Nick roo for Jack Steele bank 250k and if turns to shit have cash for trade

Or roo to jjk and leave him there

Either gonna make or break me

    Matt · 30/03/2017 at 14:12

Silly, don't go proven premium to break out contender, stick to your structures

      Ledge N Dairy · 30/03/2017 at 15:03

      JJK Is so unreliable tho

        Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 16:01

Week by week he fluctuates a lot, but over the course of a season he regularly averages 90+ . So if you're going to get on him you may as well do it as early as possible.

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 14:41

If you believe in Steele as an option as I do then go for it. There was nothing we saw in Rd1 to discourage the view that many coaches had of him by time the JLT concluded and chose to start him. Of course it's a risk but given the cash generation issues we appear to have with the 2017 rookie class we need to seek out value wherever we can.

Then you can apply those hefty savings to patch up holes elsewhere in your side and potentially jump on some of those more expensive cash cows next week. So it gets the green tick from me. Structures don't count for much if you are fielding a bunch of spud rookies.

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:08

    I'd go to steele

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 16:47

The big issue I see with Steele is that he's only played 18 games. With such limited experience I think it's totally unrealistic to expect him to maintain premium output, therefore you'll be just trading in a player who is going to need to be upgraded later. Steele is the type of player you either start with or avoid altogether.

      Swans2012 · 30/03/2017 at 18:47

For me he's the type of player you start with or wish you had, unless he cops a significant role change can't see him averaging less than 90, but as I've said many times I'm an optimist.

        Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 19:47

He would be doing extremely well to average 90 by the end of the year, would require him in increase his average by 27 points. How many 20-40 gamers increase their average by that much and/or are capable of averaging 90 for a season? Not many I bet. I think an 80ish average is much more realistic.

        But I've been wrong before.

          Swans2012 · 30/03/2017 at 21:07

Very true, although I don't think he got a fair crack in the middle at his previous home, so his previous average while still relevant is not as relevant, especially with the saints seemingly letting him do what he's good at…. also gotta remember he's been in the system for a couple of years now, just hasn't had the opportunity, anyway good luck! I wish bloody cd would fix the scoring glitch!

            Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 21:10

A certain paige on fb has accurate updates each quarter if you need to check something

              Swans2012 · 30/03/2017 at 21:21

              Ripper thanks, onto it

Dylan · 30/03/2017 at 13:52

Nick Riewoldt for Elliot Yeo is it worth a look at? Yeo went big last week and will help me make money to trade out Smith if I don't have enough rookies in defence to play this weekend

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:09

Dylan. Before you ruin your season I suggest you do some research into Yeo the Yo Yo man. He is up & down & generally useless as a long term SC option. If your trading NRoo trade him to another premo
    http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pu-west-coast-

    Yeo
    Year Games Average
    2012 8 58.0
    2013 19 61.9
    2014 13 65.5
    2015 21 82.1
    2016 19 75.2
    2017 1 139.0

That is not how you replace your F1

      dan · 30/03/2017 at 15:08

      that 2017 avg doe

        John Smith · 30/03/2017 at 15:34

        simply staggering

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:08

    Premium, rookie or steele

    Rocksta · 30/03/2017 at 17:56

    You're kiddin yourself.
Yeo is in the top 5 burnmen category.
If you trade out Roo, you bring in another premium full stop!

      Randomcliche2 · 31/03/2017 at 00:25

I got the scar to prove it.

Jacob · 30/03/2017 at 13:53

Can anyone give me some thoughts?
Gotta trade Riewoldt and I'm looking at going either JJK, Buddy or higgins? Leaning toward Higgins because of his % owned!

    Patch · 30/03/2017 at 14:38

Would go Buddy, Jacob – will be more consistent and has a good run coming up

    Cash is boss. · 30/03/2017 at 22:01

Snag Higgins mate will be top 6 forward this year with his mid role safe as houses at a bargain price.

Crippler · 30/03/2017 at 13:53

I know the accepted wisdom is to wait until round three before pulling the trigger. However, with Joel Smith confirmed out for months and possibly needing to make more than one correctional trade next week i've gone;

Joel Smith OUT
Dan Butler IN

(through some DPP movements)

    Finnius123 · 30/03/2017 at 14:43

Try Hannan instead of Butler if you are going to. Will probably be more consistent.

    Kev · 30/03/2017 at 14:45

If you haven't got Hannan, Crippler, he's the better option imo

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:10

    Agree. They love Hannan

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 19:51

Did the same thing, can't see Butler being dropped before his 3rd game. Only real risk is injury, I'm prepared to roll that dice.

Darren · 30/03/2017 at 13:54

What about St Nick for Touk Miller???

    Casey · 30/03/2017 at 14:04

i like this, Touk is looking on fire, i think its a consider

      Finnius123 · 30/03/2017 at 14:44

      Risky

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:11

    Maybe. Risky

Zoomer · 30/03/2017 at 13:54

Trading out Rooey Riewoldt – tossing up between J Macrae or Touk Touk Miller. Doggies under the roof against a depleted Swans are tasty, while Touk is only $428k and set to get more mid time minus Hanley… thoughts?

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:28

Macrae every day of the week. He's proven. And Hanley will be back in 2 weeks

    Blackie White · 30/03/2017 at 14:33

Touk goes well, though needs high possessions to score well as only a career 61% DE. Looks like he will get plenty of the ball though. You'll need to cover his Rd 9 bye, most likely with weak Rookie coverage.
I'm prob Higgins instead, excluding his injury risk, has similar role, but better DE & bye than Touk.
A lot depends on your teams injury risk profile and whether you're comfortable with that risk.

Martin · 30/03/2017 at 13:55

do i go Joel smith/ hibberd to mcgrath – option 1 (thinking hibberd so I can rookie loophole joel smith)
or taranto to hannan/Houston/butler and the Hibberd/Joel smitht up to zak jones

    Kev · 30/03/2017 at 14:50

McGrath did absolutely nothing in JLT. Unless he was assured of a round one game he wouldn't have been going at half pace. Reluctant to jump on.

Prefer option two. Though it won't hurt waiting a week

      Phil · 30/03/2017 at 17:25

Hello Kev, to say McGrath did nothing in the JLT is true in a SC sense, but he did play lockdown….and actually played quite well, hence why he was selected Round 1.
In Round 1 he got let loose and showed a lot of pace and good disposal. Now, Hawthorn possibly have the best 3 small forwards (collectively, not individually) in the competition, so if he didn't play lock down against them I can't see it happening. Add to that, Mark Baguley plays that role. Furthermore, they have just lost Michael Hibberd who was ther best rebounder up until last year and last years run and dash from McDonald Tippawuti is now in the forward line.
I see McGrath averaging very well for the season, but not as much as Marchbank.

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:12

All options OK. I'm gonna bring in McGrath and Hannan. Will which Jones again to assess role.

The Magpie Dentist · 30/03/2017 at 13:56

Only potential trade is Joel Smith to Hannan or Butler via DPP swap. How long should I stick with KK?

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:25

I'd give KK 6 weeks then reassess

Flanno · 30/03/2017 at 13:56

Roughy down to Hoskin Elliot

Nic Newman/Vickers up to marchbank

Was hoping to keep roughy for the year but missing out on marchbank may put me behind in points and cash generation while hoskin elliot will make cash and hopefully average not too far behind roughy

    JTread · 30/03/2017 at 14:02

why trade roughhead? and starting newman and EVW

      Traders · 30/03/2017 at 14:13

I was just going to say the same thing? Fought possible keeper it was his first game back in over a yr.

        Traders · 30/03/2017 at 14:13

        Fought*

          Traders · 30/03/2017 at 14:14

          Roughy*

    Juzzy · 30/03/2017 at 15:23

Watch the team sheets. EVW a good chance to get named and Newman an outside chance. Does seem you may be jumping the gun.

    nope · 30/03/2017 at 22:02

    nope

jimmy_raiders · 30/03/2017 at 14:00

Last Wednesday night I swapped Dusty for Cripps and boy did I pay for it. So this week trading Cripps back to Dusty even though it's a sideways trade, I need to maintain my sanity….

    Casey · 30/03/2017 at 14:06

damn thats a very nice trade lol, keep it up aha

    Jamie · 30/03/2017 at 14:48

Watch Dusty have a stinker tonight, Cripps will score 120+ πŸ˜‰

    Happy Hippie · 30/03/2017 at 22:03

yeah mate lets not forget to have fun and enjoy ourselves.

    Randomcliche2 · 31/03/2017 at 00:31

    Sleep soundly.

Tom · 30/03/2017 at 14:00

Holding McCarthy, Hibberd and Pickett for 1 more week if I can hold my nerve. Feel I may need to jump on Hannan up forward but where are all the good rookie defenders?

    Casey · 30/03/2017 at 14:07

all the good Defender rooks are at 200k + mark, Marchbank, McGrath and Harrison Marsh

      Tom · 30/03/2017 at 14:16

Have Marchbank and if the scores this week follow last week's may go McCarthy+Hibberd->Hannan+McGrath. Or not, not keen on McGrath's js

    Leeds17 · 30/03/2017 at 17:00

I think McCarthy will be fine looked much better when he started to roam late in the game.

    Shake n bake · 30/03/2017 at 17:33

    Newman to play this week

abdul · 30/03/2017 at 14:01

started the season with 6 premo fwds & 2 premo defenders + z.jones …….looks like the defender rookies have let me down big time and if i dont fix it now then it could be the end of my SC year …so the plan is to trade out one of my premo fwds …Lynch has copped the chop only because of his rd 9 bye and joining him will be the injured Joel smith …coming in will be WHE and marchbank to bring half decent scores aswell as being able to generate cash , which then gives me an extra $200k which will be spent on 2 more cash cows next week most likely A.McGrath & H.Marsh , which will then stabilize my defence and my entire team ….

    Traders · 30/03/2017 at 14:08

    I wouldn't trade out lynch….premo fwd….equals big mistake

      abdul · 30/03/2017 at 14:16

i have 6 premo fwds ………i am lacking in defence ……..dont want to see anymore 23,44,46 scores in my defence ever again lol
by trading out 1 premo fwd and 3 rookie defenders i am receiving in return 4 decent cash cows that can all average 70-80+ and guaranteed job security …sometimes the coach has to make the bold moves πŸ™‚

    Juzzy · 30/03/2017 at 15:32

Know where you're coming from but that move has the potential to eat up almost a third of your trades in the long run. Have you thought about bringing in a premo defender for lynch via dpp?

      abdul · 30/03/2017 at 17:08

Juzzy…im $3k short on bringing in Adams ..( i hate when that happens lol) …., i can however get JJ but i really want my remaining 4 defensive premos to be the best 4 eventually , adams, simpson, shaw & Docherty … and even if i brought in adams then i wont be able to get WHE and ill be getting 1 of Hannan or Butler and im not too confident in either of them playing 7 games strait …so i got stuck with marchbank & WHE for now and hopefully they will generate enough cash and give me decent scores at the same time

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:15

Do what you need to do to balance your team. Cash generation may be more important than trades if you've missed the best rooks

      abdul · 30/03/2017 at 17:09

yes Abel ..thats how i see it at the moment aswell

    Randomcliche2 · 31/03/2017 at 00:36

Well that is some quantum team plumbing. I hope your season doesn't go down the toilet….Marchy and Mr 120 WHE appear good picks in isolation….but as someone who runs out of trades it's still a little OTT.

Rivo · 30/03/2017 at 14:05

Hold this week, as if looks like Swallow will play. J.Smith donut can stay on the bench. Might swing in Berry if named next week as a DPP swing with Hibberd.

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:21

    Swallow is a confirmed starter

BadSupercoacher · 30/03/2017 at 14:09

Thinking of getting rid of Joel Smith and Callan ward for McGrath and Gaff or someone like Gaff
Thoughts?

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:20

Hold fire. You don't trade Ward

Docker4life · 30/03/2017 at 14:10

Smith, Tarranto out for Hannon and Marchbank

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 14:51

Marchbank is definitely worth getting in either this week or next but I would probably give Taranto another go against the Suns, assuming he isn't dropped of course. Heaps of Giants flopped last weekend including many of their stars but you will be hating yourself if he has a good performance this weekend particularly if Hannan then does a disappearing act on Sunday.

If Taranto does get dropped tonight then by all means pull the trigger on those trades right away.

    Abel · 30/03/2017 at 16:16

Only if you're gonna trade next week too. If not best to wait.

Micky_B · 30/03/2017 at 14:13

I have rooey and smith, worth using my trades this week or wating to see some more games until nest weekand potentially hold rooey? With some dpp i can have witts on for riewoldt and smith on the bench.

30 trades run out quickly so not sure what to do. Thinking of wating a week to see the rookies again for smith and hopefully riewoldt is back in 1-2

    Seeker · 30/03/2017 at 14:47

Roo won't be back in 1-2. Split Synovial capsule which sits around and protects the knee joint. Leaking synovial fluid might cause the surrounding knee to develop scar tissue and also general, painful synovitis which could lead to arthritic reactions. So even though it is Roo, at his age I'd suggest the club will take a cautious approach to avoid surgery and give him 3-6 weeks to heal.

I'm not a doc by the way, just did a heap of research last night (I have him too)

      Spencer · 30/03/2017 at 16:55

      I like your thoroughness here

    Lazza · 30/03/2017 at 16:57

two considerations … move this week in case you have more forced changes to make due to injuries that might occur in R2, you could end up snookered if you need 3 changes next week.
Or, wait till next week to ensure you are selecting the right rookies based on 2 rounds of scoring.

    Both have risk.

TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 14:16

Posted this one on earlier but as this is the avenue will post again:

Very tempted to trade hannas to Gawn. I went deep in the mids light up fwd, and Ryder R1.
I have SPP at M9.
Gawn trade would bring SPP on the ground at M8 which most teams have anyway, Ryder into Fwd line so relying on 1 less rook up Fwd and Gawn at R1.
I know you r not meant to trade Rd 1 but this is very good structurally I feel. Strengthens the fwd line, Ruck and puts a guy on the ground at M8 who most have there anyway?
Downside besides using a trade?

will watch butler tonight if he goes ok and looks like generating some good cash may need to pull the trigger on Hannas tomorrow as will need 2 trades for corrective rookie trades next week.

    Finnius123 · 30/03/2017 at 14:38

I like it. Risky but I think you got your structure wrong to start with so it is a hell of a lot better to correct it now than in 6 weeks time when SPP is averaging 75 and hanners pulls out with his knee. It is only one trade and without the doubt about Gawn and and Spencer Gawn is going to be gun this year.

I am considering something similar except getting rid of Roo. I will swing nankdaddy into the forward lines and bring in Gawn at R1. In order to do this I need to go Taranto for Hannan, but I think that this was always going to be inevitable as Hannan is 100k cheaper and will therefore make much more dosh. Furthermore I already have an upgrade in that I have the number one ruck in the comp, as well as now having back up for sandi in the forward line which I previously didn't.

I will try to make as little trades next week as possible, as I am pretty happy with my rookie structure other than this.

    Affa's Mob · 30/03/2017 at 16:28

I'd never trade premo…. however that looks to be a great move. Do it now

    Moustachio · 30/03/2017 at 17:27

Do not trade out Hanners. Gawn carrying back issue, could be the one to spud it this week.

    Shake n bake · 30/03/2017 at 18:53

Just reversed my trade Trigg. left Nank as R1 for another week just scared with the Gawn noise.
    No Trades for me.

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 22:35

Butler didn't do much to scream pick me kicked a nice goal.
Now throw Spencer in the mix and a sore wrist.

Don't think you could bring Gawn in good faith just too many variables so Hannas you have one more game to impress me!
Will take the finger off the trade button

        Randomcliche2 · 31/03/2017 at 00:41

Gawn late out would be devo!

FWD – Roo to WHE

DEF- Smith to adams

    Keenbutclueless · 30/03/2017 at 22:53

    Congrats. Great trades.

Rufhead&SheSwallows · 30/03/2017 at 14:21

Hey community. Looking at trading Roo to the likes of Buddy? Or maybe JJK..
Also considering trading to Steele or Miller or Nank as this will allow me to upgrade one of my weak defensive rookies in to Mcgrath.. as I only have two premo defenders and marchbank. Cheers community. All thoughts and opinions welcome

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:39

Think I've met you off Tinder. Roo to Buddy for mine

    Finnius123 · 30/03/2017 at 14:40

Definitely go Buddy. Picking a midpricer if you didn't at the start would be very risky as they are simply not proven. As Pieman keeps saying on other threads the goal is to get to full premium, so why would you get rid of one now! Furthermore Mcgrath is looking like he will get rested pretty consistently, as they really don't want the number one pick to go down

      INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:56

Trading a premo down to a mid pricer or rookie will mean it takes you longer to get to full premo. Those that don't do that will get there before you

    JEL · 30/03/2017 at 19:18

Going with Roo -> Buddy as well.

Also running with the same Def structure as you.
Will be giving my Def rookies a bit more time to see how it pans out.

I don't want to drop Roo to a Mid pricer as that is 2 more trades to fix to a Premo later.

Kevan · 30/03/2017 at 14:24

Traded Taranto to Hannan. Will keep ROO unless Butler scores less then 80, he has the E.

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:41

TT to Hannan after 1 week. Brutal Kevan. It's crossed my mind but I'd like to see another week. TT & Hannan's scores could easily reverse this week

      Kevan · 30/03/2017 at 16:04

Already hit the reverse button. Need to focus.

        Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:28

Good call, no point trading a spud for a spud and who knows what they are yet?

Patch · 30/03/2017 at 14:40

Going Roo to Howe via DPP sneakiness. Backline is a big pile of poo at the moment with Marchbank at D3, and I also need the 50k gained from that trade. Leaves my forward line extremely open but the rookies there seem okay. Have enough to go Smith-McGrath next week

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 14:46

I like that Patch. I think a D3 is desperately needed with the rubbish defence rookies

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 14:55

Patch were you poppin prozac like lollies last week?
Thought 4 rook Def was a bridge to far this move is a good one makes sense just need to action before kick off tonight
McGrath next week all of a sudden a lot more sound down back

      Patch · 30/03/2017 at 15:09

I was happy as Larry Thursday, but then things went very south very quickly. Hampton should turn it around but the rest are concerning at best. Pity Joel Smith was looking the most promising of the lot before Roo fell into his shoulder

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 15:01

I'm doing a very similar thing in AFL Fantasy Patch, using the NRoo injury to bolster a somewhat vulnerable looking backline. If Hibbo and/or Otts get dropped either this week or next it's going to leave plenty of coaches extremely thin down back.

      Patch · 30/03/2017 at 15:08

Indeed – I've swung hibberd into the middle as part of this move. Think he might be okay, but Otten is absolutely gone in my humble opinion – Lever in is a like for like.

Seeker · 30/03/2017 at 14:41

Pretty good trades as long as you have plenty of scoring power in your forward line

Blackie White · 30/03/2017 at 14:43

I don't see the need to wait on Rooey, as have him too, and top deck looks solid but how confident are we in Hannan's JS?
Particularly, if he has a poor game this week, a more expensive rookie with better JS may be a better selection?
You're also weakening your fwd line for def line strength, so your making a correction to your structure also?

    undypuncher · 30/03/2017 at 17:03

ive got nank at f3 and hoskin elliot at f5 amd bringinf johanison into my defemce gives me 4 premos there… dont like xhanging my structure but was planning on making my money on defence rookies and they are smelly

      Randomcliche2 · 31/03/2017 at 00:30

If you consider jj premo then it's fine. Premo for premo, especially as it appears the fwd rookies scored better/will need more of. I spent the Roo cash in the mids.

Chopsticks · 30/03/2017 at 14:47

Max Gawn subject to fitness test….

    Northernsoul74 · 30/03/2017 at 15:36

Which won't happen until after The Nank has played in most people's forward lines so can't even cover him.

Craig · 30/03/2017 at 14:52

riewoldt to Steele? Thoughts

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 15:02

See how Steele goes over in WA against the WC midfield. That will test him. Don't pull that trade this week. If you really want to trade Roo this week go to MacRae Buddy or JJK

Darby · 30/03/2017 at 14:59

Jackson Thurlow

    Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:30

    He plays for Geelong.

Captain Risky · 30/03/2017 at 15:10

No Trades this week.. Holding Roo on the bench for this week just for clarity, but come next week he is out. ( have steele and Nank fwd already)
I've got Butler and Eddy on field as a result. Conditions didn't suit Eddy last week so I think he'll be better this week. (Was on bench last week thankfully)
Sure, I'll probably miss a few points but I can make a better decision next week. Tossing up Heppell, Oliver, Miller, Buddy, JJK etc too many options so I'll see what another week brings..$550K is a fair bit of patch up money so I want to spend it wisely.

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 15:29

You can certainly do that and it would in fact be the recommended initial course of action for all those who could loophole Butler on the bench tonight just in case he mega spuds. And if he does lay a nasty turd then you consider trading Roo straight up tomorrow.

Just be aware that next week is mainly about jumping on all the must have cows so you may need to use him for that purpose which would effectively see you miss out on potentially two weeks of premo scoring at F1. So long as you're cool with that then waiting always gives you another week of data to make better decisions with.

      Captain Risky · 30/03/2017 at 15:43

Thanks, that's a good option for Butler.

I think I've got all the main cash cows except Hannan, ( pending week 2 performances..) so don't need to fix up much next week at this stage. A Sandiwitts ruck combo helped πŸ™‚

Dukes · 30/03/2017 at 15:19

It pains me having to trade roo. Im unable to decide on a premo to trade him for so im trading him down to hannan who i view as a must have and holding on to the cash til next week where ill be looking at upgrading hibberd/picket if they fail to give me somthing this week

Thomas · 30/03/2017 at 15:24

Which 2 onfield out of Bowes, Butler and Hannan?

    Dukes · 30/03/2017 at 16:32

Its only been one game but you have to stick with the ones that performed. Butler and hannan for me.

jockreynolds · 30/03/2017 at 15:27

    I'll be there!

Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 15:35

The main conundrum only for me is J.Smith this week, and as tempting as it is to bring in Hannan already for this week, potentially I could utilise Smith (pending the rest of Rd 2 team selections tonight) as a D6 loophole for Otten/Stewart. What do you reckon about that idea community?

    Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 15:36

I would use Smith also to get Hannan in next week thanks to DPP links I should mention also.

      Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 15:37

Or Taranto could become Hannan next week to generate cash even potentially, should Taranto have another poor game, not going to write him off yet however.

        Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 15:52

I also thought of the idea of going Smith – McGrath if he can back up what he did in an impressive Rd 1 debut. DPP eligibility is also a nice feature too for McGrath.

    Tony · 30/03/2017 at 22:59

I'm also sitting on Smith to loophole Otten / Stewart. Then he's out next week, probably for Hannan via DPP unless he spuds it up this weekend. Not convinced of McGrath's scoring potential for SC, but he will be a super footballer for many years to come.

My priority next week is to get Marchbank in. Haven't worked out how to get the cash to do it with 2 likely rookie trades, though.

lewy hewy · 30/03/2017 at 15:40

do I hold hanners for 1 more week

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 15:55

No. You hold him for the next 22

Unless there's some news on an injury hold.

The Wyld One · 30/03/2017 at 15:43

roughhead and otten out for Hoskin-Elliot and Marsh

12345 · 30/03/2017 at 15:44

Need thoughts community,
If I trade roo to Steele/miller that means i have cash for rookie corrections next week.

But if I trade roo to buddy i have no money for rookie corrections and since I have smith I might need to downgrade Taranto to hannan next week to make smith into Mcgrath or someone. even if Taranto scores well I might still need to trade him to Make sure I dont get a donut in defence.

Urgently need thiughts????

    12345 · 30/03/2017 at 15:51

    Plz need thiughts I'm stuck

      Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 18:22

      Don't trade Roo to Steele.

Tom · 30/03/2017 at 15:44

Should I sideways Robbie gray or hold for another week and evaluate then…

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 15:56

Definitely have another look. His price isn't changing this week

    Youngy · 30/03/2017 at 15:59

    Hold

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 16:19

Hold but if he plays again mainly up forward and under performs then you may have to jettison him next week. Having an unfavourable role change change that appears it could be permanent is one of the few scenarios where you could justify a premo sideways. Goldy owners may have a similar worry on their hands if he again spends plenty of time up forward for the Roos this weekend.

However you really have to give 50 Shades at least one more week just in case he kicks 4 goals and has 25+ touches at home against a struggling Freo outfit.

    BestCoastEagles · 30/03/2017 at 16:20

Tom the word sideways should never be used specially in round two, hold your horses and emotion in tact.

    Daniel · 30/03/2017 at 16:24

    Hold!!

    Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 17:07

Definitely not! Although talk of him spending more time forward worries me and players who cop early head knocks often struggle for a few weeks after.

Marc · 30/03/2017 at 15:46

Don't understand why anyone has to trade this week, I started with Hickey in ruck, yes I do have Taranto, rookie Smith on the bench in my backline. I am happy to see what happens this round as the comp doesn't start till Rd 3. Remember trades are not to be taken lightly we may need them for the byes, finals. Anyone else have the same views!!!!!

    Northernsoul74 · 30/03/2017 at 16:26

Agree, need to see if the like of EVW or Newman get a game then see how they go. Hearing 3 debutants for Sydney.

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 18:23

Well since you don't have any injuries to premo players I can understand why you don't need to trade this week. I wish I was that lucky.

    Jordan · 31/03/2017 at 09:04

It does start this week for those going for overall rank and in leagues of ten

Trading out Roo.
Can either go to Buddy or Howe.

If I go Buddy I have an extra rookie on field in defence (out of Stewart,Otten,Hibberd) and if I go Howe then I have an extra forward rookie on (out of Eddy or Pickett).

redherringfc · 30/03/2017 at 16:38

I have a lot of spare cash, i know the wisdom is wait until round 2 to trade but can anyone tell me a reason not to straight swap Smith to Laird.

    Seb · 30/03/2017 at 16:42

Why would anyone tell you not to do that you have an injury and if you can correct it to a premo defintaky do it

    INPieman · 30/03/2017 at 16:48

If you have enough cash to do that, what are you waiting for!

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 16:54

Don't even blink twice – Laird is close to a must have mate and he's not going to get much cheaper any time soon.

    redherringfc · 30/03/2017 at 16:57

thanks. it was done monday morning, just wanted confirmation.

    Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 17:06

If you have the cash for that just go for it or else you have an injured player (wasted) and a huge warchest that could be earning you points (also being wasted).

Thomas · 30/03/2017 at 16:42

Thoughts on Tom Lynch as a trade in for NRoo? His round 9 bye hurts though.

John James · 30/03/2017 at 16:49

Going against the SC law and trading in the first week, but they were really only guidelines anyway. So trading out Smith, which is a shame since he was playing well till he was injured, trading in,Laird who of cause will be a keeper, until he get's injured. The the second trade happens so I can afford the first,Taranto out for Hannan, who I was interested in to start with, but didn't pick, since he had no preseason games. So overall I think this should be a positive outcome for my team.

Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 16:52

Love the amount of people trading out premos for mid-pricers. Always the most entertaining week in Supercoach.

    Seb · 30/03/2017 at 16:56

Most are doing it for cash for rookie corrections

      SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 17:04

Yes if you've got a lot of holes to patch up in the next fortnight it can make a lot of sense to at least consider the standout midpriced options. Although you should really only be ditching injured premos like NRoo this week and not the simple under performers like Hanners, Cripps and Hickey.

And if you are going the midpriced route you should really only be selecting ones that have some basis behind them, like a role change or an opportunity to shine at a new club, not just solely because they scored huge in Rd1.

    redherringfc · 30/03/2017 at 17:28

    don't do it.

Stupid Coach · 30/03/2017 at 17:07

Thinking of making only the one trade this week – Roo to either JJK, Buddy or Lynch (GC). Already have Steel and Dalhaus.

Keeping Smith in DEF in case I can use him for loophole purposes and will look to trade him out next week.

Will also look at trading Treloar or Ward to Pendles (corrective trade) next week depending on how each of them performs this week.

Thoughts ???

SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 17:13

Ty Webb · 30/03/2017 at 17:13

Anyone with Reiwoldt considering trading in Charlie Cameron? I don't have Reiwoldt but if I did I'd be very tempted. Don't know how I missed him during the preseason but Cameron fits the bill age/games wise for a big breakout year and his performance against GWS was delicious! I don't think the Crows gave him 23 for no reason.

    Captain Risky · 30/03/2017 at 17:31

Will be watching this week.. Tempting.

      Ty Webb · 30/03/2017 at 17:48

Definitely. !4 CP and 8 CL in round 1 seems to make it obvious he's now part of the Crows' first choice midfield rotation along with Sloane and Crouch. I'm almost hoping I get an LTI in my forward line this week πŸ˜›

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 18:03

He didn't exactly light up JLT. Rd 1 was his highest ever score.

I didn't see the Crows game – is he rotating through the midfield or did he just have an outlier?

      Ty Webb · 30/03/2017 at 18:13

Could be an outlier JJ. It looked like he was getting a fair bit of midfield time against GWS to me but don't have centre bounce attendance numbers to back that up.

        Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 18:16

Could be the shark move of the year. Could ruin my season.

          Ty Webb · 30/03/2017 at 19:05

lol maybe. Can't see him averaging below last year. Where does one get CB stats from?

Ty Webb · 30/03/2017 at 17:17

I traded out Turner and Smith for Hannan and Marchbank. That gives me those 2, Mcgrath, Butler, Witts, SPP and Florent as rookies I have reasonable confidence in

deeman · 30/03/2017 at 17:18

I've done the same exceot swapped smith for Laird instead

Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 17:36

Hey if Taranto was to be and out for team selections tonight and not play this Round, is that a legitimate enough reason to move him on for Hannan? I'd think that he'd be alright to go for another run this Round, but just wondering.

    Cliffy · 30/03/2017 at 17:36

    *an out

    Chook · 30/03/2017 at 18:11

i dont have eitber player yet, but I'd hold Taranto until next week. Hannan could get injured or dropped next round and you'll have egg on your face if you'd got him in early.

Chook · 30/03/2017 at 17:58

Would appreciate your advice community.
I think I'm settled on making 1 trade this week. I currently have 2 non playing rookies in defence. If Vickers-Willis isn't named i want to burn him off and bring in T Stewart or Hannam. how do you rate their respective job security?
Cheers!

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 18:11

Could do worse. Personally prefer Roo to buddy.

      Tommo09 · 30/03/2017 at 18:22

I am worried about Buddy fluctuating more
He will probably be my first or second upgrade though

        JEL · 30/03/2017 at 19:35

Strangely, as I was contemplating Buddy or JJK for Roo I was concerned about JJK fluctuating too much !!

          Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 19:44

Kennedy actually has a better consistency rating, but he is a flat track bully and the WCE dont have the kindest of draws this year. Buddy can produce against any team and he's cheaper.

exatekk · 30/03/2017 at 18:10

Im not trading anyone! πŸ˜€
apart from J.Smith going down, hes on my bench anyway, so gonna hold until i see more Noob action this weekend!

Josh · 30/03/2017 at 18:31

What should we do with big Gawn?
Obviously not trading him that is just silly. However do we switch nankervis from forward line with ruck cover and start nank sands in tuck or keep nank in the forward line.. then if Gawn is injured and a late out we get a 0

    hedski · 30/03/2017 at 18:38

Hmmm, risk swinging Nank to r3 scoring 100+ and Gawn plays, then run a rook fwd who scores 40….
    Not long to decide.

    Jay · 30/03/2017 at 18:52

I'm leaving Nank forward. Max has got until Sunday so time is on his side to prove his fitness.
And if not, oh well, I guess I'm just playing for cash league wins again.

top hawk · 30/03/2017 at 18:31

Jake Spencer selected for Melbourne. Ouch to all the Gawn holders!! Looks like Gawny needs a bit of support to help him along with his sore back. He is on the extended bench though, so Spencer may still miss the cut. Still, nervy times for Gawn holders.

    Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:16

    10

    Truthsayer · 30/03/2017 at 22:09

Any frees against? If not use your brain and realise it's an error.

Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:11

Very happy to see that the black and white 32 is still a SC must have

Bailey · 30/03/2017 at 20:14

Not sure how treloar can be on 14 sc points from 18 touches after being 40 off at qtr time. Nankervis has also dropped from 38 to 10.

RustyNuts · 30/03/2017 at 20:24

Haven't got any $$…. don't normally trade week 1…. but am thinking NRoo to hannon,,, Smith to Jason Johans??.. leaves me a little cash for any rookie corrections next week… Does it sound like a plan?

Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:28

He's got a head like a broom but he can play SC footy like a bald bloke. 51 SC at HT and only 185k
Why no heads up on Timmy Pieman?

Pman · 30/03/2017 at 20:29

Hold your trades until next week and see what pans out this round is my advice.

Rick Grimes · 30/03/2017 at 20:30

SC scores are stuffed again. Loses integrity. Treloar owners gonna spew if he gets underscored again. Has to be 50-60 easy at halftime. Showing 30. Joke.

    sharmanism · 30/03/2017 at 20:33

I just checked and saw 20 disposals and 30 SC points – massive WTF?

    gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 20:34

    footywire has him at 66

    Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:43

Ya right Rick I've been spewing since I saw his 15 SC for a 12 possession 1st qrtr at 92%
I reckon champion data might be waiting until I trade him out before they start giving him the actual score, [email protected]@rds

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 21:01

Are you following on fanfooty? If so the scores they have for Treloar and Nankervis (and I'm assuming others) are broken. They were both on or around 60 at HT.

    Truthsayer · 30/03/2017 at 22:07

    He was never underscored.

Shake n bake · 30/03/2017 at 20:33

Treloar again 20 touches half time only 30pts might finish with 40 touches for only 60pts l give up!

    Browncow · 31/03/2017 at 00:11

The Treloar formula seems pretty straight forward. The CG guys just decide what Bont would get for the possession and divide it by 2.

Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:33

The 65% of teams without Adams should get him this week.

    Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 20:39

He's at $251 in brownlow betting atmo and could be worth a speculative $10 he's got more chance of winning the brownlow than most of us have of winning the round high score or overall πŸ™‚

    Holty · 30/03/2017 at 20:55

There is a reason so many didnt select him. It has nothing to do with his scoring ability. It has everything to do with his durability.

      Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 21:08

Fair call Holty SportsBet obviously feel the same way

    johnno2908 · 30/03/2017 at 21:20

I traded him to Howe about 20 mins before the game last week. Not sure how I feel about it. Adams looks in great form

    Neverweaken · 30/03/2017 at 22:21

That's what I did. Roo gone. Steele into the fwd line and Adams in.

Tiger Man · 30/03/2017 at 20:37

Unrelated to supercoach but that was possibly the worst half of football I have ever seen

Shake n bake · 30/03/2017 at 20:45

Cotchin 2 goals 12 touches 33 pts butler just 6 touches 34 pts!!

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 21:03

Scores on Fanfooty are broken, he was actually on 66 at HT, Treloar was on 59.

      Clokey · 30/03/2017 at 21:09

where do you get the correct scores jib_jib

        Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 21:19

SC Paige in FB – only give quarterly updates though

hedski · 30/03/2017 at 20:51

Happened last week, it'll be ok (scores), can't change anything mid game anyway.
Is a pain in the arse tho.

Top hawk · 30/03/2017 at 21:03

Got the VC on Adam Treloar for the second week straight. Am I stubborn? Bloody oath. Treloar is an absolute gun!

    Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 21:05

Dropped it on him this week. What would you accept for a VC score?

      hedski · 30/03/2017 at 21:30

      130+

        Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 22:05

Agreed, with the form Danger is in accept nothing less.

    hedski · 30/03/2017 at 21:09

    Same Toppa

      Top hawk · 30/03/2017 at 21:21

Beside all the SC mid match scoring dramas, I reckon Treloar is on pace for a 140+ score.

        Pman · 30/03/2017 at 21:40

I hope they sort it out as HS website Supercoach scoring on news site has Treloar on 94 points with 10 mins to go but only 66 points on my SC App and website?? It was a shambles last week too and really not good enough.

          gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 22:08

          Trealor 108 sc points

            Pman · 30/03/2017 at 22:16

Yet SC App and website and now HS website have him only 83 points, despite HS website having hom on 94 points with 10 minutes to go. WTF??!!

              gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 22:20

Footywire have changed Trealor down to 83 sc points now …wtf is going on

Michael · 30/03/2017 at 21:41

WHE a must have rookie now

    Swans2012 · 30/03/2017 at 21:47

Starting to look that way, going to be a big round 3 increase

      Jib_Jib · 30/03/2017 at 22:04

He was already at -58 BE starting this game, Going to have a huge price increase in the next couple of weeks.

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 22:19

      Got that one right

    Danners · 30/03/2017 at 22:31

Only for the short term Greenwood, De Goey, Wells all didn't play. Will probably have an off week sometime soon

      Tim · 31/03/2017 at 08:32

      Based on what exactly?

Nicholas · 30/03/2017 at 21:56

Have a pretty big rookie problem.
Currently have Otten, Hampton, McCarthy and Taranto on field.
Am missing good rookies such as Butler, Hannan, Hoskin- Elliot and McGrath.

Wondering if it is smart to offload someone this week as I may need to use 2 trades next week
Thoughts?

    Big Bowls · 30/03/2017 at 22:08

1st round mate. Make a mix and chillax.

    hedski · 30/03/2017 at 22:11

Drop one maybe, not two or u could get smashed.

Touk tuk · 30/03/2017 at 22:06

trelaor 86????

jwill2bong · 30/03/2017 at 22:09

if trelor doesn't somehow break 100 someone should lodge a formal complaint

    Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 22:17

    Everyone should

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:29

Maybe go play DT? These complaints happen every year about SC.

      The BONT · 30/03/2017 at 22:31

      83

Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:11

Last time I checked Footywire

WHE – 114
Nank – 121
Adams – 119
Treloar – 108
Butler – 63

hedski · 30/03/2017 at 22:12

Treloarsome 135 or something's wrong

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:15

Not necessarily. Low DE. Plus there's a lot of misinformation on how statistics are scored in supercoach.

Something along the lines of a kick under 40m if to a contest is worthless?

      Touk tuk · 30/03/2017 at 22:22

      But 83????? 83????? Noway

        Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:29

Yeah it seems extreme. He'll come good though.

Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:14

Now all the points have changed.

Neverweaken · 30/03/2017 at 22:19

May have to trade out Treloar. Not SuperCoach friendly at all

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:20

Seemed fairly supercoach friendly last year?

    Touk tuk · 30/03/2017 at 22:22

    Agree

      TheWhale · 30/03/2017 at 22:31

Yeah I'm off him for sure – cross trade to someone who champion data loves instead

    Pman · 30/03/2017 at 22:31

SC scoring the last 2 weeks is on the nose. Thinking Treloar straight swap for Pendles but a bit worried about a lingering achilles issue.

    PJ King · 31/03/2017 at 02:28

Treloar had 6 clangers @ 65 DE with 81 ToG. The clangers cost him dearly. Other than that he played a monstrous game and doesn't have any Achilles concerns. He can only get better. Hold.

Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:20

By using Champion Data's comprehensive rankings system of over 50 different stats, player rankings are the most accurate way to determine how effective a player has been. You can be sure that a high-scoring player is giving his team maximum value. Unlike other stats systems, Champion Data will not simply award a point for each kick, mark or handball. For example, while other games will award points for a kick no matter how far it goes or where it's directed, Champion Data will award zero points for a kick that travels less than 40 meters to a contest.

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:21

In other words there are lots of weird ways in which CD awards points, they don't even tell everyone the details.

Maybe that is why supercoach is slowly dying?

      Keenbutclueless · 30/03/2017 at 22:37

understand that. But he was on 104 with 5 minutes to go and kicked a goal. Was waiting for that to update. Then he goes back to 83. Even if they apply those factors, it doesn't explain how he can be pulled back so far.

        Keenbutclueless · 30/03/2017 at 22:41

Scrub that. All fixed. Burnman you are probably the sanest person on this issue. My eyes certainly rolled back in my head and the veins in my neck nearly exploded.
        Calmness and serenity restored

BloodyFranklin · 30/03/2017 at 22:25

Interesting Supercoach score for Treloar… it appears he was the highest AFL Fantasy scorer.

Tiger Man · 30/03/2017 at 22:26

Surely these scores are incorrect? I don't have Cotchin but I'm pretty sure a 98 is absurd for his performance today, not to mention Treloar 83 and nank 92

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:32

Absurd? 26 touches 13 contested, 7 tackles, 2 goals. 3 frees for, none against.

      Tiger Man · 30/03/2017 at 23:17

17 of those touches were kicks and 8 clearances Burmnen, especially considering Bont scored 120 plus for much less last week in my personal opinion I think 115+ reflects his influence on the game.

    Pman · 30/03/2017 at 22:32

The Nank was 0 after QTR time despite playing well. SC is rooted this year and there has been a big drop off in numbers playing too. Not hard to see why…

Ben · 30/03/2017 at 22:26

Trelor 83 this is complete madness I'm triggered

The BONT · 30/03/2017 at 22:29

What the F*** Supercoach 35 touches and 2 goals for only 83 points
Why do you hate Trealoar

johnno2908 · 30/03/2017 at 22:30

Howe 61 = Yuck

Jack · 30/03/2017 at 22:31

35 touches and 2 goals at 65% efficiency…no way is 83 right. AFL Fantasy it is now

Brad · 30/03/2017 at 22:33

They better fix these fking scores, nank 92 and treloar 83 is fkd

The BONT · 30/03/2017 at 22:35

ITS ok everyone don't sop playing supercoach they just changed it Trealor has 108 points

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:35

    haha

      DavidSA · 30/03/2017 at 22:58

πŸ™‚ yeah superc*ck 2017 making a lot of sense already

Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 22:35

Treloar 108 on SC site, guess that's final

Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:36

Went from 480 to 528. Happy.

Jack · 30/03/2017 at 22:37

Treloar scaled up to 108 at least…still thought he deserved 120+

    DavisSA · 30/03/2017 at 22:47

Treloar 108 Pft and last week 96 two weeks in a row CD got head in asses.
    Rance gets 99 enough said

BloodyFranklin · 30/03/2017 at 22:37

Definitely a topic of discussion for the podcast me thinks.

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 22:38

Possibly although the scoring system is much more complex than Fantasy and can lead to staining.

      BloodyFranklin · 30/03/2017 at 22:43

      Indeed.

gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 22:38

FFS what is going on with SC scores!!

    Tommo · 30/03/2017 at 23:05

It really destroys the enjoyment when your guy dominates only to get shafted big time on the useless scoring system. Every game this year has been compromised in some way and nobody who controls it seems to care. Everyone should cancel their love score subscription. That might get the boffins to notice otherwise they frankly couldn't give a sh1t if it stuffs the team you planned all preseason!

      Tommo · 30/03/2017 at 23:06

      *live score subscription

        gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 23:11

May as well downgrade Trealor to Zac Dawson and pocket the cash.. That's how much faith i have in Champion Data..

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 23:20

Beams BOG last week – 96????
Treloar very close to BOG tonight – 108????

As Pauline would say "please explain"

Seb · 30/03/2017 at 22:40

Okay I'm sorry but treloars 108 just isn't okay… even if he went at 66% he still got two goals 35 possessions 3 tackles and 6 marks!!!!!! I'm calling champion data tommrow and I'm gonna have a chat

    Big G · 31/03/2017 at 13:04

Agree totally. What is a man to do?

      Tibor · 03/04/2017 at 12:58

Is there any chance you guys are pies supporters?

TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 22:41

Does make you question the whole system and reliability if he can go from 83 which was simply wrong to 108.
Is that right who knows?

    Neverweaken · 30/03/2017 at 22:45

Maybe they read Jock and our comments

    The Ranger · 30/03/2017 at 22:58

Every year for the first few rounds there's loads of posts about how crap the scoring system is Trigger and every year everyone shuts up about it after a while.
It is what it is and it's the same for everyone.

      Alex · 30/03/2017 at 23:43

You're right Ranger there have always been doubts over certain SC scores time from time to time but it seems way worse this year for whatever reason. Where in past years there might be 1 or 2 scores across the round that made little sense we are now getting a couple every single game. I had Selwood last week and he completely owned Freo but hardly tonned up. Scores just aren't reflecting performances so sorry but that is just wrong.

        Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:49

No, it's you that are wrong, you obviously don't know the scoring system.

        Daniel · 31/03/2017 at 12:32

It seems worse because of confirmation bias. You have him, so you notice that his score doesn't reflect his impact (in your opinion).

This happens every year and if you pay attention, you notice which players have a more 'SC-friendly' game. Just like if you play dream team, other players score better. There is some overlap but it's not precise.

          DavidSA · 31/03/2017 at 15:13

Yup that's true but I have both Rance and Treloar :/

Alex · 30/03/2017 at 22:42

Roo to Buddy straight swap? Going for rank.

Derek · 30/03/2017 at 22:46

I have to admit it, The Nank was pretty good tonight, deserved his score.

Grundy was a different player without Cox.

The Lone Wolf Ruckman is SC gold

    gator59 · 30/03/2017 at 22:49

The front if Jock's strides have a huge bulge!! after Grundy's effort..

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 30/03/2017 at 22:57

Best game I've seen REG play – was everywhere tonight

    John · 30/03/2017 at 23:09

Your stubborness on the Nank is costing you huge Derek. So glad I didn't listen to you on that one bwahaaha!

      Derek · 31/03/2017 at 12:03

No prob John. i'm glad you didn't listen to me as well.

    hedski · 30/03/2017 at 23:12

    I'm sniffing a Cyril/Nank swap…

      SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 23:21

Nice way to make $100K+ as well as gain valuable ruck cover – sounds like a win/win to me. In fact I believe I suggested this to him a couple of weeks ago hedski. πŸ™‚

        Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:46

For sure!, Nank is the man at Tigers now, Maric won't get back in.

          Derek · 31/03/2017 at 08:31

Cyril will be fine. He was on 42sc early in second quarter but then got a big corky on his thigh. Had one Touch after that.

The Nank would have been good to start with but I won't be chacing his points and using two trades.

Well done to everyone that got him

        Derek · 31/03/2017 at 08:33

        Now you tell me!!!! πŸ˜‰

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:50

Can't wait to see if Witts can tonne up this week! Sandiwittlands could be huge!

      SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 23:54

Indeed the Sandiwittsland triple combo looks like it will kick some serious ass this season Burnmen!

        Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:21

Please stay out Nicholls and Currie!

Nick · 30/03/2017 at 22:58

Should i take butlers score of 65?

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:51

Depends who is on your bench. 65 is respectable for a cheap rookie. If it's Pickett/Parfitt/Eddy to come then take it I reckon.

Tommo · 30/03/2017 at 23:01

WHE outscores Treloar what a fc*kn joke! The system is rigged.

    Alex · 30/03/2017 at 23:17

I know it's total bullshite mate. No doubt other coaches will get screwed over before this weekend is done.

    SCaddict · 30/03/2017 at 23:28

Does make you raise an eyebrow or three. I understand Treloar's DE wasn't flash but 35 touches and 2 goals surely has to get you a little more than barely scraping together a ton haha!

At least I got on WHE this arvo after M.Kennedy was dropped so had at least one thing go my way this evening.

Jack · 30/03/2017 at 23:17

Pretty sure Rance gets 30 points for running through the banner

Steeeve · 30/03/2017 at 23:26

WHE and Hannan welcome my team for round 3

    Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:43

Unless Hannan scores 27 this week lol, hence waiting is good πŸ™‚

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 08:36

Tarento better play well this week, tossed up between WHE and knight all preseason and then jumped on the Tarento bandwagon in the last few days

      SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 08:55

He's on notice alright. Another spudly performance and his own coach may cut him let alone about 80,000 supercoaches. πŸ™‚

Already got on WHE yesterday after M.Kennedy was dumped so Taranto might become either Hannan or Butler if he can't deliver tomorrow.

      Steeeve · 31/03/2017 at 11:39

Taranto doesn't fire he's out — poor JS and not making bank.
Roughead as well. Needs 85+ or he's out of my side.
Those 2 out, Hannan and WHE in is my current plan.

Deal with bung shoulder Joelder later on.

Holty · 30/03/2017 at 23:27

Before everyone starts getting more upset about Treloar, the bloke only went at 40% de by foot after quarter time. 3 in every 5 kicks were useless. Do we remember the days when Swan would get 40+ touches and struggle to make 90 points? Kicks are worth more then handballs but it is pointless if you are not hitting the target. This is why pendlebury getting 25 touches will outscore Treloars 30+ touches more often then not. Long story short, we all know Treloar can use the ball better then this. Its only a matter of time.

    Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:42

Yeah agree, once he gets in the swing of it he'll be knocking out 130's+ every second week.

      Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:53

Exactly. Nothing is rigged or messed up.

    Rick · 31/03/2017 at 10:45

His projected score was 101 so people should be satisfied. Anyone who is unhappy about his score should stick to Fantasy.

Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:41

Does anyone know why there is no Supercoach Live HQ this season?…or if they are in fact going to do it, and if they have in fact taken Live HQ away..who the fk would want to pay for Supercoach Gold if that's the case? This alleged" Live" thing they have now on the homepage is not even close to live or accurate.

    Alex · 30/03/2017 at 23:50

The whole system is a bloody joke Russ. People are paying good money for that crappy service and they seem to have little interest rectifying the problems. It's just so half-arsed that it's frankly an embarrassment to our national game. The Herald Sun should hang their heads in shame but so long as people keep paying for the service why should they give a fark??

      Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:13

Yeah I hear ya Alex, it is a joke at the moment, but I'm pretty sure what was Supercoach Live HQ last season is only for $28 per month Herald Sun subscribers, so if that is the case and they're charging that money for no Live HQ, I'm cancelling my subscription I've had for the last 3 years, cause that was the only reason I did subscribe, to watch my live head to head matches, actually live, not as the mess it is now.

    Loop · 31/03/2017 at 05:39

The new match centre is rubbish. I liked the players numbers being there, it was good for a quick reference if a new player caught your eye ( I watch with the sound down when the commentators give me sh#$#) and I dont want a page that has the footy stories on it, just put it back to how it was. If it aint broke………..

Jack · 30/03/2017 at 23:46

Don't have any of WHE, Hannan and McGrath. Should i get in McGrath this week, so i can get the other 2 next week?

    Russ in W.A · 30/03/2017 at 23:50

See how McGrath goes this week, but WHE is the priority in I reckon, 88 and 120 is pretty darned good.

    Holty · 30/03/2017 at 23:52

Hannan for sure as he is a cheap rookie. Most years id say no to the other 2 but as we are very limited with rookie stocks, i may grab WHE as well as he has now had 2 good games

    Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:54

Possibly. Do you have Smith to get rid of?

      Jack · 31/03/2017 at 00:00

yep, plan is Smith to McGrath…I'm gonna give my fwd/mid rooks another chance this week then see who to get rid of for Hannan and WHE next week

        Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:05

It's risky and up to you. I'm not going to tell you it's a dumb move, because potentially you have no replacement for smith or the swing available to do Smith>WHE/Hannan.

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 00:02

I'll be waiting another week myself before pulling the trigger on those two but if you need to get on WHE next week it may be worth locking in Hannan now. It's a risk of course but might be the right move for you and there's a decent chance he will score well against the Blues.

I'm still not sold on committing $211K to McGrath just yet but if he can go 80 plus this weekend I will have to strongly consider him next week, as will all coaches who don't have him.

      Geoff · 31/03/2017 at 00:11

Yep in a way I'm hoping McGrath leaves a nasty trouser stain this weekend and reverts to the JLT version of McGrath as I don't really want to have to find the cash to bring him in next week. So please oh please spud.

        Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:22

There's a good chance he will Geoff lol, Butler couldn't back up his score from last week..although he didn't do too bad, will still make big cash if he stays on the park.

Burnmen · 30/03/2017 at 23:49

Intercept marks are worth a fortune, as are contested marks. Rance is an SC beast.

The Ranger · 30/03/2017 at 23:51

I wish I could explain it to you mate but I can't. And that was kinda my point.
I gave up trying to understand the system ages ago and nowadays I'm happy just to play it.

Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:03

For anyone questioning Alex Rance's high score…….

2 contested marks, if considered intercept (playing defense so…) worth 8 points each.

Another 5 marks (Uncontested on lead 5 points, uncontested mark 2 points)

13 x 1 percenters! That is huge. Spoil 2 points. Shepherd 1.5 points.

He went at about 88% efficiency according to AFL website. As long as he wasn't kicking to a contest under 40m all these would be counted in SC scores.

    Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:10

17 disposals with half contested plus above stats and I can see he got 100 in SC easy. He's been doing similar performances for years.

    Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:10

One of the few Tigers with that kind of efficiency, they may have won but they're still scrappy as hell.

      Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:18

I just think it's funny how people think CD 'loves' Rance or something.

How about we give probably the best defender in the league some credit where credit is due. He is ranked no.1 in the player rankings for defenders iirc.

He does valuable little things that fantasy does not reward.

The guy got 100 SC last year from 16 touches (66 AF).

People should just quit SC if they can't handle it. (None of this is aimed at you Russ just happened to reply to your comment)

        Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:20

Yeah no dramas mate, I understand how much SC docks player's points for ineffiency, and Treloar is butchering it at the moment πŸ™‚

Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:06

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/supercoach-

    Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:18

They only post that stuff to confuse people, cause they don't really want us all to know exactly how things are scored, remember a few seasons ago…when a player could score 45 points for kicking the winning goal on the siren?…that's like an emotional scoring system rather than an ordered, reliable one. Not much has changed by the looks. Maybe they should just change it to the AFL FANTASY system, just kicks handballs marks etc regardless of who it goes to or how the disposal ends up.

      Burnmen · 31/03/2017 at 00:19

Yeah but then it will be just like fantasy, and that would be boring.

        Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:27

Yeah it is kinda boring. especially not really having to worried about trades, cause there's 44 or whatever.

Choice · 31/03/2017 at 00:19

Do I have to get Nank and WHE?
If I do, I have to trade down Preuss to Strdnica for coin, bring in Hannan for Smith via DPP
Then next week Roo to Nank and WHE

    Russ in W.A · 31/03/2017 at 00:30

I don't reckon you HAVE to get WHE yet, but if he does it 3 times in a row then yeah, but Nank I would say yeah, you have to get him this week if you want him, cause he'll probably go up in price by 60 or 70 grand after round 3. Not sure how long Roo's gonna be out, if it's only 2 weeks is it worth trading him out?

      Choice · 31/03/2017 at 00:49

WHE will go up more by averages

    Hubba · 31/03/2017 at 00:33

You need them both. Search your feelings, you know it to be true…

Saintly · 31/03/2017 at 05:11

Who to trade Roo to most say Buddy but already got him, JJK is up and down but average well by years end. Is there other options out there people's thoughts.

    Vicki · 31/03/2017 at 07:39

Hi Saintly. I'm looking at going Higgins to free up cash for next weeks rookie upgrades. Not sure if a good idea or not.

      Finnius123 · 31/03/2017 at 09:11

Macrae is probably your best op

      SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 09:33

As a Higgins owner I would obviously support that trade Vicki. He looks fit and has had a role change getting heaps of midfield time so I think that he will perform very well this season. He also has a Rd12 bye that will suit lots of coaches.

Of course the ever present spectre with Higgins is his durability but so long as you are willing to accept a slightly elevated risk of him getting hurt again I think you could be well rewarded. In addition you would harvest about $125K in savings over NRoo that you could apply to address other weakness in your side that we all have with this ordinary class of rookies we have to suffer this season.

I do agree with Finnius that Macrae should present a relatively safe and reliable option but you won't net the same level of savings compared to Higgins obviously.

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 11:53

    Dahlhaus is a good option

Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 05:25

I can understand Treloar's disposal efficiency was pretty ave, tho I still maintain he scored more than 108. But what irks me is the way the points will shift around uncontrollably. One minute a player has 40, next 15, next 1, next 60. I have no faith in the accuracy of the scoring. I'd rather they didn't have it live, spend some time getting it right, then post scores.

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 08:41

    Trelor: gets ball kicks ball.

Pendles: gets ball, thinks, kicks ball.

      Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 09:37

This is true Derek, but all he needs is to lift his efficiency a tad and he'll be pumping out massive scores. I'm still happy with him over Pendles at this stage But it doesn't change the fact the scores were nuts during the game. You can't tell me you wouldn't be pumped if one of your premiums was sitting on 20 possessions at 70% efficiency and had 37 SC points, whist there's a bloke with 6 touches sitting on 60.

        Derek · 31/03/2017 at 11:52

i'm happy with having him, and he should score better if the pies win a few games.

simple things like getting 4pts for a goal assist can turn to NIL if the set shot is missed.

    Scoach dogged it · 31/03/2017 at 09:50

    Treloar 35 touches 2 goals = 108

    Dusty 25 touches 2 goals = 118

Don't get it no matter what his disposal efficiency was (unless it was like 0) with 10 more disposals he should be scoring more than Martin it's fkn bs. Last year this would be a 130.

      Holty · 31/03/2017 at 10:47

Dont look at the disposals, just look at the efficiency. Im basing this on kicks as they are worth more points then handballs.
Treloar had 20 kicks at 40% de. Only scores with 8 kicks.
Dusty 17 kicks at 80%. Scores with 13 kicks.
Dusty also won more contested ball and as we know that boosts their score.
Im not surprised about his score but wont be surprised either if he pumps out 150 next week.

        Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 12:17

The disposal efficiency wasn't 40%, more like 70%, unless all those stats were stuffed as well. To be fair, I only watched the first half and I thought Treloar was average on his disposal but not shocking. But no point arguing the fact, it ain't gonna change.

          Holty · 31/03/2017 at 13:38

40% By foot Rick. Thats why i mentioned kicks.

            Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 14:17

Fair enough, I only read what I wanted to read. Quit blinding me with facts and science!!!!

      Kim · 02/04/2017 at 09:59

Dusty kicked 2 goals in the final term including the sealer so contested marks plus game winning goals get scaled up a lot. I was a bit annoyed as well as dusty didn't do a lot until final term. Jjk was on 20 points last night at 3/4 time then kicked 3 in the last and basically won the game for wc so he finished on 82 just the way the game works sometimes, more points for ppl who step up when their teams need them too.

    Goat · 31/03/2017 at 10:12

I share the pain re the complete stuff ups in live scores this season. It is really annoying and there is a disconnect between the SC progress and the actual game. I'm annoyed this morning to wake up and see Nankervis had 124. Dusty's score scaled up massively…? Where did that come from? I thought Nank had a pretty ordinary game (esp. second half) and Dusty by his own admission was largely out of the game until the late goals in the second half. The live stats supported that. On Treloar, I don't share the pain so much – I agree with Derek – his disposal was awful – its not about possessions but effectiveness. 108 still seems overs to me.

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 11:50

clearly there is a problem with the scoring system during the games this year, and hopefully they will sort it out. Everyone should know this by now and stop freaking out when Rance is on 1SC at half time…. we all know it is wrong, but it will be fixed by the time the game is over.

      Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 12:20

True Derek, but I have no faith in the fixing part either. Haha. Just another quirk of the game I guess.

Cameron · 31/03/2017 at 05:52

Very good chance Brisbane vs Ess game will get canceled this weather is insane. Going to make it interesting for SuperCoach

    Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 07:46

This is significant. What happens in this scenario?

      SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 08:17

I'm trying to remember what happened when the Crows game was cancelled in the aftermath of the Phil Walsh tragedy. From memory I believe players may have been awarded their season average.

That made some sense back in July 2015 when over half the season had already been played but could lead to some interesting anomalies if applied in this instance off the back of just one game. Could provoke some arbitrage type trading opportunities if we knew what players might score beforehand like HepD, Rocky or even a relevant rookie like McGrath for instance.

For example those who had Cripps might consider dumping him for HepD Saturday night if it looks like the game was going to get cancelled if they knew they were going to get his 152 from last week.

        Jay · 31/03/2017 at 08:35

In that sad time crows and cats players all got doughnuts.
Some people thought they should've used the bye rules, but they didn't.

          SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 08:43

Donuts would be harsh for Lions and Bombers owners and could provoke a whole different set of trades if that's the case this time, if the game doesn't go ahead.

            Westy · 31/03/2017 at 09:56

It will be fine. Ground will be sodden but no rain today.

              SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 10:00

As a Beams owner that's encouraging to hear.

Saundo · 31/03/2017 at 08:55

Does anyone know the status of Berry from the lions, have him as swing mid/fwd with Hibberd but thinking of bringing in fox, atley, miles ?

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 09:00

He played in a NEALF practice last week and got through ok. He should play NEALF again this week and hopefully put in a good performance. McCluggage also playing.

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 09:07

He's no longer on the injury list so that's a good thing but he didn't even make the Lions emergencies this weekend so the plan must be to get some games into at NEAFL level first before exposing him to senior footy.

When he gets AFL games is anyone's guess Saundo but hopefully it's not too far away as he's a talent for sure. You may as well sit tight on him for now on your mid bench assuming you have other playing rookies you can field. I wouldn't worry about Fox, Miles or Atley until they are on the bubble as the JS of all 3 is very questionable at this point.

Doc · 31/03/2017 at 09:42

Structural error going into round 1. Need a downgrade trade to generate some cash for planned round 2 corrections (blew my balance on late upgrade of Higgins to JJK – which worked wonders on the score and saves me a forward upgrade later)

Macrae or Dalhouse to Steele
Or
Hanners or GAJ to Heppel (other mids are danger, titch, Fyfe, beams, P-P, and Taranto).

    Abel · 31/03/2017 at 11:32

If you have to it must be hanners out. Others are gold

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 11:43

    neither trade makes any sense

Dusty · 31/03/2017 at 09:46

Can you do the rookie loophole with all bench players playing?

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 09:50

No not with all 30 players playing in a given round. Perhaps you will get "lucky" and have either a rookie who gets culled from the Sunday extended benches later this arvo or maybe a late out over the weekend.

But otherwise you won't be able to loophole if all 30 players in your side are playing this round.

BrownlowBoy · 31/03/2017 at 09:51

Brett Eddy is out!

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 09:55

An omission, injury or illness I wonder? If an omission that's pretty ruthless by Hinkley considering how well he performed in the JLT and playing a game in Sydney that didn't really suit forwards.

      Kyle · 31/03/2017 at 12:03

Jarman impey is coming back from a club suspension. Replacing eddy

    Dildor · 31/03/2017 at 10:17

Can't seem to find it, can you link me a source? Absolutely agree SCAddict, brutal omission.

    Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 10:36

Yep, harsh. I fancied him to kick a few this week. Reckon Hibberd will be goneburgers too.

Westy · 31/03/2017 at 10:00

Nank, treloar, Grundy and butler. All good scorers last night.

Will probably need to do a structural trade to get WHE in – perhaps downgrade JOM or Roughy and lose Florent OR SPS. Will see how this weekend pans out.

    Top hawk · 31/03/2017 at 10:24

I was keen to grab WHE this week but I held fire. (Bugger) Next week is a different story. WHE was excellent last night and will come into my side for round 3. Will seriously appreciate in value as he is averaging 104 during first 2 rounds.

Still ropable about Treloar's score last night. He bloody dominated and his use of the footy was very good. That was a performance worthy of at least 130 SC points.

Conundrums · 31/03/2017 at 10:48

Is it worth downgrading Roughy to WHE if he underperforms this week? i need the cash to trade Eddy to Hannan, have absolutely nothing in my cap :/

Ando · 31/03/2017 at 10:48

Bit nervous about TRYING the emergency loophole. After reading recent questions/answers regarding it, is what I have planned for tonight correct?
Eddy, dropped I assume, on the field. Florent emergency. If Florent does well, leave it. If Florent stinks it up, swap Parfitt with Eddy.
I would appreciate confirmation thank you.

    Phil · 31/03/2017 at 11:08

It's right, but Eddy won't be dropped. He was named Round 1 in the wet vs Sydney in Sydney, no way he gets dropped especially with no like for like replacement.

    Dildor · 31/03/2017 at 11:24

    JJK is a safe trade.

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 11:30

this question has been dealt with, look at all the other comments……… and then get McCrae!

    Abel · 31/03/2017 at 11:33

McRae for safety. Higgins if like a risk.

BradK · 31/03/2017 at 11:14

Bretty eddy dropped. Ffs he's the type of player that will stink up our benches for a while

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 11:18

If he misses again next week plenty of coaches could be be swapping his ass for either Hannan or Butler before their price changes. Some may even be tempted to trade him for Hannan this week although I intend to wait first.

Harvey · 31/03/2017 at 11:19

Trade in Hannan for Smith to play on field or stick with Parfitt?

    Andy · 31/03/2017 at 12:00

How can you get Hannah in for Smith?

      Harvey · 31/03/2017 at 12:03

Swing Hibberd into the defence and Parfitt into the midfield.

        Andy · 31/03/2017 at 12:08

        But Hannan is a fwd?

Andy · 31/03/2017 at 11:39

If you were playing someone you really wanted to beat and both had Ward, would you trade for Merrett or Heppell ?

    Rick Grimes · 31/03/2017 at 12:23

No. Unless your teams are exactly the same, you have to back your PODs in. Who's to say the rookie you have different doesn't pump out 100 and get you home.

Cliffy · 31/03/2017 at 11:43

For the loads of coaches that have Eddy, what do you reckon about utilizing him as an F5/F6 loophole with Taranto/Houston? That's what I'm thinking of doing, I know it is awfully tempting to move him on for Hannan right away, but I still want to hold the nerves and not trade too soon.

    Kyle · 31/03/2017 at 12:08

Im holding him for atleast 1 week. My forward rookies are a bit iffy. Using to loophole miles/houston this week and hope eddy is named next week.

      Timmy · 31/03/2017 at 18:23

You can't loophole Houston with him if they both lock out at the same time!

Steeeve · 31/03/2017 at 11:43

Shame about Eddy being dropped but don't forget: PORT ADELAIDE'S KEY FORWARD IS AN ACTUAL DEAD HUMAN.
Won't be long before Eddy is needed to cover for Charlie when some other part of him decomposes.

rdtic · 31/03/2017 at 11:59

Higgins or Steele??

Tim · 31/03/2017 at 12:13

can you play around with your trades and reverse before tonight?

    SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 12:23

    NOPE!

Once the round commences trades can't be reversed in SC. A bunch of folks who have pre-traded out Swallow earlier in the week are about to discover that shortly.

      Saundo · 31/03/2017 at 12:27

      Last week you could though?

        SCaddict · 31/03/2017 at 12:46

There were no trades to reverse as such in Rd1 as it was a special case. You had unlimited trades instead which is a distinction.

But once Rd2 kicks off (and all future rounds) you can no longer reverse trades mid round.

Tim · 31/03/2017 at 12:26

can someone please explain how you can trade smith for hannan?

    Tim · 31/03/2017 at 12:54

DPPs – most likely Parfitt or Pickett up forward and Hibberd in the guts. Move each one up a line and put Hannan up forward.

    Derek · 31/03/2017 at 17:35

trade Smith like you would normally do.

Then go down your list of other players in your team. Anyone with a Big gray "S" next to there name is a DPP player. Click on the "S" – for example Hibberd, berry, McGrath. But they need to be in the midfield. If they are in defense you are stuffed.

that will only allow you to trade in a midfielder. To get hannan who is a forward, you still need to shift another DPP player from the forward line to the midfield.

So look for another player in your team with a big gray "S" next to their name. It will be either pickett or taranto or Parfitt. Click on the big "S".

on the right hand side all the avaliable forwrds will then appear and you can click on the green + to trade hannan in.

    easy, the ol' double switch.

It is usually easier if there are DEF/FWD DPP players, not many this year.

be careful, you can't reverse trades now, try practicing during the week when you can reverse the trades.

Kyle · 31/03/2017 at 14:34

If roughy doesnt perform again nect week i will probably need to trade down to WHE and use the extra cash on upgrading one of otten or hibberd down back to probably a marchbank.

Thoughts on this move community?

    Wally · 31/03/2017 at 15:57

What? First game back against a better side, scored 70 odd and you want to chop him? Is 100 good enough? Obviously you are a first timer and your trades will be gone by round 18. Dumb!

      Kyle · 31/03/2017 at 16:23

Definately not a first timer…come top 1% for the last 3 years in a row actually.

My thinking behind this is currently, our cheep rookies are not performing and wont make much if any cash for us. If roughy scores another 60-70 his price will not change much. Ofc this whole idea could go in the trash if roughy tons up or marchbank spuds it up.

With hibberd otten hampton and smith currently in my back line i have risk of fielding donuts if i am unlucky and some are dropped. That is the biggest reason i want to possibly downgrade roughy if he doesnt do well this week.

This year is starting to look very different from the rest and we may need to find other ways of making $$$

    BloodyFranklin · 31/03/2017 at 17:17

I'm thinking of the same mate. If he doesn't perform I may consider trading him out for Zak Jones, but that also depends on Jones' performance. Fortunately I already have WHE and Marchbank in my team.

      Russ in W.A · 01/04/2017 at 03:02

Tonight's game answers the Jones question, mediocre tonight.

is it worth bringing in hannan this week so that i can get WHE and another rookie next week? especially since eddy has been dropped this week?

I would wait till next week before trading in any rookies mate. This year they are all over the joint with scores. Hannan has had no JLT games so we have no idea what to actually expect from him. Very hard to base it off of one game. If he backs last week up with another solid score then definately bring him in.

If you can, use eddy to loophole your other forward rookies if you have enough playing.

Would u take Butler's 65 or play Hannan?

I would take the 65, better than a potential 25.
