Is Heeney overpriced now at 490k?
Never averaged more than 80 not sure he can keep this output up.
Its either him or Stef Martin for Butler
Thoughts?
He's young bob. Reckon he's on the up. Plays out of the middle, plenty of pill, kicks a goal here and there, exactly what you want for consistent SC points
Exceptional mark also. But is still very young. So I expect a few real quiet games having to compete with the gun Swans mids but he will make it up with some massive games.
I would go for it. You should have 4 trades left after full premo. you are gambling that you wont have 5 injuries. I think the reward of getting to full premo outweighs the risk of that.
I'll be at 17 trades left with 4 spots to fill. Although don't have any rookies that will get to $300 except for Newman and spp. So if I want uber premos, I'll need to go 2 down 1 up. Already brought in some value picks and need some point scorers for my last spots.

I think you guys should stop living in the past. The future is with players like Kelly, Mitchell and Oliver. These are the new premiums, forget Priddis, pendles etc lol.
I'm not sure about forgetting Priddis, Pendles etc, you might as well stop coaching. A combination of young guns and proven stars will be the winning formula. : )
They are definitely emerging. But there are plenty of other young guns who are not. Easy to pick out the ones going well, what about Wines, Crouch, Libba, Hall, Gaff, Billings, Caddy, Lynch………
We will know who the new guns are at the end of the season, not 8 weeks in
I wouldnt say lynch is playing terrible mate. Started the year at only 500k. He is still averaging 90 and thats gonna improve over the year. Hes a top 6-8 forward for mine still
Barrett making money and playing. Rocky is out for a few so might get more midfield time.

Weekly thereapy delivered, thanks Jock. I nearly turfed in the season after Sunday's mess.
Your podcast made me rethink the bye dilemma. With 20 trades and $169k, I've narrowed it down to 4 options. Trying to offload Houston, Hampton, etc but think option 1 or 2 is the best path. Any feedback welcome…..
1. SPP & Houston to Heeney & Myers;
2. Fisher & Houston to Heeney & Myers (keep SPP);
3. Houston & SPP to Bont & McInnes;
4. Hampton & Fisher to Macrae/Yeo & McInnes
Agreee Derek.
Another option I'm considering is where Butler is dropped..
Houston & Butler to Heeney & Myers.
To do this means I lose DPP swing moving Pickett to forward bench alongside Eddy (asleeep on the bench). It also means fielding Parsons & Balic – which make me nervous.
Then there is the decision on which bench mid to field at M8 – Barrett or Myers. Pain everywhere.
i've been looking at Heeney. not sure he is cheap enough, plus i've got max number of round 11 byes for now. i know he will be a great player but paying just under $500k seems alot. i know plenty of the guys at the swans academy, they all say he will be a gun, but they all say that Mills is better. i still believe that Mills will push into the midfield more and more during the year, especially when Rampe is back. Will affect Henney.
The third week is his bye. That needs to be taken into account. But how will he be with that shoulder coming back. Think strapped up orange hatted Gary. Would make me nervous. Personally I'd get rid of him if your ok for trades

Time to drop the crouching one Jock..
We come on here to listen to SC podcast not Jennifer Hawkins & effin Myers.
Thoughts on Burton (Hawks), great job security now with injuries and scoring quite well.
Listen harder Becks. His message is Myers is no sure thing to make you satisfied. And whilst he might be the best rookie option this week I agree with Crouching. People seem to think he will fly to 400K & make an easy upgrade. I don't thing he will get even close. I see him as cover only if I trade him in. If he has some great games that's a bonus
Waiting for the bubble round 10 – anything could happen between then and now. My plan is to get Myers this week and Lloyd next week to get the players I want who have the round 11 bye and to add to my 13 playing in round 13 atm.
Witts isn't a keeper by any stretch, if there are no more pressing issues, Jacobs or Martin, are actually keepers. Martin won't go up much this week, Jacobs will by 30 grand…and is on a tear.
If you plan to bring in both then Heeney this week and Macrae when it suits. Macrae is almost at season high price. He won't go up much and will drop a little at some point. He is Mr consistency.
as for SPP he is close to max price, sc gold predicts him to go up by 25k in round 15, he may even go further, especially after a rest this week.
He has had a few games lately where his first half has been very quiet but his second half massive. 97 and 86 last two games in second half. It will happen soon when he has two halves like that and boom!
2-3 means 3. If he misses 2, he will miss week 3 as it it Brisbane's bye. So 3 weeks it is. Rocky has to go as that shoulder will continue to be a problem for him for the rest of the season. Mark my words.
Heard rumors that he was training with Beams and are hoping that can get up this weekend somehow. Like the others are saying though, he will probably be out of at least a couple of weeks
2 to 3 could mean way more than that, no one knows how his dislocated Shoulder is going to hold up until he plays. Then if they realise he should never have played, and that playing only made it worse, he could have to go for surgery, and be out for the rest of the year.
I'd dump him regardless, could possibly be ok in 2 to 3 weeks, but more likely, won't be.
As an example, how many injuries on the injury list just keep extending, week after week until 4 or 5 weeks turns into 8 or more?
Popped straight back in……………he'll be back after bye.

For those that traded Newman out, Is it worth canning a Tom Stewart to Newman? (BE -20). He could hold his spot for the rest of the year and be a nice D6. Would leave DEF very solid as Doc, Lloyd, Simpson, Marchbank, McGrath, Newman (Williamson, EVW)
Could hold his spot for the rest of the year? Mate he's already been dropped twice! If he keeps his spot it will only take one poor performance to drop him. Horse doesn't look at Supercoach scores. We learnt that with Tom Mitchell. Keep in mind North conceded 210 to Gary, the rest of his scores have been crap by Gary standards
We all have our differences. In the top 1900 overall so I will stick with the gut. 35 touches, 11 marks, 4 tackles and a 151 score this week at an average of 93.6. Rest of his scores were 73, 105, 80, 59 then 151. Could well go up another $150k in a season where rookies are hard to find. Tom Stewart isn't a keeper and he's made cash. Newman expected to go up another $45-50k this week. Worth the risk I reckon. Horse looks at stats mate and those stats last week don't lie. Fancy listening to a Collingwood supporters advice haha
This game is all about trading up and trading down. Tom Stewart has to be traded at some point so there begs the question. When do you cull him? Might as well do it now for someone that will appreciate in coin and be a potential keeper. Big risk involved with Rampe to come back. But reward looks too good if he can be named each week. Thanks for your insight fellas
Risky, for me, I wouldn't. I've got him still and happy to hold for a while and see how he goes, but I would be trading him in. Can't see him averaging much better than 80-85. Good but not quite a keeper, and already gone up 198K, so not another 100K left I wouldn't think.
Happy to be proven wrong, and if you have lots of trades left by all means do it, but you've only got 3 premos in defence, so still a bit of work to do to get 6. I'd personally go 1 up, 1 down- stewart & Williamson out.. IN Rance, Laird, Williams, Adams etc
Trade out rookie then re trade back in after one ridiculous score = Bye Bye. Good luck stays in top 10,000. 30 trades goes too quick for that. If u traded Newman bid farewell and move on.
his name is Nic Newman not "a rookie". He's a mature aged player, 23 years old. All my other lines are set except for the backline and it would leave him at D6. with Williamson and EVW on bench for cover.
As a swans supporter, Too risky, horse doesn't look at SuperCoach scores, and if he's not happy with his defensive work Newman will be dropped again. Titch could rack up 35-40 touches and still get dropped because horse wasn't happy with his defensive efforts. I still think this week could be touch and go just from a few mistakes he made on the weekend, including giving up an easy goal. Longmire is a strange bloke.
I would disagree with most on Newman. Watching the way he plays I can see him holding his spot at the Swans and putting up consistent 85+ scores with a few 120+. He does everything right for supercoach and will only get better.
There is always the risk that if he plays a bad game he gets dropped and horse would be hesitant to bring him back in with the like of Rampe to return.
Hannan isn't scoring well and he might not increase in value at all. WHE has a round 13 bye and Brisbane in round 10 might see him score ok to boast his price over the following 2weeks.

Durdin or Myers?
Adams or Docherty?
Do I get Docherty now or wait until after his bye at hopefully a cheaper price?6
What usually happens when a player has a period of great scoring? What happens after that……. usually, almost every time?
Does he:
A) continue knocking out massive scores
Or
B) opposition coaches realise the danger and put a close tag on them, this gives them a crap SC score and there are a number of young supercoachers screaming how unfair this game is?
Did you watch the game? They tried to tag him. The same levi greenwood that killed selwood had no impact on kelly, he's a very versatile player that is damaging everywhere. Hard man to tag.
The problem with the GWS midfield and in fact their side in general is that they are so even across the board, more so than either team in the AFL. This is their great strength as they can just wear down other teams with the sheer number of quality players they can throw at you. But from a fantasy perspective it's their big negative. So many of their midfielders have purple patches and then drop away and another one of their guys step up instead. So Ward is down right now but he will likely have his purple patch at some point as will Shiel and then perhaps Kelly will drop away. So I'd rather get on the value Swan mid premos like a JPK or Parker myself.
Myers is pretty important due to the lack of rookies we have. Has good JS so it think we need to get him in.
Im looking to bring in Heeney for Butler this week but it doesn't go well with my bye structure, not many other options in the fwd line which is the main issue.
Not going for overall ranking just league wins and I'm predicted to win 2 out of 3 with those trades done, so thinking they look pretty good in the end!
The guy I'm versing obviously gave up after the first round as he only score 1400 odd each week… I think I've got him covered aha. But I know what you mean about not relying on score predictions

I was looking at bringing in danger for Kelly next week but after the effort on the weekend think he may be a keeper or at least till his bye.
So not sure now what to do?
Do I bring in Danger or just leave it?
Ranked 2000.
Mids: Bont, Sloane, Pendles, JPK, Zorko, Ablett, Fyfe and Kelly.
Is there any way I can trade a Butler to Myers if he isn't dpp? How does that work?

Why isnt anyone talking about mcEvoy been over 6/8 games and the last 5 games with a 111 against martin on the weekend must be considered averaging 100
Yeah if you only have $423500 to spend, I guess, until he injures his leg again.

I've already got JPK, Newman in my side is it too many swans if I bring in Lloyd? I'm trading Otten
Already have Laird, Shaw and Adams.
Can't afford Doch but can get anyone else
Wait and see if Lloyd retains his spot. Greene is back this week, but with GWS' injuries, there is a chance Lloyd stays, I guess.
Who would be your alternative to Laird if you went Myers?

you know what disgusts me about the Tigers? They give games to Markov, Menadue, Morris, Batchelor, Elton. Yet they leave Anthony Miles in the VFL (Racking up 30 odd touches a game).Lennon in the VFL (averaging about 4 goals a game). and Sam Lloyd playing in the VFL. Come on Tiges WTF. Miles, Lennon and Lloyd should all be in the side. FFS! Any Tigers Fans would love your thoughts
Not a Tigers fan but I know what you mean, Tigers decision makers seem hell bent on sabotaging themselves, best decision they've made recently is getting rid of Tyrone Shittery.
Prestia plays the same role as miles, both in the same team is hard to fit. Lennon has had tremendous troulble converting it at the afl level, he has had plenty of chances. He also neglects to run and put on any defensive pressure, he's the liam mcbean of our smalls. Vfl and afl are worlds apart.
Lloyd is interesting, doesnt have the raw pase and pressure of the trio at this stage but is a good mark and goalkick, expect him to come in for butler this week. I think you can also expect one of the blokes you mentioned to make way for shia bolton pretty soon.
Have to agree here TigerNut. Miles should be holding his spot in the best 22. Lloyd & Lennon play half Fwd roles that seem to compete with Butler, Rollo, Castagna & Edwards. Staggering that Miles missed out last week. Biggest issue is the lack of a a key CHF. Elton not up to it, Griffith looks gone and Chol a long way off. That said, I would definitely look at Miles, Lloyd & Lennon this week – on the proviso that Butler holds his spot for my SC team.

Anyone else considering Hibberd down back? Might not end up top 6 defender, almost certainly top 10. 100k cheaper than every defender averaging more than him.
I'd go Bont. Cats are in a slump and who knows when they will snap out of this funk. Both Danger and Jelwood are carrying niggles too. Until they can show me they can produce the goods again I'm not burning VC/Cs on them if it looks like I have better prospects elsewhere.
Yep they were meant to right the ship last weekend against the Dons but only looked even worse on the weekend for the first 3qtrs and then the Dons began to fade which perhaps made them look better than they actually were. At least they are playing at home in the opening game of the round so placing the VC on either Danger or Selwood is not as bad as relying on them for a C score. I was feeling pretty nauseous at 3qtr time with the C on Danger last Saturday but thankfully he had a huge last quarter to get me a respectable C score.
I'm going to go a smokey for VC this week. Tex Walker is playing against Brisbane, and I reckon he can do a Buddy and go absolutely huge against them. Means I miss out on Bont, Danger, Jelwood, Macrae, Dahl and co., but I reckon it is worth the risk – especially with Zerrett with the C on sunday
What do we think about Dustin Martin this week guys. He is very attractively priced at 510k, but is it fools gold?
Form hasn't been good. Seemingly can't handle a tag.
High ceiling but inconsistent – at least you know what you are buying. Can definitely handle a tag (best player at avoiding tackles in the game) – just in and out of matches, which can be frustrating for an owner
And playing at GWS this week too who usually put the clamps on their opposition fantasy scoring as we saw with Pendles and the Pies last week. So I'd be holding off this week at least and if he can ton up again only then consider jumping on board as the Tiges draw begins to open up with the Bombers and Kangas up next.
He's just a bit of a fringe player been hard for him to cement a spot but always around the mark. I really like what he brings but there are many other playrrs fighting for the same spot. Questionable JS
Seen a bit of this kid if you had to compare him it would be to newman beautifull long lefty trying to get more mid time but too many similar types jong mclean wallis Williams very hard for the kid
Thanks. Didn't even notice him but just caught my eye as I was looking over the weekend scores

Pretty sure that now in light of Rocky's diagnosis that I'm just going to concentrate on league wins (and thus will hold him for the 2-3 weeks). Have 21 trades left and ranked in top 2% but amongst mates bragging rights goes to whoever wins the comp, although rank and league wins likely to go hand in hand…
If byes are not an issue (pretty much decided to tank Rd 11), is JPK the best mid option under 536k for SPP? Or am I better shipping Butler off for a fwd under 500k (N Riewoldt or Heeney)?
Depends on how your structure looks Greg,
If your forward line is weak i would trade Butler and snap up a fwd.
on the other hand if mids is weak JPK is a great option
Rnd 11 bye issues? Myers in whe out.Hampton up perhaps Llyod (syd). But check your bye structure. Rnd 13 ruck?

Trading out Otten this week. Rance and Hibberd are obvious choices due to BE's and I already have Doc, Shaw, Laird and Adams.
Seriously looking at Harbrow's numbers, price and convenience through the bye rounds. Tell me I'm crazy.
You don't fluke 5 tons out of 6 games so he's obviously in form and playing that juicy rebounding defender role that all teams need. Could be a decent option next week but considering that Rance and Shaw are similarly priced to Harbrow and Hibberd is even cheaper it would still be a risky play to bring in Harbrow who is averaging nearly 25ppg more than he did last season. Of course sometimes it can just click for certain players and they have a breakout season as Yeo appears to be doing so far in 2017.
Would say Butler. Think that there is a chance he won't be selected, though, to be honest.

All plans are on hold until teams are released. I see potential for a little carnage this week. Plenty of spud rookie performers with the axe hovering.
I read not long again Brett that Balic was no where to be seen at training today. I'm guessing he will be no where to be seen at selections. It's starting to smell like a bad week
Myers is a must trade in for most coaches so it's just a question of who goes which team sheets could dictate for some. If you don't have a midfield perma-donut like Pickett or Mountford type then it's probably time for SPP to go. Some may even consider going early on another bomber in Stewart if they are faced with a forward donut this week.
He sure doesn't look like a player who will burn you for NOT picking him right now given his timeshare role with Williams. Until he can go back to back hefty tons I wouldn't worry about him especially as most of our defences are already clogged up with round 13 bye players as it is.
Is Heeney overpriced now at 490k?
Never averaged more than 80 not sure he can keep this output up.

Hes a gun, if it worked better for bye structure i would of grabbed him last weekend
I can not wait to get Heeney, star written all over him.
He's pretty good, but the guys around the swans academy all say that Mills is better.
Mills not playing mid this year though, heeney is.
I've brought him in this week. Swans on the way up again, good draw. Midfield time. Tick, tick, tick and a low BE.
Is Durdin worth getting
I would say no
My plan to pick off JPK or Cripps after their bye has taken an expensive turn… I really hope one of them (or Docherty) has a quiet game this week.
I know, annoying
If i trade for Merrett and Myers this week ill only have 16 trades left… but ill be 5 away from full premium.
Is that too many trades used?
I would go for it. You should have 4 trades left after full premo. you are gambling that you wont have 5 injuries. I think the reward of getting to full premo outweighs the risk of that.
are you trading out players who have maxed out or need to go? If yes, then go for it.
I'm in a similar situation this week and that's what I'm doing. I have 17 trades, 4 til full premo and that should leave me with plenty left
I'll be at 17 trades left with 4 spots to fill. Although don't have any rookies that will get to $300 except for Newman and spp. So if I want uber premos, I'll need to go 2 down 1 up. Already brought in some value picks and need some point scorers for my last spots.

Spot on Jimbo
Agreed, that's why I started with Oliver, Steele, Marchbank and WHE. Had Kelly in my team but tried my luck with George Horlin Smith instead.
Mitchell wasn't really a bargain either but he could find a spot in my final team as his price hasn't changed.
They are definitely emerging. But there are plenty of other young guns who are not. Easy to pick out the ones going well, what about Wines, Crouch, Libba, Hall, Gaff, Billings, Caddy, Lynch………

My bad. Just realised i misread you derek. Just ignore me lol
What should I do with Hannan, Butler, Hampton and Parfitt? Only got 30k left and my
Kick them to the curb!
@ Derek
You prefer this
Barrett > Myers
Marchbank > Oliver by swinging Adams from mid to back line.
no
Why trade out Barrett. He's playing
…. what was the question again?
Barrett making money and playing. Rocky is out for a few so might get more midfield time.
Weekly thereapy delivered, thanks Jock. I nearly turfed in the season after Sunday's mess.

Maybe so but missed him last week and won't do that again. Pretty confident he will finish Top 6 Fwd and his price will hit $550 quickly.
Don't think Balic will play this week, so this may influence your trades.
Apparently Balic was not sighted at training today (and Hill & Ballantyne trained flat out).
Will be a real shame for my team if Balic doesn't play, but starting to set myself for this happening.
News update suggests Indefinite personal leave – bugger!!!!
ROCKLIFF OUT 2-3. Sassy Foods has issues
congrats on the rank Sassy, just had a check

I'm still chuckling with that one…….
I love crouching one and want to die listening to his voice
Sit down idiot
There is always a message in Crouching One's advice. The fact that it is delivered in a unique way is a plus not a minus.
Too early to get rid of Witts or is he a keeper?
Hasn't given us much reason to trade him Saundo
Goldy will outscore him from here…but I've got about 7 other issues to deal with.
Witts is a keeper at this stage.
If he is your R3 you should trade him. Too much cash on bench.
If he is your R2 you will have to upgrade him at some point to either of the best two ruckmen (whoever they turn out to be).
But not this week, soon though
Butler to Myers Witts to Heeney via Nank DPP bringing him to the ruck. Bang! Bang!
Witts isn't a keeper by any stretch, if there are no more pressing issues, Jacobs or Martin, are actually keepers. Martin won't go up much this week, Jacobs will by 30 grand…and is on a tear.
Zorko or Oliver? (Already have Zerrett)
*replacement for rockliff
Zorko
you mad. look at Dusty or JPK. Both Contested beasts and are dirt cheap
Zorko has a whole two weeks without Rockliff. get Dusty, JPK, Hanners or Oliver.
Zorko
If I had Rocky it would be straight to Pendles or JPK
Heeney or Macrae?
Also, is it worth trading SPP to Myers. Got no other ways to get him in.
Macrea is about to go massive.
He has had a few games lately where his first half has been very quiet but his second half massive. 97 and 86 last two games in second half. It will happen soon when he has two halves like that and boom!
Any word on Rockliff?
2-3 they are saying. Awkward

I agree. If he is back in 3 ok, but I'd be worried he will be like Gaz and not tackle. He gets a lot of points from tackles
Hold if nowhere near top rank.

Marc Murphy was out for the season, comes back the next round
Stats don't lie, his average is right up there with best def. and still cheap!
It's not just supercoach. That was a bloody gun game
Edit: missed another wouldn't in there somewhere !!
He'a a mature aged 'Rookie' in the AFL, if you want to get technical.
He is a rookie just a mature aged rookie. Do a fact check
You missed him mate, move on. Won't create enough cash to justify the trade. His 151 only stays in score for 2 more weeks.
Has a round 11 bye
Poor JS especially as Rampe likely to come back soon
As a swans supporter, Too risky, horse doesn't look at SuperCoach scores, and if he's not happy with his defensive work Newman will be dropped again. Titch could rack up 35-40 touches and still get dropped because horse wasn't happy with his defensive efforts. I still think this week could be touch and go just from a few mistakes he made on the weekend, including giving up an easy goal. Longmire is a strange bloke.
Newman is not a D6. Or D7 or D8. Everyone should consider trading him in the bye rounds. I would trade marchbank and McGrath while I'm at it
Great cash generator but definitely not a keeper
I would disagree with most on Newman. Watching the way he plays I can see him holding his spot at the Swans and putting up consistent 85+ scores with a few 120+. He does everything right for supercoach and will only get better.
There is always the risk that if he plays a bad game he gets dropped and horse would be hesitant to bring him back in with the like of Rampe to return.
Should i get rid of WHE or Hannan?
Depends on your bye structures
Hannan isn't scoring well and he might not increase in value at all. WHE has a round 13 bye and Brisbane in round 10 might see him score ok to boast his price over the following 2weeks.
Durdin or Myers?
Adams or Docherty?
Do I get Docherty now or wait until after his bye at hopefully a cheaper price?6
probs myers and would be ideal to get adams before the bye and doc after his.
if you had to chose one though id go doc
Myers the better option.
Durdin hasn't got good JS
SPP to Myers and Otten to Adams.
Otten to Myers and Stewart to Rance?
Option 1 or 2?
1 – Adams a must have.
Option 2
Hey all,
Is Josh Kelly are legitimate chance to sustain this average or potentially increase?
What usually happens when a player has a period of great scoring? What happens after that……. usually, almost every time?
Does he:
A) continue knocking out massive scores
Or
B) opposition coaches realise the danger and put a close tag on them, this gives them a crap SC score and there are a number of young supercoachers screaming how unfair this game is?
Did you watch the game? They tried to tag him. The same levi greenwood that killed selwood had no impact on kelly, he's a very versatile player that is damaging everywhere. Hard man to tag.
He could sustain his average, but I can't see him getting any higher. I wouldn't be going out of my to get him in though
Will Rocky out affect Martins scoring?
That's actually an excellent question. It probably will IMO
Berry will use his super powers
It won't matter Brisbane will still be shit!
Dyson Heppell with a microwave induced steak injury……looking to top Jeremy Howes canine frisby accident
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-05-16/bombers-mic…
Sounds like a drunken incident…lol, not something that would happen if you were sober, glad he's "cherry ripe" to go.
typical from a pies supporter
Any news on Treloar?
He plays for magpies
Does he? Plays but plays badly.
The rubbish he has been dishing up recently vaguely represents football.
Pondering putting the C on him this week.
For your sake I hope your VC goes really well ..
News is he got traded out of a lot of sides last week.
Treloar has been training this week. I assume he plays
Not for my side lol, he was turfed for a Yo- Yo last week.
Should be back in as he has been training during the week.
With Varcoe and Reid out I would expect they want to get some talent back into the side.
So getting talent back in the side counts out Treloar………jokes.
For those bagging Treloar……one word…Hannebery
Let em bag him all they like. Increases the chances of the supercoach gods smacking them in the face with a 150 from Treloar
Will Zorko's scoring go up now that rockliff is out ?
Did you want Zorko in your team if Rocky was there? If not, then forget about him.
I can't see why not, he is a gun and ready to step up.
Zorko's been a solid choice for the last 3 years or so.
As a fwd
This week I'm thinking of going SPP to Myers and Butler to Heeney, thoughts community?
I still think it's too early to say if Heeney is top 6 forward
Listen to the podcast, SPP will come in handy over the byes
So doesn't matter if we miss the boat on Myers, any other good rookie mids coming up? Was just looking to build a bank up this week
I like it
Try holding SPP. Can you get Myers in another way?
Agree with Rivo
Myers is pretty important due to the lack of rookies we have. Has good JS so it think we need to get him in.
Im looking to bring in Heeney for Butler this week but it doesn't go well with my bye structure, not many other options in the fwd line which is the main issue.
What about Waite?
god no… not waite.
Not going for overall ranking just league wins and I'm predicted to win 2 out of 3 with those trades done, so thinking they look pretty good in the end!
I was predicted to get 2260 a couple of weeks ago Mike…1854
The guy I'm versing obviously gave up after the first round as he only score 1400 odd each week… I think I've got him covered aha. But I know what you mean about not relying on score predictions
I was looking at bringing in danger for Kelly next week but after the effort on the weekend think he may be a keeper or at least till his bye.
So not sure now what to do?
Do I bring in Danger or just leave it?
Ranked 2000.
Mids: Bont, Sloane, Pendles, JPK, Zorko, Ablett, Fyfe and Kelly.
DANGER?
You're full premo mid, save trades in this area might be carnage ahead
Unless you have an injury, I would leave your midfield as is.
You have rolled the dice and gone without danger. Nothing wrong with your mids. Stick to your guns.
I would hold. If you really want to bring in Danger I would be dropping Sloane.
Hold Kelly bit longer, has some cash to gain
Is there any way I can trade a Butler to Myers if he isn't dpp? How does that work?
Why isnt anyone talking about mcEvoy been over 6/8 games and the last 5 games with a 111 against martin on the weekend must be considered averaging 100
Been over 100*
He's pretty good. Classic case of Lone Wolf. Back to his best. Had an easy run though
They are looking for him at Jurassic Park. 🙂
Possible trade target after the byes when Sandi might be worn out.
JPK or Oliver? Cant chose
JPK 100%.. Watch this bloke dish out a 157 this week and everyone will bring him in.
2018 I say Oliver. 2017 JPK
Is Hibberd a good option down back?
Yeah if you only have $423500 to spend, I guess, until he injures his leg again.
Hit trade on him and then look LHS and scroll and see the magic.. if u planned well.
I've already got JPK, Newman in my side is it too many swans if I bring in Lloyd? I'm trading Otten
Already have Laird, Shaw and Adams.
Can't afford Doch but can get anyone else
Depends on yr bye structure. I have four swans.
Durdin JS?
Not good
yeah, it's no good.
Not great, Mullett (test), Sam Wright (2-4 wks) both to come back in soon, I think.
Is SPP to Lloyd (GWS) then otten to laird a good move? This would leave me with 100 left so I can't get Myers instead of Lloyd..
I know he's going well, for now, but for me, his history of leg injuries is too risky to consider, I don't believe he's a keeper.
Friday night VC choices aplenty. Bont, Jelwood, Danger, Dahl..
Danger excels against good teams
As does Bont, take your pick.
Like it.
Smoky here too but going to try Swannies Kennedy. Could be coming into a purple patch.
If you have Goldy he plays Melbourne this week will hit 130+
Thoughts on my side and what I can do with trades this week
Got 22 trades and 19k remaining
Adams, laird, Simpson- Stewart
Williams, Marchbank, Newman- Hampton
grundy, Sandilands
– strandica
Wingard, McRae, Dalhaus- eddy
JJK, Hoskin Elliot, rough- parsons
Help me out new to this and ranked about 15k
You really need to bring in some mids.
I think he's a gun and a bargain.
Bargain price, super player and high ceiling. Definitely considering Dusty for next week or after the byes.
Next week bringing him in. Suits my byes, good value ATM, goes huge every so often. Overdue for a big one, hopefully next week!
He's definitely suffering from the groin injury. And it's impacting. I'll have another look at him this week
Hasn't scored well since that injury a few weeks ago. Might be playing hurt.
Snore fest Hawks vs Pies
no Cyril 🙁
Any Buldog supporters tell me about Lucy's Webb? Played first game for year last week for 77sc.
Only $260k but has DPP.
Why hasn't he played much and will he get a decent run of games?
He's just a bit of a fringe player been hard for him to cement a spot but always around the mark. I really like what he brings but there are many other playrrs fighting for the same spot. Questionable JS
Seen a bit of this kid if you had to compare him it would be to newman beautifull long lefty trying to get more mid time but too many similar types jong mclean wallis Williams very hard for the kid
Don't think he will get a decent run Derek.
Murphy, Morris, Dickson, Wallis, Cloke, Roughead all possible ins this week.
Current mids: Bontempelli, Rockliff, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Hannebery, SPP, Barrett / Myers
Current fwds: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Franklin, Nankervis, Butler, Balic / Parsons
JPK looks the best choice but both lines need help Roo could be one that comes with a rush don't think Heeney is as good as MIlls though
Defence-
Laird, Adams, Jones
Shaw, Marchbank, Newman
Bench- Stewart, Hampton
Midfielders
Dangerfield, Hannerbery, Treloar, Merrett
Fyfe, Selwood, Taranto, Barrett
Bench- PowellPepper, Pickett, Fisher
Rucks
Sandilands, Grundy
Bench- Strandica
Fwd
Dalhaus, McRae, Dixon
Nankervis, Hoskin-Elliot, Roughead
Bench- Parsons, Eddy
Rank/8908
I have 23 trades left but don't know what to do next 🙂 any suggestions Community
Only 19k
get rid of hampton for one. if possible. but you really could just hold your trades. maybe try and make some cash?
Rnd 11 bye issues? Myers in whe out.Hampton up perhaps Llyod (syd). But check your bye structure. Rnd 13 ruck?
Trading out Otten this week. Rance and Hibberd are obvious choices due to BE's and I already have Doc, Shaw, Laird and Adams.
Seriously looking at Harbrow's numbers, price and convenience through the bye rounds. Tell me I'm crazy.
Harbrow is a tough one. His 10 previous seasons suggest he's a rubbish pick. But he seems to be playing & scoring well. Huge risk
Rance this week, Harbrow after his bye.
Bought last week bc I can cover this week and enjoy the bye round flexibility.
Who to hold out of Butler and Otten?
Otten will bleed a little cash but Butler is really average at the moment, also definitely will not be scoring as highly. Butler out
wait on selection – but i have to make the same choice so will probs go with butler.
Would say Butler. Think that there is a chance he won't be selected, though, to be honest.
All plans are on hold until teams are released. I see potential for a little carnage this week. Plenty of spud rookie performers with the axe hovering.
I agree with you there Rick. Otten & Hampton types may have to be moved down the priority list. I have Eddy Pasrons & Balic in my Fwd line. Nervous
A trifecta of duds. Only need Hannan for the quaddie
INPieman – g'day.
As I stated above, I don't think Balic will play this week as he wasn't seen at training today (whereas Hill and Ballantyne were going flat out).
This "one week in one week out" for Balic has me thinking his issue is more than "illness" (but I hope I am wrong)!!
Stewart looks ok
Why is Shaw considered a top 6 defender THIS season?
He's not. Considered top 6 based on previous seasons. Time will tell if Zac Williams and age has impacted his scoring capacity.
Nail on the head Travo. Zac Williams looks better, showing it now & probably will all season.
He sure doesn't look like a player who will burn you for NOT picking him right now given his timeshare role with Williams. Until he can go back to back hefty tons I wouldn't worry about him especially as most of our defences are already clogged up with round 13 bye players as it is.
he's not and take his 200 out last year barely makes it plenty better adams hurley simmo
Yep his average last year was propped up by freak games. Glad I didn't get him at the moment.
I'm really torn and need help who should I bring in, dusty at $510 or Adams at $555 in mid and move him to def down the track
Adams dpp for byes
