MERGE TO BECOME THE MIGHTY CATHAWKS.

                  hedski · 16/04/2017 at 22:03

                  NEVER!!

Courtesans · 14/04/2017 at 14:20

Holding him. He is being rested, Hawks don't want his confidence destroyed by the Cats mids who would put him on toast. No Mitchell or Lewis gives him no support. Lets see what he is made of in the coming weeks.

    FCAbel · 14/04/2017 at 14:22

    Fair call.

    Rocksta · 14/04/2017 at 19:21

    Bad call.
He was playing shit before the rest.
    Move him on!
He is SC irrelevant this year

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:27

    Weak as pi$$

CazzaRazza · 14/04/2017 at 14:33

JOM obtained a knock during last week's game and for some reason the medicos kept him on? At one stage, after Puopolo had given up on chasing Salam JOM tried for four steps and also gave up. JOM is not overly quick but he is not that slow! He was obviously hurt.
I don't need him on my field this week so I will use him for Fyfe/Danger loophole.
I expect him to back for round five because his first two games were ok after two years and he should get better because he can play. If he doesn't come up I will trade JOM for a 127K rookie and not $280 on Swallow.

    Wal · 14/04/2017 at 16:17

I would be very surprised if he plays round 5 and then what are your options in the $127k bracket in this highly volatile rookie market?

      Conan_the_Westy · 15/04/2017 at 18:55

One option is Balic which gives you DPP with Mid/Fwd possibilities

    neil Demons Delight · 14/04/2017 at 17:01

    whose salam

      Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:07

I think he plays on the half back flank for north Baghdad

      whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 20:23

      Good with Nick Briewoldt 'cringe'

      hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:28

Sh!t prick plays for the dees

PJH · 14/04/2017 at 14:46

imagine if the Hawks missed the 8 , draft picks , an easier run next year & a second year into oll the hawk noobies , might be another flag coming

    Nick · 14/04/2017 at 15:03

They gave up there next draft pick

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 15:28

    That's a fast rebuild. You a fan?

    BrownlowBoy · 14/04/2017 at 15:28

Their first round draft pick belongs to the Saints

      hedski · 14/04/2017 at 17:14

And Jaeger belongs to the rehab ward

    Big Daz · 16/04/2017 at 09:18

Do your homework before making such silly comments.

KICKITDOWNTHEGUTS · 14/04/2017 at 14:46

Fyfe into Dangerfield for captain using Barret as the loophole, the one time a rookie being dropped has a actually helped me (at least for this weekend, not for cash generation)

PJH · 14/04/2017 at 14:49

who's better ? an injury prone Swallow surrounded by an injury prone midfield or a cheaper George Horlin Smith surrounded by Danger & selwood

    KICKITDOWNTHEGUTS · 14/04/2017 at 15:10

Probably still Swallow with his scoring potential imo

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 15:29

If you own GHS then you don't trade him for swallow.

    Wal · 14/04/2017 at 16:18

    Swallow

Jay · 14/04/2017 at 15:09

I thought Schuey would go huge last night against the Swans so had the VC on him. Very happy with his 127, but not enough to go the loophole. Hopefully Danger gets his predicted 145.

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 15:30

Danger is kinda due for a lower one though.

      Neverweaken · 14/04/2017 at 16:09

120-125 is decision time for me. Guaranteed 254 or maybe 280? Take the 254

        whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 18:24

Yeah if he only gets 100, 50 points is a fair bit to miss out on.

Scored >127, 10 times last year.

          Wedge · 14/04/2017 at 19:34

If danger only gets 100 as capt you only miss out on 27 pts not 50.

            whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 20:16

If he takes 127 = 254 captain score.

Takes 100 from Danger = 200 captain score.

            Loses 54 points………

              Bf23 · 14/04/2017 at 20:22

              127 x 2 + 100 = 354

              100 x 2 + 127 = 327

Therefore you don't lose 54 points you lose out on 27

                whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 20:24

                yeah as I hit enter I realised………..fail

            whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 20:17

lol what am I smokin you are right.

      Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:10

      He's due for a 180 +

      hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:31

Smashed the hawks last year… 160 Monday.

    Wedge · 14/04/2017 at 19:41

If Danger gets 145 and you don't have him capt you miss out on 18 pts. But it he goes off with concussion for eg in first qtr and he's only on peanuts you'll spew

Jeffery · 14/04/2017 at 15:11

Jock and community I traded in witts for gawn on thursday and am now regretting it, will i lose a trade if i now trade witts to martin due to the round already starting?

    Kenny · 14/04/2017 at 15:15

    yes

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 15:30

Regretting it before he's even played. Ouch.

    FCAbel · 14/04/2017 at 15:42

    Witts will go well mate

    Neverweaken · 14/04/2017 at 16:14

Be happy with Witts. I'm running Sandiwitts since last week. Backed him against Hawks and will back him against Kruezer

Ben · 14/04/2017 at 15:25

Who should I loophole Bont, fyfe or Selwood.
Concerned Bont will be tagged tonight
Thoughts???????

    FCAbel · 14/04/2017 at 15:43

    Bont. Tag not a bother

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:33

    Pretty hard to loop Jelwood?

Hello · 14/04/2017 at 15:30

Should we take Newmans 80 or back in Hampton?

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 15:32

    Scores of 50, 64 and 84.

If he gets his top score again you gain 4 points, his lowest score you lose 30.

    Conners · 14/04/2017 at 15:33

    Take the 80 I reckon.

    Jib_Jib · 14/04/2017 at 19:43

As a general rule I take any rookie score over 70.

    Danners · 14/04/2017 at 20:27

    You've gotta take 80 from a rookie

Conners · 14/04/2017 at 15:33

Should I take Shueys 127 or bank on Danger or Martin?

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 18:25

    Take it.

    Jib_Jib · 14/04/2017 at 19:45

I'd bank Danger. Yeah he might be due for a lower score but he's in rare form.

raffaruci · 14/04/2017 at 15:35

What's going on with Heater?? Anyone else worried?

    Courtesans · 14/04/2017 at 15:45

Yep. Bought him as a keeper, an expensive one at that.

    Dave · 14/04/2017 at 16:04

    Trade him. He's spent

      raffaruci · 14/04/2017 at 16:07

Starting to think that myself, the games getting past him poor old heater, fwd line pressure acts are a hit this season

      Mich · 14/04/2017 at 16:17

      Come off it

      Josh · 14/04/2017 at 19:48

Agreed traded him and will get him back later at cheaper price if needed. Other defenders Lloyd, Adams, Laird producing consistent numbers.

        Northernsoul74 · 14/04/2017 at 23:44

Will cost you too many trades.

    Derek · 14/04/2017 at 16:53

GWS success. Ball in defence less.

    neil Demons Delight · 14/04/2017 at 17:10

Heater will come good hopefully when I get him cheap

    Jib_Jib · 14/04/2017 at 19:46

Not thrilled but no role change + no injury = hold. So far I've had bigger problems to worry about.

    Top Gun · 14/04/2017 at 19:57

Please trade Heater so he can go nuts with a 160+

    Danners · 14/04/2017 at 20:28

Teams have used coolers, should come back to form though

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:35

Anyone worried come round 11 and ya got no trades?

    Lachy · 14/04/2017 at 20:45

Literally nothing wrong with heater… he is playing in the best team obviously the ball isn't down his end..

Neverweaken · 14/04/2017 at 16:06

Elliot yo yo is teasing me again. One of my never again players but looking good this year. And will still be under 500k.
Please talk me out of it. Or into it

    Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 17:35

He's never been a Mid/Fwd before has he?…so I think he's just relishing his new freedom and making the most of it…I'm very tempted myself.

    Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 17:40

A Leopard and his spots !!!

      Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 17:42

He has so far, Mid/Fwd is a big difference from Defence only.

    Josh · 14/04/2017 at 19:44

Yeo has burnt me in the past also. I traded Shaw for Newman and added Murphy to mid. For JOM Gives me enough cash to trade in Adams next week. Should have started with Adams.

    Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:16

Stay off the yo yo. Similar to Higgins but not quite that bad…..Everyone was pumping up Higgins two weeks ago but not one word on him since, Couldn't agree more with the leopard and spots comment

    Borko · 14/04/2017 at 20:38

Very early days but I may trade out higgins next week for a genuine keeper.

I think Macrae looks good … four scores between 90 and 110. Will be 515-520k

Will wait on Yeo … will be $50k well spent if he proves he is a genuine keeper by mid season … still a bit too risky at this stage.

Tried and Trusted · 14/04/2017 at 16:59

Anyone know if swallow is okay to play tommorow? heard he may have been carrying a minor injury

    Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 17:07

All good… He only had a corky..

Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 17:07

Those who dumped Goldy might be feeling a bit off colour at the moment …

    Derek · 14/04/2017 at 17:31

    cant beat quality

    Tophawk · 14/04/2017 at 17:33

The ruckman nightmares continue for many coaches. Especially those that moved Goldy on this week. Goldy seems to be playing some decent footy today. 53 SC at the half. Still not sure if he will tonne up as Pruess is pinching plenty of his points.

    Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 17:46

Goldy mustv'e had a huge whinge to the Coach about what everyone was saying about him not being the number one Ruckman anymore.

    neil Demons Delight · 14/04/2017 at 18:01

gawn and goldy still 1and 2 but witts sandy pruess still value

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 18:59

Was obviously playing second fiddle due to injury. Now he's back.

Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 17:49

The Roos look ordinary but the Dogs look terrible.

    Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 19:00

Much better second half than that first half rubbish.

      Northernsoul74 · 14/04/2017 at 23:42

We're out of touch, but will get better as the season goes on.

Ronnyjohn · 14/04/2017 at 18:06

Dogs by 40 roos couldn't hold a lead if their lives depended on it

    Conan_the_Westy · 15/04/2017 at 19:02

That proved prophetic…the outcome, not the margin.

Tophawk · 14/04/2017 at 18:18

Higgins= Burnman. I cant believe I was looking at him a few weeks ago. Glad I came to my senses. Bloody terrible up to three quarter time.

    Top Gun · 14/04/2017 at 19:59

Yes i got sucked in again and the supercoach Gods slapped me silly

      Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:33

Try to forgive yourself, I trusted Higgins in four seasons and got burnt every time. He is the ultimate trap in that he seems to suck coaches in time and time again. He has been through two clubs and been around long enough to be a premo if he was ever going to make that jump.

Just promise yourself you'll never let him get you again.

Maybe get "Higgins. No no no" tattoo on your chest but have it done so it can be read in the mirror when shaving…..

      Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:36

I reckon Higgins may have one or two spud performances left in him in the next few weeks just to drive his price into the crapper before he inevitably gets injured

    Danners · 14/04/2017 at 20:30

Podcasts are still coming out, therefore Higgins has no relevance

      hedski · 14/04/2017 at 23:07

I'd give that comment 20 likes Danners

Touk tuk · 14/04/2017 at 19:02

DHAL!!!! Ohhh boy

    Tophawk · 14/04/2017 at 19:05

He good boy. Thats why you gotta have him. GUN

    Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:39

He spilt an easy chest mark dead in front 35 out early last quarter could easily have been a 150+.

    Conan_the_Westy · 15/04/2017 at 19:04

The blessing of SuperCoach is that while I lick my wounds as a Kangaroos supporter, I can at least get the benefit of 145 points from Dahl.

Joshua · 14/04/2017 at 19:12

Field Taranto or Parfitt?

    BrownlowBoy · 14/04/2017 at 19:14

    Loophole with Barrett

      Joshua · 14/04/2017 at 19:44

      hows that work?

        Randomcliche · 15/04/2017 at 13:34

Put first playing player on the bench with e. Second put the dummy on field. If the first player stuffs it up, switch in the second player. Cheers

          Joshua · 15/04/2017 at 15:06

          Thanks mate.

hedski · 14/04/2017 at 19:32

Seen a few teams swap Maxy for Preuss on field….
Ouch.

    Jib_Jib · 14/04/2017 at 19:47

I know! Gotta trade Maxy out. That's far too much money sitting on the bench for 12 weeks!

      Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:22

Even when he comes back I would be surprised if he just picked up where he left off, he relies on his fitness continuity of his footy is very important, he may even end up sharing with Spencer as they did in the pre season

        Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 02:54

I agree, he's cooked for the season. Just wondering what the logic is behind those holding onto him

    whatyasmokin · 14/04/2017 at 20:14

Lone wolf ruck like Witts easily worth the extra 93K, I reckon even Spencer at 236K would've been worth it.

      Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 08:01

Smokin if you are seriously considering Spencer then you have been tampering with your own product, like a good rookie leave it alone for cash generation

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:49

Yeah maybe not Spencer but even an average ruck in a lone wolf position will score 80+?

There's too much mystery surrounding Preuss' role and JS.

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:40

Sry guys not sure if you read that right. They have traded Max and put Preuss R1!!!!
    MADNESS..

      hedski · 14/04/2017 at 20:57

Oh no Derek not you too??!?!

        Derek · 14/04/2017 at 21:12

        lobbe wasn't playing!

      Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 02:56

Not the worst move if they've used the $$$ to bring in a premo elsewhere, not what I'd do though.

    Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 09:26

Ye that was me. Gawn –> Preuss. Leaving me with SandiPreuss. Noticed cash gen was going to be hard so I did it. Regreting it now…

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 10:30

Was gonna do Gawn to Witts for cash gen too, but decided to swing Nank up (nankilands and Preuss) and got Rooey in, might even whack the C on him this arvo. Hope his knees hold up….

jpb69 · 14/04/2017 at 19:39

Bit concerned about Buddy and Lynch combo in my forward line, both under performing. Hopefully Lynch has a blinder this week

    Russ in W.A · 14/04/2017 at 20:27

Buddy did cop a painful corky early in the game though, limited his mobiliy.

      jpb · 14/04/2017 at 21:03

Saw that , is there more to it ? Last week he looked hesitant in havin a shot at goals – quick to hand ball, always seemed out of positon.

Carloss · 14/04/2017 at 19:43

I can cover Jagers week off easily, but i also have the $$ available to turn him into oliver. Not sold he is a keeper though. He definitely seems to be on the fantasy improve though. Thoughts?

    Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 20:59

127 no where near enough… 140 is the new 130..

    Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 21:00

Fools Gold ..(ignore previous comment… Meant for other post)

Top Gun · 14/04/2017 at 20:00

Wait a week and see how Oliver performs without a Gawn.

    Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:24

    I reckon so

Wellsey · 14/04/2017 at 20:08

I came first in AUS in CoachKings for the Richmond/WC game last weekend and collected $150. Unrelated to the chew but I'm obnoxiously telling everyone.

    Tibor · 14/04/2017 at 20:44

Good for you, good boy, go get your milk.

Jimbo · 14/04/2017 at 20:28

Shaun Bloody Higgins only scored 75!!!

    Lazza · 14/04/2017 at 21:03

    Supercon

    Juzzy · 14/04/2017 at 22:57

As a saints fan who traded Nick Roo to Higgins may I just say ….

    AAARGHRHG …

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 10:01

I feel for you that's rough.

        Jimbo · 15/04/2017 at 11:34

        Trade ??

          whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:57

Maybe give him till the byes?

Frank the Tank · 14/04/2017 at 20:37

I'm spewing that I changed my VC from Dahlhaus to Fyfe when I found out that Barrett got dropped

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 21:00

    We all thought that.

    Tophawk · 14/04/2017 at 21:22

VC on Fyfe and C on Danger. Barrett the C and/or E swinger if required. Nail both at the same time and BANG!

    Jack · 15/04/2017 at 01:44

did the same….but think Danger will go 150+ so hopefully won't matter

    Tyruddanaut · 15/04/2017 at 15:29

290 in the bank for me

Derek · 14/04/2017 at 21:40

Goldy still has a lot of improvement to do. Attended 67 stoppages to Preuss 27, big change from last week. However Goldy only won 29 hit outs compared to 17 for Preuss.

    Juzzy · 14/04/2017 at 23:13

    Agree Derek.

He did look up for the fight tonight though. Tackled hard, presented as a target on half back and wings all game.
I am glad I don't have him but if I did I reckon holding him for one more week might be wise.

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 23:33

    Maybe his ankle is OK?
    Was rooted last week.

    Northernsoul74 · 14/04/2017 at 23:38

    Against Tom Campbell.

      Juzzy · 14/04/2017 at 23:49

      Hey, hang on.
He wasn't just up against Campbell ( who spent a good amount of time getting his own injuries attended to)
He was up against Boyd and Cloke ….

      Aww, geez. Good point Northern.

    INPieman · 15/04/2017 at 07:35

Goldy looked better. But Preuss impacts his scoring a lot. I'm sure goldy will dip to 500 or even under that soon

The BONT · 14/04/2017 at 21:50

What do people think of this Trade

Shaw and Taranto
OUT FOR
Murphy and Burton (was going to go Newman but ran out of time)

    neil Demons Delight · 14/04/2017 at 22:14

must be the odd one out shaw will come good only time

    Hubba · 14/04/2017 at 22:26

Shaw will come good. Surely you have more pressing problems to concentrate on. Murphy wont have the legs and wont be a top 10 mid

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:47

    Scary

    Cr0magn0n · 15/04/2017 at 11:11

Shaw is a gun, he'll finish as a top 6 defender and you'll wish you hadn't traded him out.

      NumbNuts · 15/04/2017 at 11:56

      Shawly you jest

      Tyruddanaut · 15/04/2017 at 15:30

Stop holding on! Shaw has had his time but now it's over

The BONT · 14/04/2017 at 22:30

What do i do with Taranto then
no money left

    Dean Billman · 14/04/2017 at 22:43

Hold him, still some cash to be made.

The BONT · 14/04/2017 at 22:32

Can you reverse trades when your players havent played that you traded in and out

    Krups · 14/04/2017 at 22:40

No. One the round starts and you trade they become permanent

    Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 09:29

    Sadly not

Matt · 14/04/2017 at 23:18

Take bont's 113 or back in the danger man against hawthorn?

    Juzzy · 14/04/2017 at 23:26

    Same boat.

    Danger.

    Northernsoul74 · 14/04/2017 at 23:35

    113 nowhere near enough.

    hedski · 14/04/2017 at 23:35

    Jelwood

    SF4 · 15/04/2017 at 00:07

    113 isn't enough.

Daniel · 14/04/2017 at 23:49

Who should I play on field and who should i use the emergency loophole with out of SPP and Taranto?

uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 01:00

I think I'm travelling well this round. In all the leagues im in, im the only who have 7 players score of 710. Left the VC Franklin thought he'll go big after last weeks loss, which he took it really hard. Now will have depend on Danger as my Cap or take a gamble on Fyfe.

What do ya guys think?
Danger vs Fyfe as Cap for this week.

    uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 01:04

Only one who have used 7 players*

Hate it when your brain thinks too fast than your fingers. Tend to miss a words here there.

johnno2908 · 15/04/2017 at 07:33

Trading in Dusty this week. But who do I trade him for?
Option 1: Trade Gawn, move Nank to ruck and give sht cnt Caddy 1 more chance with a 136BE.
Option 2: Sht cnt Caddy to Dusty, means I have to field Hannan. Leave Gawn on the bench for a week, then trade.

    marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 07:43

Get rid of caddy for sure I reckon he might even be dropped soon. Has been terrible. Who are your three rucks at the moment

      johnno2908 · 15/04/2017 at 08:10

Gawn, Sandi, Nank and Strndik. My team is shit this year

        marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 08:48

Nank has been averaging over 100 so if you have sandi and him as your rucks I would still expect a 200 combine score. Then trading caddy to Martin is a good option. Martin could go massive again and even if he doesn't he will still get over 100. Sit on Gawn til next week then bring in maybe grundy move nank back forward. That's what I would do

        marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 08:49

I think grundy will be the no.1 ruck by seasons end

          whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:58

He'll be up there but not if he has performances like last week, really low DE and bugger all hitouts to advantage.

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 08:11

Option one seems ok. Option 2 is crazy talk.

    Gaz · 15/04/2017 at 08:47

Gawn to either Steff or Grundy and get rid of Caddy.

      marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 08:54

Gawn and caddy both need to be traded. In D.Martin and Grundy. But if you only have one left I'd go D.Martin in first and run nank and sandi as your rucks

        johnno2908 · 15/04/2017 at 09:37

Only 1 trade left as I brought in Newman. Either option sees Nank and Sandi as on field rucks this week. Option 1 might lose me a bit of cash on Caddy, but means I have Caddy on field instead of Hannan. Not sure that will see many points gained though!

    Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 10:05

Get rid of Caddy now! Should have traded him out last week. He has been so scheit that he deserves a new name. SCATTY. Whack Nank in the ruck, and replace Scatty for Dusty. Then deal with Gawn next week. See who backs up bigger this round between Steff and Grundy this week and trade in the winner next week. Then Nank back forward and Sandi and S. Martin/Grundy as your R2 and R1 ready to go for round 5. Job done! Just my take. Good luck.

      johnno2908 · 15/04/2017 at 10:42

That's what I did prior to lockout, but Hannan on ground concerns me. Although Melbourne with a few outs, might score ok

      Loop · 15/04/2017 at 11:33

      Cadudy?

Tony · 15/04/2017 at 07:37

Eddy out for M Murphy or Taranto out for Sloane or Dusty guys

    The BONT · 15/04/2017 at 08:07

Eddy out for Murphy because Taranto will still make money while he is playing and Eddys not playing so trade

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 08:09

I like Sloane he is a good player in a strong side, not sure if dusty can maintain his current scoring rate but still a gun. Not convinced about Murph though, opposition last two weeks have concentrated their defensive effort on Simpson,. Check his output. I think the tag is going back to Murph and he can't cope with it.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:53

    Sloane

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:54

    *Sloane. Gun. Low ownership POD.

Dusty spurs · 15/04/2017 at 08:16

Take dalhaus 145 as captain or back in danger?

    Rocksta · 15/04/2017 at 08:22

    Bank the 145.
Even of Danger gets 160, you are only losing 15 points. It's not worth the risk.

    INPieman · 15/04/2017 at 08:44

Take the 145 every day! Great score

    neil Demons Delight · 15/04/2017 at 08:51

DAHLS score is great tossed up with him and JPK went wrong way

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:46

You should take 130+ any day of the week I reckon.

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 10:25

    Show off! πŸ˜‰

    smote · 15/04/2017 at 11:24

Who is your Captains loophole? I got Dahl as VC and Eddy as my C loophole on field….praying for no late outs for Port as happened 2 weeks ago.

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:28

Should be fine I assume they can only late in off the emergency list?

Rivo · 15/04/2017 at 08:26

Taranto or Parfit on field at M8? Have Parfitt on bench as loophole but how do I work that?

    Rivo · 15/04/2017 at 08:27

    *Barrett on bench.

      Rocksta · 15/04/2017 at 08:39

Put Taranto on the bench with the 'E' on him, and Barrett on field. If Taranto scores well, leave it as it is and you'll get Taranto's score after Brisbane play.
If he doesn't score well, sub Parfitt on the field for Barrett before the start of the Brisbane game. This will enable you to get Parfitt's score.

    Rocksta · 15/04/2017 at 08:27

Whom else do you have on the midfield bench?

      Rivo · 15/04/2017 at 08:36

Barrett, Taranto & O'Mera. Parfitt at M8, Pickett on forward bench at F7.

Rocksta · 15/04/2017 at 08:34

Put Taranto on the bench with the 'E' on him, and Barrett on field. If Taranto scores well, leave it as it is and you'll get Taranto's score after Brisbane play.
If he doesn't score well, sub Parfitt on the field for Barrett before the start of the Brisbane ga8ne. This will enable you to get Parfitt's score.

    Rivo · 15/04/2017 at 08:41

    Thanks Rocksta! Makes sense now.

marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 08:58

Whats everyone's thoughts on JOM.. I've held him this week but his scores and knee problem is now a real concern. But I don't really see an obvious trade for him either, especially since swallow will rise in price after this week

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:45

Failed midpricer like Mills down to Newman, and JOM up to gun would be ideal.

Also many things using swingsets could be achieved.

Or even a downgrade to Robbie Fox.

But alas most of these ships have sailed.

      marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 10:21

I've got Newman so I'd have to wait til next week. If he plays I'll probably hold him but if he misses another week he will go. Who to bring in is the question. Ideally I'd like to go up to beams as I see him being a keeper til seasons end. And he's not too pricey as yet

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 10:23

There are so many similarities with Brad Crouch of last year. Almost identical starting price. Brad played first two rounds, them missed, one week became two, then 3. Came back r7 & 8, missed a few more………

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:27

Yep as soon as I heard out for a week that was it bang.

      marcusproudson · 15/04/2017 at 15:21

Yeah its bad signs. I don't see an obvious replacement for $360k though which is what I'll have unless I burn two trades downgrading someone else for extra cash

sCripps · 15/04/2017 at 09:26

It seems like a lot of discussion going on about heavy trading. So I thought I'd just give everyone a friendly reminder to put down the mouse and pick up some chocolate this Easter. We already have a few examples of promos having poor starts and starting to turn things around. Hold firm!

I'm strategically looking ahead and want 20 trades left come round 9 where I plan to do some premo upgrades through the bye rounds. I have used 2 trades so far, so I'm tracking well?

How many trades have people used and how many trades do you hope to have come the bye rounds – round 9

    Ben · 15/04/2017 at 09:52

Have used 3 plan to have 20

    Winter · 15/04/2017 at 10:21

    Only used 2
    Taranto to Hoskin-Elliot
    Hibberd to Newman
Really got no problems other then Hanners and Shaw but gotta hold

    Northernsoul74 · 15/04/2017 at 10:33

    Used 2 trades.

    Tyruddanaut · 15/04/2017 at 15:34

4 :(. But I I'll cam down from now on and get 19-20 trades

    John James · 15/04/2017 at 19:19

Used 4 so far Crouch to Bont Shaw to Adams JOM to Martin Smithy to Newman Happy with all four trades, since they have improved my team, only plan to use another six trades before the byes.

    John James · 16/04/2017 at 19:50

I take part of that back JOM to Dusty this week was not very good timing.

    BockChoy · 17/04/2017 at 14:48

4 trades of which 3 were injury cover (Gawn, Rampe and Smith).

Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 09:53

Fyfe into Dangerfield this week. Eddy to be used as both the captain and forward emergency loophole option. If Fyfe goes 140+ then BANG the C goes on Eddy after the Freo/demons game. Only a very short window to do this as the GWS and Port match starts 10 minutes after the conclusion of the Freo match. My opponent does not have Taranto in Trig's league. Getting his points strategic so the E will go on him on my forward line. Eddy to deliver his points also. Eddy very very useful this week. BANG BANG! And this time, he better not be a late in! Welcome

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 09:59

Yeah I'm using him too. Late in will kill me.

      Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 10:17

Barrett might still be handy for a little midfield E loophole manoevre planned for tomorrow.

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:26

Not confident on SPP vs GWS this week I already put the E on Fox.

Have SPS and GHS on field have a feeling they will both outscore him easily.

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 10:17

my captains last two weeks have been Eddy and Gawn. Think I might go fyfe into danger this week for something different

      Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 10:31

I will be watching out for the late ins and outs for the Port-GWS match. Any hint of Eddy playing would mean a last minute reshuffle. I am out this afternoon on a family outing so l cannot watch the Freo game. (Just monitor the stats on fanfooty) My mobile phone will be 100% charged before I leave the house today. My gut tells me that the super coach gods could be dropping in for a visit today. Cheers

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:23

Can't they only bring in emergencies at this point? Eddy is not on the list.

      Steeeve · 15/04/2017 at 10:44

I saw that, ouch. What's your rank after those two disasters?

Winter · 15/04/2017 at 10:16

Houston or Parfitt on field, can't loophole with anyone

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:36

    Parfitt? Flip a coin maybe.

Col · 15/04/2017 at 10:26

Still not sure which way to go
1. Gawn to Roo, swing Nank in ruck (leaves no ruck cover)
Or
2. Gawn to witts, bank the $$$ & upgrade a rookie next week

    Winter · 15/04/2017 at 10:28

Gawn to Roo, premium for premium

    Northernsoul74 · 15/04/2017 at 10:31

I've gone option 1. Nervous about no cover for Sandi but my team looks so much better with Roo in my fwd line.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:34

Like Witts. last chance to get a decent lone wolf ruck this cheap.

Jimmy · 15/04/2017 at 10:29

Shaw and Omeara out for Burton and Sloan or

Roughy and Omeara out for Murphy and Dan Butler/ Broomhead

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:19

Don't like either one sorry. Should hold Shaw and Roughy just got 100, hold him too.

Choose 2 on field out of,
Marchbank, Otten, Hampton?

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:20

Marchbank and Otten, although Hampton seems to be building.

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 12:30

Agree 100% with smokin on that one. Otten is a great get, he is an experienced guy at rookie price who turned out not to be done and dusted after all.

Chenz · 15/04/2017 at 10:55

Community would you take pruess's 60 or roll the dice with the under performing hannan?

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:33

Almost take it, Hannan has been useless with only 10 touches a game.

    neil Demons Delight · 15/04/2017 at 12:15

    Hannan could go well today

    Randomcliche · 15/04/2017 at 13:39

Marcus · 15/04/2017 at 11:15

Someone please help. Do I field Taranto or Houston? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much

    Botswana · 15/04/2017 at 11:35

50/50 Marcus. Choose who you enjoy watching.

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 11:57

GWS will kick a big score. TT might get on the end of a few

    neil Demons Delight · 15/04/2017 at 12:12

Taranto can go big will probably play forward mostly and will clunk a few

Stupid Coach · 15/04/2017 at 11:21

One trade left this week. Gawn to S Martin or JOM to Swallow. Leaning towards first option as I have no issues in the midfield.

Also, should I put the VC on Fyfe or Roo. I currently have it on Roo, however, my opponent has gone with Fyfe as C.

Thoughts????

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 11:32

I think covering yourself on the Fyfe as VC is a good way to go, if he gets 150+ you're safe. If he goes low you can change to someone else and have a high chance of gains.

Gawn to Witts for cheapie, or Grundy/Martin are good trades.

SideshowBob · 15/04/2017 at 11:36

Trade Shaun Higgins ??

    JB · 15/04/2017 at 12:24

    Keep … What's the alternative?

      SideshowBob · 15/04/2017 at 19:52

Thinking Elliot Yeo or Toby Green

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 12:26

You bet he is following his time honoured pattern from previous years, start red hot and draw in buyers, Produce a series of crap games to drop his value, get injured

      Derek · 15/04/2017 at 13:28

      Lol at "time honoured"

NumbNuts · 15/04/2017 at 12:04

SPP or Taranto on field?
I'm leaning towards Taranto at home and with SPP seemingly dropping off a little..
Thoughts?

    NumbNuts · 15/04/2017 at 12:11

Scratch that. Just saw they are playing at Canberra. Parfitt? Welcome

Pman · 15/04/2017 at 12:07

Tossing up either Sandilands or Fyfe for VC with Dangert Captain. Fyfe is probably a safer option but reckon Sandi could go huge with no Max Gawn? What are people's thoughts on this one?

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 12:21

Sandi was ok last week but if ever he had an opportunity to score big it was last week at home in a win against the dogs who don't have great ruck stocks.

No max is good for him but Spencer should be at least able to negate his influence. Spencer ain't great but not terrible as a tap ruck. Spencer really playing for his career now, he was looking at 20 or so games of footy at Casey a week ago now he has a clear crack at afl level for about 15 weeks and did look reasonable during JLT. I wouldn't pick Spencer or anything crazy but Sandi may face a pretty motivated bloke and not get the easy ride some expect

      Pman · 15/04/2017 at 12:39

Good feedback re Spencer. So you reckon Fyfe is a beeter option? I'm definitely leaning towards Fyfe but a couple of my opponents have Fyfe as VC so thought Sandilands might be worth a punt with Danger to fall back on.

        Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 12:48

I wouldn't jump off danger unless I was sitting on about145. Fyfe way more likely to deliver that

          Derek · 15/04/2017 at 13:52

Yeah. Sandi will be good for 120 but fyfe could go 150

      Derek · 15/04/2017 at 13:27

Who is next after Spencer? King?

I have Watts in my draft team, picked him very late. Not unhappy about it now, he could do good.

      Mick · 15/04/2017 at 13:33

Cheers you answered my question. I have had VC on Sandi, was thinking he might go big with no Gawn. Fyfe it is then!

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 12:25

Not bad option. Has me thinking

patrick365 · 15/04/2017 at 12:17

SPP or Parfitt on field? I feel like I'm point chasing a bit and don't want that to cloud my judgement but feel like parfitt could do better playing hawthorn instead of facing off against GWS.

    Pman · 15/04/2017 at 12:36

    SPP.

finnigin · 15/04/2017 at 12:17

hey all marchbank or hampton on field

    Pman · 15/04/2017 at 12:36

Have same dilema and are leaning towards Marchbank on field.

    hedski · 15/04/2017 at 12:36

I have the same conundrum.. Thinking Hampton but its a tough call.

    INPieman · 15/04/2017 at 13:18

Conditions far better for Marchbank to apply his intercept game

    Mick · 15/04/2017 at 13:32

My backline is a bit thin, so I have both onfield. Was going to loophole Newman's score if he did well, 80 wasn't enough for me.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 13:47

your crazy 80 from a def rookie is like 100 from a mid rookie

      Tim · 15/04/2017 at 15:05

Madness. Take 80 from a rookie every day of the week.

    INPieman · 15/04/2017 at 13:03

    Not enough

      Derek · 15/04/2017 at 13:23

I'm down to my last 27 after this week.

      Mick · 15/04/2017 at 13:28

      There are never enough left.

    Mick · 15/04/2017 at 13:29

    26. Not glad I have already used 4. But 3 were corrective trades, offloading dud rookies and bringing in promising ones before the price rise. And one to swap Caddy for Yeo, which has so far proven to be a good move.

    uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 14:05

I've gone bang! Bang! Bang! Will be doing more trading this week and next week. Then holding until the bye round, hopefully all my players stays on park before then.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:05

    25. been trading fairly hard but I think I'm in a reasonable position to have at least 20 by round 11 byes after trading out Houston/SPP and Eddy if things go well.

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 15:14

    John James · 15/04/2017 at 19:05

26,happy with that, all four trades have improved my team.

Mick · 15/04/2017 at 13:28

Am I the only bloke strongly considering VC on Sandilands? Going up against a Gawn-less Dees outfit? Can someone in the next 10-15 minutes (before the game starts) tell me I'm dreamin, or on the money?

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 13:43

No doubt he will score 90+ but will he score 140+
Who else you got to whack VC on?

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 13:45

      Go with your gut mate

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 13:36

Taking Dahls 145
Would not event be taliking bout this if it were not for Dangerfields ability to go huge and well Hawthorn scares me at how bad they have been

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 13:47

Shiels will tag Dangerfield for certain. Langford to Selwood. Guthrie to Mitchell. It will be a tag-fest

      Tibor · 16/04/2017 at 08:39

Wouldn't someone playing for hawthorn need to actually try and get the footy and score

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 15:10

Good call, you'd be nuts not to take that.

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 13:51

Yeah the perfect storm would be for danger to still get 110 no more than that plz lol

Conan_the_Westy · 15/04/2017 at 15:10

Any word on Tom Boyd?
I have him as a DPP in the forward line although his output hasn't been stellar and I was considering moving him on in the next few rounds. Nankervis could be swapped into the forward line as I have Stradnica as a loophole in the ruckline anyway.
Witts & Boyd were virtually the same price going into this round but that will no doubt change with Boyd's injury restricting to only 3 points. Any suggestions?

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 15:14

Spencer outscoring Sandi 5 mins into 3rd who would av thought…

Think Sandi after next week will become Martin for me

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 15:28

Yeah I'm not that suprised by that, Spencer has a big opportunity to cement a regular gig for himself, even after Gawn gets back, and Sandi is getting on a bit, reckon Sandi still has some money to make though. I won't be moving him on just yet.

      uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 15:37

I agree with ya Russ, I started with Sandi as a stepping for a premo. Hoping he'll stay on the park until the bye Rounds, unless he is injured, why would ya wanna trade him out before then?

        DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 15:48

haha and he won't be a stepping stone after next weeks game??
I did a double downgrade this week to free up cash to then move on starting midpricers that have been pretty avg to be fair and turn them into premiums.

If you want to hold onto Sandi till beye rounds thinking he will be worth much more than $400,000 feel free

Btw he is giving away more frees than any other ruckman

          uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 15:57

So long he doesn't go below his starting price. Rucks are most inconsistent position non of them will maintain their price and by then all my Rookie should be cherry ripe for culling and have enough cash to upgrade Sandi to a cheap premo on decline.

          Welcome!

            DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:02

Agree mate just not feeling like Sandi is worth holding onto till byes gotta go as soon as his price has peaked for mine. Hope it's around 450k

          whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:59

Trade for Spencer on the bubble, make maybe 200K there and upgrade to whatever ruck is fit and firing before finals.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 15:49

Yeah did not say next week I said week after mate

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:32

Spencer as a lone wolf ruck is a better selection than someone like Preuss.

    uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 16:20

SandiFyfe going nuts at the end of last qtr. Sandi is solid for mine til the bye round.

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 15:45

Freo looking pretty good, is that Balic kid maybe worth bringing in next week for O'Meara?

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:51

Yeah for sure, 123K, MID/FWD swing.

Oh and Spencer could be a good swap for Sandi.

Spencer and Witts R1 and R2 who would of thought.

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 15:56

Haha cheers mate, yeah as much as we think we know what's gonna happen, no one really knows what's gonna happen lol

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:56

*Considering there will be two more price changes for Sandi before Spencer is on the bubble.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 17:05

    Sandi managed a 91, surprised.

Trader · 15/04/2017 at 15:55

Whos the better play on the field Houston or spp

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 15:56

That's an interesting question, I actually think Houston.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:04

      Agree Houston
SPP lack of speed showed against crows and GWS is next quickest I think
But could come out as a raging bull and pull 90+

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:07

I've got em both on field so hope they both Tonne up…if I had to choose, it's a 50-50 call for me.

      Trader · 15/04/2017 at 16:23

Ok what about Houston or Parrott on the field

        Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:33

Houston has been more consistent than Parfitt, if that's who you mean.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 17:05

    Houston looking good

    Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 17:20

    Hope you picked Houston…

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:05

Fyfe playing third fiddle to Neale and Mundy this week, wonder how many peeps will trade Fyfe out this week?..lol

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:13

    Kidding me right?
No one will trade out Fyfe lock np will be top 10 mids

Bullshit · 15/04/2017 at 16:07

Oliver just went from 91 to 112 with just 1 handball!!!!!
BULLSHIT!!!!

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:12

Saw that idk what's going on here
I think he must get a lot of contested ball gets followed up by his disposals

    John James · 15/04/2017 at 16:57

His stats and score are about the same as Fyfe so no big deal.

    neil Demons Delight · 15/04/2017 at 17:13

    Great handball though

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 18:03

      haha

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 18:04

Was probably a correction from previous points not tallied.

BrownlowBoy · 15/04/2017 at 16:09

Lock Balic in for next week.

uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 16:10

Balic must be a MUST this week will be on the bubble

Doc · 15/04/2017 at 16:21

Take Balic's score with the loop hole or back Powell-pepper in?

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:25

    I'd back Pepper

    uDonkey · 15/04/2017 at 16:31

Personally I'd take 70+ from a Rookie. SPP may score a bit more and may score less, also consider their up against GWS. Will probably struggle to het his hands on the ball on top of that Pittard is back on the side.

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 17:18

Think you might be right Donk, sorry Doc, hope you didn't listen to me!

        Doc · 15/04/2017 at 17:55

        I backed Pepper in!

My only way to loophole was with jake Barrett and I was nervous he may be a late in and I'd miss balic anyway for Barret.

        Typical.

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:22

Have to trade Garlett and McCarthy in this week lol

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:25

Haha McCarthy $202 before this game? Et some peeps will bring him in lol

      Josh · 16/04/2017 at 03:03

Hold McCarthy it seems I traded him prematurely it seems

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:32

Some people ONLY chase last week's points Dave, I used to for the first few years I played lol, disaster follows.

    Tibor · 15/04/2017 at 17:09

Spot on look at those that chased Higgins despite his wretched history

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:39

472k in the bank
Watching Shaw today and Montagna tomorrow like a hawk. Swing Adems in my midfield next couple of weeks and wait for certain midfield premiums drop in price around the byes

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:40

    Adams*

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 16:46

Lloyd from Sydney's been very reliable this year, glad I had him from the get go.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 16:48

Yeah I am looking at him too good scores for 0-4 start

        Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 17:38

Wonder if he'll maintain it once Sydney start winning a few games.

Look how Shaw is scoring now that GWS dominate.

          whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 18:03

Loyd runs all day he racks up touches whatevers happening.

            Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 19:19

That's what we used to think about Shaw!

I do agree with you though, looks like he's having a breakout. Wish I started with him.

              whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 21:02

I more meant Lloyd runs all over the ground, Shaw doesn't really do that.

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 17:08

Yep very happy with my premo selections of Docherty, Adams and Loyd.

        DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 17:15

I have Adams, Laird, JJ and Rance
Doc if his price dips around byes Shaw and Montagna watchlist

          Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:53

Good backline, you should be full premo there soon if you make the right calls.

Fanzine · 15/04/2017 at 16:42

I like Shaw selection too he must perform today otherwise he is starting to look like a must avoid

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 17:00

Houston!!!

    Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 17:04

40 points not even qtr time

whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 17:07

Nah plenty wouldn't have him due to fears of job security. Luckily I am not one of them.

But of course he is benched and am counting on Parfitt and Butler lol.

Ryan · 15/04/2017 at 17:08

SPP bandwagon coming to a hault….

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 17:12

inside mid type playervwill score better in 2nd half when game opens up

      Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 17:15

      Lets hope so

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 18:01

this is when it gets interesting. Everyone has him….. what will people do now?

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 18:05

At this rate 50 will be heavenly

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:06

I'm gonna hold, but many might knee jerk reaction him out to Balic, I still need to get rid of Hibberd and O'Meara so it'll be one of those two out to Balic..or maybe wait to see how Myers goes if he comes in next week.

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:21

Super bloody disappointing this week though, "Big bodied inside Midfielder", "Gun", "Bull", more like , Ghost, missing in action, Ghost!

    Captain Risky · 15/04/2017 at 19:23

GWS was always going to be tough. Carlton next week !!

eskimo · 15/04/2017 at 17:17

Cant decide which two out of these three? Help me make a decision please πŸ™‚
Marchbank, Hampton, Mcgrath

    eskimo · 15/04/2017 at 17:17

    on field I mean

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 17:23

First two for mine, bench McGrath, don't blame me if that doesn't work out though lol

    Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 17:34

    Agree Id bench Mcgrath

    eskimo · 15/04/2017 at 17:39

    thanks fellas

      Derek · 15/04/2017 at 18:05

McGrath plays in defence. I think he will see plenty of the ball tonight. If he is good enough, will do ok. I'm playing him.

        Eskimo · 17/04/2017 at 09:50

glad I did do this at the last minute. put mcgrath on instead of hampton.

Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 17:17

No 75% of coaches don't have him

Holty · 15/04/2017 at 17:28

Is wines being tagged or is he just spudding it up?

    Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 17:36

I'm not watching the game but according to fanfooty he isn't being tagged. He's playing inside mid with a DE of 50%. That'll be what's hurting his scoring.

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 17:48

Seems to be lifting his game a bit now, Kelly and Greene are spudding it so far though.

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 17:42

Mummy 2 disposals at almost half time, at least the big bloody Sasquatch can tap it out ok.

Lazza · 15/04/2017 at 17:45

Marchbank or Hampton on field? Leaning toward Hampton as I think Lynch will wipe Marchbank..

    Derek · 15/04/2017 at 18:07

Agree. Hampton will get plenty of it tonight. Crows will have a massive score

    Finnius123 · 15/04/2017 at 23:07

    Marchbank

DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 18:27

SPP on field…

    hedski · 15/04/2017 at 18:44

Glad I looped him and put Taranto on (so far).
Looks like Parfitt will get a gig Monday.

      DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 18:49

I looped Taranto and Partfitt instead.

        hedski · 15/04/2017 at 19:19

        Bugger

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:27

There's a good reason to get rid of Shaw, he's done his ankle or something.

    TBone · 15/04/2017 at 18:35

    does it look bad?

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:40

Not sure yet mate, he went down into the rooms though.

        Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 18:43

Not looking good. Another bullet dodged. Wow

          Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 19:06

3/4 weeks so far now I've had a premo get injured. Maybe 2017 just isn't my year!

    musicissport · 15/04/2017 at 18:55

Shaw back on playing forward, just had an I50

Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 18:49

3) for 32SC at the end of the game. Peppa on the bench. Oink oink!!

DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 18:54

Might need to trade O'Meara to Swallow now, due to Taranto and SPP not performing well and I don't trust partfitt enough to put him on field after already fielding SPP's score. Pity Barret had to go and get dropped also

    TBone · 15/04/2017 at 18:57

if youre gonna do it, id do it right now!

    Finnius123 · 15/04/2017 at 23:06

    Probably shouldn't have in hindsight

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 18:55

6) stays benched until he gets traded out lol

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 19:01

Houston!, what a bust also…crab has scored sweet FA after quarter time.

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 19:17

Yup only 28pts for rest of game that sucks

Tim · 15/04/2017 at 19:02

What in the f is Heath Shaw doing in the forward pocket?

    Jib_Jib · 15/04/2017 at 19:04

    Injured apparently

      Tim · 15/04/2017 at 19:12

      Right, cheers Jib.

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 19:07

Glad I got rid of Taranto for Witts this week, Taranto may be a good player in the future, but not this season.

Jack · 15/04/2017 at 19:14

Starting with Docherty over Shaw keeps on getting better lol

DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 19:16

Hmmm decisions. I can go O'Meara to swallow so I don't have to take Taranto's 60 or I can just slot Partfitt on field and hope I get lucky

Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 19:18

Was expecting more from Houston after his 41 at Qtr time…

And PP on my field. My SC team will continue to plumet the ranks this week.

    DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 19:19

Yeah a lot will hurt from SPP this week

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 19:24

Mucho disappointo from both those lads this week!

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 19:27

Houston still a good score just a case of what could have been but yeah still was expecting 80 easily from him after first qtr.

SPP I hope 70% or more of caoches who have him still used him

        Mick · 15/04/2017 at 19:31

On my bench thank sc gods

    Finnius123 · 15/04/2017 at 23:03

Very happy I loopholed SPP with Jaegar. Now starting Parfitt onfield. Did have swallow though so not all sunshine and rainbows…

      Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 09:30

Supercoach is never all sunshine and rainbows

        hedski · 16/04/2017 at 10:42

        Turds and pi$$ puddles.

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 19:20

Shaw another price drop next week, come round 6 wooshka! Will be real cheep just hope he does not get rested next week or I will have to wait till round 7.
He was on track for 95

    Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 19:36

It really hurts when you pay full price for something and someone else gets it cheaper.

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 19:42

No way to tell it's gonna happen though Youngy, best thing to do is make your own notes each season about each player, and try to determine a pattern about them.

Otherwise, you just forget what happened each year and can get burned again by the same players.

Bullshit · 15/04/2017 at 19:21

SPP last touch was holding the ball when he was on 41 still finished on 41 score didnt change more BULLSHIT!!

Dasha · 15/04/2017 at 19:41

hampton or otten on fieldddddddddd????

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 19:45

Otten, with no Jenkins there he'll back up Ruck and Fwd, too late now anyhoo, game started 4 minutes ago.

DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 19:47

Already regretting bringing in Swallow. Should have stuck to my plan and held O'Meara

    Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 20:08

I wouldn't write him off yet mate.

      DefyingMadness · 15/04/2017 at 20:28

Saw him limping and Pickett is outscoring him…

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 20:07

Hands up who traded out GC Tom Lynch this week?..lol

    jpb · 15/04/2017 at 22:34

I kept him , and Buddy

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:55

Good job, averages are averages, and he's doing better than last season. Might pick him up round 11-13.

        Mal Burn · 15/04/2017 at 23:17

        Rd 10 be ideal

          whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:32

Depends on downgrades/upgrades at the time, might not cull the rookies till 11-13. But yeah as you say anytime after round 9.

Holty · 15/04/2017 at 20:18

I said this last post about murphy after people were saying dont pick him because he cant handle the tag.
'I dont have him but has been a proven premo before. I think he will average 110+. People have also forgotten there is no malthouse either. Malthouse destroyed his sc relevance when he was there. He was tagged in the years prior to malthouse and still averaged 110+.
Full preseason and no Malthouse could mean big things'

Injuries did affect him but people really forget quickly about how Malthouse affected him. Agree its too late to jump on now but when time comes to start upgrading to premos, you could do a lot worse then Smurph.

    Neverweaken · 15/04/2017 at 22:12

Jumped on him this week. BMurph out and Smurph in.very happy

      Holty · 15/04/2017 at 23:32

Nice. I just didnt want to change my structures. Could of had a few more points now but still have that extra valuable trade left. Either way, it appears smurph is a keeper

        smote · 17/04/2017 at 00:51

Surely the Smurphtrain will get derailed soon enough. If Carlton stay reasonably competitive and Murphy is racking it up then the hard tag will come and his high scores will plateau out.

Blaknight · 15/04/2017 at 20:20

Using Eddy as a FWD Loophole with Houston and Parfitt. Do i take Houston's 68 or sub in Parfitt?

Leaning towards Parfitt at this stage.

    Northernsoul74 · 15/04/2017 at 20:24

    68 isn't bad from a rookie.

    Holty · 15/04/2017 at 20:33

Umm i might be a bit slow but explain to me how u are using the loophole when eddy and houston both played already?

      Blaknight · 15/04/2017 at 20:44

Oh dammit your right. Totally stuffed that one up… Looks like im taking Houston's 68 lol

        CoachDamo · 15/04/2017 at 22:30

        Probably the right call anyway.

Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 20:21

Who's better and has more Job security out of Harley Balic and Zac Fisher?

    Tophawk · 15/04/2017 at 20:52

Balic. Fisher has only played a half of footy.

      Russ in W.A · 15/04/2017 at 21:15

Yeh I get that but anyone out there know anything about Fisher or Balic other than their scores this week, what type of players they are…what they were like as juniors?

    Juzzy · 15/04/2017 at 22:45

Freo took him round 2 of the 2015 draft I think.
Was injured for the majority of 2016. Came back and starred for Peel in the last few games.
Got 35ish possies in the 2nds for the first couple of weeks this year.

Ross declared him as a certain starter before round 3 . Never heard Ross say that about a kid before.
Freo won today so to answer your question I think Balics js is pretty solid.

Don't know anything about Fisher …

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:50

Liking Balic from what you're saying.

    Finnius123 · 15/04/2017 at 22:59

Balic probably better JS but fisher carved up out there. Did you watch the game? For a man on debut he was very impressive.

      Browncow · 15/04/2017 at 23:36

Fisher known for his A grade skills with Perth over here. Size was what held him back in the draft. Was about 60 kgs when drafted. Wombat was all over him. Balic was an absolute bargain the year before also. As Juzzy said was on fire in the WAFL. Time to grab Balic and take another look at Fisher.

        Juzzy · 15/04/2017 at 23:53

        Cheers Browncow.
Will take a close look at Fisher.

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 21:01

JOM to D.Swallow o boy glad I never saw the upside in such a trade
Would have to waste another trade to move him on as a stepping stone anyway so enjoy the 330k stepping stone

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 21:09

Yep paint the fence had to be an upgrade or downgrade. I went with fox which may be a mistake but I can go bang bang elsewhere and not have an injury-prone midpricer stagnating.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 21:14

Same her mate I went JOM to Fox
      And Taranto's bs to Newman

Got 472k in the bank and will cook up 2 premo's

whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 21:05

Have Newman and McGrath on bench, Marchbank and Hampton on field. Not looking great.

Guess I may have a win with SPS on field instead of SPP though.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 21:06

Marchbank suddenly on 54 SC could end up ok, must've got some intercept marks.

      DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 21:10

yup went SPP over McGrath yay

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:29

Went Hampton over McGrath, can't win em all.

On a positive note it seems McGrath will be a good investment.

Jack · 15/04/2017 at 21:12

Pretty sure there was no scaling for the GWS Port game?

TBone · 15/04/2017 at 21:26

Swallow just nowhere near the ball, so trustrating to watch. Not even carrying a knock

    hedski · 15/04/2017 at 22:00

    Pickett outscored him…

      Cogla13 · 17/04/2017 at 08:04

He did get a knock early on and then played forward. Expected to recover for next week.

hedski · 15/04/2017 at 21:51

Stuffed up putting Hampton on over M'Bank, big last qtr needed.
Pickett getting better….. Slowly.

hedski · 15/04/2017 at 21:51

Glad I never picked JOM or Swallow.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:53

Good call. Glad I only picked one and started with him. One trade out is ok by me.

Youngy · 15/04/2017 at 22:05

Feeling pretty bad about Swallows 40.

The only thing that makes me feel better is that there are people who traded him in this week.

    Neverweaken · 15/04/2017 at 22:13

I had him from the start. Did tell people not to swap JOM to him. Same same

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:57

I think most people on here did say not to trade him for Swallow. But what can you do.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:30

Swallow and SPP on field for peeps has made my tougher matchups now quite winnable.

    DEE · 15/04/2017 at 23:25

Was going to trade him in for JOM but listened to the pod cast Thursday night and took the guys advice not to trade down to swallow.
So made the decision to trade Bob murphy to Newman freeing up enough cash to trade JOM to Sloane.
Newman scored the same as Bob so that looks like a good trade and watching Sloane tonight he has Danger like traits.
Only injury will prevent him becoming one of the top mids.
    Very happy with my trades.

      whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:33

Nice trades. Non-top ten player to cash cow and dominant midfielder. Supercoach 101.

    Danners · 16/04/2017 at 09:18

    Indeed especially for Jaeger

DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 22:35

Up against a guy with Swallow and Watson

    Terry · 16/04/2017 at 09:42

Sounds like an easy kill. I've got plenty of flog opponents who were silly enough to play the SPP burnman on field at the Giants lol!

      Nice One Terry · 16/04/2017 at 20:45

Nice work! Got any pearls for us for next week?

Luke444 · 15/04/2017 at 22:41

Bargain ALERT. Connor Menapoo named against lions for sone stupid reason. Lennon Omitted. Bloody tigers what are you thinking. Give Lennon a decent run at it FFS

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:57

    Should trade Swallow to him.

    Juzzy · 16/04/2017 at 00:16

Might get him in for nostalgia .

Cazza Razza · 15/04/2017 at 22:41

I kept JOM because he is not as poor as the 'so called experts' say. Yes, he got a knock to the knee but he should be ok next game under Hawthorn's excellent Medical supervision and I am an Adelaide supporter.
Resisted the Swallow trade, poor game apparently and thus saved a valuable trade. If he is out for a while I am in a better position than those who traded Swallow in, because I have saved a trade and I will get a player on the bubble in a week or two have an additional $125K.
Still have 28 trades and hope I have 22 by the start of the byes.
Good luck to everyone because we all need that four letter word, luck!

    DavidSA · 15/04/2017 at 22:49

No one is questioning his ability mate I think u missed the more important info by many people saying that he is made of glass. Might look at him in 2020 when or if he can play a full season.

Guy is more broken down than Rockliff

      Cazaly Razza · 15/04/2017 at 23:01

We will see sonny. You miss the point of trigger fingers trading JOM out because he missed a game.

      Noirlust · 16/04/2017 at 20:51

Rockcliff broken down with a 176, great analogy

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 22:52

Agree, trading in Swallow was a bad idea.

Agree to disagree on holding JOM though, waste of time honestly. Not a keeper, Scored 71,89 and 44 now out for a week. BE 58.

Move on for profit or premo. Was all for keeping him after the 44 but just isn't worth a spot if not productive.

      Cazaly Razza · 15/04/2017 at 23:07

Smoking man, I have read you previous (Sensible) comments. JOM hasn't played for two years. History has shown that the Hawks recruit well so you have to give them some credit. If he is out/scores poorly then out he goes. I doubt if I will lose $'s.

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:35

True and I think he's a great player and really want him to do well. Will be such a slow burn though and missing a game could just be the beginning of further games lost down the track. Hope he comes good for you and himself as a player.

        whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:36

And for the record I made a bold statement that by the end of the year he would be the top inside midfielder at Hawks, looking doubtful but maybe by next year.

          Cazza Razza · 15/04/2017 at 23:52

Ok, you seem to have a handle on things and this 'chat' is what these 'discussions' are about. I too hope he comes good, slow burn or not, however my main point is that I value my trades and didn't panic and trade in Swallow like X number of SCers did.
I am doing ok this round thus far but in this game, you never know. If my four Collingwood boys do well tomorrow like my three Adelaide boys did tonight, I may score 2350ish?

            whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:55

Oh damn right, you made a very wise choice rather than sideways trading him for sure, I was just clarifying that there are very valid reasons for trading him, but sure isn't going from one prior 2017 injured player to another. We''ll see how it all pans out. JOM could come really good he showed signs with that 36 touch game.

            NutSack · 16/04/2017 at 05:20

Cazza Razza is crazy if you think JOM will play 10 games this year. Him and DSwallow could be split in half with a hip and shoulder from a light bulb

    Rocksta · 16/04/2017 at 10:06

JOM has scored poorly and is now also missing games.
He isn't a Keeper and his cash generation is now very limited. He Should never have been traded to Swallow as he too is not a Keeper.
Trade to a Premo or down to an upcoming rookie is a no brainer!

    Derek · 16/04/2017 at 10:21

I had Brad Crouch last year. Carbon copy.

Daz · 15/04/2017 at 23:08

Should I take Murphy's VC score or keep Danger as C. Opponent is Jock and he has Danger and I have advantage currently.

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:37

123 that's a tough one. Could just take it as Danger could just grab a 100 or highly unlikely but a sure win if he gets hurt etc.

    Randomcliche2 · 15/04/2017 at 23:42

If ya totally focused on a league match and you are at advantage it makes sense to minimize their outs, i.e. Danger going large on you.

Steeeve · 15/04/2017 at 23:20

Already down to 25 trades and thinking Balic has to come in this week. Surely Ross can't ruin the kids chances of making us some money???

Juzzy · 15/04/2017 at 23:32

Balic ain't going anywhere.

Ross knows it is the Easter weekend. He will treat it as a long sought after "rookie rebirth".

Surely he won't screw us again …..

    whatyasmokin · 15/04/2017 at 23:44

Don't think he will. Made massive changes ahead of the bulldogs clash and they won. Notice he didn't make a change this week for melbourne, and another win. Would be stupid to make changes to a winning side and if anyone gets dropped it couldn't be Balic he showed more this week than last confidence must be building.

      Juzzy · 16/04/2017 at 00:03

Yep. He is the jump on player.

      But for who ??

        Pete · 16/04/2017 at 10:02

I've got Eddy on the forward bench so that's an easy decision for me.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 07:46

You just never know with Toss

      Derek · 16/04/2017 at 10:22

He needs to fit Zac back in somewhere

Angry · 16/04/2017 at 00:03

How did Ablett only score 99..if it was bont he would have scored 160+

    DavidSA · 16/04/2017 at 04:40

Lynch and Matera ate up a substantial amount of the sc pie
If they both scored flat 140's Ablett would have scored 110 atleast

    Stevo · 16/04/2017 at 09:04

You know the Gaz era is officially over when even the Champion Data boys jump off him.

FloggyMcFlog · 16/04/2017 at 00:05

Thanks to everyone who talked us out of getting Murphy, sometimes it's better to just pick your own team. Fair to say that I'm super mad atm, Lol.

    DavidSA · 16/04/2017 at 04:35

yeah he scored well again but you missed 3 better scores before it so u have lost nothing tbh
Plz don't chase pts that are no longer relevant. Never know what sc gods could dish up injury, report, back to back sub 80's ect

    Derek · 16/04/2017 at 10:23

You will thank us in another week or two

    Kev · 16/04/2017 at 12:09

"sometimes it's better to just pick your own team" Wow! what a concept. I got absolutely rinsed for trading MCrouch for Oliver as a corrective trade before the price changes. Oliver 102, 112. Crouch 88, 78. Asking for advice is part of research into a player because you may get a piece of info you haven't considered. In the end, always back your gut feel.

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:39

Haha of course you should pick your team you flog.

NutSack · 16/04/2017 at 05:18

so i guess the 2 paper cups JOM and DSwallow are out for a month? LOL

    Cogla13 · 16/04/2017 at 10:44

I expect JOM to miss another week. GC think Swallow will get up for next week.

Tommo09 · 16/04/2017 at 06:45

Going with Selwood C this week

The BONT · 16/04/2017 at 08:10

Winding for my best round yet having Lynch, Murphy , Docerty, Dalhouse, McRea, Kennedy, Fyfe and Laird all TONNING up this week so far

    neil Demons Delight · 16/04/2017 at 08:21

Hope you don't have any bad luck today BONT I too am headed that way but its been the rookies with me McGrath Otten both good Cheers

neil Demons Delight · 16/04/2017 at 08:24

How are you going so far Pies

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 08:30

Horrible round Neil. Having to play SPP at M7 says it all. Hope to crack 2k. Hope

INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 08:26

I'd role the dice on parfitt

Thebandit7 · 16/04/2017 at 08:43

What the F do I do with Shaw and Simpson??

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 08:58

Think you have to just ride it out. I have the same problem with Simmo. New role & clearly not a scoring beast. Anyway get to full premo first & then deal with it

      Alan P · 16/04/2017 at 09:18

I don't know mate. There are only so many bed sh1ts you can take before you are forced to change the sheets!

      Beast · 16/04/2017 at 09:34

What to do, what to do with Simmo? Trade to Rance?

    Sumo Suma · 16/04/2017 at 09:01

You have to hold and just suck it up. They have both suffered their two largest price plummets of the season so you don't want to be jumping off now just as about heaps of non owners are about to jump on.

      Steeeve · 16/04/2017 at 09:25

I know I'm jumping on Simmo asap

    Danners · 16/04/2017 at 09:19

    You hold them, for now

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 09:47

Great players will usually average well, wait for their good scores.

      Neil · 16/04/2017 at 10:28

But when you get unfavourable role changes there is only so much a star player can do. I can't see either being a top 6 defender this season. Monty, Laird, Adams, Doc, Lloyd, JJ, Rance and maybe even Harbrow and Howe will all finish with higher averages than either Shaw or Simpson this season.

        whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:38

The role change of Simmo is worrying, but I'd trade at his bye to give him a chance. Cop the cash loss on the chin. Shaw you should keep for shaw.

Kev · 16/04/2017 at 08:45

Take it. Could have had Fox's 59 myself but SPP dished up that

Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 08:58

34 Possesions, 1 Goal. Less than 100 Supercoach scores

Fair enough

    Smithy · 16/04/2017 at 09:12

What?? Has Treloar been robbed again?! πŸ™‚

      Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 09:32

Don't give a crap about TRELOAR. WHAT ABOUT ABLETT

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 09:49

    Uncontested possies. Clangers.

Also depending on how far and whether those kicks were to a contest, they can score zero at champion data, whilst being called an effective possession on Fantasy.

    Terry · 16/04/2017 at 09:55

Gazza is not a contested beast anymore … those days are over. More an outside player, mindful of a dodgy shoulder, racking up cheap stats which Champion Data don't respect. So expect plenty of scores in the 80s, 90s and low 100s like other outside players. Just no longer a top 10 mid and many of his owners will probably dump him for a proper ultra premo at some point unless he gets injured again and it will be another forced trade anyway.

    uDonkey · 16/04/2017 at 10:07

Next Season he'll be a Top 6 forward with a nice DPP along side his name Ablett (FWD/MID).

    Welcone!

      Jay · 16/04/2017 at 10:17

Whilst you're looking in that crystal ball, can you see what colours he'll be wearing?

        uDonkey · 16/04/2017 at 10:33

Good question. Tried really hard looking into the crystal ball, the light shining on his bald head is too bright. Can't make out of what colour he's weaing.

          whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 14:05

          Like it haha

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 10:28

Plenty of cheap handballs Youngy. I think he's still regaining match fitness & confidence. Also lynch & matera pigged out. As long as he's not injured I'm holding. I'm sure he is capable of some big ones soon. If he's your biggest problem your travelling well

      Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 10:40

Haha definitely not my biggest problem. Not even in the top 10 of my problems

        INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 11:54

It's going to be another one of those weeks where I wish I had 6 trades available

          Youngy · 17/04/2017 at 09:08

          Yep I agree

Davey · 16/04/2017 at 09:01

IF I HAVE 2 EMERGENCIES FOR AND ONE DOESNT PLAY DO I GET HIS SCORE?

    Danners · 16/04/2017 at 09:20

You get the lowest score of the emergencies

    Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 09:33

So ye you get a 0. Stiff

    Wedge · 16/04/2017 at 09:44

You won't get the zero if that player doesn't start the game

      whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 09:48

      Correct afaik.

      DAVEY · 16/04/2017 at 13:48

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 14:12

Sometimes when you think a player will have a big one against a low side, they actually don't because they can use it as almost a rest game. Probably won't play that much in the middle unless required.

The Easter monday clash is always a big one I'd expect Danger to go pretty well.

      Lenny · 16/04/2017 at 18:38

And if he is resting forward, he'll kick 10 goals, because they'll be winning the mid battle. Can't lose! *shakes head looking a brown and gold heart"

Happy Larry · 16/04/2017 at 10:16

Man am I hoping the Butler craps his jocks today. So many coaches playing him on field expecting another 80 odd in their projections. I'm going Parfitt against those witches hat Hawks instead.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 10:35

Don't think he can hold the 80 Av, but he's a good player. Against the Lions don't bet against it. I'm playing Butler Parfitt & just about anything with a heartbeat this week. Decimated

    uDonkey · 16/04/2017 at 10:49

A bit harsh on the word "Expecting" for people who owns Butler.

Many have Butler on field because their E didn't score well like myself. I had Hannan on bench as a E only scored 53, prefer minimum of 60 from a rookie.

Eddy out leaving me with Butler to put on field hoping he'll score between 60-80.

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:36

People that hope negative things happen to others usually end up in a bad way, just sayin'.

Luke444 · 16/04/2017 at 10:45

Jake Spencer scored 100. At 236k. Should have been everyone's Gawn replacement.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 11:21

Wouldn't go expecting a ton every week

      Noirlust · 17/04/2017 at 19:35

Is be expecting more. 100 against sandi. Pretty solid in my books. Melbs will cop it this week for 2 losses they should have won. Might push them into abother gear.
Spencer vs the next 6 rounds looks pretty good imo.
You need cash gen then he should be considered. He could make a easy 200k over 6 weeks maybe a touch more.
I believe i read last year a trade was worth around 150k

    Kev · 16/04/2017 at 11:58

Witts perfect example of why you don't get sucked into the cheaper option. Yeah your 6 figure bank balance looks great but your team will be full of spuds

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 12:10

Nearly went the Witts option Kev (for Gawn), swung Nank up and slotted Rooey in, hope his knees hold out…

      whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:35

      81, 100, 114, and 79 not too shabby.

      Nick · 16/04/2017 at 13:14

      Dj2 · 16/04/2017 at 13:24

Full of spuds like goldy (50 last week) and Max Gone?

      Bells E Bubb · 17/04/2017 at 10:27

Not many “rΓ²okies” running round better than Witts atm.

    Pied Piper · 16/04/2017 at 12:37

If he tons up next week he could be a tasty downgrade from Sandi or Witts is they stall in their cash generating.

      whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:44

Sandi and Witts will be fine until the byes I reckon, Sandi could do with more to advantage.

I do like how Spencer went about it though, he had some nice taps to advantage out of his measly 15 hitouts (vs Sandi 53!)

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:42

I agree he should've replaced Gawn, IF you were getting Preuss and expecting him to play R2.

Boltons Blues · 16/04/2017 at 10:55

You have 1 more week SPP, otherwise, get out of my team you massive stain in my jocks.
Zac Fisher, what a gun.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 11:23

Super impressed with Fisher. If he backs that up next week he will be hard to knock back

    Kev · 16/04/2017 at 12:01

He's fine. Not much else happening for rookies in the guts. Had a -23 b.e this week

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:25

He only had 12 touches vs GCS.

Remember Powell-Pepper? That guy that had 19 touches round one vs Sydney and kicked 2 goals?

    πŸ˜‰

uDonkey · 16/04/2017 at 11:10

Really don't understand many coaches expecting too much from a Rookie. You picked Rookies for cash generation not too score big every bloody round. SMH

    Northernsoul74 · 16/04/2017 at 11:45

Agree, my team is struggling but it's not my rookies fault. My picks of Cripps and Tom McDonald have let me down.

    Andrew · 16/04/2017 at 12:07

Yeah not sure why everyone was expecting these rookies to save us. We all knew they were one of the worst rookie groups we've ever seen, so coaches who had structures that played heaps of them on ground were always going to get duly punished in the rankings.

Pman · 16/04/2017 at 11:20

Who should I bench out of Butler and Parfitt? I currently have Butler on the ground but Parfitt scored well last week and Hawthorn are shot ducks so could go large again against the consistency of Butler?

    uDonkey · 16/04/2017 at 11:46

Your guess is as good as mine. In saying that i have both on field, had SPP on the bench just had feeling was gonna struggle to get his hands on the ball against GWS. With Pittard and S Gray being in the team.

Hannan was on the bench too scored 53, hoping Butler can better that score to at least 60.

Saundo · 16/04/2017 at 11:59

Danger, Selwood or Dusty as Captain?

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 12:40

    Roll a dice. Danger 1-2, Selwood 3-4. Dusty 5-6.

    And don't reroll when you don't get a 1-2 πŸ˜‰

    Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 12:55

Danger is safe because everyone else is going him. You won't be missing out on much if he spuds it – because the rest of the comp have him as skip also

The benchmark · 16/04/2017 at 13:00

Hey guys what's everyone's projected at this stage?
I know it's just a projected but curious to see what jocks community par will be around
Carn Tigers

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 14:01

Mine is low-ish at 2200 this week, some low scores/poor choices in Hampton(56) and SPS(49) aren't helping.

    Randomcliche2 · 16/04/2017 at 23:54

Having a quick look at my league…..I suspect 2200+ birdie, 2100+ par. Assuming Danger 130ish.

    Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 07:11

2150 & i'll be pretty happy to get there if it happens.

    Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 08:43

    2163 but hoping I can get 2250

Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 13:18

Looking to watch Rich vs Bris. It is not on free to air. Don't have foxtel. Are there any free streaming sites out there?

    Dan · 16/04/2017 at 13:34

    R u with Telstra?

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 13:35

If you are on Telstra (pre paid is fine), download afl live app, can watch games free on phone or tablet Youngy.

      Dan · 16/04/2017 at 13:37

If u have a smart TV can watch it on the tv

        hedski · 16/04/2017 at 13:40

I only have a dumb tv

      Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 14:10

      Im not with Telstra…

        hedski · 16/04/2017 at 14:18

You can still get app free but may have to pay to stream, maybe $15/month?

        INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 15:04

Afl live app. Used to be $5 a week until it became free to Telstra users. It used to be causal week by week. Not sure now

          hedski · 16/04/2017 at 15:18

I get it free, pre paid Telstra phone.

            INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 15:56

            On pre paid Hedski. Nice

              hedski · 16/04/2017 at 16:22

My computer went the way of your mate off the link you put up the other day.

    Mich · 16/04/2017 at 14:29

Sign up with crown bet and you get free afl streaming on your phone. You don't have to put money in as far as i know

      BradK · 16/04/2017 at 14:48

Get afl app (free with telstra) and a chrome cast. Theres a way of casting anything that comes on your devices screen to your tv. Screw foxtell prices

        musicissport · 16/04/2017 at 15:11

Hey BradK is there a trick to doing this as I can't seem to chromecast anything from AFL app, even though I can from others such as YouTube & Netflix

        Mich · 16/04/2017 at 19:32

With those telstra prices i may as well fork out for foxtel too

Rick Grimes · 16/04/2017 at 13:25

Is Swallow stuffed? I rolled the dice, probably cost me a few h2hs. Oh well…

    whatyasmokin · 16/04/2017 at 14:08

Have to hold now see how he goes next week, if he makes it on to the field.

      Rick Grimes · 16/04/2017 at 15:04

Yea I'm happy to hold. Reckon he's still good for a decent average, if fit. Just worried about those munted legs of his. He's not been listed as injured so probably be a 50/50 proposition this week. Just as well I have SPP on the bench….oh.

Alt user · 16/04/2017 at 14:32

Don't you just hate all the miserable twats who come in here on the weekends posting their pathetic "I told you so" rants. As if anyone gives a flying fark what they have to say posted using some cowardly Alt username. I bet many of them are site regulars too spineless to post using their regular names.

    Dave · 16/04/2017 at 14:39

Yep I hear ya buddy. All the d1ckheads who say you were a flog to make this or that trade or start this or that guy. It's so easy to play Captain Hindsight in this game. Some people really have no lives so they try to bring everyone else down to their level.

    Donald Trump · 16/04/2017 at 14:51

I always use my real name.
It doesnt matter if people dont give a flying f what i think, because i am president, and I have bombs.

      INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 14:58

You got those crazy Notth Korean Mofo's under control Donald?

      Hillary · 16/04/2017 at 15:10

There really is no shortage of a-holes on this site!

    Rick Grimes · 16/04/2017 at 15:06

Yea it's easy to call someone a flog after the fact. If everyone always followed the safe as houses strategy it'd be a pretty shite game. Nothing sweeter than making an out of the box pick that pays off.

    Nick · 16/04/2017 at 22:45

Jock old son, you have to come up with a system that eliminates dreadful, weak, spineless trolling because it is turning people off SC.

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 23:17

I agree. At least if im a prick I use the same name haha

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 23:51

Get a word press or intense debate account and use your own name don't be weak.

    NutSack · 17/04/2017 at 03:45

LOL says a flog coming on here telling us so with an alternate name. You described yourself pretty well in your rant you silly twat LOL

hedski · 16/04/2017 at 14:32

Would I be cray cray to stick the C on Rooey instead of Danger?

    BradK · 16/04/2017 at 14:52

    Yeah thats a little cray

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 15:03

I'm tempted, probs a bit to cray tho.

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 15:06

Go for it mate!, I would if I had Rooey πŸ™‚

    Rick Grimes · 16/04/2017 at 15:07

Not crazy. There's every chance he could go huge Danger due for a below par.

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 15:22

Bugger missed start of game, might go Jelwood.

Steeeve · 16/04/2017 at 14:33

Harley Bennell booted off a flight for being too drunk. Wow.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 14:52

Just read that. Freo saying it's due to the disappointment of not playing footy. Please!

      INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 14:54

Next time I get booted of a flight for being shitfaced I'll blame not being drafted in 1996!!!

        Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 15:13

        LOL

      Steeeve · 16/04/2017 at 15:56

Disappointment of being Harley Bennell most likely

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 15:11

Yeah hardly newsworthy Herald Sun, a guy who can't get healthy in 2 years and then had a drunken plane incident, he's not doing himself any favours for if he can ever play again, great pickup for Freo lol.
I think once you're kicked off a plane, you're banned for life after that.haha

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 17/04/2017 at 10:36

      From flying or football? πŸ™‚

Glad they didn't ban boonie back in the day else he wouldn't hold the record for most cans drunk between Aus and England.

    FCAbel · 16/04/2017 at 23:20

If they hadn't stopped his coke habit he would have been OK. So unfair.

    Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 00:04

To think I had him on a watch list……line through that name….

Don't Blush Baby · 16/04/2017 at 15:14

Looking forward to see how B.Long DPP @ 117k goes today for the Saints

tophawk · 16/04/2017 at 15:31

WHE has injured his wrist! Down the race

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 15:32

    Another bullet dodged.

      tophawk · 16/04/2017 at 15:33

Hear hear! Bloody glad I didnt get him in the end.

        whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 15:57

        Glad I started with him.

      whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 15:59

      He's back on field…..

    Whanie · 16/04/2017 at 22:41

People are so horrible. They take SC too seriously and that is why it is on the wane. When I first started playing SC over 400K were involved now about 200k.
It is only a game but the trolling is taking a great deal of pleasure out of SC.
I am in the 2000's (again) but I won't be playing next year.

      whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 23:15

I dont think the comment you have replied to is what is turning people off SC. The main thing i think is the scoring system and how half of it is hidden. People like things that are simple to understand haha.

Michael · 16/04/2017 at 15:34

Play Parfitt or take Taranto's 60?

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 15:55

    It's 50-50, he could get 99 again or 19.

INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 16:00

To many saints with bloody man buns. Can't tell which one is Steele. Ban the Bun!!!!

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 16:02

    Its a disgrace

      Browncow · 16/04/2017 at 18:58

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 16:07

hedski · 16/04/2017 at 16:26

Go Jezza Howe you legend

Joshua · 16/04/2017 at 16:33

My opponent has danger captain. I'm losing so should I go dusty captain?

    Lazza · 16/04/2017 at 16:36

If you are on a hiding to nothing … Definitely go Dusty.

      Joshua · 16/04/2017 at 16:38

Losing by 90 with 3 unique players each to go

Jack · 16/04/2017 at 16:38

Pendles being in less than 17% of teams is a gift from the SC Gods

    Good One! · 16/04/2017 at 18:05

Sorry mate he sucked ass. Didn't even ton up so will be sub $600K soon. πŸ™‚

      INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 18:20

He was injured moments into second half & sat on the pine almost the whole 3rd term. When he came back on in the last he grabbed at his right hammy straight away. Not good

        Juzzy · 16/04/2017 at 18:59

        Geez INP.
Was at the game. Knew he went missing but was distracted barracking for Mav Weller.
Come to think of it when he got back in the last quarter (and almost got the Pies back in the game) he didn't kick at all. Just 7 or 8 classy handballs which are worth 25 Treloar kicks.

        Hope he is OK.
        A. Because I have him and …
        B. Because as much as I dislike the Pies he is a player that I love to watch play.

        Andrew · 16/04/2017 at 20:30

Bucks denied there was anything wrong with Pendles in the post game and he wouldn't lie would he?! πŸ™‚ So you are probably just jumping at shadows Pieman.

      Jack · 16/04/2017 at 20:14

      Meh, could be worse….Treloar

        Good One! · 16/04/2017 at 20:32

That's what happens when you go too early with the smart @rse comments. Fantasy gods like to punish that sort of arrogance. At least wait until the game finishes next time before opening your pie hole pal bwahaha.

          Jack · 16/04/2017 at 22:37

oh well….those 391 points from the opening 3 rounds will soften the blow

Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 17:16

Pretty slow start from Dusty (12), only 1 point ahead of menapoop at quarter time. Pendles stalled a bit in that quarter too.

leedy · 16/04/2017 at 17:38

Adam Treloar – you are dead to me.

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 17:48

Lots of average scores in that game…go the mighty Top Knot Saints!

    Saundo · 16/04/2017 at 17:59

I traded him for Dusty who is not doing much better, personally I would get Merrett for him if you can, he is a gun !

      leedy · 16/04/2017 at 23:50

I feel your pain Saundo – looks like the tagger is making a comeback which when effective spells ouch to some of today's premo's.

    Jason · 16/04/2017 at 21:43

I'm soooooooo over that assclown. Massively over rated and is a turnover machine. Pies are going nowhere fast he is one of their supposed core stars. Can't wait to jettison that flog for brains tomorrow night and bring in a bonafide ultra premo who can actually properly dispose of the footy to save his life, like the Bont for example.

      whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 22:38

Well he had a massive year last year and still racks them up. Hes not in the best form but Im gonna hold for now.

        Rocksta · 16/04/2017 at 22:56

I'm holding as well, but I must say his decision making and disposal is very bad this season.
Will consider trading him only after my team has reached full premium, which will be very late in the season. And even then, if he's averaging 105 plus, I'll hold.

          whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 23:05

Yep exactly. Willing to lose 100k in the meantime.

      leedy · 16/04/2017 at 23:52

Got the Bont but I am going to take a punt on Mundy. I think that the coach we all love to hate has found the perfect role for him. Looks very comfortable at full forward then swings into midfield when the going gets tough.

    Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 07:12

I'm going to keep the faith in him and Hanners as much as it hurts try upgrade quickly around them,

I don't why Treloar is kicking on left by choice though he butchers it everytime.

      leedy · 17/04/2017 at 09:11

I hope your discipline pays off … but then again maybe not. Good name you've got there by the way πŸ™‚

Saundo · 16/04/2017 at 17:54

Is Dusty injured?

    Col · 16/04/2017 at 17:57

    Mitch Robinson is tagging him!!

Joshua · 16/04/2017 at 17:58

Love me some dusty captain after trading him in this week. KMS

    Cr0magn0n · 17/04/2017 at 04:27

Mate, you'd hardly be on your Pat Malone there!

    Noirlust · 16/04/2017 at 21:02

    except Selwood

DavidSA · 16/04/2017 at 18:24

Why are Sunday games generally the worst sc scoring >.<

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 18:58

My mate Rockliff is having a decent one

    Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 00:11

Howe Rocky my earlier games were, glad for Sunday!

MethHead · 16/04/2017 at 18:41

Dusty, Rance and Berry all sh1tting the bed big time and I love it! That's one less over hyped rookie we need to worry burning a trade on.

Col · 16/04/2017 at 18:42

Treloar has sucked us all in a beauty so far
Has been so disappointing!!

Will probably come good against the bombers next week but he sure is hard to watch. Will be a blessing in disguise if he gets injured so we can trade hi

    Touk tuk · 16/04/2017 at 20:09

No one should wish any player to get injured.

      Tommy · 16/04/2017 at 22:34

Agree Touk. Col is a pr**k.
I don't have him and I barrack for GWS.

Juzzy · 16/04/2017 at 19:14

Rocky, 150 in 3 quarters.

Injured. Dislocated fingers.

Anyone else getting Deja Vu ?

    What's the deja vu?

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 20:31

Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 19:14

Dusty just cacked a tonne, if he was your captain πŸ™‚

Andy · 16/04/2017 at 19:23

    Luke444 · 17/04/2017 at 14:17

Language please. Go on, trade Dusty out then after this week you flog! Seeings though you don't want any Richmond players.

Juzzy · 16/04/2017 at 19:27

P.S.

I love you Rocky. You will win me a few leagues this week.
Stay fit and healthy please.

He does read this forum , doesn't he ??

    Iamme · 16/04/2017 at 20:08

I also had Rocky as VC….so I'm more than happy with his 176, don't see even the great Patty D topping it.

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 20:48

      Hmm. Pat DOES read this.

Holty · 16/04/2017 at 19:31

Lol fanfooty feels Rance was the star of the game. 55sc points arghhhhhh.

    Cr0magn0n · 17/04/2017 at 04:29

Wonder if Jock still has Rance?

      whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 11:31

Yeah he has Rance, Crouch and SPP stinking it up for him.

Has some great picks too that are having a good week like Dahlhaus(145), Lynch(161),Howe(130), Doch (108), Laird(112), Grundy(113), Fyfe(107). He is projected the 2200 mark.

KiwiSaint · 16/04/2017 at 19:38

Equal 4th on coachkings. Best by a long way for me. Saints win and I make $50 thanks dusty for sucking

Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 20:12

YELLOW AND BLACK.

Also Rockliff u ripper

Cam · 16/04/2017 at 20:13

Is this a tough scoring round for everyone or is it Just me was ranked 33 overall that's going to slide a bit I think

    Hank · 16/04/2017 at 20:15

What's your projection bud? Certainly plenty of heroes and villains this weekend with one more game to go.

    INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 20:25

Think it's a tough week. If you dodged everything then happy days

Cam · 16/04/2017 at 20:17

Projection is 2176 with danger as captain and to Mitchell to come

    Cam · 16/04/2017 at 20:18

    Tom mitchell

      KiwiSaint · 16/04/2017 at 20:24

Lynch, Howe and rocky helped me but so many spuds to go with them. Prob same kinda score I'll get

    Hank · 16/04/2017 at 20:27

Yeah you will probably slide some spots. Seen plenty of sides in the 2200s and even 2300s in my leagues.

    Tommo09 · 16/04/2017 at 21:09

I'm projected 2163 but hopefully that will increase as Selwood is projected to hit 104 and I have him as C
Hoping for a big one from him

finnigin · 16/04/2017 at 20:28

bout the same for me and im 1100

INPieman · 16/04/2017 at 20:29

10.5k traded dusty in. Some would have given him the captain armband. It's a bloody brutal game

    Off The Bench · 16/04/2017 at 20:42

Excellent trade in target in 2 weeks for those who didn't….

    Noirlust · 16/04/2017 at 21:03

Traded in Rocky this week, Thank you Mr Gawn and your dodgey Hammy,
Had the VC on him too till i figured my loophole wouldnt work.

    Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 21:05

Definitely a player I will be steering clear of. He is too inconsistent.

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:32

Will probably lock him in after byes, Sloane is in front slightly though for me atm.

    Moustachio · 16/04/2017 at 23:05

The SC gods are wrathful at those who defy commandment #3… Thou shalt not pay overs for thy premos.

    leedy · 16/04/2017 at 23:56

The resurgence of the 'tagger' perhaps Pieman. Blakely did it to the Bont in the first half last week (kept to 4 or 5 possessions) and again to Jones this week. Robinson got the job done on Dusty today. I think some of the fast starting premo's might expect the same which worries me about Murphy but will see.

Iamme · 16/04/2017 at 20:30

18/ 1866 with Parfitt, TMitch, Roughy and Danger to come and will gladly take Rockys 176 by loop holing him with JOM…should mean a score 2,200 plus which would be more than my projected 2,158

    Holty · 16/04/2017 at 22:37

Have u used ur captain yet?

      Iamme · 16/04/2017 at 23:22

Yes I'm taking 352 for Rocky, and putting the captaincy on JOM

Tweezer · 16/04/2017 at 20:45

Puss filled round

DefyingMadness · 16/04/2017 at 20:49

only 5 tonnes this round…

    Tommo09 · 16/04/2017 at 20:53

    I have only had 6

      Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 21:07

      6 for me shocking week

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:01

13 players 90+ its not that bad of a round for many.

    gator59 · 16/04/2017 at 21:10

    only 6 here too

    TBone · 16/04/2017 at 21:23

only 6 tons, gonna be lucky to get 2000 this week

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 21:33

9 with Danger and Roughy to come, prediction says 2200…I'll believe that when I see it!

    Top Gun · 16/04/2017 at 23:19

Only four tons but hoping to get close to 2300 if Danger boy has a good game.

      Top Gun · 16/04/2017 at 23:37

Make that 9 tons …oops lol

    Iamme · 16/04/2017 at 23:25

    6 but also 5 90s

    DefyingMadness · 17/04/2017 at 04:04

I have like 6 players who went under 50, probably my worst week ever in supercoach in 5 years…
    Gonna struggle to hit 2000

    Lazza · 17/04/2017 at 07:39

7 tons and 6 with 90+ … Danger (C) and TMitch to go. Looking at 2200+.

Have the week's spuds in Dusty, Treloar and Swallow too.

Tommo09 · 16/04/2017 at 20:52

Projected to get 2163 and that's with Seleoods projected 208 as C

Have had a shocking start to the year
Last year I ranked 3000 which was my PB
This year I am ranked 70000 so far which is absolutely shocking

Will I drop lower this week?

    Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:06

I don't think so. The top 5% average this week will be 2180 or something

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 22:17

You'll bounce back mate, it's the run home that matters, but I just play for Leagues.

hedski · 16/04/2017 at 20:53

Looks like Stef coming in for Preuss + Houston in a few weeks, swing Nank back forward. Glug. Go cats.

    SideshowBob · 16/04/2017 at 21:12

    Thinking same thing

      hedski · 16/04/2017 at 21:56

Lucky I kept that $120k in the kicker.

    Kyle · 17/04/2017 at 00:31

Im thinking WHE to martin in the next few weeks and sandi to grundy in the next few weeks and swing nank back forward if all goes to plan

SF4 · 16/04/2017 at 20:55

Shocker of a week this week, swallow, SPP, TRELOAR, Hampton letting me down already. Now it's tuohy's turn to let me down. Pushing hard for 2100.

    SF4 · 16/04/2017 at 20:56

Add Buddy in there aswell. Oh jeez, need a huge one from Danger C.

      Moustachio · 16/04/2017 at 23:04

Not sure why you think that will help you…

SideshowBob · 16/04/2017 at 20:56

Is Higgins to Yeo a bad move

    Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:05

Yeah too sideways for my liking. If you are picking Yeo you are picking him as a keeper for the year. We can't be sideways trading midpricers at this point in time.

    Youngy · 16/04/2017 at 21:09

    Yes

      SideshowBob · 16/04/2017 at 21:11

      How about Steele to yeo

        whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:36

You're chasing Steele got another 90 he will make cash and is scoring fine for a forward could even be a keeper.

    Iamme · 16/04/2017 at 21:12

High risk for high reward, his forms been good…..so why not?

      Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:16

Because its pointless and isn't gonna work out in the long run for point production or cash generation

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 21:57

    Burnman to burnman.
    Should work out well.

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 22:05

If I had Higgins, which I don't, I'd consider it if Yeo maintained 100 average for another 4 weeks, and then keep him in the fwd line.
If he really has improved because of the positional change from Back to Mid/Fwd, then it's feasible that he could maintain it.

      Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 00:21

Is it a positional change? Thought he played a fair wack of Mid/Fwd last year…perhaps SMitch (banged up ankle) has been helping?

    Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 07:10

You've missed Yeo's start really need to get him before his price went up or at least this week I think to have really gained any advantage, Higgins still looks good for 95ave this season to me.

    Luke444 · 17/04/2017 at 14:24

I've got both in my team. I'd say Hold him for one more week. Yeo is the top scoring forward after his 141 this week

Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:12

On track for 2200. I reckon that's a decent score for this round. Treloar and Swallow screwed me over. What is everyone else tracking for?

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:21

Same. 2200 projection with Danger captain, GHS+Parfitt projected 60 odd each. Bought down by treloar, hampton and SPS. Hopefully win all matches though.

      Valens_FC · 16/04/2017 at 22:48

GHS is out mate. Withdrawn on Saturday.

        whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 23:03

Ah so he is, cheers. Will get fox's 59 so still on similar track although was hoping for 70-80 out of george.

    Holty · 16/04/2017 at 21:47

If i hit 2150 ill be very happy. Only have 3 players this round who have made the ton

      Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 00:08

3 is not many…. you have done pretty well considering

    Kyle · 17/04/2017 at 00:29

Im looking at 2300+ this week have dahl lynch and rocky and a few other nice scores which helped cover the spuds SPP hampton and a few others

      Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 01:01

That is a serious effort mate. Congrats.

    Bells E Bubb · 17/04/2017 at 08:10

Potatoes as far as the eye can see….

Tommy · 16/04/2017 at 21:16

Is rocky a good premo option or should I be looking more towards Sloane and Merrett (already have Bont dusty and danger). I like the look of rocky but people are saying he is inconsistent.
Please give me your thoughts

    Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:20

Who are you getting rid of? I would go Merrett as consistent and POD

      whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:56

Yep pretty impressive to post a decent score in that match vs crows.

    whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:30

Nope dont jump on rocky please haha

      MethHead · 16/04/2017 at 21:36

Reckon Treloar to Rocky will be a popular trade this week.

        whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 21:46

Yep and treloar will get a 150 and rocky an 80

          Browncow · 16/04/2017 at 23:16

With Rocky it is purely about injury risk. His scores can vary but if he stays fit is a top 5 mid. Saying that I am pretty keen to add Merrett to my line up. Seems to get better every week – is a machine.

            whatyousmokin · 16/04/2017 at 23:24

Yep cant believe i locked rocky in after using 3 trades on him in a season. We'll see how that one pans out. Merrett is pretty amazing for his age looks to be a top player for a long time, think most thought he would drop off with the return of the banned bombers. I think many will jump on after the bombers bye.

              Browncow · 17/04/2017 at 03:03

Think you might be right WYS. Have gone with Rocky again after being burnt last year. And was one of those who thought Merrett might not back it up.

            Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 07:07

Just a little worried with Merrett that he needs 30+ touches to get 110+ score.

Finnius123 · 16/04/2017 at 21:18

Skipper Danger or Selwood? Selwood could make a bad round better for me but very risky.

    Ja191 · 16/04/2017 at 21:37

Can't go wrong with the danger man

    hedski · 17/04/2017 at 02:56

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 22:00

I want to use a blunt teaspoon and make them feel it.

Boltons Blues · 16/04/2017 at 21:48

Titch and Roughy vs 204 points
hopefully i can come through

    hedski · 16/04/2017 at 22:00

    Easy

    Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 22:19

    Could be tight…good luck though!

    Derek · 17/04/2017 at 00:33

    Mich · 17/04/2017 at 00:57

Titch vs 86 points for me. My eyes will be glued to the screen tomorrow

Russ in W.A · 16/04/2017 at 22:14

Higgins to lose money, Martin up about 30k and Murphy up about 50k

Rich and Brodie Smith both looked good this weekend Pieman, huh? Thinking I might get them

    Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 01:36

Rich straight swap for treloar for mine

      hedski · 17/04/2017 at 02:57

      Double bang

        Browncow · 17/04/2017 at 03:12

Yeo looked good too. Weekend of the burnman. Yeo is a trap, isn't he?

          hedski · 17/04/2017 at 18:10

          Maybe not, on the radar.

    Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 01:36

    Smith for docherty

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 07:27

I've never been tangled up in What I call BSS Brodie Smith Sydnrone. Meaning a knock to head & you forget how to play & become useless. Daniel Rich don't get me started

      Derek · 17/04/2017 at 12:52

I didn't see the game, but Rich scored 88dt points in a side that were beaten, and he scored 137SC.

I know he can't tackle because his arms are too short, he must have done something good?

        hedski · 17/04/2017 at 13:24

Is it possible for Rich to give a "don't argue" with those stumpy arms I wonder?

DangeronCrutches · 17/04/2017 at 01:11

360 degree stains everywhere and projected score of around 2000. What else could go wrong with 1 game to go?

Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 01:39

Selwood and 152 for me to win my match up against Mark Robinson – tough ask

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 05:58

Robbo's got a fairly decent team this year..think he's gonna kick my butt in one of the Leagues.
Predictions don't mean much in weeks like this.

neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 07:56

I was going to bring in lynch as a pod keeper but opted out for a week I .realise he has R 9 bye but he is by far the best sc forward Don't think it is too late with rookie fwds spudding each week

BradK · 17/04/2017 at 08:08

1871 with danger (C), Tmitch, and Parfitt to go.

Am I looking at a decent score?

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 08:14

    For sure

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 15:43

Nice one BONT!, I think you'll be ahead of most this week, you must've avoided a lot of the usual spud suspects.
Fingers crossed, I might make 2200 this week.

Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 08:47

1480 with Mitchell, Rough, Selwood (C), Parfitt, Danger, Tuohy to come
What am I looking at?

    tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 09:20

You are in line for a solid to excellent score mate. The low end being 2200 and the top at around 2300+. Hope Jellwood goes well for you today. Always gutsy going against the dangermouse. Cheers

      Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 09:38

      Thanks tophawk
Projection says 2163 but hoping for more than that

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 11:20

I'd say low end around 2100 honestly. But could go big.

    Mitchell 80-120, Rough 60-130

    Selwood C 160-300

    Parfitt 30-80

    Danger 90-200 lol

    Tuohy 60-130

      Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 13:41

      Thanks
At the moment, thinking Mitch 100, Rough 80, Selwood 210, Parfitt 40, Danger 120, Tuohy, 80

That's just an estimate but gives me only 2110
      Hoping for more than that

Mike · 17/04/2017 at 09:31

Pretty happy 13 players with 90 + have to get the bont in my team this week barring no injuries

Bucks · 17/04/2017 at 09:37

Thumbs up if you've had a gutful of Treloar turnovers and plan to rage trade him this week. The bastard is about to cost me my coaching gig so has to go this week.

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 10:11

Bucks your biggest problem is Treloar & mates have no bloody targets in the forward line to kick it to. You need a big Cox injection! Who doesn't want to see him bouncing his way into goal in Anzac Day. Ps: your shit

      Hubba · 17/04/2017 at 11:32

I dont think Bucks is sh!t, it's his game plan that's sh!t…. and he has no mates. Go Pies. My only question is will eddie also drop out of the presidency when bucks goes.. perhaps they can get him back on the footy show now that he will have all that spare time….

        whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 11:34

You really want to listen to Eddy on the footy show? Fair enough.

          Touk tuk · 17/04/2017 at 15:21

Pies went from 100+ tackles against sydney to just 55 against saints. Not a coach problem just consistency.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 15:47

I'd probably like to…but I won't trade him, not yet, he's still a young fit, strong gun, and I think just needs to work on his polish a bit more.
It could definitely be a regrettable trade if you pull on the trigger on him this early in the season.
Plus I've got bigger fish to fry this week, O'Meara and a couple of non playing rookies.

tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 09:58

Hi community,

Again, I avoided some real turd carnage this week. (Peppa Pig on the bench, loopholed Taranto's 60, and Marchbank on field)

I dodged SC relevant players such as Dustin Martin, Alex Rance, "Scatty" aka Josh Caddy, (God help those coaches that STILL have him), Leigh Montagna, Matt Crouch, Dyson Heppell, Jobe Watson, Kade Simpson, Mathew Kruezer, Patrick Cripps, Michael Barlow (27SC WTF?), Toby Green, Heath Shaw, Callan Ward, Robbie Gray, Chad Wingard, Nathan Jones, Shaun Higgins (Burnman!), Andrew Gaff, Sam mitchell, and Callum Mills.

I did not go unscathed (unscatted) however, Adam Treloar (start using the pill properly FFS!), David Swallow, Curtly Hampton, and Buddy Franklin. (Playing like a sook now that Sydney is losing).

I did have some heroes this week. Stefan Martin (131 SC) is an absolute lone wolf beast. Luke Dahlhaus (145 SC) had a blinder, JJK (110 SC) bounced back, and others that tonned up were Taylor Adams (113 SC), Sam Docherty (108 SC), Nat Fyfe (107 SC), and Rory Laird (112 SC). Other guys which reached the 90's were Andy Otten, Sandi, Jack Steele, Dayne Beams, and the Nank. These blokes were serviceable.

Barring a Dangerfield (C) or Tom Mitchell disaster today, I should get to around 2200 this week. It means scores of 2200+ for all 4 rounds played so far this year. Steady she goes.

With 27 trades, looking at Balic this week and perhaps my first premo upgrade this week.

Cheers

    TBone · 17/04/2017 at 10:10

nice mate! who you think youll upgrade to premo week?

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 10:28

Nice work Tophawk. Certainly no shortage of turds being dropped into coaches teams this week. Thousands jumped on dusty & probably many made him captain & that would be painful. But I do hope your boys get flogged again today & Dallas Willsmoore gets a call up next week. That kid can find the footy

      tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 11:08

Hehehehe. The Hawks might have to do a "Freo" and inject more rookies to the team. You never know, Dallas Willsmore might just get the nod next week. Hope the Hawkers can at least show a bit of grit today after last week's hammering.

      Cheers

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 17/04/2017 at 10:58

    Good stuff hawk.
    Steady as she goes.
Not sure what everyone is expecting from.the rookies?
60-70 is about it I reckon.
Except Otten who has been exceptional and of course is the only bloody one I didn't start.
SPP was expecting a bit more but he was playing GWS and mummy dominated without Ryder.
like most had some good and bad scores take the good with the bad heading for around 2,200 depending on what Dangerwood, Titch and Rough do today.
Those that avoided the carnage and had rocky and lynch as pods will shoot up the rankings the rest of us reassess load up and go again next week.
Dusty will bounce back robbo owned him but not all teams have a robbo.
    Just enjoy the Easter break
get out and enjoy the weather, spend some time with family
Remember it is only a game. A bloody frustrating one at times but just a game

      tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 11:12

Good advice. It is just only a game….Righto!! I am off to the gym to let off some steam, suck in some fresh air, and blow off some frustrations. Then at 1.20 all eyes on Danger and T Mitch……Gotta just love this game! cheers

        Derek · 17/04/2017 at 12:31

I really need the Hawks to show something today. C'mon Cyril I need something special, about 9 league games in the balance.

      neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 14:45

Yes trig Robbo was great Lynch and Fisher are my trades T- T just a slow burner but in 2 weeks fisher will be ok.All the KPPs are going to be up and down and are Mondays rage trades just gotta keep the faith in them.Roo JJK Lynch and Buddy will yo yo all season but at least two are must haves for me Lynch and Roo Into my team asap set forget

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 11:15

      Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 11:38

None, nice work. I got Mr Burnman, but avoided the rest. Just a pitty I got/had my own special fail – David Armitage.

        whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:35

Armitage is an interesting pick with so many mid type players at Saints. he went huge the other year though, maybe it was two years ago.

    Derek · 17/04/2017 at 12:28

Cheers Derek. The hawks need to show something today. We just can't crash and burn like Freo did last year. Today is the day we stop the rot. Tmitch and Cyril to put on a clinic. Thats what's needed

        whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:39

I have no doubt they will lift today. Almost a season defining moment. Still don't think it's going to be enough though.

      whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:36

McGrath looks good though. Otten looking to be the best money maker of the year at the moment.

        INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 13:51

Don't plan on Otten long term. His role & scoring will change. But for the time being he's a gem

Steeeve · 17/04/2017 at 11:33

Hanners, Kade Simpson, Patrick Cripps all in my preseason dream team ie top 10 at their position and players I want when full premo.
All to be ripe for the picking in the next week or two. Pendles due for a price drop too.
Only problem is the cows are nowhere near fattened!
Might have to go early on Marchbank and even WHE… thoughts?

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 12:26

I think you will find WHE & Marchbank have made most of their cash. But given the lack of cash gen it might be best to milk everything you can from them. I've got Hampton on my dispose of list if he gives me another 50 this week. I need to see a form turn on Hanners & Cripps before considering. I already have Simmo & don't recommend him in his new role as pretty much an outside midfielder. Marchbank & plowman have pushed him up the ground

      Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 12:47

      I agree.
Just not enough Rookie talent and consistency around to go the Early Cull.
That said, if you have Taranto, I 'd say he can be cashed in next week. He just doesn't look ready for the intensity of AFL footy yet and I wouldn't be holding my breath for a big score.
I also agree that we need to see a lot more from the likes of Hanners, Cripps, Palker, Simmo and even Heater before bringing them in as Keepers.
I think best to wait 2-3 weeks for the likes of Dusty, and Pendles. At least with them, we know the weekend was a one off aberation and that they are Ultra Premos.

        Double Dragon · 17/04/2017 at 12:57

Yeah TT is the head I'll be lopping off this week for Balic.

          Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 13:00

          Likewise

            INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 13:30

I don't mind that trade at all lads. But keep in mind his 73 was a bit inflated. He kicked a goal to put them in front that scored really well. And then of course Ross factor

              whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:32

Kinda glad I got Fox…….if he stays in the team. Sydney could lop bigtime at any moment.

                Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 13:47

He looked a player the other night. I don't think he'll be going anywhere in a hurry.

              Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 13:35

              Yea, fair call.

Any of the 1st gamers show anything this weekend? I think Rd6 is ideal to start the cull and/or start painting the fence, but obviously need good rookie on the bubble options. There should be a smorgasboard of Fallen Premo taegets come Rd6.

                whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:41

True about the smorgasbord fallen premos but it's a just a cheap ass buffet of rookies.

                Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 13:50

Zac Fisher from Carlton, showed a lot of dash and can find the footy, can tacke aswell.
                123k FWD/MID

                  Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 13:52

                  Cheers.
                  Fwd/Mid ideal as well.
I may pass on Balic and wait on Fisher. Fingers crossed he backs it up in Game2.

                    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:05

Zac Fisher is a MID only

                Moustachio · 17/04/2017 at 14:20

David Myers should be back soon

          Steeeve · 17/04/2017 at 14:05

I wouldn't mind Balic but for whom? Pickett?

      tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 14:36

Joel smith for Newman last week and Hibberd is going to be culled this week via DPP. (Unless selected)

Balic is coming in. Period. He will find his way in the top flight. That bloke has huge wraps on him in the west. 30+ disposals every time he lines up in the WAFL.

If Hibberd does get selected, Pickett or Taranto will be in the firing line.

    Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 13:37

Very happy starting Witts at R3, gives me another form of Cash Gen, although ive got Hibbered, Eddy and Barret, all didnt play this weekend.

      INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:09

Eddy played well in the SANFL & booted 3.3 for the day. Including 2 in the last quarter that won the game by 3 points. Hope he can get back in. Barrett had 30 touches & 2 goals in the NEAFL yesterday. I'd be very hesitant to trade either of them. Hibbered copped a head knock yesterday & was stretchered off

        Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 15:54

good to hear, hopefully they can find their way back into the AFL.
Taranto, Picket and Hibbered are on the cull list, only reason im leaving Hibbered is the allowance to loop hole with Stewart/Newman

    neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 14:17

Agree pies and rock simmo hanners are must haves and will come good cream rises. yep whe and marchb early for mine but forwards need attention too Lynch been on my radar since Kevs write up check it out.i know about round 9 but he is ripe now absolutely next then hanners simmo Forget his r2 40 he had 3 clangers and suns got thumped.Isee him better than Roo Buddy and jjk cheers neil

Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 13:17

So anyone who watched the big felines go at it have thoughts about getting Berry in? Oh Ben Long looked okay, just didn't get near it often enough. Dermie talked him up when he did though….

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:31

Mate Berry couldn't get near it, 10 touches and 5 of them clangers. if he scores again around 30 points, he'll go up 5K.

Balic is worth looking at, that's about it.

      Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 14:01

Thanks smokin' clanger di clang clang by the sounds of it! Pass, ty!

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 13:38

Ben Long did some really nice things. But need to see another before any consideration given. Berry should get plenty of opportunity but might take a while to get going. Agree with whatyasmokin that Balic is worth a look. But if I bring him in it won't be as an onfield option

      whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 13:40

Yep Long did look like a quality player, needs to show more though.

        INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:01

Don't need anymore Pickett type scorers. Unless he goes 70+ next week it' s a likely pass

          Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 16:39

          Eddy to Balic. No brainer.

    Captain Risky · 17/04/2017 at 13:42

Yeah, so much for the avalanche of rookies we had 2 weeks ago. None of them have looked likely. Balic probably the only half decent one. Fisher looked ok for Carlton, but just played the one game.

    Cash generation fizzing badly..

      INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:03

I did like the look of Fisher. Have another look at him this week. If I pass on Balic he could very well be the reason

babo · 17/04/2017 at 13:54

How is Burton looking for future job security?

    Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 14:13

10+ years, can't see the Hawks getting rid of him,or dropping him for that matter. Some of the best talent coming through for mine! Oh, Cats still paying a $1.43, looks like a bargain. Oh, just in Vickery out….. Sicily in, but not much fantasy relevance there, but perhaps a few less clearances, for Titch&Co, Roughy further forward (scoring less). Yep $1.43 a bargain for mine.

      Babo · 17/04/2017 at 15:18

      Thanks mate

I think I'm going to bring him in.

        whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:22

        Paint the fence………..

    Derek · 17/04/2017 at 19:22

Will play every game this year

Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 14:09

There is only one team in my 5 leagues who is projected to get 2300+

Tough week?

    Moustachio · 17/04/2017 at 14:15

I must have got lucky, projected for high 2300s this week

      INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:25

Saw your playing Throts & likely to give him a bath Moustachio. I was wondering when you'd start to make your charge

INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:11

Tyrone Vickery is a late out. Hawks odds have been slashed from $3 to $1.50

    Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 14:20

    Lol

    gator59 · 17/04/2017 at 14:24

neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 14:21

Keep an eye on Fisher west aussie clone of Daniel Caleb or is it Caleb Daniel Thumping leftie bubble in 2 weeks but for me next week byeT-T

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:36

Like the look of him Neil. I may leave Balic alone for him. I want to make sure if I'm trading a dead rookie that it's to someone who can score well. Looks like Fisher can. But need some more evidence

      neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 15:18

like those little gotch types real terriers with a point to prove Every team needs a short arse paul callery clones

Chuck-a-spekky · 17/04/2017 at 14:27

I need Parfitt and T Mitchell to make up 265 points for a win. We both have Danger as capt. Shall I throw a Hail Mary and put the C on Mitchell?

    Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 14:30

    Yes!
Don't like your chances of getting 265 out of the other 2.

    Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 14:35

Yes, but if both going for league wins, hold fire till just b/f the bounce so they can't copy….(I'd be watching, if I was going for league wins). With a lead like that they should be looking to minimise your outs.

      DavidSA · 17/04/2017 at 14:38

Man gotta hope Danger goes -90 and Mitchell 130+

    Chuck-a-spekky · 17/04/2017 at 15:25

Weird wanting Mitchell to do better than danger as a cats fan. I feel dirty.

      hedski · 17/04/2017 at 15:55

      You should Chuck.

Luke444 · 17/04/2017 at 14:36

I reckon Tom Williamson will be a good pickup for bench cover. I'll be going Hampton out Williamson in. Then upgrading Tom Stewart to a Premo

Luke444 · 17/04/2017 at 14:37

Therefore culling two rookies who have made their cash

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 14:42

Very aggressive. Stewart hasn't made much & needs to get the 22 out of his cycle to start making decent coin again. Can understand getting rid of Hampton. Don't think he has much more to earn

      uDonkey · 17/04/2017 at 15:01

Yeah! Looking at Hampton and Hannan this week bank the cash for upgrade next week.

        Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 16:41

Too early to cull. Not enough money made yet.

          Hubba · 17/04/2017 at 18:54

Yes too early to cull. You need to be looking at 150k per trade for 25 trades and 5 corrective trades. That will get your 14million team …

Fuckyoujaeger · 17/04/2017 at 14:43

I'Ve just realised that jaeger omeara will be a late out this week… I have barter as my mid emergency for some unknown reason. I'm thinking about trading omeara down to horlin smith. Is it worth it? It should I take the donut this werk??

gator59 · 17/04/2017 at 14:51

Might make a sideways trade this week.. Treloar stinking it up and about to lose some serious cash… To Adams.. Thoughts please!!

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 15:13

Adams soft tissue history turned me off him. But if he stays healthy he's probably number 1 defender. But I wouldn't be trading Treloar to get him. Treloar will turn it around. Good players always do

    milesdeutscher · 17/04/2017 at 15:15

    Don't do it! Hold him!!!!

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 16:41

    Hold.

      Luke444 · 17/04/2017 at 16:43

He's good for a 105 average from here on I feel. Might as well keep

        DavidSA · 17/04/2017 at 16:45

Treloar solid M8 no worries keep him… waste of a trade.
I recall so many times over the years premiums bounce back with 2-3 120+ scores in a row u will kick yourself if you trade him

    Danners · 17/04/2017 at 18:04

Hold firm, you just might be burning 2 trades with how injury prone Adams is

      gator59 · 17/04/2017 at 18:59

Chees guys i will hold then going by these comments

uDonkey · 17/04/2017 at 14:59

Staying strong with Danger for the fourth week running.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 15:49

Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 16:17

What's the dealio with Josh Gibson this year?…previous 3 seasons he's averaged over 90 points, and has been a pretty reliable pick, this year he's been more stinky than a pile of dead bodies buried under a pile of turds.

    whatyousmokin · 17/04/2017 at 16:28

    Walrus tooth syndrome.

      Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 16:32

Roughy having a similar pungent odour so far this game, not helping my chances this week.

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 16:43

He seems to have lost the passion with a side that has lost personnel.

      Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 16:51

Still don't understand why Clarko would've ever wanted Vickery in his squad, boofhead's barely shown anything…ever.

Easter Bunny · 17/04/2017 at 16:32

Roughie, Titch, Gibson, Gunston, Burgoyne, Rioli, Stewart and young Parfitt all crapping their panties in the 1st half. The Easter fantasy misery has no end.

DavidSA · 17/04/2017 at 16:50

Man Marchbank, McGrath and Newman all looking like best rookies to fatten up we must hold these guys till the byes or atleast two of them and cull one when price has peaked.

Don't know if SPP or Hampton will reach much more than 250k which hurts

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 17:02

I think McGrath and Newman could be keepers, not sure about Marchbank yet.
Derek called it well the other night, McGrath to outscore Hampton and Marchbank.
Essendon could just be tanking now because of lack of match fitness, but will probably improve in the second half of the season, which will improve the whole side's results..and Sydney need to be out with the old and in with the new (man). πŸ™‚

      DavidSA · 17/04/2017 at 17:23

Agree Sydney could possibly right of the year if they lose another 2 of the next 3 games

Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 17:24

Sides will struggle this week with Danger down on form after an early hit. Can he lift for the last quarter?

Rocksta · 17/04/2017 at 17:33

Parsons looking good today after a 60 in his first game. I'd earmarked him to bring in next week as on the bubble. What happens………he gets reported.
I just can't take a trick this year.

    Danners · 17/04/2017 at 18:02

JS probably wasn't the best anyway

      Westy · 17/04/2017 at 18:18

Which makes him an interesting pick up in a few weeks.

Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 17:39

I'm thinking O'Meara to Balic and Roughy to Roo this week, and then all Hawks will be gone out of my side!

    TheLoneRanger · 17/04/2017 at 19:00

Love it, good thinking Russty. I am going Hanna to Balic and Ward to Merritt. Ward runs around but not near the footy.

Holty · 17/04/2017 at 17:40

1st time ive seen hawthorn this year and wow they are looking terrible. Plus they lose their 1st round pick next year is even worse if they continue like this.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 17:58

Looking pretty terrible and I think they need to get used to losing this year too…doesn't break my heart, as they've had a very good run of success, maybe it's time some bottom 8 teams from the last 3 years had a go at glory.
I reckon when a club like Hawthorn starts recruiting guys like Vickery, it's the beginning of the end.

    hedski · 17/04/2017 at 18:14

Contradicting fukk1ng pr1ck stop chatting sh1t about a cancer patient you wining mutt go choke on a hallaly

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:09

    Yep that's called a clanger.

Joshua · 17/04/2017 at 18:11

Mitchell in the 80s ?? 32 disposals at 72% I know lost of handballs but 10 tackles 10 score involvements 5 clearances and 3 inside 50s.

Didn't watch the game, does that seem right?

    KSinny · 17/04/2017 at 18:12

I think he had a lot of clangers which brought his score down but surely not 40 less than dream team.

    Joshua · 17/04/2017 at 18:13

Lots of handballs' hoping gets scaled up cause Atm I'll lose league game by 10pts

    Mich · 17/04/2017 at 18:13

He was on 11 sc points at quarter time…he did well to get in the 80s. Only 10 of his 33 disposals were contested

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:25

There's so much of SC scoring that is a secret. So nobody knows what is exactly 'right'

Vinny · 17/04/2017 at 18:14

Who is this Osama bloke. Mate get a life. Stop posting irrelevant crap.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:20

    You said it brother!…massively underwhelming.

    Swans2012 · 17/04/2017 at 19:26

    Agreed

Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 18:26

started like a bull out the gates, Kennedy x 2, Dahlhouse and Macrae, didnt that end quickly :/

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:30

2068 for me, after being predicted to get 2320 lol

      Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 18:30

2016 for me, 2250 odd projection, time for the cull to begin, no more free loaders!

        tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 18:36

Bloody licking my wounds after today. Danger and Titch bashed up my score. After having a projected score of around 2200, I ended up with 2079. It's time to pull the trade lever twice this week. Two rookie under achievers are on their way out. Time to get tough.

        KSinny · 17/04/2017 at 18:36

1940 for me 2280 projection xD

Iamme · 17/04/2017 at 18:28

No tons today, 2156 maybe a par score?

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:34

Pretty good score this week lamme.

    Randomcliche2 · 17/04/2017 at 18:39

Anything over 2100 is easily a par this week, par might even be a little less (top 10%)….this is the week to make serious jumps up the ladder with lucky/clever VC play though…seen some 2200 and 2300 ones floating around. Pitty I didn't….

hedski · 17/04/2017 at 18:34

Scraped in 2029, enough to win 2 of my cashies (not Pies JR unfortunately, how good is Sassy Foods doin?)
Cats guernsey on, bout to prance around take a last 4 beer walk with the mutt, may need a glass of water when I get home. Go cats.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:40

Better pull out that 2 litre Glass hedski, well done to your Cattas!….smashed those flog Hawks lol

      Derek · 17/04/2017 at 19:24

I didn't see game. I couldn't believe the score updates I was getting. Are the Hawks really that bad now?

        INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 19:35

Yes Derek. They need a rebuild

          hedski · 17/04/2017 at 20:22

Clarko a fair chance to walk out end of year IMO.

      hedski · 17/04/2017 at 20:21

Team in Piemans JR Community cash league, Sassy Foods, he is killing it.

Bells E Bubb · 17/04/2017 at 18:38

Barely broke 1900. Worst score for a non bye round I can remember.
Should I throw in the towel and be THAT guy in my league?
Hating SC right now.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:47

Nah , fight back mate!…too many peeps give up on their teams and drag their leagues down with their crappy scores each week, makes for easy wins but not much of a challenge for those playing seriously.
The last 6 games of the season, and finals are most important for being able to come home strong and take the League chocolates.

    Juzzy · 17/04/2017 at 19:23

    Nah. Don't be THAT guy.

Agree with Russty. Plenty of time left.

SC is a bit like golf (and I am a shite golfer). It only takes one good round to turn your frown upside down.
    Good luck Mate.

      Derek · 17/04/2017 at 19:28

I've 3 putted the first four holes.

      Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 19:29

I feel ya mate, how many times have you shot a 55 on the first 9, only to shoot a 42 on the second?.. love the challenge of Golf, and Supercoach.

      hedski · 17/04/2017 at 20:25

My team name a few years ago was KingNAGASbentCLUBS, cos I'm Not A Golfers Arsehole, have a bad temper, it costs a bit to re shaft a few clubs each week.

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 19:37

It's only round 4 & 2,000 is only just above par. You haven't been blown away. Use your mind & fight back

eskimo · 17/04/2017 at 18:42

Have champion data changed the rules this year. I don't remember them being so harsh. It used to be clangers etc.. But seems you get punished for fumbling a little in a pack during ball ups, or kicking to an open space, or bloody if the person you hand pass to stuffs things up you get the blame. I'm not only talking about people in my team it seems genuinely different this year. I want to know what changed.

    Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 18:51

The problem is eskimo that they didn't tell us how the scoring worked in the first place – how are we gonna know if they have changed anything?

    Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 18:53

I think what's effective and ineffective and what's contested and uncontested has been tweaked.

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:29

Think the rules changed a couple of seasons ago.

Pman · 17/04/2017 at 18:42

My worse score of the year with 2008 which surprisingly was enough to win 6/8 leagues. Guessing 2200 + will be a great score this round. Have some serious for concerns in Shaw, Ward, SPP and Treloar in particular. Kicking myself for being a sheep and trading in Swallow too.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 18:50

I'd say just hold on Swallow , see how he goes next week, was averaging 100 before this week's debacle.
Remember you only need to make the 8 in Leagues, top 4 for the double chance, long season to come yet.

    INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 19:39

I'd say everyone has problems & a score they don't like this week. But that's Supercoach. It happens

Leeds17 · 17/04/2017 at 18:46

Was there any scaling in the Geelong Hawks game? Scores haven't changed since straight after the game as far as I can see.

Cpt Pugwash · 17/04/2017 at 18:46

2058

Tough Day At The Office Community.

    tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 18:53

Not wrong there mate. I reckon par this week will be 2000-2050 if any of the scores in my leagues are anything to go by. Its been a bloodbath.

      The Rockburner · 17/04/2017 at 19:14

Was thinking my 2150 was so so but that has given me some encouragement

        INPieman · 17/04/2017 at 19:39

2150 is an excellent score this week

        Captain Risky · 17/04/2017 at 19:46

you beat me in a league pretty easily…

          Captain Risky · 17/04/2017 at 19:50

Actually that's the only game I lost, with a score of just 2071, I won 6/7, some average scores out there this week

Finnius123 · 17/04/2017 at 18:46

One person in my five leagues got to 2100 this week…

    Iamme · 17/04/2017 at 18:52

One person in my 9 leagues passed 2100 and thanks to Rocky it was me.

      The benchmark · 17/04/2017 at 19:14

I was looking big now I've finished on 2115. Not overly happy but gee it doesn't sound that bad reading these stats.

Bullshit · 17/04/2017 at 18:58

Like l said the scoring is bullshit at the end of the game the tally of both teams has to end up to a certain number. I watch the game and have live scores as the game plays. Sc gives us a list on what a player gets for certain possies. Way to many ex samples to give but l gave the Roughy one only because so many teams have him and if it came down to a few pts for winning and losing well thats why. I was watching the player and was on 53pts for the last 7 mins of the game without a touch then had a kick out on the full with 20 sec left and no clanger pts. We all know it BULLSHIT.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 19:12

Not trying to de-bunk your theory Bullshit, but, as messed up/ambiguous/ unknown as it is…it's the same for all of us, may as well just accept it, or not bother playing at all.

AFL Fantasy is much more predictable, players score points for kicking it out on the full.

      Bullshit · 17/04/2017 at 19:41

Very true just have to except it. But just dont give us if a long kick down field is marked its 4pts and so on its just not true. Every game has different amount of possies some are 100 possies different how on earth can they all end up with the same sc value in pts come game end??? Just dont give us a scoring system and say this is how players scores pts.

        whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:31

'Just dont give us a scoring system and say this is how players scores pts.'

Why not? It's their scoring system.

Col · 17/04/2017 at 19:17

I needed tMitch & roughy to get a combined 148 points to get a win! And to think it was in the bag

Joshua · 17/04/2017 at 19:27

Dusty an off game or is he finally coming back down to earth?

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 19:51

Well, he was tagged quite heavily, and it was public knowledge that he would be. just depends on how he will deal with a tag in the future. Him and the Coach. I reckon a gun midfielder shouldn't be concerned with a tag, trusting his own ability to negate it.
Is a so called gun midfielder still a gun if they give up everytime they get tagged?
Not sure but still think a lot of Dusty's decisions are still ruled by his ego.

      hedski · 17/04/2017 at 20:30

Cash league opponent brang in Dusty and banged the C on him….WIN.

    tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 19:51

Yes, he came back down to earth. He had an off game. I see an opportunity for a nice premo upgrade soon!!

Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 19:42

2182 lower than expected with Danger not quite on song. Tough week.

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:32

    That's good.

Derek · 17/04/2017 at 19:44

I hit an all time low this week. I had Berry on field. Seriously! Lost 4 leagues by less than 35pts.

    Shake n bake · 17/04/2017 at 19:55

I didn't do much better Derek you nearly in one league got me with you capt choice! Just glad l work every day over easter not being able to watch much footy!

      neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 20:07

not much better but my original game plan is on track and targets are there.Pencilled in Lynch at the start. In this week cheap same with Hanna Simmo Shaw I for one am not deviating

      Derek · 18/04/2017 at 10:09

Yeah, had to go Selwood over Danger after my Berry effort. Nearly got there.

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 20:02

I know you've had a bastard of a start, as I have in years past. Safe to say, forget about overall and just focus on fighting back to see how many leagues you can win from here.
I researched the shit out of Berry too and from all accounts, he was sposed to be a top notch gun….but I think in hindsight, maybe he's not ready for the big boys yet.
If it's any consolation, I lost 2 leagues by less than 3 points this week lol.

    SCaddict · 17/04/2017 at 23:06

Another horror start to the season hey. Still early doors so hopefully the Bunnies will bounce back.

George · 17/04/2017 at 20:09

Call me crazy, is Mark Murphy to Zach Merrett or another premo (Sloane, Rocky) a bad move?
Just don't think Murphy will be a top ten mid.
Please give me your thoughts

    Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 20:16

I guess not if you don't believe he can continue his form and had maxed out his cash, enabling you to move on, assuming you had him from when he was 400K?

      George · 17/04/2017 at 20:20

Yeah had him from the start Russty_ . Just not sure if he can keep his form or not.

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 20:23

    Wish I had him. Hold.

    hedski · 17/04/2017 at 20:32

    Ha.

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:33

    You're funny

Russty_ · 17/04/2017 at 20:18

Supercoach is open for trading out Hawks players now lol

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:33

    I don't have any haha.

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 21:36

Booted Roughy last week for Higgins. Lose lose situation atm. Lol.

    SCaddict · 17/04/2017 at 23:08

Roughie -> Macrae should be my lone trade this week. As I declared last week all Hawk premos not named Titch will be fantasy liabilities this season.

So even Derek will have to dump his beloved Cyril at some point … that's if he is at all interested in competing in league and rank this season. πŸ™‚

      hedski · 18/04/2017 at 00:31

Yeah might have to break the rules and sideways Rough this week. Pity.

Pman · 17/04/2017 at 20:26

If I had Murphy I wouldn't even think about trading him until such time he ceases to make money for you and/or form dip. He's currently one the best performing Mids in SC so I think it is a bit crazy and a bad move. Agree that Murphy may not be Top 10 at seasons end but now isn't the time to trade him.

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:36

The guy is trolling mate. You wouldn't trade him out yet even if you were thinking about it.

whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:27

Was on track for 2200, ended up with 2075ish still a top 7% score lol.

    Tommo09 · 17/04/2017 at 20:51

    yeah I got similar

Touk tuk · 17/04/2017 at 20:31

Worst score in 3 years…. 1970!!!!

Boltons Blues · 17/04/2017 at 20:37

Now that its open, its just a matter of who to trade out and who to trade in, team is as follows

Docherty, Adams, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, Newman (Hibbered, Stewart)
Danger, Selwood, Fyfe, Kennedy, Mitchell, Treloar, SPP, Parfitt (Fox, Taranto, Barrett)
Nakilands (Witts)
Dahlhaus, Kennedyt, Macrae, WHE, Roughead, Butler (Pickett, Eddy)

240k in the bank

    TBone · 17/04/2017 at 20:49

Looking good mate. Maybe would just do Balic in for Taranto to pocket more cash. Maybe would look to trade Marchbank to Shaw or something next week, once march goes up a little more and shaw down a bit more too

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 21:41

    Eddy to Balic

      neil Demons Delight · 17/04/2017 at 22:53

every chance Eddy will play soon and he goes up nearly 40k.Should he score well he will be a great cash cow

whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:49

Might trade SPP, reckon he's cooked.

    whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 20:50

nah one more week I'm being hasty.

    SCaddict · 17/04/2017 at 22:57

At GWS was always going to be a tough game for him as it was for a lot of his team mates. In fact not a single ton to be seen on the Port side of the ledger. I'll be looping him this week (assuming Barrett is still an out) at home against the Blues – potential for another decent score. Another 70 plus and he will start earning some more decent coin again.

But if he spuds with another sub 50 it will be time to go for sure.

whatyasmokin · 17/04/2017 at 21:06

Time to start kicking ass. Not convinced with Balic, have my rookies sorted for now need to spend my bank.

Marchbank>Laird
Butler>McCrae.

Adams, Doch, Laird, Loyd, Otten, Newman – McGrath/Hampton

Rocky, Danger, Oliver, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar, Fox, GHS – SPS/SPP/Barrett

Witts, Sandi – D.Cameron

Dahl, Nank, McCrae, Steele, WHE, Houston – Parfitt/Eddy

    Top Gun · 17/04/2017 at 21:53

Like the trades but is it too early to trade Butler? Do you have enough to go GHS to McCrae via Parfitt?

    tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 22:58

Wow smoke. You must have a serious warchest to pull those 2 trades.

    Well done.

Lucky for me I already have Laird, and Marchbank too by the way. I have Butler too!

Are you sure you have enough cash for these two trades?

    Russty_ · 19/04/2017 at 02:02

I think you have 500k or something awesome like that?…dunno if I'd trade out Marchbank and Butler yet..averaging 77 and 76, they're pulling their weight.
If you really wanna kick ass next week I'd go, Hampton to Laird, and WHE to Riewoldt (N).

How much would you have left then?

Don't Blush Baby · 17/04/2017 at 22:06

What the Ruck – Mumford or Martin ? I can't decide ?

    tophawk · 17/04/2017 at 23:00
