CoachKings Preview: Sydney v Collingwood
It’s the battle of the 0-2 teams
..someone is going to finally come away with the WIN this week and if you head down to your local to play CoachKings, you too could walk away with a tick in the win column.
I’ll be rolling with the following 9 man team into the game this week.
Lance Franklin | FWD | $14,400
Buddy is playing in his 250th this week, and we’ll be hoping for a big game from him because of it. The Pies are short for quality tall defenders down back and Buddy knocked up a score of 127 last week. He’s your perfect rev up candidate at half time too, if he catches on fire in the 2nd half, he could score you some BIG points.
Scott Pendlebury | MID | $15,900
The Pies haven’t won a game yet, but you can’t fault their midfield, which has been humming along beautifully so far. Pendles costs some big bucks, but the Swans midfielders such as JPK, Parker and Hannebery have been a bit down on form so far this year, so it makes sense to go with the in form man here.
Brodie Grundy | RUC | $15,050
The Swans will be without Tippett this week, which means Grundy will be going up against some lesser opponents this week. Unless you have great faith in a Naismith or such to put up a good score, I imagine a lot of people will be going for Grundy as their ruck option. Expensive, but the best chance to score points.
Will Hoskin-Elliot | FWD| $8,250
He scored 124 CKPoints last week and only costs $8,250, which is a bargain in anyone’s language if he can replicate that again here. You certainly won’t find this sort of value elsewhere in the forward line, with the likes of Darcy Moore (46 CKPoints last week) sitting at around the same price. Hoskin-Elliot has been a great pick so far in any format, so let’s hope he can keep it up for the 3rd week in a row.
So that’s my side, but is there anyone else you’ll be plugging into your CoachKings side for this game?
