Ethan · 19/05/2015 at 21:06

Is mcintosh to lever a no brainer?

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:29

Not a no brainer. Mcintosh has better j/s than Lever as well as scoring output. At 150k with scoring upside similar to Nathan Brown's, only downgrade to him if you're desperate for cash.

      Ethan · 19/05/2015 at 22:04

would like to build up a decent war chest, but rookies are now coming scarce for me. Mcintosh would have been on the bench anyway because jake kelly has been great in the past 2 weeks.

    scrofl · 19/05/2015 at 22:18

I'm personally not getting Lever in, I don't think he'll score well enough to generate enough cash, so I'm saving the trade.

      Ethan · 19/05/2015 at 22:23

fair enough. i just think with jaensch out it opens a spot for someone, whether that be lever or someone else is my only concern
if he pumps out 50's im fine to hold as a bench option

        r2d2 · 19/05/2015 at 23:22

Keep an eye out for wigg

      Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:08

im thinking along the same lines

Deesnuts · 19/05/2015 at 21:07

vandeburg to any midfielder….thinking beams….
lonie to any midfielder

    Josh · 19/05/2015 at 21:11

    Think about Sam mitchell

      derek · 19/05/2015 at 22:14

SMitchell I had from the start, he has done very well, especially while lewis and Hodge have been out. I wouldn't be getting him now. I'm looking at upgrading him very soon.

      scrofl · 19/05/2015 at 22:19

Mitchell will get rested throughout the season, don't pick him. Beams would be a good POD.

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:39

I'd avoid trading in a player with a round 11 bye until afterwards unless it's Rockliff.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:08

Liam · 19/05/2015 at 21:10

Love your stuff Lek.
Would love to hear your thoughts on these trades
Oxley down to Lever for some cash
Then Salem to Titch
Thanks for your help in advance.

    KJU FC · 19/05/2015 at 21:22

    solid trades

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:10

    hold the Ox
    Level low scoring output
    Ox is a good player
Titch is a gun. i like this trade

      MoshedPotatoes · 20/05/2015 at 10:39

I don't think hes talking about Shane Edwards who is a great POD until he killed me this week with the late out.

Josh · 19/05/2015 at 21:12

What’s everyone’s opinions on Sam Mitchell?

No ones really talked about him

But he has avg pretty high the last few weeks

And is cheap for his output I think

    steve · 19/05/2015 at 21:19

probably play back when Lewis and the captain come back

    Robbo · 19/05/2015 at 21:22

Mitchell has been scoring better because Hodge and Lucus are out.

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:34

Don't trade him in! Not a premium mid. When he's more expensive than Selwood, Dangerfield, Rockliff to name a few, not wise to bring him in.

    scrofl · 19/05/2015 at 22:20

He'll play off half back when Lewis and Hodge come back in, and he'll get rested throughout the season. I'd avoid him.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:10

i have gone Kieran Jack instead

      Jonathan · 20/05/2015 at 15:54

Brought Mitchell in two weeks ago and have enjoyed his past two 120 scores, put the C straight onto him until last week when I traded in Fyfe and he took the C. I think he was a player that if you had him, he had to have him at the start

        @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:44

with Hodge and Lewis returning expect a lower output from Mitchel

    theholymullet · 21/05/2015 at 09:44

If you didn't start with him I wouldn't bother. Like others have said, there are better options out there. If you really want to get him consider these point (keeping in mind he's in my team, but I had him from the get go) :
1.) He's old (high chance of injury or resting.
2.) Hawthorn are a good team, but old, minutes are going to be needed to be given to young players this year in the middle.
3.) He does have the capacity to go big and loves to kick, DE% is brilliant.
4.) Even if he doesn't play in the midfield he will rarely go sub 90.

    My opinion:
There are better fallen premiums out there to pick up. Mitchell is high risk.

Tom · 19/05/2015 at 21:17

i only have brown as Bench cover and Im looking at brining in Lever for him

is this too risky?
My plan is too upgrade Lever as soon as I can even if he only gets too around 250k and keep Saad as bench cover unless someone else comes along…

    Swans2012 · 19/05/2015 at 21:22

    Makes sense to me

      Jonathan · 20/05/2015 at 15:54

Adam Saad should be on the ground and deserves to be

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:13

you have already answered your own query

if you can justify your trade and you have a plan then go ahead. i like that you are thinking ahead with your trades

@boltie_monster · 19/05/2015 at 21:25

Thoughts on these, I have next to no money in the bank and vandemberg but cant see a genuine rookie unless glenn returns to downgrade him to:
griffen to rockliff
Sloane to selwood

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:41

    Both trades look good!

      TheCompletePackage · 19/05/2015 at 23:34

      …on paper.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:15

    hold Griffen
and see if you can hold Sloan, rumour is he may be back early. but to generate $$ i like sloan to Rocky and hold Griffen.

My strong advise is hold Griffen until he is your M8. then look to upgrade him last once the rest of your team is solid

      Jonathan · 20/05/2015 at 15:55

      Solid trades

Nicholas · 19/05/2015 at 21:28

Hey Community I have a dilemma this week with only scoring a 2,101 last week and I currently have 21 trades.
Here is my team, not sure what to do this week.
Back- Shaw, Taylor, Oxley, Ibbotson, McIntosh, McKenzie (Lever, Hamling)
Mid- Fyfe, Priddis, Selwood, Griffen, Lewis, Miller, Cripps, Krakouer (Vandenberg, Saad, Ellis-Yolmen)
Ruck- Goldstein, Naitanui ( Read)
Forward- Swan, Goddard, Gray, Martin, Franklin, Tarrant ( Hogan, Clark)
I am currently ranked 8,879 and would really appreciate any advice what to do this week.
Was thinking of Rocky or Parker this week but I only have a lousy $150,300 in the bank.
Thinking of going vand to rockliffe and oxley to pearce to generate some cash. This leaves me with 160k for double upgrade next week. Not sure if I need to bring in Titch howvere.
Thanks for your help.

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:45

If it's Alex Pearce from Freo you're talking about, I wouldn't even consider him. Non existent job security. When Mcpharlin and Dawson come back in the team, he'll be the first one to make way.

      Nicholas · 19/05/2015 at 22:15

well i dont wanna have him drop cash and need cash for next week. if i just dfo i trade i have no money in bank.

        randomcliche · 19/05/2015 at 23:40

Maybe look at the doggie rookie who started with the green vest LekDog mentioned. Could still drop Oxley via DPP Saad. You've clearly gone early on others (lever/mckenzie I assume).

          Nicholas · 20/05/2015 at 01:10

Yeh if glenn is playing i will bring him in

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:17

    1 trade this week

    Vand to Rocky

worry about $$ at the round 11 bye when you can downgrade 3 players in one hit. with the intention of finishing your team byt the r13 bye

if you have to waste trades in a feeble att to get titch then dont do it. you have sorta already missed the boat and if you dont get him this week, look for other options

      Nicholas · 20/05/2015 at 09:20

      So keep oxley?

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:23

        keep the Ox
he is avg the same as most DEF. he has proven he has a high ceiling, and he can make his BE of 90 this week.

        Show faith in the Ox

DEF is the last line i would even consider upgrading

      Nicholas · 20/05/2015 at 09:21

Do u recommend glenn if he plays?

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:24

i have had him since his Debut. looks good, but shaky 2nd game. if he plays i would bring him in for $ generation.

    Jay · 20/05/2015 at 10:20

I would be tempted to go bring in a def fallen premo this week…..Oxely -> Rance/Burgoyne/Bob Murphy type and Vandenberg down to Glenn if named…You'd still keep your Mid/Def DPP link and upgrade in the def line.
Rocky, yes will go up in price this week, but still will be less than 500k so can get him next week

Love that forward line BTW…great scoring potential!!

chevvy · 19/05/2015 at 21:34

Ok, ranked in the top 1% 1945. Now is it worth bringing in rockliff to maintain up there? I

    Boggers · 19/05/2015 at 21:42

he will be very gettable for a couple more weeks .. perhaps wait and see how his output progresses after 2 injury outs.

    Ben · 19/05/2015 at 21:46

He's to cheap to ignore and at 450k there's no risk in picking him. If you don't pick him up and he gets back to old form, unlikely you'll stay in the top 1%

    chris · 19/05/2015 at 22:47

everyone will bring him in and personally i can't see him going big for atleast another 1-2 weeks.. i've moved up to 300th in the ranks atm and that is without the popular players.. personally i can't see rockliff pumping out top 8 midfielder "esk" scores for a while..

i got to 300th by avoiding the trend, has worked for some and not for other players..
didn't get bontempelli, instead got goddard
didnt get t.mitch instead got buddy

and this week instead of getting rockliff (i already have beams which discourages me from getting 2 players from a side that won't win too many games) i am going dangerfield

      Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 00:07

There’s times to avoid the crowd and times to go with the flow. For me rockliffs a flow moment, I think you just go with it. But stick to your gut….then you’ve only got yourself to blame lol

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:19

with a BE of 79. Should he pull out a 120 point week he wont go up that much. everyone is getting him this week and if he does dominate you will lock in a loss against the rest of the SC community. should he pull out a 80-105 point game, then you havent really lost out and you have one more week of SC data to analyse. that said i think like Titch last week, rocky is a must. just think about it… rocky.. at this price… SC Xmas is something we never get, but this is the closest present we will get from SC

      TRIGGER HAPPY · 20/05/2015 at 12:16

If anyone had told u at the start of the year that u could buy rocky cheaper than Neale, titch, bont, blicavs etc u would have asked what gear u smokin and where can I get some? LOCK him in and Chuck away the key! Vanders to Rocky seriously? You are not still thinking about this are you? Surely not. No need to reverse that trade.

MC · 19/05/2015 at 21:38

RYAN “you’re killing me” GRIFFIN

Who has him, what are you doing with him?

Keep him whole season? Cut him loose?

Assume he misses one week.

They need to get Lepptisch down there to have a stern chat to him.

    Sam Loy · 19/05/2015 at 22:16

I've got other fish to fry this week.
And I'll think I'll hold on to him until I've got full premo team.
Then he's the first to go.
Or I may rage trade him to Rockliff next week.

      MC · 19/05/2015 at 22:25

lol, he is destined to be rage traded at some point. He’s like that disappointing child of the family. How long can we pretend to love him for.

He stays for now, cant wait to disown him though.

      CJay · 19/05/2015 at 22:25

I trade Griffen out on a Monday as it makes me feel better.
Then reverse trade on Thursday after teams are announced to concentrate on what's more important.

        r2d2 · 19/05/2015 at 23:26

I have done that twice just out of anger !!! Haha ,, then placed him back in my team

        randomcliche · 19/05/2015 at 23:42

        bhahaha. Love it. 🙂

        MC · 20/05/2015 at 13:21

Ha, it actually soothes the anger for a few days.

    derek · 19/05/2015 at 22:17

keeping him. He is a premium player. Unless he gets injured and is out for 3weeks +

      MC · 19/05/2015 at 22:26

Is he though? Is he really..

        r2d2 · 19/05/2015 at 23:27

I want too have him when he pumps out consistent 130s … It will happen surely

    SuperCoach kid · 19/05/2015 at 22:40

Needs to be held, the bloke can play and can score.
I know the week I trade, is the week he puts out a 150+

You picked him for a reason, keep him

      throttlefinger · 20/05/2015 at 06:18

Good point although the reason may be that he was a way to bring Gaz as protection if he was truly healed. Some are keeping him on the bench, which is fair enough.

Premium mids keepers should not be this up and down. Defs we have that tolerance. Mids is the engine room. Would say it will be very unlikely that he gets 105+ average.

Agree with Lek. It's not a sideways as much as it is an upgrade. Griff is on his way down in his career. Rockliff on his way up. Toss him if he's the worst of your problems.

        LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:23

        Listen to this man!

    Rocksta · 19/05/2015 at 23:35

I know how you feel MC.

Problem is he is capable of premium scoring and as such I’m going to keep him until I have at least achieved full premo ( estimated at around rd 13).

If he hasn’t improved his average to 100 by then, he’s Gone!!!!!!
Anyhow, I’ve got Nic Nat and I reckon he’ll be rage traded before the Griff Dog

      MC · 20/05/2015 at 13:18

He would be great as a bench player and use the emergency loop hole, to get this mythical 130+, and skip the weekly bleeding.

It is just going to be a struggle to get full premium without making a few tough calls on the 400k players.

Ive got nic nat and boak… and danger, between the 4 of them its a nightmare.

Anyways interesting to hear what everyone is doing with him, consensus seems to be too hold onto him.

Check back in after the bye rounds

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:21

    i dont have him.
but if you do i say HOLD

i went with Andrew Swallow, coz i thought the kangas would be pushing for top 4. and i thought as a POD from Griffen Swallow was a sure thing. he is killing my team, but we must HOLD our fallen premos.

      Hazey · 20/05/2015 at 19:39

I’ve got Swallow floating about too… What ate you thinking with his hand injury listed as 1-3 weeks?

        @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:42

i had a look on the North Melbourne website and Swallow gave an interview.
he has had surgery on Monday and he reckons he should definetly be right by next week, so a 1 week absence. PLUS kangas have a sunday game so im holding

    Jezza · 20/05/2015 at 09:49

How bloody annoying is he!!! I'm holding him, just holding out for that one game of the year he will go mental

3. votes · 19/05/2015 at 21:49

was thinking, Ryan griffen to Beams and Lumumba to Rockliff via dpp toughts? better options for beams not worried about cash??

    mcleal10 · 19/05/2015 at 22:16

Beams is a fine pick. I think the trades are fine.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:21

    hold the prince
    hold griffen
    get beams
    get rocky

James · 19/05/2015 at 21:53

Hi Community,

Thoughts on this trade,
Cam Elllis Yolmen to Rockliff and Lonie to Lambert. Will end up having 280k in the bank after trade.
I Have Miller, Saad and Krakouer as only other rookie midfield options that I could trade if you don't think Yolmen is the best option. Or even Griffen but thinking should just hold this week.

Appreciate your thoughts

    derek · 19/05/2015 at 22:18

Lambert?? why would you consider him?

CEY has plenty more cash to make, hold him. You must have someone else to trade, or swing lonie to mid to trade him to Rocky

      Jackson · 20/05/2015 at 10:42

for a mid fwd swing with Krakouer

Murray · 19/05/2015 at 21:53

Who is the better long term prospect between Parker, Rockliff or Mitchell ?

    mcleal10 · 19/05/2015 at 22:15

Lomg term would be Parker and Rockliff. Parker will defeintely be in the top 5 forwards this year, where Rockliff may just miss out.

      Christo · 19/05/2015 at 23:04

      Parker isn’t a fwd. he’s a mid.

      Donavan · 19/05/2015 at 23:19

Parker is only eligible in the mid-field this year. Still a valid selection, but he is a mid.

      Pat · 20/05/2015 at 00:07

Parkers only a midfielder this year, might want to reconsider him

        TRIGGER HAPPY · 20/05/2015 at 12:46

Saw what he is capable of on the weekend. Still a top 8 mid for mine.

    randomcliche · 19/05/2015 at 23:44

T Mitchell or S Mitchell? Doesn't matter though both are worse than Parker and Rocky who are both close. But Rocky is cheaper so heaps better value.

mcleal10 · 19/05/2015 at 21:56

Got two trade possibilities this week.
Should I trade Vandenberg to Gray and M.Clark to Rockliff?
I have thought hard about the rockliff trade and I'm still uncertain if it is good.

    Traderlyf · 19/05/2015 at 23:37

those are very good trades IMO

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:30

Two rookies out, two keepers in. Perfect!

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:24

    amazing trades
    do it

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:39

Lock those trades in right now.

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 20/05/2015 at 12:22

No need to reverse trade on those. Great trades.

conor · 19/05/2015 at 22:00

Rockliff to griffen, swallow or cripps

    derek · 19/05/2015 at 22:19

I see swallow has broken his thumb, out for about 3 weeks.

CJay · 19/05/2015 at 22:10

Great vid as always Lek.
Think you have convinced me to get Rocky in this week rather than waiting to next.
Taking another look at it,T.Rockliff $447k. Wow pay 450k,,, keep the change thanks.

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:25

The time for Rocky is now (had he not been this cheap I never would have selected him however)

Sam Loy · 19/05/2015 at 22:18

A trading strategy question, community.

There’s a couple of players I missed out before R1 that I think I should go after (Goldstein and Fyfe).
Although at the moment they seem to be just about at their ceiling price.
I could afford one of them this week and another next week.

Or is it more important to pick up fallen premiums (i.e. Jacobs and Rocky)?
Buy the gold from Collins St, or go prospecting in Ballarat?

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:26

i cant believe you dont have Fyfe! that hurts.. i wouldnt worry about Goldstein, however if you dont have Fyfe, i would copncentrate on building your team without him. He is mega expensive. If you can build your whole DEF MID and FWD line without Fyfe, then look to upgrade your final M8 position to Fyfe i would encourage this.

      The Ranger · 20/05/2015 at 09:41

I'm in the same boat Sam.
I have the chance to grab him this week by going one up and one down but have chosen to get Rocky and Parker rather than Fyfe and a rookie.
The thinking being that the quicker I get to a full team of keepers the better.
Still hoping to get Fyfe at some point around the byes but right now the reduced price premos are too good to miss.

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:59

yea i like your thinking. 2 premos = more scoring output than a ultra premo + rookie

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:38

    Sam love the analogy.

Rocky and Fyfe are musts and should be your priority. For scoring upside go Fyfe this week, for $$ benefit go Rocky.

If you do not have Goldy he will be about 30K cheaper either next week or week after, or you could jump on Sauce or Mummy now.

Chrissovan · 19/05/2015 at 22:22

i personally think it’s a good week to fix an issue with your team.

For me, it’s lumumba- I’m going straight to either murphy or tmac.

Then I’ll upgrade vanderberg to rocky

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:26

hold the prince. DEF line upgrades are a last concern

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:26

I think Murph will have a down week this week, should drop some cash for you

Girdle · 19/05/2015 at 22:24

Agree on all points there, Lekdog. Rockliff a must-have but doesn’t have to be this week. Still a fair price next week.

No word on Josh Glenn? He’d be on the bubble if named

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:26

No word but teams drop tonight!

Ryan · 19/05/2015 at 22:28

    Ryan · 19/05/2015 at 22:28

Liam · 19/05/2015 at 22:38

My trades this week:

Swallow to Selwood
Vandenberg to Rockliff

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:05

Swallow injured and under performing, Vabdenberg has peaked. Bringing in two keepers, all good!

    Sarah · 20/05/2015 at 09:21

    Awesome trades!

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:27

i have Swallow ( if your talking about the kangas player )
    i say hold on him

      @TheNoLanguage · 20/05/2015 at 13:31

I wouldn't be holding Swallow, could be out for a couple and isn't SC relevant this year with his happy handball style. Good trade.

SuperCoach kid · 19/05/2015 at 22:41

Prince/Macintosh > lever
Vdb > rocky

Good trades? Will leave me 330k to double upgrade next week

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:28

I'd rather you painted the fence or just went VBD to Rocky, not sure Lever is a must

Georgie · 19/05/2015 at 23:23

What to do with Lonie, if he is named or if he isn’t?

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:19

Trade him out. BE of 100 and 80+ next week means he’s dead weight.

      BKW · 20/05/2015 at 08:39

He will likely miss this week – but agree you might want to trade before he plays next game as his value has peaked (unless you are keeping him for sub cover)

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:31

Thank him for his service and say goodbye.

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:28

I'll likely lock in a loss and just keep him on the bench, large stretch from Lonie to anyone decent

Matt · 19/05/2015 at 23:30

oxley to lever
vandenburg to rockliff, thoughts on this trade ?

    BKW · 20/05/2015 at 08:44

I’ve got the same trades pencilled in

Definitely doing VBerg –> Rocky (no brainier)

Then strongly considering Oxley/Brown –> Lever

Trading Oxley to Lever would leave around $280k next week for Selwood and possibly another upgrade, most likely in defence

Trading Brown would leave only $150 in the kitty (but gives me a better on field player this round assuming saad is still out)

    Thoughts community??

Traderlyf · 19/05/2015 at 23:39

Mcintosh -> Yeo
Sloane -> Rockliff

Wanted to go sloane to JPK but was 10k off…

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:20

    McIntosh – Thurlow &
    Sloane – JPK ??

Rocky will still be affordable next week

      Traderlyf · 20/05/2015 at 08:20

i really like the looks of Yeo thats my problem :/

        Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 13:09

I like the Yeo and rocky option, Yeo better proposition than Thurlow imo.

Mister_Spock · 20/05/2015 at 00:49

G'day community, had a horror run with my mids this year! I need to get Rocky in and would love to squeeze in Parker if possible, but struggling to work out who to trade out:

MIDS: Fyfe, Beams, Sloane, Griffen, Bont, Rich, Cripps, Miller (Vandenberg, CEY, McKenzie)

$127,200 in the bank

Easy option is Sloane > Rocky and Griffen > Parker, leaves me with $138K still in the war chest.

The dilemma I have is that ideally I need to ditch Vandenberg as he's dropping in value, and I'm reluctant to get rid of Sloane and sideways trade for another premo.

I'm $400 short of being able to go Griffen>Rockliff and Vandenberg>Titch! I know a lot of people will be bringing him in, but perhaps Kieren Jack is a better option for less (lets me hang onto Sloane for another week until his injury time becomes clearer)

SHOAL option for me is Sloane > Rockliff and Vandenberg > Titch

SHARK = Sloane > Rockliff and Vandenberg > Treloar OR Kieren Jack

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:22

Griffen and Vandenberg are the two that leap out. If Yolmen doesn’t come up soon then he’s an option as well

      Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:24

      Sloane and Vandenberg!! My mistake.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:29

can you put the BONT into your FWD line and upgrade a FWD rookie to Rocky??

      Mister_Spock · 20/05/2015 at 11:12

Potentially, but I only have Tarrant, Clark and Krakouer available to upgrade and they haven't fattened enough for me to be able to afford Rocky and they're all cheaper than Vandenberg at this stage.

Leaning towards Sloane > Rockliff and Vendenberg > Treloar as POD

Feeling like I've missed the boat on Titch, and as Lekdog says, his security is a worry.

Alternatively I can just afford Griffen > Rockliff and Vendenberg > Kieren Jack

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 11:16

i suggest culling Clarke. He hasnt fattened up 100% but with his personal issues and injury probability i would cull him. and putting Bont in your Fwd line and turning Clarke into a Premo is a LOCK move.

Then you could swap Vandenburg for Rocky and hold Sloan for one more week. imagine if he comes back??? or, you just trade Sloan next week and you havent lost anything.

either way i reckon you should hold Griffen.

        so many options

          Mister_Spock · 20/05/2015 at 13:10

Thanks Wheels – would love to cull both Clark and Vandenberg, but don't have the cash to upgrade to two premos, even with Rocky's price drop. Need all of my spare salary cap and Vandenberg just to get Rocky.

Donavan · 20/05/2015 at 01:07

What's up with Kade Simpson, I selected him from the start, and was convinced he would be a top 6 defender. Up until a few weeks ago I still believed he would be top 6.

Do we know how long Simpson will be out?, and does the community consider him a possible top 6 defender ?

    Girdle · 20/05/2015 at 03:23

Once again he’s listed as ‘test’. Wait for selection on Thursday night

    Harrison · 20/05/2015 at 07:27

he will be back this round, says on the cartlon website

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:29

    i would hold

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:30

Think you gotta hold but won't be top 6

shezza · 20/05/2015 at 05:01

I have traded Cripps and Vandenberg for Parker and Rockliff.i still have EOY so hoping he gets picked. I have Ablett and one other premium mid to get in or after the byes

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:30

    looking good!

shezza · 20/05/2015 at 05:02

I have Hogan and Salem on my fwd bench too. Will hold until a fwd rookie comes in.i need to calm down and save trades

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:30

Glorin · 20/05/2015 at 05:11

I personally have never picked him and don't consider him top 6 this year. Don't know if it is based on my dislike for Carlton or the fact that just about every player at Carlton is soft And I don't rate them. Have Cripps and his play one week, gun, to miss the next with a bit of a sore calf, late out spud, demonstrates how they work at Carlton.

    Ethan · 20/05/2015 at 07:26

Those who have him including me have seen him rise 220k

      SC Virgin · 20/05/2015 at 12:52

Isn’t that the biggest price to rise of any rookie? If not it is close and he is going at 100.think I may hang onto the extractor a bit longer.

    PADP · 20/05/2015 at 13:18

You are a dill mate. Always trade with your head and not your heart. Am not a Carlton person but Cripps has probably been the best rookie and may even be a keeper.

AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 06:26

Are we trading out Oxley this week? Says he will lose cash the next couple of weeks?

    Ethan · 20/05/2015 at 07:25

BE of 95 this week his big scores have dropped out of his 3 week average. If you can upgrade do it but dont downgrade, its not worth harming your scoring potential if you just want cash

      AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 07:56

yeah If I trade him out I was going to upgrade! But I think I need to dump Hunt first?

        BKW · 20/05/2015 at 08:48

Yep exactly – could downgrade oxley to lever but it hurts scoring potential in short term – would need another upgrade in defence next week to offset the loss (although saad will be back by then)

        Pros and Cons either way

          AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 09:39

Yeah….I have Saad to was hoping he would be back this week!

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:28

He has done his job, should be gone either this week or next, depending on your trading options and strategy.

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 09:30

i reckon he will make his BE this week. Hold

      Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 13:14

Yep will score this week I reckon, maybe not break even but close

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 13:19

Collingwood playing Gold Coast. If he is gunna break 100pt + hopefully its this week

    PADP · 20/05/2015 at 13:21

Rookies do not make cash every week. Some plateau and are servicable for many weeks. People act on what the so called expects write and, they are often wrong. Be patient. Oxley will be fine for a while yet.

Jim · 20/05/2015 at 08:09

I have Hogan, Salem, Lonie, McIntosh, Vandenberg and Oxley who I'm thinking need to go soon. I was going to go Vandenberg and Salem to Lever and a premo mid. Who should I get? Already have Fyfe, JPK, Parker, Selwood Beams. Then next week it's Cripps to Rocky and hopefully downgrade Lonie to someone. Are these good trades? Or have I traded out the wrong rookies this round?

    nathan · 20/05/2015 at 08:27

Salem will be out this week so wont lose any cash this week
    Oxley and vandenberg for me

    Tony · 21/05/2015 at 16:34

Get Pendlebury and you're looking good.

Leon · 20/05/2015 at 08:22

Should I trade out Oxley, K Mac or Clark this round? Or should I hold all. And who should I be bringing in?

    nathan · 20/05/2015 at 08:26

Yiull need to trade oxley mate
B/E over avg so he’ll need to go

      AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 08:39

I think you should keep clark….I think he has good game against Carlton

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:10

    keep Ox and Kmac

good job sec and having a nice warm body on the DEf line is crucial.

nathan · 20/05/2015 at 08:26

Possible trades this week are

Griffen and oxley out with rocky and docherty in with 9k left

Or salem and oxley out with treloar and glenn/lever/strech in with 150/200k left
Thinking of keeping griff till the byes or at least next week
Just not sure yet
Think trade 2 coz it opens the trade potential in coming weeks
With saad and cey most likely back this week id be happy to have glenn on the pine and not play for a week or two but thats only if he has a half decent J/S
Whats some thoughts?

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:27

The idea of keeping Griff is a solid one, but I think Rocky is a must, so any strategy that can allow both to happen whilst maintaining a bit of a bank is very sound.

    Tophawk · 20/05/2015 at 09:31

I like option one by a country mile. Rocky at 447K is a no brainer for Griffen. That is the trade I have made this week. Griffen as far as I am concerned is a liability and a cause of stress in your team. Just too inconsistent. I like Oxley to Docherty as well. Value for money move I reckon. I had a bit more cash and went Salem to Liam Picken. Both Brisbane and Carlton have byes in round 11. Most teams need a few extra players out in round 11 to reduce the amount of guys out in round 12 and 13.

These trades could potentially be "bye" friendly for you too.

Tony · 20/05/2015 at 08:39

anybody considering Stevie J????

    AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 08:44

No way…..I wouldnt touch him he is a MRP magnet and was lucky he didnt get reported last week

      BKW · 20/05/2015 at 08:51

Not for me – too inconsistent, coming towards end if career, too prone to brain fades

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:10

i was, but cant ignore rocky

AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 08:40

I'm thinking of Trading Hunt for Yeo? Is this a good trade….thoughts please?

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:12

It is sideways, its risky, Yeo on the up with role change, if you think he can maintain a 90-95+ average for the remainder of the year, pull the trigger.

Although consider that you are only $40K of some proven defenders.

      AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 09:27

      What about Thurow???

        AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 09:29

I'm only think Yeo and Thurow because their averages are much higher/DPP's and making money and Hunt has just bleed money since week 3?? Either I trade Oxley who I think I wanna wait a week he might do well against GCFC and probably wont lose to much?

          General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:43

Thurlow very similar to Yeo but has been more consistent against some better teams and with Duncan out more midtime JS. Thurlow more tempting at the price.

            AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 09:56

Hmmmmm ok Thanks! Duncan is suppose to be out like 10-12 weeks too. Just might gamble with Thurow??? Hunt isnt doing me any good!

              AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 09:57

And Tigers play @ Port this weekend and Port will be on a mission I think?

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:09

    dont go Yeo !!!

      General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 10:11

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:14

He is not a proven SC player
He is DEF line and we should be looking to finalise our FWD and MID lines as a Priority
If, for whatever reason, you feel you really need to upgrade in DEF there are so many better options

          General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 11:49

          Counter argument is though…

          Role Change since round 4.
Since round 4 going at 110 average, 98 if you take out his 146
Attended 58% of bounces since round 4 up from 8% from rounds 1-3, 2nd only to Priddis

Whilst I am not bringing him in because it messes with my trading strategy, those considering him could do worse.

As I said in my original reply for only a few $$ more some proven defenders are available and I would prefer people chose them.

If Yeo is still pumping out good scores regularly I will be happy to pay top $ for him later.

            Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 12:06

yea you cannot argue with those stats and he defineltly has a role change.
i would prefer the following players as they have dropped in price and represent great value

            M.Hurley or

But thats the beauty of this game and this community.
            so many options and opinions.

              General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 12:51

Agreed, it is why we love it.

            r2d2 · 20/05/2015 at 14:18

Last week I got Yeo and Parker for lumumba and rich , worked out nicely

      Harry · 20/05/2015 at 22:18

I'm putting Yeo in this week and influenced by my best mate who supports Eagles. Yeo has taken over Wellingham's midfield role and apparently Simpson loves him. I liked him pre season and tossed up between Geary and Yeo and chose the wrong option. My bad. Backs have been unreliable all year and for his price think it's a solid option

        @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:39

i hope for your sake that you can look back and laugh at me for disagreeing

        but i like your ball

you have big ball and if you can justify any of your selections then its a good selection

    jacob · 20/05/2015 at 10:21

Take the punt if you feel he'll be top ten defender. He has huge upside and I'm convinced he'll play a heap of midfield throughout the year. I'm taking the punt even tough I know it's a risk. Just remember those who were Tom McDonald owners in round 1 were called stupid, sometimes you just got to go against the crowd and back your decision.

      Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 13:21

Yep, I reckon worth a stab. Everyone putting defense on the back burner means if you pick one of these guys (Yeo Thurlow) and get it right you could really pull some points off those in front.

hoc90 · 20/05/2015 at 08:49

My midfield is pretty much settled (barring serious injury), one spot left… Selwood or Rockliff?

Geniunely can't split them. #help

    AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 08:52

Selwood he plays Carlton this week I think he goes off the hook!!! Think you can wait a week on Rocky!

    Tophawk · 20/05/2015 at 09:23

If you only have one spot left, then I would go Rockliff. Lions have won two in a row, Rocky is laying plenty of tackles again which tells me his ribs are coming good and at 447K it has to be the bargain of the year at a be of 80 this week.

    Just my take

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:09

i have selwood and he is killing me this season

    PADP · 20/05/2015 at 13:28

You have settled your midfield far too early. I hate to think how many trades you have used and we gave played only Six Supercoach games. There are many good midfielders to come up yet including Ablett. However to put you out of your misery – Rockcliffe like 100% of supercoachers will do this week. He will easily achieve his BE of 80.

General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 09:10

Great vid again Lek, which could only be improved by a bowler hat!

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:08

or a band-aid on the face – nelly style

Andrew · 20/05/2015 at 09:51

Ox or Lumumba out for Tmac?

    AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 10:05

    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 10:08

why upgrade you DEF line now??
get your MID and FWD lines right first

      KJU FC · 20/05/2015 at 11:04

      whys that wheels?

for some people like me who have 3 rookies on field, upgrading defence is the smartest option?

        Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 11:11

I hear what your saying but if your not getting donuts in DEF line you must upgrade your other lines. FWD and MID ( and even RUC ) average over 100 points. this is rare in DEF especially this season so look for points.

Regardless if your going for rank or League wins it would be hard to justify DEF upgrades, especially this week with the likes of Titch, Rockliff, Jack, Mummy, Jacobs available

Tmac is just too expensive for a DEF option.

          KJU FC · 20/05/2015 at 11:17

you make a good point wheels.

My problem though is that DEF is my weakest line with Brown, Mckenzie, Hamling and Lever(assuming he gets named).

this week I will be downgrading V-Berg to Lever and swing Mckenzie into the mids and then I will be upgrading Brown to someone like Docherty/Rance.

I already have strong Rucks in Mummy and Goldy and have no forward line rookies ready to be culled.

I plan to get Rocky in next week for Cripps/Griffen as I am still not 100% on him for this week.

            Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 11:24

If your hell bent on DEF line upgrade i would personally suggest the following players as they are super value.

These players are higher ranked DEF players who have dropped a decent amount of value.

            Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 11:25

            M.Hurley or

            are also great selections

              KJU FC · 20/05/2015 at 11:29

              will definitely consider them.

If I were to upgrade my forward line who should I be looking at getting in? Already have franklin, gray, martin and swan.

is there any good options besides Goddard and Titch?

                Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 11:35

Goddard and Titch are amazing players but good value can be found in

these are the players i would be looking at

my way of playing is to always look for value. players under perfoming who loose cash, but who i beleive can re-capture form and re-generate their lost $$$

i was going to do a POD last week and go A.Christensen last week over titch.

im glad i didnt, but everyone knows A.Christensen can play. He is a DPP FWD/MID and has lost $67k

Only owned by 1.7% of teams, so hes one to also watch closely

                  Andrew · 20/05/2015 at 12:19

I disagree, you deal with your biggest weakness and where you see the most value. I slipped 100 ranks this week down to 240ish and my weakness came in my backline, Tmac is consistent value, which we're not getting from many players in the backline atm. $525 for a player scoring what he scores is a bargain regardless of what position he plays!

                    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 12:24

You pay 525$ for Tmac then when you can get the following players

                    35. Selwood, J
                    $532,200 $-25,200 ($-117,700) '

                    36. Mumford, S
                    $532,000 $+18,400 ($-81,700

You're chasing last years points with some of them mate, but each to their own.

                    Wheels1987 · 20/05/2015 at 13:44

Dog who chase car get exhausted.

                    You chase Tom Mac
                    You get very exhausted

                    Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 16:57

I think it’s more complicated than just picking the highest average for that price wheels, it’s the difference between the rookie score and the premo score that’s important, cey and Cripps are doing fine onfield for now whereas k Macintosh or brown scoring 50’s is not. It’s about the point scoring differential….

                    Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 17:06

That said I’d look at a yeo type player before spending the big $$$ on macd

Hally · 20/05/2015 at 10:15

Looking to bring Tmac in for mcintosh, but would it be better to bring in a cheaper option like Yeo, or Thurlow so I have money for a trade from nicnat to Goldstein next week?

    AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 10:18

Not sure I have evaluated Yeo and Thurow as well and some say no … I'm kind of torn what to do? Tmac sucks up a lot of cash on a trade but he going to be a lot higher in a few week.

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:33

    I like Thurlow

murray · 20/05/2015 at 10:48

I have TBC as R2 who is not giving me enough output. This week should I fix up my ruck problem first before going to Rockliff?

mye two options this week are
1. trade out TBC and bring in Jacobs (also need to trade out vandenberg for Dale)

2. trade out vandenberg and heeney for Rockliff and Glenn/ or Dale

Which is the priority at the moment? I could wait for rockliff because I dont think he will go up all that much this week whilst I think Jacobs will

    BillyT · 20/05/2015 at 12:11

I have the same dilemma this week. I'm thinking you can wait another week to see how Rockliff scores. He could go large against Essendon, but he will still be good value to pick up next week.

    I would say Jacobs, B/E is 55.

      murray · 20/05/2015 at 13:12

I kind of agree with this

    JMG · 20/05/2015 at 12:36

Can you swing TBC to fwd line as cover as Lek suggested (if u have a ruck fwd rook on ruck bench).
Ie trade Hogan/ Salem for Jacobs sub TBC forward

      murray · 20/05/2015 at 13:11

understand about TBC but dont have salem or hogan to trade out. In order to generate the necessary cash I would have to trade out Ellis Yolman, Saad or Cripps. They all have a bit $ more to make

Sana · 20/05/2015 at 11:08

Just want to raise a few thoughts about Tom Rockliff.

Obviously he's had a tough season injury wise, but just wondering people's thoughts on whether he'll reach last years lofty standards (or even full premo mid level) if he regains his health. I'll only compare his last two games as before that he has had injuries to deal with etc.

He's tackling like last year with 9 in each of the last 2 (avg 9.1 last year) so that doesn't play into his lower scores – and means he's not holding back. Last season he averaged 32 disposals – in the last 2 games he's managed 19. This means he needs to gain 13 disposals (approx half kicks and half handballs) every game to reach last years level. Is he going to get anywhere near last years disposals with Beams, Rich, Christensen and others now lining up for a slice of the pill?

I agree at 447K he's a good buy, but not sure he'll be averaging anywhere near 132. But will he average the approx 110 form here on to make him a top 8 midfielder? Maybe he'll manage a few more touches once he's fully fit (says he's playing with some pain from the lung injury). But if he's not at that 110+ standard I'm wary of bringing him in… the communities thoughts would be much appreciated!

    Ethan · 20/05/2015 at 11:26

100% agree, we see that he is around the footy but his lack of possessions is what is going to let him down. We should wait till he gets over 100 before making any rash decisions. Since we dont want players who average only 95 as our m8

      Sana · 20/05/2015 at 14:14

If he starts pulling out 110+ scores I'll happily pay 550k knowing what I'm getting. Will wait til after his round 11 bye before considering I think. Will be tough to leave hm if he rips out a big one this week though…

        Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 17:17

Hahahhaha rockliff averaging 95 from here is laughable. Seriously stop over thinking it, the last time I had broken ribs I still was in pain laughing a month on, this guys been playing afl God dam football, and throw in a concussion, and your worried he’s not getting enough pill??? And as far as all the new talent goes at brissy, have a look at the swans midfield, plenty of points to go round there, and how about when beams, Swan and pendle were all top 8 mids in the one season in the same team (pretty sure too lazy to triple check). Will average 110+ if they don’t win another game, more if they start to string a couple together….

          Sana · 20/05/2015 at 18:33

Must be nice to be so certain. Fair point on the Swans and Pies, but they are/were premiership level sides – well oiled machines. There's no doubt the reason he's not getting the same stats is the injuries, but thats just it! He's playing injured…

            Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 19:20

That’s WAS playing injured, that rib’ll be starting to feel fine, the concussion clouds will be clearing and bang, rocky of old. yeah better oiled machines those teams but plenty of pie to go around for quality players even in heavy losses

              Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 19:21

And I’m always certain on a Wednesday, the doubt comes as it all goes horribly wrong on a Saturday….

                Sana · 20/05/2015 at 19:34

haha, after all this over thinking I'll probably lock him in anyway, just discussing the niggling doubts. thanks for your thoughts blokes.

                  Swans2012 · 20/05/2015 at 20:03

Talking about it is the highlight of the week! How’s your ranking tracking Sava? Just interested, I’ve bombed from 12000 three weeks ago to 1600 on the back of my last four trades. Hence the confidence and hence the expectation of disaster this week!

    @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:46

    Get Him
    Get Now
    Sleep Well

this is good Panama Childrens Story

    Tony · 21/05/2015 at 16:42

Like many others, I am very confident Rocky will get back to his normal possessions very soon. Rich has been there for years and is a seagull – has never affected Rocky's possessions. Bundy is a forward and he's lazy, will have no impact on Rocky. Beams is a machine, but so was Redden until last year – no incremental effect on Rocky's possessions. There's no certainties in SC, but Rocky is brilliant value on the balance of probabilities.

He doesn't have to average in the top 8 mids over the season, only for the period that you have him.

Sarah · 20/05/2015 at 11:11

This week's trade plans:

Griffin to Rockliff (I'm so over Griffin and agree with Lekdog that he's not a premium anymore and that this trade is now an upgrade)
Vandenberg to Glenn (if named – otherwise Lever)

Then next week the plan is:

Hogan to Dahlhaus/Martin
Cripps to Rance/Birchall

This will leave me with a very balanced team heading into the byes and a defence and forward swing set in the midfield.
Hopefully there's no major injuries or poor scores which will put a dent in these plans like last week!!

Other than picking off the odd rookie downgrade, I'll then be holding trades til the byes.

    Sarah · 20/05/2015 at 12:45

And the spanner in the works has just arrived with Sinclair being relegated back to the rookie list!! Might have to trade him now instead of Griffin to keep bench cover… bugger.

    TRIGGER HAPPY · 20/05/2015 at 13:05

Nice to see someone thinking along the same lines re rance/birch. 🙂

Mister_Spock · 20/05/2015 at 11:13

Sloane > Rocky and Vendenberg > Treloar

Griffen > Rocky and Vendenberg > Kieren Jack?

Kieren is cheaper and a safer option than Titch IMO

    Danners16 · 20/05/2015 at 12:39

1st, Sloane is out for a while

Jesse · 20/05/2015 at 11:18

Sloane – Selwood

Vandenberg – Rockliff

TBC – Mummy (Ruck2)

Sloane – Rockliff

Thoghts please commuity..

Do not have quite enough for Vandy – Rockliff & TBC – Mummy

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 11:25

    Option 2 for mine.

      Jesse · 20/05/2015 at 12:24

Rick Grimes · 20/05/2015 at 11:27

    Sarah · 20/05/2015 at 11:58

I like Heppell. I have too many round 12 bye players though so will potentially be looking to pick him up after his bye.

Brent · 20/05/2015 at 11:32

Thoughts on potential downgrades community? I've decided that Rockliff is coming in for vandenberg this week but in order to do that I also have to downgrade a rookie. Which of these options do you think would be best

OPTION 1: Lonie – Dale
OPTION 2: Newton – Glenn
OPTION 3: Lever/Dick – Oxley/McIntosh

All thoughts appreciated

    Danners16 · 20/05/2015 at 12:39

Option 1, Lonie has a very high breakeven

Do I trade him to rocky or another premium now

    BKW · 20/05/2015 at 11:55

    Yep swap him for Rocky

    Danners16 · 20/05/2015 at 12:38

    SideBySidebottom · 20/05/2015 at 22:30

Maybe Cox or Dick for Swallow.

Stevie · 20/05/2015 at 11:35

Hey community,

Good stuff as always lekdog. This week im taking a closer look at bringing in Selwood instead of rocky, still want to see one more good game from rocky and next week could be straight swap for cripps, thoughts?

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 12:52

    Solid plan.

    @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:48

if you have the warchest then go for it
i have selwood and he is bleeding my cash all over the supercoach floor

but i love him and wouldnt have it any other way.

If Rocky scores 110 even then he wont gain a HUGE amount of value so if you can, its worth paying that cash for another week of data

i wish i had a bigger warchest, but i dont so im getting him this week (fingers crossed)

Gareth · 20/05/2015 at 11:39

Thoughts on Stevie J as a short-term cash generator? Is he past it or is he more reliable than Rocky in putting in a couple of weeks of good scores to get to a super premium before the business end of the SC season?

    General Soreness · 20/05/2015 at 12:51

Only bring him in if you see him as a keeper. Rookies generate cash better.

    @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:49

i think last week was the week to get him.
better options now, but as always.. if you can justify it, then do it

mcleal10 · 20/05/2015 at 12:02

My forward line is full with premiums. My midfield is close and my defence is far off. Should I be looking to upgrade some down back during byes or a mixture?

    @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:50

    my thoughts are strongly this

FWD RUC and MID 1st always!!!!

    leave DEF until absolutly LAST

im very passionate about this. back in the day we had GIBBS and LIDs and all these other Premo DEF/MIDS

those days are gone like the 90's boy bands

Tom.McV · 20/05/2015 at 12:23

Salem is out for 3-4 weeks, he is on my bench, who do I get in for him? I'm trying to make money, so a downgrade bench player

    LEKD0G · 21/05/2015 at 01:36

could hold until Dale on bubble

      @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:52

      i like this option.

Or if you have an open spot on the FWD line and you have Shaun HIGGINS

SWap Salem for Higgins and trade Lever into DEF

then next week trade Higgns back into DEF and upgrade Kmac or Ox for a premo FWD

Don · 20/05/2015 at 12:34

Rockliff or JPK in this week? Both with similar BEs

Danners16 · 20/05/2015 at 12:37

Great stuff Lek!. Community, who would be the best forward under $470k? T.Mitchell looks the obvious answer, but uncertain on job security, injury risk, sub risk? I like the look of M.Pavlich though, has he wound back the clock?

you must wait for Gray, too expensive

get Rocky now, then re-evalutate on Gray

Worst case scenario Gray will go another +50k for the season

Worst case for Rocky is a +$200k increase for the season

    Rocky now, Gray post bye

AMERICANMAGPIE1 · 20/05/2015 at 13:21

Vandenberg to Rockliff
Hogan to Betts

Yeah ……He's playing off the hook to and for 500k not a bad price. With all the injuries in ADL he;'s really benefited.

            Sarah · 20/05/2015 at 14:53

He was playing through the middle for short stints during the preseason, before the injuries. Think it's more a permanent move by Walsh that's led to his increase in scores.

    @wheels_1987 · 21/05/2015 at 08:59

    Big Ball Call
Possibly biggest POD selection for the season

    One reason why i like.
    Oppostion MUST go to WALKER
Betts jsut runs around and dominates

I really like it, i wouldnt do it if your going for top 100 rank, but in all other situations this looks like a big risk Vs Reward trade and could set up your season

Mine was trading Minson for Lobbe and so far it has bitten my ass, but fingers crossed

Taylor, Gibson, Higgins, James Kelly, A Saad, Hunt, (Kmac, Hamling)
Fyfe, Kennedy, Lewis, Rich, Motlop, CEY, Krakouer, Titch, (Vandenberg, Dmac, Cockatoo,
Goldie, Blitz, (Cox)
Betts, Swan, walker, Gray, Thomas, Clark, (Salem, Hogan)

I'm wanting to bring in Rocky next week and possibly Thurlow. Dropping Hogan and Hunt.
