Moustachio · 22/05/2017 at 17:10

Harbrow not gonna do much for your value long term mate

Jim_bob321 · 21/05/2017 at 21:21

Waiting for footywire to update..

Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:25

Who would have thought that the top 5 players by Round 10 would feature Neale, Titch, and Murphy. Just one of those seasons

    LetsGo · 21/05/2017 at 21:54

Titch I backed in the have a great season, so whilst pleasing, its not exactly surprising. The other two though yes, bit of a shock

      Danners · 21/05/2017 at 22:31

Same, I wouldn't have thought Titch would be this good though, I remember early on when Jock was suggesting to maybe trade him out

        Doggy · 21/05/2017 at 22:33

Yeah, there was an article by jock on a footy site, said get rid of all Hawkes players

Don't Blush Baby · 21/05/2017 at 21:29

Marchbank down to McInnes – thoughts on JS ? theres not much on offer down back unless we take the punt McNeice playing again or maybe use a Loopy Donut ?"

    Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 21:34

    I'm going Stewart to Mcinnes

      TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 22:47

I would go against it. Big risk for a 155k player. Should be trading Marchbank up not down

Danners · 21/05/2017 at 21:32

And watch everyone get burnt! Low JS, and 3 goals helped pump up his score

Whitey · 21/05/2017 at 21:37

Forwards are a nightmare this year. Have Mcrae, Dalh, Nank, who should I beaiming for from here on? Is Roo a has been for SC?

    Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 21:40

Mitch Wallis looked good in his 1st game back

      neil Demons Delight · 21/05/2017 at 21:56

his kick to handball ratio poor 8 kicks but good pick up after 11

    Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:03

The flog toby green could be a good pick. A good chance he will take my last place up forward

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 21:44

Stewart (BE 54), Marchbank (BE 98) and Otten (BE 80) on the chopping block this week.

    Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 21:46

Thinking Stewart stays, Otten and Marchbank gone

    neil Demons Delight · 21/05/2017 at 21:54

    all three will bleed

    SF4 · 21/05/2017 at 21:56

I'm hoping to hold Stewart atleast until Scharenberg comes in. I expect him to be in the side this week as he has had 34, 34 and 41 in his last 3 games in the VFL.

Jim_bob321 · 21/05/2017 at 21:45

What do u guys think of T Stewart to Roberton?
Not too sure about Roberton but is relatively cheap
Maybe Jake Lloyd?

    Stanks21 · 21/05/2017 at 22:17

Good trade. Roberton gets a lot of the ball and kicks a lot. One of the main rebound defence guys at st kilda

    Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 22:32

I think Lloyd over Roberton Jimbob, very solid this year…bit worried how the Saints are gonna go after this week.

    poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 23:09

Depends on your bye strategy, both r11 so you'll only have them for one week before the break (which doesn't matter really if they're keepers I spose) but if you're like most you'll have a few out in r11. Hard to say without knowing your team and how you view the byes.

    Junior Fiction · 23/05/2017 at 15:12

Can you get them both JB?
    Both nicely priced still.

Stanks21 · 21/05/2017 at 21:52

2,198 this week.

Laird, Adams, Hibberd
Shaw, Roberton, Tuohy
(VW, Stewart)

Oliver, Pendlebury, Kennedy
Yeo, Fyfe, Zorko
Barrett, Greenwood
(PP, Fisher, Hibberd )

Martin, Nankervis

Green, Dalhaus, Franklin
Steele, Burton, Parsons
(Hayward,Eddy)

18 trades left and 142,000 in bank.

Any ideas on what to do? Im only about 3 or 4 off full premo

    Moustachio · 22/05/2017 at 08:39

    Get Danger.

    Jumper Puncher · 23/05/2017 at 15:16

Get Yeo forward for Parsons, Dusty in at a bargain price.
    Ditch PP and Barrett

DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:06

Not sure if I should be making some trades this week here is my team. I am considering Otten and Marchbank to Harbrow and McInnes which would leave me with 100k for the byes. However my cash is running dry so getting Bont/ Pendles/ Selwood as my last mid and Doch in the defence will be tough. Have 4k in the bank currently and 17 trades before doing anything. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Defenders
Laird, Adams, Rance,
Shaw, Marchbank, Otten
(Berry, Stewart)

Midfielders
Danger, Tmitch, Zerret, JPK,
Fyfe, Treloar, Hanners, Taranto
(Barret, Balic, SPP)

Rucks
Sandi, Witts, (Strn)

Forwards
Yeo, Macrae, Dahl
Heeney, Nank, Greenwood
(Eddy, Parsons)

    TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 23:19

Team is looking solid mate for 17 Trades. I'd flick Barrett to Daniel Lloyd if you want to be aggressive. Then Upgrade Marchbank or Otten. Both of them last mentioned have to go. Will start leaking coin. You could upgrade to a Hurley for that or Jake Lloyd possibly

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 23:25

Did you mean Balic?…Barrett still has cash to make and just got 87.

        DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 23:50

Yeah we should be keeping Barret for a while

    Jumepr Puncher · 23/05/2017 at 15:21

How close are you to going Taranto and PP for Dusty and a rook?

Tommo09 · 21/05/2017 at 22:15

Who are the main downgrade options this week?
Stewart and McInnes are pretty expensive

I want to trade Balic (FWD) and Stewart (DEF)

    Ja191 · 21/05/2017 at 22:18

Greenwood if you wanna go early, apart from that not much

    wombatsfc · 21/05/2017 at 22:44

155k for a def/fwd who also rucks is a bargain. He absolutely killed in JLT and will only get better as games go by in the real stuff

      Brett H · 22/05/2017 at 10:40

The JS for McInnes is the issue.

He tried really hard, and looked good around the ground – but the WCE got monstered in the hit-outs and clearances.

Also, Petrie played his first game back yesterday, and apparently Lycett is 1 -2 weeks away.

Does McInnes retain his spot after this next game?

        Cogla13 · 22/05/2017 at 11:59

        No

    Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:00

Lloyd from gws i on the bubble

    Bells · 22/05/2017 at 12:13

Shai Bolton scored okish in his first game. DPP and low price is well handy.

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 22:22

Hibberd or Harbrow will be a popular argument this week I think.

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:28

Harbrow every time for me. He is a POD being owned by 1-2%. Has completed his bye which will be very helpful in the coming weeks. I also won't be touching players involved in the drug saga because you never know what might happen

      Wombatsfc · 21/05/2017 at 22:42

No more pod for harbrow bro. He's had his bye and is still great value. expect 10,000 to add him this week

        DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:51

        10k is still a significant POD. That's about 5-6%

        TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 22:54

Harbow. Pffft. Why bother. There is no way he can keep this output up.

          DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:55

          And Hibberd and Hurley can?

          Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 23:02

          Why are you always negative?

            TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 23:38

the hard knocks of being a Tiges supporter. I just tell it as I see it. I have been a long time supercoacher and I study all the stats. Without bragging I have the knowledge to enhance anybody's team. Lowest final season ranking i've had was in the 16'000's. Highest ive ended was in the 600's. But i've been consistently in the top 8,000 season's end I have been in the supercoach caper since the 2009 season and 2010 was the year when Barlow was the best rookie we ever had. People can choose to take what I say with a grain of salt or embrace ones advice. everyone has their own opinion which make this supercoach game great. I almost think to myself why post my advice when I can get clear of the field

    Stanks21 · 22/05/2017 at 00:37

Totally agree with Tigernut… Hibberd everyday of the week. But most people have missed there chance to grab him now…

      Jack · 22/05/2017 at 07:39

How have they missed the chance to grab him exactly? He's the cheapest top 10 defender by about 20k.

Lol Harbrow… 28 yo, the prime breakout age? Check his history please.

    Funny old game hawk.
I scored 2,180 which some may think is avg.
But if I had of VC on Danger there is another 100 points, bont has a better game and then you are up over 2300.
Had parsons on ground to cover witts so there is another 30-40 pts.

All of a sudden it's a bloody good score. Hopefully this week.
    glass half full.
BTW what the hell happened to Doc? 84 at 1/2 time finished 100? WTF?

First time I haven't had the C or VC on danger. Was crook so didnt move it from bont the week before..
LESSON LEARNT! Never go against the top gun

Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 22:51

Ok have decided on trades, Otten to McInnes and Marchbank to Harbrow. Leaves 120k in the bank.

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 22:52

Might be doing the exact same trades

      Joshua · 21/05/2017 at 23:01

4 more premo's to go after this weeks trades for me
      Aiming for:
      MID- Selwood
Back-Adams and someone on the cheap
FWD- 1 more spot, idk who.
Also have Heater but he will survive until the very end and if he hasn't proven himself by then he is gone.

        TigerNut · 21/05/2017 at 23:55

Don't. He will likely be dropped soon for Petrie. As the Eagles ruck experiment continues.

Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:10

Thinking stewart down to mcniece. Frees up an extra 150k for the bye, might give me the odd game and i will then be able to use him to loop berry and Newmans scores most weeks.

Also gone marchebank up to a bottomed out howe. I think im pretty happy with those trades

    B-rian · 22/05/2017 at 11:07

Bad trades mate. Mcniece won't play so won't generate any cash. Howe won't be a top 6 def from here on imo

    Joe. · 22/05/2017 at 12:37

Odd choice when you have even O'Connor on the bubble and in favour.

Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 23:18

Wow, 4350 teams have already traded Greenwood in.

    Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:27

Making a mistake imo. He scored 3 goals which inflated his score a lot. Gotta wait one more week before bringing him in

      Russty_ · 21/05/2017 at 23:30

I agree Kyle, kudos to the guys who went early and got the score, but i'm gonna wait another week first to see if he can back it up.

      DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 23:30

I think you either brought him in last week like me and a few others or wait until he is on the bubble. People shouldn't be having donuts this week so no need to go early.

        Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:35

Yeah definately. Even if i brought him in i woulda had a donut tho haha. Traded out houston and butler, fielded lynch and still had miles and eddy on the bench :'(

    Stanks21 · 22/05/2017 at 00:32

He is a strong forward in one of the best teams who has domintated the SANFL for weeks. He plays midfield aswell as forward, kicks goals and lays a lot of tackles. See only positives from him..

      Moosehead · 22/05/2017 at 11:04

Thanks for that Stanks21. He appears to be a good size but I am dubious about trading in after one game because there have been one hit wonders before but I need to trade out Balic for the $100K to enable me to dump Marchbank for either Harbrow or Hibberd who unfortunately has the round 11 bye. Almost traded in Myers for the cash but I am glad I didn't.
Greenwoods 104 SC points were against a weak Brisbane but for me, some risk for some reward I suppose.
I have just done my own research and yep, I will make the trade. I suppose you are a South Aussie?

      Bells · 22/05/2017 at 12:25

Makes perfect sense to wait until his second game now. It was his tackling that made me bring him in last week. Was he averaging 8 to 10 in SA? I figured if he put on 5 a game he would be a big chance of keeping a spot in the team and have a bit of a floor scoring wise. Not expecting him to kick 3 every week, but that was a nice bonus as I put him onfield in place of Barrett who I figured would be overwhelmed. (Ended up with his high score too – suddenly I have guys making cash).
Thinking of bringing Hanners in this week. A bit late, and the bye coming up but he is pumping out the scores now and I need a top 4 mid and can't afford Neale or Bont. I just hope I don't put the curse on him like I've done with Jones and Heeney.

    Weasel · 22/05/2017 at 14:26

Monday trading can be deceptive. Some will trade him in just to see how their team looks, 2nd trades, rage traders who'll calm down in a few days etc

Kyle · 21/05/2017 at 23:31

Who are people aiming for with their last few upgrades? Should only have a few more upgrades till full premo.

Im looking at:
Mids – selwood and bont
Fwds – greene or macrae. Leaning towards greene

    DefyingMadness · 21/05/2017 at 23:33

    I am looking at:
    Defenders- Harbrow and Doch
Midfielders- Bont, Selwood and Pendles(Only have 1 slot left though)
Forwards- Ryder or Wallis(1 slot also)

    Doggy · 22/05/2017 at 00:08

Def, Doch and Adams. 2 spots , already have laird, shaw, jones, hibberd.

Mid, no idea yet, 1 spot to fill. Already have Bont, danger, Selwood, titch, JPK, pendles, Fyfe

Fwd, Greene, Wallis, Ryder ….only 1 spot to fill, already have Dahl, macrae, yeo, jjk, nank

Filling lines first before I look at replacing under performers.

      DavidSA · 22/05/2017 at 05:39

      current premo lines

Laird, Adams, Lloyd, Rance, JJ > Last – Doch or Roberton.

Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Oliver, Kelly, Fyfe, Treloar, Shiel > Last – Neal or Bont (will look at sideways Shiel as last trade when toward finals.) that's if I have 4 left by then.

      Rucks are fine so far.

Dahl, Macrae, Nankervis, Franklin, Steele > Last – Not sure as to who yet

    Boltons Blues · 22/05/2017 at 06:57

Laird ( waiting because he is maxed out, plus plenty of money for Newman to make, might downgrade marchbank this week)
Pendlebury (Barret and SPP still can fatten a little more, post bye upgrade)
    No rucks, happy with Sandiwitts
Forwards have stumped me this year, really don't know what to do, Walters is looking the goods but how long can he keep it up for, Riewoldt is up and down, Yeo is up and down + paying top dollar for him.

poloko48 · 21/05/2017 at 23:42

We're only at R9 of course, but here's an interesting stat for rookies compared to last year:
75 players made more than $100K in 2016, including 7 Bombers (Mitch Brown, Tippa, Hartley, Dea, Parish, Langford, McKenna)
So far this year it's 42.
20 players made more than $200K in 2016, including 4 Bombers (Brown, Tippa, Hartley, Dea)
So far this year it's just the 3 (Newman, Otten, Witts)
Shows you how hard it is to get $$$ out of rookies this year.

    Dice · 22/05/2017 at 09:04

    nice info there poloko.
who's ya tip on rookies making $200K from here on in?
I reckon shai bolton will be a handy pickup

      poloko48 · 23/05/2017 at 06:30

Greenwood looks the goods as long as he keeps getting games, not sure if Bolton will make $200K but yeah still good pick up again if he continues to get games.

Juzzy · 22/05/2017 at 00:11

As pathetic as they were today the Eagles only have 3 games in Melbourne for the rest of the year.

Something I am pondering.

Adrian · 22/05/2017 at 00:38

oh shit l didn't realise l put the c on yeo….was wondering why he got 142…finished with 2198 but could have been over 2300…. oh l am a dickhead, form an orderly line and slap away.

    Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:29

Don't beat yourself up. I already did that twice this year. On another day Yeo would have banged out 150 and you'd be laughing.

    Jumper Puncher · 23/05/2017 at 15:23

Slap. Get out of this funk Ade. SLAP

Bill · 22/05/2017 at 02:11

Time to trade in Lumumba?

Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 08:04

2,256 this week. managed to rise to 799 overall. 3 players getting around 150 each helped. Now to spend the next 5 days fretting over who to trade out/in next

ProTravo · 22/05/2017 at 09:30

Is it time for Heath Shaw owners to move him on?
I am not one to trade premos and have backed in the likes of Treloar and Hannebery when they were under performing, but I am doubting that Heater is even a premo anymore?
Would getting rid of this spud be priority over generating cash to achieve full premo or can he come good?

    INPieman · 22/05/2017 at 09:47

I'd get to full premo first then see if you can get rid of unwanted players

      Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:27

Agreed. I bought him two weeks ago and have buyer's remorse. I note that he pushed forward more on the weekend when the game was on the line and hopefully we see more of his old run in the coming weeks.

Adrian · 22/05/2017 at 09:40

In previous years l would have traded out SPP to Martin this week, as he is cheap at $526k, and projected to go up this week. This year l think l will hold fast, wait for the bye round to pass and bring him in……good call or bad call…..

    JoeD · 22/05/2017 at 10:17

Fark that! I'm bringing in Dusty this week with the Bombers and Kangas up next! Could be nearly $600K by time his bye swings by and cash is king this season, if you have any interest in getting to full premo this season.

      Adrian · 22/05/2017 at 10:25

argh Joe that didn't help my itchy trigger finger!

        JoeD · 22/05/2017 at 10:33

Happy to have helped mate. You will thank me next Monday! 🙂

Stinga · 22/05/2017 at 10:21

Hey Guys. thinking off bringing goldy in and moving nank into my forward line, fwd line would be complete. Will have taranto, barrett, berry, newman, fisher and myers to upgrade to 3 mids and 1 backman however could potentially keep newman and make him the lat upgrade depending on how he goes in the nest month.
Thoughts?
Should I maybe look for a premo mid this week instead of a premo ruck?

    Stinga · 22/05/2017 at 10:22

and SPP in the midfield. So got plenty of rookies to make the cash

      Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:22

Goldy was great on the weekend, looks to have put the early issues behind him. There are so many mid options this year, it's hard to say who are must haves, so waiting another couple of weeks to complete that line isn't really going to hurt. Goldy at best will put out premium points anyway. I'd not hesitate making that trade.

Benjamin B · 22/05/2017 at 10:23

Is Jarrod Harbrow the real deal?

    Mad Mike · 22/05/2017 at 10:32

Well that's the $64K question, although let's face it if he just didn't come off his round 9 bye there would be less interest than there currently is for a guy who's never produced these numbers before in his 10 year AFL career. But because he suits everyone's bye structures now we are more willing to believe. 5 of his 6 scores this season have been tons so he is tough to ignore, especially for those who want to jump off a Marchbank/Otten/Hampton before they bleed more cash.

      Joshua · 22/05/2017 at 10:34

Its either him or Hibberd for me

FEARTHEBEARD · 22/05/2017 at 11:12

Robertson, Hibberd, Lloyd?

Have Doch, Laird, Adams, Shaw…

    Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 11:20

    Personally bringing in Lloyd. gun

    ProTravo · 22/05/2017 at 11:31

Hibberd is best value. If the other two were a bit cheaper it would make for a harder decision. Also Harbrow is still good value and bye friendly.

      FEARTHEBEARD · 22/05/2017 at 12:44

Just realized that as money isn't the issue though that would give me 130k+ in the bank with an eye on F6 being upgraded in the coming weeks. Hrmmm decisions decisions.

        FEARTHEBEARD · 22/05/2017 at 12:46

Anyone else have any opinions on Hibberd VS Lloyd or Robertson?

Besides that one stinker vs Hawks Hibberd has pulled 100+ and is good value by the looks of it. Can't say I've watched much of the Demons so not sure what his risk is like?

          JohndJames · 22/05/2017 at 14:38

I have Doc,Adams and Lloyd, was going to get Laird this week, but will leave me with no money,so going Hibberd, like you said apart from the Hawthorn game he has done very well, seems to be the go to man in defence.Should make a good D5-D6.I would still be looking at Lloyd for a future trade in as well, that would give you your six premos in def.

FevCeption · 22/05/2017 at 11:26

Anyone considering bringing in either Joe Daniher or Jarrod Harbrow? Both seem like very tasty POD options this year and both have friendly byes

    Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:18

I really like Joe Daniher and he's getting good delivery. With his size and agility he should get plenty of the ball. Wouldn't be the worst F6. Harbrow super consistent thus far but for similar price i can get Rance who has more history on his side. Harbrow will be a popular trade this week given his bye coverage.

    Danners · 22/05/2017 at 12:40

I'd only consider Harbrow, Daniher is only having a purple patch

    Cogla13 · 24/05/2017 at 16:32

Hanley will be back soon, might impact on Harbrow's scoring.

Tommo · 22/05/2017 at 11:37

Thoughts on trading Marchbank and Otten out, going early on Hugh Greenwood and bringing in the doc? Will leave me one onfield rookie in defence (Newman), 2 rookies in the mid (SPP, Barrett) and 1 in the forwards (either Parsons or Greenwood). Thanks in advance

    Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:14

I've had the Doc all year and it does feel nice. Even a poor day nets 90 odd and he's a very good chance to go 130+ each time he plays. You might get him a bit cheaper but can't see huge discounts due to the consistency The safe option is to wait on Greenwood, he did kick 3 goals which pumped his score. Still, by all accounts he's a bit of a tackling machine so at worst you should expect 60-70 odd output and some nice cash generation.

      Tommo · 22/05/2017 at 12:39

Who would be a better pick out of Greenwood and Bolton? I know either way I'm jumping the gun but i need the cash…

        Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 14:43

        I'd prefer Greenwood

        Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:53

Definately Greenwood. He had 9 tackles, and that isn't unusual compared to his SANFL form. He will keep tackling, even if he doesn't hit the scoreboard every week. Bit of Libba to him.

Bolton's score was inflated by his last kick which was *almost* the match winning goal.

But for both, wait 1 week to make sure this pattern follow. For Greenwood, it follows is SANFL form, but he won't get to play against Brisbane every week…

    Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:57

R13 byes can be an issue – I've had Doc and Heater all season, and brought in Adams as well so my R13 isn't looking good. I'm looking at getting in Perryman as a rookie target next week who is also a R13 bye in Def. Not a comfortable situation depending on the other lines. Definately upgrading is a good thing, but be mindful of byes. Maybe look at Rance or Lloyd if R12 suits your structure better (or Roberton R11).

      Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:59

My bad – I was confusing Doc and Laird since I have both and I knew I had R13 bye issues. Doc is R11 so he's in my good books 😀

ben andrews · 22/05/2017 at 11:56

got marchbank$376,600 and hoskin elliot $380,900

want to get rid of them both this week

87k in the bank

what should i do

    Stanks21 · 22/05/2017 at 12:06

Trade one for cash and upgrade the other depending on whether you need a forward or backman first

    Rick Grimes · 22/05/2017 at 12:10

Paint the wall. Could go MB down to McInnes and WHE to premium. Hard to say which without seeing your team and bye coverage. Greenwood will be a very popular trade this week but the safe option is to wait another week. One down, one up tends to be the proven formula.

      Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 13:37

one up, one down for me. Marchbank up to Lloyd(who I think will avg 100 by the years end) and Zak Jones down to McInnes. take out Jones big 140+ and he is averaging 80. not enough.

        Weasel · 22/05/2017 at 13:59

Zak is ave 115 at the SCG and 60s away. BE is 161 though and risky to hold

          Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 15:10

115 at home is interesting. but yes, very likely to leak cash this week. I like him as a player and considered holding him long term but the gap between good and not so good is a little big for mine

          Bells E Bubb · 22/05/2017 at 16:20

Jones score on the weekend was yet another SC mystery.

Shai Bolton 67 SC points: 3 kicks, 6 handballs @ 66%, 1 mark 3 tackles, no frees either way
          Zac Jones 49 SC points: 6 kicks, 14 handballs @ 85%, 5 marks, 1 tackle, 2 frees against

Not a great game by Jones, BUT 49 points???

            Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:48

Shai got a ton of points for that behind in the second last minute – likely when the SC scorers thought it was the match winning goal. He jumped from 27 to 70 on that kick, then dropped only slightly. It might have been my feed that showed that massive jump as it was behind, but that's what it looked like to me – the timing was exact with the normal delay in scoring a kick (about a minute).

I wouldn't treat Shai as a ~70 SC player as he didn't do much apart from that. I'd have said his game was only a ~50 point game max. If that goal hadn't been touched though and it had been the match winner, he would certainly have scored and earned his 70 for saving the Tigers.

SCdonkey · 22/05/2017 at 12:17

Travelling nicely considering 4 weeks ago i wss ranked 58K yep!! 58k meh! Now sitting at 28k in the ranking.I just wish all my premos and keepers could tonne up for one round and have a bit of luck with my VC and C choice.

TheGreatBozza · 22/05/2017 at 12:25

Don't know if this is being done yet, so I apologize for stealing anyone's thunder, but I'm going to start giving 3-2-1 good and not so good votes like Triple M.
It was a mixed bag for me, losing a key cash game but I did move up in the rankings after a 2 week free fall.

The good ones:
1 – Pendles: rebounded with a classic Pendlebury game. Let's hope that fatherhood has reinvigorated him
2 – Danger: Boy oh boy what a comeback. He's a bit stiff to not get the 3 but this is what we have come to expect of Danger
3 – Beams: Held him due to the shit storm that was the rest of my side, and it seems to have paid off. Beams was huge!

Honourable mentions:
The rookies – Berry, Barrett, Taranto, Hannan & Newman. While I did want to give them a vote, it was hard to go past the big scorers of the round.

The not so good votes:
1 – Heeney: He was due for a low score. I've had him for a few weeks now and I'm 100% confident he can still be a top 6 forward.
2 – Shaw: Maybe this is the new norm, however I'm kicking myself for the last minute pre lockout trade from Lloyd to Shaw, especially in a year with poor cash generation.
3 – Bont: Failed to deliver. He was matched up against Tom Mitchell in my cash league so that didn't go well. Lift BONT!

Honourable mentions:
Bont's teammates Dahl and Macrae are spared, however they haven't been too flash lately.

Get involved with your 3-2-1's !!!

    ben andrews · 22/05/2017 at 12:27

3 no good votes to yeo

      TheGreatBozza · 22/05/2017 at 12:45

I think he could feature prominently

      DavidSA · 22/05/2017 at 12:51

      the good

      1) Traded in Greenwood for an unexpected 104.
      2) Newman once again showing people he is a viable D6.
      3) Dangerfield played a good game.

      The bad

      1) Traded in Oliver and made him captain. Played the least minutes on field out of any Demon player.
      2) JJ needs to shave that coconut and get back to playing 4 qtrs of footy
      3) Shiel is Latin for shit just found out this weekend. Still he was on 89 end of game, then finishes with 75??

    Imgonnalose · 22/05/2017 at 12:48

    Good:
1 vote – Selwood – had the vc on him and delivered in typical Selwood fashion
2 – Dangerfield – He's back, what a brilliant performance, would get 3 votes if he was my captain
3 – Simpson – should really be in the spud votes, but coming into the last game all I needed was for him to outscore Marchbank by 15 points. He delivered and I won by 2 so big ups to the star

    Shit votes:
1 – Priddis – can't be too harsh as he has been fairly consistent, but along with his teammate yeo really turned an easy win into a tight finish
    2 – yeo – see above
3 – Shaw – am sick to death with the shit c#nt, will be getting the arse in the back end of the year and will NEVER come back into my team

      ProTravo · 22/05/2017 at 13:08

      Agree mate, Shaw is done.

    ProTravo · 22/05/2017 at 12:59

    The Good:

1: Beams: I held and was rewarded. Price will go up past 550k once he gets that 66 points out of rotation.
2: Josh Kelly : Not massive this week but has been super consistent this year and continues to improve.
3: Hanners: Almost traded him out after his dismal start to the season. He is on a role now putting up big score and has the Hawks in Sydney this Friday night.

    The Bad:

1: Toby Greene: Performs better when he's being a flog. Needed that mongrel in him that he had prior to suspension.
    2. Parsons: Looked like a good cash cow at the time but has been absolutely disgusting. Should be averaging more for the role he plays.
3: Heath Shaw: If I didn't want to continue to upgrade to full premo he would be gone. Had him from day one and have concluded that his days of Supercoach relevance are gone. Will trade him before the round 13 bye.

DavidSA · 22/05/2017 at 12:29

    Finnius123 · 22/05/2017 at 12:32

    Howe

    Danners · 22/05/2017 at 12:39

Howe if you have no bye problems

      DavidSA · 22/05/2017 at 12:57

Agree Howe but blimey that round 13 bye would hurt if you got Adams and Shaw too

Thomas · 22/05/2017 at 12:33

Thoughts on Dusty and Paddy Ryder?
Dusty has a very nice bye, but concerns over his consistency
paddy Ryder has been relatively consistent. Looks as though he has just found his feet again. And will be very helpful through byes as my ruck combo in Sandi and Grundy both have the same bye.
Thoughts guys?

    Danners · 22/05/2017 at 12:39

Don't mind them both, Ryder has had a pretty good season and has a high HTA ratio which is good for points

Finnius123 · 22/05/2017 at 12:35

Rance or Harbrow?

    Benjamin B · 22/05/2017 at 12:38

    Rance

    Danners · 22/05/2017 at 12:38

Rance, a proven premo. But, if you are struggling for bye coverage maybe bring in Harbrow

      Finnius123 · 22/05/2017 at 13:43

Nah I am sweet with the rd 12

Moosehead · 22/05/2017 at 12:40

I too had my best SC score as no doubt many others did. I compared my team to the top six teams and I have 12 – 14 of their players but still miles away and now concentrating on league wins.
The six guys are Ashley, Kyle, Jamie, Stewart, Tony and Michael who scored 2436 points, well done to you.
I wonder if they read Jock's community comments because I would love to know how they went about putting their team together, whether they have traded aggressively, how many trades they have left, did they make any boo-boos and any pearls of wisdom they might like to pass to mere mortals like myself.
I am always interested in opinions given by Derek, Pieman etc but I would be pleased if they would find the time to make a comment. Perhaps they prefer to keep their 'cards close to their chest' at this stage of the game because $500K is within their grasp.

    Tony · 22/05/2017 at 19:59

    Hi Moosehead.
I coach DVDA Cats sitting in 5th. Generally do well inside top 1000. Love the podcast and always listen. Best advice I can give is listen to what everyone says and then make your own decision. Follow your instincts. That got me Yeo, Roberton and Rocky. Every one said no but I had a feeling they were going to be good. Every year is different too. We seem to think every year needs the same strategy with this perfectly balanced team. I look at all the rookies and grade them. This year rookies were thin so didn't want too many or any on ground so went mid pricers and fallen premos. That way I didn't have 30's and 40's on ground. Got lucky and picked most of them right. Murphy, Oliver, Steele, Tuohy, Zak Jones etc. Biggest thing I got right was the rucks. Witts and Sandy with the Nank Tank in the forwards. Then got kissed with Gawn going down.
Hope that helps. Fingers crossed for the rest of the year.

Damo · 22/05/2017 at 13:04

Team as follows – 17 trades and 261k remaining.

Laird-Adams-Harbrow-Tuohy-Marchbank-Newman-Berry-VickersWillis
The only obvious trade out at the moment is Marchbank. If so, will want a player from Geelong/North/Rich/WCE. Rance seems to stand out. Happy with the top four, whilst Newman, Berry and EVW are all making cash.

Ablett-Danger-Yeo-Murphy-Oliver-Fyfe-Dahl-PowellPepper-Barrett-Myers-Perryman
Really considering SPP up to Dusty this week. But not sure. Trading to Martin offsets the losing of SPP through the buy rounds. My other option is to wait a week and see what happens with Barrett this week. He will go, just a matter of when.

Nank-Sandi-Witts
Happy leaving these until injury hits at some point.

Ryder-Billings-Steele-B Hill-HoskinElliott-Matera-Taranto-Bowes
WHE nearing point of exit.

    Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 13:30

I would suggest not wasting a midfield premo spot on Yeo. put him in your forward line(which is a little weak tbh) if you're going to keep him. lots of good mids on offer. much less to choose from in the forward line

      Damo · 22/05/2017 at 14:54

I've been moving him between forward and mid week to week

    Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:34

WHE to Martin might be better, swinging either Dahl or Yeo back to the FWD line. WHE is just about topped out and has the dreaded R13 bye. Since you've already kept SPP through his bye, keep him to cover unplanned events during the bye … and there will be unplanned events! Nice to have both Bowes and SPP for the full byes (I have them too), rather than cashing them in early. You know that SPP has good JS.
Moving both Dahl and Yeo back to FWD line should be a priority and getting in more mid premiums. They will score more than FWD or DEF premiums. To me it looks like you're 3 MID premiums short of a full list right now. If you make that a focus through the byes, you'll come out well on top.

Deeboss · 22/05/2017 at 13:14

McInnes or Stewart as a cash cow down forward?

    Krazee-Eyez Killa · 22/05/2017 at 15:37

McInnes cheaper, scores of 66 and 67. he could potentially be good for consistent 60's?(that's what I'm banking on anyway) Stewart 91 and 51, so potential for more of a swing in his scoring. job security for both could be an issue

Is Brett Eddy ever going to play again?

Holty · 22/05/2017 at 13:19

You would think after the rookie performances this weekend id be happy, but im not. I had planned to bring in a premium this week but with all rookies scoring well, i now feel i have to hold and let them rise in value a bit more. Just goes to prove im a miserable sod when it comes to Supercoach.

tybrisbane · 22/05/2017 at 13:46

ranked 56 and climbing. getting nervous

    Santy · 22/05/2017 at 14:56

    Congratulations Blue. Good side.

TigerNut · 22/05/2017 at 16:55

Two trades this week. Black to Greenwood. Marchbank to Laird/Hibberd. Which pushes my last on field rookie Parsons onto the bench. Full Premium here we come

    Sigmund Freuds Mum · 23/05/2017 at 15:30

    You still here TN?
It's getting close to the Tiges next game.
Man get out early, it will be an absolute Tiger Shemozzle of the highest order.

    Love your mum.

TigerNut · 22/05/2017 at 17:01

I've seen enough of Greenwood to suggest he's SC relevant. Showed he has a high ceiling. Would be rapt with a 70 average from the bloke. Only risk is injury

    Goat · 22/05/2017 at 21:50

I'm on board. Elite basketballers … pendles .. roughy … petracca …..and he's gone more elite than them. Injury risk though and Js is not certain

    Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:26

As others have said previously, wait 1 more round before bringing in Greenwood since you have already missed the boat on his 100. Plan for the byes too – bringing him in will give you an extra R13 bye which might not fit your structure. Getting a few 70s on your way to full premo is nice, but not at the expense of a donut … a rookie scoring 50 per week with no donut will get the same output if you end up replacing them after 2-3 rounds… or resigning them to the pine.

wightyswarriors · 22/05/2017 at 17:02

Worst was this week..Parfitt for Durdin pre cats friday game, and Butler for Caddy…..did the later for bye balance, dpp. and fallen 100k…..copped two donuts

Andy · 22/05/2017 at 21:18

What's your thoughts on Parker? I'm thinking of going Parker to Selwood or Zerrett? I know he scored well in round 8 but he's too inconsistent.

    Krazee-Eyez Killa · 23/05/2017 at 09:01

swans flying. would expect parker to come good. dude is a gun. second in the brownlow last year. selwood a little up and down at times and zerrett only got just over 100 from 37 touches. point being, as far as trades go, I think it’s at sideways as they come

Goat · 22/05/2017 at 23:25

Zac Jones. About to drop 37 k. What are your thoughts community? Swans down. Jones up? Swans up. Jones down. Not enough "gap" between the guns and the rest for him to shine? Cash cow for me?

    Tony · 23/05/2017 at 00:35

With more Swan guns coming back not as much mid time for Jones. Am trading him out this week for Taylor Adams. Has done his job nicely.

    Krazee-Eyez Killa · 23/05/2017 at 08:56

thought he was going to be a keeper for me, but I'm trading him up to Jakey Lloyd this week. think I can get some more consistently good scores without a much higher price tag.

    Goat · 23/05/2017 at 09:36

Thanks for the thoughts – I agree – I'll bank my win and move on.

Big G · 23/05/2017 at 00:24

Sloane, T Mitchell or the Bont as upgrade targets

    Deeboss · 23/05/2017 at 01:03

    Titch

    Big Al · 23/05/2017 at 10:21

Sloan after his bye – should be mid 500s and likely to bounce back strongly. Don't chase yesterday's points, get guys who have dipped a little.

Big G · 23/05/2017 at 07:42

Thoughts on holding or keeping Rocky. Will he score big when he comes back with his injury_
