Have a ripper Easter Jock you glorious human.

    jockreynolds · 13/04/2017 at 14:28

Hope you and everyone else in here does as well Eric!! Have a safe and excellent one mate

    Mick · 13/04/2017 at 18:36

He really is a glorious specimen of man. His wonderment brings tears to the eye. God bless you, Jock.

Dean_R · 13/04/2017 at 14:13

Gonna have to trade out jaeger omeara. He's not playing anywhere near his previous levels before injury, and his BE Is too high. considering trading his to n .newman. Let me know what you think

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 15:07

Good trade. Jaeger not earning his spot and Newman will make you heaps of cash.

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:19

I've traded him up to Dusty and dropped Tuohy down to Newman this week, going for both point accumulation and the cash that Newman will generate. O'meara out is a good call, as long as he doesnt burn us with a ton this week

Josh · 13/04/2017 at 14:14

should i be trading lynch (suns) out for nick riewouldt?

    SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:12

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:23

Would give it a week at least to see if Lynch can bounce back, hold for now, likely to be bigger issues on your team than sideways trades for premiums

Choppers · 13/04/2017 at 14:16

Just going the one. Smith to Newman.

Happy Easter to all.

    Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 14:22

Did the exact same. Happy Easter mate

Krups · 13/04/2017 at 14:18

Tuohy to Adams. Tuohy wont finish in top 6 so out he goes.
Stewart to Otten. Yes i know i missed out on the first price increase but he will still nearly make double cash. Stewart going crap.

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:25

Stewart to Newman if you don't already have him. Will get the full price value and not cost yourself any of your bank

      Krups · 13/04/2017 at 15:49

I stuffed up last week and grabbed Newman when i should of grabbed Otten

    Steven · 13/04/2017 at 16:36

Im doing the same tuohy to adams but getting newman for smith

Also keeping gawn for this week as got nank as cover and play houston on field

    undypuncher · 13/04/2017 at 16:37

Thats dangerous otten a chance to be dropped any week and your just chasing points

      Steven · 13/04/2017 at 17:14

But otten will play now because mcgovern is out for while so he will be second/third forward and covering in ruck aswell

TRIGGER HAPPY · 13/04/2017 at 14:20

Hands up who is not trading in Newman?
Straight in for Smith for mine.

Trigs Happy Place Match ups Rd 4

LEK V Liam
INP v SC Addict
TRIGGER HAPPY v dontblushbaby
Billy v BVC
Gator v Kev
Neilsdemondelights v Rick Grimes
Shake n Bake v Moustachio
Patch v Jock
Swans2012 v Tophawk

No easy games. Have to bring it.

Looking at that lot the two that immediately that jump out are:

Pie V Addict – what a classic that one will be

Jock v Patch. The master versus the apprentice. With some patch work to his team who knows.

The birds also take flight in the swans and hawks.

Mouth-watering stuff.

Have a great Easter, lets hope we don't have to pull a rabbit out of the hat on Sunday.

Don't forget if you want Newman to bring him in before tonight's lock out.

Hop to it.

    INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 14:28

I'm surprised on 36k have brought in Newman. I was expecting more than double that number. A match up with SCA. Couldn't have picked a worse week to weaken the team & restructure! But I sill like my chances

      Wedge · 13/04/2017 at 15:18

I'm bringing him in just waiting for teams to drop. Might be many more to jump on still

      SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:20

It's perfect timing if you ask me INP. You will get to greet my latest addition in the Champion Data Golden Boy a.k.a. Bont with a delightful VC on the back of his jersey. 🙂

        TRIGGER HAPPY · 13/04/2017 at 15:24

Can't wait till he plays 4 qtrs
130 in 3 just warming up last week
Back at the dome watershed game on good Friday set up 4 him to star.
Also has the VC gig in my team

        INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 15:34

I need to borrow Ben's team this week!

          SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:46

Haha thankfully that isn't permitted under the rules when I last checked … or I would be in a world of strife.

            INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 17:05

Next year I'm xeroxing his team!!!!

    Top hawk · 13/04/2017 at 14:42

Stress free trading this week. Just Joel Smith to Nic Newman. No worries.

I am steeling myself for another huge battle this week against Swans 2012. I have to admit, there are 0 easy games in this league. This would have to be the toughest league I have competed in. Lovin it!! Good luck and happy easter to all. Cheers TH

      gator59 · 13/04/2017 at 18:32

Great stuff Trigger..I'm playing Kev this week and i hope my players put up a better fight than last weeks effort

      Yep have brung Newman in

Good luck to all and Happy Easter to EVERYONE in this great community!!

    Hand raised.

Davo · 13/04/2017 at 14:25

Thinking of trading Taranto to Swallow. I think Swallow will provide great cash generation and points scoring if he stays fit. Thoughts community? Cheers.

    Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 14:29

    Sounds good to me

    Leon · 13/04/2017 at 14:31

Was thinking the same. Negatives are we lose a dpp and it gets tight to cover both him and SPP in rd 9 bye. Also have to question. Are we wasting a trade to be in same situation, only a month early?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 14:34

I'm keeping TT. Good job security and he isn't bleeding cash yet.

    Neverweaken · 13/04/2017 at 17:22

Would not trade in swallow. I started with him so happy enough but could easily be a JOM in a couple of weeks. Rolled ankle and now corked thigh. While not major he seems to attract niggles. There will be better rookies in a week or two and Taranto will pick up

Sir Sam · 13/04/2017 at 14:29

Making two trades this round.
First is Max Gawn to Stefan Martin. While Nankervis was tempting and would've put even more cash in the bank, I think Stef will be a bit more solid as long as Archie Smith doesn't come along and bugger it up.
Second trade I've made is Ed Vicker-Willis to Nic Newman. My backline is a bit shaky with two players on the bench not having played a game (Hibberd from the Roos and Willis), so trading him out to Newman is good for some more cash generation and some coverage on the bench (putting Stewart on the bench to bring Newman into the playing six).

    PD09 · 13/04/2017 at 14:36

I'm leaning the same way with my trade for big Max.
I think Martin most solid of rucks now & has done it before. Expect him to avg 100/110 for rest of yr
The other option I'm considering is Witts as think he'll avg 85/95 for rest of yr & gives me a nice bank of $315k

I'm also trading hibberd for Newman

      Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 14:41

      I'm going grundy over him

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 14:37

    Stefen is a solid choice.

    Cane · 13/04/2017 at 15:11

    I'm doing exact same thing

    Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 17:13

I seriously recommend you get in Nank. DPP and will finish a top 6 forward

      Sir Sam · 13/04/2017 at 17:47

Aye, since I left what I was doing I decided against going Gawn to Martin and instead went Gawn to Nankervis. While I don't see Nank as a premo just yet, I think seeing he leaves me with 257k in the bank overall and with him being a DPP he'll be a good addition. Might also save me having to fix my ruck in case Archie Smith buggers it up later in the year, messing with Stef's scoring.

Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 14:33

Hello community here are my two trades I made –
Firstly I swapped Smith (Melb) for Newman (SYD), Obviouly smith is injured so that was an obvious swap as Newman will also generate heaps of cash and descent points,

Secondly I decided to move on hibbered to fox. Wanted to fix all my rookies so I get maximum possible cash generation. Hoping fox will consistently get game time and make cash. As I don't believe hibberd will find any games anytime soon.

Thanks community happy easter!

INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 14:35

Newman to one of Hibbo Jnr or Mountford is signed off. If Preuss is named he's coming in for Goldy. WItts comes off the pine & an enormous warchest awaits for fallen premos to be exchnaged for failed mid pricers or rookies that hit the wall in cash gen. The likes of Marchbank Steele JOM Taranto & other's will be under the microscope this weekend. The question is who's next to wear the blindfold at Pieman's firing range

    BrownlowBoy · 13/04/2017 at 14:44

How much $ in the bank Pieman and how many trades you got left?

      INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 14:56

      488k & 27 trades

        BrownlowBoy · 13/04/2017 at 15:04

          INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 15:07

I don't like the thought of waiting till Round 7 2020 till Pickett gets to 200K

            Steeeve · 13/04/2017 at 15:49

Me neither but only needs one score in the 60s.
Granted that's double his current efforts.

        Josh · 16/04/2017 at 03:41

So who you picking with all dem $$$

Jay · 13/04/2017 at 14:41

Newman in for V-Ellis and Eddy out for Taylor Adams.

Figured I can keep him in my mid until I downgrade a Def rookie and then move him back into my Defense.

Rock · 13/04/2017 at 14:42

hello community would love some insight and tips for this week please

def: docherty, m boyd, laird, otten, hampton, stewart (e vw, hibberd)
mid: danger, pendles, JPK, fyfe, beams, treloar, spp, swallow, (pickett, miles, barret)
rucks: grundy, sandi (pruess)
for: dahl, macrae, nank, houston, steele, parfitt, (taranto, eddy)

50k and 29 trades left cheers guys

    Thr mongrel punt · 13/04/2017 at 14:47

Evw or hibberd out for newman. Otherwise your team looks good.

      Rock · 13/04/2017 at 14:50

just what i was thinking cheers mongrel, dont think anything else needs to be done this week

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 14:52

Definitely bring Newman in for EVW. Maybe look at a downgrade for Steele? Mids looking solid.

      Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 17:14

Don't downgrade steele. He is looking sweet.

Yeooooooo · 13/04/2017 at 14:43

Goldy to nank, goldy will not be in anposition to pump out consistent 100's like previous years due to preuss.

+ cash from goldy gets pickett up to swallow, need some points and pickett doing nothing for me on the bench

    INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 14:57

    Like those trades indeed

Thr mongrel punt · 13/04/2017 at 14:44

Is a trade up from pickett to swallow a good idea? I have 275k in bank. Happy with my sandi witts ruck combo. I have marchbank otten and hampton as D4 to D6 with stewart and newman on bench. Hsve Roughy Steele and WHE as F4 ti F6. SPP as M8.

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:30

If Pickett isnt on-field and you're happy with mid premiums, i'd hold a week or two and trade down roughy/steele and upgrade pickett to a premium without burning a trade by going pickett – swallow – premium given one/both of roughead and steele will have to go anyway

      Thr mongrel punt · 13/04/2017 at 16:15

Cheers. Scacman . I think I'll hold at this stage. Already made 4 trades this year!
I haven't given up on steele yet though. Hoping with stevens and armitage out he'll get more midfield minutes. Also hoping roughys 99 is a sign of better things to come.

    Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 17:15

    I am making that trade

Zac · 13/04/2017 at 14:54

Should I trade Taranto for swallow would leave me with 50k and 26 trades

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:44

    That's a tough one.

If you don't have any other problems, Id go for it.

Col · 13/04/2017 at 14:54

any rookie that gets dropped is getting the chop for Newman & Gawn is going to NRoo, Nank in the rucks

T-Man · 13/04/2017 at 14:55

O Meara is worrying me and feel like bringing in David Swallow, may not do it if Horlin Smith plays.
It's a 50/50 situation

    Leroy · 13/04/2017 at 15:13

Thinking the same trade dont know about GHS though

I Steele Your Girl · 13/04/2017 at 14:55

Trade to Stefen or Sandy…. possibly Nank or Witts.

      I Steele Your Girl · 13/04/2017 at 15:17

Great comment INPieman, out he goes

Rufhead&SheSwallows · 13/04/2017 at 14:55

Hey community, trading Gawn out, but to who… Grundy, Martin or Nank? Leading towards Grundy. Cheers community!

    INPieman · 13/04/2017 at 15:22

    1. Nank: (Gets you money, has DPP & he's killing it)
    2. Grundy: (Without Cox he's scoring well)
    3. Martin. (View this link for what will happen if Archie Smiths name pops up on the team sheet)

      BrownlowBoy · 13/04/2017 at 16:01

Do you think Smith will get a look in Pieman?

      hedski · 13/04/2017 at 16:52

That's gold Pie, I no longer own a computer for similar reasons.

ScoMan · 13/04/2017 at 14:57

Gawn to Stef Martin. I've got Nank in the forward line and Sandilands as my other ruck. Choosing Martin over Witts or Grundy.

Mitch Hibberd out of the mid & traded to Hayward, switching Pickett to mid.

I looked at Newman but could only get there by switching Jake Lloyd into the midfield, and I didn't want to end up having him trapped there. I've also get a pretty stacked defence in terms of rookie cash generation, but mid and forward I'm lacking.

DEE · 13/04/2017 at 14:57

thinking of trading murphy (bob) to newman
gives me marchbank, otten, newman on field with Hampton and stewart on bench which I think is ok.
started 4 strong def with 2 rooks on ground.
Think it will be ok to have 3 on field.

Upgrade JOM to ?
Can spend up to $600k.
Was thinking Sloane but have Crouch at M7.

So here is the plan.
Have two rookies on the field in the fwd line at the moment as Hogan is on the bench
So was thinking of bringing in Roo leaving $80k in the kitty.
When Hogan returns no rookie forwards on the ground.

Then next week upgrade Crouch to Hannebery?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 15:11

    Not a bad plan.

    Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 17:18

Cop that. Just be wary of burning too many trades. Think as hard as you can a bit how you can get the same results but with less trades. No issue with getting sloane and crouch in the same team. Their output will stay the same either way.

    Neverweaken · 13/04/2017 at 17:26

I was thinking that but turned JOM into Newman by moving Adams and keeping BMurph.

    Cpt Pugwash · 13/04/2017 at 21:41

Keep bob. He's of half back this week. Clay smith in will play forward and Biggs out. He will pump out 90+

Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 14:58

Everyone pulling the trigger on JOM to Swallow?
Also getting Newman in, Stewart or Hibbered out?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 15:12

    Hibbered. Won't get a game.

Jordy · 13/04/2017 at 14:59

Thoughts on Pickett into Robbie Fox. I feel Pickett has much better job security as a slow burn, but think if fox can survive at least 3 weeks he will make more than Picketts whole season in that period. He will probably be shafted as soon as Heeney is back

    Young_Guns · 13/04/2017 at 18:14

True! I'm in exactly same frame of mind…….but on the bubble too! I think i'm going to have another look see at him on a big Subi Oval for a 3rd gamer. IT'S A HOLD FOR ME HERE!

Kevdog · 13/04/2017 at 15:03

Should I hold Matt Crouch or trade him to someone like clayton oliver or josh kelly. ?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 15:13

If you've got the spare cash maybe side trade to Marc Murphy?

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:44

Go to an ultra premium if you've got the bank, if not, wait till you do. Other good option is swallow if you don't have him

    Thr mongrel punt · 13/04/2017 at 16:49

Probably needed to make the crouch to oliver trade last week. I'd hold him now and wait until you can go straight to a fallen premo like hannebury.

Micky_B · 13/04/2017 at 15:04

Hold or trade lynch from gold coast?

    oldmate65 · 13/04/2017 at 15:57

Hold for now, too early to trade him. Also GC is playing Carlton this week, hopefully can get a bag.

Nathan · 13/04/2017 at 15:05

Started with Nank & Sandy in ruck with Witts on the pine. Thinking of trading Strnadica in for Eddy or Pickett get Witts onto ground and move Nank into the Fwd. Will keep loophole option make $40k. Will bring in Newman also. Only used one trade at this stage Roughy for WHE

Backs – Adams, Shaw, Laird, Marchbank, Otten, Hampton
(Hibberd, Stewart)
Mid – Danger, Kennedy, Treloar, Fyfe, Beams, Kelly, O'Meara, Swallow (SPP, Barrett, Pickett)
Ruck – Nank, Sandi (Witts)
Fwd – Dahl, Macrae, Steele, WHE, Taranto, Butler (Eddy, Parfitt)

Scac · 13/04/2017 at 15:11

Gone with Tuohy down to Newman as a cash grab, and JOM straight to Dusty. Not expecting Tuohy to be a top 6-10 back, nor is he going to make us any money. O'Meara's poor effort on the weekend sees him upgraded to Dusty for big points output, and ive still got SPP and Swallow to make serious coin in the mid. Roughy down next week at around 400k to fix up one more premium back.

Thoughts community??

Backs: Adams, Laird, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, Newman (Stewart, Hibberd)
Mids: Dusty, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Mitchell, Beams, Treloar, SPP, Swallow (Barrett, Parfitt, Florent
Rucks: Grundy, Sandi (Strnadica)
Forwards: Nank, Dalhaus, Franklin, Macrae, Hoskin-Elliott, Roughead (Houston, Eddy)

    SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:24

I plan to do likewise with Tuohy -> Newman and JOM -> Bont.

      TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:26

Is Dusty going to have a higher ceiling throughout the season than Bont, or will the time forward ultimately hurt his scoring via no clearances/inside 50s if he doesnt kick bags?

        SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:33

I've got nothing against Dusty and in fact will likely be trading him into my Real Dream Team side this week, so I believe he is an excellent selection in all fantasy formats this season. But I'm just so sick of the Bont getting looked after by CD and not owning him that it's a case of 'if you can't beat em join em' ha ha.

Westy · 13/04/2017 at 15:14

This week bringing in:
Newman for Hibberd. That's the easy one.
Second one is a little more controversial.
Sandilands to M. Murphy via Nank to Ruck and Parfitt to Fwd

Brent · 13/04/2017 at 15:17

Need everyone's thoughts on the following please Community. Either going to one of the following

1. Trade out M. Gawn and J. O'meara for S. Martin and D. Swallow

2. Trade out M. Gawn and M. Hibberd for S. Martin and N. Newman

Cheers and Happy Easter to all!

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 15:20

Tough one. Newman is almost a must have this season but O''meara is starting to bleed money.

Personally I'd get Newman in this week. Hibbard wont get a game and Newman will make a lot of cash. Maybe wear the possibly average score form O'Meara for another week.

    Tibor · 13/04/2017 at 17:16

Not hard to see why you would lose patience with JOM. At least he is playing and will still make some money. Newman is making a very nice dollar already. Swallow might make some handy coin but unless you considered him a keeper Newman is the better cash generator.

As for Hibberd he is making you the same money and giving you the same points as me. At least I'm giving you my half arsed advice.

Damo · 13/04/2017 at 15:21

Steele into Riewoldt… too early for this kind of thing?

    SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 15:27

I intend to keep Steele at least whilst there is still cash to be made. NRoo has traditionally struggled against the Pies too with a 86 career average although I realise this is an opportune week to pounce on him from a BE perspective. He's too much of an injury risk for my own liking but there is no arguing if he can stay out there he will be a top 3 forward.

      Damo · 13/04/2017 at 15:47

Yeah cheers mate have a tough matchup this week and probably chasing points

    Neverweaken · 13/04/2017 at 17:28

Was thinking JOM to NRoo after trading him out week 2. But very nervous of injury. Will wait and watch. Steele should make more cash

    CoachDamo · 13/04/2017 at 17:53

    Give Steele more time.

Ben · 13/04/2017 at 15:27

Hi all,

Needing some advice on my team and possible trade options if people wouldn't mind. Currently ranked 26,024 overall.

DEF: Shaw, Laird, Howe, Lloyd, Marchbank, Otten (Hampton, Stewart)
MID: Dangerfield, Treloar, Fyfe, T. Mitchell, M. Crouch, Beams, Steele, SPP (Barrett, Parfitt, Hibberd)
RUCK: Grundy, Sandilands (Cameron)
FWD: Dahlhaus, T. Lynch(GC), Nankervis, Hoskin-Elliot, Butler, Houston (Eddy, Pickett)

Will certainly go Hibberd –> Newman (via Lloyd DPP)
However, I do not gain cash from that trade and remain with $27.6k.

No other major issues (I dont think), except have a few premiums who just are not quite producing the goods as I thought they would (e.g. Lynch, Treloar, Crouch) but dont think I should trade just yet as I dont really have the $$$ to get anyone super worthy and "performing". Thoughts??

This means I will only make 1 trade this week.

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:34

Could do worse than bring crouch down to Swallow which gives you 200k to upgrade a rookie next week, having butler and houston both onfield long term is scary, could bring in a touk miller or even a gun mid via dpp

Mitch · 13/04/2017 at 15:29

Hey guys ive already traded out EVW for Newman this round, but for my second trade im not too sure if i should try get swallow in for O'meara (he's gotta come good but isnt in my final team plans). I've also considered trading Pickett as hes not going to make any more useful cash, but cant find a suitable replacement having no cash spare.

DEF: Larid, Shaw, Lloyd, Marchbank, Otten, Hampton (Newman, Stewart)

Also what is everyones thoughts on Ryan Burton? seems to be in a role that will score well (104 & 80) and has job security, but is awkward at 254k

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:36

Wont make those scores each week, and too awkward to make cash. Swallow is your best cash grab at that mid 200-300k price, but get on him this week or dont bother

    HappyFyfe · 13/04/2017 at 17:11

As you can see from my post below I'm looking at Burton too. The 80 was in a game where he missed most of the first quarter off the ground after a head knock. Not a bad score for three quarters. Price is the issue as probably not a keeper and so would need to keep up this form if to rise sufficiently.
Pick 19 in 2015 and the word was the Hawks were surprised to get him that low and only did due to an injury hit Year. His role this year off half back interests me given the ball will be in the defensive half for the hawks this year by the looks of it. Clarko will want to put time into this kid. He's got Mitchell's no.5 jersey so there is a feeling he will be an important part of the teams future.
Classic risk v reward POD midpricer!

    Neverweaken · 13/04/2017 at 17:30

I started with swallow and JOM. Trading out JOM but wouldn't trade in swallow. Hold JOM for another week or two for better rookies.

HappyFyfe · 13/04/2017 at 15:33

Ok so I (like many others) lost Gawn last round. I like to try and see this as an opportunity to get in a player I missed. For me this has to be someone I could use, as I would have Gawn, as a VC option. I therefore am thinking Bont now any doubt over how the reduction in hitouts would affect his score has been removed. Given he has North and Brisbane coming up I don't see his price dropping anytime soon and it might even be the lowest we can pick him up for before the end of the season.

I already have Newman, I have Nank to swing into the ruck but the issue is I only have 6k in the bank so cannot do this in one trade. This leaves me with some choices…

1. Give up the Bont and go to a premium ruck, probably Stef as it suits my byes.
2. Downgrade a playing rookie to Hayward e.g. Hannan or Eddy allowing Gawn to Bont
3. Downgrade JOM to Witts allowing Gawn to Bont and 27k in bank
4. Downgrade JOM to Burton (POD, playing halfback in a weak Hawks team and SPP which could be useful if BLong ends up being named) allowing Gawn to Bont and 65k in bank.

I am currently on 29 trades having only gone from Smith to Newman. I was set on option 3 for the week but am now leaning to option 4 as I don't like the idea of giving the advantage to all those who started with Witts and the more I read about Burton especially in his role this season the more I think he is highly relevant.

Thoughts and advice would be welcome. Thanks

slats7 · 13/04/2017 at 15:34

Happy Easter community!

Dusty Spurs · 13/04/2017 at 15:37

I have 300 K in the bank and am considering upgrading Marchbank to T.Adams this week as I am going against a seemingly worthy opponent this week. Should I pull the trigger now or hold off with the aim of getting in Dusty once one of my rookies appreciates enough?

Rivo · 13/04/2017 at 15:46

While the temptation to trade Gawn to Dusty, Roo or Bont is strong, I can't justify it as it would leave me no ruck bench cover. Is it worth the risk? Option 1 still my preferred path..

1. Gawn & Hibberd to Stef Martin & Newman – Nank stays at F3, Strnadica loop;
2. Gawn & Hibberd to Riewolt & Newman – swing Nank to R1, Sandi R2, Strnadica R3 (no cover);
3. Gawn & Stewart to Dusty/Bont & Newman – swing as above (no cover).

    Knackers · 13/04/2017 at 17:26

Ruck cover is overated. Take the gamble, you can always swing Nank back fwd in a few weeks when you have generated enough $$$ to bring in another premo ruck.

oldmate65 · 13/04/2017 at 15:47

Hi lads, just wondering about some potential options.

I am looking to trade out Matt Crouch this week as my second trade, (Newman in as the first)
Who should I get in?
Crouch is priced at 496k currently and handballs too much,
I have only 78k left.

Would love some potential options, thanks.

    Danners · 13/04/2017 at 17:02

Hold Crouch, wait a couple of weeks. Trading out under-performing premos should be the last of your worries at the moment

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 17:04

Wouldn't recommend trading but if u really want to get rid of him I would suggest wines or Titch. The problem is you want to bring in a player in the top 8 mids. And Titch and wines may be in the top 8 or may not.

Or you could bring in Macrae or Dahlhouse allowing you to swing from mid to fwd when you need and Im pretty confident they will be top 6 fwds.

Norgs · 13/04/2017 at 15:48

Big decision to be made. Gawn to one of either Roo, Grundy or Stef. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    TheScacman · 13/04/2017 at 15:52

Grundy should be top 2-3. Hold out on Roo to see if he stays fit, definitely one to look at around the byes when upgrading Fwds. Plus you can bank 70K off the bat

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:56

Ill be bringing in Stef or Preuss for him

    Danners · 13/04/2017 at 17:01

Roo, so you can see how the ruck situation unfolds

Steeeve · 13/04/2017 at 15:54

Goldy out to Witts seems like premo for non-keeper. But I don't care. Because Witts will end up around $400k and sooner rather than later. Also I already have Preuss, Sandi and Nank.
But most importantly it gives me juuust enough war chest to bring in Hanners and Simpson in the next fortnight.

One premo out for two in the long run. Plus bigtime cash gen. Just wish I'd done it a week earlier. If only I'd known Goldy was going to lose the number one ruck slot to a bloke who wasn't even supposed to play round two.

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:16

    I'm not convinced about Preuss.

      Steeeve · 13/04/2017 at 17:24

Doesn't really matter for him, because he will stay on my pine. But it's now or never to jump off Goldy. Even if he resumes the number one ruck mantle he will be sharing with Preuss AND Majak, in a losing side.
He could average 120 from here on and make me look silly but I think there's a better chance he struggles to reach his usual glorious heights.

Pherso · 13/04/2017 at 15:58

Is Fox a definite trap or worth the risk?

    Kermo · 13/04/2017 at 16:46

Im wondering same thing. Going to bring him in for Hibberd. Has to be worth it doesn't he? Only $102K. Should make us $150+ in a few weeks.

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:55

If you have a donut and NO other problems I would bring him in for the likes of Mountford.

      Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:14

Heeney trained really well this week, have on good authority he will play next week.

      Pherso · 13/04/2017 at 17:34

That's what I'm thinking exactly but getting rooks right vs having trades later is the main conundrum.

TSB · 13/04/2017 at 15:59

Gawn To Taylor Adams via swingset
Trash Backline rookie too Newman

This evens out my backline to 4 premos

    TSB · 13/04/2017 at 16:00

    Nank + Sandi in ruck

John · 13/04/2017 at 16:05

Gawn out for grundy and taranto out for newman via hibberd swing. This gives me a link between def and mid, allowing me to then swing adams into mid meaning i only have spp as a rookie on field, while having an extra rookie down back where they are more reliable. Also alows me to pocket over 100k.

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:13

Love the DPP. You can't have enough of them!

Sam · 13/04/2017 at 16:07

My 1 trade if used will be Eddy to Fox, via Pickett. Purely for cash generation so may hold….how much is a trade worth???

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:45

    Do you have Newman

    Danners · 13/04/2017 at 17:01

Good trade, making cash always helps

    Sam · 13/04/2017 at 17:38

Yeah have got Newman already and didn't start with Gawn or Goldy so no ruck issues

KSinny · 13/04/2017 at 16:16

Guys do I trade Tuoy or Bob Murphy to Newman??

    Soothsayer · 13/04/2017 at 16:25

It would give you cash to get on a fallen Simpson or Heath Shaw when they trough out..

      KSinny · 13/04/2017 at 16:30

Which one do I trade to Newman though, Murphy or Tuohy?

        BigBuggars · 13/04/2017 at 16:51

Murphy a better chance to improve for mine.

        SCaddict · 13/04/2017 at 17:30

Tuohy tweaked his shoulder against the Dees. Not sure how bad it is but it could be an issue in the future affecting his ability to tackle etc so he may as well go first if you are undecided.

          KSinny · 13/04/2017 at 17:34

Alright I'll do that cheers mate

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:45

Do you have any Donuts on your bench?

      KSinny · 13/04/2017 at 17:20

Yeh I've got Zac Guthrie but trying to get some cash, not sure who's gonna come good Tuohy or Murphy

OleUnited · 13/04/2017 at 16:21

Hey community,

Thoughts on Hibberd to Newman
Caddy to either the bont, sloane, or dusty? via dpp

Much appreciated!

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:52

Yep solid trades. I watch Richmond every week and I don't see Caddy getting to 100+ output.

TheGreatBozza · 13/04/2017 at 16:23

I'm stuck with Hibberd on my MID bench and Smith down back, but I don't have the cash to go Smith > Newman. Here are my options:

1. Hibberd > Newman via Adams DPP (SPP bench, running 4 rooks on field down back)

2. Hibberd > Fox
Smith > Newman

Other issues are Roughy and JOM but id rather drop dead beat rookies

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:46

    Id go option 2

Soothsayer · 13/04/2017 at 16:24

Is it too late to get in Preuss?

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:49

    Id say no.

Considering going Gawn to Preuss, giving me extra cash for other problems But I am unsure.

      Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:11

2 weeks ago he wasn't even in the team….. everyone seems very sure he is the real deal…… not convinced

        JDP · 13/04/2017 at 17:23

Are you sure Goldy should be traded Derek – I watched the game against GWS and thought he still didn't look 100% but will be better for the run and I'm considering keeping him. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

          Derek · 13/04/2017 at 18:15

there is no doubt Goldy will be hurt if Preuss continues to play. I've posted about Lone Wolf ruckmen enough, and how most clubs will be looking to go back to the two Ruckman team of pre sub days.

West Coast, Swans, Cats, Hawks and Bulldogs all the recent premiers all had Two ruckmen.

There are plenty who are looking at getting Grundy, but as soon as Cox is back, and he will be, poor scores will follow. Beware Grundy buyers.

I don't think Goldy is 100% either and that is why Preuss is playing.

As Goldy gets better he will return to being the main Ruckman and much better scores will follow, but I believe the Preuss experiment will continue and Norf will stick to their plan.

Goldy will be on my watchlist for the right price.

For those who have him now…… tough one!

If you keep him now, you keep him for the season and therefore don't care about his price, just his points.

I think his points will be ok, especially if he is fit.

            JDP · 13/04/2017 at 18:58

            Cheers m8

            BrownlowBoy · 13/04/2017 at 19:55

Derek who would you recommend, Grundy or Martin?

undypuncher · 13/04/2017 at 16:40

Jaeger omeara will burn everyone by seasons end unless he get injured same roughy back these fellas in. They started in your teams for a reason back them in its rd 4 !

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 16:50

What you said does not make sense…

    BigBuggars · 13/04/2017 at 16:55

I'm with you Undies. JOM BE not huge, so if he pumps out a ton this week he'll still generate more cash, and Roughy just had his best result and is improving every week! Knee jerk reactions are poison in SC. Look at all the dolts jumping off Gazza last week.

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:09

JOM had 36 touches two weeks ago. I can see him scoring good

BigBuggars · 13/04/2017 at 16:47

Happy Easter all. Bowes out, Nank to F4 (or 3, depending where you rank Roughy), and Witts into Nanks spot (Sandi and Preuss the other 2). Then Hibberd to Newman. Leaves 26 trades (2 corrections last week) and $280K in the war chest. Trades for rest of year then become injury enforced, or upgrading mid pricers to premos via rookie rotating. All thoughts appreciated.

jimmy_raiders · 13/04/2017 at 16:51

Hannan to Broomhead this week?

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 17:08

    I'd hold.

    ben andrews · 13/04/2017 at 19:26

Good thought, Broomhead had 26 disposals last week and would be a very good selection for a low price

ridge · 13/04/2017 at 16:52

should I trade out Taranto or just keep him. I already have swallow so should I trade him out for Robbie fox or George horlin-smith

Danners · 13/04/2017 at 16:55

No Gawn or O'Meara to worry about for me so will start to make cash pending teams by doing
Stewart to Newman
Eddy to Fox (via DPP)
To leave me with $70k in the bank
Happy Easter all!

TRIGGER HAPPY · 13/04/2017 at 16:58

We are just starting Newman on the field tonight yeah?
no need to be fancy with loopholes is there?

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:07

I have Hibberd might as well loop

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 17:07

If you can loop hole do it. But ye Newman is starting onfield for me

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 17:21

Depends if Stewart plays for the loop.
Thinking Newman Otten and Hampton on field, M'Bank emergency. Gonna be a tough call who's on this week.

    CoachDamo · 13/04/2017 at 17:55

Good question – I'm undecided. Need to leave one of Hampton, Otten, Newman and Marchbank on the bench – it's anyone's guess who might hit 100 and who might struggle to 40.

    John James · 13/04/2017 at 22:55

Brought in Newman for Smithy,he will be my emergency, with Otten, Marchbank and Hampton on the field and Stewart sitting on the bench till someone else comes along.

      hedski · 13/04/2017 at 23:09

      Missed 80 points

        John James · 14/04/2017 at 01:21

Just brought him in for the cash so not to worried.

Dan · 13/04/2017 at 17:00

Who to trade in out of Preuss, Swallow and Witts?

    Youngy · 13/04/2017 at 17:06

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 18:45

Preuss, cheapest and best cash gen.

Bock Choy · 13/04/2017 at 17:00

Trades done early to cover injuries.

I traded Gawn (Martin) and Smith (Newman) this week. Martin is slightly cheaper ($10k), has a slightly higher average in 2017 and has the runs on the board over a few seasons. Grundy is a good chance to breakout this year but at this stage, not taking the risk.

Smith to Newman is obvious.

I kept Caddy safe (this week). His 3 scores have been 73 (sub-par), 92 (par) and 35 (putrid). I had him in as a mid pricer who would either grow into a premo or remain as a stepping stone for an upgrade. I'll see how he goes – he is the first candidate on the stepping stone block (as I expect JOM, Sandi and Rough to rise in value).

I'm pleased my choices on trades matched Lekdog's advice. Martin is slightly cheaper ($10k), has a slightly higher average in 2017 and has the runs on the board over a few seasons. Grundy is a good chance to breakout this year but at this stage, not taking the risk.

dwhits · 13/04/2017 at 17:04

Hibberd > Newman

BANG BANG, and happy easter community

      I like it a lot.

Cold_Case · 13/04/2017 at 17:14

Hibberd to newman. I want Swallow. Got JOM, Eddy,Taranto and Pickett. Just dont wanna trade any cause i just feel they will produce at some point. It's tough out there. Might see who isnt named.

Gogz · 13/04/2017 at 17:23

JOM and Caddyshack to Murphy and Hayward banks me 200k for a big forward line upgrade next week!

Neverweaken · 13/04/2017 at 17:35

For everyone thinking JOM to swallow I don't recommend it. I started with both so accepted some risk. Only trading out JOM for Newman or premium or I wouldn't be trading him this week. Would not trade in swallow as he could be JOM mark 2 in a couple of weeks. There will be other rookies that will make that 150 k after only outlaying 125 k

    Cold_Case · 13/04/2017 at 17:47

Well said. If swallow starts pumping out o'meara like scores he will end up the same price

    CoachDamo · 13/04/2017 at 17:53

I agree – Swallow is tempting. Great if you started with him but not worth bring in for O'Meara. JOM could pump out 120 on Monday, Swallow could get injured any week now.

    sddd · 13/04/2017 at 18:53

How is swallow not worth it, he will be worth more than JOM next week and will still have a lower BE. We dont need him to play 22 games just enough to make some dosh which as was expected by many he seems to be doing

      Pman · 13/04/2017 at 20:44

Agree 100% and JOM is now out injured. He has to go and for me will be a straight swap to Swallow.

Hitch · 13/04/2017 at 17:36

Hibberd to newman and J.Steele to Reiwoldt.. i feel like i shouldnt trade steele out but its like i got caught up in the popularity of the boy, he's not going to average over 80 or make much money so maybe a shift to st nick is the go??? Thoughts?

ben andrews · 13/04/2017 at 17:41

what does everyone think about Zac Touhy for Jake Lloyd??

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 17:44

about as sideways as you can get

      Cold_Case · 13/04/2017 at 17:49

Yep. Can you wait for a couple of premos to drop in price? Touhy wont lose that much cash

DavidSA · 13/04/2017 at 17:47

JOM down to Fox
Taranto down to Newman

Got 472k in bank now will ride this round out for a double premo upgrade via Marchbank and McGrath

Players like Shaw Simpson and Parker Hannebery are welcome

Martin · 13/04/2017 at 17:51

Gawn to nank and omeara to jake Lloyd

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 18:19

    Do the trades quick

Nathaniel · 13/04/2017 at 17:54

Back: Doch, Laird, Howe, Jones, Otten, Marchbank (Hampton, Stewart)
Mid: Selwood, Oliver, Fyfe, Titch, Beams, Treloar, SPP, O'Meara (Parfitt, Barrett, Pickett)
Ruck: Nank, Sandilands (Strndica)
Fwd: Dahl, Macrae, Hoskin-Eliiott, Steele, Roughead, Butler (Taranto, Eddy)

Used both trades after round 1 and 2.
I wasn't going to use any this round but all the talk about Newman and Swallow makes me feel like i'll be missing out on something!
Any suggestions?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 17:59

O''meara for Swallow and Stewart out for Newman maybe

    DavidSA · 13/04/2017 at 18:00

Feel like Swallow is getting hyped up too much
Injury prone GC wont win many games and will get pumped some more down the track so hard for him to put out premium scores. In the end might make you 180-200k then waste another trade on him.

    Newman is a solid in
Others like Fox and Broomhead are good options too for more cash gen

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 18:18

    Newman yes

    Swallow no

      Nathaniel · 13/04/2017 at 18:19

Is Stewart for Newman the way to go about it?

Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:04

Yeah, I wasn't sold on Swallow. Better getting WHE if you haven't got him or simply downgrading JOM and pocketing the cash. I agree with David. Swallow can be too injury prone.

      Captain Risky · 13/04/2017 at 18:54

I wouldn't be surprised if Prestia is given a rest this week as well, just gut feeling. Although not that many would have him in SC teams..

      Same with NRoo

Lazza · 13/04/2017 at 18:22

    DavidSA · 13/04/2017 at 18:24

for peeps with both issues fix Gawn first and still get Newman in use the bench to cover JOM this round

Liam · 13/04/2017 at 18:28

Sam Powell-Pepper or Sam Petrevski-Seton on field ?

Leaning towards SPS as he is starting to get into it after having a limited pre season, but still undecided.

Cheers Liam

    Dasha · 13/04/2017 at 18:46

ive got the same dilema, if you have barret could use emerg loophole as hes not playing and all their game times make thi possible

Gerrod · 13/04/2017 at 18:28

Mark Murphy or Ollie Wines

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:34

Probably Murphy. Has a good averages against he's next few opponents.

    Tibor · 13/04/2017 at 18:44

Murphy is about to cop the tag that Simpson has worn for the past two weeks. Murphy is not a top ten mid once opposition decide to cover him

Ollie is great but I'd wait until after he has the early bye following the China game

hedski · 13/04/2017 at 18:34

Barrett out too 🙁

Kenna · 13/04/2017 at 18:36

Do we get Robbie fox while Barrett and omeara out?

Tibor · 13/04/2017 at 18:40

JOM and max out.

Nankilands ruck

Preuss on for ruck cover on the bench and as cash generator.

Use of gained $$$$ to upgrade JOM to dusty

A few other rookie issues such as Taranto, Pickett Joel smith will have to wait, would have loved to go from Smith to Newman but need to cut Max and JOM is hardly worth carrying when he's playing let alone injured,

Any better ideas

    Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 18:43

I personally would hold JOM as he is only out for probably a week. You can trade him then if necessary. Newman is a cash gen opportunity not to be missed.

    Northernsoul74 · 13/04/2017 at 18:53

Getting Newman in for Smith more of a priority than trading JOM this week.

Finnius · 13/04/2017 at 18:40

Will JOM only be out for one week?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:51

I'd be moving him out regardless. Bring in a rookie and pocket the cash.

    whatyasmokin · 13/04/2017 at 20:07

    My crystall ball says……

DacZawson · 13/04/2017 at 18:41

People's thoughts on Barrett —> Fox?
Waste of a trade? Have no other issues.

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:47

    I'd hold off.

uDonkey · 13/04/2017 at 18:44

Don't see;

Stewart, Parfitt and Preuss in Team line up. Have they been drop?

Omeara, Barrett, Eddy and Miles have been drop.

    uDonkey · 13/04/2017 at 18:46

    Nvm. Saw Stewart and Parfitt.

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:46

    Parfitt is in

      uDonkey · 13/04/2017 at 18:51

Lol. Didn't have glasses on when i first looked. Now i see them Preuss, Stewart and Parfitt.

SF4 · 13/04/2017 at 18:46

Hold JOM?
My backup will be Pickett, everything was going well until now.

Top hawk · 13/04/2017 at 18:47

Bloody Jake Barrett, and Brett Eddy both out! I still have Hibberd as well. The fact that three rooks are now not generating any cash is now a significant concern. I am now considering using my second trade and moving Hibberd to the paddock. I do not want to lose cash generation momentum. I have traded in Newman for Smith. Hibberd for Fox? Or go early and take a punt on Tom Williamson or even Harley Balic?
What are others thinking?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:50

Hibberd for Fox if your're going that route

    Northernsoul74 · 13/04/2017 at 18:51

Prefer Williamson to Fox personally but as always it would be better to have another look at him. Not convinced Fox will stay in the team.

      Top hawk · 13/04/2017 at 19:02

I like Williamson too. Problem is that my backline would then have 3 Adelaide and 3 Carlton players. Despite Carlton having the bye in round 11 and Adelaide in round 13, it is still going to put trading pressure on my backline as we approach the byes. I am sitting here having a rookie panic attack. ;-0

Trader · 13/04/2017 at 18:47

Barrett omitted? Keep or trade?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:48

    Keep. He'll be back.

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 18:50

Stupid Coach · 13/04/2017 at 18:49

Happy Easter Community. Nothing like a Thursday night game to bring extra panic.

Thinking of trading Gawn to S Martin or Grundy and then Hibberd Jnr to Newman (would need to do this before 8.10 pm tonight) and trade JOM next week if he doesnt come back.

Appreciate any advice/feedback.

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:55

Martin is a proven scorer and Grundy is having a good start to the year. Personally I'd go Martin. Hibberd to Newman is a go as well.

simon haines · 13/04/2017 at 18:50

who should i go with Cotchin or Wines?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:53

Neither. I'd see how Wines is going before the bye and China game.

    Tibor · 13/04/2017 at 19:02

Hold off on wines until after the early bye.

Nothing wrong with cotch he looks great

    TigerMan · 13/04/2017 at 19:18

Id go Wines. low breakeven of 66. Absolute Gun. He will be a top ten mid this year 125, 145 and 122 in his last Three!

      TigerMan · 13/04/2017 at 19:19

He will be over $600k by next week

Jim · 13/04/2017 at 18:54

Taranto to Preuss?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:57

Do you need the ruck cover?

      Jim · 13/04/2017 at 18:59

Thinking of having him as R2 until his bye?

Imgonnalose · 13/04/2017 at 18:54

I'm gonna get in either Hayward or Fox, most probably fox
Do I get rid of Eddy or Hibberd? I'm thinking hibberd

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 18:57

Either or…. Hibbered at this point though as at least Eddy might be back for a bit more cash growth

Iconic · 13/04/2017 at 18:58

Option 1: M. Gawn >> S. Martin

Option 2: M. Gawn >> M. Bontempelli (via Nankervis)

Bearing in mind #2 leaves me with no cover for Sandilands, however is the higher points accumulated (in theory) by Bontempelli a greater asset?

    Iconic · 13/04/2017 at 18:59

In both cases there will be 3 rookies on the field too, it is just a matter of where. Eg. #2 leaves me with 3 in forward line, with no cover due to Eddy being dropped as well as S. Higgins in there too

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 19:00

    I'd go Martin

Rob · 13/04/2017 at 18:58

Trade in Hayward or Fox or wait on Williamson, Berry, Balic next week?

Imgonnalose · 13/04/2017 at 18:59

What do we reckon, will Fox stay in the team?

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 19:28

Heeney will be back next week

      Imgonnalose · 13/04/2017 at 19:44

      Will Heeney take Fox's spot?

lewyhewy · 13/04/2017 at 19:04

I traded JOM to patrick cripps. unique pod in my opinion, thoughts?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 19:08

Bit risky. Especially with his recent injury. Could go Murphy is you wanted a POD.

      DacZawson · 13/04/2017 at 19:10

      Murphy isn't a POD anymore

    Tibor · 13/04/2017 at 20:00

Great trading. Cripps is a star and just getting better. He doesn't have any injury from the smack Lewis gave him. That was exaggerated massively to get Lewis a stronger mrp penalty. Both Cripps and Rowe played out the game, did no concussion testing and played the following week, injured my clacker,

I reckon Cripps is a better option than Murph because the tag is headed back from Simpson to Murph. Murph is the best one to tag because it drops his output massively not so Cripps who is more first possession And Cripps really will be a pod now so many have jumped on Murph

Sully321 · 13/04/2017 at 19:07

TigerMan · 13/04/2017 at 19:13

Hey Community just wondering who I should play for M8 spot out of….. Houston (Ave:73) vs GWS or Parfitt (Ave:59) vs HAWKS or Taranto (Ave:56) vs PORT ?? Leaning towards Houston but it could be any of them that scores the best

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 19:18

Houston, going off current avg. You can't tell who's going to have a massive one but Houston is a proven scorer so he's the safe bet.

    whatyasmokin · 13/04/2017 at 20:05

Doubt it will be houston this week but who knows

Kim · 13/04/2017 at 19:13

Omeara is out with a knock to the knee according to team line-ups. Traded him to swallow before I saw that anyway, even more sold on that move now!

    Derek · 13/04/2017 at 19:27

Gold Coast won't get to play Hawthorn every week;)

Jordan · 13/04/2017 at 19:16

Should I trade Goldstein for the Nank?

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 19:17

Goldy out for Grundy, Sandy, Nank, Witts or Stefen. Can't go wrong but Nank should make even more coin for ya

Conan_the_Westy · 13/04/2017 at 19:18

My trades for Rnds 3 & 4:
Rnd 3
Mitchell Hibberd & Jackson Thurlow to Andrew McGrath & Dan Butler
Rnd 4
Jack Bowes & Tom Stewart to David Swallow & Nic Newman

Craig · 13/04/2017 at 19:25

What do I do with caddy?
I could wait and see if he does well against Brisbane because and if he doesn't I can trade him out next week with full confidence or I could trade him this week but am unsure who to get in.
I was thinking either Kennedy or Greene.

Thomas · 13/04/2017 at 19:26

Thoughts on trading Stewart instead of Hibberd for loophole purposes or keep Stewart for the small amount of cash he will make? I feel like it is too hard to pick between Otten, Hampton and Newman, so a loophole will come in handy.

    Nic Newman · 13/04/2017 at 19:31

Only trade out an underperforming rookie to bring in one that will make more money.

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 19:38

    Stewart could score 80, hibberd…meh.

      whatyasmokin · 13/04/2017 at 20:04

Think people have forgotten how tough it is this year making cash off rookies.

    John James · 13/04/2017 at 22:39

I traded Smithy for Newman,no reason to keep a non playing player, get rid of Hibberd he is not making you any cash,I have Otten and Hampton on the field for me with Newman as emergency and Stewart siting on the bench till someone else comes along.

Jesus · 13/04/2017 at 19:27

Start Newman or Hampton?

    ben andrews · 13/04/2017 at 19:28

I would go Hampton, he played more midfield last week and should score well against the dons

      Jesus · 13/04/2017 at 19:34

Cheers Ben, that's the way I was leaning. His scores have been building, is always around the pill and loves to tackle.

    haiku bob · 13/04/2017 at 19:30

Good question. Same quandary. No idea.

    Jay · 13/04/2017 at 19:35

Go with avg in this case. I'd go Newman

    Millsy · 13/04/2017 at 19:36

    I'm starting Newman over Hampton.

    Campbell · 13/04/2017 at 19:39

      haiku bob · 13/04/2017 at 19:58

Made a snap decision to cull M'bank for Newman and raise some cash. Use Hibberd as DPP.

        BlakeyP · 13/04/2017 at 20:03

Bad trade pal March had a bad game in the wet will bounce back and at least he making money. Hibberd is taking up space and making stuff all trade him to Newman

        whatyasmokin · 13/04/2017 at 20:03

        Rookie move.

Millsy · 13/04/2017 at 19:32

Had been 50/50 on trading JOM out, but not being named this week makes up my mind. JOM out, SPS onto field, Taranto to mid bench, Nank to fwd, Witts into ruck.

hedski · 13/04/2017 at 19:43

God I hate easter, gonna have to take the rug rats to the dentist in a months time.
On a good note 4 days off work to watch footy and drink beer, 18 holes in the morning.
VC on Parker think he'll kill it tonight.
Slippery couple bucks on Cripps and K.Jack for first goal tonight.
Good luck for the weekend y'all.

Imgonnalose · 13/04/2017 at 19:49

Who's spot do you think Heeney will take Next Week?

    Wal · 13/04/2017 at 19:55

    Fox or Florent

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 23:32

dwhits · 13/04/2017 at 19:50

With O'Meara out, I'm just going to park him on the bench and play Parfitt on the field (fingers crossed he doesn't get dropped, named fwd pocket though)

I'll try and have a faith in the lad and hopefully he manages to somehow get to 400k before I part ways with him.

No mid bench cover this round, risk it for the biscuit…

    Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:15

Not a bad move mate, considering doing the exact same. Do you have any trades left or any cash in the bank?

      dwhits · 13/04/2017 at 23:29

My 2 trades used were Hibberd to Newman & Ryder to Stef Martin.

$7300 in the kitty but will be seeing what I do with Meara next week. Possible downgrade for cash.

        Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:53

good moves. Yeah i literally have about the same. So you reckon maybe keep omeara till next week and see to bring in balic, berry or so? The only thing worrying me about that is not enough good midfield rookies right now. Would you have considered trading him to d swallow if you had one more trade this week?

Tommo09 · 13/04/2017 at 19:55

Parfitt, Barrett or Pickett on field for O'Meara?

    Wal · 13/04/2017 at 19:57

Barrett got dropped, I'd actually go for Picket as silly as it sounds

      Tommo09 · 13/04/2017 at 20:02

      Oh sorry about that
      Didn't see it

DefyingMadness · 13/04/2017 at 20:01

Newman or Hampton on field?

Nathaniel · 13/04/2017 at 20:04

Should I bring in Newman if my backline is Doc, Laird, Howe, Jones, Marchbank, Otten (Hampton, Stewart)

    Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:17

Yes, im thinking newman is a must if you have the trades

Ben · 13/04/2017 at 20:32

What should we do with JOM if we have no cash to upgrade? Is swallow a decent option or trade down to a forward rookie or mid rookie via dpp? please help lads

    Danners · 13/04/2017 at 21:02

Swallow is a good option. If you need cash, maybe go a forward rookie

      Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:09

besides hayward, the only real option i see is houston… who already went up about $50,000. what do you suggest danners?

Mike · 13/04/2017 at 20:37

DavidSA · 13/04/2017 at 20:56

Who will wanna trade dangleberry now lol
19 sc 8 mins into 2nd qtr

uDonkey · 13/04/2017 at 21:20

Seen enough Hanners is gone next week. Should've pulled the last week on him for Bont. Now I've lost a lot of cash and points on him.

hedski · 13/04/2017 at 21:32

Yo yo top scorer half time 80 odd, both the jks 70ish, Parker breathing down their neck in the 60's.
Shuey, Pridda, Llyod, Jones 50s, Hannas and Newman in the 30's. Buddy 26, Mills 21, Fox 25, Hayward 10.

    Don't Blush Baby · 13/04/2017 at 21:50

I had Yeo from the start, maybe a breakout year?? , thought he wouldn't do much more with BE of 76 , so I upgraded him to the Bont ! time will tell ,GRR ?

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 13/04/2017 at 21:58

      Thanks mate 🙂

      hedski · 13/04/2017 at 22:19

Ha ha, bit early for sideways DBB, better hope the Bont gets 3 kicks to match yo yos 130…

TRIGGER HAPPY · 13/04/2017 at 21:40

Are hanners and Jack playing tonight?

it's the Josh Kennedy show in Perth.

Pman · 13/04/2017 at 21:49

Marchbank with 56 last week and Hampton got his best score of 84 but Marchbank has a higher average. Have to bench one of them but can't decide who. Any thoughts?

    John James · 13/04/2017 at 22:28

I have both on the field, but if I had to chose I would bench Marchbank

DavidSA · 13/04/2017 at 21:51

only Parker and JPK on target to ton up for Sydney.

    hedski · 13/04/2017 at 22:15

    Yep its all eagles.

Josh · 13/04/2017 at 23:05

Shaw to Newman
OMeara to Murphy
Next week Marchbank to Adams

    Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:11

terrible. Why are you trading a premo to a rookie? Murphy also is not a good pick up now that he has risen so much in price

      Josh · 13/04/2017 at 23:38

Think about it. Shaw is going to purge cash Murphy has breakeven of 6 and avg 140 OMeara not going to finish in top mids. I now have 7 premo mids and will have Adams next round. Creative cash generation. Everyone gets Swallow and waits 10 rounds to trade him to a premo good on em.

        Ben · 13/04/2017 at 23:43

But its also needless trading. By the end youll need shaw in your defense anyways. Murphy is still a risk, he wont average 140 the whole season by any means. What does the rest of your team look like?

          Josh · 13/04/2017 at 23:53

Shaw can come back in when he bottoms out for one of the Adelaide rookies down back. Not going to sit idly by and drop rank with OMeara. Shaw not pulling his weight I don't really have any other problems at the moment. It's a race to premium is it not? I have 290k in bank
          Shaw = Newman
          OMeara = Murphy
          Marxhbank = Adams
currently underperforming premo, mid pricer risk with knee issues and Marchbank breakeven quickly catching up to him into 2 premos and a rookie. Only cost 3 trades

Laird Howe and Rookies down back, 7 premo mids and 4 rookies
mid price rucks and Pruessy. JPK Franklin Dahlhaus and Rookies uo fwd avg 2200 points – need to increase that. Aggressive is the way to go

        Pman · 13/04/2017 at 23:57

Trading a Premo like Shaw for a rookie is pure loco! The idea is to fill your team with Premo's as quickly as possible not get rid of them after 3 games. Murphy is having a purple patch but there is no way he's a top 10 Mindfielder at seasons end so that is another wasted trade IMO.

          Josh · 16/04/2017 at 03:46

          Shaw 79 – Newman 80
          Murphy 125 – JOM = 0
Adams = premo defender with my Shaw $$$ not everyone has 500k to spend don't pick wrong premos Pieman not easy to pick Rd 3

uDonkey · 14/04/2017 at 06:33

Woke up from a dream just now. I dreamt Hanners ended the season top 15 and tonned up as I stop watching the game last night after half time, and Crouch ended up top 5 mid at the end season. Quickly logged in Supercoach and Hanners scored 95 looks like I'll be keeping him after all maybe a good M7 or M8.
And hopefully the supercoach Gods are kind and make my dream come true for Crouch to be a top 10 mid by end of season.

Bells E Bubb · 14/04/2017 at 11:42

JOM to McCluggage?? Whaddya reckon.
Bit worried by the knee…surely McClovin has to play a lot of games this year…

    Bells E Bubb · 14/04/2017 at 11:47

Maybe I just play Barret onfield this week and see how McCluggage goes again. If he looks good do that trade next week…
Any other suggestions? Already have Swallow.
