Community! Lekdog here with some mo’ supercoach news…

For round 5 I did a Facebook Q and A, have a look and see if I answered your questions.

As always I’d love to hear from you as to what you would like to see in these videos, if left to me the videos will progressively get angrier as Carlton performs poorly…

Lots of love, @LekBlog.

OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 00:33

Do you use toilet paper to clean that facial hair?

Old Mate · 06/05/2015 at 00:45

Goddard or JPK a higher priority this week?

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 00:53

Both with the round 12 bye, Depends on team structure but keep byes in mind.
I prefer JPK at this stage.

      Jess · 06/05/2015 at 01:28

Goddard also has Freo in Freo

        OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 02:05

Jess, Yes he does but I would like to think that you are looking at the whole season and not just the next round.

          derek · 06/05/2015 at 09:03

I think Jess means that you could wait a week before getting him in.

            OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 09:19

Fair call mate just the way I read it maybe.

    Arny95 · 06/05/2015 at 01:25

I had the same decision to make this week.
Was either going salem to goddard or heeney to Kennedy/Parker
    Went with JPK

      OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 02:09

Arny95, Very decisive in your decision there, Good onya, Hope it's the right one. I would have made the same decision.

        Charlesy · 06/05/2015 at 06:07

Faced with the same call I went Floggard as a dpp and now have 5 forward premo keepers. The other reason was to wait a little longer to see if I can get Gaz and/or Rocky in the mids down the track

          Holty · 06/05/2015 at 09:34

Not sure if you will pick up JPK for any cheaper so I would grab him.

            Locked and Loaded · 06/05/2015 at 10:43

Don't believe JPK is a must this season better options to be had

          Charlesy · 06/05/2015 at 12:15

Holty, I’m not convinced about jpk yet mate. Looking into the crystal ball and with no one injured and in grand final tomorrow I’d be looking at this midfield. Fyfe Pendles Selwood Sloane Lewis ( I have those 5 plus griffin at the moment). Think I’ll end up trading griffin out for Ablett or Rockliff. That is 7 keepers. Number 8 is jpk Heppell Watson etc etc. who knows? There will be heaps of different thoughts here and lots of variables. May even have sidebum in there.

throttlefinger · 06/05/2015 at 01:04

With the look at the end, I can only hope you made it there in time.

Solid Q&A. Following advice with Griff. Wait a week and if doesn't go ton, swing to JPK.

Still waiting for the bowler…

    Jambo · 06/05/2015 at 09:12

JPK has a break even of 105. He will make this. JPK won't come any cheaper than 547k. Trade Griffen for JPK now, don't wait.

      throttlefinger · 06/05/2015 at 10:07

Think you're right, Jambo. Was going to wait but even if Griff hits BE, still going down in a next couple weeks. Thanks bud for the push.

    General Soreness · 06/05/2015 at 09:57

    Bring out the bowler……………..

      throttlefinger · 06/05/2015 at 10:08

Has to happen before the season's over, General.

        General Soreness · 06/05/2015 at 11:02

        Agree, might spam next Q&A.

Girdle · 06/05/2015 at 01:41

Nice one, Lekdog! Yours is about the only news I watch these days!

With all the Suns injuries/club suspensions, Josh Glenn also looks a decent downgrade option in mids. Still got another week before the bubble, but if you simply have to do it, looks look ke him or McKenzie like you said.

    Girdle · 06/05/2015 at 01:43

    * looks like him. Damn auto correct wtf!?

      SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 15:22

      Is your Auto Correct Polynesian?

    LEKD0G · 06/05/2015 at 13:16

    like it!

Redd · 06/05/2015 at 02:06

Hey lekdog keep up the good work. I myself am bringing in D.Mckenzie after taking K.Mcintosh to the slaughter i know he still has a bit of cash to make but wanna see how J.Glenn goes this week and if good bring him in for Heeney next week. Im also gonna part ways with Salem and bring in Brendon Goddard what you think? As for ideas for your show maybe you could do a fan team analyzer where fans submit there team and you provide perceived strengths weaknesses ideal trades and overall rating. Could be good just an idea. Cheers mate

    Sarah · 06/05/2015 at 08:51

I love that idea Redd!! I'd love to get my team analysed, I think we could all learn a lot by seeing that every week!

      Redd · 06/05/2015 at 13:34

      Cheers sarah

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 09:38

Great idea Redd, If the young genius can find the time it could be a very useful exercise.
I analyse my own team every week to keep my mind focussed and not stray from my Plan for the year.

      Redd · 06/05/2015 at 13:35

      Cheers Ock

    Holty · 06/05/2015 at 10:26

Hi Redd. Understand bringing in Goddard but dont understand the Mckenzie move. You state you want to have another week to look at Glenn before bringing him in which I will do the same but you want to pull the trigger on Mckenzie who as well has only played one game. Wouldn't it be wise to wait another week?

      jewels · 06/05/2015 at 11:40

Some of us still need to make some money unfortunately 🙁

      Redd · 06/05/2015 at 13:46

Hey Holty i think Mckenzie looked pretty good on the weekend and im confident he'll play more footy, not so sure about glenn although with bennel and maetera suspended it will give him a chance to grab a spot in the suns side. I was gonna trade Heeney for Mckenzie originally but dont wanna miss the downgrade option in my backline I.e when Kamdyn Mcintosh plateaus next week there may not be a viable down grade option in the backline if i have Mckenzie already selected in my mids. Then next week i can downgrade heeney he wont lose any cash cos hes injured and turn D.Rich into Pendles.

    Leon · 06/05/2015 at 15:41

be careful with dmac, highly rated but richo seems the type of offer them a couple of games and then back to the seconds. Glenn on the other hand is older in a mans body and playing for a side that has lost their best 4 midfielders. If you need to make a downgrade I would tend to look at glenn. Also comes down to what you plan for next week. If next week is a paint (up and down) two trade week then perhaps you will need to go a week early

Juzzy · 06/05/2015 at 02:09

Great video as always Lek.

Salem to Goddard seems to make perfect sense for me.

Depending on team selection I may be very tempted by Heeney to Glenn this week as it will give the potential down and up trades next week.

Enjoy the Little Creatures. Great drop.

    Leon · 06/05/2015 at 15:37

was thinking along these lines also….. will monitor heeney and if he is not named I will swoop. Great JS for glenn after the internal suspensions….

OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 02:13

Good Onya Lek, Keep pouring that genius out mate,
You even drink the right grog, We might have one together one day.

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 02:40

PS: As long as you won't try and force me into a conversation about Carlton FC.
    Carlton Dry is another story.

    Have they approached Bomber yet?

      LEKD0G · 06/05/2015 at 13:17

      Sources say not yet

      I don't have any sources

Juzzy · 06/05/2015 at 02:42

Bellchambers. Good call Hold. I may upgrade to Ryder as a F6 later.
Hold Griffin. He is getting paid way too much money to be this crap.
He will come good to vindicate his bulging wallet.

Mac · 06/05/2015 at 07:23

What to do with James Kelly?

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 09:24

Mac, I think you will be looking at a trade there.
News is that he has a ruptured testicle and will be out for the next month. So I would be looking at some options.
I would say 4 weeks minimum which is too long to hold him.

    My Opinion.

    Sarah · 06/05/2015 at 09:43

I'm just benching him at this stage as I have trading/upgrading priorities. McIntosh is playing well enough to cover him for the time being.

Tyler · 06/05/2015 at 07:33

I really want hold both trades this week, but some of those fallen premiums are too good a deal to pass up

Josh · 06/05/2015 at 07:46

Ok guys so

I don’t think I’m going to make any trades this week but next week I’m thinking of going heeney down to Glenn then trade Salem out for Goddard or someone around that

Also want to get pendles in but the best way to do for me is to trade griffin for him which I’m not so keen to do,

    Northernsoul74 · 06/05/2015 at 07:55

This would mean you couldn’t get McKenzie next week.

Phil · 06/05/2015 at 08:40

Salem to Glenn, Griffen to Fyfe…..done

    Tyler · 06/05/2015 at 15:56

I would hold off on those trades till next week mate. Glenn isn’t guaranteed any more games, salem can go up a bit more and it also gives you another week to think about griifin. He will come good

Jimmy · 06/05/2015 at 08:57

gonna make a trade to get either Buddy or Dustin, who am i better off picking?

    UDA · 06/05/2015 at 11:38

    Leon · 06/05/2015 at 15:43

buddy but he is still to bottom out IMO. dusty will just frustrate. Why not BJ? bargain at that price

      Jimmy · 06/05/2015 at 17:43

Yeah I’ve locked Goddard, he is a must imo

derek · 06/05/2015 at 09:06

Whose place did Glenn take in the Suns team last week, I forget. Just wondering about his JS (this week he is safe)

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 09:28

Derek, Pretty sure he is in for Swallow and his job security looks pretty good with the injuries and out of form players that they have at the moment.
Buying him next week if all goes to plan.

      Matt · 06/05/2015 at 13:49

Hi OldOcker, do you think it’s ok to downgrade to Mckenzie or glen this week to allow for getting the other one next week and using the cash to upgrade? I currently don’t have the cash to make upgrades and I still have goodes on the bench

    Spifflicator · 06/05/2015 at 13:48

Derek, The Suns have 16 players out this week, so take your pick. 5 will come back in the next week then nothing for a while. Barring injury or a total spud job he’s safe for a few weeks.

DramaLlama · 06/05/2015 at 09:14

Love your work Lekdog!

Don · 06/05/2015 at 09:16

Who is a better option out of Hannebery and JPK at this stage?

    Brillsy21 · 06/05/2015 at 09:24

      Don · 06/05/2015 at 09:41

        Sarah · 06/05/2015 at 10:20

He's got the history of being a consistent supercoach premium. Hannerbery's best past average is 101 so he doesn't have the proven history just yet of being an elite scorer.

        derek · 06/05/2015 at 10:21

I love watching JPK play. You don't see him much in general play, but as soon as there is a stoppage he appears! the more stoppages the better he scores.

        randomcliche · 06/05/2015 at 11:44

        Proven consistency and price.

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 12:01

JPK more of a chance of him doing better in the long run

Darren (McLovin) · 06/05/2015 at 09:21

Rich to Goddard and then move Goddard to the forward line?
Or Rich to a premo mid? ($580 spend)

    Holty · 06/05/2015 at 09:36

I wouldn't jump to soon on Rich mate. He is averaging 96 with more cash to make. If you want Goddard, I'd be looking elsewhere

Danny · 06/05/2015 at 09:38

I’ve identified a few options this week

1. Simple Bellchambers to Goddard

2. TBC to Goddard & Newton to JPK (not much Cash left)

3. TBC to Ziebell Newton to Pendles

4. TBC to Goddard Rich to Pendles

5. Hold

Do think Rich will have 90+ the next to weeks so happy to keep him for the foreseeable future,

    Danny · 06/05/2015 at 09:39

Could also go Newton for Pendles, JPK or Goddard also.

      Sarah · 06/05/2015 at 10:21

I think just bring in one premium for Newton. I'm assuming Bellchambers is there for ruck cover, so why trade him?

        Danny · 06/05/2015 at 11:08

Thanks Sarah, that’s probably the way I’ll go, TBC is there for back up just wish he’d out another 10-15 Pts a week

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:23

Hold TBC, his greatest value is his Ruc/Fwd, So if on of your ruckman go down. your covered, plus he's a decent stepping stone

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 12:00

    4. If TBC is not your backup ruck

    Jay · 06/05/2015 at 13:08

Might be better to hold Rich – he'll go up in value a couple more weeks – essentially enough so you can downgrade (or sideways) to Rocky come close to bye rounds or in R12

General Soreness · 06/05/2015 at 09:54

Don't shave from Movember 2011!! Hahahaha Gold!

    @themisfitsSC · 06/05/2015 at 11:18

made me spit my coffee that call

    LEKD0G · 06/05/2015 at 13:19

    Industry secret that one

sjp · 06/05/2015 at 10:03

Why isn't anyone talking about Adelaide's Scott Thompson, I know he has only played 3 games… but he is the second highest average scorer so far (Sidebottom in front with only one game) community, what are your thoughts?

    derek · 06/05/2015 at 10:23

he missed the start of the year so no-one started with him. People won't trade him in because he is a bit old and has had a few injuries. But the guy can play. He has Sloane, Danger & CEY in the guts as well, lots of competition.

      sjp · 06/05/2015 at 10:32

So I shouldn't trade in Scott Thompson? watching him play he has been looking very good but should I take the chance bringing him in? also i might go… Parker-L Neale, Neale with 91.8 disposal efficiency he is looking hard to pass

        Mister_Spock · 06/05/2015 at 10:56

He's had a great start to the season, and Supercoach favours the brave, and he'd be a great POD. Questions to ask / consider are: Crows have had a relatively easy draw to start with, will become more difficult to score in the latter half of the season, he's priced at $550K which is probably close to his peak (he definitely won't be scoring 130's each week) – an average of 105-110 is probably his ceiling. If Douglas and Sloane are out of action due to their injuries, he may cop more attention.

I think he's a solid M8/M9, but it may be more worthwhile looking at some of the fallen premiums heading into the byes, rather than someone close to his peak (e.g. Luke Parker, JPK, Priddis, Dangerfield, Floggard, as well as Selwood and Rockliff in a few week's time) especially as these guys have a greater ceiling

        @themisfitsSC · 06/05/2015 at 11:20

its a tough one, I as a crows man believe once crouch is back scotty may be a rested type player as season goes on, in saying that thou he could go bang bang bang all year. its one of those decisions that could make or break you, so you could end up a james Kelly with a broken nut or could end up a legend

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 10:45

sjp, Logical reasons for not talking about him? He is now 32 years old, His last 2 years he has averaged under 100 for the season.
Most would not have him finishing in the top ten midfielders this year. I am one of those.
He may well turn out to be a valid selection but I would consider it to be a big risk.
If you want to take a risk make sure you allocate another trade to upgrade him later in the year.

The best he has averaged in the last 4 years is 110.5 in 2012. Which is not a risk worth taking in my opinion.

      derek · 06/05/2015 at 11:48

Crouch will come into the team soon as well….too much competition for the SC points.

Dee · 06/05/2015 at 10:10

Griffen OUT, JPK or Parker in?

    derek · 06/05/2015 at 10:24

    sideways trade imo.

I would hold Griffin and use him to trade up to Rocky or Gaz.

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:26

Parker still has a week left to cheapen up. Hold one more week for both

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 11:57

Don't trade out Griffen unless everything is going well for you

    dognino · 06/05/2015 at 12:38

Griffins averaging more than Parker , why would you even consider that trade? I'm stuck with both griffin and Parker and wish to SC god I never picked either

Daz · 06/05/2015 at 10:15

Hey Community, looking to drop Salem n Ben Newton for 2 premos, 471k in the chest at this stage was looking at buddy and dahlhaus via DPP- looking for some POD action, wanted JPK n dal but was 10k short, good trade? Not sold on franklin, but don’t want Goddard as everyone is getting him this wk. 26 trades left.

    Sarah · 06/05/2015 at 10:22

You could go Dangerfield and Dahlhaus?

      SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:46

Can't see Dangerfield in the top ten Midsfielders.

    derek · 06/05/2015 at 10:25

Franklin is playing very well. I am always worried about key forwards, but he does seem to be an exception to the rule. Was waiting for his price to drop some more and get him as a buffalo bounce trade around the byes.

    OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 10:56

Daz, If you can afford to go up to 2 premo's that you are happy with that is a good move.
BUT if you are looking at dal (Dal Santo)? it maybe a good thing you were 10k short because dal is not playing he is out injured.
Sometimes the point of difference that you have is the time at which you bring a player into the team or trade them out, Not just the fact that everyone may end up with the same player.

      jewels · 06/05/2015 at 11:44

      He ment Dahlhaus mate 🙂

      derek · 06/05/2015 at 11:47

I think he meant Dahlhause from the dogs, not dal santo

        OldOcker · 06/05/2015 at 11:49

Cheers blokes I am getting too bloody old for this abbreviation stuff.
They should outlaw us blokes from using computers.

          David · 06/05/2015 at 15:17

It’s okay mate I thought he meant nick dal too

Gareth · 06/05/2015 at 10:25

Thinking of trading in Michael Barlow. Do people think he will average over 100 again or should I wait for better options (Sloane)?

    Trab Pukcip · 06/05/2015 at 11:09

Would steer clear of this one Gareth unless his role changes or there are some injuries. Is not playing in the guts this year. I wouldn't read much into his good score on the weekend as spent more time in the guts due to Pav and Walters going off (fyfe had to go forward a fair bit). Cant see him averaging more than 90-95 if his current role continues. Just my opinion.

      derek · 06/05/2015 at 11:45

Ross Lyon is freo's coach…..need I warn you again?

      Gareth · 06/05/2015 at 12:19

Thanks for the heads-up on Barlow's role. Desperate to get rid of one of my midfielders. Do you think Parker would be a better option?

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:27

barlow is a ball magnet keep, just unlucky at the moment not to get more ball

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 11:58

Wait on Sloane, I hear rumors that Barlow is being playing in a new role which is why he isn't scoring as great

Mister_Spock · 06/05/2015 at 10:46

Love your work Lekdog!

Community, should we be ditching Newnes for McDonald, or is this just a wasted sideways trade? Will Newnes come good? Am I better off waiting for my defensive rookies to fatten up and then upgrade them to McDonald, even if that means he'll be up around $530-550?

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:29

Newnes seems like to be doomed to average not higher than 80 for this season he gets balll but cant use it efficiently
I would stay away from mcdonald. Key defenders… we dont see them score big and consistant, simmo and smith are coming cheap

    derek · 06/05/2015 at 11:44

missed the boat on McDonald. key position player, stay away.

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 11:59

Newnes to McDonald sound good or even Pittard

      Rawkus11 · 06/05/2015 at 17:18

I like the Pittard option. Very consistent!

        SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:52

You'd better hope he's not consistent. From 2011 to 2014 he hasn't averaged over 67. If you think he's a breakout contender then that's a different call.

          Rawkus11 · 07/05/2015 at 15:36

That is what i meant side. He's having a consistent year and i'm considering him heavily. definite breakout year!

    demon · 06/05/2015 at 19:53

newnes looking like the next shaun atley atm, promised a breakout, but delivers a low ceiling and scores consistently around 70-80

dognino · 06/05/2015 at 10:50

I'm looking to pick up 2-3 R11 bye premos over the next few weeks , as My bye structure is currently 6-12-12.

Looking at Sloane in the mids as his price drops, up fwd dusty and one of either Bont or dollhouse. Is it too late to jump on the Bont? BE of 109 , so should still be able to get him around 500k ? Thoughts community?

Got my eye on rocky too, but that lad has to get on the park without injuring himself first

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:31

i would get on asap if you need to. After this week his low score of 82 will be irrelavent meaning his BE will drop to about 80, depeding if he scores 100 this week

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:08

It is not too late for the Bont, he hasn't gone over 500k yet

Locked and Loaded · 06/05/2015 at 11:03

Didn't elect to put Tarrant in last week only because of injury history it might've been a bad move but was just too uncertain about him. Salem to Webb this week looks like a great downgrade option and then can upgrade B.Goodes or Heeney. Thoughts?

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:29

not too many rookie options left, if webb is your last hope then go to him

Locked and Loaded · 06/05/2015 at 11:12

Also thoughts on Burgoyne as a fallen premium with Lewis and Hodge out will need to lift amd could play himself into some solid form

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 11:32

going to need to see some peformances first before getting him in

    The Ranger · 06/05/2015 at 11:32

    Very tempted by Burgoyne

@themisfitsSC · 06/05/2015 at 11:22

so I have cracked it this week and used one trade….. treloar out pendles in….. big head butt of the table as I write this

The Ranger · 06/05/2015 at 11:38

Morning all,
Is Judd – Goddard/Franklin a good move?
Goddard/Frankiln are both keepers in my opinion which Judd never was plus Judd will prob lose aniother 20K this week having already dropped 16K.
I don't have anty rooks that I'm ready to cull as I jumped from Salem to Tarrant last week and all the rest of them prob have another week in them at least.

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 13:33

question is will franklin bleed more cash or will he consistantly score 90+ from now on

Jeremy · 06/05/2015 at 11:45

Dahlhaus v Franklin. Please discuss

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:07

Dahlhaus, Franklin will leak more cash according to the Buffalo Jump in the JR magazine

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 13:33

Dahlhaus playing as an inside midfielder, vs a key forward

Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 11:57

Hey community! Just wondering what to do with Hodge. Hold OR Trade to rookie OR Sideways trade to a premo
Thoughts would be great thanks

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 13:34

unless you can deal with 3 weeks. i would trade

Mitch · 06/05/2015 at 12:01

Whats Mckenzie's job security looking like? wait till hes on the bubble or get in this week?

    northernsoul74 · 06/05/2015 at 13:39

Wait. Lever at the Crows might get a game this week so could also be worth a look at as a def rookie.

Pavos · 06/05/2015 at 12:20

Should I cull Salem and go pendles or hold and get him at the byes

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:06

Do it, you will need Pendles

Bluetackle · 06/05/2015 at 12:30

I have griffen and nathan jones finding it hard to hold them both seen as i have the cash to get rid of one to pendles any ideas on who would be the best to cull im leaning more towards jones as he is set to drop a heap more cash

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:07

Hold Jones, he is doing well if you take out the 40's score. If you have room to cull Griffen, do it

Adam · 06/05/2015 at 12:38

Brodie Grundy, can he keep it up all season or not?

    Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:05

    He could

    SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 22:03

Witts is close to a return from injury, Grundy seemed to be number one last year but Witts surpassed him. It's impossible to know without being in the inner sanctum.

Nato · 06/05/2015 at 12:47

Im tossing up between upgrading Salem to Dahl / Dusty / Buddy or trading Goodes to a def premium.
I dont have any cover in my def, but there arent any decent upgrade options i can see in that line so a fwd upgrade should be better in thoery (unless there's a late out in my def). i just dont want to pay top $$ for any of the defenders this year

What are the communities thoughts on this one?

Danners16 · 06/05/2015 at 13:05

Goodes to Def premo, Salem can still wait

Aaron Harvey · 06/05/2015 at 13:16

Has anyone else heard about dayne beams apparently he has hurt his knee, it was on some website but he is not on the injuiry list so is it a rumour anyone with more info can u please reply

Aaron Harvey · 06/05/2015 at 13:19

What has happened to jackson macrae, because the dogs are dominating he was smashing preseason, is it just because he cant handle the tag.

Aaron Harvey · 06/05/2015 at 13:21

How many points do u think u have to be off the leader to still be within a chance of 50k

    Tom · 06/05/2015 at 13:26

no more than a few hundred i would say

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 13:36

only a few hundred, the bye rounds are so important as its where it make or breaks your season

Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 13:35

if you can wait another week, then cull goodes

Tulendeena · 06/05/2015 at 13:38

Van Berlo > Glenn
Salem > Pendles

wait a week or not?

    Spifflicator · 06/05/2015 at 14:04

    Go now

      northernsoul74 · 06/05/2015 at 14:39

Go for it. NVB was ready to be culled last week so get him out.

Spifflicator · 06/05/2015 at 13:39

Advice needed community! Current team

Shaw Higgins Gibson Newnes Oxley Saad – McIntosh Goodes
Fyfe Lewis Sloane Treloar Griffen Cripps VDB CEY – Miller Heeney Blakely
Goldy Grundy – OBrien
Swan Franklin Gray McCarthy Hogan Salem – Clark Krakouer

Considering removing Salem & Goodes, although Goodes has been useful as an expensive loophole.

Option 1 – Double Up

Option 2 – 1up 1 down

Option 3 – Sack Griffen!
Salem> Ziebell

Option 4 – Double Down

I think I like the first two most of all, especially option 1. Would then likely do 1 or 2 downgrades next week to build cash again.

Any ideas other ideas also gratefully received.

    northernsoul74 · 06/05/2015 at 14:38

Do you see Ziebell and Pittard as genuine top 6 in their respective positions? If so, go for it, if not it seems you are just trading for the sake of it. You're better of waiting a week or so until you can afford the players you really want, not just the ones you can afford this week.

      SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:36

Agree with NS74. Like the first leg of Option 3 but not the second.

Ryan · 06/05/2015 at 13:44

I'm thinking about trading out

Salem for Glenn (because I would have traded him in next week anyway)
Griffin for Pendlebury

Or should I go for a Goddard/JPK this week and a Pendlebury later in the season?

    Rawkus11 · 06/05/2015 at 17:36

    Wait a week on Glenn

Holty · 06/05/2015 at 14:12

Does anyone know Taylor Hunts role this year? Is he playing as a tagger? I started with him as I thought he would score well but the last 2 weeks he has struggled.

Mitch17 · 06/05/2015 at 14:36

Well done Lekdog superb as always. Now with the hodge situation should I just trade him for houli or pittard or should just keep on the bench for 3 weeks and play mcintosh or n.brown instead ? And should I get rid of newnes or keep him ? What about a swallow keep or trade ? Cheers

randomcliche · 06/05/2015 at 14:37

Just seeking to confirm whether there is any mid season review of positions in supercoach before I trade out Rich. Also of note is Mitch Clarke position change in DT.

    Spifflicator · 06/05/2015 at 15:55

No changes mid season SC or DT only Fantasy

      randomcliche · 08/05/2015 at 11:23

creeky23 · 06/05/2015 at 15:15

Higgins and Lamumba in DEF? hold or trade bait?

    SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:29

    Trade Lumunba.

westcoasttillidie · 06/05/2015 at 15:25

Supercoach first timer here. Dont know what the hell to do with Lycett. Brought him in thinking he'd step up with big cox gone but instead nic nats looking solid while lycetts been dropped and adam simpson looks keen on mcguiness and sinclair. I'm thinking of moving bellchambers into R2 and picking up mcguiness on the bubble for my forward line to make some cash and cut my losses on lycett. Didnt wanna use TBC too early but thats what he was there for. Or should i just chuck lycett into F7 for a week or two to see how things pan out? Thanks

    northernsoul74 · 06/05/2015 at 15:32

I'd wait and see what the Josh Kennedy injury does for him.

      westcoasttillidie · 06/05/2015 at 18:15

yeah good thinkin i forgot about that cheers

David · 06/05/2015 at 15:32

I’m am new to supercoach so could someone please explain this to me. My team, like most has about 14 rookies. Around the byes we trade most of these fattened cows half up to premos and the other half down to rookies. Do these rookies brought in at the byes stay in our side for the rest of the season and are used at bench cover?

    Leon · 06/05/2015 at 15:52

tom · 06/05/2015 at 15:51

Birchall or Enright?

    Dave2008 · 06/05/2015 at 16:05

Tough call I’d go Birchall just with Enrights age. What’s the price difference?

      Matthew · 07/05/2015 at 11:55

I'd go Enright because he's just so consistent. With the defence as weak as it is this year, consistency is key. Always scores between 85-105

Tyler · 06/05/2015 at 15:58

What’s the bet Griffin will get 120+ this week

    Bailey · 06/05/2015 at 16:03

I’m tipping newnes will get 90+ now he’s been traded out by everyone

Dave2008 · 06/05/2015 at 16:09

I’m thinking I may even just downgrade Kelly and keep Goodes on the bench in my D. I want to upgrade M then F first depending on fallen premiums. The way the D are going there’s a chance who ever I bring in could b outscored by Saad Oxley or McIntosh anyway. But I want to downgrade Salem next week and bring in Gray for maybe Hogan soon Thoughts?

Alex · 06/05/2015 at 16:26

Do I cull Salem and get Pendles/Goddard/JPK, or hold till round 8 because I will most likely be double down trading next week. My team is avg 2100 but I need a point injection, but on the other hand I have 700k in the bank so if I build up the warchest… I can make more trades later on. Thoughts really need help community.

Jayden · 06/05/2015 at 16:47

Should we be considering I Smith, Rioli or Burgoyne?

These players will need to lift over the next couple of weeks

    davo · 06/05/2015 at 17:10

Iv had rioli all season he’s good for about 100 points a game

      BKW · 06/05/2015 at 18:33

Until he gets injured – don’t do it!

Jonathan · 06/05/2015 at 16:48

Anyone thinking Griffen to Sam Mitchell, has the easiest 4-5 weeks coming up with GWS, Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, St Kilda. Then the BYE Round. Must be thought of.

    Matthew · 07/05/2015 at 11:53

hes a good pick, considering hodge and lewis are out. I can see him averaging 110 over the next 5, and 100 for the season

Harry · 06/05/2015 at 17:33

Is Tom McDonald a good option to look at trading in??

    SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:24

He's definitely firming. His lack of track record due to his age is the concern,

Don · 06/05/2015 at 17:54

Who is more of a priority to trade out of Newnes and Lumumba?

    Ethan · 06/05/2015 at 18:27

newnes probably but wait cause theres not many options

    SideBySidebottom · 06/05/2015 at 21:22

    Flick Lumumba.

Mac · 06/05/2015 at 19:09

Thoughts on Goodes to McKenzie and Kelly to Rance, Taylor, Houli, McDonald or anyone else around that price range

3. votes · 06/05/2015 at 19:22

get on Josh glen and Daniel Mckenzie next week

Jono · 06/05/2015 at 20:53

Grundy or ryder as 2nd ruckman behind goldy ?

Declan · 06/05/2015 at 20:55

3 options this week community

1 OUT Griffen – IN Pendles (not much cash left)
2 OUT Griffen – IN JPK
3 Hold

Can't see Griffen being a top 8 Mid and can see the other two being top 4-5

    curt · 06/05/2015 at 22:07

    Going griff to jpk also.

Matthew · 07/05/2015 at 11:52

Double downgrade to McKenzie and Glenn next week is going to be a very common move, i can sense
