Supercoach 2015We’re doing it for James Kelly’s testicle tonight community.

But while we all come to terms with the horrors that James has endured this week – we must face the cold hard reality of this game – and the fact that the show must go on.
Cam Ellis Yolmen is OUT with a hammy, he joins Hodge, Lewis and Bennell as some of the big outs in the lead up to round 6.
Those conundrums and plenty more in the pre round show community

@Finn_09 · 07/05/2015 at 21:50

Wonderful as always!

tom · 07/05/2015 at 21:51

If I have the trades and cash to upgrade McIntosh this week should I?

not sure wether to wait for him to make more cash or pull the trigger early to try and help my ranking.

    Motsy · 07/05/2015 at 23:27

I was going to upgrade him, BE of about 40 from memory, excluding his first game averaging about 60, time is pretty much up there.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:22

    hold this week mate
then trade to mckenzie next week for him

Adam · 07/05/2015 at 21:52

Will leuenberger affect stefan Martin scoring output?

    Derek · 07/05/2015 at 21:57

Are we sure he is playing?

      Adam · 07/05/2015 at 22:01

I really like stefan Martin as a POD

    Gold Rush · 07/05/2015 at 22:26

Brought him in and then once teams named I reversed the trade, R1 & R2 was when they played together and SM's scores were not flash.

    Jimi · 07/05/2015 at 22:27

If Luey's back in then he will negatively effect Martin. Martin does his best work as the solo ruck.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:11

The simple answer is YES and not in a good way.

It appears he will be playing this weekend not being listed on the extended bench but I guess we'll see.

mattforrest8 · 07/05/2015 at 21:55

Salem to Shiel, Dahlaus, or Ebert? Need your help Jock

    TOPHAWK1 · 07/05/2015 at 23:11

    Shiel. He bloody gun! Welcome!

    Danners16 · 08/05/2015 at 13:06

    Dahlhaus, proven fwd premium

Mic · 07/05/2015 at 21:55

Salem out who should I get in? Buddy, Ryder or Goddard

    noob · 07/05/2015 at 22:01

Goddard will be the cheapest he will be in 6 weeks. Breakeven of 69 very consistent.

      Jimi · 07/05/2015 at 23:59

I've left Goddard for another week to bring in a different premium. His BE is 69 low but he's playing Freo and a very realistic chance of going sub 100 this week, so I don't think his price will change significantly.

    Goldyy · 07/05/2015 at 22:26

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 22:27

Goddard is great value although may have an ordinary score against Freo this weekend if you can handle that. Should be an excellent option long term though.

Buddy looks not far away from exploding on the Supercoach scoreboard although I see there's about a 50% chance of rain forecast this weekend. At least you'll get to see what the weather is like before pulling the trigger there. If it's raining buckets I'd probably hold off on Buddy for a week or two.

Ryder is shaping up as a decent option for ruck cover in your forward line. If he can average around 90 for the rest of the season with that ruck cover bonus I reckon that's very effective utilisation of a forward spot. He has burnt many a supercoach in seasons past though in his former life at the Dons.

      r2d2 · 08/05/2015 at 00:10

Going tbc too Ryder next week for sure

        r2d2 · 08/05/2015 at 00:12

Tbc currently in my fwd line as insurance , so having Ryder there just helps scoring and my fwd line more effective I’m hoping

          SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:30

Yes I'm planning to do likewise r2d2. I still need to get Gray into my own team so that may be my priority this week but I can see myself bringing in Paddy sooner rather than later, especially if he produces another solid performance this weekend against the Eagles.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:23

    i went Ryder
but no right answer, just whatever fits your structures best mate

Anders · 07/05/2015 at 21:56

G'day guys just need help as to what to do with Jack Newnes got $207k in the bank and im not sure who to bring? Cheers

    scrofl · 08/05/2015 at 11:18

    Harry Taylor or Heath Shaw.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:23

hold newnes mate – i like scrofl answer

but upgrade a rookie to Shaw – hold newnes!

Tomo · 07/05/2015 at 21:56

Any one with insight on how long Cam Ellis Yolmen is out for?

    noob · 07/05/2015 at 22:00

    2 weeks…

someone said on radio similar to cheeneys injury which kept him out for 2 weeks.

      Elle · 07/05/2015 at 22:10

Means we can slaughter the fat cow in the bye rounds

        Traderlyf · 07/05/2015 at 23:44

        dom sheed or CEY out

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:25

2 weeks but more than likely will be more. possible 3 being a hammy and if crows do OK he may need a week in the SANFL

noob · 07/05/2015 at 21:58

Option 1:
NVB to Pendles
leaves me with 25 trades… but a proven premo keeper

Option 2:
NVB to Goddard
Newton to any midfielder, forward, backmen under 460k
leaves me with 24 trades… 2 premos but potentially not keepers.

    Harrison · 07/05/2015 at 22:11

      Goldyy · 07/05/2015 at 22:25

    judd0 · 08/05/2015 at 11:03

You have to have Pendles this year again. Might as well get him now

    Danners16 · 08/05/2015 at 13:06

    1. Pendlebury is a must

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:26

if you have a solid trading plan then scoring output from Goddard + Newton upgrade could be more than just having Pendles

Pendles is a must, but if you can plan to have him post bye and you already have 2 solid C options then i would go with option 2

if you really are a n00b though the safest option will be option 1

      noob · 08/05/2015 at 13:45

This would be my trading plan. Option two and trade in Taylor Adams for newton. If all goes to plan trade out Heeney and Salem next week for Mckenzie and Glenn. creating about 400k. Trade out Vandenberg the week after for Pendles? Good plan or?

        Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:49

good plan, but whats the best you can afford other than ADAMS.
He seems like a good grab now, but not a proven premo.
the only reason i ask is around that price point theres so many good players and the more $ you add to ADAMS the better the list gets.

even if you wait one more week you could pick up Steven Johnson cheaper than ADAMS

          noob · 08/05/2015 at 15:00

Ideally I would like to use both my trades next week for rookie downgrades. There are not many good people under 460k

          Eddie Betts
          Tom Mitchell
          Charlie Dixon
          Danyle Pearce
          Liam Picken
          Jasper Pittard
          Brodie Smith
          Kade Simpson

These boys are all options… Thoughts?

            Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 15:04

            Tom Mitchell

            Absolute Gun.

If you can see how he goes this week and look to bring him in next week.
Tom Mitchell, if he gets games is easilly a 550K player

Take a risk and trade Newton to Glenn. That will give you good warchest to bring in T.Mitchell next week and possibly another premo or rookie ( McKenzie from saints will be on the bubble next week)

            Rawkus11 · 09/05/2015 at 10:29

Pittard out of that lot. Maybe Betts

budgiesmugglers · 07/05/2015 at 22:06

need a really cheap replacement for b goodes to create some $$$$.,.. any ideas?

    Venga · 07/05/2015 at 22:45

    Dan · 08/05/2015 at 01:33

Yeah I'm risking going McKenzie a week early, only coz Goodes is back and has high BE and could potentially be the sub again. Was gonna wait a week and go McIntosh to McKenzie but gotta go early now.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:28

goodes looking for MID time this week.

worst case scenario he may loose a tiny amount of cash, but then you can downgrade to mckenzie next week

goodes is a gun and could get more of a run, especially if the doggies stay up and about

Antonio · 07/05/2015 at 22:09

Salem is playing right?

    Salem · 07/05/2015 at 22:11

    Could be late out

Harrison · 07/05/2015 at 22:16

Cyril Rioli anyone? He's delicious
low score of 93 and high score of 104 thats pretty consistent for 5 gamis
Anyone touching him at $492.700
Im thinking him as a POD

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:10

Would touch him myself. Has burnt way too many supercoaches over the years.

Those lacky bands he calls hammies could go twang at any given moment.

Plenty of other good options around that price point without taking on that elevated injury risk in my view.

      Derek · 07/05/2015 at 23:18

I’m a Hawks fan and just love the guy, don’t think I’ve ever had him in my team, for good reason

      SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:26

      Whoopsies meant '*wouldn't touch him'

    Dan · 08/05/2015 at 01:35

Too much risk, altho I had him a few years back when he played 21 games I think and avg over 100…lucky!

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:29

    he is a burn man
but with no hodge or lewis could be a gun move having him in the team

not for my team, but u need big ball to win this game. no Kelly ball

Jack · 07/05/2015 at 22:17

Should I upgrade bellchambers to goldy or to mummy for 100k cheaper which will allow me to upgrade Salem to a premo the following week?

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:17

I'd keep TBC at least another week or two. Appears to be steadily gaining match fitness with every passing game and has a BE below his season average.

You'd be paying significant overs for Goldy right now and Mummy has only lost a bunch of coin this season with a tough game coming up against the Hawks this weekend. The big lug was meant to dominate Pike and Tippett when he faced another contender in the Swans but only delivered a 61 so not sure I'd be falling over myself to bring in the big Mummy this week.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:30

    with no injuries, hold TBC.

not huge value in rucks at this stage and if TBC pulls out a 85+ game that will stay in his 3 week avg increasing his value. upgrade other lines first then look to swap TBC to Ryder

Patu · 07/05/2015 at 22:17

Boak or Ward or someone else. Looking for a round 13 bye midfielder.

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:24

Priddis is another Rd13 bye mid who is superb value at the moment and should be quite a safe option over the long haul.

Shiel has put up his hand early this season but not sure if he will reach genuine elite status in 2015 once the better oppositions start locking him down. Only scored 52 against the Swans but belted out huge scores in the other 4 games.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:31

Priddis is cheap so a good option, but i had Ward last season and he was an elite POD for my team

Goldyy · 07/05/2015 at 22:17

Hi everyone

Thoughts on whether i should do

1) bellchambers to stefan martin (cant swing for a forward and already have goldstein or

2) rich to pendblebury

Thanks !

    Traderlyf · 07/05/2015 at 23:46

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:22

I like option 2 a helluva lot more myself Goldyy. Pendles is a must have and could be a very handy VC option this Friday.

Martin is a great player but it appears Leuey may be coming back this weekend which could curtail Stef's scoring capability to some degree.

    Blueprime · 08/05/2015 at 02:06

    judd0 · 08/05/2015 at 11:05

Pendles is a must have again this year.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:31

tom · 07/05/2015 at 22:18

Hello community,
I am bringing in Pendles who should i trade out for him Salem or Ellis Yolmen?
thoughts appreciated

    Harrison · 07/05/2015 at 22:20

Salem, CEY has more money to earn only out for a possible 2 and can be slaughtered around the byes

    Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:06

Either. Really depends on how much bank you have.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:31

    E Y

    out for 2 weeks

need warm bodies on the field

Caz · 07/05/2015 at 22:52

Hi community, thoughts on salem to buddy and ellis yolmen to jpk. Uses most of my war chest but gives me another 2 keepers. Thnx.

    Derek · 07/05/2015 at 23:19

That is what the war chest is for, great trades

    @t_woof · 08/05/2015 at 00:38

Agree with Derek. Good trades Caz.

    Dan · 08/05/2015 at 01:37

Or wait a week or 2 and have a crack at Selwood.

    Charlesy · 08/05/2015 at 10:39

Brilliant Caz. Go early with those trades and start building the war chest again.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:32

    big tick

Harry · 07/05/2015 at 22:52

Griffen to boak?

Smart move or will it backfire on me?

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:34

Griffen has probably proven already that he won't be a keeper this season so it's only a question of when you pull the trigger to upgrade him to a true elite of the game. If you were going to upgrade I wouldn't stuff around and go straight to a Pendles, Fyfe or JPK.

GWS do finally have a game at their home stadium this week and although it's against the Premiers they will be missing their best two mids in Lewis and Hodge. So perhaps it may be worth keeping Griff around another week just in case he repeats the trend of tonning up on the even rounds.

But if he spuds it up again it's definitely time to show him the door next week perhaps as a downgrade to Glenn if you can't upgrade him to an elite.

      davo · 08/05/2015 at 13:57

Griff named dead in the centre. Have a feeling he’ll kill it this week.

    Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:09

I'm planning to trade Griff to Rocky once Rocky bottoms out.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:32

    backfire move

    hold on this trade

BigDropKick · 07/05/2015 at 22:55

Is it too early to go from Newnes to Brodie Smith? I have 466k to spend on a defender

    BigDropKick · 07/05/2015 at 23:03

Probably way too early…… Do you think Pittard will be up there in the top 10 defenders by the end of the year?

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:43

Yes I would just let that one marinate for another few weeks. Both he, Hibberd and Simpson should be low $400Ks or less in another fortnight which has many a coach salivating at the thought.

They have all had forgettable starts to the season but are way better players than that so should be on everyone's menu once they can string some consistent form together.

      BigDropKick · 08/05/2015 at 09:41

Thoughts on Pittard being a keeper?

        SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 11:32

It's certainly looking that way. I'd probably still push folk towards a player like Simpson who's been there and done that numerous times over but there is no arguing with Pittard's output thus far.

Personally I only plan on trading in premo defenders for no more than $400k in 2015 …if I can help it. 🙂

    Danners16 · 08/05/2015 at 13:05

It is a bit early, could wait a week or get on Simpson

tigga · 07/05/2015 at 23:03

Hey community just wondering if you could trade in any defender atm who you think will be within the top 10 defenders at the end of the year and with price not being an issue, who would it be???

    Derek · 07/05/2015 at 23:20

I had Simpson from start, he is cheaper now but will be top 10

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:33

dont be sucked into any new premos in defence, i am personally holding out for Malceski to drop

PreviouslyOnLost · 07/05/2015 at 23:06

With Henderson out, Need to rely on one of Goodes or Nathan Brown on field. Hopefully Brown puts in a good one and I can loophole him.

For me this week I think it's
Salem to Gray
Goodes to Mckenzie

Need to do the goodes trade as I am about 1k short and by dealing with goodes this week, i can downgrade to Glenn next week and upgrade another player.

Steve · 07/05/2015 at 23:07

Salem out for Goddard or Dusty?

Do i play goodes if not named sub or get in mcdonald/pittard or simpson in for him?

    SCaddict · 07/05/2015 at 23:48

Probably Goddard given his attractive price this week although at least Dusty has performed to his starting price so far this season.

      Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:11

Goddard probably won't shift much in price this week, BE of 69 but he's unlikely to go 100+ against Freo IMO.

        SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:33

That could be a good call Jimi. Of course if he pumps out another ton you will have a pay a little more for him but there is no tougher assignment in footy than @Freo right now.

          Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:50

It's a hedged bet, it enabled me to bring in Pendles and JPK this round. For that I'd still be happy to cop a higher price for Goddard.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:35

TOPHAWK1 · 07/05/2015 at 23:16

No mention of Dylan Shiel in the podcast tonight.

Get on him!

    Dan · 08/05/2015 at 01:38

No mention of Tom Mitchell either.

    mcleal10 · 08/05/2015 at 07:54

I have Dylan Shiel. Don't think he will finish top 10 this year tbh

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:36

What do we all think of Toby GREENE?

had a shit year so far, worth a cheap penny. can he turn it around?

im thinking him as my M8 POD

Donavan · 07/05/2015 at 23:28

Who will be the top 6 forwards at seasons end?

I think –

but am uncertain about the other 2.

what are the communities thoughts?

    Sean · 07/05/2015 at 23:38

    Swan and Dusty

    Derek · 07/05/2015 at 23:52

    Swan and martin, maybe Bartel

    The Bont · 08/05/2015 at 00:34

    Dahlhaus could be up there

Jock · 07/05/2015 at 23:36

Ellis Yoleman to Glenn
Salem to Goddard
184k still in bank

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:37

    Glenn = good option

    GC have injuries and suspensions.

another 100+ game and he will be the next 2 dads

Cozza · 07/05/2015 at 23:40

Have $478k in the bank and 25 trades. Can go rich > Pendles or JPK and Salem to Goddard or Franklin,l. Best to do that or hold trades – trading will leave me only 23 trades and a small war chest heading into byes (although some nice cows to kill soon).

    Donavan · 07/05/2015 at 23:48

Goddard should be a priority buy, he will go up in price, and I believe stay up. You have a couple of weeks at least to get Franklin in.

Pendlebury & Kennedy – prices wont change much over the next few weeks if they continue to score their averages. Rich may go up slightly. It comes down more to points scoring than money making. Personally I would go Pendlebury, but it is a trade that doesnt need to happen.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:06

Yes Cozza I'd definitely make those trades mate.

Bringing 2 of those 4 guys in now at discounted prices will only significantly improve your team sooner rather than later which is a good use of trades and war chest for mine.

    Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:55

Can you find a way to bring in Pendles and JPK this week and leave Goddard till next week?

(Disclaimer: This are the two guys I bought in this week).

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:39

that's what a war chest is for.
    use it

Traderlyf · 07/05/2015 at 23:50

trying to get pendles in but dont know whether to trade out dom sheed or CEY – sheed is averaging around 65 and has very good JS with a BE of about 30, but CEY seems like he'll make me more cash after he comes back from injury, thoughts?

    Donavan · 08/05/2015 at 00:06

if you dont need a player scoring in the next 2 weeks, i would keep CEY.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:39

trade down both then upgrade next week

Mighty_Hondo · 07/05/2015 at 23:55

G'day community, Goodes out McDonald in this week. Thoughts behind the move is that proven premo mids are falling in price whilst the like of McDonald and Pittard are increasing. Like Lekdog said, time to move B Goodes on. I agree, don't want to lose the projected $30k. Bring in one of the rising Defenders and get the mid premos later as some of them are still falling.

    Rawkus11 · 09/05/2015 at 10:35

I'm doing the same hondo. Was tossing up between McD and Pittard. Went McD. ceiling is much higher and i think he has proven himself a keeper this year

Mighty_Hondo · 08/05/2015 at 00:00

Hi community, bench NVB or Heeney this week folks? Cant trade NVB as had to trade some guys going to lose cash incl B Goodes…Thoughts?

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 00:39

As much as I'd prefer to play Heeney, all things being equal, you need to have a backup plan on the off chance he cops the snot vest. Unfortunately timing-wise we probably won't know that until half an hour into the Crows v Suns encounter.

Reckon both Goodes and Lloyd are the more likely candidates but you can never predict what might be going through a coach's head with 100% accuracy who may want to ease his young charger back into it.

For this reason I'll be putting Heeney on my bench regrettably. If Beams or Sloane are a late withdrawal I'll be forced to take Heeney's score regardless with Lewis and CEY already not available.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:41

    play NVB

only basis of this being his exp and age

Heeney coming off an injury more likely to SNOT

Nicholas · 08/05/2015 at 00:15

Hey community just wondering whether this is a good trade,
Newnes to Mckenzie and Salem to Goddard.
I could keep Newnes and get rid of mcintos instead but the Newnes trade leaves me with 100k which I can use next week for and upgrade.
Cheers thanks for any advice

    cow roll · 08/05/2015 at 02:03

Newnes to McKenzie. Salem to goddard

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 08:09

As Jock says in the podcast, you've got to ask yourself whether these trades increase the overall scoring capacity of your team?
I don't think your first option does this. Whereas by trading our McIntosh to McKenzie and upgrading Salem to Goddard… these trades DO increase the overall scoring capacity of your team. That's what I'd do.

      dognino · 08/05/2015 at 10:05

Technically Macintosh is averaging more than newnes by .2 , and has a top score of 120 vs newnes 90. Seeing more upside in Macca at the moment, for me , I'm dropping newnes to Mckenzie . Either way newnes was gonna be on my bench anyway, so I'm going a week early on Mckenzie before newnes bleeds more money.

        demon · 08/05/2015 at 12:18

agreed newnes is being outperformed by pretty much every rookie, and mcintosh 34 breakeven 103, I say go for it

        Nicholas · 08/05/2015 at 12:59

Only problem with the Newnes trade I have only 100k in bank and can't upgrade yolmen next week

          Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:03

It's not always about breakevens guys! Yes Newnes has underperformed, but he has potential to score a lot more than he has been. Whereas McIntosh is only there for cash generation, therefore his BE matters a lot more. I will personally be holding Newnes and upgrading elsewhere. If he's still only providing 70's by the time I've for a full premo team, I'll upgrade him then, and only then.
It may be right, it may be wrong, but that's what I'm doing and why.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:41

    hold newnes

Derek · 08/05/2015 at 00:15

Don’t fall in love with a Cash Cow!

They are there for one reason only, and that is to make cash, the quicker the better.

This year we have been blessed and there seems to be a few more hitting the bubble in a few weeks time.

The challenge this year will be to turn them in to cash and ultimately into premiums with limited trades.

During the byes we have 3 trades, I’m I think that might be to late for most of our rookies, we need to start the cull now.

I have started with a “Lame” policy, meaning if any of my fattened cows become sick or lame, they get the chop.

Heeney went last week, CEY is going this week.

They have to go and this way is the most humane way I can think of.

    Kev · 08/05/2015 at 08:26

Flipside derek, three price rises in and has already made 200k, so much more to make. Emergencies are there for a reason so why not use them?

No trade down options beside Glenn, who breaks the only trade rookies on the bubble rule. I'm holding

      derek · 08/05/2015 at 11:10

he won't make any cash if he is out for 3 weeks.

      derek · 08/05/2015 at 14:06

I'm not trading down this week, I'm trading up because I have a warchest from selling Heeney.

Mitch Golby any thoughts?

@t_woof · 08/05/2015 at 00:45

Anyone considering Michael Barlow this week or next?

    Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 00:56

He's definitely on the radar with a few other fallen premiums.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 01:19

Not this week as he needs to string 2 or 3 tons together first but he's on the watch list for sure.

    Derek · 08/05/2015 at 07:04

    Ross Lyon!!!

      @t_woof · 08/05/2015 at 13:05

      Cheers guys!

I know it's Ross Lyon Derek, ….but finding it tough to resist with Ellis-Yolmen & NVB in my side ready for the chop. I am a bit vulnerable this weekend….currently 380th overall and have lost Hodge, Lewis and Bennell (not trading any of them).

Donavan · 08/05/2015 at 00:58

Bat midfielder to bring in at around $550k mark. Looking for a keeper.

Current thinking is Kennedy.

Other thoughts are, can Scott Thompson continue in his rich vein of form, particularly given his favourable draw over the next 5 or so rounds, or will Sloan take some points back?

Can Kennedy reach his normal numbers or has Hannebery taken over for good?

Watson, will he be a top 8 midfielder?

Communities thoughts are always vaued.

    Ben · 08/05/2015 at 02:53

Big ask to back a player on the wrong side of 30 with poor durability. JPK's a solid pick but not guaranteed to average 110+. Sydney's midfield's stacked and if Mitchell can stay in the team, more players to compete with in terms of contested ball and clearances. I'd prefer Heppell over Watson but for a midfielder under 550, Dangerfield at 520 is a bargain if you don't have him and is almost a lock to go 130+ against whats left of Gold Coast.

    Derek · 08/05/2015 at 07:08

You even said “keeper” and then talked about Thompsons next 4 games being good. With keepers. You shouldn’t even worry about who they are playing. He not a keeper anymore

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:43

    big POD = COTCHIN

he has had a pretty good season and has done nothing.

with all the media about him not being a great player, he could turn it up

Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 01:01

Pick 2 on field from Cripps, Heeney, VDB, Krak or Miller.

I'm thinking Cripps and Heeney/Miller.

    Donavan · 08/05/2015 at 01:04

    Cripps & Miller, Krak emerg

    Derek · 08/05/2015 at 07:09

Cripps for sure, the rest need to avoid the vest first

      Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 10:14

With GCS injuries Miller will definitely avoid the snot vest, just not sure if he will shine or struggle with so many of the best 22 out.

    Danners16 · 08/05/2015 at 13:04

    Cripps, Heeney, Miller

Antonio · 08/05/2015 at 01:05

Who should I get to partner Goldstein in the ruck? I have Minson at the moment and need to trade him. Or should I play TBC and wait a week?

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 01:29

Tough one as you must be feeling the pinch with Mino out for 3 straight weeks now.

Cordy was absolutely killed in the ruck last weekend and was eventually subbed off with a pitiful 23pts alongside his name but Bevo seems to love the guy or has a major problem with Big Will, maybe more to the point. There's something that just doesn't add up there.

Sauce Jacobs could be well under $500K in couple of weeks which is one suitor among a few who I'm eyeing for R2 in another fortnight. Still averaging 90 as disappointing as he's been and has excellent durability for a big man.

I'd hold on for one more week if you possibly can as TBC will probably exceed his BE even @Freo.

      Derek · 08/05/2015 at 07:11

I’ll probably go Sauce. Wait a week or two for his price to hit bottom

        Matt · 08/05/2015 at 08:29

I don’t have cover for Minson and have been taking the donut. I’m thinking of trading to nic Nat who is averaging 86. This is only about 10 points less than the top Ruckman (excluding goldstein who I have) and will generate 30k. Is this a good trade?

Dan · 08/05/2015 at 01:40

Remember those times when you're 5K short of the perfect trade. Unless upgrading to premo, hold Salem this week, will still make a little cash, every bit helps!

    TOPHAWK1 · 08/05/2015 at 09:21

I know the feeling. I wanted to upgrade Griff to Pendelbury this week. $400 SHORT!!! Argggg…LOL

    Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 12:43

Would love to hold Dan but downgrading him and Webb is my last chance for a forward rookie for now

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:44

like playing fifa 15, having 20 shots on goal and loosing 1 nil to the opponent who has 1 shot on goal all game.

throttlefinger · 08/05/2015 at 02:05

The urge to ditch Griff is becoming beyond intolerable. But I'm going to take a deep, deep breath and keep him in. Build war chest and go round by round.

But that URGE!!!! I'm going to trade Griff a couple times before the rollout but that's just to satisfy the itch. Will only go with Salem to Glenn.

Fantastic tribute to a lost plum. He was one of a kind. Or two.

    judd0 · 08/05/2015 at 11:08

James was always one to go for the ball, he didn't have to take it this far though.

      demon · 08/05/2015 at 12:21

why not wait a week on that trade? Salem is likely to still rise this week, whilst glenn has only played one game

Rick Grimes · 08/05/2015 at 05:36

Had Sheed penciled in for slaughter this week, now with CEY out for a couple (or more), not sure what to do. Sheed is capable of going 70-80 and making a bit more coin. CEY could make another $100k, but do I want to wait several weeks for that. Hmmm.

    Kev · 08/05/2015 at 08:16

Sheed is not setting the world on fire but he is travelling okay. Breakeven of 33 is achievable this week. With no real downgrade options right now hold him

    Beady Eye · 08/05/2015 at 10:30

CEY is scoring like a borderline premium, unless you’re in desperate straits elsewhere in your team, hold him through the injury. Plenty more cash to be made on this plump calf.

    judd0 · 08/05/2015 at 11:10

I think if we keep CEY he will be fat and ready to slaughter at a different time to all of our other rookies.
This is a good thing, hold if it doesn't mean a donut.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:46

SHEED has a BE of 33

if you have to hold then its not doom and gloom

Newton to Goddard
Hogan to Ziebell
Goodes to McKenzie
Newton to Pendlebury

Option 2, by a country mile.

    judd0 · 08/05/2015 at 11:11

    Option 2
I don't know why you would want to slaughter Hogan yet, plus Ziebell isn't a great option in my opinion.
Option 2 looks solid though, bit of a risk with McKenzie, but should be ok.

      ATeam12345 · 08/05/2015 at 11:50

      I'll go with option 2!
I'll slaughter Hogan next week for Goddard

Pittard, I can see him become Port's version of Brodie Smith

TOPHAWK1 · 08/05/2015 at 09:56

Hi community!

Got a tricky little dillema for upcoming round 6.

CEY, Heeney (E) and Krakouer (E) on the bench. Currently Vandenberg, Cripps and Miller on the field. Put the V on Pendles, and the C on Fyfe.

Q1- Have I currently got the right rookies on the field? Or should Heeney and or Kraks be on the field ahead of one or two of the current onfield three?

B- Lets say Pendles comes out tonight and pumps out another 150. Obviously CEY will be put on the field and the C put on him. Taken off Fyfe as there is only a small chance he will outscore 150.

Q2- Which rookie would you take off the field to accommodate CEY?

I reckon there would be a lot of players having a very similar scenario this week as the one I have.

Love to hear some thoughts.

    Kev · 08/05/2015 at 10:08

G'day TOPHAWK, form line suggests you've got the right blokes on the park. Tough gig predicting rookie scores though. If you can E loophole any of them I suggest that.

VBerg plays Sydney in Sydney. Toughest game on paper out Cripps v Lions or Miller v Crows

      Jimi · 08/05/2015 at 10:21

I'm in a similar boat TOPHAWK.

Q1) I think you have the right rookies on the field (although IMO you could toss a coin between Heeney and Miller for the M8 spot).

Q2) Regardless of you who end up starting in M8, that's the person you should take off if you want to loophole using CEY. Cripps has the highest ceiling of all the mid rookies and has the easiest game on paper and should stay on.

Krak also has an easy game on paper, and whilst he is solid for a rookie priced player, he's never been known for throwning out monster scores.

Jeff · 08/05/2015 at 10:10

I'm thinking of going CEY- Glenn then Salem to Goddard or JPK, would prefer JPK but i'll lose my mid/ fwd swing, is it worth it?

    Ben · 08/05/2015 at 12:26

    JPK > Goddard

    Danners16 · 08/05/2015 at 13:01

Swing sets are pretty important so CEY-Glenn and Salem-Goddard sounds good

    WombatsFC · 08/05/2015 at 14:20

You can always buy another swing Jeff, chase the points mate.

nathan · 08/05/2015 at 10:12

G’day once again community
And great podcast again jock

So I’ve been looking at bringing in goldy for minson
I’ve had no cover so he needs to go and this is the first week I’ve been able too
But I’m thinking due to the price of goldy at over 600k
Is it worth maybe Ryder as he will be my f6 after the byes also save 100k for this week
Or just bring goldy in

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 11:09

I'd probably just go Goldy and pay the price premium since you have the coin available. At least you'll have the must have ruckman this season at R1 and can move on to other issues.

With Paddy there is always that risk of him going off the boil at some point, as in seasons past, so he is definitely better placed in the forward line where you have more options plus the ruck cover advantage.

Tom · 08/05/2015 at 10:24

does anyone know how long ellis-yolmen will be out for. He has been omitted for a hamstring injury but is not on the AFL injury list

I don't want to cull salem because next week I will most likely double down trade and then in round 8 go Cripps to pendles, followed by goddard and franklin in round 9 and 10, thoughts?

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 10:48

Any reason you're waiting so long to bring in premiums? If you've got the cash to upgrade Salem this week then you should go for it.

      derek · 08/05/2015 at 11:07

agree. it is all about scoring points. get the premiums in as soon as you can so they can start scoring points for you.

    Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 12:41

Pavos I agree with Sarah and Derek although if you beleive in your trading plan stick to it. I'll be using a downgrade option next week possibly 2 depending on how Heeney goes

Liam · 08/05/2015 at 10:54

Great stuff boys
Just want to know who to get rid of for Priddis
Heeney or CEY

    I N Pieman · 08/05/2015 at 11:38

CEY. Heeney still has good money to be made

      Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 12:00

So does CEY! He's averaging 91 and has been very consistent. I'd hold him at this stage. Wouldn't get rid of either of those boys yet. Also, Priddis hasn't shown premium form yet.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 13:47

Jack · 08/05/2015 at 10:55

Thoughts on Priddis?! Nobody is giving him a look in!

    derek · 08/05/2015 at 11:06

only because there are some better options around the same price. I like him

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 11:18

Jock is a fan. Looks pretty good value but his average of 96 in the first 5 games is pretty ordinary for a midfield elite. No doubt he is missing the support of inside players like Scooter to help carry the midfield load.

Also the Eagles play @Port this weekend which is another thing not in his favour right now.

But if he can ton up on the weekend there would probably be more community buzz next week.

      Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 12:02

His BE is 109 so you're not going to lose much by waiting a week and hopefully, seeing him hit some form with a decent ton. I personnally wouldn't bring him in before seeing some more 100's, same with Parker.

Tyso · 08/05/2015 at 10:58

I have the option of getting either JPK or Pendlebury this week, which one should I go?

    derek · 08/05/2015 at 11:10

    you can't go past Pendlebury.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 11:20

I'd extend to Pendles if you can. JPK is fantastically priced this week but Pendles is clearly a top 5 player that all coaches need to acquire at some point.

Mister_Spock · 08/05/2015 at 11:53

Stuck with Big Boy McEvoy as R2 at the moment – got the cash to bring in either Godlstein ($610K and probably close to his peak) or Stefan Martin ($570K and slightly under value).

I was leaning towards Martin due to the price difference, until the Lions brought Leuey back in. Should I just shell out the extra $40K for Goldy, or stick with a POD in Martin?

I reckon either could go big this week (Goldy against Richmond and Martin v Carlton), but nervous about the impact of Leuey on Martin's scoring potential. On the plus side, when they did play them together, Leuey spent most of the time up forward, and Martin still managed to get decent possession numbers and scored a 98 in week 2.

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:09

    Hey Mister Spock,
What about Mumford? He's dropped about $100k but is averaging 94 due to 1 bad game with a score of 60-odd. I reckon he'll be a better pick up than Martin (since Leuy's in the side) and is a lot cheaper than Goldy.

      Mister_Spock · 08/05/2015 at 15:26

Great tip Sarah, thanks! Had completely forgotten about Mummy – he looks to have settled down. My only concern with him is potential for injury, but he's priced really nicely, and sole ruck for GWS too.

Other option is just to hang on to McEvoy on the basis that I'll lose money by trading him out – historically he scores well against upcoming opponents, but I'm not convinced that we'll see the usual output from him due to ruck scoring changes and Ceglar taking the number one ruck spot at Hawthorn, gotta get in a premo pronto is my thinking.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 14:12

I'd apply the KISS principle and just get Goldy in whilst you can. The Leuey inclusion can only hurt Martin's scoring for as long as the big Berger remains in that team.

Josh · 08/05/2015 at 12:07

Is Salem to Ziebell in forward line and Heeney to Glenn in midfield good trades?

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:10

I'm not a fan of Ziebell. There's far better options in the forward line in my opinion.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 14:22

One week too early on Glenn and I wouldn't be taking on that risk especially if it's only to raise sufficient cash to get Ziebell in.

At this stage of the game you really want to be upgrading your cash cows to top 6 forward candidates like a Goddard, Dusty, Buddy, Gray etc.

Pinidu.C · 08/05/2015 at 12:14

I have Salem, Hogan, Clark, Tarrant and Lonie in my forward line, unfortunately only three of them can play on field. Which three should it be?

Thanks for all your help
Any suggestions for slaughtering the cash cows gratefully welcomed!

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:12

I'd bench the two Melbourne boys. They struggled against Freo last week and it doesn't get any easier with the Swans this week.

Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:21

Okay so i'm in the same boat as all the people with Minson in their team, HOWEVER i don't have cover for him. I did have cover in Lycett but he was dropped so i had to trade him out.
SO I have minson as my M2 BUT i have no cover!!!
I'm just going for league wins, and this week i need one! I'm currently 1-3 & versing someone who is 3-1, so i can't have a 0 on my field as that's essentially a certain loss.

I don't really want to trade minson out though, he is a proven premium! SO would like some advice in what i should do.

My RUC&FWD structure:
Goldy, Minson (Read)
Gray, Swan, Walker, Hogan, Salem, Tarrant (Clark, Lamb)
25 trades left
$461,100 in the bank

After listening to the podcast, i'm starting to think Salem –> Ryder? I wanted to trade salem up next week to either Goddard or Franklin, but i can't get another 0. Can someone please help with what I should do?

    Nanners · 08/05/2015 at 12:25

Optimistic that he's a proven premium, everyone knew that he would have been the most negatively affected ruck based on last years stats with the new scoring. And now he's not getting a game. Common sense to trade him.

      Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:31

Well who would you trade him to?

        Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:14

Mumford and Jacobs are well below their starting prices. They're both good options. If I had to choose 1 though I'd pick Mumford as he's been more consistent so far this year than Jacobs.

          Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 13:30

so you don't think that salem –> ryder is a good option?

just do a straight trade minson –> mumford

            Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:33

If Minson can't get a game after Cordy was so awful last week there has to be another reason why he's out of the team. If it were me, I'd be trading Minson out. But it is your call after all.

            SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 13:57

Yes Salem to Ryder is a valid play.

This will at least give you some breathing space to work with and perhaps Mino will finally be an inclusion next week if Cordy has another shocker. He does appear to be on the outer will Bevo though for whatever reason.

Otherwise both Jacobs and Mummy will probably only be cheaper next week with BEs over 100 and you'll have ongoing ruck cover with Ryder in your forward line.

              Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 14:37

Do we think that Ryder will be able to keep scoring 90-100's for the rest of the year though?

                SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 14:47

I reckon about a 90pt average could be reasonably expected. Anything more than that would be a bonus in my book.

The fact that he'd be serving two purposes in terms of decent point generation as well as providing ruck cover I believe that would be sufficient as F6 material especially given the lack of other forward ruck options this season.

lolattack · 08/05/2015 at 12:28

miller or vandenberg on field?

and which 3 of the following on field? hogan, salem, clark, tarrant, lonie – was thinking tarrant for sure but not sure who else.

NateCrows · 08/05/2015 at 12:29

Ripper as per usual!
Judd and Lekdog as the same people. Haha

CEY to go I reckon

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:18

No way! His worst score is 78. You gotta keep him, he still has plenty of money to make. It actually helps if he misses a game or two to stagger when our cash cows are ready for the slaughter instead of them all being ready at once. Do yourself a favour and just bench him.

      NateCrows · 08/05/2015 at 13:30

IF he's out for 2 thats round 8, If the others are fit and getting games this is most games he has played in a row, he's played 6 games in total. Matt Crouch, brad crouch, Kerridge, grigg lyon and douglas vying for 2 spots. He's more likely to be the sub when he's back too. He will still make money but whats the use in using it 3-4 weeks time and then it's his bye

So, if I choose between heeney or him i'd rather CEY go and fatten up henney

        Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:35

Fair enough, your call. Heeney won't be making money for two weeks either til that 7 gets out of his rolling average.
What makes you think he won't be straight back into the side? He hasn't been the sub all year and has been keeping all those guys you mentioned out of the team! Anyway, I'll be holding him for now.

          NateCrows · 08/05/2015 at 13:44

It's a risk yes but Matt Crouch has been injured he played more games and brad will be back in 3-4 weeks as will douglas.
I just think he will come back but too late to take advantage of his money gain.

Henney has a BE of 36 if he gets 66 he goes up 13k , if he gets scores like he's been getting he will get close to CEY by the time he's back.

Holding CEY is probably good for bench cover too.
I was going to get rid of Heeney but since he's back and CEY is out for a few i think he's a better choice to Cull. They both get me the Premo i want but this way I have more in the bank.

            derek · 08/05/2015 at 14:11

I was going to get rid of salem, but with CEY out for a couple of week, it is CEY who gets the chop first.

I will upgrade to Godard with my warchest (from chopping Heeney last week).

Next week I can downgrade Salem to Glenn or McKenzie if they get a game.

I understand what sarah is saying that CEY can still make cash, but so will Goddard, so will Glenn, so will McKenzie…. CEY won't if he isn't playing !

          Tyler · 08/05/2015 at 18:43

Heeney is a good chance of being the sub as well

Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 12:37

Community Happy Friday! Trading Salem down to Webb this week to upgrade Goodes. Have 459k to spend down back tossing up between Simpson and Brodie Smith but a POD like Pittard is tempting. Thoughts??

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:41

get Simpson after the bye rounds, Smith has a massive BE so he will drip cash

      Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 12:45

Mozz who would you suggest then. Simmo ha sthe potential to go large this week and with a BE of 22 I think he can definitely get there

        Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 12:45

122 sorry keyboard has the shakes

          Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:55

I don't think simmo will get that 122, however smith has a BE of 168 so he will drop even more.

I think by year's end, simmo will be in all teams so you could get him in now & set and forget. He will drop in price but hey, we can't all get players in when they hit rock bottom

            Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 13:28

Thats it Mozz exactly my thoughts thanks for the input champ

JB · 08/05/2015 at 12:38

D Rich trade or hold?

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:58

    Ryan · 08/05/2015 at 13:06

Absolutely hold then trade when Rockliff bottoms out. Still guaranteed to give you a 85+ every week and not drop in price.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 13:50

Only upgrade him if you have the cash to go up to a super premo like Fyfe, JPK, Jelwood or Pendles.

HelpMeISuck · 08/05/2015 at 12:55

Bringing in Shiel and Dangerfield for Salem and Lewis, thoughts?

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 12:57

    sounds good!

      Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:30

      Nice PODs!

        derek · 08/05/2015 at 14:22

Lewis out is a sideways trade. I would hold him and keep the trade.

I think you have missed the boat on Shiel.

Danger is a very nice POD

          Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 14:23

Sheil is still only priced at $537k.

Davo · 08/05/2015 at 13:04

Trade A. Swallow to Pendles. Thoughts community?

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 13:12

do you have any other problems in your team? If so address them first.
Swallow –> Pendles will get you probably 30-40 more points each week. I have swallow but I am keeping him to at least the byes, would rather cull my cows first.
Keep in mind that North have had a tough draw so far! Their draw will open up after the byes.

      Davo · 08/05/2015 at 14:31

      Thanks Mozz. Cheers.

Ryan · 08/05/2015 at 13:07

Want to upgrade on Lumumba but not sure who for (I have McDonald). Please help!

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 13:12

hold on lumumba until a proven scorer emerges. IF you want to get a POD before everyone else, consider Jasper Pittard

      Locked and Loaded · 08/05/2015 at 13:30

Ryan, Mozz makes a good point. You need to remember why you used Lumumba if he was in your team as a D6 keeper then keep him if he was a steepping stone do as you please

      Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 14:43

Pittard is a gun but anyone considering him right now is chasing fools gold
just like Cripps ( who i missed ) once that train has left the station, you have to wait for the next one

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 14:42

    why trade the prince?
what did you expect from him?
any more scoring output and you were kidding yourself!

Unless you have atop 5% team look to fill your MIDS and FWDs 1st

      Ryan · 08/05/2015 at 14:53

I'm in the top 4%, thought Lumumba would belt out a few big scores early on but he has only got 100+ once. I think I might trade him for Pittard, he looks the real deal (avg 24 disposals, kicks more than handballs) and still has a low breakeven. I know he's made 100k already but I see him as a top 6 DEF come seasons end. Funny thing is I picked him last year as a POD and he was shocking!

        Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 14:59

me personally i would hold off until after the byes, but looks u have done your research and if you can justify it and it fits your structures then go for it. big risk = big reward

Pieman74 · 08/05/2015 at 13:26

Greetings Community.

Starting to lose patience with my defence. I am thinking about trading Burgoyne for Shaw or McDonald and Lambert or Lamb for Glenn (GC) or Krakour (PA). Also, can't decide whether to keep or trade Lewis. If I was going to trade him, I am thinking of either Pendlebury or Dangerfield. Would greatly appreciate any comments/feedback from the community.

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 13:29

lewis to pendles is a safe option, i would go with that

burgoyne to shaw is also a good option, you need shaw. Everyone has him and he scores well

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 13:57

I'd leave the defence alone and concentrate on upgrading your midfield and forward lines. The defence isn't a high scoring area anyway.

    derek · 08/05/2015 at 14:13

Burgoyne is going to go big this week. Lewis and Hodge out, Burgoyne will spend more time in the guts, he is pure class and will accumulate the pill. Hold him just for the points you will get.

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 15:01

    hold burgoyne.
    Lambert for Krak this week
    Lamb for Glenn next week

      Pieman74 · 08/05/2015 at 17:08

Thank you Mozz, Sarah, Derek and Wheels1987 for your advice.

Wheels1987 – Glenn is listed as a midfield only (not DPP) so can't bring him in for Lamb.

I am going keep Burgoyne but now thinking of upgrading Newes if I have the cash to Shaw, McDonald or Pittard

Thinking I should also keep Lewis and try and upgrade Van Berlo or trade Lambert to Glen as Krak is more expensive.

lolattack · 08/05/2015 at 13:39

vandenberg or miller on field?

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 13:41

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 15:01

    i have VDB on field
roll the dice and see what the footy gods throw your way

Liam · 08/05/2015 at 14:00

Hey guys,

Who would be the best midfield selection out of;
Josh P Kennedy
Dylan Sheil
David Mundy
Jordan Lewis

any other recommendation's will be considered

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 14:03

Lewis is out for three weeks so don't consider him
    JPK against melbourne
Mundy against Essendon (essendon do well against freo)
Shiel against hawks (hawthorn best team in comp)

    I would go JPK

Liam · 08/05/2015 at 14:10

Great pod Jock,

Going wingard to Goddard
and rich to JPK.
Are these good trades??

    Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 14:36

    wingard to goddard = fail

      Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 14:42

don't know why you would be trading out wingard, he is scoring over 80 points average which for a D5-6 is pretty good. Do you have any cash cows that are ready to be culled? ie: Salem

Rich –> JPK is a good one

        Wheels1987 · 08/05/2015 at 14:44

Wingard is a gun. He was in my starting team with T.Mitchell
I wish these two boys played from round 1

derek · 08/05/2015 at 14:20

JPK is mr Consistent. He gets so much contested ball he doesn't need much more than 25 touches to get 100SC. he is in my team.

Mundy can go big like last week……he plays for a team that is coached by Ross Lyon, need I continue?

Lewis has become more of an outside player, and he isn't getting the contested ball like he has in the past. That is why he gets the ball a lot but not really getting the SC points he should. I'm a big Hawks fan, and believe that Lewis is in career best form, but honestly believe this is as good as he will be, I don't think he has another level. There are Ultra premiums (fyfe, pendelbury, Gaz) who have another level, lewis won't every get there.

Sheil I don't know much about, this Saturday I'm going to the game and will have a good look at him. My feeling is that he hasn't been given the respect he should have up to now. We'll see how much respect the hawks give him. I think anyone getting him now is chasing points and missed the boat.

    Sarah · 08/05/2015 at 14:26

Sheils price though hasn't changed much. He's still $537k. Yes you've missed his points to date, but if he IS having a breakout year, there may be plenty more points to get and he's still at a very reasonable price.

      derek · 08/05/2015 at 17:29

seriously, I didn't even realise he was only $537k. I hadn't even considered him for my team. That is a fair price imo.

    SCaddict · 08/05/2015 at 14:34

Lewis's Supercoach to AFL Fantasy scoring ratio is a real worry this season.

If he keeps picking up too many cheap possessions it's hard to see him finishing a top 12 mid this season in Supercoach even though he is dominating in AFL Fantasy right now.

AaronMagpie · 08/05/2015 at 14:59

HELP !!!! ive traded Newnes to Hodge last week… What do i do?? Hold or Trade????

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 15:06

Hold. It's only 2 weeks, then he will come back

Jay · 08/05/2015 at 15:00

Mitch Clark or Jesse Hogan on field this week?!

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 15:07

I'm going with clark. He has a better chance of scoring well against collingwood than Hogan has against Sydney.

Is there the possibility for you to use a loophole here? Clark plays tonight so you might be able to use a loophole

      Jay · 08/05/2015 at 15:09

      Great idea, thanks mate

Liam · 08/05/2015 at 15:04

Hey guys, thoughts on my trades this week?
Salem > Glenn (Krak subbed to forward bench)
Yolmen > JPK

Still tossing up between Yolman and Rich to be traded out. Leaning towards Yolman at the moment.

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 15:10

You are doing the right thing by going 1 UP and 1 DOWN. That is how we should be trading up until the byes.

By trading down Salem, hopefully you have a good enough FWD line to score well. I'm upgrading Salem, and so are many others.

Otherwise Yolemen –> JPK is a good trade

      Liam · 08/05/2015 at 15:12

      Thanks mate

@RyanRhino14 · 08/05/2015 at 15:22

This week I'm trading Salem to Goddard and I wanted to trade Van Berlo to Glenn this round and trade Goodes to McKenzie next round but with Goodes playing it looks like I'll have to switch to doing Goodes to McKenize this round and Van Berlo to Glenn next round

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 15:38

    Good trades 🙂

jimmydowland · 08/05/2015 at 15:53

what should i do with minson

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 17:15

dude read the comment that I made a couple of hours ago and read the comments

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 17:17

I am holding minson. I don't want to trade out one of the 'premo' players that I wanted to have in my team the whle year

I am trading out Salem for Ryder, swapping read into the FWD and having Ryder as my R2 while minson is out

Rick · 08/05/2015 at 16:13

Heenys breakeven is currently 37. If he scores a 80 this week. What will his breakeven be next week? Please help as this will decide what trades I make. Cheers

    @RyanRhino14 · 08/05/2015 at 16:46

I think he'll be the sub, doesn't mean he will be but that's what I think

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 17:15

I have traded Heeney out, he will most likelycome back on as the sub which means a low score

Dickson Balls · 08/05/2015 at 16:24

Salem to Glenn
CEY to Pendles

All good Community?

    Mozz · 08/05/2015 at 17:14

You are doing the right thing by going 1 UP and 1 DOWN. That is how we should be trading up until the byes.
    All good

trent · 08/05/2015 at 18:03

anyone think this is a good trade?

Salem to Gleen
Lumumba to Houli or Rance

what do people think?

tim · 08/05/2015 at 18:28

trade out ellis- yolmen or TBC to Priddis or thompson???

nbro2 · 08/05/2015 at 19:26

Salem to Dixon?

Jordo · 09/05/2015 at 07:57

Lukey Parker with a 114 breakeven after coming off a 70 point half last week. With CEY possibly out for three, what are peoples thoughts on Heeney to Glenn (who looks to have good job security) and CEY to a rock bottom Lukey Parker? Is it too early? Seriously considering.
