JLT is OVER – time for the complete JLT Series Rookie Spreadsheet
You can use this spreadsheet to see what each rookie priced player scored, how much time they spent on ground and how their price might rise (or fall) to if they score the same when the real stuff comes around.
The average on a full game is only an estimate, using a bit of Peter Higginbotham style footy maths.
Dual position players are only listed once in their first listed position. Eg MID/FWD will be found in MIDS.

Updated team after some suggestions from the community
I reckon Taranto is more likely than not to line up round 1, but it's more a question of how long he can stay in the team. I have in my team right now, but not going to count my chickens just yet.
I feel like Taranto will get Deledio's spot while he's injured, and will need to play well in the opening few rounds to keep his spot and force someone else out
Totally disagree pieman Made a glorious debut with the Demons Delight but hey mate keep flogging him to be a dud better for me. Still pies that's the beauty of this game could be a menapoo or NEALE its only opinion and research.Oliver is my only breakout midprice Sandy and Roughy been there done that.thanks for cash team too mate 14/03/17 11.47 cba cowes Victoria ATM383501 sequence 005138 $100 cheers NEIL
The ball will be the Blues defence more than attack so he should get the ball a fair bit.. If he scores in the 80s (like he did in the JLT series) then he could get above 400k before you offload him.
Thx Tibor, he did, lime all of you I have played around with many teams but dislike have too many midpricers as surely those returning from injury won't all pay off, worried about my rucks as it is 🙂 so for this version I tried without roughy to see how it felt.
No chance lol, had Simpson all last year, which was my first time playing, and he was rock solid. Sentimental point for me and not willing to let go 🙂
What is everyones thoughts on Zak Jones from sydeny, sits @ 307k. Was watching the game last night and he attended center bounces and was in midfield for stints. has a great midfield around him and he mainly kicks. tackles well and goes in hard. Priced to avg around 55 mark, is a risky pod at awkward price but if can avg 80-85 would appreciate to 460-500k. interesting to see what others think as ive liked the look of his game in a good side, 24 odd disposals last night, 21 disposals 11 tackles the game before. heeney out for a few weeks will allow him to roll through midfield again and does rebound from defence.
Looked really good last night and had another cracking JLT game earlier. Run, carry, tackles and kicks more than he handballs. Not super DE last night though St Kilda pressure was on. Also last night Mills was quite and only played around 50 % TOG, he's probably a better user. Unsure how well they will both score and who gets what roles.
Some risk, but slotted into the Capt Risky team nicely.
While I was reading this post terry Wallace was on sen suggesting that Zac would have a breakout season comparable to Merretts last year. With heeney, McVeigh out and Mitchell gone he is very tempting .
Having said that I am currently having horrible Jesse lonergan flashbacks . Mid priced defender, more mid time, breakout season etc … Feels eerily familiar.
Traded him in for Marchbank this morning after thinking about him a couple of weeks ago. Also wanted to trade in Steele previously but went for T Greene instead but strengthened my fwd line by trading in Steele at F6. for Taranto. Had to trade Goldy for Nankervis to achieve these trades. Not keen on having Nakilands as rucks but have the option of trading out Oliver to a cheaper player (Swallow?) if I change my mind. Lloyd (for Jones) is another consideration.
Ruck division a bit thin. Surely Sandi will miss a week here , miss a week there and you will get a doughnut.
Witts as an emergency Ruck could solve that problem.
Good looking team, mitch. You've taken that risk with your rucks so I'd run with it. If Sandi starts to miss games then trade him and move on, trying to get the cash to turn Preuss into Witts would change too much of your team.
Preuss is a chance to play early, as is Cameron. If he does get him in your forward line in place of WHE. Houston can hold down F6. Give you double the insurance
Thought I'd seek some feedback on the latest update, I have literally been doing my head in over this though finally running with this and feel fairly happy. Would love some opinions :
Docherty, Shaw, Adams, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten, Vicker-Willis, Stewart
My only real line of thought now is if I downgrade someone like Selwood to Titchell and upgrade Strna to Preuss or if I downgrade even to Swallow or JOM and potentiall upgrade a rookie to Greene?
I've been tossing this question up myself. I think Port are leaning towards a Ryder/Trengove combo which means Ryder would do most of the ruck work. One thing he has going for him over Nankervis is that he's averaged over 100 in the past. Nankervis is still unproven really so while he's been great in the JLT, he may not measure up in the real stuff.
Having climbed the mountain before certainly does make Ryder out to be the safer of the two doesn't it. I feel as though one of the blokes will make your season while the other will burn you. Absolutely no clue though which is the right selection… might wimp out and select a premo as R1. Problem with that is our top ruck options this year haven't exactly blown us out of the water with their JLT performances. I know it is only JLT and they don't need to prove anything, but certain ruck structures and or fitness issues haven't exactly eased my mind as to who will be top 2 rucks this year.
Hawks rucks are very average. Ryder in my view still hasn't shown us what he has against a gun ruck. I'd be passing on him at this stage for better value or even putting my $$$ into a premo such as Saint Nick who looks set to play on the wing??
Community thoughts on K.Turner? Prior to last season there were massive wraps on the kid out of north before he got into trouble/injured. Has massive potential and looks to be in their best 22..
It's good to be talking rookies Chenz. Looks to be in the best 22. Looks, also, to be capable of making money and some much needed points from our forward rookies. I just need the money to buy him first. Seriously looking at Taranto, but I don't like paying 200k for any rookie.
Only 21 years old and hasn't missed a session all preseason plus played all three jlt games averaging 85% tog, to me that's nothing but good signs going forward for the kid as long as he's learnt from his past off field issues

Thanks for the spread sheet Barron Fantastic tool. However, thrown ruck rookies a curve. Which way to go, loop hole or money makers with Pruess and Cameron? May go with M11 as loophole this season.

Thoughts on my team community?
Docherty, Laird, Jake Lloyd, Hampton, vickers Willis, Tom Stewart (Newman, Guthrie)
I'm not sold. You can't be confident that he'll get the midfield time or attacking roles to have the ability to breakout fully. There isn't much of him either and physically I can't see him surviving long term as a midfielder if he did find a role.

Coniglio out for 6 weeks. Opens up a spot for Taranto.
Thoughts on Jayden Hunt? Acting a demon in my side now I have dropped Gawn, petracca and vince may not be reliable, Viney expensive, so mulling over Hunt and Oliver, both of whom I really like, Salem also. JKH was my pick until injury
I think you need to make sure you start with the best rookies, regardless of which line they're in. Some years you'll fill your midfield with rookies and go deeper everywhere else. This year I imagine it'll be the opposite – deep midfield with more rookies in defence and the forward line.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot but why can't I view the spreadsheet?. All the cells are blank when I open the spreadsheet. Would appreciate some help, thank you.
When you open it and are faced with the blank lines, go down to the bottom of the page and where it says NOTES, you will see to the right of NOTES, Def Mid Ruc Fwd. Just click on the position you want to view and it should open it for you.
Was thinking Vince might be a risk and was thinking about Lloyd from Sydney maybe? I'm ok going with the Higgins risk as I think he'll have a good year and be a top 6 forward this year. He'll get more midfield time at North with the old boys out now
Solid team. Think you need Fwd cover for Sandi. Given the risk profile in the mids, consider Higgins & Black to Nank & another rookie like Butler or Houston?
Thanks RIvo I had thought long and hard about cover for Sandi but cash wise I think I'm done. Only got $13k left and If I trade Vince for Lloyd I'll only have around $50k. Boyd isn't really for me at this stage. Fingers crossed Sandi stays fit and I don't have to trade until the byes
Any of those three besides eddy. Personally I would go black as I don't see him in Geelongs best 22

Is anyone considering Hickey as a viable option ?
As a Saints fan I may be biased but he was on my radar well before his BOG last night. Regarding the conversations about "lone wolf" ruckmen I can't envision a Saints lineup with both Hickey and Longer in it. Bruce, McCartin, and Membery, Roo on a wing, coupled with the all the mids and running types competing for selection may see Billy as the best Ruck in the VFL this year.
A non SC related aside … Longer may be the most important player on the Saints list. When one of Sandilands huge legs drops off during the year we can use Longer and some of our juicy draft picks to get "FYFE".
He's a very up and down option, Juzzy. If you look at his stats from last year, if he cracked the ton one week then he struggled to back that up the week after. I reckon there are better options personally.
With the lack of rookies , and this now, Taranto is almost lock(ish).
He is currently in my team but I am still concerned that the GWS seconds have 132 first round draft picks in it.
It's kinda funny … this is the team we relied on only a few years back for solid, game time, cash generating rookies.
Now I don't trust this young gun to string 3 games together without being dropped …

Hey guys,
Bit late to the party this year. Let me know if any feedback!
That's a pretty risky midfield. Fyfe, Beams, O'Meara and Swallow didn't really play at all last year and Robbie Gray has hardly played any JLT game time. Your other lines are good, but I would maybe suggest trading out a defence premium to perhaps Caleb Marchbank and using the extra cash to upgrade a Beams/O'Meara to a less risky selection.

Simpson or Laird very confused weather who to pick
Love the z jones pick in the backline. Everyone talking about Heeney and Mills getting the midfield time when titch left but i think jones is the man who has that spot.
Solid team Doc.

Thoughts on my team fellas?
I cant bring myself to have rough at f3 but that will be the only way i can get marchbank and taranto
I am not sure about McInnes and his job security so if you have any better picks I would love to hear them.
Also I have gone a bit less expensive down back because I am really struggling to find mid rookies that can play on field so instead of laird I made him Selwood and then put McInnes instead of Taranto because I'm worried about Taranto job security. But wuthciniglio out he could be a better option.
With nankilands I am going to see if Gawn lines up as a lone ruckman when teams come out and is so I will make Selwood into Gawn and nank into JOM.
Cash league update. I'll check my spreadsheet tomorrow but I think league 2 is now closed with all 18 paid up members. Cash league 1 has a few outstanding that I haven't heard from. Couple of boys paying up Thursday. But the other 3 or 4 please make contact via email or remove your team if you have no intention to pay up. Or Friday I'll be using the trade button & bringing in people off the waiting list. Cheers
Need to consider Danger averaged 13ish point more than the next bloke last year(almost 300 points total). He has a huge ceiling and is generally an excellent option as a captain. Only plays 5 friday/thursday night games so if your loopholing you can have a crack with someone else just about every week before relying upon danger.

Hey community,
About the only thing that had bit changed in the last few weeks are the Mids.
Trying something different with loophole and moved Strnadica to the fwd bench and have Preuss as R3 – Could change
You are better off having Miles on the forward bench and running Deluca-Cardillo at M11. Means you have 2 choices at forward cover – not just Eddy. You still have 2 mids as cover.

Anyone think either J. Ramsay and J.Thurlow could be worth a go? Or would Marchbank be a safer option?
Hello community,
I'm torn with this and would appreciate your thoughts :
Steele Vs Taranto Vs Cam Macarthy at F5 ?
I have Dalhouse, Buddy & Greene to top the forwards.
Thanks a ton!
Updated team after some suggestions from the community
Def: Doch, Laird, Tuohy, Hampton, Vickers-Willis, Stewart (Melican, Guthrie)
Mid: Danger, JPK, Selwood, Bont, Fyfe, TMitch, Omeara, SPP (Barrett, Wigg, Hibberd)
Ruc: Gawn, Sandi (Cameron)
Fwd: Dahl, Lynch, Rough, Steele, Mile, Butler (Eddy, Parfitt)
Can't see Guthrie getting a game early. Or Melican or wigg or Cameron or miles or butler or parfitt. The rest looks good
My rookies will change as R1 teams are named
the best team ive seen sooo far!
need Shaw down back
Superb Barron! Interesting to note that no forward rookies averaged over 80 other than Taranto
Will he get consistent games though?
That is the question… Lots of cheap rookie forwards around but not all of them have averaged well
I reckon Taranto is more likely than not to line up round 1, but it's more a question of how long he can stay in the team. I have in my team right now, but not going to count my chickens just yet.
I feel like Taranto will get Deledio's spot while he's injured, and will need to play well in the opening few rounds to keep his spot and force someone else out
Coniglio out for 6…enough time for Taranto to play and make cash
was just about to mention this, Coniglio being out makes Taranto a must have IMO
6 weeks so he could only miss 4 rounds. Is that enough time for Taranto to make cash?
Some but not enough really. I try not cash in before 3 price changes min but preferably 5.
Some slim pickings in that lot.
The best options for cash generation look like the rucks! ….Sandilands, Nankervis, Witts, Vardy, Spencer then ?'s- Pruess, Cameron, Longer
Light in the rucks and spend the $ elsewhere for me.
Sounds risky to me captain..
Absolutely 🙂 A high chance of regret at some point in time. Until then, full gas and flying by the seat of my pants!
Need 4 bench spots in the Rucks…that one position not enough anymore
New plan… 28 bench spots
Totally agree….Nankilands = 1 mid prem that I dont have to trade in, and hopefully a 400k cash boost after8-10 rounds.
Jeez this made me think long and hard about my ruck division Captain. You might be onto something here!
Thoughts on Clayton Oliver?
Too much risk attached to him, probably wait if you really want him
He could be good, he could be a trap. JLT form can be an illusion.
No chance of being a top 10 mid & too expensive as ride up player. Pass
Got it Neil. Check your email please mate
I sent jock an email regarding cash league. My email address is 005342 at gmail dot com. Hit me up if there are still spots. Cheers Andrew
Is Marchbank a JLT Trap? and who is the best mid between 550-585k? (Besides Fyfe)
Not sold on Marchbank, but not sure who else to go with have Hampton for D4 stuck for D5/6.
Mid field option love T. Mitchell huge potential.
The ball will be the Blues defence more than attack so he should get the ball a fair bit.. If he scores in the 80s (like he did in the JLT series) then he could get above 400k before you offload him.
1. scoring in the 80s won't get you to 400. 2. he won't score in the 80s. JLT trap. he is kpp.
Lies.
That's the plan Damo!
Def – Shaw, Simpson, Laird, Hampton, Hibberd (NM) Otten (EVW, Stewart)
Mid – Danger, Treloar, Parker, Titch, Priddus, Fyfe, Oliver, JOM (Barrett, Miles, Parfitt)
Ruck – Nank, Sandi (Cameron)
Fwd – Roo, Greene, Dahl, Pickett, Butler, Eddy (Begley, Houston)
$95k left.
Thoughts pls 🙂 first team I’ve tried with no premo ruck and not sure it sits well with me. All rookies subject to change/bench swap of course.
Looks pretty good demon, maybe a fwd line question, did rough come under consideration
Thx Tibor, he did, lime all of you I have played around with many teams but dislike have too many midpricers as surely those returning from injury won't all pay off, worried about my rucks as it is 🙂 so for this version I tried without roughy to see how it felt.
Doc for Simpson and you have nailed it.
No chance lol, had Simpson all last year, which was my first time playing, and he was rock solid. Sentimental point for me and not willing to let go 🙂
SPP
how dont you have SPP? only mid rookie we can trust at the moment
who is nank?
Top shelf write up Barron. You clearly posses the excel skills that many lie about on their resumes.
30 likes champ…. gotta be a record!

There is a Lonegran stench about it for sure

Ruck division a bit thin. Surely Sandi will miss a week here , miss a week there and you will get a doughnut.
Witts as an emergency Ruck could solve that problem.
Thanks big daz
I really like this team, I am looking at similar set up in rucks but with Witts as a backup.

Isn't Huston still a rookie and likely to stay that way?
Cue Supercoach Spud question regarding a West Coast midfielder.
Wait my bad looks like he's already asked it above and it's been deleted. Spam I assume.
Maybe he's finally worked out an answer
Probably Cousins.
Hi Community
Thoughts on my midfield please.
Dangerfield, Kennedy, Treloar, Fyfe, T.Mitchell, Beams, JOM, Swallow (SPP, Barrett, Hibberd).
Thanks.
dump swallow and play spp on field to eliminate too much risk in your mids, personally id take JOM out as well and upgrade him to a prem
Swallow is a waste. Replace him and you are on the ball.
I wasn't very happy with what I saw swallow spitting out
Look bad Pieman?
Who is SPP?
Thought I'd seek some feedback on the latest update, I have literally been doing my head in over this though finally running with this and feel fairly happy. Would love some opinions :
Docherty, Shaw, Adams, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten, Vicker-Willis, Stewart
Dangerfield, Pendles, Selwood, Trealor, Fyfe, Beams, Oliver, Powell-Pepper, Pickett, Hibberd, Parfitt
Nank, Sandi, Strna
Dalhaus, Franklin, Roughhead, Steele, Taranto, Miles, Houston, Eddy.
My only real line of thought now is if I downgrade someone like Selwood to Titchell and upgrade Strna to Preuss or if I downgrade even to Swallow or JOM and potentiall upgrade a rookie to Greene?
James Harden reference as to your name?
Haha, I been growing 1 before his fame mate!
Though I am a huge fan too 😉
Any comment on the team lol and questions though?
I'd personally downgrade Oliver to a rookie and then upgrade Steele to a premium.
Thanks mate, might drop Oliver to JOM and upgrade Strna to Preuss just for more cash. Happy to hold Steele.
Yeh I thought about running JOM too though it was him or Oliver I think for me.
Ryder lock if named as lone ruckman? Or is the Nank still high on the Community's arousal curves?
I've been tossing this question up myself. I think Port are leaning towards a Ryder/Trengove combo which means Ryder would do most of the ruck work. Hawks rucks are very average. Ryder in my view still hasn't shown us what he has against a gun ruck. I'd be passing on him at this stage for better value or even putting my $$$ into a premo such as Saint Nick who looks set to play on the wing??
Nick or Buddy is the question???
Nick I'm going with playing up the ground more
Community thoughts on K.Turner? Prior to last season there were massive wraps on the kid out of north before he got into trouble/injured. Has massive potential and looks to be in their best 22..
In my team, but that's not a good guide! Has potential, and I think he's in the 22 as well, which is the biggest bonus given the options available.
It's good to be talking rookies Chenz. Looks to be in the best 22. Looks, also, to be capable of making money and some much needed points from our forward rookies. I just need the money to buy him first. Seriously looking at Taranto, but I don't like paying 200k for any rookie.

Danger, Hanners, Jelwood, Treloar, Fyfe, Titch, JOM, SPP, ( Brodie, Barrett and Atley )
Hickey, Sandi ( Pruess )
Dahl, Rough, Steele, WHE, Taranto, Pickett, ( Houston and Eddy )
have 51k left in the kitty.
Would spend the cash to strengthen your Rucks.
I have 0 confidence in any R1 so far
doc, shaw, laird, thurlow, hampton, EVW (hibberd, stewart)
Danger, Selwood, Treloar, Sloane, Fyfe, beams, JOM, SPP (barrett, wigg, parfitt)
Nankervis, Sandilands (Strnadica)
Dahlhaus, Macrae, Roughy, Steele, Taranto, Pickett (Black, Eddy)
68,900 in the kitty
thoughts lads?
upgrade Beams with the 68k. Sloane has had interrupted pre-season no contact work

Gawn, Sandi (Strandica)
Dahl, T Lynch, Roughy, Nankervis, Black, Eddy, (Pickett, T Smith)
Black & Wigg & Guthrie & Black can pretty much all be cut. T Smith too down in the forwards.
Gawn is a ballsy move.
I have lloyd also he will breakout
Lloyd from sydney ? Break out season ?
Highly likely.
He's got my interest
Careful with lloyd, Hannebery, Kennedy didnt look like they were going 100%
As good as Adams and cheaper too
I'm not sold. You can't be confident that he'll get the midfield time or attacking roles to have the ability to breakout fully. There isn't much of him either and physically I can't see him surviving long term as a midfielder if he did find a role.

Thank you community
Are any of T Adams, Vince, Mills or Tuohy top 6 defenders?
I think Tuohy and Adams are a chance. I dont see the others top 6. Maybe pushing for top 10
I had Tuohy all pre season though just upgraded him to Doch.
Not confident in his scores. If he pulls the 70-80 in the real deal its not making us money and not enough for the top ds.
Have Adams and his price is the same as Lairds so easy change if needed.
He had two scores over 125 and a 76…
Tuohy was a good player in a avg side. In a better outfit his projection will escalate. Carlton supporter and realist.
Only one of them.
Adams best option for mine.
Selwood or the One and only BONT
Bont hasn't had much of a pre season so im not sure and Selwood is and around gun
Selwood
Back yourself in Bont
Gone Selwood myself. Had Bont until he has not really looked right and heard injuries on ankle still bothering him.
Was going to switch Selwood to a SYD mid as I have none but think Selwood has to be picked.
grundy or stef martin

yeah ive gone grundy
Hi All,
Thoughts on below team… Version 12,863.
Docherty, Shaw, Adams, Z.Jones,Hampton, Otten ( Stewart, Guthrie)
Danger, Pendles, Josh Kennedy,Fyfe, Josh Kelly,Beams,JOM,SPP (Wigg,Hibberd,Lloyd)
Gawn,Sandi (Cameron)
Dahlhaus,Nanky,Steele,Hrovat,Taranto,Eddy (Pickett, Houston)
Best team I have seen.
lol trash.
Forward Line looking a little thin, and personally I don't like Hrovat.
selwood
I don't want two hawks mids in my team who to get out of t mitch or JOM? and cash isn't a problem
Titch
I wouldn't want 2 syd mids or 2 geel mids or 2 coll mids either, absolutely ridiculous comment,
Im getting the sarcasm here and it's timely as I was wondering about;
Danger, Selwood
Pendles, Treloar
Rocky, Beams
Torch, JOM
Bench: JPK, Hanners
Thats a beautiful midfield Hazey
Would love some feed back on my side guys
Shaw, Laird, Vince, Marchbank, Hampton, Stewart, EVW, Otten
Dangerfield, JPK, J. Selwood, Treloar, Fyfe, Beams, JOM, SPP, Barett, Miles, Hibberd
Gawn, Sandi, Stmadica
N Riewoldt, Dahl, Higgins, Taranto, Black, J Pickett, Parfitt, Eddy
Vince and Higgins are risks. Black = No.
Gawn and Guthrie
or
Grundy and Marchbank
Grundy/Marchbank because Guthrie i doubt will play seniors very much
Guthrie hyper extended his knee in JLT 2. Not sure how long he's going to miss
Wrong brother
Who do i get rid of for McCarthy
Black, Butler, Houston, Eddy
One can dream …..
He's a very up and down option, Juzzy. If you look at his stats from last year, if he cracked the ton one week then he struggled to back that up the week after. I reckon there are better options personally.
Thanks Jezza. Appreciate the feedback.
Was in my rucks pre-JLT but those first 2 games have me too worried,
Coniglio out for 6…Taranto?
With the lack of rookies , and this now, Taranto is almost lock(ish).
He is currently in my team but I am still concerned that the GWS seconds have 132 first round draft picks in it.
It's kinda funny … this is the team we relied on only a few years back for solid, game time, cash generating rookies.
Now I don't trust this young gun to string 3 games together without being dropped …
Hey guys,
Bit late to the party this year. Let me know if any feedback!
Def: Docherty, Shaw, Adams, Laird, Hampton, Vickers-Willis (Ryan, Stewart)
Mid: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Gray, Fyfe, Beams, O'Meara, Swallow, Brodie (Powell-Pepper, Barrett, Hibberd)
Ruc: Gawn, Sandilands (Strnadica)
Fwd: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Roughead, McCarthy, Black, Pickett (Smith, Eddy)
Cheers!
Both will finish top 6 defenders (in my opinion) so your selection will either come down to personal preference or bye structures.
Taranto and laird
Or
Selwood and McInnes
Taranto and Laird
McKinnes I had in my team until he didn't play the latter half of the JLT. I think a good option when he comes in when you look at his scoring
Luke Parker or JPK??
JPK
Parker.
Has better recent numbers v teams Sydney play first two months compared to JPK. Target JPK during byes as an upgrade.
Bowes at F6 to replace Black? Have Houston & Eddy on the bench.
Is it a good idea to start with 2 mids from the same team?
As long as the overall balance of your team for bye rounds isn't affected, why not?
Agree with Brownlow. Have had 2 mids for the same team plenty of times
I was going with Danger & Hanners for a long time but have gone Danger & Selwood like l started with last year.
They served me well last year shake, and Pendles. Not changing that trio
Funny but sometimes l like to keep faith with players ive went with in the past.
I was wondering about;
Danger, Selwood
Pendles, Treloar
Rocky, Beams
Torch, JOM
Bench: JPK, Hanners
Call me KRAZY!
Lads, any suggestions on this latest version:
D: Shaw, Laird, z.jones, Hampton, often, v-w (Melican, t.srewart)
M: danger, hanners, Selwood, treloar, Fyfe, titch, beams, P-P (Barrett, wigg, hibberd).
R: Martin, Sandi (preuss).
F: Dahl, McCrae, Higgins, roughy, H-E, eddy (begley, miles).
10k left.
Doc Martin is a risk. Not sure of Higgins, either.
D: Shaw, Adams, Laird, Marchbank, Hampton, EVW (Stewart, Guthrie)
M: Danger, Pendles, JPK, Tmitch, Fyfe, Beams, Swallow, SPP (Miles, Wigg, Parafit)
R: Grundy, Sandi (standica)
F: Dahl, Buddy, Rough, Nank, Taranto, Pickett (Eddy, Houston)
Is anyone going lukey Parker?? And why/why not
Yep, is less selected than the other two and will come out hard.
Bit worried about limited pre season but looks good.
higher injury risk
Yes.
Reasons outlined above, in other comments. Plus also believe he's open to more improvement than the other two.
You'll be kicking yourself for not picking the other two come finals time
May have one of them in by then. If i even make finals.
Wouldlove your thoughts on my team, I've been changing it up for a while now and I think I'm getting closer to the final product.
DEF: Simpson, Shaw, marrchank, Hampton, McInnes, otten ( EVW, Stewart)
MID: danger, hanners, Selwood, treloar, Fyfe, titch, beams, SPP ( Barrett, hibberd, parfitt)
RUC: nank, sandi ( preuss)
FWD: rooey, Dahl, franklin, roughy, McCarthy, Pickett( Eddy, Cameron)
I have 10k in the bank
I am not sure about McInnes and his job security so if you have any better picks I would love to hear them.
Also I have gone a bit less expensive down back because I am really struggling to find mid rookies that can play on field so instead of laird I made him Selwood and then put McInnes instead of Taranto because I'm worried about Taranto job security. But wuthciniglio out he could be a better option.
With nankilands I am going to see if Gawn lines up as a lone ruckman when teams come out and is so I will make Selwood into Gawn and nank into JOM.
would love your thoughts
If you are looking for 1,800 per round, you have nailed it. Backine a risk , Centre is ok, Ruck is very average and Forward is good.
McInnes played JLT1 when West Coast brought over their 3rd's to Sydney to play GWS.
Barron's rookie spreadsheet is great but can't be used by itself
Z.Jones or J.Hunt?
also thoughts on M.Kennedy?
Z Jones every day of the week.
Logue or McInnes
Turner or Hoskin Elliot
I have a quick question ..
After thursday nights game do we still have unlimited trades and start with 30 round 2 or do we start with 30 then
Yes. Unlimited trades until the last game of Round 1 starts.
Na unlimited until end of round 1and then we start
Hey community, is there anything wrong with having 7 premos in the mid? I am able to this as i am starting nank and ryder in the ruck as of now.
depends who the 7 are? i have run that idea a few times
I have 8 if you include Beams….Danger, pendles, hanners, beams, jelwood, treloar, fyfe, steven
Light on def and rucks
nankilands the rucks……
Almost identical to my midfield!
Who is Logue ?
Griffen Logue pick 7 from last years draft
Cash league update. I'll check my spreadsheet tomorrow but I think league 2 is now closed with all 18 paid up members. Cash league 1 has a few outstanding that I haven't heard from. Couple of boys paying up Thursday. But the other 3 or 4 please make contact via email or remove your team if you have no intention to pay up. Or Friday I'll be using the trade button & bringing in people off the waiting list. Cheers
How do we join mate? Any spots left?
Brad email [email protected] he will forward details to me & I'll be in touch via email

all good
Need some help, I feel a little lost with the ruck situation and also the forward line. Thoughts appreciated community.
DEF: Simpson, Laird, Tuohy, Marchbank, Hampton, Stewart (EVW, Otten)
MID: Danger, JPK, Priddis, Bont, Fyfe, T.Mitchell, SPP, Barrett (Hibberd, Pickett, Wigg)
RUCK: Nankilands (Strnadica)
FWD: N.Riewoldt, Dalhaus, Macrae, Rough, McCarthy,Eddy (Black, Turner)
Rookies are not set obviously. About 60k left.
Thanks
Was hoping i could get some thoughts from the community?
129.7k in bank
Def. Shaw, adams, laird, hampton, VW, stewart, (otten, guthrie)
Mid. Danger, zorko, fyfe, titch, beams, omearer, taranto, powell-pepper (barrett, m.hibberd, wigg)
Ruc. Grundy, sandi (strnadica)
Fwd. Dahl, macrae, t.lynch, greene, roughead, black (miles, eddy)
My first thought is Miles to Shoenmakers?
I don't think Miles will play round 1. I'd swap him for Pickett. Pickett will play and has DPP.
Use the extra cash in your bank to upgrade Zorko to an ultra premium. Can use this as the VC option behind Dangerfield.

Match your team against the Big Boys 😉

Any prizes for the winner?
i'll talk to Pieman and see if the winner gets entry to the cashy leagues next year.
Cheers Derek. Will be fun .
112k left, any feedback will be taken on board
cheers fellas…..

No Danger = No Hope
well i think thats a bit dramatic, can't all have the same bloke in your teams
Need to consider Danger averaged 13ish point more than the next bloke last year(almost 300 points total). He has a huge ceiling and is generally an excellent option as a captain. Only plays 5 friday/thursday night games so if your loopholing you can have a crack with someone else just about every week before relying upon danger.
Hey community,
About the only thing that had bit changed in the last few weeks are the Mids.
Trying something different with loophole and moved Strnadica to the fwd bench and have Preuss as R3 – Could change
What do we think?
Adams Laird Mills Marchbank Hampton VW (Otten, Stewart)
Danger Hanners Treloar Priddis Fyfe Beams JOM SPP (Pickett Miles Hibberd)
Nank Sandi (Preuss)
Roo Dahl Feanklin Roughie Taranto Black (Strnadica Eddy)
You are better off having Miles on the forward bench and running Deluca-Cardillo at M11. Means you have 2 choices at forward cover – not just Eddy. You still have 2 mids as cover.
Anyone think either J. Ramsay and J.Thurlow could be worth a go? Or would Marchbank be a safer option?
Also, Bont or T Mitch?
More upside to Tmitch I would think. But you wont go wrong either way!
yep 🙂
Shaw, Laird, Thurlow, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten….
Hello community,
I'm torn with this and would appreciate your thoughts :
Steele Vs Taranto Vs Cam Macarthy at F5 ?
I have Dalhouse, Buddy & Greene to top the forwards.
Thanks a ton!
All of them boom forward line complete.
hey baron, what would i need to do to get this for all the JTL players? what sort of donation are we talkin'?
Hi community,
What's your thoughts on Josh Thomas up front as a stepping stone $193k
Cheers
who?
Not sure he is best 22. Needs to get upgrade from rookie list. And has had injury issues pre season.
Is it better to go
Cameroon or Strnadice
Thought please?
Def: Doch, adams, laird, hampton, otten, vickers-willis (stewart, z. guthrie)

Ruck: Grundy, sandi (strnadica)

Have 132k left in the bank
Currently have no Jaeger, no D Swallow, no Tarantino, no Cam McC
