G’day Community, what a terrible week it was.
If you told me before lockout that Selwood, Fyfe, Beams, Dangerfield, JPK, Treloar, Rockliff, Dahlhaus, Zorko, Merrett, Wines, Murphy, Nankervis and Goldstein would all fail to post scores of 90 points or more, I would have slapped you right in the gob to try and fix your brain. Yet here I am writing the Cheat Sheet for Round 7 and I am disgusted by the scores our premiums posted during Round 6.
So what do we focus on this week? Rookies, value picks and holding onto our under performing premiums.
In terms of rookies I’ve excluded Ben McNiece from the sheet because I don’t like his job security. Essendon will be looking to fit in any number of Stanton, Leuenberger, Francis, Myers and Kelly this week and i feel like McNiece could be one of the players to make room for them.
Before you all ask, yes I think that you can still bring Balic into your side despite his price having risen.
All of the value picks I’ve highlighted in the Cheat Sheet are players who have fallen in price since the start of the season or they are capable of easily outscoring their current price point.
Finally, i wouldn’t be trading out any under performing premiums until at least their bye round (if at all). Several hundred coaches traded out with Gary Ablett or Scott Pendlebury last week and those blokes went on to score 210 and 149 respectively.
I’d like to thank our sponsor Fantasy Insider for helping Lekdog’s Puppies score over 2,000 in a terrible weekend of footy. Make sure you check out their free trial offer and of course if you don’t like the service you can just cancel it at anytime. Fantasy Insider basically analyses your side and makes suggestions on who to play during any given round. very useful particularly if you don’t have the 20 hours a week to pump into Supercoach that I do.
See you in the comments, Lekdog
