Confirmed Suckling out for at least 4 weeks.

Steeeve · 26/04/2016 at 16:26

Thinking I'll hold this week. I have no Fyfe and no real urgency to trade out Dea, BenKen or Menadue. Even if they're done fattening I'd rather wait until bubble boys arrive. Also, Dusty and Robbie Gray looking even tastier after another week or two of price drops.

    Northernsoul74 · 26/04/2016 at 16:30

Right move. Hold unless you need to get rid of Fyfe.

james · 26/04/2016 at 16:39

been playing around with some potential trades, and would like some thoughts

Laird, Adams, Houli, Weitering, Dea, DBJ (Byrne, Ruggles)

Dangerfield, Ablett, Hannebery, Priddis, RGray, Taylor Adams, Shiel, Parish (Hewett, Davis, Gresham)

Gawn, Nic Nat (Lorensch – for loophole)

Hall, Wells, Kerridge, De Goey, Benken, AMT (Menadue, Petraca)

I have 518k in the bank and the trades I was thinking of were
Dea ——> Buddy
BenKen—–> Zorko

i feel like both of these rookies need to go and bringing in the two above will mean my Fwd line will be strong but my only concern is having 4 onfield rookies in the backline, so my question community is it better to trade Dea to a Fwd premo or Defence Premo

finally thanks community for all the advice, im sitting at 10,000 so not panic stations yet

    Jake · 26/04/2016 at 20:47

I like them trades James, but keep in mind you're buying those players at peak price. Dusty and Wingard will be good trades in the coming weeks.

Sean · 26/04/2016 at 16:40

what are people doing with M.Brown? Have the money to upgrade to fantasia but might just hold?

    CJudd3Votes · 26/04/2016 at 16:49

I'd hold. BE of 11 no need to use a trade he isnt going to go down in value for a bit

      Sean · 26/04/2016 at 16:50

yeah didnt realise it was so low. Cheers mate

    BKW · 26/04/2016 at 17:05

He's a slow burner providing bench coverage. Hopefully he gets up to $250 then time to sell

    Jimi · 26/04/2016 at 23:27

If you were going to upgrade I wouldn't do it to Fantasia. Either drop him to a bubble rookie or upgrade him to a season long keeper.

    murray · 27/04/2016 at 09:07

    just hold him for now

Boltons Blues · 26/04/2016 at 16:41

will help to know how your bank is sitting right now, but without knowing

Fyfe >> Parker

jim · 26/04/2016 at 16:43

Should i go martin to gawn or suckling to a premo?

    I N Pieman · 26/04/2016 at 16:59

Suckling out for a month. Send him up. Martin playing. Hang onto him. Will come good

    BKW · 26/04/2016 at 17:07

Gotta move suckling pig – out for a minimum of four weeks

    Soothsayer · 27/04/2016 at 16:00

I did Suckling up to Gray two weeks ago…..might be a better move now?

Tret · 26/04/2016 at 16:44

anyone else having a shit season? Have been top 1-3% last 3 years but im ranked at almost 40,000 now. Started with a pretty stock-standard team, not too many PODs but obviously im no jock reynolds

These podcasts only thing keeping me from rage quitting at the moment

    Marcus · 26/04/2016 at 16:55

Finished600 lastyear and im 26,000 atm

    I N Pieman · 26/04/2016 at 17:01

Hang in there. I was 20k going into the byes last year & having a stinker. Clawed my way back to 1100th season end

    Ronny · 26/04/2016 at 17:03

Finished top 100 last year and in top 600 the two years before. Currently at 22000 this year with nothing seeming to work. Even upgrades are costing me points. Long season though and things will turn around.

      Tret · 26/04/2016 at 17:16

haha everyone ive traded in so far has come in and scored under 70. Might just start planning for 2017

        Jimi · 26/04/2016 at 23:29

That always happens the week you trade them in! Did it myself with Greene up to Sam Mitchell this week. They usually pay off in the long term so keep at it mate.

    Ben · 26/04/2016 at 17:12

Exact same boat as you mate top 1% three years running and this year sitting at 23000

    Tophawk · 26/04/2016 at 18:15

I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. If you can stabilise your side with some sound strategic trades, you can rise up the rankings very quickly. Your next goal should be to get through the byes with flying colours. Many coaches fall over during the bye rounds. Perhaps you need to be super focused to start trading in players with the byes well and truely in mind right now. When other coaches are scrambling during these 3 rounds, you can make up some nice ground during that time. Anything can happen after that.

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 11:29

Don't worry Tret, your results speak for itself. As the season unfolds, the cream will rise to the top.Its only R5 therefore alot of people (experienced and rookies) still have the same teams.

Boz33 · 26/04/2016 at 16:52

do I go crouch to tracca if tracca is named this weekend? to make cash for weitering and kennedy upgrades next rd

    Benji · 26/04/2016 at 18:11

No. Wait until he is on the bubble, then trade him in. Anything can happen, if he gets injured or suspended in his first 2 games, you won't be happy. Even though he is a much better player than Ruggles, everyone who jumped on him after 1 game wouldn't be to happy with him.

    Randomclcihe · 26/04/2016 at 19:06

Depends if crouch named… but plenty of other cows to send to the butcher regardless

      Randomclcihe · 26/04/2016 at 19:07

      Assuming that is b crouch

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:41

No you've held crouch this long you hold, BE of 24 due for his first price rise.

shemmistwarehouse · 26/04/2016 at 16:53

hi community, thoughts on dea-boyd? I know he's old but he still aveaged 103 last year. He's a good price at 490k and i think he can average 90-100 for the season. What do you think?

    CJudd3Votes · 26/04/2016 at 16:59

Depends how superstitious you are, going by Doggies luck with backman atm he's only a week away from snapping his leg in half and missing the rest of the year

      Tret · 26/04/2016 at 17:07

bad luck comes in 3s and its already happened to Murphy, Suckling and JJ. Boyds good to go 😉

    shemmistwarehouse · 26/04/2016 at 17:01

its also the fact that he should get a good role off half back with them gone!

    Puopolo_Culture · 26/04/2016 at 23:00

I am also looking at Boyd. Simpson and Docherty are also on my list

    Jimi · 26/04/2016 at 23:30

Not looking at any defenders just yet, my focus is on full premo mids and fwds first.

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:10

A lot of the predicted top defenders are up and down (Houli/Shaw/Gibson), in and out (Rance/JJ/Gibson)

The only people who have been solid is Laird, Simpson and Docherty it seems.

I like the idea of using the rookies back there to their full extent and getting the midfield premos and to a lesser extent the forward line sorted. Backline last.

Pinidu · 26/04/2016 at 16:56

Community, you thoughts on the following possible Fyfe-replacements please, (these are pod midfielders)

– Dan Hannerbery
– Steele Sidebottom
– Sam Mitchell
– Rory Sloane
– Joel Selwood

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance

    Flaccid Jaff · 26/04/2016 at 17:00

Selwood, sloane, hannerbery, sidebottom then mitchell. IMO

    Benji · 26/04/2016 at 18:08

    Selwood and Hannebery YES
Everyone else on that list NO

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:24

Hannebery or Selwood. Sloane possibly. Not Mitchell or Sidebum.

    Jake · 26/04/2016 at 20:51

Hanners, Sidebottom, Selwood, in order for me.

CJudd3Votes · 26/04/2016 at 16:57

Weird round just gone, plenty of decent scores but a few blokes including myself got shafted through an unlucky combination of every who decided to spud it up (looking at you Gray, Fyfe, BenKen etc.)

Flaccid Jaff · 26/04/2016 at 16:58

Is kade simpson a top 6 defender or thereabouts? If so this is the week to get him. Will he average more than docherty? Looking at getting shaw in next week too if he scores above 95.

    Benji · 26/04/2016 at 18:09

I like Docherty more than Simpson, but both would be close to a top 6 defender. 95 ish average most likely for both players.

    Randomclcihe · 26/04/2016 at 19:09

Maybe not top 6 but points diff between him and 6th will be negligible

    Hawks · 26/04/2016 at 20:49

Simpson will be top 6. Has been a consistent performer over the past few years. Taken more responsibility this year.

Simpson will be more consistent than Docherty, and average slightly more.

Pinidu · 26/04/2016 at 16:58

Suckling to PREMO mate. No point trading Martin

Michael · 26/04/2016 at 17:09

Simpson or laird for dea

    tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 18:40

    Laird IMO

Luke · 26/04/2016 at 17:14

Simpson or dockerty for dea

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:25

Crystal ball job there, go with your gut.

    Jake · 26/04/2016 at 20:58

    Flip a coin

MBJ · 26/04/2016 at 17:14

Community. I have 524k for any premium for any position except the rucks

Kev · 26/04/2016 at 17:18

What moves are you thinking mate?

Bobby Singh · 26/04/2016 at 17:18

I've used up about 5 trades so far this season, I'm going Fyfe to Pendlebury, is it worth trading Dea to Parker (through DPP) or should I conserve my trades?

    Benji · 26/04/2016 at 18:13

Definitely! If you can upgrade a rookie to a keeper you should do it in a heartbeat. Maybe not Parker, but getting any elite mid for Dea would be a huge win.

    licorice jellys · 27/04/2016 at 12:06

If you have DBJ to move off the bench go for it mate. Parkers a great choice, will end up in the top 10 mids given he gets through the season without injuries, which is why I started with him along with selwood. Just make sure u got someone to cover for dea without sacrificing points on field.

Kev · 26/04/2016 at 17:28

SGray projected to lose another 23k on top of the 91k he's already bled. I can't even say it's been a rollercoaster owning you buddy, more like a giant drop. Will go down as one of my greatest stain in the underpants pick.

Fyfe to Selwood
Gray to Hall

    Keithy · 26/04/2016 at 17:36

I'm hearing you Kev, too late to trade now. We just have to sit it out until we can use him as bench cover for the forward/midfield. Can't wait to bench him, definitely one of the worst picks of the season.

      Kev · 26/04/2016 at 18:48

I convinced myself of that last week, Keithy! That he couldn't get any worse, surely not, then he comes out with an effort like that (which I'm not sure you can even call effort).

The only reason I don't like the trade is because it will empty the cash I have, cash I was hoping to use come upgrade time.

      murray · 27/04/2016 at 09:09

I chop the bastard Keithy, he is not going to do anything this year and is only going to bleed more cash, Get out now whilst you can get $400k from him and get a more reliable option

    Pman35 · 26/04/2016 at 20:12

I traded the mega spud 2 weeks ago for Zorko The Magnificent and have been duly rewarded and never happier! S Gray is season 2016's "Burn Man".

    GoldRush · 27/04/2016 at 00:20

The spud should change his name from Sam to Cliff.

    murray · 27/04/2016 at 09:02

He Shit, Kev. I should have turfed him last week, cost me a win in my money league

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:44

You have to listen to the podcasts mate.

Crouching one's little Grayling story summed it up last week.

There is only one Gray worth having. (and even he is spudding it up at the moment)

DankMemes · 26/04/2016 at 17:28

Getting my shark on this week lads. Fyfe to Lyons and Callum (The #%^$#%^ Spud) Sinclair to petracca. will have 1.2 mill in bank

    Matt · 26/04/2016 at 18:54

Im a big fan of Lyons, however i dont think he will keep the 90ave coming. especially since last year he averaged 44 over 12 games. more likely to average 65-80 this year

      DankMemes · 26/04/2016 at 19:05

If i get 80 avg out of the Lyon King ill be happy, any more and thats just gravy.

      Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:26

His low games were all sub affected Matt, he wore 8 of them last year.

      Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:28

And fairly sure he came into the game wearing the vest, not the other way round, so his scoring is actually good for time on ground.

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:29

Not saying trade him in for 300k though, High risk move looked better when i picked him up for 240k.

    Jake · 26/04/2016 at 21:01

I wouldnt trade in Petracca this week if your gunna have 1.2 mill in the bank. Have a look at him first. Get yourself a Zorko or a Dahlhouse if you have that sort of money.

DDJ · 26/04/2016 at 17:33

Interesting to have no mention of the zack smith dilemma or thoughts on weiterings 79 B/E. I think I'll hold weitering but zack smith is a real concern, should we hold or trade?

I have $589k and 27 trades remaining, what ruckman would be worth looking at other than Naitanui if I were to trade smith? Goldy and Gawn are too expensive at the moment for my liking.

Also thoughts on Ben ken to Brodie smith via dpp? I reckon there's a bit of value in that trade or would Tom lee be a smarter move?

    Boltons Blues · 26/04/2016 at 18:04

620k for 2 games above 150 is to much? not for me

Gawn or Goldy are must haves

      Crowmagnon · 26/04/2016 at 18:49

I would put Gawn straight in, then sit back and enjoy the massive points each week.

    Pman35 · 26/04/2016 at 20:15

I dumped Z Smith for Blicavs 2 weeks ago and he stunk it up with a 50 odd first fame but came back strongly this week with 115. I had him last year and he will avg over 100 for season and is durable. Also have Max Gawn who is SC Gold!

    Jimi · 26/04/2016 at 23:40

I'll be holding Weitering, Dea and Adams for as long as they can keep their scoring up, regardless of whether their prices plateau. Collectively they've been reliable for an 80 average which is enough to keep my defence ticking over while I focus on upgrading the other lines.

The only rucks worth having this year are Goldy, Gawn and Nic Nat – maybe Blicavs for a POD but not worth it IMO. I'd still favour Goldy over Gawn just because of his consistency the last few years.

Ben Ken to B Smith? All depends on if you think Smith is a defensive keeper, otherwise Tom Lee is the obvious downgrade target for this round. Personally I'm looking at Kennedy as a means to getting Zorko/Dahlhaus/Selwood type upgrade rather than upgrading anything in defence.

Chill · 26/04/2016 at 17:35

Community I would love your thoughts on who will be the top 6 defenders by year end.
Shaw… Laird… Simpson..?

    Derek · 26/04/2016 at 18:21

I'm thinking; Shaw, Laird, McVeigh, Bartel, Rance, Dawson

      tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 18:51

Dawson #1 defender this year imo

        Derek · 26/04/2016 at 19:16

I'm thinking he will slot straight into the guts to fill Fyfes role

        Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:29

Maybe brownlow on the cards for dawson?

Like the bartel pick for top 6 defender too Derek he has the potential of course, but maybe not the role at Geelong anymore to pull off the big scores..

        Tim · 27/04/2016 at 14:15

I can't tell if this is tongue in cheek or not? I'm oblivious to this, can you explain why?

          tuxCS · 27/04/2016 at 14:27

Dawson is statistically the worst player in fantasy football, I'm honestly not sure if he's got a score over 100 in his career 🙂

    Jake · 26/04/2016 at 21:05

Shaw, Laird, Docherty, Kolodjashnij, Houli, Boyd

      Jake · 26/04/2016 at 21:06

Closely followed by Rance, Smith, Simpson, McVeigh

    Zac · 26/04/2016 at 22:22

Dawson, Dawson, Dawson, Dawson, Dawson, Dawson

Luke · 26/04/2016 at 17:39

Who should i get in for the big nat fyfe. i have already got pendles, danger, tom mitchel.

Tret · 26/04/2016 at 17:46

Anyone jumping on Priddis? High BE but always has a slow start to season before banging out some big scores. Could be a bit of a POD

    DankMemes · 26/04/2016 at 17:50

Saving for him after the bye

    Matt · 26/04/2016 at 18:56

waiting for the drop off in price, BenKen to priddis would be sweet in 1-2 weeks time

Nick · 26/04/2016 at 17:49

Best mid under 595k I've got gaz danger Selwood Shiel Liba mills and Parker or do you think there is better value else where. I'm thinking Pendlebury right now

    Boltons Blues · 26/04/2016 at 18:06

Look at Cripps from Carlton, 3 very very winnable games coming up for Carlton, could do some damage, in 10% of teams

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:30

    Pendles. Lock.

Wayno76 · 26/04/2016 at 17:51

Just a wot if question.

If Petracca plays next week who would you put on the field Pretracca playing St. Kilda, or Papley playing Bris.
Papley makes me nervous and yet to see Petracca in AFL game (but killing it in VFL) ?

Any thoughts community

    Boltons Blues · 26/04/2016 at 18:06

flip of the coin really, the hype around Petracca is massive, so id go with him,

tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 17:52

Managed to come first down at Cardina Hotel (Anzac day game), I think I got up at about 30th overall, so not too bad of a game.

Midzed · 26/04/2016 at 17:59

Surely you go danger before parker right?

    Derek · 26/04/2016 at 18:02

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:52

Danger 145 BE upcoming GCS (SS) WCE (SS) ADEL (AO) COLL (MCG)

I think Danger is more likely to go down in value.

Parker 120 BE upcoming BRIS (G) ESS (SCG) RICH (MCG) HAWKS (MCG)

But who knows, and you need both ideally so take your pick.

Liam · 26/04/2016 at 18:00

Does Ben Ken and Dea have to go this week ?

    magpie4ver · 26/04/2016 at 18:07

    Boltons Blues · 26/04/2016 at 18:07

Dea and then Benken, if you have fyfe, id go Fyfe and Dea trade

Michael · 26/04/2016 at 18:11

community, whose the best option for matt dea, simpson ,docherty or laird

    siri · 26/04/2016 at 18:19

I had laird so i went simpson

    Derek · 26/04/2016 at 18:24

Mike · 26/04/2016 at 18:18

Is it to late to trade in DBJ.

    Michael · 26/04/2016 at 18:23

      50_Shades · 26/04/2016 at 18:38

No. Who wouldn't pay $200k for a guy who is averaging 80 and looks to have at least $150k left him and remember some.

If you're doing a doible and the $200k figure works, I would.

    Derek · 26/04/2016 at 18:28

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:32

Yep it's too late. Remember anyone can turn into a spud at anytime, welcome to supercoach 2016!

    get him in · 27/04/2016 at 12:14

Most of us paid 200000 for wieterboi expecting an average of 80 odd dont see why dbj is any different

The Gawnstein · 26/04/2016 at 18:32

According to Footwire

    sam · 26/04/2016 at 21:58

    great info keep it up

    Purple Rain · 26/04/2016 at 22:00

You left out Peter Wright – BE of minus 174 ,whilst only after 1 game it is still relavent

      Tim · 27/04/2016 at 07:56

His BE is not relevant until after his second game because it is currently based on the (very unlikely) situation of him replicating his score from his first game this week.

        The Gawnstein · 27/04/2016 at 09:15

Lachie · 26/04/2016 at 18:35

have to trade suckling

@emhoy · 26/04/2016 at 18:46

One bad game by Dea I reckon we should hold him for a couple more weeks, is playing my blues this week so should score ok.

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:34

61, 87, 95, 73 and 41 in a huuuge blowout tells me he can make his BE.

      Benji · 26/04/2016 at 19:53

Problem is Dea a shit footballer and there's a chance he's scores come back down to earth.

        Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 20:40

His BE is reachable by a poor footballer though. Can understand people trading him though, just like papley to a byrne boy last week there's pros and cons.

tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 18:53

Has anyone else got K.K? What are your guys' plans for him come the end of the season? I'm feeling alright about him because he's playing as a winger for GC (last time I checked).

    Crowmagnon · 26/04/2016 at 19:03

I have him. only 1 good score so far. Hope he can find some consistency and be a nice POD.

    Chill · 26/04/2016 at 20:39

I have him and will be holding. he'll come good.

    Flaccid Jaff · 26/04/2016 at 21:00

I started with him too. Stick with him, could be up there with best defenders come seasons end

      tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 21:10

Definitely going to stick with him Jaff, just wondering what the communities thoughts were 🙂

    okkk · 27/04/2016 at 12:18

Stick with him. Was sore in round one and I reckon he's still warming up. Bloody frustrating though hey.

Crowmagnon · 26/04/2016 at 18:54

I'm seriously considering Fyfe to Tom Lee this week. It gives me 1 more week to see which rookies are the shittest. Gives me swings across 3 lines too. Also my upgrade targets such as Parker and Shaw have high enough BEs this week to not go up in price much. I know I may lose a few points this round, but sets me up for a double upgrade next week. Thoughts?

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:35

Yep like it, because if you trade out any of the rookies now they could easily bounce back and cause regret.

Sit on the warchest and pick them off once they are ripe enough to fall off the tree.

    Bomber56 · 27/04/2016 at 07:08

Thats exactly what I have done.

Jack Blucher · 26/04/2016 at 18:56

Thoughts on Biggs?

    Sage Slipper · 26/04/2016 at 19:27

    He bigg burnman … welcome!

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:37

Potential burns. Go rookie or premo.

Jack Blucher · 26/04/2016 at 18:58

What to do with Wingard community?

    Allo · 26/04/2016 at 19:30

Flush him down the dunny. That mop of his makes for the perfect toilet brush!

      Tophawk · 26/04/2016 at 20:43

And once that is done, get the Glen 20 out to get rid of the stench.

    Derek · 26/04/2016 at 21:13

When did he get the hit to the head? Was it before half time?

Wayno76 · 26/04/2016 at 19:12

Thinking Fyfe to Scully bit of a POD and gives me cash for double upgrade next week as I'm thinking of upgrading Bartel and Dea

Marco_Polo94 · 26/04/2016 at 19:21

Dea and Weitering have pretty high BEs, people holding or moving on? Must admit upgrading one to Shaw is mighty enticing.. But most likely i'll be downgrading 2 this week, and then upgrading both weltering and Dea next week to Shaw and Laird/Simpson/Martin

    Marco_Polo94 · 26/04/2016 at 19:32

Also, I just have to leave Byrne Jones now right? no point chasing him after his initial increase? Awesome BE still.

    SCaddict · 26/04/2016 at 19:32

Both Dea and Weitering go for me this week to make way for Heater and Lee.

      Mac · 26/04/2016 at 19:43

      You keeping Fyfe addict?

        SCaddict · 26/04/2016 at 21:47

That's one bullet I managed to dodge Mac as I didn't start with Fyfe.

I've had the JJ, Rocky and Crouch messes to clean up in previous weeks so glad to finally get a week off on the injury front.

      dannyyboyy · 26/04/2016 at 19:45

id do the same to if i could addict, but i have fyfe. im lookin at adding lee and parker

        SCaddict · 26/04/2016 at 21:51

Yep I'd get on Parker too with the Swans upcoming draw. I'm hoping Hanners, Mills and Smear in my own side can also cash in against the Lions, Dons and Tiges.

Actually DB you may have persuaded me to do likewise and keep Heater for next week as he's unlikely to go up much in price against the Hawks this weekend with a BE in the 120s. In fact I just checked and he hasn't tonned up the last few times he's played the Hawks so he may even be a little cheaper next week if history repeats.

      Adam · 27/04/2016 at 06:51

      Why trade Dea?
      He should make BE

    Pman35 · 26/04/2016 at 19:49

I'm targeting Dea down to Petracca via DPP and Fyfe to Parker with $348K left in the kitty for future upgrades.

Goles · 26/04/2016 at 19:24

Should Bartel be held? Had him since round 1 and not providing

    Wayno76 · 26/04/2016 at 20:14

I'm holding him at least for this round playing at skilled against the Suns hopfuly has a good game if not shouldn't drop to much cash

    Redgumwon · 26/04/2016 at 20:29

I think so I've had him since round 1 as well. I've also been trying to get Derek to trade him to me in the Draft game but no luck in three weeks so far. But I'm thinking of drafting in Dawson to make a super trade for Jimmy. Fingers crossed Derek sees value in the trade offer 🙂

      Derek · 26/04/2016 at 20:48

      You know my weakness

        Redgumwon · 26/04/2016 at 20:52

    Hold bartel, reassess midyear

Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 19:38

Like Scully hope it works out for you Wayno.

    Wayno76 · 26/04/2016 at 20:11

Cheers he's looking good this year will see how it goes

      Derek James · 26/04/2016 at 20:31

Good onya Wayno. Bringing those left of field picks. Keeps the community on their toes

simon · 26/04/2016 at 19:38

dea to tommy lee??

poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 19:39

One trade this week as Fyfe needs to go.
Not really ready to add premos in mids apart from Pendles, but I desperately need to fix R2 (currently Tippett).
So out goes Fyfe, shift BenKen to MID, shift Tippett to FWD, and bring in Gawnster.
Ultimate Double DPP shift!!

Team now:

DEF: Heater, Laird, Adams (FWD), Weitering, DBJ, Wagner (Hartley, Ruggles)
MID: Hanners, Ward, Libba, Wines, Priddis, BenKen (FWD), Mills, Oliver (Kerridge (FWD), Davis, Keays)
RUC: Goldy, Gawn (MKing (FWD))
FWD: Hall (MID), Wells (MID), Buddy, Barlow (MID), Tippett (RUC), AMT (DEF) (Brown (DEF), Rioli)

$553K in the bank, Pendles in next week for maybe BenKen or Oliver (or both too soon?)

Thoughts welcome, thanks all 🙂

    Wayno76 · 26/04/2016 at 20:19

I like were your team is ATM and it doesn't look like everyone else's team and you have cash in the bank . I would look at Parker or Selwood over Pends but see how he goes this week

      poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 20:31

Cheers Wayno, I'd jump on Parker but with 4 Swans already it might bite me come bye time. Now's the time to start thinking bye strategy and I already have 13 players with the bye in R14. Jelwood could be the one as he has R15 bye, also Pendles has bye in R13.

Bostik · 26/04/2016 at 19:42

Shark move in thought, what do you think is vital for rank change. An upgrade from dea to heath shaw (fairly common premo yet proven) or an upgrade from dea to docherty (a bit more of a POD). Keep in mind I already have Simpson so would mean simpson and docherty in same defense. Let me know your thoughts.

    Tophawk · 26/04/2016 at 20:54

You have Weitering? If so, that would make it three.

I am not saying that is a bad thing, as Carlton spend plenty of time defending their goal line. That said, when the byes arrive, three blues on your backline would make a crowd with the likelihood that one or more of your other defenders also have a bye that round. Just keep that in mind.

    I hate donuts. Cheers

      Bostik · 26/04/2016 at 21:02

Nah tophawk wasn't lucky enough to accumulate weitering early so never got the chance to bring him in. So would be two carlton players. Is this too many in backlin especially with the likelyhood of others along with them in defence missing the same bye rounds.

Mac · 26/04/2016 at 19:43

Whats Lee's JS like?

Benji · 26/04/2016 at 19:52

I'll be shocked if he's dropped. Did nothing as a forward, dominated in the VFL last season as a key defender, up there in the b/f for Sandy. Came in for Roberton, shouldn't lose his spot any time soon.

charlie · 26/04/2016 at 19:54

what do i do with suckling.
apparently he is out for 4 weeks

    Mac · 26/04/2016 at 19:58

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:56

    Maybe never.

Votes · 26/04/2016 at 20:03

Who should I trade Fyfe for? Other premo midfielders are – Ablett, Danger, Gray, Ward, and Parker!

    Chill · 26/04/2016 at 20:38

    Stevo · 26/04/2016 at 20:47

    Selwood or Hannaberry

Steeeve · 26/04/2016 at 20:06

Who has Grimley but is thinking of bringing in Cox if he's picked the next two weeks? Could keep Grimley and sit Cox in the forward line…

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:58

Both those players are a waste of space at this current time. Grimley would've been good in R3 if he never played as a constant loophole with bombers having lots of sunday games coming up.

But yeah keep your eye on big cox (lol)

Derek James · 26/04/2016 at 20:11

Fyfe > Out. Wells/Kerridge > Mid. Tippa/Adams > Fwd. Rance > Bench. Matty Boyd > In.

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:11

Like it Derek bit of a POD and defenders crashing and burning around him, but the old warhorse is still kicking!

He's a proven 100 point average player and only owned by 4.6% of teams. He's almost 34 though…….there is an element of risk.

James · 26/04/2016 at 20:18

Have $1,196,300 for two premos with Fyfe and Dea getting the boot

Already have Shaw, Laird, Danger, Parker, Wines, Zorko, Hall, ZMerrett.

Was thinking Ablett+Priddis, but now considering Ward+Selwood

    breakevens · 26/04/2016 at 20:36

    Ablett and Priddis all day

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:06

Ablett and Selwood, although there is talk of Gaz looking sore.

Priddis I feel isn't 100% coming off a niggle and scoring a low 87. BE of 134 so no rush getting him in.

Pendles/Hanne/Selwood are on my radar at the moment.

Adam · 26/04/2016 at 20:19

Hi Community,

Which trade do you think is better?
Fyfe to Petracca or Shaw
and also
Have Dea and Weitering should they be traded (25 Trades remaining

Thanks on adavance

    Derek James · 26/04/2016 at 20:28

I wouldnt even entertain petracca mate. Not till hes named. Even then youd have to wait to see how he performs. Weitering has the bombers, pies and the power in his next 3 games. Break even of 70 odd so hes a wait and see for me. If he doesnt reach his break even after the pies game id move him on. Dea has a BE of 60. He'll be nearing the end of his usefulness very soon. Id look to move him on very shortly

breakevens · 26/04/2016 at 20:37

Stephen Conigilio averaging 106.8 and 117 last three rounds

Left field pick anyone considering??

    tuxCS · 26/04/2016 at 20:53

What's his price at mate? Think he slipped under my radar.

      Derek James · 26/04/2016 at 20:55

    Derek James · 26/04/2016 at 20:53

I like it mate. Potential to score very well. In only 0.3% of teams right now. 50 odd break even. Something very different. Probably the biggest pod there is

    Loop · 27/04/2016 at 05:53

I'm not considering but I've noticed him because I think he's taking points from Shiel. I have Shiel.

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 12:27

Proven tagger when need be, when he plays pure mid, he racks up the scores but when Leon wants to shut down an opponent, he calls the Conig. Rockliff, Gaff, Shiel, Wines are safer POD's imo.

Derek · 26/04/2016 at 20:38

Any word on Gaz. He looked sore on the weekend.

    Redgumwon · 26/04/2016 at 20:49

No word on GAJ from the GC website. They said Saad and Prestia will play if they get through the main session on Thurday

Stevo · 26/04/2016 at 20:40

Fyfe to Selwood, Menadue to Lyons? Or keep Menadue?

    magpie4ver · 26/04/2016 at 20:51

    Missed the boat on Lyons

      Stevo · 26/04/2016 at 21:17

      So Menadue to bench then?

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:01

Yep I'd be hesitant to lock in Lyons for 300k, I bought him for 240k after one round played, which you can look at as a ballsy or plain stupid move.

    Shake n bake · 26/04/2016 at 21:23

I think menadue & Kennedy will be lucky to keep there spots this week.

      Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:26

      Derek · 26/04/2016 at 22:41

      Will Petracca Take kenedys place

      Trengove not far away either

        Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 23:02

        Probably right Derek.

james · 26/04/2016 at 20:40

which trade option is better

Dea and weitering ——-> Shaw and Simpson/Docherty

Dea and BenKen ——-> Dahlhaus and Buddy

    Kev · 26/04/2016 at 20:45

    Shaw and Simpson

james · 26/04/2016 at 20:43

My team for the post above

Laird, Adams, Houli, Weitering, Dea, DBJ (Byrne, Ruggles)

Dangerfield, Ablett, Hannebery, Priddis, RGray, Taylor Adams, Shiel, Parish (Hewett, Davis, Gresham)

Gawn, Nic Nat (Lorensch – for loophole)

Hall, Wells, Kerridge, De Goey, Benken, AMT (Menadue, Petraca)

Davonaise · 26/04/2016 at 20:50

Where many will go Pendles at 580k
I will go my own way and choose Hanners which by the way Sydney has 3 soft opposition

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 20:56

I think hanners is in prime form and worth the 620k.

      Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 20:58

*That saying I'm locking Parker in this week as my mid is weak with only Danger, Ablett, Zaha, Libba, M.Crouch, Mills and Jarryd Lyons.

580k for someone averaging 125 seems crazy cheap, hope he keeps it up.

        Davonaise · 26/04/2016 at 21:26

Parker still cheap! yes can't ignore him now he looks a top 5 midfielder

I have 8 strong mids now:

Danger, Ablett, Parker, Selwood, Zaha, Wines, Libba ( Hanners welcome )

feel I have 5 of the top 10 best mids in this bunch.

anthonyc12 · 26/04/2016 at 20:54

No one is considering trading big Sauce Jacobs are they? The temptation to go to Gawn is strong, very strong.

Instead I'm looking to go from Dea to Heath Shaw.. right move?

Fevolution25 · 26/04/2016 at 21:10

Thoughts on CRIPPS as captain this week?? We've seen pendles and sidebum dominate last week, ablett and hall rd 1 all other games have been a scrap and no one has really scored well

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:16

Could be a big one for cripps I agree, I reckon Essendon will bounce back a bit after last week though, expect Zaha and Merret to fire up.

poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 21:12

In a week of carnage, this is probably the last thing on people's minds lol! How is everyone's bye structure looking?

Mine is as follows, ins per round, split with premo / midprice / rookie (total) – no need for position split, as we know it's best 18 regardless of position:

R13: 8 / 4 / 12 (24)
R14: 5 / 2 / 6 (13)
R15: 7 / 2 / 14 (23)

My team right now:

DEF: Heater, Laird, Adams (FWD), Weitering, DBJ, Wagner (Hartley, Ruggles)
MID: Hanners, Ward, Libba, Wines, Priddis, BenKen (FWD), Mills, Oliver (Kerridge (FWD), Davis, Keays)
RUC: Goldy, Gawn (MKing (FWD))
FWD: Hall (MID), Wells (MID), Buddy, Barlow (MID), Tippett (RUC), AMT (DEF) (Brown (DEF), Rioli)

So my aim between now and R13 is to bring in some R14 premos, ones to consider here are:

DEF: Gibson / Pittard / Biggs / Burgoyne / MBoyd
MID: Parker / SMitch / Zaha / Titch
FWD: Dahlhaus / Cyril / not much else here

    Marco_Polo94 · 26/04/2016 at 21:39

errrrr haven't you got that backwards mate? You want to bring in R13 and R15 players.

      poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 21:54

The numbers above are players available for each round, not ones that are unavailable.
So having only 13 players for R14 not ideal.
Hence the look at R13 players to bring in so I have as close to 18 on field as possible for that round.
At least I think I've got that right….

olly · 26/04/2016 at 21:18

can afford any 2 defenders who do i get already have Laird and Boyd

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:25

Shaw and either Simpson or Docherty.

Or Shaw and Tom lee for cash generation.

    Hawks · 26/04/2016 at 21:45

    Shaw & Simpson

    Adam · 27/04/2016 at 06:58

    Shaw and a POD

Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:18

I dunno those stats look ok ffor the past two games, 16 touches and 35 hitouts, last week 17 touches and 40 hitouts.

Just needs to get a few more to advantage and he could do alright.

Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 21:21

duffman4499 · 26/04/2016 at 21:26

I have $580000 and looking at getting a premo forward. Currently have Buddy Zorko hall Adams and kerridge.
Who should I get? Was thinking D Martin

    Hawks · 26/04/2016 at 21:37

You will be able to get Martin cheaper in a few weeks time.

Worth looking at Barlow or Dahlhaus

      Soldiers · 26/04/2016 at 22:26

      Daulhaus is your man.

    duffman4499 · 26/04/2016 at 22:52

Menadue to Priddis and 50k

BenKen to Franklin and 150k

Assuming menadue is not on field, Franklin

Tom · 26/04/2016 at 21:54

I have 3 trade scenarios to choose from but can only do one… would appreciate the help

Menadue to Priddis – 50k left

Dea to Shaw – 180k

Ben Kennedy to Zorko – 150k

what do we reckon?

    poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 22:09

Shaw BE 122 – could drop a little more in price, has Hawks this week but at home so could get his BE.
Priddis BE 134 – may drop in price but have Pies at Domain this week so this is achievable.
Zorko BE 113 – will drop in price after Swans game this week and will have high BE the week after

Tough call – will depend on how your team is structured.

      Soldiers · 26/04/2016 at 22:26

I'd go Shaw. He will be top defender come years end so might as well lock him in and it's one less worry for the future!

    Tophawk · 26/04/2016 at 22:27

    Hi Tom,

    All your scenarios look inviting!.

Another scenario is to chill for round 6 team announcements on Thursday ……..

    New surprises might await…..

poloko48 · 26/04/2016 at 21:57

Good call on Gibbo & Silk Hawks, cheers. Forgot about JPK & McV!
I think even if SMitch is rested he's worth it the way he's going.
May be a chance they won't be able to afford to rest him later on?
Also don't forget the bye is later this year too.
If anyone needs a rest it's Lewis, he's had a pretty quiet start to the year.

Jabba07 · 26/04/2016 at 22:21

Hi all, in search of a uber premo to set me up for the rest of the season, I have narrowed the following options of premos I do not already have:

Hanners (Note – I have Parker already)

All are arousing, true trouser splitting beasts, what are your cortexes saying community?

    Soldiers · 26/04/2016 at 22:25

I think Pendles, I have commented below my reasoning why but he always provides your team with stability, even when poor scores 90.

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 23:01

Not sure if I'd consider all those guys potential uber premos……..but I'll list them in my order of preference.

    Gray (high BE)
    Priddis (high-ish BE)
Sidebum (not convinced by one big score in a blowout)

      Jabba07 · 27/04/2016 at 11:12

SS – Who would you consider Uber premium? Be good to know your thoughts and who I am missing…

        Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 12:01

        Gray (high BE)
        Priddis (high-ish BE)

          Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 12:01

But I'd avoid Gray, port are in a bad place right now, this can hurt even the greatest of players.

      Jabba07 · 27/04/2016 at 11:16

Also, I have Parker, so should that rule out Hanners? Leaning towards Pendles for that reason. I do have Selwood and Danger and v happy with the double to date…

        Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 12:06

I wouldn't rule out Hanners mate, 14 of his 22 games last year were 30+ possessions. Averaged 114.5 and seems to be replicating that this year. (ave 117.8)

Can be good to stick with the successful teams and I see Geelong and Sydney possibly both top 4.

Soldiers · 26/04/2016 at 22:24

I have gone Fyfe to Pendlebury and Zac Smith to Goldstein.

I feel as if Pendlebury is somewhat forgotten about although he is back playing where he should be and the ribs look like they have healed.

Thoughts community?

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 22:55

Like the trades. Could also go parker instead for similar cash as he's in such good form.

      Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:04

      Parker in 24.3% of teams
      Pendles in 20.4% of teams
      Ward in 4.5% of teams

Same ilk in my eyes, go the pod mate

        Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:36

That is low for Ward, and a 115 average. Great POD.

But Parker is in ripping form and averaging 125 for the same price.

Ah the decisions of SC. They will keep you up at night, give you grey hairs and the odd fit of rage when a big decision fails.

I have had Parker from the start which was very lucky, I also have Sidebottom so do you think this is a problem if I bring in Pendles as well and have two collingwood premiums in my midfield?

    Kev · 27/04/2016 at 08:05

Cracked ribs don't heal in a fortnight!

      Soldiers · 27/04/2016 at 10:56

      A Nab cup injury therefore 6 – 8 weeks.

        Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 12:09

Looks close to 100%. Plus he was scoring 100's even with the sore/cracked ribs.

BE of 100 lock him in if you want him now I reckon.

          Soldiers · 27/04/2016 at 12:46

Thoughts on the Goldstein trade SS?

Should I be looking at Martin or Jacobs instead and save some money?

psyrick · 26/04/2016 at 22:26

I don't have Fyfe and I've had a blinder start to the season and only used up 2 trades so far, so I think I might do my first upgrade:

Ben Ken -> Tom Lee
Weitering -> H. Shaw

Is it a bit risky trading two of the more solid rookies? Both have break evens approaching their averages and I think it should be alright as I have the better selection rookies. Also Lincoln McCarthy would replace Ben Ken essentially on field.

Big balls · 26/04/2016 at 22:26

Everyones thoughts on James Kelly (Ess) 507k , averaging 109 – lowest score of 100 ???

    Jack Blucher · 26/04/2016 at 22:43

    like it big testicles

    Southern S · 26/04/2016 at 22:54

      Davonaise · 26/04/2016 at 23:17

Sailed yes but 500k that's cheap as chips for a 105+ mid and like the boys said in this podcast not many rooks this year.
I did Zaha for 507k last week but got 82 from him this week but still happy to have him in my side.

        Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:05

Yes and no Parker is 580k and averaging 125 so better value, but doubtful he'll keep it up at that level.

If people think Kelly will keep up his average (109) then yeah go for it, but going on past seasons Kelly is more of a 90 average player.

If you picked him up for 400k then you got a bargain.

For 500k you're now in Cripps and Viney territory and those guys can go big in my opinion and are young and hungry.

          Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:12

Agree with you Southern though that's what makes this game fascinating
          Bank 80k with Kelly 95-110
          Or go Parker 110-125

          I could go either way

Big balls · 26/04/2016 at 22:32

Ranking ?

    psyrick · 26/04/2016 at 22:35

929, first time I've been in the top 1000.

Timchief · 26/04/2016 at 22:56

Any thoughts on mark murphy as a pod? Can score and is prob unders. He is an injury risk.

    Keenbutclueless · 26/04/2016 at 23:28

Next week will be under 400k and represents good value at that price.

battlewolf87 · 26/04/2016 at 23:17

hold or trade wingard? have had him since week 1 and hes hurting bad and now might be out for another week…port are appalling and dont see him doing much better. Trade him for which one of these barlow, franklin, greene or wright? Also is kennedy to dbj a waste of trade, dont see kennedy fattening any more and dbj can be on field score well and will go up for at least 3 more weeks.

    Davonaise · 26/04/2016 at 23:55

If you don't or never started with Barlow that's a sideways trade worth doing
Wingard is in a team that's mentally broken and Barlow is in the guts for rest of year

Way I see it one will score 70-80 rest of year other 95-105 for rest of year

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:18

if he doesn't play this week then trade him I reckon.

Not big on the DBJ trade now, probably should've jumped on him last week.

I'd possibly go Franklin out of those options if you did end up trading him.

Greene is looking quite good, there was people that traded him last week after his 112…..then he got 129!

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:19

*That goes for both guys if they don't play, Wingard and Kennedy. Heard Wingard copped a high hit, not sure on the severity.

Jimi · 26/04/2016 at 23:44

Why so many people are so keen to bring Petracca in early? He's not going anywhere, he's not a finite resource, so why not get him on the bubble like with any other rookie? If he gets injured before the price rise there are going to be a lot of burnt fingers.

    Davonaise · 26/04/2016 at 23:53

Simply because of this statement from the Melbourne football club mate:
"We have never seen a kid with this level of skill coming through our ranks for a very long time"

He is a beast too, if you have seen him play footy in the VFL you would not worry to bring him in at all. He is ready for AFL and some….

And next year no joke I will be starting with Viney and Petracca in my team these two blokes will kill it with Gawn guiding taps to these blokes

      Jimi · 27/04/2016 at 00:23

I'm not doubting he's a freak and I'm not worried about him per se, he is my most anticipated downgrade target, but I'm still not bringing him in before the bubble. Even beasts can get an injury – just ask his big toe!

        Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:32

I understand mate I don't usually bring in a guy b4 he has played but many coaches started him and have him as looping vc scores and he is ready to go soon. The other rookies soon to bubble, the job security and scoring is not as significant for mine.

Will see if he is named then will assess my options

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:15

This is the good thing about Petracca, so hyped that not getting him is going to set yourself apart from the pack. Bang he gets injured in his second game and a lot of people lose 1-2 trades.

You will be sitting there with all your trades, because you did the logical way to go about it and waited for him on the bubble.

      Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:23

Can happen but you will miss 2 80+ scores one would think, if he does not get injured
Always two ways to play this beautiful game

        Jimi · 27/04/2016 at 00:32

Personally I won't loose sleep over that, whoever I have at M8 will still scoring at over 70 per game to it's really only maybe 20-30 points. Yes all points are good but I think there's more value playing it a bit safe with trades. I already have Gresham stranded on my bench having been dropped after 2 games and its a bloody ball ache!

          Jimi · 27/04/2016 at 00:34

I might *lose* sleep over my spelling though

      Jimi · 27/04/2016 at 00:25

I believe the hype (maybe not quite as keen as old mate Davonaise) but I think he could have Cripps levels of significance once he breaks into the seniors.

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:34

No doubt he will live up to the hype, or close at least. If he comes in and gets 100 in his first I'd consider bringing him early but even then I'd probably just wait, it's not many points to miss out on in the long run.

I have plenty of players on the bench who can get 80's anyway.

    pitch72 · 27/04/2016 at 06:45

He's a perfect downgrade option for Bennedy who will start to leak cash.

Jimmy P · 26/04/2016 at 23:51

What do we think of the following rookies:
Mason Cox
Sam Grimley
Josh Smith
Darcy Tucker
Peter Wright

Yes they have only played 1 game but we only have 2 trades a week so should we be getting some in a week early if they will be making a lot of cash with good JS

    Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:00

And that's the problem I can't see any of those bloke playing 6+ games in a hurry to make cash
Job security is shaky with these blokes.

Petracca is a must have bring him in this week if you need to paint the fence
Then you can further assess these guys on the bubble

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:12

If he's named this week, surely he must be.

        Davonaise · 27/04/2016 at 00:19

not a Dee's fan but my gosh they are on their way up next few years
Midfield is shaping up big time for them
Viney, Tyson, Petracca, Jones 3-4 years left, Vince 2-3 years left
With Gawn soon to be the best Ruckman in AFL

          Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 00:25

Yep I predicted a good year for them this year, maybe even a smoky top 8.

Then they lost to essendon and I kinda thought oh here we go again same old crap from melbourne.

Never know could still make it, good wins over Richmond and Collingwood (does that mean anything?) and damn close to NM (means something surely)

    Flaccid Jaff · 27/04/2016 at 00:47

I think only cox grimley and smith should be looked at. Grimley probably most likely to hold his spot but will average the lowest

    Boltons Blues · 27/04/2016 at 08:14

Cloke had 4 touches in the 2s, should give you an idea that Cloke wont be in this week

    Shake n bake · 27/04/2016 at 09:26

I'm holding off on any trades this week. Tucker will be a main stay from here on I think & I know Collingwood like this kid Smith. 102k!

Nicholas · 27/04/2016 at 01:49

Here is my team community

Backs: Laird, Smith, Bartel, Dea, Weitering, DBJ (Hartley, Brown)

Mids: Fyfe, Ablett, Danger, Gray, Wines, Rich, Libba, Mills ( B ken, Menadue, Davis)

Ruck: Gawn, Nic Nat (Cox)

Fowards: Barlow, Hall, Wells, Adams, Kerridge, Tippa ( Papley, Mccarthy)

Currently got 24 trades and 385k in the bank.

Thinking Fyfe to Parker as my first trade.

My 2nd trade could be something like dea/ weitering out rich back in the defence and bring in a premo

I could also trade out B ken for either a forward premo or mid premo.

Even Dea/ Weitering straight up to Heath Shaw could work since my defence isnt that stable with Smith, Rich and Bartel who are not very consistent.

Any advice is welcome and good luck this week with your trades

    Derek · 27/04/2016 at 09:33

i like the look of Dea to Midfield premo via Rich (swing Rich to defence) plus Fyfe to a Premo. then next week Weitering to Shaw.

do your maths and see who you can get with Fyfe + Dea + Weitering + $385k = Shaw + 2 premos (leaves about $1090k)

      Derek · 27/04/2016 at 12:23

sorry maths out. leaves you $1130 to get two premos.

Tommo09 · 27/04/2016 at 07:02

Def: Shaw, Laird, Weitering, Adams, Dea, Tippa (DBJ, Byrne)
Mid: Danger, Fyfe, GAJ, Parker, Libba, M.Crouch, Bennedy, Mills (Menadue, Davis, Gresham)
Ruck: Goldy, NicNat (Grimley)
Fwd: Martin, Hall, Barlow, Wells, Kerridge, Palpey (Petracca, M.Brown)

Thoughts on these trades…
Fyfe to Pendles
Dea to Premium def

Who do I bring in out of Docherty, Simpson, Houli???
Thanks community!!!

    Tommo09 · 27/04/2016 at 07:09

Tommo09 · 27/04/2016 at 07:06

Thoughts on Tom Lee as a downgrade target or do we wait for a better rookie???

    Rick Grimes · 27/04/2016 at 07:50

I'd wait personally. Want to see how Wright (Suns) goes this weekend. If he puts up a half decent score again, he stands to make some serious coin.

    Shake n bake · 27/04/2016 at 09:29

Tucker next week freo struggling will get games Johnson out long term.

Bomber56 · 27/04/2016 at 07:16

Starting to wonder if it was a mistake not having Jarrad Waite in from the start and whether we will need him in the future?
I know all the augments, but …..

    jockreynolds · 27/04/2016 at 09:45

    Be strong Bomber. Be strong.

    murray · 27/04/2016 at 09:47

Bomber, I would never pick him for my side, even if he is pumping out big scores. I dont like the guy

    Wattsieesq · 27/04/2016 at 10:55

    Could be Cloke circa 2013

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 11:44

I also stand by my words that he will not maintain this output for the whole season. **IT'S A TRAP!**

Jack · 27/04/2016 at 07:42

Wait for Robbie Gray or Tom Rockliff to turn around their form.

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 11:48

Add Chopsticks to that group, he is a potential #1 fwd.

Swans2012 · 27/04/2016 at 07:47

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I'm considering Toby bloody Greene, I just think he may have turned the corner, let's look at the cold hard facts, he's averaged over 100 before, he has now in 5 games tonned up as much as he did all of last year, his back end of 2014 was amazing (7 tons 4 over 130), sure there will be some down games but I think he'll average 100 from here and at worst be a perfect m9/f7 loophole later, at best a cheap 440k f4….
Go on convince me not to,
Oh and while I'm at it before you trade in any premos have a look at the horizon, rocky, gray, Hoult, Martin, Martin dirt cheap in a fortnight…… Just saying….

    Kev · 27/04/2016 at 07:57

I've also had a good hard look at him, Swans. I like him, he was in my side for a lot of the preseason. Just the gap between his best and worst is far too great at the moment. You don't want 50's from your premiums

      Swans2012 · 27/04/2016 at 08:14

Thats true Kev, but I dunno about you, but I seem to be getting 50's from all my premos anyway!!! Averaging 92 including 2 50's in 5 games screams upside to me….I took ziebel around this time last year for a similar price and purpose and it worked ok for me, he ended the year as my f7/m9 loophole/cover so I think I'll try it again…

    Swans2012 · 27/04/2016 at 08:31

And forgot to mention wingard, could be under 400k in a week or two

      Derek · 27/04/2016 at 08:59

thats why I'm using my Fyfe trade to Shaw. He is $50k cheaper now but think he is at bottom.

Will pick up fallen premos as rookie cull season starrs

        Swans2012 · 27/04/2016 at 09:06

Dunno whether he is at bottom but close enough Derek, he or Boyd may be my second trade this week..or I may just bring Greene in and hold.

Shaw be 120 odd vs Hawks, might drop another 10-15k this week, actually not much danger in waiting one more week, certainly won't go up much….

          Derek · 27/04/2016 at 09:21

i think his BE is about 122, and he plays the Hawks, so he might be a few dollars cheaper next week, but next week his 70 drops out of his calculation. so it is either this week or next. I have to trade out Fyfe this week so easy trade for me, but no harm is waiting until next week he might be a bit cheaper.

            Wattsieesq · 27/04/2016 at 10:59

I think you are right Derek. Shaw has hit about his floor, I'd bring him in if I didn't already have him.

On a happier note (for me at least), it was good getting one over you in one of the many leagues you probably partake in. Good luck for the rest of the year!

              Derek · 27/04/2016 at 11:38

slow start, you were lucky to get me early 😉

                Wattsieesq · 27/04/2016 at 12:18

I'll take all the luck that the SC gods send my way : )

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 11:42

You are spot on about worst case scenario of Greene being a m9/f7. I raise you that he will, at worst, be a good F6. Still can't believe everyone traded him out after 3-4 games. Based on his 5 games, he seems to go massive in the games GWS win (they will win much more!). 15 odd score involvements each in the past 2 games, he runs hard and always gets involved in the scores.

      Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 12:11

BE of 27 I'm considering trading him!

      Swans2012 · 27/04/2016 at 15:58

Yep I've locked him in, lets me shuffle the structure back around as well, Dea out, swing mctip, welcome Greene. Now whether to bring in shaw/Boyd or hold for the premo smorgasbord on offer in the next couple weeks….

Fevolution25 · 27/04/2016 at 07:55

Someone please tell me brad crouch is playing this week

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:13

I'd assume so yes. he's back to full training so I don't see why not.

    JamiesNinjas13 · 27/04/2016 at 11:34

Yes he is mate, Bruce Mcavaney spoke to David Noble (head of football ops for the crows) on Friday and announced during the game that Brad is definitely in this week.
I was fuming because I traded him out a few hours earlier, but was happy that I chose to stick with Papley anyways.

sam · 27/04/2016 at 08:59

if you get rid of wingard this week you are effectively getting a prem 400000 cheaper why wait for martins grays to come down when wingard comes down too wingard to sellwood means sellwood 540ooo

    Petend My Name's Jon · 28/04/2016 at 12:45

Inconsistency is really the only problem with Lachie Neale, but considering the absence of Fyfe and Mundy, he and Barlow could potentially go huge. Be cautious but he could definitely be a solid POD

Mitch · 27/04/2016 at 10:27

Thoughts on J.Mcveigh in 1-2 weeks time? Proven consistent scorer. Averaged 100+ last 3 years. Dual position too

McVeigh a proven scorer over multiple seasons compared to Brodie Smith.

    Southern S · 27/04/2016 at 11:10

Like McVeigh a lot but let him go down in price and find his fitness again before locking in.

Trade Mitch brown (who i have in defence) next week and use the trading loophole to move yeo down back where he belongs next week and bring in a Midfielder for brown

Turning Fyfe with the help of Mackenzie into 2 defensive premos seems like im jumping the guns on the premo's down back but im looking a different move than the pack this week or am i reaching a bit far… thoughts community?
