Nic nat lobbe for me
Upgrade lobbe during the year

TJM · 07/02/2016 at 10:14

I have started with Goldy the whole season, but I'm starting to think about starting with either Nic Nat/Stefan Martin with Lobbe. I think Goldy should drop by about 100k and will look to upgrade Lobbe to him around the bye rounds. Thoughts? Or is Goldy a must to start with?

    hedski · 07/02/2016 at 10:34

    I’m thinking along same lines
stef and lobbe up to goldy

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 07/02/2016 at 15:14

Same I think that one will b a pretty popular selection.

    Titan · 07/02/2016 at 11:11

    Yeah my idea

    Jimi · 07/02/2016 at 11:31

I was starting with Goldy and Martin until yesterday. Dropped Goldy for Lobbe to see what that would look like. My team is so much better balanced now.

    Stirlsy · 07/02/2016 at 12:00

TJM, I think you would have to get Goldy in well before the byes roll around. They the byes are later this year starting in Rnd 13…

    Hawker_08 · 07/02/2016 at 13:29

Goldy 120 vs Lobbe 90. Losing 30 pts a week for 10 rounds and will have to use 3 maybe 2 trades to get him in.

      jack · 08/02/2016 at 14:30

youre neglecting the 30+ points he can potentially make with the money saved by downgrading to lobbe. It aint all black and white with this decision.

    LuskinStar · 07/02/2016 at 19:08

I think you either start with him or you go without him all year. Heres why. Dont think Goldy will drop by 100K (avg 110) before the byes but lets just assume he does. That makes him 595k. You wont be able to afford him with just Lobbe so youll need to also downgrade a rookie. Lets assume the rookie you trade in is 117300 i.e cheap. That means Lobbe and the rookie you trade out need to be worth (assuming you dont have cash) 722000. Thats a lot. In case you dont know, in his last 27 games Goldy scored less than 110 only 7 times.

WithAllDueRespect · 07/02/2016 at 10:17

Goldy and Lobbe for me.

michael · 07/02/2016 at 10:23

Anyone else interested in Leuenberger? As the number one ruck option for the bombers this year, and before he was hit with injury he racked up pretty good scores in 2011 and 2013, could be a good cash cow

    Chuck · 07/02/2016 at 10:29

Too risky for me with him and the rumoured Achilles niggles. If he pulls through and looks certain for Rd 1, I may entertain him.

    West · 07/02/2016 at 10:30

He's managing an achilles injury and pretty sure he still hasnt joined the main group. If he can stay fit he could be a good pick but hes got a big history of injuries

    Kev · 07/02/2016 at 10:58

Essendon also signed Jamar as a top up player. McKernon was used in ruck last year as well

    Jimi · 07/02/2016 at 14:36

Injured again this pre-season. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

      Denzel · 07/02/2016 at 16:08

I wouldn't sample him with YOUR pole Jimi

        Jimi · 07/02/2016 at 18:10

        Thanks?

    CroMagnon Man · 07/02/2016 at 18:33

    Fools gold.

Tom · 07/02/2016 at 10:26

Goldy and Martin are locked in for me.

I feel that Lobbe will average 90-100. He presents value but rather that extra 10-15 points every week

    Tom · 07/02/2016 at 12:19

Goldy is all but locked in as the number one ruck but I feel that, like heater in the backline, last year was all but a perfect year and he will drop back to the pack meaning that while he is by no means a bad pick he is not essential for all team structures.

Eagler · 07/02/2016 at 10:32

Martin and Lobbe for me. Possibly swap Nic Nat for Martin. Will be closely watching his nab games.

Lowrider · 07/02/2016 at 10:33

Going to take a punt on 3 guys who i think will add another $100k+ to their price – Grundy, Nicholls and Kreuzer. Will probably start with 2 of them. It’s a gamble but hopefully a calculated one and you need to be a little bit different sometimes.

Mac · 07/02/2016 at 10:34

Are Nic Nat's injury worries behind him?

    'Don't Blush Babby' · 07/02/2016 at 10:47

Word from West is that he's been training very well and injury free, I've got him my team ATM

    Titan · 07/02/2016 at 11:12

Hasn’t missed a beat for the first preseason ever

OldOcker · 07/02/2016 at 10:36

For some reason Supercoach seems to throw us very tempting options every year which keeps the game exciting.

The last 2 years I have been very lucky in choosing the best ruckmen in my initial line-up which is crucial for saving trades. and success in the season.

This year due to so much value in all positions I have opted to he reasonably cheap in the ruck department.

Zac Smith is a lock for me ATM

Good luck and SAJU to everyone out there, If you really wnt to diagnose for yoursed

if YOU

    Mac · 07/02/2016 at 10:46

Zac Smith? He won't get first shot at the ruck this season. I can see Stanley getting a go before Smith and Vardy will pinch hit in the ruck when Stanley needs a break.

      West · 07/02/2016 at 10:48

I'd rather Tom Nicholls. Should be number 1 ruck

        Scott · 07/02/2016 at 14:50

I'm keen on Nicholls he was injured last year, but 2 seasons ago was a high scorer and has the no.1 mantle this year. Could he be a stepping stone to Goldy?

        King of harts · 07/02/2016 at 16:40

Martin and lobbe at this stage due to some fiddling aroind. Lobbe is a lock but I’ve had the big kruze sitting there until very recently
If he stays on the park he could be top 4 rucks this yr with his mobility a huge asset
Stull probably end up with Martin

    jockreynolds · 07/02/2016 at 12:18

Verry interesting Ock! Love your eye for the point of difference

    Jackson · 07/02/2016 at 15:00

I like it too Ocker won't hurt having 2 elite clearance winning mids at his feet in Danger & Selwood just to pump that hit out to advantage stat up too.

      Mac · 07/02/2016 at 16:45

Is he going to play round 1 though? Stanley is the number 1 ruck at the moment down there and with Vardy playing, I don't see him in the side.

medadsson · 07/02/2016 at 10:56

Hmmm, no Hale, no Roughhead. McEvoy appealing. When he strung a few good ones together last year are there any Hawks supporters out there who can tell us in who's absence it was, if any?

    Tom · 07/02/2016 at 12:13

Not confident about his scoring potential but with hale gone and roughy injured for the first half of the year mcevoy and cegs will play every week. I see Fitzy as pure backup for injury but I think there is better value elsewhere

    Derek · 07/02/2016 at 13:25

Not a bad option. Last year GF he started in the goal square. Roughie to miss half the year, he will ‘rest’ up forward as the tall option to allow Gunston the second tall defender.

However, Hawks were 17th in hit outs to advantage last year (and they still won)

      medadsson · 08/02/2016 at 17:36

Cheers Tom and Derek, may take the punt!

    @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 22:46

Cegs played first 2/3's hale played last 2/3rd and McEvoy missed mid 2/3rd. I think you'll see Cegs play more like Hale (forward swing into ruck), with Big boy going round the ground, then resting forward. Big boy also did a reasonable job in defense when required.

Kev · 07/02/2016 at 11:01

Goldy and Lobbe for me. Interested in NicNat bit can’t find the coin

Krups · 07/02/2016 at 11:15

Martin and Lobbe for me. Question though is anyon running a back up ruckman in the R3 spot like Jarmar or Grimley or Currie?

    hedski · 07/02/2016 at 12:02

Not at the minute. Got bird f4 will watch him during nab interested to see how sinclair goes might slot him in there as ruck back up with rookie swingman r3

    Stirlsy · 07/02/2016 at 12:46

Yeah Krups, im running 3 ruckmen but the R3 spot Wyatt will fill that up for the season. Starting with Jacobs & Lobbe and Sinclair sitting in the FWD line for back up.
My thinking was Sinclair would get at least 70% of the ruck duties and score well, but the Swans like to do things different and last year their rucks shared it 50/50 with Tippet having a good back half to the year, so I might have to re think the 3rd ruck and I don't think the NAB games will shine a light on it because its the Swans we are talking about.

Wollee · 07/02/2016 at 11:56

Nicnat and blicavas

gregson · 07/02/2016 at 12:06

wines cripps or adams

    Patch · 07/02/2016 at 15:28

Stay tuned to the site – I've got something cooking to answer that question Gregson. I have two of those players in my side and neither play for Carlton

@emhoy · 07/02/2016 at 12:09

I am starting with Goldy and most likely nit nat. To me Goldy is a lock and effectively another mid, he scored 221 on essenDOM last year imagine what he might score this year 300 is on the cards 🙂

    @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 22:51

Jimmy will not be there to put a school boy up against him…unlucky for Goldy buyers this year….

Bailey · 07/02/2016 at 12:13

Martin or nic nat for R1 Lobbe R2

jockreynolds · 07/02/2016 at 12:17

39% with Goldmember at this stage. Very interesting – gotta say I expected that to be up around 55%. I'm struggling with this one folks. On the one hand there's the security and undeniable point generation capacity you have with Goldy. On the other there's that bloody price.. and the cold hard fact that his price WILL drop. Not in my team at this stage by a bees glans.

    West · 07/02/2016 at 12:33

If he keeps pumping out big scores maybe his price wont drop too much?

    Tom · 07/02/2016 at 12:41

I can’t see him outscoring both Martin/Jacobs by more than 5 pts again and so if it allows you to turn a 400k player into a Wines then it seems worth it but if I am just spending that cash on an expensive rookie then I want Goldie’s security

    Top Hawk · 07/02/2016 at 12:51

I agree Jock. I had Goldy, but a $695K spend is just too high. As he will likely drop 80-100K I will get him a little later. Nic Nat has been training the house down and at 540K looks very tempting. I will go with him at this stage. The cash generated will allow me to beef up the midfield and forward line.

    Stirlsy · 07/02/2016 at 12:57

Goldie's price will drop by 100k he's BE will be super high and if he has an avg game for him of 100 the price will start to drop, ill be looking to get him in between Rnds 8 to 10

      Kev · 07/02/2016 at 13:07

Love the dense debate about Goldy! A 100k price drop still puts him at 595k, a plan to upgrade someone like NicNat is a good one, but he’ll have to be flying as well. There is always a bigger problem you need precious trades for.

        Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 15:08

Won't be starting Goldy, his average will drop and even last year his start to season wasn't spectacular, still solid option but too pricy

    Adam · 10/02/2016 at 12:52

Must say gents I was originally on the goldy’s too expensive bandwagon however I noted one key change from F15. Hit outs to adv has increased from 4.5 points to 5 pts per hit out & we know who the hit out to adv King is.
Goldy & Lobbe for mine with the view to upgrade Lobbe to Martin or Nic Nat during the season. Nic Nat has never been a strong starter if my memory serves me correct

Grahame Lebroy · 07/02/2016 at 12:22

Is Blicavs a good option to start as Ruck 1? Great tank, won the cats B/F last yr. Or cause he isn’t a tap to advantage type ruckmen, would that make him a waste?

    Top Hawk · 07/02/2016 at 12:56

A bit risky for mine. His midfield possession output might be tested in 2016
with the arrival of the one and only Patrick Dangerfield.

    Jimi · 07/02/2016 at 12:57

Taps to advantage might be irrelevant. Scott is on record saying Blicavs won't play ruck this year instead playing a utility role in midfield, wing and half back.

    Dan · 07/02/2016 at 13:28

Most of his taps t0oadvantage were from 3rd man up situations anyway so wouldnt worry too much about him not rucking FT, good intercept mark when down back and tackles & wins contested ball when in the middle,

    Kahly · 07/02/2016 at 13:54

    "Gray-hemy Lebroy"???

      Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 15:06

Think there are just better options then blicavs, no doubt his a talent but just unsure about him and his role.

      Grahame Lebroy · 08/02/2016 at 09:27

Well Kahly all his team mates have got long and complicated names , seems a pity for him to miss out. So I think I will go on calling him Grahame

Liam · 07/02/2016 at 12:40

Martin and Lobbe for me

Top Hawk · 07/02/2016 at 12:46

Comments on my current side please.

def: Gibson, B. Smith, Bartel, Kolododashnji, M. Brown (WCE), Hartley (Skinner, Bonner)

mid: Ablett, Dangerfield, Sloane, Rockliff, Liberatore, O'Meara, Gresham, S.Kerridge (Mathieson, M.Hibberd, Sumner)

ruc: Naitanui, Lobbe (Wyatt)

for: D.Martin, Dahlhaus, Barlow, Franklin, C.Bird, B.Kennedy (M.Brown-Ess, Petracca)

I have run the team through the Higginator. Not too bad. Number of outs fairly balanced being: 10-12-8

Cheers

    Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 15:03

    Def:
Like the structure and love the gibson pick as a pod. I personally can't pick Bartel, may average around 85 but will miss the odd game, particulary against teams down the bottom.

    Mid:
May have to reconsider O'Meara, at this stage unlkely for rd 1, like the combo of sloane, rocky and libba all are underpriced. There are unknowns with Danger but i thinks he and selwood will help each other out .

    Ruck:
Lobbe yep very common r2, Im staying away from Nicnat due to wcs start to the season and i prefer stefan, although this could be the year nicnat finally brings his game together and takes control of the compitition.

    Fwd:
Strong Fwd Line, nothing really wrong here, buddy is underpriced, barlow will be back in the middle this year. Watch Kennedys role in the nab, not sure the scoring potential is there, may be cheaper and better options.

      Top Hawk · 07/02/2016 at 17:18

Cheers mate. Will keep an eye on O'Meara and the form of all the rookies during NAB cup. As always, there will be changes to the side before round 1.

        @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 23:04

Sorry Top Hawk. No gibbo for me. I had him last year expecting him to run free with lake at home. Didn't happen much. Hawks just to unpredictable with loose man in defense. Silk. Stratts. Birch. Hodge. + more. Although with Lake replacement more locked in Def it could happen a bit more. Suggest that you avoid trying to pick which one. Although returning knee injured player did well there as younger chap. Not much upside here which is what I'm looking for at this time of year.

jimmydowland · 07/02/2016 at 13:23

Goldy & Lobbe , thoughts jock?

    Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 14:55

Very common ruck duo, i rather stef to goldy but that just personnal preference

Derek · 07/02/2016 at 13:38

I don’t have Goldy, hoping his price may drop.

Have a look at Norths first 4 games.

Goldy is up against Jacobs, Martin & Sadi in the first 4 games, but….,,,,

Games 5 to 9, suns, dogs, Saints, Essendon & Carlton.

How much will he drop in the first 4?

    Stirlsy · 07/02/2016 at 14:13

Getting him in that early will cost you a low fat cow maybe 2.
As for how much he drop's would have to go back and look at scores last 2 years against those players.

      Derek · 07/02/2016 at 14:35

I was thinking NicNat, but I just looked at WCE first 7 games. Ouch!

Bris, Hawks, freo, Richmond, swans, pies, cats.

Swans and Collingwood have best start, but I would have any of their rucks.

        Derek · 07/02/2016 at 14:35

        Wouldn’t

          Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 14:53

I'm gonna be watching Sinclair in Nab, see how he and tippet work together, Im gonna be starting Stef at R1, goldy will still prob ave 105-110 over first month. Drop to between 635-645k with an average like that.

        TRIGGER HAPPY · 07/02/2016 at 15:24

Brissy have a gr8 start. I’m starting Martin.

      Derek · 07/02/2016 at 20:35

There might be a sideways trade from NicNat to Goldy

    David · 07/02/2016 at 16:55

good point…..Goldy has always been Sandilands' bitch….very low scores against Freo

Kahly · 07/02/2016 at 13:44

Any love for Big Mummy? not much talk around him. I'm going with Mummy/Sauce and Lobbe

    Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 14:50

I love the Big Mummy, but he is an injury waiting to happen. His scoring potential is there but can't be wasting trades in the ruck.

    I N Pieman · 07/02/2016 at 14:58

If he was durable he’d be just about first picked. But he isn’t in the slightest

    @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 23:10

No. Sauce is a straight better pick. The only argument you could mount against this is that Danger has gone so hit out to adv might be down a bit. Both are great when not playing v Sandilands. It those weeks you wish you bought goldy. But goldy, or buy a plan for goldy, that's R1 done. R2, well maybe, but that is not your question.

M-Town Ballers · 07/02/2016 at 13:52

Tossing between starting Martin or nik nat
But I think if lobbe rucks solo is worth the risk at R2
Prob floating donut for R3. I like the way big cox swings.. lol

    Derek · 07/02/2016 at 14:36

Is J Holmes playing this year

      Barwick's Soilders · 07/02/2016 at 14:47

Gotta Go Stefan, his a monster and will improve his average from last year, Lobbe looks a lock for R2.

Don't think holmes will start season, If Longer and Hickey are both fit they will in front of holmes

        Derek · 07/02/2016 at 14:49

I just like have J Holmes in my team 😉

Corey · 07/02/2016 at 14:03

Goldy and Lobbe for me.

On another note, if anyone want to join draft league:

407433 Feel free to join

CarlaShirley · 07/02/2016 at 14:13

Goldy may not even be n.o1 ruck this year how about that for thought so at his price I will say no thank you.
3 Rucks I could accept is Martin, Jacobs and NicNat with Lobbe n.o 2 ruck and hope he can increase by $100k
Mummy scares me too much and Gawn is a huge question mark because of little history to back him up.

After these boys there ain't much else to talk about.

Currently my rucks look like this ?? Bench ? Waiting on NAB and looking for NicNat to be involved in his games more and how Lobbe goes/looks as n.o1 ruck again

NutSack · 07/02/2016 at 14:18

Sorry- but WHY even bother making a poll when you know most people are interested in Lobbe yet you leave him out??? Same with Chris Yarran in the DEF poll?? Awesome site but!!!!

    CarlaShirley · 07/02/2016 at 14:22

Don't have to pick 2 mate I know I am using Lobbe more or less so I picked one on poll

Jackwatt$ · 07/02/2016 at 15:11

I can not believe a thread about ruckman and nobody has mentioned the greatest value pick available in this position yet??!! Its mindboggling……

I'll will reveal who it is in the next hour, just to make ya'll stew on it for a bit and also so I can reply to my own comment so it looks like there's a lot of replies, even though it's just me doubling up like Ablett handballing to a stationary teammate and running past him.

    Gaveday · 07/02/2016 at 15:31

If you mention hickey or longer I’ll slap you.

      I N Pieman · 07/02/2016 at 15:58

      I second that

    Jackwatt$ · 07/02/2016 at 16:27

Leunenberger is shot, he can't even run yet.
McKernan can't ruck (just ask Goldy)
Grimley can't ruck (just ask any Hawthorn supporter with half a brain- narrows it down to 1%)
That only leaves The Big Russian!!! At 220k he is bound to average 80+
Only way he won't be named Round 1 is if somehow Berger learns to run again, in which case you start Berger. If he somehow doesn't get injured, good, if he does you trade down to the Russian and pocket the money. Win/win.

      West · 07/02/2016 at 16:36

      Jamar is 320K.

      Mac · 07/02/2016 at 16:53

Jackwatt$ i'm questioning how good you are at sc. Selecting Jamar is a no, and you say you select Jack Watts in your team every year? Not a fan, but if it works for you, I'll be the first to congratulate you…

        Jackwatt$ · 07/02/2016 at 17:06

Thanks Mac I appreciate that you'll be the first one to thank me then. FWIW I think my SC numbers speaks for itself as I've finished in the top 50% the last 2 years running!

          Gaveday · 07/02/2016 at 19:23

Leiu maybe be fit March 25 or whatever date Rd 1 is. Chickens haven’t hatched.

Old Woman At Counter · 07/02/2016 at 21:47

You mean you came inside the top 110,000 players? Mate…. Most people here are in the top 500.

          HOLLA · 07/02/2016 at 22:52

          Youre the best!

Gaveday · 07/02/2016 at 15:19

Sinclair, lobbe as r1 and r2 and ATM Trent West on the bench. But that could change depending on carltons ruck combo and GC combo. (Gorringe,Phillips, brooksby, currie etc…)

    Goldylock · 07/02/2016 at 16:34

We could have a few ruck rookie options for a change this year including West!

MC · 07/02/2016 at 16:06

Concerning that Goldy is only at 38% rather than 100%

mick · 07/02/2016 at 16:27

goldy and lobbe 4 me people who wait on goldy might save 100,ooo but if he scores 140 110 100 140 100 id rather those scores and upgrade elsewhere and save a trade

    Derek · 07/02/2016 at 18:33

He won’t with the first 4 tough games. After that I must have him

      Liam · 07/02/2016 at 20:15

how are you going to get him in ?
Going have to burn some cash cows early

        holty · 08/02/2016 at 11:18

agree liam. say he drops to 600k, where will that money come from? u would have to trade another premium to get him. wasted trade in my opinion

savery1967 · 07/02/2016 at 16:35

Can you please re-do the poll down to $389500 to include Lobbe.

King of harts · 07/02/2016 at 16:42

Martin and lobbe at this stage due to some fiddling aroind. Lobbe is a lock but I’ve had the big kruze sitting there until very recently
If he stays on the park he could be top 4 rucks this yr with his mobility a huge asset
Stull probably end up with Martin

Mac · 07/02/2016 at 16:55

I see a lot of teams with Bartel in them, am I the only one really worried about selecting him? You know what Geelong are like, rest the older players when playing the weaker teams. He's a great player don't get me wrong, but is it too much of a risk to pick him?

Also whats peoples thoughts on McGovern?

    hedski · 07/02/2016 at 17:50

I’m with you on jimmy mac. Love the guy but tooth length and rests scare me. Go cats

    Kev · 07/02/2016 at 17:59

Games per season for Bartel since 2005: 22, 21, 20, 22, 21, 21, 21, 19, 21, 21, 11. Has averaged under 100 3 times; 96 in 2005, 98 in 2012, and 87 last year. Super reliable and imo Geelong won’t be looking at resting players after missing the finals last year.

I like McGovern. His scores at the back end of last year where played on one leg, so don’t read too much into them. On my watch list

      Mac · 07/02/2016 at 18:01

His numbers are incredible, but after watching him last year, dare I say this, he looked slow and a little timid. I love the man but I'm a little weary of his age now. That's why I'm keen to see the NAB cup to see how he goes.

Thoughts on Easton Wood

    Josh · 07/02/2016 at 19:33

He's a nice bloke, the sort of guy you'd want to have a few drinks with

LuskinStar · 07/02/2016 at 17:19

Thoughts on this team?

    Mac · 07/02/2016 at 18:20

4 premo mids, maybe according to some people thats a little light on, but with 2 premo rucks and Libba and Crouch, its not that big of a deal. It looks like a nicely balanced team

Gaveday · 07/02/2016 at 18:30

Remember the old “no Goddard” winner? The bloke a few seasons back who won SuperCoach and opted not to get the most expensive player in the league (at the time obv)….

No Goldstein for me. Too expensive.

    Derek · 07/02/2016 at 18:47

I was reading the JR magazine article on shark moves, dig it out everyone, gold

      Gaveday · 07/02/2016 at 19:24

Not familiar. What’s a shark move? Waiting for a premium to drop?

        Derek · 07/02/2016 at 20:30

The Shark move is doing something the everyone else doesn't. You can swim with the shoal or be a shark.

The article looks at the past winners and discusses the moments that won them the title. Every winner has done something that was different to the norm. You'll have to dig up the magazine.

There is also a great article on the Mamoth curve, must read

CroMagnon Man · 07/02/2016 at 18:35

Can’t believe the amount of people running the “I’ll pick Goldy when his price drops” line. Hard draw eh? Pretty sure he rucked against every single team last year, and kicked ass! Anyhow…

    Derek · 07/02/2016 at 19:00

You have to admit he is overpriced. I admit he is a must have, but the cash saved will earn more points elsewhere.

His price won’t go up, can get him later.

      Liam · 07/02/2016 at 20:14

Was thinking the same Derek but I now think that Goldy is a must.
Goldy does have a tough start but after that it really opens up, you don't want to miss out on some big scores.
Don't forget other ruck premos will drop in price as well.

      CroMagnon Man · 08/02/2016 at 17:12

No, he is correctly priced. Divide his value by 5397 (magic number) and bang… he is priced correctly. There is math behind all of this fantasy football biz.

    Stirlsy · 08/02/2016 at 04:19

It only takes 1 bad game or an injury in a game early to any player for the price to dive large.
Derek iv been reading yr comments The only way I see of getting him in by Rnd4 is by selling 2 rookies or 1 premo rookie with Lobbe or as you mentioned a sideways trade Nic Nat and a rookie.
Ant one of the above will cost a min of 2 trades very early and selling a rookie or rookies way before their use by date, and on top of that you have to hope there is a rookie that has started a little later then the Rnd 1 rookies.
Good luck with all that, I wish you well.

      CroMagnon Man · 08/02/2016 at 17:19

How bad a game would he have to have to have a 'dramatic' price change? I would say very bad, like 10 points, which isn't going to happen, unless he got a serious injury, and then, is that when all the 'Nostradamus/Da Vinci' genius crew would advocate buying him?

      @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 23:25

Don't spend full cap. That is only real way to do it pre-about-rnd7…..

Liam · 07/02/2016 at 19:13

Had stef and Lobbe locked in, but now thinking Goldy.
Goldy's does have a tough start, but after that he will have an easy run and I don't want to miss out on those points.
Don't forget players like Stef, Nic nat, Jacobs with drop as well.

Shaneo · 07/02/2016 at 19:13

Goldy and Jacobs …. Set and forget

neil · 07/02/2016 at 19:55

the two Collins and brown are kpp what does that mean thanks neil

    Iamme · 07/02/2016 at 21:53

    Key Position Players?

Patch · 07/02/2016 at 19:57

I've just done an iteration of my team without Goldmember – still with two 500K set and forget options – and it dramatically changes the game. Phwoar this will be something to grapple with right up to lockout.

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 07/02/2016 at 21:14

What version you up to patch? I’ve lost count and nab hasn’t started yet! Lots of more More water to go under the bridge

      Stirlsy · 08/02/2016 at 05:16

Version 11 for me, there will be a version 12 but that should be the team that starts round 1

josh · 07/02/2016 at 20:12

jacobs and sandi for me

Derek · 07/02/2016 at 20:32

At the end of last year I pencilled in Thumpers brother. I was surprised he is $360k.

    hedski · 08/02/2016 at 00:15

Thats nuts thought he mighta been a $270 smokey

neil · 07/02/2016 at 22:07

thanks iamme should have known neil

Swans2012 · 08/02/2016 at 07:41

Cannot consider goldy at that price, full priced on his best season, last 5 years of averages 113, 96, 103, 113, 128. I’ll wait to see how the year pans out but entirely possible he’ll come back to the pack. I’m going light in the ruck, 2 of Sinclair lobbe and luenberger pending nab, if 2 of the 3 don’t perform I’ll consider blic or Nic nat. Can’t wait for a bit of preseason nab/practice form to start filtering through…

    Gaveday · 08/02/2016 at 14:31

Feel exactly the same. After much thought I’m Sinclair lobbe and might even get leui in the fwd line.

      CroMagnon Man · 08/02/2016 at 19:00

.Wait, you just took the worst plan ever and made it next level bad. Kudos.

    CroMagnon Man · 08/02/2016 at 18:58

    Worst plan ever.

    @randomcliche · 16/02/2016 at 23:30

Stuff Leuy. Get Kruz/Nic Nat. Your points balance will thank you for it.

holty · 08/02/2016 at 11:08

goldy and martin. Both durable and locking them in. think they will be both top 2 maybe 3. went mumford and the bellchambers last year and hoped for upgrade later. everyone will want goldy in at some point but as most found, if you didnt have him early, your season was stuffed for overall glory and found it very tough to get him in because he didnt drop in value.
