Chic…Uh Lekdog’s Check In?

Published by Lekdog on

LekdogJock and the crew have sent Chicko on a fact finding mission to America, there he will meet up with community member Throttlefinger and together they will meet up with infamous baseball statistician Bill James and crack Supercoach forever…

During the bye rounds we get 3 trades, this round we get 2 trades. That’s a total of 5 trades available pre-round 12, anyone we trade in from here WILL miss at least one week.
I will be making one trade before round 11 finishes (The Quad Wines IN this week) and then 3 before round 12. I will not be trading during round 11 however…

Here’s this weeks question:

How many trades do you plan on making before round 11 ends?

Rocky has a round 11 bye …. Keep him until round 12 ??? May even be back after there bye? Round 12 is the nasty one for me

    Jambo · 01/06/2015 at 14:23

Yes. I reckon he will be back in round twelve. Even after breaking three ribs, he scored 103.

      Tophawk · 01/06/2015 at 20:12

I agree. And hopefully, this time he will wear a protective brace to protect his ribs! I will keep him.

    THE SALTSHAKER · 02/06/2015 at 17:12

At $450k he is a def hold but yes does make rnd 12 even worse

    carpark reporter · 03/06/2015 at 19:06

ahhh sorry but rcoky is out for 6 weeks….. there is no way he will be back in 3 or 4 weeks….. he will be out for 6-8 weeks and if his doctor let him come back any earlier than that then he should loose his license and get sued for mal practise.

You are smoking more than the peace pipe if you think Rocky will be back in under 6.

And why you traded in the glass cannon is the first question you should ask yourself. Rocky is always injured or missing parts of games and getting knocked out.

r2d2 · 01/06/2015 at 13:17

Short check in Lek haha, but words of wisdom there for sure

Digga · 01/06/2015 at 13:26

Downgraded Oxley and upgraded krakouer to selwood, then next week cripps down which will leave me with 680k. Are these smart trades or should i hold off?

    Matt · 01/06/2015 at 14:18

hold off on oxley until round 12, will be needed for points despite dropping about 50k

      finsharkey · 01/06/2015 at 15:01

Not sure why you concede that much cash…

      Sarah · 01/06/2015 at 15:45

You need to understand Oxley's purpose in our teams… it's to make cash then make way. Dropping $50k is unacceptable, he has to go now. It's too much of a risk that he won't hit his BE.

      Dann · 01/06/2015 at 17:59

A decent score from him will see him hold his price, when he scored 31 he scored 116 the next week when he scored 47 he scored 148 the next week.

    Dean · 01/06/2015 at 15:48

Digga having $680k in your war chest equates to having less premiums in your team which is just absurd, I think anything over 300k is overkill and your ranking will only suffer.

It's vital to remember 3 trades can be made each bye round, why not downgrade Oxley to Hamling providing he is playing obviously which im sure he will be, in.round 12 that is when he will be on the bubble.

If you see Hamling listed to play this week and hypothetically speaking he goes out there and gets injured then its a massive waist of a trade, plus you get the added bonus of another free look at someone like hamling, in fact it couldn't be scripted any better for us. Not to mention you will then have Oxley playing for you in round 11 and scoring you points.
However that being said, IF Oxley is the SUB this week then fair enough trade Oxley in early because he will drop quite allot in price if he ends up being the SUB.

    Hope that helps.

      Ethan · 01/06/2015 at 19:39

i cant help it but *waste. Even if oxley has another poor score we only have to deal with it for another week before his bye. The only reason to trade him out would be if your round 11 bye is extremely friendly for you. Some may say that bye bringing in a player with the same bye round works but that means you have one less player in round 12 rather than trading him out in round 12

        Sarah · 02/06/2015 at 08:51

I completely disagree on holding onto Oxley. He's only in the team to make money and the risk is high that he will lose significant cash over the next two weeks. The time to cash him in is now to bank the cash he's made. He's been subbed out 3 times this year, why take the risk?

        Hendo · 03/06/2015 at 07:47

        Jack · 03/06/2015 at 19:57

If you’re going to be that guy, you’d want to get it right.

    Hugo · 02/06/2015 at 16:41

Smart trades. Who for oxley may I ask

      Digga · 02/06/2015 at 17:10

I'm going to trade Oxley for brooksby by moving goddard to defense and read to the foward

I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 13:27

I’m not sure I agree with holds your trades to the byes. I havnt been. Trade with the byes in mind for sure. But the name of the game is to get to full premo asap. Trade ass off

    Nuggety · 01/06/2015 at 13:54

I’m with you INP. Gotta pick up the right cows when they present not when it’s convenient for us. Same with fallen premos available at great value prices. Same deal again with jumping off cows who are gonna lose cash..Bang bang and suck it up during rounds 11 to 13.

      I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 14:04

Absolutely nuggety. I think it’s a good week to wave the Ox goodbye. Starting to go backwards, has been subbed 3 times & has the round 12 bye. Given he won’t be in teams in a few weeks we should get rid of him now before he looses too much value. Plenty of fallen premo defenders to send him up to.

        Nuggety · 01/06/2015 at 14:17

Still not too sure about upgrading in defense so fickle this year. I’m thinking about swinging dmac into def for ox. Lever and Kmac both doing enough for now and still have money to make. Then ox down to Dumont and Krak in the mids up to wines, Lewis or heppell, all good value. Keen to sure up the mids if we have to sit Rocky on the pine for a while. Thoughts?

        @t_woof · 01/06/2015 at 16:40

Agree INP, time for Ox to go. He's been good, done his job.

And oh…'s going to be sooooooooo good……BYE BYE GASSY CHAMBERS, get out of my team!!!!

    Enrage! · 01/06/2015 at 14:03

Agree Pieman, I’m trying to get full premo ASAP, so all my trades have been upgrades or a rookie cull to fund an upgrade – only made one sideways / non positive trade and that was downgrading newnes.

So it is that bad that I only have 15 trades this week, with only 3 non premos left.

Assuming I paint the fence to replace those three I will have full premo (and hopefully win more games in my league, and increase overall rank).. With another 9 spare trades left for the second half of the season for injuries and any sideways trade.

      I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 14:12

G’day enrage. If you can make it to full premo (with the premos you really want) with 8 trades left then that’s a great result. How long should it take to do it? The answer is as quick as possible. I’ve had some LTI ‘s to deal with. 4 of them unfortunately which has slowed progress. Turning my attention to defence now. Part from
That only 2 vacant spots to fill.

    Sarah · 01/06/2015 at 15:46

Agree 100%! I've been trading my ass off since the start!!

    Locked and Loaded · 01/06/2015 at 17:00

Spot on INP defs agree. Need to have enough trades for injuries and tactical trades come finals. Make top 4 in leagues and you'll need 6 trades hopefully

    Skindog · 01/06/2015 at 17:26

I agree Pieman, ive traded because ive had to, im short on trades compared to where I want to be,, crap year this year bring on 2016!!!!

    chevvy · 01/06/2015 at 19:12

I havent structured my team around the byes like others have, im currently ranked 676. So im hoping not to fall too much in the bye rounds…

      Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 12:46

I hear you, I’ve been reading ass off to claw my way to 251 overall, this week the first one im seriously looking at the byes, think I should be ok ish…… Round 13 looking a bit shaky but might even do a bit of sideways then to keep up if need be. I’m trading rocky, no space for freeloaders during the byes…..

    hedski · 01/06/2015 at 21:42

Yeah ive had itchy finger but after gaz bartel good luck wit injury and stacked rookies. Round 11 I’ll be offloading rich and cey can absord the donuts after that but facing 3 if not. Can hold trades till byes done then. Mayb dmac t hamling rnd 12.

      hedski · 01/06/2015 at 21:44

Sry forgot to mention rocky in last week. Bench.

Cozza · 01/06/2015 at 13:33

Can anyone explain why we would do 3 trades leading into the round bye? I know the thought is to cull the cash cows, but you will only be trading someone in who will be missing a game during one of the bye weeks. Isn't a better strategy to hold trades in round 11, and then do 3 trades before round 12 and 13 to cull those cash cows who are about to have their byes and upgrade to premos who have also had their bye? Can't see the logic in trading prior to round 11

    Derek · 01/06/2015 at 14:26

So you can go Bang Bang Bang, three premiums who had There byes in round 11.

If there isn’t 3 premium round 11 players, you don’t.

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:12

So before round 11 you cull the cash cows and stockpile cash, then after round 11 you trade in round 11 premiums as they have already had their bye

The Ranger · 01/06/2015 at 13:55

5 bloody trades is what I"ll be doing.
Been holding off and holding off and saving trades and not going too early and all that crap and it's got me bloody nowhere!
Time to make some moves!

    I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 14:16

I’m hoping your bro Sloane ranger is back this week. Listed as a test. Would seriously help with the rocky problem. Trade ranger. Having onfield rookies is a roller coaster. Clarke & Ox great examples. Killed me this week

      The Ranger · 01/06/2015 at 16:15

Mummy, Pendles, Selwood, Griffen, Parker, JPK, Rich, Simpson.
Not one broke the ton. 593pts between them.
It's not just the rooks that are killing me!

        Kebab. · 01/06/2015 at 17:02

Too many high BE’s this week, basically a must to cull some cows!

      beezneez · 02/06/2015 at 12:00

Sloane is going to be cheaper after he's played his first game back so if he's back this week (possible but unlikely) I'm going to trade him in round 12 after Adelaide's bye or after his next game back. Also, waiting a week will give a chance to assess his form after fracturing his cheekbone. Win/Win.

        The Ranger · 02/06/2015 at 12:23

Yep, Wines this week and Sloane the week after his bye.
Been rage trading for the past 24hrs. It's pointless and exhausting but makes me feel better.

adam · 01/06/2015 at 13:56

thoughts on clark to dahlhaus, miller to boston?
getting him this week because getting hamling next

    Luke · 01/06/2015 at 14:26

i like the sound of that clark to dahlhaus trade, but i would wait until round 12 because dahlhaus has round 11 bye

      Potato · 02/06/2015 at 11:12

i think its a disgusting trade

    judd0 · 02/06/2015 at 17:47

After rnd 11 its a good trade.

dean · 01/06/2015 at 14:02

What is everyones opinions on Mitch Wallis, If you remove his 12 he got from being injured, he is averaging 103.5 over 5 games, including a low score back from injury of 48, Has a really easy run after the bye, I think he might be good value

    Phil · 01/06/2015 at 15:40

I've had him since Round 1 as a pod and reckon I've been extremely unlucky with him. The kids a jet. Doggies are gonna be some team in a few years time, one to rival the Suns and Giants I reckon.

      dean · 01/06/2015 at 16:30

You were unlucky with his initial start, with getting injured, but two massive scores, and an easy run after byes, i think he will be great to have, i might pick him up, i started the year with wines, and traded him out, wish i had of held him to be honest.

    Zak · 02/06/2015 at 08:35

I got him in this week after having a very big look at him last week, very happy with his 153!
And yes you are right. He got 15 when injured and had a 40ish game on his comeback game, but that was against freo. Every other game he has scored or very close to a 100. Contested beast.

    marty · 02/06/2015 at 08:46

I looked at his numbers last week and I thought he was flying way under the radar and his injury had dropped his price. I took the risk and took him last week for Tarrant via a DPP. Getting his huge score and 55k price rise last week was very nice. I see him as my best fast upgrade to a reduced price Ablett a few weeks after the byes.

    The Bont · 02/06/2015 at 13:33

Doggies' four weeks after the byes is fkn juicy

    Avzmo · 02/06/2015 at 16:44

Mid season you do not want to be buying mid pricers, the only reason you would buy him is if you think hes a top 10 midfielder at year end, which im assuming your not alluding too. Waste of money for me.

Derek · 01/06/2015 at 14:29

I knew season was going to well. Had a choice last week of trading Cripps to either Buddy or Rocky.

It’s moments like that during the season you look back on and think what if?

Sammy primo's · 01/06/2015 at 14:36

Hey lek well im thinking making one trade this week either ollie wines or yeo in based on bye strategy im swaying towrds yeo based on how well west coast are going also in round 11 lek im am trading i have implented partly the jr mag stradgy with a few tweeks of course but will be downtrading 3 player in round 11 up 3 in round 12 and my lips are sealed on round 13 trades i have 20 trades left right now if i trade this week ill have 19 left would not trading make me fall further behimd hard to beat no1 overall sc name sammys primo’s please let me know what your thought are as i would consider your opionions and communitys thoughts

Mark Jenkins · 01/06/2015 at 14:57

Sorry, but you’re missing the one big piece here, in that there could be a few handy rookies on the bubble next week, after playing their 1st game last week, including Robinson, Boston & Brooksby. All 3 of these guys are either R12 or R13 bye players, and will have their first price rise in R11. So you HAVE to get them in R11.

Note: The other good rookie option is Hamling, but he does have the R11 bye, so he can wait until R12.

Nathan · 01/06/2015 at 15:01

Amon worth picking up. Looks a likely type and with no Cornes, he may feature consistently. A few low scores early…mmm.

r2d2 · 01/06/2015 at 15:02

Thoughts on Oxley to hibberd and Cripps too wines ?

    Sarah · 01/06/2015 at 15:51

    Like it!

General Soreness · 01/06/2015 at 15:23

could be anywhere from 3-5 trades for me

    throttlefinger · 02/06/2015 at 09:16

Add $10 to the Bowler Kitty, in honor of the General.

Azza · 01/06/2015 at 15:23

If you have Krakouer, you have to get rid of him.

noob · 01/06/2015 at 15:44

19 trades left. 43k in the bank. Would love some thoughts

Back: shaw, tmac, newnes, saad, oxley, Dmac (goodes, brown)

Mid: fyfe, beams, steven, JPK, parker, ebert, Vandenberg, CEY (rocky, heeney, glenn)

Ruck: maric, nic nat (read)

Fwd: gray, martin, swan, Tarrant, titch, clark (TBC, krak)

    daniel · 01/06/2015 at 19:07

19 trades is a lot! Mids are looking good so start getting some more premos probably defense first, then fed. Use the byes to your advantage

      judd0 · 02/06/2015 at 23:21

19 is not a lot. It's around the amount you should have I've got 21.
If you were going to trade out anyone it would have to be krak.
However I would hold till the bye rounds.
You can probablly trade out Kmac, Lever, CEY after this week in preparation to go bang bang bang

Tom · 01/06/2015 at 15:46

Im looking at only downgrades in the coming weeks so when the byes hit I can go BANG BANG BANG upgrading to premos according on their byes.

is this smart?

    daniel · 01/06/2015 at 19:10

Love the idea! Just be wary of your scores suffering with multiple rookies on field

T.J.M · 01/06/2015 at 15:47

Rocky 4 weeks

    Cozza · 01/06/2015 at 16:11

Is that confirmed or your estimate? I wouldn't be surprised if they rest him this week becuase that will give him 2 weeks to recover with the bye the following week.

    carpark reporter · 03/06/2015 at 19:10

more like 6-8 buddy. no way he will come back again. stupid doctor shouldn't have let him back so early and without a brace.

if any of you think rocky will this time return in under 6-8 weeks then you are living in lala land.

T.J.M · 01/06/2015 at 15:55

Thoughts on my team please. 80k in the bank.

Simpson, Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Oxley, Saad, Lever, McIntosh
Fyfe, Selwood, JPK, Parker, Beams, Rocky, Treloar, CEY, Miller, Steele, McKenzie
Goldy, Maric, Read
Gray, Martin, Swan, Hogan, Tarrent, Clark, Lonie, Krak

Was thinking of going Oxley to Hamling and Clark to any forward premo. Was thinking either Titch or Dalhaus.

    Hubris · 01/06/2015 at 21:27

    Good looking team!

Have you considered cutting Miller this week for Amon/Dumont? You can bring in Hamling before round 12 and miss his round 11 bye and pick between Oxley and Saad in case one of them comes up big in the next few weeks.

I like Dahlhaus a lot if you can afford him! If you're a bit light on, Zorko is only a touch over $400k.

Rob · 01/06/2015 at 16:00

Hey community!

Thoughts on my team? I have 86K in the bank.

BACK: Shaw, simpson, newnes, Hibbered, Lever,Saad ( mckintosh and hamling)
Mid: Fyfe, selwood, Gray, D.Mckenzie, Kennedy, Shiel, Cripps, Priddis( CEY, Krak, Blakely)
Ruck: Blicavs, Nicnat( read)
FWD: Roughy, Martin, Bont, Hogan, Franklin,Tarrant( Lonie and lambert)

Any suggestions?

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 10:09

I'd say Hold Rob. Use Tarrant, Cripps, CEY, McIntosh, Lonie, Saad and Krak for byes and when their BE gets high double go one down one up or double upgrade during the byes. Sloan post rd 11 bye is looking delicious for example.

Tyler · 01/06/2015 at 16:12

Sloane planning to come back this week v carlton

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 10:05

I'm aroused by his 162 BE and possibly getting him for 470/480k after his bye. I don't like having players from the same team in the same position but Danger and Sloan with Adelaide's form won't be an issue

Nicholas · 01/06/2015 at 16:32

Hey community,
Just wondering what i should do this week i have 4k in the bank and ranked top 3%. Was thinking maybe holding but rockliffe may be a problem. I am probably going to go tarrant/clark to dahlhaus/deledio and then go miller to glenn or another rookie. The only problem with this is that i will have to fill my mid with krak, dmac or the new rookie i bring in if either lewis or rokky dont play.

Def- shaw, taylor, saad, tmac, mcintosh, lever( leslie, hamling)
Mid- fyfe, priddis, selwood, grifen, lewis, rockliffe, miller, parker (cey, krak, d mckenz)
Ruck- goldy, nic nat (read)
Foward- gray, martin, franklin, goddard, swan, tarrant ( hogan, clark)

here is my bye structure:

Round 11- lever, rocky, cripps, lewis, martin, kmcintosh, hamling, cey-8 players out
Round 12- swan, goddard, fyfe, ibbo, miller, saad, leslie, franklin, dmac-9 players out
Round 13- selwood, clark, taylor, griffen, shaw, priddis, Hogan, krak, gold, Tarrant, nic nat, gray, read- 13 players out

Thanks for your help and time

    carpark reporter · 03/06/2015 at 19:12

hey mate- rocky round 11- 8 players out?????

Try adding rocky to round 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15- most likely you can add rocky into rounds 16 and 17 as out also.

Hi guys,

I’m looking at any ideas as to what to do next. I’m a little stumped at the moment. I’ve got 19 trades and only $13,100 in the Warchest.

Defence: Shaw, McDonald, Higgins, Newnes, Saad, Simpson (McIntosh, Lever)

Midfield: Fyfe, Dangerfield, Priddis, Pendlebury, Griffen, Cripps, Miller, Ellis-Yolmen (Krakour, Heeney, McKenzie)

Rucks: Mumford, Goldstein (Read)

Forwards: Gray, Swan, Goddard, Walker, Tarrant, TBC (Clark, Lonie)

Thanks guys!

    Traderlyf · 01/06/2015 at 16:44

krak to dumont if hes named maybe? Krak's BE even is 109 so he'll drop a lot of cash this week if he evens plays

    Joey Joe Joe · 01/06/2015 at 23:32

krak to Robinson, Boston or Dumont. ($150k made)
    Tarrant ($318k) to Buddy

    Sarah · 02/06/2015 at 09:04

Your midfield is very weak. You need to get some more premo mids in there.

@t_woof · 01/06/2015 at 16:43

This week is all about – Gassy's Gotta Go, get out of my team.

Thinking Oxley > Hamling (def would be – Hodge, Higgins, Newnes, Ibbotson, Saad, Lever // McIntosh, Hamling)

and Gas Chambers > Stef Martin to accompany Goldstein in the ruck.

Special mention to Jack Newnes, repaying the faith!
87, 95, 92, 117 the past month.

    hedski · 01/06/2015 at 21:55

Get stef. Had him end of last year couldnt pass him up again. Gun

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 10:03

Hahaha love the Gas Chambers nick name mate. Stef is still getting 120+ with Leuey in the team so i see no reason not to get him

      @t_woof · 02/06/2015 at 15:24

      Thanks lads, appreciate the feedback.

Stef Martin is at the top of my ruck want list now……Let's hope the teams are kind on Thursday night, and i can trade him in.

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:18

The issue is you are bringing in an additional premium player that will have a bye. You are better off bringing in premiums after they have played their bye so if you can it's much better to downgrade the rookies and then after round 11 bring in round 11 premiums. You can't always do this as it will depend on BE of your current rookies and how many games up coming rookies have played but be aware of your options

jack · 01/06/2015 at 17:22

who to bring in for belchambers already have goldy. i think martin will be no 1 ruck by seasons end but not sure about bringing him in at 573k

    Jono · 01/06/2015 at 19:01

I have the same thoughts but going to bring in stef Martin rd12 after his bye! Martin comes up against mummy then rd12 TBC to Martin

who should i bring in for vandenberg? peendulbury selwood or danger field
and i also got dumont for touk miller

    jack · 01/06/2015 at 17:51

vandenberg has a breakeven of like 19

      bob · 01/06/2015 at 17:52

      and i wanna upgrade him

    Jess · 01/06/2015 at 18:10

    Gotta go Pendles mate.

      hedski · 01/06/2015 at 21:56

    TheCompletePackage · 02/06/2015 at 01:10

Can't believe you're even considering Selwood.

      BKW · 02/06/2015 at 08:37

Selwood will turn it around at some stage

Jess · 01/06/2015 at 18:00

Trade 1 – Ox to Hodge

Trade 2 – Miller to Dumont, or Miller to Wines or Tarrant to Buddy?

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 10:00

I really like Hodge and Wines options. Wines will play well as Port seem to be gaining some form and Hodge will finish as the top averaging defender most likely and hopefully he doesn't cop an injury or resting

Buddy · 01/06/2015 at 18:12

If we traded Rockliff out should we hold for the 4 weeks he is expected to miss??

    I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 18:50

Would be surprised if he misses 4. He has the bye next week. And he’s a tough bloke. Hold him if you can

T.J.M · 01/06/2015 at 18:43

Thoughts on Oxley and Clark to Hamling and any premo forward? Was thinking Titch. Thoughts?

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:58

Good options. I'd look at either Goddard, Dahlhouse, Martin, Swan or Deledio before Titch as he doesn't have as bigger role at sydney as the other premos

    mcleal10 · 02/06/2015 at 18:51

    go Deledio

Nick · 01/06/2015 at 18:44

Is everyone keeping their last midfield spot for gaz or not?

    I N Pieman · 01/06/2015 at 18:53

No way. He will drop in price but not to the extent of rocky. When the time presents kill off your worst performing premo.

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:19

You can't do this I think as he is a while off. Maybe a sideways trade from Griffen once I see some form but at the moment I'm not thinking about Gaz as much as it kills me to say

    david · 02/06/2015 at 14:08

Not, Lewis this week Slone week after!

@boltie_monster · 01/06/2015 at 18:49

worries about krak's spot in the side and vest as well as oxleys vest risk so looking to get rid of both of them, is Oxley -> hamling and krak with a swing of bellchambers into forward to cover bontempelli if hes out -> Goldstein. Thoughts???_

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:57

Good Trades. Waiting another week for Hamling's Job Security would be preferable but Ox will drop 20k so probably worth it
Goldy is a great option and although his BE is 127 he could make it

Shane · 01/06/2015 at 19:09

Clark to dumont (moving the Bont fwd)

Rockliff to Fyfe (can’t go another week without him)

Krak and Tarrant were set to go, but needed to focus trades on injured players leading into the byes.

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:55

If you can hold Rock it'll be worth it.
If you're dead set on trading him for fyfe wait for teams to be announced to get a look at the rookies
Glenn midfield is on the bubble and will get full games at Gold Coast whereas Dumont will be dropped or start sub when Swallow comes back this week and when Dal Santo and Wells return he'll have no chance at a full game

Tom · 01/06/2015 at 19:19

Is dumont a decent option?

was sub the first two weeks he played but scored 80 odd in his first full game this week

    Swans 2012 · 01/06/2015 at 20:25

I like him BUT a big chunk of the north midfield due back soon…..swallow, dal santo, wells….makes me ?? His js

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:52

He'll get dropped soon or be sub if he's lucky. Wouldn't recommend Tom.

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 02/06/2015 at 11:58

I think he will stay in. Currently ahead of Norths 2nd tier players as just wants the pill. Some passengers will make way this week but can’t see Dumont being one of them.

      brook · 03/06/2015 at 10:02

i tend to agree … his ppm is very good and he may have gone past some others … he was even in quite a few centre bounces when the game was on the line too

TyS · 01/06/2015 at 19:27

I'm trading Rocky 3-4 weeks is too long …. He could be out even longer!? What is everyone else doing? Also who are my targets to bring in mid looks like Fyfe , Pendles , Beams , Lewis , Rocky , Mundy , Miller and CEY

    Macka · 01/06/2015 at 19:31

    JPK, Priddis, Sidebottom

      TyS · 01/06/2015 at 19:33

      Are you trading Rocky?

        Sarah · 02/06/2015 at 09:07

        I'm not. I'm holding him.

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:21

Holding Rocky for now. It doesn't make sense to trade him out and then trade him back in. Once he is over his injuries he will be a must have so better off keeping him and just covering for him. He could be back in round 12 after the bye.

Nick · 01/06/2015 at 19:29

Looking to bring in a mid after round 12 who is the better option out of Steele Sidebottom and David armitage?

    Macka · 01/06/2015 at 19:30

Macka · 01/06/2015 at 19:30

Oxley and Miller to Hamling and Dumont and have 500k in the bank to go bang bang in the bye rounds?
Or go Oxley to Hamling and Clark to any premo mid?

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:50

I'd say option 2 Macka. If you don't have Lewis he's prime to bring in this week even though his bye is annoying.
I just feel like Dumont won't make much $$ and isn't bargain basement price so isn't a good option. No rookie forwards is so frustrating!

Ethan · 01/06/2015 at 19:40

Depending on the bont's injury im thinking of bringing in dumont for krakour, however if bont is out ill have to hold and miss dumont

Nicholas · 01/06/2015 at 19:49

dahlhaus or deledio

Hi Community.. I'm new – but trying hard.. I know I need to trade Ox.. but need some $ to gain Fyfe (yep.. I thought I'd be smart and get him later but was wrong!).. so does anyone have a recommendation for a cheapie?

    Macka · 01/06/2015 at 20:11

    Ethan · 01/06/2015 at 21:14

it would be wise to hold oxley

      BKW · 02/06/2015 at 08:40

I don’t agree – will bleed cash this week, if I still had him I’d move him on

        TRIGGER HAPPY · 02/06/2015 at 12:04

Won’t bleed much cash this week as 98 in his 3 Rd Avg. But will next week. So I’m holding this week as want to get wines in and want another look at hamling but will be moving on next week. Might not play this week due for a rest? That would be the perfect scenario as can upgrade to gibbo, birchall, rance Rd 12.

      Sarah · 02/06/2015 at 09:08

I disagree also. Need to trade him now to bank the cash he's made. He's been subbed out 3 times, that's too much of a risk.

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:22

Hamling is your best option this week.

    david · 02/06/2015 at 14:14

Sold Oxley for Gibson last week, knew he was goin to start as sub or be subbed with Tovey back last week might get dropped this week to give marsh a go.

Jono · 01/06/2015 at 20:00

Buddy, Dahl or Goddard???

    Locked and Loaded · 01/06/2015 at 20:30

      Then the young dog
      Then buddy

Ashley J · 01/06/2015 at 20:17

Should I trade Krakouer to Boston via Lambert swing or to Brooksby via Read swing?

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:47

Wait for teams to be announced. Preferably wait another week as well to see who has better form and job security.

Rob · 01/06/2015 at 20:25

Newnes is in amazing form!

Had him as a stepping stone but because of the lack of quality premos in defense i'm thinking of keeping him for the year.

Thoughts community?

    nathan · 01/06/2015 at 20:55

    Same boat on my end
Notany blokes back there in any decent form from the start of the year beside maybe hodge but his age and at the Hawks he’ll most likely miss games for a rest

        Tyler · 02/06/2015 at 16:18

Depends what he gets. If he makes his BE he will go up in value but It's unlikely that he will.

nathan · 01/06/2015 at 21:08

Hey guys
Bought rocky in last week instead of Dahlhaus
I only think he’s gonna miss this week and his bye round
But with only 1 forward and 2 defenders needed for a half decent side
Should I trade in a m9 premo or continue on my way to a full premo side?

    Sarah · 02/06/2015 at 09:11

Continue on your way to a full premo side.

James · 01/06/2015 at 21:37

G'day Community,

Really struggling for trade ideas this week, so far this is what I've decided.

Oxley down to C Adamson(bargain basement) and then via switching Krakouer into midfield, Krakouer to J Lewis.

Already have Fyfe, Pendlebury, Dangerfield, Beams, Selwood, Griffen, Rockliff, Cripps and Yolmen.

Other potential rookies that could be traded that I have are Clarke and Tarrant.

Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Vince the quince · 01/06/2015 at 23:32

    Don't bring in Lewis
I started with him and he was great at the start
And then he started scoring 90's then he got suspended for two weeks
    Came back scored a 120
Then was a late withdrawal on the weekend with a " bruised shoulder"
Trade in sidebottom if I was you. Unfortunately I'm stuck with Lewis all year don't make my mistake!!

    wayno1313 · 02/06/2015 at 13:30

Who is forward? I like Krakouer to Buddy. Otherwise there are some other good midfield options such as Sidebottom or JPK

Jono · 01/06/2015 at 21:56

Trade in Pendles or Sidey?

    Tophawk · 01/06/2015 at 22:07

    Hi Jono.

If you are chasing points and are aiming to win this thing, then trade in Sidebottom. Great POD player.

If you want to win your league, perhaps de-pendlebury is your man.

    Your call!

      Locked and Loaded · 02/06/2015 at 09:50

    Tyler · 02/06/2015 at 16:20

At the start of the year I would say pendles for sure, but he has only had 1 score over 100 in the past 4 weeks, and sidebum is tearing it up, so sidey

John · 01/06/2015 at 22:06

I think we should still have our eye on the byes, but continue to build our team as quick as possible!
no point sitting back whilst others are trading around you, then you fall behind, its just to hard to make up that ground.

Good value this week out there, not sold on wines and wont go up much this week anyway (20k at most)
think there could be better value in defence with gibson or simpson but not sure who would be better to get out of these two,
or if there are any others i should be looking at back there?

would love some help on this one, at the moment im thinking gibson..?
thanks guys

    LEKD0G · 02/06/2015 at 00:00

Gibson and Simpson both have the found 11 bye so I'd wait on them

Michael · 01/06/2015 at 22:21

Hi guys, during an actual bye round, are you able to downgrade a player whose bye it is or are they locked out?

    nathan · 01/06/2015 at 22:28

You can still trade anyone in and out no matter of there bye

      Michael · 01/06/2015 at 22:38

      thanks Nath

        Donavan · 01/06/2015 at 22:57

You cant trade a player with the bye once the round has started.

Players with the bye are locked-out at the beginning of the first match of the round, so need to trade them leading into each round.

          Tophawk · 01/06/2015 at 23:46

Players which are subject to the "bye" cannot be traded during the rolling lock out of that round. You either trade them prior to the lock out or after the round.

I guess that is why you get an extra trade (3) prior to the bye rounds as compensation.

That is my understanding of the rules.

Tophawk · 01/06/2015 at 22:39

Hi community,

I remain conservative with my trading at the moment. Maybe just the one trade this week.

I have a few players in my side (VDB and Hogan) that were supposed to be "culled" for either rookie downgrades or premo upgrades. I still have these guys and am very pleased with their output. Both will play against the Pies on holiday Monday.

I still have 19 trades and am ranked at around 11K. Currently 1100 SC points off the lead with a very nice bye structure. I can gain ground with my trades.

    hedski · 01/06/2015 at 23:23

Ha. Culled them not long ago. Few head in hands moments…

    Vince the quince · 01/06/2015 at 23:34

    Cool story bro.

    Tyler · 02/06/2015 at 07:25

Just don't wait too long to do any trades mate, if every trade is helpful then you would want to use as many of the 30 as possible

hedski · 01/06/2015 at 23:17

Hi guys wanna put something out there. Is sinclair a valid option to trade in for clark. Would b a f7 but have goldy stef cox ruck and luckily no stinky backup fwd. Have swan goddard dusty bont tex and gunston fwd will have gray t swing down in few weeks? No eagles in side. Lambert other benchwarmer. Cheers.

    hedski · 02/06/2015 at 18:25

Is it that bad a move?

Francis · 01/06/2015 at 23:33

Who to trade out – Oxley, Krak or Tarrant?

And bring in Dumont or Amon?

    Tyler · 02/06/2015 at 07:23

Ox and Krak I think. They have the highest BE's and they will probably lose money from here on out. I think this week Oxley may even be the starting sub with De Goey starting on-field for the pies. and Krak has been getting the vest lately so I think it's time for them to go

    Danners · 02/06/2015 at 13:34

Krak, has a high breakeven and could be brought down onto the rookie list again anytime soon

      derek · 02/06/2015 at 13:52

    I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 09:01

Another option is Jack Steele. Named emergency for the last few weeks & tearing it up in the 2’s. Also has mid/fwd status. Also if you have Krak in the mids you can swing them

      derek · 02/06/2015 at 10:44

    Gryffindor · 02/06/2015 at 09:42

Out of them Rance but i'd look at Hodge, Simpson and possibly Brodie Smith if he returns with form

    Danners · 02/06/2015 at 13:33

Rance, Hooker might do the same as last season, have a great start then drop off

James · 02/06/2015 at 10:18

Is J Lewis worth trading in? Have a max of $549,000 to spend and Lewis looks like the best option.
Do you guys have any other suggestions for Midfield options at that price?

    aaron · 02/06/2015 at 11:17

I just brought in Lewis, Hawthorn need to win he will step up and they have a fairly easy draw in the coming weeks i would go with him it just depends who else you have in your midfield

    Danners · 02/06/2015 at 13:32

I'm in a similar situation, I was going to go Selwood, but with Blicavs now in the midfield, I starting to wonder whether Selwood can get it done. Lewis is definitely a good option, but other options are Ward, Treloar, Ellis, Boyd, Wines, Boak, there are quite a few

      derek · 02/06/2015 at 13:35

Selwood is a gun. one of only a few A graders in the AFL. he is joining my team this week.

Stretch Marks · 02/06/2015 at 13:28

Trying to conserve trades pre-byes, but injuries could hurt this week – I have Rockliff, Clark, Watson & Saad (and still have Salem). I feel like I need to do something, so I'm thinking of trading Rockliff & Cripps for Wines & Wallis. i know Wallis is R11 bye, but this trade helps my bye teams in R11 & R12 (where I need some help).

    Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 13:32

The exact trades I’m doing, makes sense to me….

    luke · 02/06/2015 at 21:06

I’m bringing in Wallis for miller or krak. Straight swap from miller and will leave me with a bye structure of 10/10/10. Should go up 50k this week if not more while miller or krak will go down in value. Will hopefully continue to fire out some nice scores.

Rick Grimes · 02/06/2015 at 14:14

Think I might trade out Saad this week to get Hodge. I know he's a handy little player with a bit more $ left in him, but I want that premo output. Anyone see a major problem with this?

That would be a sweet upgrade but if Saad is playing this week I'd just wait a fortnight until Hodgey has had his bye before making this switch.

I plan to do similarly with Saad –> Houli/Rance/Gibson prior to Rd12 lockout.

    carlashirley90 · 02/06/2015 at 14:43

A player like Saad can wait till his bye round

      I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 15:05

      Love your team name Carla

        derek · 02/06/2015 at 15:54

i'll be welcoming Hodge to my team Round 12, even though I said I wouldn't have any Hawthorn players in my team this year….so I started with SMitchell, he has been good.

          derek · 02/06/2015 at 15:55

Sammy has been good, not great. I knew when I got him that this would happen, I even posted it here, he would sit on the bench most of the last quarter when the Hawks had the game in the bag, instead of scoring 130+ be would score 110. Exactly what happened last weekend!!!

Brooke Richards · 02/06/2015 at 14:57

Is it okay to keep Oxley until his bye, or do we need to get rid of him now?
same with Krakouer

    I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 15:05

If Ox has a couple more poor scores his price will plummet. Then when you want to upgrade him it could be tough. If you can cash him in now with some reasonable currency it’s a good move. Having said that Saad could be out this week which could throw another spanner in the works

      Brooke Richards · 02/06/2015 at 15:42

      Ok thanks,
      What about Krakouer

      derek · 02/06/2015 at 15:52

      what is wrong with Saad?

        I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 16:25

Saad is rumoured to have picked up an injury & is in doubt. With Krak it depends. If your relying on him onfield then probably best to move him on. If he’s a bench cover assisting with a swing set Id keep him. I Don’t have any immediate plans to move him on. Round 13 bye is handy as well

          Brooke Richards · 02/06/2015 at 18:35

Was thinking of going Krak to Boston via swing and clark to dahlaus as it is good for my bye structure. Are these good trades?

nathan · 02/06/2015 at 15:07

Hey guys
I need an option for krak downgrade
He’s gonna start losing cash fast for a couple of weeks so he needs to go
I can’t put hom into the mids but can pick up someone from anywhere else
I already have hamling
And I have ryder as my ruck backup so don’t really want to bring in the kid from Gold Coast
Any idea on player would be great

Liam · 02/06/2015 at 15:33

Need your help community.
Who should I trade first
Clark or Oxley?

    derek · 02/06/2015 at 15:50

Clark is injured, could be 2 weeks or more. This means that his price won't change, but do you need bench cover?

Oxley will lose value, so I'd be getting rid of him. there is a good rookie downgrade in Hamling for next week, but if you have to go this week, he should be ok.

l. Gibbs · 02/06/2015 at 15:34

was Thinking Oxley to Enright thoughts? better defensive options?

    r2d2 · 02/06/2015 at 15:38

      derek · 02/06/2015 at 15:48

I'm starting to believe that Hodge is a safe option this year. he has had his rest, will get another in a weeks time, he'll be right for the rest of the year now.

        zeesus · 02/06/2015 at 17:46

agreed derek. Hawks HAVE to start winning. He will not get rested again and he will play hard. Good choice.

          Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 20:38

Except maybe last two weeks, Brisbane and Carlton or some such easy kill, makes me nervous

Macka · 02/06/2015 at 15:56

Oxley to Hodge and Krak to Laverde who will play soon
Oxley to Hamling and Krak to Lewis and lose fwd/mid swing
Oxley to Hamling and Clark to any premo forward?

derek · 02/06/2015 at 16:10

Malceski looks like he will play this week against swans. I'll be watching him close, and if he looks ok, i'll think about him as a round 13 trade in. If he plays two games before his bye, he should be at a very nice price.

Suns next two games before their bye are against Swans and freo, I can see his price dropping up $3805k.

    I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 16:41

If your eyeing off Malcho at 3805k as you say you must have one hell of a warchest.

    Phil · 02/06/2015 at 17:12

I might get him at Round 13 too. But first, I gotta downgrade Fyfe, Goldstein, Pendlebury, Gray, Lewis & Martin

      I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 18:05

      Lol phil nice one

derek · 02/06/2015 at 16:21

With Fremantle playing this Friday night, Fyfe maybe the most VC'd player in the history of Supercoach this week.

    I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 16:34

If he goes sub 120 it makes the captain call seriously interesting. Another monster puts the captain call to bed early in the weekend.

      Tyler · 02/06/2015 at 17:10

I'll definitely be considering Buddy if Fyfe doesn't go big, as he seems to go large against weaker sides

        I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 18:06

Same thought crosse my kind Tyler. Ballsy but could pay the table

          Paul Walnuts · 02/06/2015 at 20:12

i'm going Buddy into Gray as a POD,just have a feeling about it

Abrax · 02/06/2015 at 16:24

Is trading in Pendles a silly idea this week? I'm not worried about the byes. I hear he might be a little injured but he is still averaging over 100 a week and i don't see him losing that much more cash. Other options are Mundy, Dahlhaus, Lids or Hannebery

    I N Pieman · 02/06/2015 at 16:31

I have watched him over the last few weeks & he is clearly hampered by injuries. I didn't need Buckley coming out today to state the obvious. He's not moving anywhere near as freely as he usually does. Hard tags on him are more effective at the moment. I won't give you a biased answer. Just factor that into your decision.

      Paul Walnuts · 02/06/2015 at 20:13

      go Sidebum instead

budgiesmugglers · 02/06/2015 at 16:26

What is the communities thoughts on Rockliff if he’s out for four weeks

    Dee · 02/06/2015 at 17:32

I just brought him in lSt week, have to HOLD…. he'll be worth it!

    Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 20:41

I reckon he’s out for 4, they won’t risk him again any sooner, soooooo he’s gone from my team, no premium freeloaders over the byes…its a shame but just the way it is imo

      Derek · 03/06/2015 at 08:43

Had him for one week, now he’s gone. I’m 1k short to do a straight one trade to Selwood

zeesus · 02/06/2015 at 17:45

Ox to Shaw this week…? Or hold?

Rob · 02/06/2015 at 17:49

I'm trying to make some cash ready for the byes i already have 88K in the bank and I want to downgrade Tarrant and Krak( is currently in my mid)

I might get Glenn if he is playing this week.

Any other Suggestions?

Thoughts on going clark to bailey dale this week?

If i do it i figured out that i will have a full premo team coming out of the byes

Is this a good trade community?

Will · 02/06/2015 at 18:37

got 16 trades and want to downgrade kolodjashnij to hamling and upgrade Oxley to Gibson after round 11?

panther · 02/06/2015 at 18:47

g'day community not sure what to do with my team I've got 17 trades and got $83,700 in the war chest. not sure what to do i've got Jobe Watson he is out this week do i trade and if so who to can get anyone or hold, and my other thoughts are if i hold Watson to i do a double downgrade my other option is going Harris Andrews down to hamling giving me $219,800 to do an upgrade. i am currently ranked in the top 1%

Def- Shaw, Johnson, Lumumba, Saad, Kmac, Dmac (Andrews, s.hurley)

MIds- Fyfe, Priddis, Pendals, Heppell, Watson, Parker, Selwood, Montagna (CEY, Smith, Lambert)

Rucks- Goldy, Maric (Read)

Fwd- Gray, Martin, Swan, Zieball, T.mitchell, Clark (Lonie, Dale)

    Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 20:47

Hold Watson, CEY is good for cover, I’d hold on the downgrades as well until after the second games are done for Hamling etc.

    Dean · 02/06/2015 at 22:49

Depends on your bye strategy, if you need the cash then id be trading in young kids like Boston, Robertson, Brooksley & Hamling in round 11

In my case I have $183,700 in my war chest but iim going Heeney to Boston to generate cash and im getting rid of Oxley for Simpson because Oxley will drop quite a bit and Simpson will rise $25k this week.

      Dean · 02/06/2015 at 22:50

However yes you gotta hold Watson

Tophawk · 02/06/2015 at 19:00

Hi community,

I have Maric, Goldstein, and TBC. What about trading out TBC to Brooksby to raise some cash. All three rucs will have byes in different rounds.

Then who should I target to trade out? Oxley, Krakouer, or Clarke for a nice premo upgrade?

Any thoughts appreciated.

    Swans2012 · 02/06/2015 at 20:53

Pondering the same thing with tbc, just nervous about brooksby getting dropped and leaving no cover. Also leaves read as a non floating donut in my forward line as no one to switch him with which will also make me nervous. But I don’t think I’ll be able to resist if brooksby goes ok this week…. As for the premo upgrade, look to the byes and trade accordingly, my byes have me keeping ox, Krak I think volunteers himself for the chop, Clark will miss j think… Your call

TOM · 02/06/2015 at 19:04

Thoughts on my team please. 80k in the bank.

Simpson, Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Oxley, Saad, Lever, McIntosh
Fyfe, Selwood, JPK, Parker, Beams, Rocky, Treloar, CEY, Miller, Steele, McKenzie
Goldy, Maric, Read
Gray, Martin, Swan, Hogan, Tarrent, Clark, Lonie, Krak

    hedski · 02/06/2015 at 22:33

Looks good smash into your fwds

Charlesy · 02/06/2015 at 19:16

Community here’s a couple of questions. 1. Who are the biggest priorities to go, Oxley, Clark, Krakouer heeney and 2. I have one more premo spot left in my forward line. Do we trust Deledio now? Love to put him in but how’s his calf/Achilles? Thanks guys

    TOM · 02/06/2015 at 19:19

IMO, Oxley and Krak, as Clark and Heeney are out and won't lose money. Who are your premo fowards? I would suggest if you didn't have Gray, Floggard, Martin, Dalhaus they would be your priorities. I'm not sure about Deledio, has had little niggles but does look good!

      Charlesy · 02/06/2015 at 19:39

Thanks Tom. I’ve got Gray Martin Goddard swan and franklin mate. Have put Deledio in there and it looks great but like you I’m worried about his body.

        TOM · 02/06/2015 at 20:05

        Dalhaus then mate.

          Charlesy · 02/06/2015 at 20:59

Yep play it safe. Thanks Tom

      Dean · 02/06/2015 at 21:17

Tom are you waiting until round 12 before making this trade. I agree bring in Dahlhaus and get rid of Heeney as he isn't doing anything anyway.

jmy7 · 02/06/2015 at 19:51

Great in tell there Legdog!! well I have no money in the war chest, well id be lying…. I have 16K… so the place that i feel i can make the money this round in Heeney down to ?????. This is the question pondering me, and all the popular rookies that everyone has I'm not into trading until the byes.
hope that this is seen by someone thats willing to give?!
that is all…

    hedski · 02/06/2015 at 21:00

    Amon dumont glenn

    Dean · 02/06/2015 at 21:07

Heeney to Boston from GCS or the other kid that looked good was Robinson from Sydney who scored 83 on Friday against Carlton, downfall is I cannot see his job security being strong at all.

    I'm going Heeney to Boston.

      hedski · 02/06/2015 at 21:14

I have glenn culling krak but unsure between amon dumont. Like both but who has more js? steel/laverde sounds good with dpos but not before couple games

tom · 02/06/2015 at 19:51

who do i get for TBC sick off him beforming this bad.

    Dean · 02/06/2015 at 20:58

Do you have Read in the Ruck? If you do, you can trade out TBC via Read and get Brooksby but wait until round 10 is over before making this trade.

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 03/06/2015 at 14:35

I’m going the other way as tbc is ruck-fwd cover. Trade read to Brooksby next week and going Tbc up to wines via krak dpp or Tbc to Dahl thinking wines is too good of value to ignore. .

Dean · 02/06/2015 at 20:52

Hi community, this is what I am thinking to do regarding trades. I currently have 19 trades with $183k in the war chest.

My current team looks like this:
DEFENCE:- Shaw, Oxley, Lumumba, Saad, McIntosh, Lever – EMG: Goodes, McKenzie
MIDFIELD:- Fyfe, Dangerfield, Priddis, Pendles, Beams, JPK, Parker, Rockliff – EMG: Ellis-Yolmen, Miller, Heeney
RUCK:- Goldstein, Blicavs – EMG Read
FORWARD:- Gray, Martin, Swan, Hogan, TBC, Clark – EMG: Krakouer, Dale

Round 10 Trades

Round 11 Trades
TBC to BROOKSBY Note: Only if he ends up being on the bubble & is listed to play in round 11

Round 12 Trades

Round 13 Trades
Not exactly sure as yet but will be looking to trade out Krakouer or McKenzie or Hogan

After round 12 trades this will leave me with 12 trades remaining and im planing to use at least another two by Round 13 which means I will have 10 or 9 trades remaining after round 13

DEFENCE:- Shaw, Simpson, Murphy, Enright, Lumumba, McKenzie – EMG: Lever, Hamling
MIDFIELD:- Fyfe, Dangerfield, Priddis, Pendles, Beams, JPK, Parker, Rockliff – EMG: Ellis-Yolmen, Krakouer, Boston
RUCK:- Goldstein, Blicavs – EMG Brooksby
FORWARD:- Gray, Martin, Swan, Dahlhaus, Hogan, Clark – EMG: Dale, Read

What's your thoughts community? Any advice or any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ryan · 02/06/2015 at 22:20

Hey Guys, I'd like some opinions on my team as it currently sits. I have a few problem players, but I could just hold this week and make no trades.

DEF: Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Oxley, Lumumba, Saad (Lever, Mckintosh)
MID: Fyfe, Pendles, JPK, Beams, Rocky, Cripps, Selwood, Griffen (Miller, CEY, Mckenzie)
RUCK: Goldy, Nic Nat (Read)
FWD: Swan, Martin, Buddy, Hogan, Clark, Tarrant (Lonie, Krakouer)

I have 18 trades remaining and 93K in the bank.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    nathan · 03/06/2015 at 00:35

I was going to go tarrant/clark to dahlhaus/deledio and then go miller to glenn or another rookie. However now that rockie is injured should i trade him out this week or after his bye?

Def- shaw, taylor, saad, tmac, mcintosh, lever( leslie, hamling)
Mid- fyfe, priddis, selwood, grifen, lewis, rockliffe, miller, parker (cey, krak, d mckenz)
Ruck- goldy, nic nat (read)
Foward- gray, martin, franklin, goddard, swan, tarrant ( hogan, clark)

here is my bye structure:

Round 11- lever, rocky, cripps, lewis, martin, kmcintosh, hamling, cey-8 players out
Round 12- swan, goddard, fyfe, ibbo, miller, saad, leslie, franklin, dmac-9 players out
Round 13- selwood, clark, taylor, griffen, shaw, priddis, Hogan, krak, gold, Tarrant, nic nat, gray, read- 13 players out

Thanks for your help and time

    John · 03/06/2015 at 10:51

I am going to hold rocky on the bench as loophole. Vast majority of coaches grabbed him so suspect we are all in the same boat.

I am also having to hold due to amount of trades left but if you have plenty left you may be ok to trade him out

      hedski · 03/06/2015 at 11:03

    The Bont · 03/06/2015 at 14:39

Pretty good bye structure you've got there, as you'll have the chance to trade out a few of your Rd 13 players during byes. Hold Rocky

Danners · 03/06/2015 at 13:03

Great stuff Lek! I will probably be looking at 3 trades for the next two weeks. I do have Rockliff, but I reckon it would be wise holding for the next couple weeks and see what happens then. Trades are looking like this
This week-Schade-H.Goddard and Krak to Mid Premo?
Next week-Saad-Enright
If I do these trades, it will leave me with about $560,000 for a premo mid. These trades are structured around my bye strategy
I'm looking for a premo mid at Ellis, Shiel, Lewis, Boyd, Boak
I feel Selwood can't get it done with Blicavs in the midfield, I know he did last year, but this year is a new year

Mitch · 03/06/2015 at 13:24

Seriously griffen he just kills me every week.
Do we hold him till post his bye round?

    CJay · 03/06/2015 at 14:30

Not every week as the yo yo score comes back up this week 70 118 77 113 69 107 53 120 56 ton?

    Danners · 03/06/2015 at 15:23

Yes, as painful as it can be unless, there are no trades that you need to do

BundyBear · 03/06/2015 at 14:14

I was thinking… Sorry, thats as far as I got

ThatDamnRascal · 03/06/2015 at 14:54

Am in a world of hurt!!!
Traded Rocky in last week now out for 4-6.
Watson gone for 1-2 plus he's been spudding it up
Griffin still inconsistent
Rookies in Clark, Cripps, Oxley, Saad, Miller, Mcintosh, Krakour, Tarrant all averaging around their BE.
TBC hasn't even turned into a sweet potato.
Bye rounds are next week.
NFI what to do

TOM · 03/06/2015 at 15:46

Is Franklin a good premo forward option? I already have Gray, Martin and Swan

Dahlhaus, Goddard, Gunston are much better options by a mile. Forget Franklin he will score you more 50's to 70's and every now and again he will score you a 150+ he is far to inconsistent.

Whats with everyone putting up their BYE strategies and counting Rocky as out for round 11.

Try re-doing you bye strategies with Rocky missing Rounds 10,11,12,13,14,15 and most likely 16 and 17.

He will be out for 6-8 weeks

Im not sure if any of you know of the seriousness of Rocky suffering broken ribs again, and if that doctors contract isn't under review for allowing him back so soon- AND without a rib brace I would be surprised as that was laughable and negligible- hes lucky he didn't get a punctured lung. And will also be lucky to avoid an infection in the chest region.

Its very important that he recovers fully
