Should Ollie Wines holders be worried?

Over to you community.

Paulie Walnuts · 09/04/2016 at 08:12

I'm banking the 129 x 2 , only because i can't make my mind up out of Ablett,Danger of Fyfe to put the C on

Deccas · 09/04/2016 at 08:15

Its a good score and 250 looks good. But Think Dangerfield or fyfe will go big but not sure who. Is it worth the risk?

    Moz · 09/04/2016 at 08:27

I thought Dangerfield would go large last week – gave me 77
I thought Fyfe would go large in week 1 – gave me 61

    Bank the 129 mate

      Michael · 09/04/2016 at 10:23

What about GAJ though. GAJ is a very reliable Super Coach super-premo. He is the opnly super-premo i have and the only super-premo i need for now.

      Todd · 11/04/2016 at 11:18

I went danger but goldy holders would mock your 129

Moz · 09/04/2016 at 08:15

Don't be greedy. 129 is a great score and now I don't have to sweat for the rest of the weekend. I love Robbie Gray

    rowdz · 09/04/2016 at 09:00

I'm not going to be greedy i just wish somebody scored 129

Moz · 09/04/2016 at 08:34

So i've finally decided to trade out Rocky. My midfield is looking pretty cookie-cutter with:
Parker, Gray, Danger, Libba, Fyfe, Oliver, Menadue, Kerridge, Kaeys & ROCKY.

Looking to bring in a POD. Thougths on:

– Dusty Martin?
– Blicavs?
– Treloar?

They're all looking pretty good, who do people think will be a season keeper?

    Paulie Walnuts · 09/04/2016 at 08:41

      Moz · 09/04/2016 at 08:44

    Wayno76 · 09/04/2016 at 09:10

Blicavs has been reliable and good ruck loop option aswell

    bAps · 09/04/2016 at 11:03

Dusty is hardly a POD haha

    Lachie · 09/04/2016 at 14:15

Dusty isn't a POD, but you should have him in the fwd line eventually. I'd look at having Blicavs in your mid and then by the end of the season swing him into your rucks

    Csm · 11/04/2016 at 08:22

    I wouldn't call dusty a pod . I'd say Blicavs from there

bUCKET__ · 09/04/2016 at 08:39

Wines won't get 8 clangers every week, nor will he always handpass so much. Slow start and would obviously like more tons, but I'm not worried.

    The benchmark · 09/04/2016 at 09:12

    Kicks to handball ratio shocking
    8 clangers
    4 free kicks against
    Effective disposals dismal
And he still knocks me out a 93
I'm sure the people who own wines are not worried, happy to hold 🙂

    Matt · 10/04/2016 at 00:31

Exactly, he's actually played really well in his games but just been a bit unlucky with his scoring. Expect him to knock out a 120 next couple weeks and hit some consistent scoring

@BarronVonCrow · 09/04/2016 at 08:50

After going with Fyfe in Round 1 and Dangerfield in Round 2 I am locking in Grays score this week.

As for Wines, like bUCKET_ said above, you'd hope he wouldn't get 8 clangers a week, nor have 2/3 of his possessions be handballs. 9 tackles, 6 clearances, 25 possessions and a goal, those are good stats overall, just needs to clean up his ball use (only 60% DE) and stop giving away so many free kicks (4 of his clangers were due to frees against).

So if you own him I'd probably keep him for now and if you don't, watch his price and see if you can't at least get him for par.

    Rosco · 09/04/2016 at 08:59

Same here Barron. Taking Gray's 123. Ablett, Danger and the like may go big but they also may fail. Bit disappointing Gray was scaled DOWN to 123 yet some Essendon players were scaled up. I can't work that out. Surely the best player on the ground shouldn't lose scaling points?

      Darth · 09/04/2016 at 12:50

He was super quiet in the last qtr apart from an early goal

    BigHaydos · 09/04/2016 at 09:00

Hey mate, not sure why you put the C on dangerfield in round two. looking at his track record, he isnt the best at backing up scores with more great scores. normally a heartbeat system with dangerfield.

Aaron · 09/04/2016 at 08:56

Menadue, Hewitt or Davis on the field?

    BigHaydos · 09/04/2016 at 08:59

Aaron, I would normally say of course Menadue, but they are coming up against a great crows outfit and Davis is versing carlton. Flip a coin between menadue and davis i think bro

      Derek · 09/04/2016 at 09:42

At least you have a choice.

I have Rocky, crouch, Gresham, Keays, Wingard all on the bench this week.

        Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 09:47

Would that mean you have at least one donut? Rocky, Crouch, Gresham and Keays are all midfielders. Only 3 bench spots for midfielders?

        tippa · 09/04/2016 at 09:48

Derek did you make any trades this week?

          Derek · 09/04/2016 at 10:13

wI'll trade either Gresham or Keays to Paps. Haven't decided yet.

            Derek · 09/04/2016 at 10:19

Was tinkering with idea of Keays/Gresham to Ruggles.

Swing Kerridge to mids and Adams to forwards (don't have a DEF/FWD swing set yet. Plus I am arroused by Ruggles next two games -lions and Essendon

              bAps · 09/04/2016 at 11:05

I wouldn't be excited by that. The cats will smash those two teams, which means the backline won't see much of the ball.

                derek · 09/04/2016 at 11:14

                good point

                  derek · 09/04/2016 at 11:14

if i was to trade rocky, i would be going to selwood

                Shinboner · 09/04/2016 at 16:00

That's a very narrow minded way to assess the scoring capabilities of a backline. Maybe in 1970 you would be right but if you look at how the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide particularly use there backline offensively there is a massive increase in back men's scores when the team is winning. One way traffic is a thing of the past.

        Steve · 09/04/2016 at 13:32

After a stellar season last year you have a few crack appearing early Derek! Worried?

          Derek · 09/04/2016 at 14:51

          yes. But sticking to plan

Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 08:57

I am banking Gray's score. Had to wait on Dangerfield last weekend and what a disappointment that was. I can sit back and enjoy the rest of the round now. If Fyfe and Danger both pump out 150's this round, I will be more than happy. OK I will sacrifice 54 points, but I can live with that. Its all about runs on the board.

    John · 09/04/2016 at 09:47

you would only be sacrificing 27 points if someone in your team got 150 by the way.

      Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 09:57

I see what you mean there. But I have taken Gray's 123 as VC. (246 points). If Dangerfield who is in my team scores 150 and my opponent also has him but whacked the C on him he would score 300 points. How many points better off would he be? Indeed…..54 points. That was the point I was trying to make about taking Gray's VC score and the potential loss of points if one of the other guys in my side went big and scored 150 and did not have the C on him. Cheers

    Phil · 09/04/2016 at 09:52

You're only sacrifing 27 is they get 150 because you still get there 150 once (just not doubled)
    Gray Captain= 123 + 123 + 150 = 396
    Fyfe Captain=. 150 + 150 + 123 =423

Marvin · 09/04/2016 at 09:23

Picked bungcrouch instead of lessgoodbuthealthiercrouch. Do I go crouch to lambert? Can't wait for crouch to a) get healthy and b) wind up and it means I'm playing with menadue on the field this week. Lambert is looking good and at the very least will make some half decent coin. Can't go parish now and have the rest of the rooks bar Hewitt. Talk me out of it

    abel · 09/04/2016 at 10:13

Great names. I'm holding bungcrouch. Hes scoring ok and due to price rise. Imo play menadue or trade elsewhere

Watermoose · 09/04/2016 at 09:24

I'm also looking to upgrade Rockliff in my midfield.

I'm liking the options of Blicavs or Priddis.

What would people choose? Blicavs is going well but i'm not too sure if I tust him. Is he a reliable player for the whole season?

    Derek · 09/04/2016 at 09:43

Wait a week or two on Priddis, will get cheaper

    abel · 09/04/2016 at 10:15

siri · 09/04/2016 at 09:36

I m taking gray's score

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 09:39

That is the sensible thing to do. By doing so, you know where you are at, and can chill out for the rest of the round. I am mentally prepared for one of my other players to go huge, but there will be no regrets on my part.

@RealGreekMamba · 09/04/2016 at 09:47

Who is more of a must have?
Hall or Kennedy

I'm going to offload Rocky to one of the two but I can't decide. Going to Kennedy means one extra trade but the cash is tempting

    Hawks · 09/04/2016 at 13:08

I think Hall, he looks like a keeper and top 6 forward this season

tippa · 09/04/2016 at 09:49

I'm being greedy and not taking Gray's score. The questions is who do I risk? Pendles, Fyfe, Gaz, Danger?

rayza · 09/04/2016 at 09:52

Play which one Hewitt, Menadue or Mills for last midfield spot.

    FootyFanatic · 09/04/2016 at 10:00

      rayza · 09/04/2016 at 10:23

    Youngy · 09/04/2016 at 11:47

    Ye Mills for sure

medadsson · 09/04/2016 at 09:54

Ok, I am a risk taker … I am passing on Gray's score and going C on Dangerfield – call it greed, call it stupditity but I call it Extreme Supercoach 🙂

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 10:07

In that movie Wall Street, Michael Douglas famously said; "Greed is good". That was a classic.

Hope it comes off for you. If it does, it will be a buzz alright. If not, no wallowing on here come Sunday arvo!

    Cheers mate

    Shake n bake · 09/04/2016 at 11:07

Really not worth the risk, even if your capt scores 140 that's only 17 more pts. Unless you think that 17pts might get you over the line. But im so not taking the risk. Good luck.

      medadsson · 09/04/2016 at 14:27

Gotta roll the dice and string out my opponents, make the game last the whole weekend 🙂

    I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 11:30

That's the spirit Medad. Get them out & shake them all about

      medadsson · 09/04/2016 at 14:33

lol … will be careful not to bruise them if Danger goes big

        DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 19:38

        Much bruising Medads

          medadsson · 10/04/2016 at 20:50

Currently packed in ice, quite an odd feeling really.

Phil · 09/04/2016 at 09:56

Think I'll take it. I don't think Danger is a reliable Captain option, he is better used as a VC. Ablett & Fyfe are better C options, I'd usually roll the dice on these 2 with any score under 130 I just feel they're not flying like they have in previous years. I think 120 is the new VC lock score.

    I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 11:28

Agree with ya Phil. I'd feel more confident with Gary orbFyfe. Although against the lions you'd think he's almost certain for 130+

      medadsson · 10/04/2016 at 17:16

      In a half 🙂

hedski · 09/04/2016 at 11:06

Vc'd robbie and think I'll be greedy and give danger a crack at the big c. At the cattery against the lions cats will be out for blood after last week.
Here's a poser community – tippas 71 vs spudlow?
Tippas 71 vs mills? Also have menadue e'd on mid bench so will get a look at him before mills plays aswell. Cheers

    Phil · 09/04/2016 at 11:58

    I'd take Barlow.

      hedski · 09/04/2016 at 12:14

Thinking that phil surely he's due

Alex · 09/04/2016 at 11:11

Mennadue or Davis on field?

Cheers community

    Youngy · 09/04/2016 at 11:47

    Mennadue 100%

    Paulie Walnuts · 09/04/2016 at 12:14

I'm having 2 bites – I have Petracca on field with Menadue benched with the E on him,if he doesn't score at least 60 I will sub in Davis for Petracca

      hedski · 09/04/2016 at 12:35

I have e on menadue and if he hits 80+ petracca on mills off

I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 11:18

I'd probably go Menadue

I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 11:27

Happy with Dea last night. Tipa fun to watch. Pooh Brown is exactly that. Hoping Gary scores 180 & puts non owners to the sword

    Average Joe · 09/04/2016 at 12:23

Not just non-owners but also people that don't put the C on him

      I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 12:33

I have the vc firmly placed on him Joe

Youngy · 09/04/2016 at 11:47

Putting my faith in Goldy this week with the C.

    LEKD0G · 09/04/2016 at 12:20

Not a bad choice, historically scores well against them but does Gawn stop him?

    DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 17:24

Don't do it youngy. 3 games gone and no ruck has passed 95 ruck scores are down for all games with the new rules. Ruck scores have gone from M4 comparable back to D3 comparable

      Youngy · 09/04/2016 at 22:06

Now that Rich is out I will beable to take Abletts score 🙂

    @TheNoLanguage · 10/04/2016 at 21:39

Hope you kept the faith in Goldfish?!

LEKD0G · 09/04/2016 at 12:21

VC on Parker or Mitchell and C on Fyfe

    Kim · 09/04/2016 at 12:55

Supposedly coginlio might tag Parker I read, that's who went onto danger last week at 1/4 time and we all know how that turned out. Just some food for thought lekdog.

    Holty · 09/04/2016 at 14:36

dont risk parker, go mitchell lek. Mitvhell wont get tagged. Parker may.

Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 12:24

Football 🙂

Average Joe · 09/04/2016 at 12:28

VC on Gaz and C on Goldy

    I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 12:35

    Like it

    Luke · 09/04/2016 at 12:38

Like it. Doing the same with Ablett to Dangerfield. Will be just my luck Ablett scores 150+ then Dunkley gets a late call up and can't loophole it.

      Kim · 09/04/2016 at 12:59

Which is why I picked goetz for Bulldogs in ruck, won't play at all this year and besides next week play late sat arvo, sat night and Sunday's for first 10 or so weeks. It pays to look carefully at the draw. Why so many went what for Coll is beyond me. Or the Gold Coast cheap ruck, means u can't loophole if u have Ablett. Very silly. Like I said apart from next week I can loophole either danger or Ablett and get 2 shots at capt every week. Very handy indeed.

        Kim · 09/04/2016 at 12:59

Wyatt I meant, stupid auto correct!

          Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:39

I went with Melbourne's max king due to an abundance of Sunday and Saturday games too. Plus he may step in if max gawn gets injured.

        DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 12:47

Wise words KimmyD but the LabRats will still beat you by 300pts in the Hell league:-)

Bob · 09/04/2016 at 12:31

Should I get R.Laird or JJ in? I feel both are solid picks.

    I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 12:35

Like Laird more. Before this season JJ has only ever tonned up once. Ever. Now he has 3

      SCaddict · 09/04/2016 at 13:33

I think Pieman may have got on the turps a little early today as JJ tonned up 5 times in SC last season alone.

I reckon both are great picks Bob and it's hard to pass up JJ for sheer value. In fact I'm ditching Barlow for JJ myself although I do already have Laird fwiw. So I'm putting my money where my mouth is as it were. Hopefully it doesn't bite me too badly against the Hawks t'row ha ha.

        I N Pieman · 09/04/2016 at 14:22

        It's never to early

    Shinboner · 09/04/2016 at 16:03

I think you'll want the both by the end of the year, I've got them both but I think laird is probably the one you would get in 1st

hedski · 09/04/2016 at 12:38

A little nagging voice keeps telling me to be conservative and takes grays vc score.
(Another one is saying crack a beer and go mow the lawns, I'll listen to that one for now 😉 )

    Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 12:47

    2nd option sounds good

    The Ranger · 09/04/2016 at 13:02

    Captains Score Rules
    Rule 1 – 120 and below you don't take.
Rule 2 – 130 and above you do take.
Rule 3 – Anything in between is a nightmare and although there is no hard and fast rule that can be applied it is essential that beer plays a part in your decision making process,

      Rick Grimes · 09/04/2016 at 15:07

Sage advice. I'll get a head of steam up and see where it takes me

        hedski · 09/04/2016 at 15:32

Very true ranger. I've mown lawns and clicked my fourth.
Still no closer to deciding. Have till suns game tonight to decide between gray gaz or danger. Aargh
Should be a bit more lubed up and decisive by then

Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 12:39

Crouching one wins the tap using his fly kick jump technique, ball lands into the arms of BVC who gets tackled hard by two players but some how squeezes out a clean handball to Patch who then passes to Reynolds these old legs still have some pace as he runs to the edge of the centre square.
Lek Dog Running along side him absolutely cleans up a would be tackler WHAT A BUMP!!! Reyonolds faints a hand pass to Higgo but thought better of it knowing Higgo would probably do some mathematics around the 50 metre arc, so Reynolds spears a fast and low kick….wwwwoooaaahhh it has found the safe hands of WAYNO!!!

This is a lad you want to be taking shot right now and with 11 goals 3 behinds so far after 2 rounds he looks set to kick his 12th……kick looks good very good, Never any doubt straight through the the big ones.

Brookesy · 09/04/2016 at 13:31

No loophole option this week, am tossing up between Ablett and Fyfe. Think Ablert is more safe but Has the added attraction of being a unique in all my league matchups. Thoughts, community?

    medadsson · 09/04/2016 at 15:36

Ablett at home vs Carlton or Fyfe in underperforming midfield vs West Coast … I'd go Ablett.

Luviboy1 · 09/04/2016 at 15:01

Menadue not looking good. Taking Dunkley off the field currently. Hewett or Davis to come on?

    hedski · 09/04/2016 at 15:08

Looks like I'll be leaving mills on.
Out of those I liks davis at metricon vs carlton.
    Might snag a couple.
    Hmm mills or davis now?

      Luviboy1 · 09/04/2016 at 15:14

Have to play both unfortunately. Like the look of Davis.

Only 33 ball ups in first half of pies game. Consistently down 20-30% from last year.

Any ideas on average stoppages last year compared to this year Derrick?
Working on a blockbuster trade! 😉

Westy · 09/04/2016 at 15:34

Montagna is looking good today.

Holty · 09/04/2016 at 15:35

ummm, im not even a Collingwood supporter but what is Buckley doing. FFS, put your best players in the middle and win some clearences. Pendlebury has played this whole 3rd quarter in the backline. Why?

    Northernsoul74 · 09/04/2016 at 15:39

He's played all season there. He only tonned up the other week due to a load of cheap posessions behind the ball.

      Holty · 09/04/2016 at 15:42

this is true but what im getting at is what is Buckley doing? It obviously not working for them. They are getting smashed out of the centre so put there best players in there and start winning some ball.

        Duffer · 09/04/2016 at 23:21

He’s a solid defensive rebounder something that Collingwood lack a bit. They have an abundance of midfielders but not enough good defensive ball users, so Buckley made the call to move pendle to that job.

    SCaddict · 09/04/2016 at 15:54

Maybe protecting those bruised/cracked ribs? I'm not watching the game btw so merely guessing.

Anyway I didn't like the way things were trending for Pendles output this season so I ditched him for Gray last week somewhat controversially.

Alex · 09/04/2016 at 15:49

I have Riewoldt had 71 at HT and finished with 73

Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 15:59

Pendlebury owners getting burnt this year

    Luviboy1 · 09/04/2016 at 16:10

Buckley the idiot waits 3qts to put him in the midfield!

      magpie4ver · 09/04/2016 at 16:17

Yeah it sucks but Pendels is a little banged up with the ribs I guess?

        Holty · 09/04/2016 at 17:12

true but if he is so banged up, why risk him in the middle when the game is over. Pendles in the middle in the last quarter was the only time in the 2nd half Collingwood looked dangerous. Guess its so annoying for me as i have him at present

Hawks · 09/04/2016 at 16:11

No captain loophole available to me because I'm not taking Menadues score.

Who should I choose as captain?

Help please, favoring Ablett at the moment

    SCaddict · 09/04/2016 at 16:14

I'd go with the bald genius. Yep Menadue has mucked me around too so I now need to go Hanners as VC and Gaz as C.

    MaccasMarvels · 09/04/2016 at 18:15

I don't have Ablett so my toss up was between Fyfe and Danger and I'm going with Danger……. 1st game at his new home against weak-ish opposition. Fingers crossed. Reckon Fyfe might just carry on from last week too, so it really was a flip the coin job.

hedski · 09/04/2016 at 16:33

So this will be genius or stupidity but I've benched mills in favour of davis. Click

    Dom VB · 09/04/2016 at 17:51

Wouldn't be too happy bout that

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:06

Like your style I had the same feeling and actually played Davis over menadue and hewett. Sure I only made a few extra points but it's nice to know when your hunches are correct. Knew Richmond would get beaten by crow's convincingly so menadue was never even a thought honestly. Already had mills on field for injured b crouch.

      hedski · 10/04/2016 at 01:53

My thinking SS was a mature body (davis)

Rick Grimes · 09/04/2016 at 17:09

Mills, Hewitt, Papley, 15 points between them at qtr time. Greeeeeat.

Dean · 09/04/2016 at 17:26

The pap smear is cold as ice now that everyone has him, he could get dropped if he doesn't do something in the second half

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 17:34

Could be a case of a snatch and grab. Grab the 100K and move him on. Has hardly touched it so far.

Derek · 09/04/2016 at 17:44

Paps is on 1 at half time. Room for improvment

    Derek · 09/04/2016 at 18:01

    Hewett on 6

      The Ranger · 09/04/2016 at 18:36

And half an hour ago I was congratulating myself on taking Hewitt over Menadue…

        Derek · 09/04/2016 at 19:11

That was an impressive second half

DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 17:53

1 rookie on field and it's Papley. I feel for anybody who has papley, menadue, brown, hewitt on field. Mitchell is on track for a solid 70 too arrgghh

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 17:56

Menadue on bench- good, brown on bench-good, dont have hewitt-good, Papley on field- his score will be as a donut the way its going. Pathetic.

    Grahame Lebroy · 09/04/2016 at 18:44

I took AMT's 71 last night and put Paps on the bench. Unfortunately I have Hewitt on the ground. And got R.Davis to come tonight, not good.

Mayniac · 09/04/2016 at 18:01

So – Rich is out? Perfect!
The V on Gas which means I can put the C on Mitchell/Danger

and Rich as the loophole

    Nicholas · 09/04/2016 at 18:18

I dont think rich it out where is your source?

MaccasMarvels · 09/04/2016 at 18:17

I won't be on my Pat Malone here, I know that, but bringing Parker in is looking like a solid point scoring decision.

    Derek · 09/04/2016 at 18:29

    Parker gets all JPK's handballs.

      Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 19:22

And lovin it. I am thinking of getting JPK a bit later this season.

Nicholas · 09/04/2016 at 18:22

So happy i got rid of greene after round 1 knew hed be another griffin

    SCaddict · 09/04/2016 at 18:39

Yep the ole burnman odd rounds, teaser even rounds, Jekyll & Hyde yo yo routine.

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 19:20

Well done mate. Greene is a spud. Must have caught Griffen's disease. Never had him, but still have Barlow. His day of reckoning will start in 20 minutes.

    hedski · 09/04/2016 at 19:22

    Same brought in Parker 🙂

Nicholas · 09/04/2016 at 18:59

Pity ill be taking a donut for rich this week

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:12

At least it means you won't be totally furious with his performance this week. You've got big plums holding him

      Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 03:01

Had to get rid of rocky and dunkley and my trades were locked when i realised rich was out and my bench rookies had alrdy played

    DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 12:44

Seriously? You don't have any playing def bench players at round 3 wtf

      Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 16:30

I have two essendon ones that i didnt put emergency on so my bad

Foti186 · 09/04/2016 at 19:22

I put the VC on houli

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:13

hedski · 09/04/2016 at 19:29

SC Addict and any other true believers out there.
I have forgone robbies vc and my favoured Danger so that I could choose bald baby jeebers and shove it up the heathen judas no gazza.
Also pretty happy atm that I benched mills for Davis hope he turns it on.
Papley came home hard 52 in last half great pity about first half.
I'm on just above 800 with 8 played coming into suns game, happy with that (well amber oiled up too)
How are you trackin community? Cheers

    Lazy_Simmo · 09/04/2016 at 19:33

with ya Hedski ole mate! rolling dice with C on Danger – some flat track action in front of his new adoring fans 😉

      Lazy_Simmo · 09/04/2016 at 19:35

will no doubt regret not backing in bald jesus as well tho! the long wait till sunday night..

        hedski · 09/04/2016 at 19:42

Yeah simmo danger will shred I reckon

    dognino · 09/04/2016 at 22:49

1525 with 8 to play . Put the C on the bald genius cos I'm a true believer . Lol. Projected for 2280

      hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:18

Nice dogninonino. Fingerbang it like cartman.

        hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:20

1556 8 to go. Jeevers caapitano

    SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 02:01

Hey Hedski yeah I went Gazza too for C with decent results. Had some major power problems at my place which kind of short circuited my SC plans today.

Ended up not trading Barlow as I wanted to and got off very fortunately by the looks. Really wanted to get JJ in but have no one left to trade for him now other than Bartel but just can't really justify that sideways correction unfortunately.

      hedski · 10/04/2016 at 08:42

Lady luck Barlow was on last legs. He looked good.

Luviboy1 · 09/04/2016 at 19:54

Could be a blessing in disguise!

    SCaddict · 09/04/2016 at 20:01

I doubt it. Should have just made my trades at the start of the round rather than leaving it to the last minute.

Hopefully his would've been replacement JJ doesn't go off t'row.

      MaccasMarvels · 09/04/2016 at 20:40

I'm not watching the game but the stats are showing Barlow must be playing much better than weeks 1 & 2. I kept him and chucked him on the field. How long can I hold my breath!!!! Come on son.

Papley sat on my bench which is also a Tick at the moment……. Menadue on the field less so, by the length of the Flemington straight!!!

        SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 02:03

Yes I'm very lucky that Barlow posted a decent score. Power was off for 14 hours arrrgggh!

Still it has mucked up my JJ acquisition plans so will have to look at getting him in next week now at an elevated price. I know first world problems huh! 🙂

          CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 10:38

That could be a blessing in disguise Addict. I'm going to trade in JJ today, but I'm worried that the Hawks will sit on him and not let him rack up 30 touches. He might struggle with a tag, score 55 and you'll be grateful for the power outage!

          CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 18:15

Going to re-think JJ now Addict?

            Kang · 10/04/2016 at 19:45

I felt comfortable bringin in JJ even though I knew the hawks would keep him quiet. He is going to be a keeper at the end of the season and his price now is the cheapest you'll ever see him.

            SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 22:55

Good chance I'll still bring him in. Has only gone up $35K and Doggies have a nice run coming up with Blues and Lions up next.

It probably won't be at Barlow's expense though. If Crouch doesn't get up again this week he'll be the likely trade bait.

But will explore all the options this Thursday night including just holding on to my current squad.

Holty · 09/04/2016 at 20:09

lol. just looked at sc scores. Fyfe with 3 handballs, 1 tackle and a free against and on 25points. I sometimes wonder if sc have favorite players. Cant complain though as if he keeps scoring like that ill be happy as ill bring him in next week

Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 20:09

Barlow on target for 80

    DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 20:39

Looking like it might be a ton Davo.
I never had him so I don't care either way

      Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 20:46

Yeah huge 2nd quarter and my god he did some rucking against NicNat lol
Sandi taken down by a flying knee, me thinks this is crouching ones to talk about this podcast 🙂

DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 20:35

Dont ya just love it when your 220k D5 is on 69 at half-time

    DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 20:36

Not so happy with my 429k D3 being on 30 at half-time though

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 20:49

Aaaaaaaahhh He bloody gun. Weiter go bang!!! Welcome

      DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 21:23

      Outscoring Gaz at 3/4time

        Scyb · 09/04/2016 at 22:03

        No one outscores gaz!

Shinboner · 09/04/2016 at 20:42

Sandi is down and Freo have no backup ruck tonight. Midfield output (read: Fyfe and Barlow) will drop significantly.

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 20:52

Looks like Nic Nat will have a field day in the second half. All those taps to advantage……….Happy days

SC16 · 09/04/2016 at 21:42

held barlow this week boys. seems to be paying off! also resisted getting papley until I saw him play a big team. patience… be a tortoise, not a hare

    Tophawk · 09/04/2016 at 21:48

    I held Barlow as well.

Just………. With Sandi out as well now with ribs, I reckon Barlow is a hold.

      Monkey_Magic · 09/04/2016 at 23:02

SC16, we traded in Pap to make $$$, he was never going to be a keeper

        dognino · 09/04/2016 at 23:21

Yeah, no point trading paps in after his first price rice. I got him in for Simpkin, 100k in the pocket, and whatever he manages to increase by before he gets dropped off the list.

Tulendeena · 09/04/2016 at 21:45

Hewett, Papley, Mills and Greene combine for a whopping 169 points!

That's gonna hurt, regardless of what happens further on

DadSmasher · 09/04/2016 at 21:54

I doubt Carlton will win a game this year. Looks like they've been taking the supplement opposite of Jim had the cheetahs on

    MaccasMarvels · 09/04/2016 at 22:02

They could give the Pies a run for their money, the way we're playing. Woeful.

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:07

Agree. Collingwood seems to be in trouble this year, with or without key players missing.

    LOGICAL · 10/04/2016 at 12:15

Bit harsh. All they r missing is polish. Should have beat the tiges and got run over in the last qtr by the two top of the ladders teams at the moment. Wait and see how the go against a bottom 6 side.

Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 22:00

Ablett poops out 131 have him VC will take that thank you very much but……
He is injured no doubt about it guys interesting times ahead

    Scyb · 09/04/2016 at 22:01

Think he will be ok. If he wasnt, prob would have just sat out considering they had a handy lead

    Super Star

      Davonaise · 09/04/2016 at 22:04

just does not look right though, it's funny if anything it really looks like he is unfit, was just roaming around packs all night and most of his touches by hands.

Right though he is still a gun

    Shinboner · 09/04/2016 at 23:09

Injured Ablett >> rest of competition.

    hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:27

Had the cap on him Davo and happy but I see what your saying. Looked slow proppy and carrying a shoulder. Amen.

      Kev · 10/04/2016 at 07:44

23 tackles in 3 weeks. Must be a painful shoulder injury!

    Matt · 10/04/2016 at 00:35

Everyone keeps on saying this, but when he's knocking out 35 touches and 8 tackles I'm not gonna worry about it too much

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:42

Exactly. Its ablett. You loophole someone and if it fails u put the c on gaz.
Same as it's always been in my eyes.

Luviboy1 · 09/04/2016 at 22:04

West Coast derby, 5 minutes left in the last quarter, and not one player has cracked the tonne. Baffling stuff.

Youngy · 09/04/2016 at 22:08

Mills, Papey, Kerridge, Brown. All on field…. GREAT

Nice to see JPK score something good. Hopefully he keeps it up, still shattered I didn't go with Parker.

Derek · 09/04/2016 at 22:29

64 ball ups in Suns game and 69 in west coast game.

This is significant trend

    Paulie Walnuts · 09/04/2016 at 22:43

Correct, then Ruck Scores are very low, excellent point Derek

    hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:28

I thonk black cavs is a must now.

      hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:29

      Not black caviar. blicavs.

        Swans2012 · 10/04/2016 at 00:04

Yeah I'm thinking blics could be the go, I've got Sinclair spudding it at r2, was going to swing him forward and keep him all year but now I think he's gone. I have the $$$ to upgrade to blics, think I will pending his game this week

    Phil · 09/04/2016 at 23:35

Having Lobbe might now be as bad as you think, at least you can access your options and upgrade to the (hopefully) best ruckmen without sideways trading. Just who is it? Going off your data I'm thinking Martin & Blicavs might be a chance!

    DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 12:54

Whats the average ball ups p/game this year v last year?
Whats the average throw ins p/game this year v last year?

    FootyFanatic · 10/04/2016 at 15:03

Doesn't seem to be affecting Gawn or Goldy

Iamme · 09/04/2016 at 23:03

How's everybody going? 1509/15….I will take Gazzas 135 as capt.

Still to play – Adams, Libba, Goldy, Wells, BenKen. Zorko and Danger

    Shinboner · 09/04/2016 at 23:08

1688/15, Gaz as captain (passed on Gray's VC). Good luck.

      Iamme · 09/04/2016 at 23:16

Thats a pretty decent score for this round Shinboner, good luck to you.

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 09/04/2016 at 23:31

About 1400 with abletts 135 to come as capt. Hoping to get around 2200 with mendaue, paps and davis on field. Happy with team now with barlow gone and wingard to come back next week for paps and gray to come in for rocky putting davis back on the bench.

Watched the suns game tonight hall def top 6 fwd and the composure and skill of weita is quite remarkable for a 3rd gamer. Shoe in for rising star this week and a nice ton for us supercoaches. And dea nearly tonning up pretty handy d5 and d6.

      Derek · 09/04/2016 at 23:48

I have to admit. Hall did look pretty good.

        TRIGGER HAPPY · 09/04/2016 at 23:56

That's the one choice jocks great community talked me into. Hadn't seen him play till tonight but looks like i owe jocks rebel rousers a big thank you. Just feeds off abs and quick. Kid can play and run like the wind blows …

    hedski · 09/04/2016 at 23:32

1556 gaz cap. Adams Libba Gibbo Gawn BenKen Goldy Wells Danger to go.

1382/13 and God is my capitan.

With some luck and a smashing score from the Dangerzone i should top 2400. Woo!

    Marvin · 10/04/2016 at 09:06

16/1687 including VC gaz and dea's score (thanks d rich) with gawn, zorko, wells, Kennedy, Adams and Libba to come. Was looking very pear shaped at one point with the pap smearing it up and lambert stinking it up. Anyway hoping for 2300 at least. #teambarlow

Marco_Polo94 · 09/04/2016 at 23:12

Wowee what a night! Happy I kept Barlow, happy I took gaz as skip over gRay even after being burned by danger last week, happy paps is on my bench, happy with Houli, couldn't have asked for a better Saturday!!

    magpie4ver · 09/04/2016 at 23:22

I'm glad i dumped him….so he had 1 good game out of 3……their are rookies scoring as good if not better……he will lose a drop big in price and probably be the Griffin of last year. He will be a dud! Just like Greene!

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 09/04/2016 at 23:36

Depends how long sandi is out for but the freo mids fyfe, barlow etc could really feel the effects over the next few weeks like they did in rd 1 when the big man was missing.

      Southern S · 09/04/2016 at 23:56

Barlow will be a POD now glad I kept him too, he scored great in the nab and I can't afford to ditch a potential keeper after 2 games if fit.

Sshh. Missus asleep. Bring that Patrick Swayze sexy mofo $hit out and …..

tuxCS · 09/04/2016 at 23:16

I've been ruined by having Hewett, mills, and Papsmear on the field. Was looking OK until then 1570 from 16 having already played my captain, still got gawn, Wells, benken, Adams, libba and danger to play, hopefully they can do me well and get me to 2200, at this point after the disaster this round has been so far, I'd be very happy with that

    Derek · 09/04/2016 at 23:45

I'd gladly take that. Rich, Wingard, Crouch, Rocky & Gresham all on my bench, I had to have Davis on field.

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:13

Holy crap no trades done this week?

      tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 00:13

Jesus Derek, I hate that someone that contributes as much to the community as you is having such trouble at only round 3. Supercoach is certainly a cruel place

        hedski · 10/04/2016 at 00:16

Only if you're not prepared to play

          Derek · 10/04/2016 at 01:12

I can be a little stubborn at times, this week was all about having the right rookies which I did, not about trading out players who will miss one or two weeks.

I can see a few more tough weeks ahead. Plenty of premos carrying injuries, I need to keep my trades. Hopefully I don't fall to far behind.

            Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:27

Well it sounds like you made rookie corrective trades which was wise. Your premos are returning fairly soon so you should come good. I just pictured you sitting in on your trades and not doing anythingbut its the case of bad sc luck.

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:34

Rich and Gresham really should've gone. I'd be mad right now

Swans2012 · 10/04/2016 at 00:15

Well that's me cooked for this week… with rich out I get to put browns 38 next to paps 46 alongside mills 56 under sinclairs 52, and to top it off I decided that I didn't need weiter…..

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:21

Good luck for next week you're going to need it

      Swans2012 · 10/04/2016 at 07:59

Nah not so much luck needed next week, the spuds go back to the bench and I get to reinvest the warchest from this week….

tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 00:26

I've got a dilemma community, assuming that J.J plays well against proven opposition (hawthorn), who do I trade out of weitering, Adams and dea? I'm feeling like dea is the better choice, because even though he nearly tonned up last night, I don't really trust him as an on field player. Keep in mind that I have about 800K in the bank, so I could upgrade brown or AMT to him. I just feel like the money would be used more efficiently through trading Dea, because I have some 200k upgrades in mind

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:32

Don't like it at all I'm going to call it out as the rookie move of the week. He's scoring really well and it could continue

      tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 00:36

Yes but have you actually seen Dea play? He's extraordinarily unspectacular and I just don't see him doing enough when his team is going to get smashed every other week

        Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:50

An 87 and a 95 for a 180k player's last two games is more than you could hope for. His be will be awesome. Can't fathom it.

          tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 01:01

Yeah I can see your point, I'll probably trade mitch brown or AMT (depending on higher price) and swing M.Adams into the forward line, so that they all can get a game, and also so I don't have to field that spud papley ever again.

            Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:21

Yeah well papley was due for a small one. So were all the young Sydney rookies and it happened all in the same week. Brown seems to be fairly stagnant and surely would be first to go

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 00:40

    Get rid of Fyfe

      tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 00:42

I like it. Love it, in fact.

    DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 12:51

Dude you've got 800k turn some of those numpties into premos and score some points

      tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 13:06

What's the name of your team Dad? (God that sounds weird saying it haha) I think I might be in a league with you, my team name is Scorpions V

        DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 13:20

JimsLabRats tux. I recall seeing that Scorpions name in a league

Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 00:27

Just had a funny thought about Pendlebury guys

He will be the most selected player next year being a Def/Mid and under 600k lol
There is an upside

    tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 00:36

I feel the same way about swan next year too, I feel like he'll be a bit like liberatore

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 00:55

Difference is he'll be super high risk being around 33 years old? His fitness may diminish a lot without the use of his foot, not saying he won't come back but Libbe is 10 years his junior

        tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 01:03

Notice how I said "a bit"

          Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 01:17

Ah yes u did my bad. I'm not sure if swanny will even come back though? Who knows

Northernsoul64 · 10/04/2016 at 00:50

Tough but really enjoying this season. We all get spoon fed so much info but there's a real test of judgment his year.

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 01:22

You only eat the food you can forage when winters coming. I hate game ot

    dan · 10/04/2016 at 01:22

having my best year ever inside the top 500

      tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 02:12

      Nice Dan, good stuff

dj_c · 10/04/2016 at 06:13

Big problem need community help…

Ranked top 2% but MUST win league match vs big rival mate.

I'm up by 58 with only J.J. left vs his Goldie and Clayton Oliver.

Rest of our teams same including danger (as C)
[+ he can't loop hole out of it]

Do I ride it out n hope for best ?

Take Gaza's 135 (VC) but sacrifice BenKen for a 71 McDTip (E) on my bench?

[If I do it will put me up by 264 with J.J. & Danger to play vs his Goldie, Oliver, BenKen & Danger(C).

What to do???

    Paulie Walnuts · 10/04/2016 at 08:00

    Luke · 10/04/2016 at 08:07

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 08:45

Option 2 gives you more hope, although I would still consider your mate a strong favourite in your match. If JJ can produce another biggie and scores 136, it would mean your mate would have to reel in 400 points to beat you. The footy gods would have to be on your side today. It is possible. Good luck!

    dj_c · 10/04/2016 at 11:06

I blody love this game … R1 to finals … I actually watch more footy now cause of supercoach than before

    Lachie · 10/04/2016 at 13:02

I would go option 1, danger could go big today

Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 07:10

Who wins

Bartel + 109 vs Gawn and JJ?

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 08:58

Bartel could post a decent score today against the lowly Lions in Geelong. JJ is playing against real competition in Hawthorn today. His output could be slightly down as well as Gawn as he is up against Goldy. Bartel + 109 look like the winners. Cheers

    Flucka · 10/04/2016 at 08:59

He who dares wins! Trade bartel!

    Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 09:32

ive got the gawn and jj combo

    Wayno76 · 10/04/2016 at 11:55

I have Bartel I think he will score well at home

Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 09:46

i think Derek's point about the amount of ball ups in each game so far this year compared to last is a damning statistic.

This could easily bring the scoring potential down, i think this should be talked about a little in tonight's podcast.

    CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 10:36

Good point – it is definitely a factor.

      Derek · 10/04/2016 at 10:57

Its about 20 less stoppages per game. Makes sense, 5 per quarter.

        Derek · 10/04/2016 at 10:58

        Podcast is Tuesday's now

          Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 12:10

          oh Tuesday my bad 🙂

    Derek · 10/04/2016 at 16:30

109 stoppages in the Norf game

      Monkey_Magic · 10/04/2016 at 17:35

No wonder massive score from Gawn! Goldy 5 goals helped him otherwise monstered by Gawn!

        Holty · 11/04/2016 at 09:34

I guess this is why Goldy is the #1 ruck in the comp. Even when he is getting monstered in the hit-outs, he still finds a way to hurt you.

Mick · 10/04/2016 at 09:56

Going for league win,251 down with goldy,Gawn, suckling & danger to come. Mate has Zac smith to come. I've taken gods score but can loophole to danger. Yr thoughts?

    Mick · 10/04/2016 at 10:25

Thinking I should take the great mans score as captain, but always had in my my mind all week that danger would be going really big against a depleted lions side & make him captain. When playing against a mate my judgement sometimes gets clouded. Thanks for yr thoughts, & good luck community for remaining games.

    CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 10:35

Take Ablett's score for sure. Best case Stefan Martin dominates Smith and keeps his score down. I worry that Gawn might struggle against Goldy and I'm not sure the Hawks will let Suckling rack up touches by himself across half back. You're in a good position though…Good luck!

      Mick · 10/04/2016 at 12:20

Thanks Coachdamo thinking the same now after more thought & ur advice . Thanks & good luck

Wayno76 · 10/04/2016 at 10:04

I'm going in with danger as captain expecting (hoping) for a big score today could end up with 2500+ this week 🙂

CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 10:25

I was disappointed at 2pm yesterday because I accidentally had Papley on the field instead of Menadue. Who would've thought Papley's 46 would be the better score!

CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 10:33

Toby Greene…I'm usually a patient coach, but 52?

    SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 11:21

He could be the new Griffen – hot on even rounds and ice cold on odd rounds. I saw some coaches here trading him in this round so I'm sure they're feeling a little nauseous this morning too.

So just have to put up with the roller coaster I reckon as he will probably bang out another ton next weekend, although never any guarantees in SC of course.

I wonder if Jock will take him out the back of the bungalow at some point to go and try and find his mate Rocky. 🙂

      CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 12:33

It's funny you say that – I rode the Ryan Griffen rollercoaster all season last year! At least his 'low' weeks were 70-80, not 50s. My focus is leagues not total points and his 50s will hurt in close matches so he might have to go. I'm thinking Greene to Zaharakis next week.

        SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 12:43

Yes easy for me to say hold as I don't have him.

I brought in Zaka this weekend and even with the Dons obliterated he still racked up his 3rd straight ton so hard to see that going too far south for you, although it will cost you extra dough this week.

          Jimi · 10/04/2016 at 23:00

Zaka is mid only this year. Started strong but if you're trading out Greene I'd have thought you want it to be for someone who is going to be in your final team (like a top 8-10 mid).

        Jimi · 10/04/2016 at 23:05

I'm in the same boat with Greene (and also went through it with Griffen last year).

Initially I was ready to rage trade Green but I think at this stage you've just got to hold your nerve with him. I don't see any good downgrade options and I don't have enough of a war chest to upgrade him to full premo just yet. Going to have to wait for some of the rookies to plumpen up a little bit – at least it gives him a few more weeks to prove himself.

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 11:45

Best move I made was rage trading spitta to parker after round 1

      Lachie · 10/04/2016 at 15:09

      that's silly

LOGICAL · 10/04/2016 at 12:04

For everyone who is complaining about paps score this week I ask why? He is a small forward who should score around 50-60 each week. There is no way he was going to score 100 every [email protected] that is why I just shake my head at everyone trading rocky/Barlow to paps expecting the same output? Was never gonna happen. U should only have traded a rook to paps to get the $ but not a premo! Most rooks 70 is a good score u can't rely on them every week to punch out a big score. I might get a bit better out put out of the seasoned rooks ie wells and Kennedy but first years be happy with 70.

    Derek · 10/04/2016 at 12:54

He was 1 at half time. Take the 50

TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 12:17

U tell us benchmark.

    The benchmark · 10/04/2016 at 12:24

    I'd have a guess at 2200-2250
    What's everyone projected to hit

      Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 12:39

      Around 2250 me thinks

      Iamme · 10/04/2016 at 12:42

      I'm hoping for 2300 plus.

      Phil · 10/04/2016 at 12:45

I'm looking at about 2150 I think. My clubs not the best place to be around at the moment, a lot of finger pointing going on. I think my structure is pretty sound with Crouch @M8 (only rookie mid worth getting is Parish) and Hall @F1….It just hurts when the game Crouch decides to miss, Hewitt punches out a 20.

      SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 14:31

I think Goldy and Gawn have blown that out of the water.

Phil · 10/04/2016 at 12:48

What to do with Lonergan? Apparently he tagged Cripps and done a fair job, which is bad cos that means he will keep tagging. Lesson learnt, never predict a mid price break out.

    Blueth · 10/04/2016 at 12:52

yeah Lonergan is a slow footy butcher, perfect tagger

Blueth · 10/04/2016 at 12:51

Quick question grlz….Just watching Cox dominate the magoos. Is he up for selection or does his rookie status prohibit this? #hotcox

Sully321 · 10/04/2016 at 13:00

With rich now out I can take grays 123 as captain score. I'm looking for both overall points and league wins. My opponent has Martin and Bartel remaining and I'm 205 ahead. If I take grays score he will need 328 from Bartel and Martin and if I take danger as C he will need Martin and bartels scores to total 205 plus Dangers score (he also has danger but not as captain). I'm leaning towards taking gray's score as I feel it's the safest bet and pretty much guarantees the win but danger could go big against the lions and I could miss out on an even bigger total score.

    JDP · 10/04/2016 at 14:05

    Who says Rich is out?

      dognino · 10/04/2016 at 14:47

Afl website. He was withdrawn yesterday afternoon

Phil · 10/04/2016 at 13:15

Swan can be put on the long term injury list so they could easily find a way if they want.

steve1 · 10/04/2016 at 13:28

Hi guys, anyone know what the +1 , +3 , +2 etc mean when you are on the fan footy website mean? I watch it live and it obviously means the player has done something good but does it mean points?

    steve1 · 10/04/2016 at 13:35

nevermind, i think it means DT points, as i was watching goldys score go up and up for the quarter, holy smokes he had a good first quarter!

    Paulie Walnuts · 10/04/2016 at 13:35

Deam Team points – Kicks,HandBalls,Goals ,Frees for & against ect,ect & the points refreshes at the same time

      steve1 · 10/04/2016 at 13:36

thanks paulie, i was unsure but thanks for clarifying, its hard to stop watching it 🙂

        steve1 · 10/04/2016 at 13:38

he's at 75 sc and counting!

Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 13:36

Looks like Goldy is going massive!

Iamme · 10/04/2016 at 13:36

Anybody got the C on Goldy?…..He's killing it early already 3 goals and 7 hit outs! with about 10 mins remaining until quarter time!

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 13:39

Reckon youngy was sayin he did

    poloko48 · 10/04/2016 at 15:08

Had VC on Fyfe with loophole Max King, decided to roll dice with Goldy C – you bloody beauty!!!

judd0 · 10/04/2016 at 13:38

Goldy on 64 late in the FIRST quarter. What a beast.

    judd0 · 10/04/2016 at 13:43

    Make that 85

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 14:07

What goes up must come down 🙂 he will still be cheaper than his starting price come byes
He is just having a blinda like Gibbo last week

    Still Goldy what a beast

      judd0 · 10/04/2016 at 14:49

Yeah you're right he will be. But if you don't have him you'll be without his points until the byes as well.

        Noigerbour · 10/04/2016 at 20:44

Holding situation only get Connor for the hook

Kim · 10/04/2016 at 13:46

Shaw and goldy! That's why I paid full price at the start of the season! I bet some were wishing they did after this round!

    Kev · 10/04/2016 at 14:17

Lesson in sticking with your premiums and not chasing the player of the week

      Kim · 10/04/2016 at 14:21

It was only a matter of time till they both smashed out a good score, so much for trying to get either in a few weeks at a discounted price!!

    Kim · 10/04/2016 at 14:23

Haha I have goldy and Gawn as my 2 rucks! Goldy 101 Gawn 82 not even half time yet!

    Rick Grimes · 10/04/2016 at 14:30

Nah, was happy to spend that $200k saving on Goldstein elsewhere. All events out if you put it to good use.

Patch · 10/04/2016 at 13:52

Who the hell put that wayward L is Godstein's name? BEAST.

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 14:04

85 pts 10 mins into the second.

With 3 goals so early in the game he will get a fair boost of pts all game to boot so 160+ is 100% on the card

Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 14:08

Gawn is not gonna be dictated to by Goldy. He is playing bloody well also.

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 14:16

yeah he has lifted that beard feeds on being challenged and Goldy is feeding it

Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 14:27

Goldy is scaring me atm kicked his 4th just before half time and now 120 sc points

Luviboy1 · 10/04/2016 at 14:32

Goldy and Gawn. The clash of the titans. This is why I picked these two monsters. Just a shame I was so close to sticking the C on Goldy.

    Holty · 10/04/2016 at 15:20

ive had the vc on goldy first 2 rounds. shame he didnt play saturday as i would have done the same

BigHaydos · 10/04/2016 at 14:36

For those who thought they would be picking up GOLDstein after this round for cheaper then his starting price Hahahahahahahahhahaha

Want points, gotta pay coin

GOLDY+BEARDEDWARRIOR = a match to watch and points to rack up

    Holty · 10/04/2016 at 15:12

agreed. its the battle of the monsters right now.

hedski · 10/04/2016 at 15:26

Wow. Usually cringe when my rucks play each other. 256 points combined at 3 qtr time. Bang

Paulie Walnuts · 10/04/2016 at 15:28

Gawn 123pts is catching Goldy 135pts, Gawn has beaten Goldy in the Ruck 50 hit outs to 29,its only Goldys 2 extra goals that has him in front

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 16:21

And frees lol Gawn 7 against and almost all to GOLDY! So yeah that's what helped even the scores

Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 16:03

What a game!

Hawks#16 · 10/04/2016 at 16:08

Anyone backing danger in for captain?

    medadsson · 10/04/2016 at 17:23

Yep, looking good at this stage!

    Westy · 10/04/2016 at 21:05

Had Goldy as VC, but didn't have a loophole. Sweating it out as was up against The Phantom and about 250 down with Danger as C and Menzel left against Danger alone. Over the line by 9.

Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 16:10

Gawn may have outscored Goldy!! Unbelievable. Will come down to scaling.

Wow. What a game and sensational rucking by both those guys.

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 16:16

Great finish would have been good to see the dees get up

      Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 16:27

Agreed. Don't mind the Dees. Pity I only have Gawn out of those two. I guess I can't complain as the other dude I have is Nic Nat. He scored 115. So 283 from my rucks. But 330!!! Man, that is insane!! Good stuff.

Looks like I m gonna have to cough up 700K+ now to get Goldy. Such is life 😉

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 16:31

A dead heat!!!!! 172 SC points each. I think I have seen it all now. How good is that. Its kinda fitting, because I thought Gawn was as good as Goldy if not slightly better. I think 66 hit outs of which 35 were to advantage.

BigHaydos · 10/04/2016 at 16:15

probably the best game of footy I've seen in a long while. What a ripper!

hedski · 10/04/2016 at 16:15

330 odd from my two big fellas! Woo hoo

Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 16:26

1693 from 17 + C not bad considering I have Rocky Rich & B.Crouch on my bench

Have JJ, Adams, Libba, Danger & Selwood to come
Think 2150-2250 not bad

Luviboy1 · 10/04/2016 at 16:28

172 from Gawn with 7FA. Bloody hell.

    Steeeve · 10/04/2016 at 17:06

And to think after the first couple of rounds I was feeling smug about not taking him. Oh well, I'm still rapt with NicNat.
Goldy looking a great captain option next week if Sandi is out.

Youngy · 10/04/2016 at 16:33

Well I had Goldy as Capt…. But Rich Late OUT allowed me to take Ablett's Score and Brown's bench score of 31…..

Thanks Rich…..

Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 16:35

Looking at 2340 with a donut on rich so not too bad

    Derek · 10/04/2016 at 16:41

    why a donut? No E?

      Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 18:15

I didnt realise rich was out until my essendon rookies had alrdy played 🙁

        Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 22:55

There should always be an emergency named so not sure how that happened.

          Nicholas · 11/04/2016 at 00:20

I mean the essendon guys i had alrdy played so i couldnt put emergency on them

DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 16:50

Lol. Goldy didn't make his Breakeven

CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 17:00

JJ nowhere to be seen – I can't even spot him anywhere!

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 17:11

66 pts late in the 3rd

Many calling this game the true test for him
I think he is a premium defender if that's the case, will score 90+

      CoachDamo · 10/04/2016 at 17:20

Got his hands on it a few times after my post. Looking like he'll score 90 which isn't bad for a quietish game.

Cashcows · 10/04/2016 at 17:19

2250-2300 for par this week?

Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 17:29

Call this super Sunday! Now Danger is going absolutely massive. 83 SC points 8 minutes into the 2nd quarter ;-0

    magpie4ver · 10/04/2016 at 17:40

Kickin myself in the arse….he was my C and changed to Abs just before the game yesterday

      magpie4ver · 10/04/2016 at 17:42

Figures I C Danger last week and not this week and Danger is at 100 and not even HT yet? brutal

        Kev · 10/04/2016 at 18:06

Second pair of jeans ruined for the day…

Adrian · 10/04/2016 at 17:55

Mike · 10/04/2016 at 17:58

JJ 1 touch in the last quarter

    Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 18:01

Yeah and game finished now -1 pt to him too

Was looking to get a lazy 90

Anthony · 10/04/2016 at 18:01

I'm feeling my decision to go against the grain and have my starting ruck pair to be Jacobs and Martin has not worked.

The question is now, do I stick with them or make way for the beasts?

    Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 18:05

if this week has taught me anything, stick with your premiums, Shaw, Goldy and Gawn all gone huge this week

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 18:09

344 points feels real good Anthony 😉

    Kev · 10/04/2016 at 18:10

Stick with them. Goldy/Gawn/Heater/Barlow (kinda) rewarded patience this week after indifferent starts. Stick by your premiums

    Anthony · 10/04/2016 at 19:18

Yeah I think I will have to keep them.

It's not that they're scoring terribly, it's just that seeing Goldstein and Gawn go big and neither being in my team made me quite jealous 😀

    Holty · 10/04/2016 at 19:34

Jacobs yes but harsh on Martin. he is still averaging over 100 in 3 bad losses. Remember Gawn did have this monster game today but Martin outscored him first 2 weeks.

Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 18:05

2283 with another half from Danger

Libba and JJ cost me a 2400+ score with average 2nd halfs, still looking for mid 2300 which im pretty happy with

Vinny · 10/04/2016 at 18:08

Par score for this week?

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 18:12

I reckon around 2300 after today's big scores.

hedski · 10/04/2016 at 18:08

Righto SC GODS. I bloody put the C on gaz last night to teach the heathen non believer a lesson and now my first choice (danger) is on a ton at half time wtf? Giving the judas team a good touch up anyway @2400 with dangers second half to go.

    SD6_ · 10/04/2016 at 19:01

Taking Ablett's score was a percentage play, you should feel proud for not getting greedy.
For as many times you miss out on a bigger captain score, there are just as many where it backfires.

      hedski · 10/04/2016 at 19:26

      I had gray vc'd

        SD6_ · 10/04/2016 at 19:49

Oh right I misunderstood. I took gray's score as well

          hedski · 10/04/2016 at 19:53

I was greedy but not greedy enough (danger) ha ha 🙂

Derek · 10/04/2016 at 18:10

you just can't have everyone

Some big scores by some gun players

Northernsoul74 · 10/04/2016 at 18:40

Just back from the Doggies game. Gutted. How much money did the umpire have on the Hawks? Disgraceful. Even the Hawks fans near us were laughing at how bent the comp is.
Doesn't look good for Bob Murphy.

    magpie4ver · 10/04/2016 at 18:58

Unfortunately yes….but makes Adams and JJ more valuable.

      Davonaise · 10/04/2016 at 19:13

How much does Adams game remind you Rance, furthermore he is looking like a keeper till the bye's
      What a player!!!

        Derek · 10/04/2016 at 19:19

First time saw him. Very good player

        SCaddict · 10/04/2016 at 19:55

Yes good comparison I reckon. Looks like we may be able to lock him in at D6/F6 all season long.

    Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 20:18

I feel like the bullies were given far too many frees near goal and hawks nearly lost the game at the end from a stupid free

    Razor Ray · 10/04/2016 at 20:26

Go Hawks, Yeh damn umpires kicking all our goals and giving bulldogs more free kicks and they still cant win, yeeeeewww!

    qqt · 10/04/2016 at 20:28

Seriously? You kicked 5 goal directly from free kicks and you won the free kick count…what more do you want?

      Pete · 10/04/2016 at 22:30

Totally concur Dogs got robbed, the first quarter was disgraceful, all the Hawks goals came from the umpires in the 1st quarter.

Mind you I am a Swans supporter but it makes you wonder sometimes.

        Nicholas · 11/04/2016 at 00:21

        2 goals in first quarter…

Derek · 10/04/2016 at 19:05

Keays got another 31 touches in Seconds – best on ground.

Morabito played a whole game and had 23 touches

Petracca 28 touches, 2 goals

Freeman had 46 disposals by 3/4 time and sat out the last quarter

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 19:14

    Cheers Derek,

Great to see Morabito get through a feel game. The poor bugger has suffered for so long now. I still think he will struggle to break into the Freo side in the foreseeable future. The other three will play senior footy at any time. All gun rookies.

      Phil · 10/04/2016 at 20:13

I think Morabito will break into Freo's team….They are seriously lacking leg speed and he can give them that. It will be a good month at least at WAFL level but I reckon Ross would be itching to get him and Bennell into the team.

    Paulie Walnuts · 10/04/2016 at 20:11

Derek, Did you trade out Keays or Gresham ?

    Steeeve · 10/04/2016 at 21:06

And Jack Trengove played five minutes before going off injured.

    The Ranger · 10/04/2016 at 22:50

Freeman could be a very nice downgrade. Hope he plays a month of VFL first

DadSmasher · 10/04/2016 at 19:37

2381 Smitch as capt.
2nd sub 100 captains score in 3 rounds aarrgghh

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 19:50

2463 bald jeebers cap. Pretty happy atm

    BigHaydos · 10/04/2016 at 20:07

Yeah I plugged in at 2390 with grey as captain. Had goldy, Gawn, hall, Ablett, jelwood, my saving graces. Hopefully bump me up the ladder a little bit

Alex · 10/04/2016 at 19:48

2361 wouldn't have been able to do it without you community.

Holty · 10/04/2016 at 19:48

very happy Selwood has finally delivered. Now just waiting on bloody Smurf. Great first game but needs to deliver again soon

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 19:55

Very keen on jelwood holty. Him and danger not too many cats in mids?

      Holty · 10/04/2016 at 20:33

dont think it matters having both. I dont have danger at present. bringing him or fyfe in this week. Look at Sydney. if you had started all of Hannes Parker and Mitchell, you would be near the leaders. Now Kennedy starting to find the ball again, i wouldnt be surprised all 4 finish in the top 12 mids this season.

Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 20:00

2294 this week. Could have been so much better if I did not have that liability Trent Mc Kenzie in my side. Scored 4 points before he busted his f''ng nose. But I can't complain. My scores have been strong and consistent for the first 3 rounds. 2291, 2208, and 2294. Total point score of 6793. With a bit of luck, that should lift me into the top 3000 and keep me in touch with the leaders.

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 20:04

Bad luck on trent there tophawk shit luck.
After scaling I think I got 2475 so 6943 overall. Hoping to jump up a bit was 383 points behind leader last week.

      Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 20:22

That is a pretty good indicator for me. I am only 150 SC points behind you overall, so if I can sit around 500 points off the pace at this early stage I will be bloody happy for a second year Super coach. Just can't screw up tradingwise now. Still got 28 trades and I am "eyeing" Ruggles for a perfect downgrade from Spudnose Mc Kenzie after round 4.

        hedski · 10/04/2016 at 20:42

Yeah the rug looked good (go cats).
I started with him has been a useful loophole but stoked he'll make $ now.
        Spudnose ha ha.

          Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 21:02

I have Petracca as my loophole rookie in waiting. Hopefully he can come out like Ruggles did today and make a statement. When he finally gets selected that is.

I hope Trent's spudnose turns into a cauliflower. He really pi–ed me off this week.

            hedski · 10/04/2016 at 21:25

Got tracca in the wings too

Mick · 10/04/2016 at 20:01

2444 thanks for all the help community!!

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 20:07

Brilliant score! I am envious. The hardest thing to do in this game is to start well in the early rounds. Trade wisely moving forward!.

      Mick · 10/04/2016 at 21:56

I intend too, with a overall raking of 202 il be holding my trades and not chasing points until later in the year

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 22:47

Great score mate only 42 points behind the highest score for round 3 – Hope you can keep it up.

Nick · 10/04/2016 at 20:01

What's the communities thoughts on Sam gray? Hasn't done much the last 2 weeks and even in the first game on scored 100 from 37 touches.

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:41

Was never convinced by Sam Gray because half a season of good scoring isn't enough to be a proven gun, and he was fully priced at season start.

He had poor disposal efficiency vs the bombers and a lot of uncontested ball and still got 78, so hold for now he's hit a small bad patch and should bounce back.

    Leeds17 · 11/04/2016 at 06:05

Still like him as a pick more than Greene but got to say I'm a little uninspired, playing a little too much wing at the moment too, still worth hold for a few more games, will be tempting to downgrade him to Menzel Ne t week if Menzela has a big game.

Dean · 10/04/2016 at 20:02

I scored 2383 – I had Rich but had AMT as my Emergency thankfully. These three players Mills, Papley & Kennedy let me down.

Rocko · 10/04/2016 at 20:03

SC Addict really interested in seeing your lineup. Sounds similar to mine and its good to see another Bartel lover in the midst of supercoach.

Dean · 10/04/2016 at 20:04

Derek are you sticking fat with Lobbe mate or are you going to say CYA LATER son?

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 20:33

Surely Derek will move Lobbe on now. That bloke is absolutely useless. He may be the reason Port do not finish in the top 8 this year. (And that peptide Patrick Ryder has not helped Port's cause either)

      Derek · 10/04/2016 at 20:57

I was really hoping Goldy would have an off week against Gawn and become cheaper. Not going to happen soon.

I thought to get him after the played Gawn and Sandi and before Norths easy run.

        Derek · 10/04/2016 at 21:00

        No Sandi this week

        Poor Lobbe is against Mummy

          Holty · 10/04/2016 at 21:14

you must be keen to make a double trade derek to get rid of lobbe?

          Dean · 10/04/2016 at 21:18

Take it from me mate, Pi$$ Lobbe off and bring in Goldy, NicNat or Blicvas

The Ranger · 10/04/2016 at 20:04

Phew! 2303 despite all three of the Sydney rookies spudding up.
Feels like I got away with one.

JAYZ · 10/04/2016 at 20:05

PB of 2438 with rich and crouch out. Thanks to goldy and Gawn had 4 players score below 50…

Nicholas · 10/04/2016 at 20:16

2255 with a donut missed 71 points from amt 🙁

Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 20:20

2367 with Papley, Menadue, Mills, Kerridge and BenKen all letting me down

GawnStein was great combo this week

Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 20:30

2539 and not even the top score in my league… extremely arousing round of fantasy and football all round.

    hedski · 10/04/2016 at 20:44

    Massive marco nice work.
    Who was your cap?

      Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 21:07

Cheers mate, went Gaz over Gray. Pretty stoked considering Crouch was on bench, kennedy and Jack Riewoldt spudded it up.

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 21:11

Awesome score Marco, bloody hell what is your league ranked?

      Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 21:31

one of my leagues is 14 which is great, however this particular league is 756 or something, he just had all the right players this round and danger as captain.

    Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 21:37

    weew top 1000. STOKED!

      hedski · 10/04/2016 at 22:28

Same have snuck up to 927.
313 points off the lead which is a gain of 70 this week 🙂

        Marco_Polo94 · 11/04/2016 at 11:23

        nice mate keep it up

    Shinboner · 10/04/2016 at 21:38

Fantastic score, Marco! What was your round rank? Surely you're up there.

      Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 21:45

Cheers mate, 72.. lot of big scores!

        The Ranger · 10/04/2016 at 22:36

Wow! Good onya Marco, keep up the good work!

        Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:18

        Nice job.

Jexxa · 10/04/2016 at 20:35

2343 this week with bloody Kerridge, Mills, Paps, Ben Ken and my POD who hasnt proved himself yet in JMac (60). Also with LMcCarthy on the bench with a solid 96. Had B Crouch out on the bench aswell. So is that about par this week?
Total of 6909, is that around the top 1% or have I fallen down a bit?

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 21:10

If you were top 1% last week then you should remain in top 1% with a score of 2343 – I scored 2383 and hoping to move up the ranking.

Phil · 10/04/2016 at 20:45

Decided to wait a week and see Johannissen play against real opposition before bringing him in, but I think I'll give him a miss all together now. He's not that cheap anymore and I'm not convinced he will be top6 backs, better to wait a week and get Shaw or Rance

    Tophawk · 10/04/2016 at 20:54

I did exactly the same thing. I nearly traded JJ in for Barlow via dpp. So pleased I stuck fat and not pull that trigger. I already have Shaw and Laird. Instead of JJ, Bachar Houli or Rance may be next on my little hit list.

    Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 21:42

with Bob Murphy going down, i think that will only increase his output

they have Carlton, Melbourne and Brisbane in the next 5 weeks, coupled with Adelaide and North, i think his numbers will be back to his first 2 weeks

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:05

Plus the supercoach finals look fairly good for doggies.

      Rounds 19-22 is

    Dasha · 10/04/2016 at 22:04

    only went up 30K

    Leeds17 · 11/04/2016 at 06:09

Did the right thing waiting but I thought he had a decent game against the Hawks, not a good score but knocks out a 110 next week and it's all good, I wasn't discouraged by his performance

tuxCS · 10/04/2016 at 20:49

only 2227 this week, and 2 wins out of 10. Pretty disappointed but i do have 800k in the bank, so hopefully that gives me some reason for not scoring as highly, also had Crouch on the bench and was forced to use either Hewett or Menadue, picked Hewett but both choices wouldve been bad

Rosco · 10/04/2016 at 20:53

2401 with Hewitt's 19 in there (thanks Crouch) and taking Gray's 123 as loophole, which ended up being not so great a score in the end. Got Tippa's 71 for Rich. Overall pretty stocked. Won all league games after looking ominous in a few this morning. Thx Goldy, Gawn, Danger and Selwood. Onto next week.

fevolution · 10/04/2016 at 21:36

Robert murphy out, how does this impact JJ?

    Holty · 10/04/2016 at 23:44

good question. I would say badly. They had both running the ball out of the backline so with Murphy down, far more attention would be put into JJ. Im hoping anyway as i dont have him.

Iamme · 10/04/2016 at 21:37

2277 was enough to win 4 out of 10 leagues… I had 6 dud scores below 65

Shinboner · 10/04/2016 at 21:37

Finished with 2421, Gaz as captain. Overall rank of 385. Not happy that I had to burn a trade on Rocky but that's that.

    The Ranger · 10/04/2016 at 22:51

Top work Shinboner! Good to see so many of the Community going well.

sean · 10/04/2016 at 21:39

can someone chuck up the breakevens of the rookies?

    Shinboner · 10/04/2016 at 21:42

They should be up here by tomorrow:

    Mark · 10/04/2016 at 21:45

    Anyone with gold????

    Boltons Blues · 10/04/2016 at 21:47

some of the more popular ones

    Adams -99
    Weitering -27
    Dead -39
    Mills 19
    BenKen -3
    Papley -40
    Kerridge -44
    Menadue 19
    AMT -57

      do u know hewetts?

        Boltons blues · 10/04/2016 at 22:20

        29 for Hewitt

Marco_Polo94 · 10/04/2016 at 21:51

Feel absolutely gutted for Murphy.. could see it all on his face when he went down..

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 23:23

Yeah like swan could be his final game. Didn't look good. He knew.

Dasha · 10/04/2016 at 22:07

who woulda thought jarrod waite would be no. 1 supercoach player after 3 rounds

    judd0 · 10/04/2016 at 22:26

    Haha it's unbelievable isn't it!

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:22

There's always a couple of supercoach anomalies, to keep it going for a large part of the season is a different story.

Alex · 10/04/2016 at 22:09

Trade or Hold Nicky Roo?

Cheers Community

    dangerousfyfe · 10/04/2016 at 22:27

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 23:14

Trade him the guy is injured.

      Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:16

It's a concussion isn't it? He'll most likely miss next week though. Could hold if you have faith in the old warhorse.

dangerousfyfe · 10/04/2016 at 22:19

Thoughts on wines and pendles? Hold both? Wines looks good just needs to be cleaner, and Pendles not being played in midfield maybe partly due to his ribs. What trades is everyone looking at doing this week?

    FootyFanatic · 10/04/2016 at 22:33

Hold Pendles, you'll want him in your team towards the pointy end of the season. Also I'd give Wines a couple of weeks to prove himself before considering trading as he's not completely stinking it up.

    Hoot · 10/04/2016 at 22:39

scrappy 4th Q point for Pend to bring him up to 100, otherwise an avg game
    Wines just didn't impress.

    Have to be strong though.

    Hold both

Hoot · 10/04/2016 at 22:34

Took the advice of Patch and didn't trade Barlow for JJ..

Now ranked 135 overall with 28trades left

    Holty · 10/04/2016 at 23:06

great hold mate but id still be unloading Barlow asap as i have no faith he will continue playing midfield because of ross. I traded him this round and although scored well, far happier not seeing him in my side.

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 23:28

Yeah i offloaded barlow too. Went parker via DPP with kennedy. NO REGRETS. Nice not having to worry if he fired or not.

    Southern S · 10/04/2016 at 23:12

    Good move.

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 23:12

Nice scoring m8 keep it going.

Dean · 10/04/2016 at 23:11

How do you check who scored the highest points for that particular round? I can see the overall ranked players but not sure how to find each rounds highest score. Any idea?

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 23:38

    See comment below.

    2,639 – bowling Shane!

TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 23:19

Somehow managed to score over 2300 with paps, davis, mendaue on field and the rooks everyone else has having quieter days so will take that dodged a bullet thanks to the bearded one and the pussie cats bringing home the bacon in danger and dunc (manage to avoid getting koed this week) just like rd 1.

So with chad to come back in for paps, rocky trade to gray pretty happy with team.

See how longeran goes this week as purring up to half time until asked to be a tagger. If that happens again will probably trade to KK or JJ. Will have another look at both and make call as they should be around the same price.

    Dean · 10/04/2016 at 23:33

    Nice one TH.

Would you know how I can check what the highest score was for round 3 – I'm presuming it will be around 2600+

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 10/04/2016 at 23:36

Go into rankings select points rd 3.

Good call: 2,639. Nice work Shane!

Holty · 11/04/2016 at 00:20

big decision. 1 trade this week. I will trade out Steele and can select anyone. What are the communities thoughts.
I already have

    SCaddict · 11/04/2016 at 00:26

How about the Danger man? Two 160 plus scores already and the season has barely started!

Would make a sweet VC against the Dons next weekend. 🙂

    Liam · 11/04/2016 at 01:04

    Danger holty

    Adrian · 11/04/2016 at 01:47

    Jake · 11/04/2016 at 02:41

    Holty · 11/04/2016 at 09:04

    cheers all. much appreciated

Plugg4r · 11/04/2016 at 05:50

2317 with Rockliff and Crouch both on the bench, the question this week is what to do with Rockliff… If he plays will he pull his finger out, the curious case of Toby Greene also continues…

What to do community, what to do…

Csm · 11/04/2016 at 08:25

My captain hasn't score over 100 all three weeks + stuffed up loop with Gary this week and had to go Libba.

Jackkk · 11/04/2016 at 08:51

I have two trades in mind

I am thinking of trading Rockliff to Pendles/ JPK who have bottomed out in price, but with still high breakevens, I am considering to wait another week

The other trade is trading Mills to either Parish/ Oliver due to their scoring poteinal, Mills is only averaged 65 sc points this year, and i dont think it will go over 70. I reckon Oliver and Parish can average 75-80. Is it worth a trade????

    MaccasMarvels · 11/04/2016 at 10:01

Mills' breakeven is only 20 so you need to hold him now until his breakeven and average are around the same figure, then upgrade to a gun, or downgrade to an available rookie. Parish has now gone up to an awkward price so a Mills – Parish trade is a sideways trade of rookies and a no-no. Save that trade mate! Oliver is in the same boat.

Pendles isn't right and will drop $$$ further with his high breakeven, and with Rocky out for at least one more week, no need to hit the button on that trade yet. JPK is pretty cheap isn't he, but Parker and Hanners are getting lots of the midfield points. Dunno there.

Steve · 11/04/2016 at 09:00

Thoughts on AARON YOUNG????

has played two games and scored 97 and 101

He looks very good in the guts, hartlett coming back in may decrease his output.

Jason · 11/04/2016 at 09:33

Looking to swap rockliff to gray this week. HEld rocky for one week, but my gut tells me to move him on this week. Are there any other viable options to swap in for rockliff (besides gary, danger, pendles, hanners, libba etc)? Also, should brad crouch be moved on; I have money in the bank to afford and upgrade to ultra premo to further my midfield with the likes of a parker or such. Let me know what you think, cheers

    SCaddict · 11/04/2016 at 10:12

Plenty of viable options mate. Parker, Gray, Sitch, Titch, Pridda and Ward are all performing at a high level early this season just to name a few. I probably like either Gray or Parker most out of that crew but that's a personal preference as all those selections are all looking pretty awesome right now.

I traded Zaka in for Rocky last week but he's probably more a stepping stone so to have made that move worth it you really needed to jump on last week when he was $55K cheaper. The other guys above whilst most are also slightly more expensive now at least you can be well assured they are elite keepers. The two Zs, Zorko and Zerret are also worth considering too.

If Crouch misses again I'll most likely be trading him myself but will see what happens later in the week before committing to that call.

      Jason · 11/04/2016 at 10:28

Thanks for your response SCaddict. 🙂 I do indeed like the looks of parker and gray, with myself leaning towards parker. He is the more risky of the two, obviously in my own opinion, yet with the scores he's producing can you really turn him down. Only worry for me is that I also have hanners in my squad and bit nervous about the byes. I was going to go zaka, but like you said, I probably missed the opportunity when he was ripe. I think I will just stick with the first trade route this week, and save next week for brad crouch to see if his hamstring and scores hold out (which I secretly don't think they will which is unfortunate). Lastly, do you believe Zerret can keep his scores up especially as one of the few experienced players at essendon? And for zorko, I have picked him many supercoach seasons yet I'm not sold this year even though he is producing. I just can't see him holding out. Just my thoughts, cheers

        Jason · 11/04/2016 at 10:29

Also to further my point about the hanners parker bye round worry I also have mills running around in midfield (3 potential swannies for byes if mills is not offloaded by then)

          SCaddict · 11/04/2016 at 10:51

I'm not too concerned about the byes right now as they are still ages away and our teams will probably look reasonably different by time we get there after we cull the the first few waves of rookies and bring in new premos. However I also started with Hanners like you so got Gray in a few weeks ago just to give me a different VC/C team option, should I ever need it, even though I thought Parker presented slightly better value.

I'm not bending over backwards to get the two Zs into my own squad right now but we can't deny they are off to a flyer this season. So I can't blame any coach who may be looking to get onboard there.

Thought on this trade

Tom Rockliff up to Gary Ablett
Michael Barlow down to Lambert/Wright

    Anil · 11/04/2016 at 10:54

why get rid of barlow, looked decent for his 99

      Ethan017 · 11/04/2016 at 16:05

No Sandi for the next 6 weeks will shut down Fremantle
plus almost no midfield time on the weekend

JamiesNinjas13 · 11/04/2016 at 11:10

Anyone who watched the Hawks v Dogs match, how well did JJ go?

    Chill · 11/04/2016 at 11:21

Sandi out… how will this effect Barlow?

      Chill · 11/04/2016 at 11:23

Apologies Jamie was meant to post that on the main page. In response to your question – I thought JJ still looked good. Only had 1 touch in the last quarter I think but was on track for 90 otherwise. Not sure how Bob being out might effect him though. Ill be watching closely.

    Jake · 11/04/2016 at 11:25

Solid in first half, lots of handballs and backwards kicks though. He won't be under that sort of pressure each week.

Fell away a bit in the second, especially the last quarter, where he went -3.

Wouldn't be worried at all long term.

siri · 11/04/2016 at 11:22

Trent mckenzie out b smith in
B smith scored 90(s),80(s) and 107 last three weeks

    siri · 11/04/2016 at 11:53

    Thoughts community?

Jonathan Camac · 11/04/2016 at 11:37

I didn't take Robbie's 123, and was happy I didn't. Left it to Gaz who got me a nice 135. Was tempting to take Robbie's score though, must say.

Marco_Polo94 · 11/04/2016 at 11:45

Stat gurus out there in the community, what is the number used to multiply the average by to see projected price? Forgotten what i used last season when doing my trade plan

    @footy_bec · 11/04/2016 at 11:53

Who do you want to know about?

      Marco_Polo94 · 11/04/2016 at 11:57

      Everyone aha

    SCaddict · 11/04/2016 at 11:56

5,375 is the 'magic' number but just round it to 5,000 as it takes into account a bit of the overhead.

So say a rookie who averages 80 long term will eventually rise to approx $400K as a rough guide.

      Marco_Polo94 · 11/04/2016 at 11:57

      that's the one! Cheers addict

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 11/04/2016 at 12:11

5095 is what I am using and will get u fairly close.

tuxCS · 11/04/2016 at 12:16

Guys thoughts on zorko? I think he has the potential for top 5 forward and top 10 midfield this year. I wanted to have him from the start but I last second traded to Barlow because he wasn't playing Rd 1.

TRIGGER HAPPY · 11/04/2016 at 12:19

Slowed the moo.

What a bad week for our fwd and mid cows to have an off week. Will put the breaks on the moo for the next couple of weeks.

On the flip side the defender cows excelled so the mooing will kick it up a notch or two.
