Here come the rookies folks!
And blow me down – we have our first RUCK rookie prospect this week in Keegan Brooksby and a nice little cluster of rookie options hitting the field for their first games this week. You little ripper.
It’s a joyous community night podcast this week as we celebrate the return and freedom from oppression of The Skin Flute. A massive slather of trade conundrums also discussed
Enjoy the show!
NOTE: Club Jock Members – we will be recording an exclusive extended length Club Jock podcast this weekend which should be ready early next week so STAY TUNED – or sign up here if you aren’t yet onboard
Should I be trading Lonie out this round? Can only downgrade
Dale looks the best option, will avoid starting with the vest this week too (possibly be subbed off), not sure about his scoring output, rookie choices are scarce.
No forward rookies to bring in. Dale if desperate but questionable JS and high sub chance.
should i start hamling or mckenzie?
Mckenzie has a good chance of not playing. Wait until finalised teams tomorrow arvo.
hold Lonie until the Bye
no good downgrade option
Hey community, saw Grant Birchall hobble off the field Saturday night, looked really sore, I know he is subdue to tests, but does anyone know a possible time frame? cheers
Mate he'll be fine don't sweat it. A true supercoacher would never doubt a superstar like Birch.
Just wanting to know a time frame on his injury..
Should be back next week. No need to risk him against Gold Coast.
Out this week isn’t he ?
Need to downgrade Tarrant or Miller this week to be able to upgrade to Rockliff.
Who is a better option out of Dale and Menadue?
Dale, but both aren't good options.
I do not like either option. I am going Karl Amon, Has played 2 sub affected games but is named on ground this week.
Hopefully he will play through the byes at least. Kane Cornes retiring and injuries could see him play 5 or 6 games.
I will change my mind if he is made sub before I do my planned trade.
I have downgraded to Lambert. Might be a few weeks away but he should walk straight in.
Tarrant-Menadue, heard rumors that Hardwick wants to run his young boys around a bit more
hold
dont get sucked into these trades this week
Deledio or dalhaus?
I don't think Deledio is a great option due to the chance he'll get injured/rested.
I also think Dahlhaus will have more consistent scoring.
But when Deledio goes big, he goes BIG
Dahlhaus: Safer pick, less upside,
Deledio: Much better player, injury risk / could be managed.
Dahlhaus, cheaper and is one of the highest averaging forwards I believe
take a punt on lids injury woes being behind him, or wait until after his bye
Hey Higgo- we most certainly need another Shaun Higgins song for the second third/half of the season. I thought it was on the cards when you took control of the music last week.
no crass in the song please
keep it clean for all the Mothers
Kade Simpson and Dayne beams?
Top 6 top 8
I think both are just outside the top 6/8. But their price reflects that.
Like
lonie or mcintosh out?
Lonie without a doubt mate, he has a break even of 100 compared to McIntosh's break even which is 43. Lonie will drop at least $20k you would think. McIntosh should still make you money.
Hope this helps…
cheers heaps dean
Lonie, higher breakeven
Lonie over Kmac
however no good downgrade options
Is it worth bringing in someone like Hugh Goddard or Steele for Lonie as they are guaranteed games soon? I need to get rid of lonie this week
Neither a guaranteed games any time soon! Steele would be playing for almost any other team but with GWS's midfield, there's no room for him and if he plays, lock him in for the sub. Theres a few players above Goddard and will take a lot of injuries for him to get a game.
I wouldnt bring either in until named.
I wouldn't be in a hurry to move Lonie on. Yes he has a sizable BE this week and next but that is artificially elevated due to being KO'd in the first minutes of his last game. Once that 3 has cycled through his pricing he'll be back to making you cash again.
He is also a live body with excellent JS and decent scoring potential which is especially crucial during the bye period. So I wouldn't be trading him out for someone with flaky or non existent JS and/or limited scoring ability.
Totally agree Addict. I am still holding him at this stage.
Agreed!
Agreed
well written piece of literature
might chuck a vice captain on tommy mitchell, thoughts ?
I like it. One thing I've noticed about Carlton (ever since Round 1 when Dusty, Lids, Cotchin struggled while Hunt, McIntosh smashed it) they're a obviously a bad team but they do have good taggers. So it seems the oppositions first string midfielders don't usually smash it, but the second string (which is what I'd class Titch as in this strong midfield) midfielders do.
shhhhh
dont spoil it mate!!!!
Parker vc to smash the blues and if not Lewis v Gold Coast! I reckon I’ve got it covered this week.
What do you reckon on Ryder fellas? Out this week with Achilles injury and has struggled to score well recently.
Cop a donut this week or trade to a Blicavs, Mummy or Goldy?
Trade to avoid a donut. Cant really split Martin, Blicavs, Mumford, Jacobs. Don't trade Goldstein in with a b/e around 170
If it's to save a donut I wouldn't care to much about break evens, you need the guy now. So to me Goldstein, followed by Blicavs would be the best value for money. I wouldn't pick Mumford unless if you have backup.
Yeah ship him off immediately as that achilles could linger even when he comes back and curtail his scoring ceiling throughout the season.
Plus not sure he'll be a consistent premium point scorer even if fully fit, playing primarily up forward with Lobbe getting the bulk of the ruck minutes.
So an easy trade for mine especially if you already have the cash to go straight to one of the premier rucks.
i brought in him a coulpe of week ago into FWD for RUC cover
need to hold i think
structure wise he is vital
Lumumba >> K. Simpson done bang! increasing scoring capacity greatly. H2H only
Solid trade. Never consider Lumumba ever again.
Ever
EVER
you must feel very clean now, having got rid of him from your team.
I've still got the dirty blighter and will hang on for round 12, but after then let the cleansing begin
I have the Prince
He is killing my team
but he has put a spell on me
i cant trade him out
Hey Community,
Should I put Mitch Clarke or Robbie Tarrant on the field?
Cheers
Clarke.
Clark doesn't seem to get much of the pill, but seems to get an ok SC score every week. I don't think clark has actually had a good game this year, so when he does I can see him going 95+. WCE are lacking some height in defence, so it might be this week.
Is kade simpson someone we should be looking to bring into defence this round as it the cheapest he will be. His rd 11 bye should not affect. Thoughts?
A guy with a ceiling of 150, as proven last week, is a must have in our defence imo. His durability makes him moreso.
Agree, but durability – he was out the previous week injured.
Two weeks!
he had hardly missed a game for the last 3 years before he missed those two week.
I have him since round 1 and always though him as a year long keeper. now he is cheaper.
Upgrade your FWD MID and RUC lines first
community, ive got two premium spots left for my mid, and one of them is going to rocky, whether it is this week or after his bye. the other spot is going to either lewis, sidebottom or parker. if it is parker or sidey, i'll bring one of them in this week, and then snag rocky after his bye at around 520K. but if its lewis, ill trade in rocky this week, and pick up lewis after his rd 11 bye. would love to hear your thoughts about both ideas, right now leaning towards parker
I'm bringing Rockliff in the week and then one of Lewis or Beams after the bye. If i could, i'd love to get Sidebottom, no one has him and every chance to be a top 8 mid, just costs a lot more than the others.
watch sidebum to his bye
post bye could be POD of the year
Cripps upgrade or Tarrant upgrade ?
hold both this week
unless u need rocky then trade cripp for rocky, otherwise HOLD
Which one of the following mids should I have on the field, no loophole available-
Saad (GCS)
CEY
Krakouer
Thanks.
Saad
Isn’t CEY suspended or did I imagine I heard Jock say it?
Seems I imagined it! :-/
I would normally say Saad, but they are up against a pretty good team this week. Crows have freo, so by elimination I would go with krak who are playing Melbourne.
Cannot see why u wouldnt have Saad in your DEF line and have Krak in your FWD line
Krak has melb this week and coming of a stinker against the tigers needs to lift or face the chopping block
Ive still got Zorko. Community wanna know what to do with him. I want to hold him, knowing his potential to score mega highs in the 160s. I always knew there was the risk of him scoring sub 60s, which are trash but he was there for his good weeks. I don't want to cement his 120k loss and with Brisbane looking slightly getting things back together, and Rocky back in the team, his scoring output i believe will be on the up. I realise his midfield minutes are more limited this year compared to last, so Brisbanes forward time is what Zorko is relying on a lot more. Stumped on what to do. Playing round12, which seems like the worst of the byes, so even with the potential to flop is a good prospect to hold.
Hold till after rd 12, i completely agree with him potentially improving form with rocky back and brisbane player better
i stopped reading after the first sentence
HOLD Zorko the Magnificent
Community, looking for thoughts on Jake Lever. I know he's now priced just over $200k, but suits my plans through to the end of the byes. Averaging 69 with a breakeven of 13, and job security looks okay with injuries to Adelaide defenders.
Too expensive
Missed the boat on Lever, he'll have to play on a good freo forward this week and won't score much
If you bring him now in you'll probably need to ride him through to the end of the year as bench cover. Otherwise it will cost you a second trade to offload him
nope
Hamling is a good option, he should your plans. Round 11 bye, should have similar job security to Lever
+1
you have missed him in my opinion
do not get him now
Hey Community,
Couple of questions,
1) Karl Amon. Without Cornes is he in the best 22? Desperate for a downgrade option (doesn't matter where) and I think Amon is the best pick. I like Biggs but way to expensive.
2) Is Bellchambers to Brooksby (GC ruck rookie) a viable trade? On the surface, it sounds stupid but Brooksby could realistically outscore Bellchambers and actually go up in value unlike Bellchambers. The fact that Dixon, Lynch and Nicholls are playing and they chose him over Zac Smith could mean ok JS.
Cheers and good luck for the weekend.
Would steer clear of bringing in Brooksby without having played a game. Yes, he might outscore TBC, but in terms of making you any money, why not wait the 2 games and get a look at the guy before making the call. If Bellchambers scores his average over the next 2 games, he's only gonna drop around $7k – $8k. Seems a fair price to pay for 2 games worth of information on Brooksby.
Agree with @GOODO71, if Brooksby can hold his spot in the next few weeks, it probably would be worth trading TBC down to him
I would nominate that as the boldest Shark move of the year.
Give Amon another week
wont go up in value too much this week
Brooksby is not a good option at this stage. They have SMITH and Nicholls
you will find Brooksby is getting a game as a reward for good reserves form. dont expect him to keep his spot
Smith doesn't look like getting a game any time soon. Nicholls no 1 ruck and even Brooksby getting a game over him.
If people have the cash for it, should people be looking to upgrade Miller to Rocky instead of Cripps? Touk Miller has 3 tough games in Hawks, Swans and Dockers until the bye. Cripps will only have to play 2, and will be a lone force in the midfield. With the standard rookies, Cripps can be upgraded by downgrading McKintosh or Tarrant in the first bye round. Then you can focus on upgrading Saad or Oxley in round 12.
I definitely will be, it really suits my bye plans, but I was wondering what other peoples thoughts are about this option.
I would move Miller before Cripps to get Rocky.
Do it
you have a good plan
i like it
I did this.
For round 11/12/13, are players who have a bye locked out at the start of the round or at the end? If it's at the end, can loophole everywhere.
There locked out at the start mate.
Dont need to loophole. Top 18 scoring.
Looks like I'll have a loophole option round 13 in the mid. Only getting donuts from Goldy and Nic Nat.
Is anyone considering Michael Hurley down back??
Has been too inconsistent in seasons past and i don't think he'll score well when he has to play on good key forwards
Wait for half back flankers and def/mid players to hit form
Hurley was switched to defence late last year and averaged over 100 playing there.
He is playing solely in defence this year and has done very well now that he has more experience playing there.
Yes I do have him in my team as one of my POD defenders for the year and I am happy with his consistency.
4 games over 100 with a 96.8 average is pretty good for a defender.
If Rocky wasn't so cheap this week and Selwood next week, then I'd look to get him in. But midfield premos have priority right now
good option but i strictly follow the rule that you need to get your FWD RUC MID lines first
brought him in for the prince a while back and couldn't be happier, he's playing some real good footy
Thoughts on hamling starting or mckenzie
Mckenzie has Brisbane so should score 60+
Hamling is 194cm tall so won't gather much pill and most likely play a key defensive roll and not score much
Will golsteins form change around soon?? Or should I look to move on?
Is this a serious question? If so then you MUST hold Goldy he will be in the top 5
Hold, he had one bad week and if you take that out he's been the best scoring ruck for the year
I'm getting him in next week, so I'll take him off your hands.
every player has a bad week
hold
Hey Community,
Thinking of upgrading either Oxley/Saad to Simpson/Hibberd
And Cripps to Barlow/Lewis/Selwood
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
Oxley & Saad both have some cash to make, if you can trade someone else either Hibberd or Simpson are good options.
I gather you have already got Rocky, if not his a priority. I like Lewis the best of the 3 you name.
I wouldn't trade oxley or saad because they're both in good form and have money to make, wait till their byes to trade to a premo
If you are definitely going to Simpson will score more than Hibberd
If you don't think Cripps will do well against Sydney with no murphy, judd, gibbs then Lewis would be best out of those 3, will destroy Gold Cost
Oxley to Simpson
Cripps to Selwood
Oxley-Simpson, Cripps-Selwood are good trades
hold ox and saad
I would hold off trading Cripps. Carrazzo is a possible out and I reckon Cripps will ton up.
I wouldn't trade Saad or Oxley either. Wait till their byes
Miller/Tarrant<Cripps
Trade Cripps or tArrant to get rocky ?
Personally, I'm going Salem to Rocky (via Grey to FWD) this week, but I do also have Cripps and Tarrant in my team.
I think Cripps has more scoring upside than Tarrant. Cripps has a breakeven of 86, which he has reached in 4 of his 6 games this year, and the 2 times he's missed were in his rd 1 debut and last week's massacre vs Geelong. I know Carlton are gonna get beaten up again tomorrow night, but no Judd, Murphy or Gibbs means somebody from Carlton has to score some points.
So if you've gotta move one of these guys for Rocky, I vote Tarrant.
Tarrant to Rocky. Cripps will score better than Tarrant, and this game is about points foremost.
Tarrant
I wasn't going to do any trades this week because I only have 20 trades remaining but I'm considering trading Heeney to Amon this week for the extra cash
i can't see amon scoing much even with a full game and will be a subbed off risk and future starting sub risk.
I'd hold and wait for Glenn to return from injury who looks like he can gather some pill
I am looking to bring Amon in this week as I am painting the fence and don't like other options.
He may be vested off but he is currently on ground and with Polec injured for a few more weeks and Kane retiring I think he will be given games for enough weeks to make some cash and play through the byes.
I will change my mind if he is vested before I trade.
If you havent gotten rid of Heeney by now then hold.
Amon is not the best option.
Consider a high risk move like Heeney to Steele
i have 20 trades left and i am holding hopefully to r11
Hi community,
Just wondering your thoughts on these trades
Out Cripps and Bont
In franklin and Rockliff
Or
Out Heeney and Tarrant
In Rockliff and brooksby
In either trade, I will get Rockliff but with Syd playing Carlton Friday, is the temptation to get buddy because he might score big. To get him though, have to give up two very good players in Cripps and Bont
Which is the best option community
Don't trade the bont or cripps, i think both will score well this week
Tarrant i can see starting to score 50-60 and his start of the season was a fluke so i'd go option 2 but not sure about brooksby if he'll stay in the team
wait a few more weeks for Buddy. He is playing injured, after the bye he should be better and look out for the big Buffalo Bounce.
If you wait will get him cheaper.
thanks Derek
i think your right
Why would you get rid of the Bont?
im assuming you brought him into your team with a trade..
then your going to trade him out
then most likely trade him back in when he bottoms out in price post bye
justy hold him mate
Yep, I reckon hold Big Willy. He'll be absolutely raring to go this week – had to endure the absolute farce that is the VFL tribunal this week and playing GWS and that Ryan Griffen + Callan Ward scum on the weekend.
I'm just gonna say it… can see him going wild and scoring 120
Trade Cripps, Ellis Yolmen or Krakouer for Rockliff?
If you have to trade i'd almost lean towards Ellis Yolmen
He has Fremantle so won't score big whereas Cripps is carltons best mid this week and Krakour had one bad week and still has tonnes of cash to make
agreed
Outs Cripps and Oxley. Both pretty much at their fattened peak
Ins : Blicavs and Rocky. Now have Gold and Blicavs as the two rucks for the rest of the season swinging TBC into the fwd line
18 trades going into the byes wont make any trades until then. 5 – 7 players until full premo. Only trouble right now is 14k in the warchest.
I'd hold Cripps as I think he has a little more to offer. You've done very well to being 5-7 players until full premium. I'm 4 off going full premium.
get rocky
avoid Blicavs
save your trades for bye rounds
Hi jock. In keeping up with the spirit of the community I noticed a little tension between Higgs and Crouching. To alleviate the pressure I’d like to suggest they both sit down together, grab some pop corn and watch the “Country sisters” on the YouTube. Fits Higgs love of step dance with crouching’s love of bottom. Welcome.
haha
or get Higgo to take community night podcast on his own so there is no CRASS behaviour.. keep Mother Higginbotham happy
Hi community, what are your thoughts on miller down to mitch Wallis. Only frees up 50k but taking Wallis injury affected score out he is averaging just over 90. Bulldogs have a nice run coming up could be a perfect stepping stone to a ultra premo. Thoughts? Thnx
i can see him making 200k so good move in my books
When you move Miller on, it should only be for a top 10 midfielder. And Wallis is not in top 10.
I would say that is almost sideways trade, Miller can produce near 90SC output as well.
dislike
sideways trade
wait post bye and see how wallis goes
Hi community, two major issues with my team at the moment are TBC at R2 and Lumumba in defense….only have $32k in the bank…do I ride these 2 to the byes or gamble on Dale/Amon this week to get the cash to bring in a Blicavs/Jacobs/Martin??
TBC has to go, he is costing you points, plus the guys you will replace him with are increasing in price (except Goldy). If you are going for rank you need to find a way to get him out this week. if you are going for league wins, you can wait a bit.
Yep, agree I need to get TBC out….just can't come decide how to generate the cash required to upgrade…any thoughts?? team below..
D – Shaw, Mcdonald, Newnes, Saad, Oxley, Lumumba (lever, mcintosh)
M – Fyfe, Pendles, Neale, JPK, Griff, Cripps, CEY, Rocky (krakour, mckenzie, anderson)
R – Goldy, TBC (read)
F – Gray, Martin, Swan, Higgins, Mitchel, Bont (tarrant, clarke)
hold
hold and hold
do not trade out
wait for their byes
G'day community,
Want to get an overall feel for the bye rounds. Time is up I feel for Ben Newton and Robbie Tarrant but there's slim pickings for rookies to bring in. Is it worth trading the 2 out to setup a bit of a war chest come the bye rounds, or risk it and hold all trades until the bye rounds and go from there? Caught in 2 minds
Cheers
I reckon wait one or two weeks and maybe pick up Keegan Brooksby cheap.
Building a warchest is a good idea
just hold this week mate see what the SC landscape digs up
Def- shaw, ibbo, lumumba, newnes, oxley, saad,(k mac, lever)
Mid- fyfe, selwood, jpk, rockliff, parker, danger, griffin, cripps,(vandenberg, cey, mckenzie)
Ruck- goldy, nic nat
Fwd- swan, gray, martin, clark, TBC, krak,(tarrant, lambert)
Got 22 trades left and 120k in the bank, was thinking of downgrading TBC, but concerned about the lack of fwd rookies
Thoughts on what I should do would be well appreciated!
who are you going to get as your last midfield spot? Gaz, pendlebury.
Yeah pendles mate
hold this week mate and go gang busters through the bye rounds
you will be looking to get Pendles after his bye then your team is set up
Hold for Ryders price to bottom out and go TBC to ryder post bye
Anyone else considering Titch as a VC option tonight? Wants to really cement his place in the Swans midfield and there will be plenty of ball available in the guts. May find it an easy way to make a name. I'm leaning towards Parker but a bit of food for thought
I've got Parker, Kennedy and Mitchell. Tough choice on the VC!
you need to SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
lets keep this on the D/L please
Midfield Rookie Downgrade options for J Lloyd??
Menadue, Dumont, Dawson, Amon are all good options
Thanks mate even though your a c#unt
sorry that was my school mate
Dude…. not cool
Unfortunately I have TBC as R2. What are your views on Jake spencer ruck from melb?? Only 344K ave91 last game 115.
thinking of trading TBC for him, using Spencer to rise in value up to his round13 bye, then trade him for a premo like Jacobs, Mumford or Maric who I think will fall in price again over the next 4-5 weeks. I just cant see TBC going up, in fact is likely to start bleeding cash.
Is this sound SC strategy? what do you all think?
Is goldy your r1? If not wait for him to drop.
goldy is R1
Spencer was rucking against Ayce Cordy, it won't be that easy again. Don't see much upside over TBC tbh
Hi community,
Just wondering your thoughts on these trades
Out Cripps and Bont
In franklin and Rockliff
Or
Out Heeney and Tarrant
In Rockliff and brooksby
In either trade, I will get Rockliff but with Syd playing Carlton Friday, is the temptation to get buddy because he might score big and he be traded in as keeper. To get him though, have to give up two very good players in Cripps and Bont
Which is the best option community
Dang. I spent ages typing that message but i swore haha!
Basically. I wouldn't sideways to Buddy from Bont. Bont will be a great m6 at the end of year so HOLD. Im personally waiting for Buds to string some 100+ together to warrant his place. Plus the rd12 bye will be a killer if you have 1 or 2 of Titch, JPK, Parker or Hanners if you throw Buddy into the mix. Maybe a post-bye bye-in?
As for Rocky, do you need to do a secondary trade in order to get him? Id get rid of Cripps for him but check your rd 11 bye structure. May be worth holding off a few weeks
Hi Jesse
Yes I do need to do a secondary trade to get Rockliff. I would love to get him this week if I can. Cripps, I believe has a bit more mileage in him yet, so I think I will keep him and also he might go alright in a decimated carlton midfield.
My other option is to trade out brown and CEY and bring in rocky and say Glenn. However CEY will also have a bit more in him yet so I should keep him, that is why I thought of Tarrant to trade out.
hold bont
get rocky
Dreamt that the new Kolo at G Town tonned up on debut if anyone has the cajones to trust me!
Is this like when u dreamt cey was suspended mate? Lol
Haha…. Must’ve been! I swear I heard Jock say he was suspended in the Poddy!
I am entertaining my Mother In Law out here in Timor-Leste this week, so it’s call sorts of crazy! She’s on some herbal cigarette sh*te and keeps dropping bombs in the car that’d make a dog gag!
Hazey
pls
Thinking of culling Oxley this week, and I'm still holding Sloane. Considering a Oxley to hibberd almost certainly. What about a Sloane to shiels? Or any another round 13 premium around the 550 mark?
Hibberd has cracked the ton twice this year. I would avoid. I would also avoid Shiels. I would hold Sloane if you can. I looks like you don't need to trade this week.
Sloane will be back in R10 or R12 so he will only miss 1 or 2 more matches. I know he will go down in price initially but he is a keeper so his price is not as important as saving one trade.
Sloane is another fallen star I plan to bring in, along with Goldy.
Hold Ox
If you have held Sloan this long just keep him mate
Ok, will do. Sitting 2nd in my league at the moment, and about 9000 overall after a pretty average first few weeks. Annoyingly, started with both Parker and Beams who both have had slow starts, and Gary who I traded to Sloane….
If no to Oxley and Sloane(thought he was sill 4 weeks away) to Hibberd and Shiel, then what about a Salem to Franklin move? Would also need to trade McIntosh to someone cheap in the backline. Have Hamling already, maybe Kolo?(Geelong variant)
Currently have 22 trades and keep getting 2100-2200 most weeks. Looking to get that up to 2300 sooner rather than later.
Salem to Franklin is a great trade
i prefer FWD MID players in my FWD line but Buddy is about to go BANG i rekon.
I traded Ablett to Sloan too. very painful move
Salem to Franklin and McIntosh to Kolo it is. McIntosh was on bench anyway. Projected 2317, not that I believe it lol.
While I respect your thoughts on Cripps Jock, I will still be trading him out this week. My gut feel is that he won't make his breakeven against the Swans. I'm sorry to say it, but the Swans midfield is significantly better than the Saints midfield which he scored 172 against. I can see him having a hard time of it with Murphy, Gibbs and Judd all out.
Cripps, you've been great, but it's time to go!
I agree with you. Cripps has been superb and despite the fact he might have a decent game against the Swans, superstar Tom Rockliff at 465 K is the guy that will replace Crippsy. Logic and common sense should prevail here. Both Carlton and Brisbane both have the bye in round 11. Therefore, by bringing in Rocky for Cripps, there is no net negative impact on your teams structure going into the round 11 bye. For me, this trade ticks all the boxes.
Exaclty, by trading to another round 11 bye player there is no negative impact to my teams bye structure. I already have Rockliff so I'm looking at Dahlhaus and Deledio to bring into my forward line. Leaning towards Dahlaus just because of the injury uncertainty surrounding Deledio. I'd rather have a premium round 11 bye player than a rookie round 11 bye player for the next 2 rounds.
depends who you are bringing in for him. unless your getting a proven elite player try and hold one more week
Already have Rocky so thinking a POD in Dahlhaus or Deledio. Needs to be a round 11 bye player.
i like Lids
such a gun
Get Lids
did i mention i like Lids?
Lol, yeah you did mention that you liked Lids!! I'm kinda leaning towards Dahlhaus though as I'm a bit put off by the coach saying Lids was a week-to-week prospect. Also think he's more of a tag risk. I like Dahlhaus. The Bont and Macrae get tagged before he does and he's spending more time in the midfield these days. He's also a POD, in just 4.4% of teams and averaging 106.
Good to see that Will "skinflute" Minson is happy on his flute again Jock! I will be one of those people this week trying to make a push on overall ranking by doing Miller-Rockliff, and Tarrant-Menadue by swinging players.
which rookie out for Rocky? Vandy, Krakour, Miller or Cripps or even Tarrant, Clark or hogan.
and which rookie is the best option to trade in I was looking at Dale but I feel Amon is a better option possibly?
I can pick fwd or Mid due to swing set
thoughts community?
i have the same dilemma … leaning toward amon but he is at leadt a week behind glenn in cash generation due to subaffected scores. IF glenn plays next week he will have more $ upside UNLESS Amon scores around 80-90 this week and follows up with 50-70 scores. For me it is amon v R10 rookie as i will bring glenn in next week anyway … assuming he plays (injury report was encouraging but u never really know) … ideally i would like to hold but i need the cash to grab rocky. as usual, its a conundrum but thats why we love this game!
Clark
but avoid any rookies this week
Last chance to still get Parker at great value… JUMP ON!!
Sorry Jock but Sydney will absolutely destroy Carlton tonight a yelp will not even be heard
This game tonight will definitely be banned from Red Tube – what is about to happen to Carlton will be likened to some very explicit and hardcore materials
Hahaha!!
Community which of these two trades???
1. Lonie to Simpson via DPP and swing Higgins forward
2. Lonie to Amon via DPP and swing Bennel forward. That leaves me enough cash to trade TBC to Sauce Jacobs/Mummy
Leaves me with 20 trades. Leaning to trade 2 as TBC is killing me…thoughts appreciated!
Trying the Loop on Cripps tonight ( first time , want to make sure I'm doing it right ) …. do I put Cripps as Emergency , put Lambert on Field . If Cripps goes well leave him there , If not do I put Ellis-Yolmen on field and Lambert back on on bench ?
While I have you …. which one on Field ?
Hogan , Krak or Clark
Thanks !
Gday guys
I have ryder as my f5 atm
What do I do?
Injured and not scoring well
Is it worth just holding him or moving him out?
Yes that’s the correct way to loophole.
I’d field Hogan or Clark
Correct with the loophole.
I'd also field Hogan over Krak and Clark.
Great thanks Sarah and JMG
Which do you think is the best trade to get Rocky. I am a little short of cash to do my preferred trade of T.Adams , so It's either:
option 1:
Cripps to Rocky
only uses one trade but sorry to get rid of Cripps.
Option 2:
C Smith to B Dale (Adams DPP).
T Adams to Rocky.
Leaves me with weak forward line of Swan, D Martin, Bont, Tarrant, Clark, Lonie, Salem and Dale (until I trade in R. Gray later).
Option 1 without any regrets
Thanks Sarah – I will go that way.
Trading Vandenberg last week didn't help my thinking.
And sometimes that'll happen. I traded Vandenberg last week too!! You can't predict something like that.
I have ryder and my f5 atm
Do I offload or bench?
It’s an injury the lingers around for a while
Maybe non of those trades
Hold TBS to the bye rounds
Avoid Amon, not proven yet
upgrade your RUC post bye
save your trades and go BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG like in backseat of Sonata throgh the bye rounds

Public Service Anouncement.
HOLD YOUR TRADES THIS WEEK
Do not Trade out the Bont
Do not bring in these raw, untrustworthy Rookies
Do not trade out Goldstein
Do not be scared to hold trades
Lets just sit back, relax, put our feet up, have a beer, turn the TV on and watch some Supercoach Gold with the knowledge that we have saved our trades and watch our teams flourish.
Thanks mate think I needed that wake up call.
So your saying I shouldn’t trade in Rocky? Everyone has a different sitch
i just updated my speech to include rocky
thanks for the heads up
UNLESS DONT DONT HAVE ROCKY
WE ALL SHOULD HAVE ROCKY
I LOVE ROCKY
"Do not bring in these raw, untrustworthy Rookies"
QUOTE "Consider a high risk move like Heeney to Steele"
A non playing rookie to a rookie that MIGHT get a game does not make sense.
I am painting the fence this week to get in a gun that makes my bye structure look really good.
Karl Amon just like any rookie appears to me that he may get games even though he has been vested in his first 2 games.
This week he is named on field and without Kane Cornes and with Polec being injured for another 5 or 6 weeks appears like a valid selection considering what is available. Amon did okay in the nab cup and has the round 13 bye as well which helps get through the other byes.
Everybody is in a different situation and part of my plan was to trade one gun in this week.
We all have different opinions too I suppose and this is mine.
Deledio or Bennell ?
Lids
Still have Salem and Goodes, better to hold until there are better rookie options in a couple weeks?
How many outs should we have going into round 11 bye? should we look for balance – same number of players out each bye round ?
Personally I'm writing off round 12. and will try and make up points in 11 & 13
t miller -> amon
lonie -> dahlhaus
t/u good idea
t/d bad idea
Will Joel Hamling keep his place in the wb side in the coming weeks?
Is it too late to get Tom Mcdonald in your team????
