Round 5 is under way and a lot has happened. Pendles is reminding us why he’s a premo but Selwood underperformed again. The Doggies got up and Rocky was knocked out on 0.

A lot to talk about community so get into it!

I forgot to trade Tarrant in, big loss?

    kayden · 02/05/2015 at 18:13

Missing out on a fifa bit of money but I don't think he can mee the scores up. Rather krakour

Luck of the Irish · 02/05/2015 at 18:22

You should be able to still trade him in, unless the player you were looking to trade him for has already played (if so ignore this message)

    SCaddict · 02/05/2015 at 18:41

Yeah get him in for someone like Salem as he is looking like one of the must have cash cows this season.

    Wheels1987 · 04/05/2015 at 14:33

    yes.
    sorry to say

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:45

First trade needs to be him. Forget another week and who knows, you could be paying another 100k for him. Think of trading for Hogan as he's flatlined almost, but whatever you do, t's this week or never

    Rawkus11 · 05/05/2015 at 14:58

I did the same thing too Adam. Thought the game started at 7.40 and went to trade him in about 7.25 but game had started. Really stuffed up my strategy for the next two weeks. Fuming!

Craig · 02/05/2015 at 18:12

What do I do with juddy jock?

    LEKD0G · 02/05/2015 at 20:03

Hold until you can upgrade him, it's what i'm doing. Judd-Rocky looking mighty fine in a few weeks

      Bailey · 02/05/2015 at 21:06

With Rockliff’s 0 how much can we expect him to go down in price this week

        LEKD0G · 02/05/2015 at 22:06

        a lot

        Danners16 · 02/05/2015 at 22:42

        Approx $150k

        OldOcker · 03/05/2015 at 00:59

Rocky should go down $123,000 and have a break even of 290 but the multiplier that CD uses is normally changed about round 5 which will make a difference to the changes in price and B/E.
Wait and see but that would make his price $586,000 with a B/E of 290 on the current figures.

        Cheers.

Pick 3 to play out of tarrant, hogan, salem and bellchambers

    lostlarrikin · 02/05/2015 at 18:16

    salem bench

    Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 18:33

Tarrant and TBC, only because the Dees are playing Freo.

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:47

Tarrant Hogan Bellchambers. Some people hate Bellchambers, but he's consistent and a good choice if you need a ruck

KJU FC · 02/05/2015 at 18:13

Parker…

thought he had a good game today but supercoach wise he is really underperforming this year

    Jye · 02/05/2015 at 18:21

Wet weather didn't help. He was on 36 at QT before it started raining

    lostlarrikin · 02/05/2015 at 18:21

yeah think he's gotta go. TMitch made his case today and would be unlucky to lose his spot now.
As Jock said, everyone will be screaming his name in two weeks.
    Competition will be fierce.

      Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 18:32

It just hasn't been Parkers year so far, he keeps showing signs he's about to have a huge one and then little things go against him. I'm keeping the faith, his run of bad luck has to end sooner or later.

        BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 18:40

Yeah im with you. im sure he will get better. Just hoping its sooner then later. maybe he is waiting for most people to trade him out. Then will go big for just a few of us that kept him

          Swans2012 · 03/05/2015 at 10:10

If you’ve held til now then hold!

Trab Pukcip · 02/05/2015 at 18:21

Last mid spot – Vandenberg, krakour or Ellis yolman? Leaning towards Vandenberg.

    Jacob · 03/05/2015 at 13:04

krakoeur. CEY and Vandenberg have already gone up in price quite a bit. Krak will give you more cash in the end

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:48

for Money= Krakour. But if you have enough the go towards EYC. Won't make as much cash but a safer choice for points

@specialized_one · 02/05/2015 at 18:24

How about those Doggies! Bonti trade #noregret

Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 18:28

I know we all hate sideways trades BUT is anyone thinking of trading Stefan Martin in for say a Maric or a Nic Nat etc? I know I am. Martin for me was the buy of 2014, picked him up on the bubble and he absolutely tore it up for the rest of the year playing as the solo ruck. With Leuy dropped it looks like he's about to do it all over again in 2015. So very very tempting…

    BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 18:47

Im trying not to touch my rucks unless they are injured. I have NicNat and TBC. They arnt setting the world on fire, But so far are injury free. Guess this doesnt help

      Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 19:06

I know it's playing with fire, but still so tempting.

        Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:16

Leuy will be back though so wasted trade imo.
If you want to trade either of those guys it MUST be for Goldy.

          Jimi · 03/05/2015 at 09:41

          I already have Goldy

    Danners16 · 02/05/2015 at 22:41

    Keep faith in your premiums

    yurkins · 02/05/2015 at 23:55

trade to stefan asap for me

BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 18:37

Lewis or Fyfe for captain ? Does anyone have any thoughts ?

    SCaddict · 02/05/2015 at 18:44

Probably Fyfe as he could run amok against the Dees tomorrow. Lewis has struggled against North and at Etihad but history is only a guide at best.

So don't sue me if it all goes horribly wrong! 🙂

      BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 18:52

Was thinking that the Dees might all tag Fyfe, Lewis has had a lot of possesions but a lot of them not worth much. I wont sue you but im thinking Lewis. was going to go Boak last week but chickened out. History then tells me not to be chicken and go for it. Fyfe is due for a bad week. it seems this year that all premiums have bad games. Im thinking its fyfe's turn to put in a stinker. There is no method to my madness, But hey. no pain no gain

    @Rem_Wah · 02/05/2015 at 19:04

Fyfe will be a popular pick – Lewis is averaging 36-37 disposals a game this year but hasn't been scoring well. If he can clean up his efficiency he may go off.
Fyfe will be the safer option though.

      Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 22:30

Gee I hope you went Fyfe.

    Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 19:05

Tough call, it comes down to whether you think it's more likely Lewis can lift his DE% this week or whether Fyfe can break the Vince tag.

For what it's worth I moved the C from Fyfe to Sloan.

      stevie · 02/05/2015 at 20:59

Agree Sloan dog will go big this week, at worst 110

        Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 21:43

I need a bit more than that, my opponent VC'd Pendles.

        TheCompletePackage · 03/05/2015 at 00:08

Would be a big effort…he copped a battering last week against the Doggies. But hope you're right….he's in my team.

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:50

Normally i'd go Fyfe, but against the dees i have a bad feeling they might all tag him

FootyFanatic · 02/05/2015 at 18:47

Josh Glen is looking good, he is a Gold Coast midfielder playing his first game and is currently on 78 SC points at 3 quarter time

BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 18:56

I have Oxley on the bench as my emergency. Have Clancee pearce and Geary still to play. Who should I bench to get Oxley's score. Would be swapping with Goddard

    @Rem_Wah · 02/05/2015 at 19:06

    Pearce

      BundyBear · 02/05/2015 at 19:17

Thx for that. will do that

    Danners16 · 02/05/2015 at 22:40

    Pearce could be a tagger

Michael · 02/05/2015 at 19:45

COMMUNITY I AM IN URGENT NEED OF EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, I was going to trade in Tarrant for Lamb just before the game started to make sure Tarrant didn't get injured but forgot the time and got locked out so I am now stuck with Lamb and am likely going to miss out on 100k+, any messages of support would be much appreciated

    Trollo · 02/05/2015 at 19:59

    LOL… Sorry but unlucky

      CJay · 02/05/2015 at 20:05

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 20:14

    Hi Michael,

I feel very bad for you. But you have to be seriously "on the ball" in this comp.

Luckily it is early days. Dust yourself off, keep calm, and learn from it.

    You have time to recover!

    Cheers mate

    TheCompletePackage · 03/05/2015 at 00:15

Suck it up, get angry, and rip the heart out of next weeks opponent

    Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:13

You snoozed, you loozed. Suck it up crybaby.
Was that supportive enough 🙂 ?

    Dale · 03/05/2015 at 22:38

Michael I wouldn't stress to much mate, you should have ample rookies so trading in another rookie means one less trade, in the next 3 to 8 few weeks you'll be using on average around 9 trades, especially during the bye rounds.

I deliberately didn't trade in Tarrant this week due to his injury prone history even knowing he would increase $100k and when you consider each trade is effectively worth $150k to $200k It wouldn't surprise me if he gets injured in a week or too.

The guy is a band aid as soon as it starts to peel he'll fall apart. I'm in the top 1% with 27 trades left and it wont be long before I start doing a crouching one by trading my A$$ off.

    Good luck

ITS ON AT ETIHAD TONIGHT. Looks like the Hawks following in clarko's footsteps. We'll be sweating on Lewis and hodge at the MRP for striking. Not good at all!

    FootyFanatic · 02/05/2015 at 20:05

The Lewis one didn't look good at all, you'd think he'd get at least 2 weeks for it

      Jono · 02/05/2015 at 20:09

At the very least FFanatic. As if we didn't need for sc dramas.

        Jono · 02/05/2015 at 20:10

        *more

    Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:21

Hodge should get 4+ ! Swinging deliberate elbow to the jaw. Lewis also very late and swinging arm at nothing but head = weeks imo.

I needed a break, don’t have either of those guys.

    Dean · 03/05/2015 at 22:43

Lewis will get 4 weeks minimum and with a guilty plea he might get 3 weeks at the very BEST but could easily be 4+ weeks and the same with Hodge. There is very little consistency with the tribunal so who knows what will happen.

LEKD0G · 02/05/2015 at 20:05

Lewis is gone, sorry to those who traded him in.

    Jono · 02/05/2015 at 20:08

Had him from day dot but very ordinary from him.

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 20:22

Poor form from Lewis. Out for 4 I reckon.

      Juzzy · 02/05/2015 at 22:20

Yeah it poor from Lewis. At least it was in a contest.
What about Hodge though. Elbowed Swallow in the jaw at a stoppage.
It looked like a cage fighting move. He might be in more trouble than Lewis …

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:51

    Dodged a bullet there

JB · 02/05/2015 at 20:44

Lewis tries to take Goldstein out, how many weeks? Thoughts … Surely this is not what AFL is trying to promote … #goneski

    @Rem_Wah · 02/05/2015 at 22:43

    2 weeks, if lucky.
    Probably 3

      Derek · 02/05/2015 at 23:25

I reckon 1 for Lewis, reckless and low impact. Hodge might go for 1 or maybe 2 weeks, got him with his forearm and medium impact. Taylor I reckon will get 1 as well for his punch to Swallows ribs and Stratton should be ok.

        Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 00:08

        Good Call Derek.

        Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:25

You’re dreaming. Must be a Hawks fan.

          @Rem_Wah · 03/05/2015 at 10:33

I'm a passionate Hawks fan – What he did was unacceptable. 2-3 weeks is about right In my opinion.

        Dean · 03/05/2015 at 22:46

1 week are you a Hawk supporter? NO chance in HELL… 3 Weeks minimum BOTH…

@KingWinter7 · 02/05/2015 at 21:48

You take an uncontested mark on a lead and then go back and kick the goal…. how many SuperCoach points?

    OldOcker · 03/05/2015 at 01:10

How long is a piece of string? There are many factors taken into consideration regarding this situation. What stage of the game and how close the game is etc. Was it a match winning goal? Nothing is set in concrete as far as this scoring is concerned it's all about the influence on the game at the time and at the end of the game.

    Cheers.

Tyler · 02/05/2015 at 22:06

can we trade griffen out now? Starting to really annoy me now

    LEKD0G · 02/05/2015 at 22:07

    tell me about it

      Derek · 02/05/2015 at 23:26

Will be able to go Griffin to Rocky in a few weeks

    SCaddict · 02/05/2015 at 23:32

I got rid of him a few weeks ago and upgraded him to an elite. Could see he wasn't going to be anything close to a keeper mid so most coaches will need to trade him at some point during the season if they want a truly elite midfield. It's only a matter of when and how big a priority it is for individual coaches.

    Charlesy · 03/05/2015 at 01:39

Love to Tyler, he’s really really annoying me but I have Lewis so need to hold him while Lewis is out for 4 weeks!

    Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:28

Could be worse, you might have rage traded him to Treleor for example 🙁

    Dean · 03/05/2015 at 22:51

Depending how long before Rocky is back playing but he could quite easily be sub $500k 3 or 4 weeks after he gets back. I feel like im on BARGAIN HUNT…

KJU FC · 02/05/2015 at 22:22

surely we have to trade Griffen out now…

him and parker really stinking my midfield up

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 22:24

Griffin is under the microscope after tonight.

    Stickman · 02/05/2015 at 22:24

Agree with Parker, but still think Griffen will come good.

      jack · 03/05/2015 at 19:47

      shit call

    Ethan · 02/05/2015 at 22:25

    griffin yes
Parker hold. Wet weather today and gathered a lot of the pill. Just unlucky it was wet weather and had quite a few clangers

      OldOcker · 03/05/2015 at 01:15

You would have to expect that a true champ of the game could play in the wet weather after all it is a winter sport.
Never had either and won't be getting either of them in my team.

    Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 22:56

At least Parker has been fairly consistent and close to having some big scores, I think once he takes the step up he should pound out regular tonnes. Griff on the other hand is just a friggin roller coaster, don't know if I should get off or embrace the vertigo.

FootyFanatic · 02/05/2015 at 22:26

I feel sorry for James Kelly, he ruptured his testical

TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 22:39

Griffin struggles to be a real on field leader IMO.

He started really well, and then faded as WCE got on top.

Even so, I still think this Ryan can lift. Although, pretty dissapointed with his 2nd half output.

That said,

Griffo in my side for another week.

    Derek · 02/05/2015 at 23:27

I think he was about 42 at half time was ok, poor second half

Danners16 · 02/05/2015 at 22:39

So what are we all doing Griffen now? Is it worth trading him out in the coming week instead of upgrading a rookie into a premo?

Pat · 02/05/2015 at 22:42

Rookies showing up premos once again this week. Miller with 105, Oxley 148, and 86/85 for Cripps and Saad respectively. Meanwhile Parker and Lewis with 88, Swan with 85, Selwood 83, Maric 78, Franklin 76 and Griffen with 69. These rookies are starting to prove they should be named on our grounds not benches!

Nick · 02/05/2015 at 22:44

Vandenberg or Ellis-Yolmen on field?!?

    SCaddict · 02/05/2015 at 23:24

    CEY would be my tip.

It could be an ugly day for Dee players tomorrow if Freo bring their A game. I expect the Crows to lift collectively in the Showdown after last week's humiliation.

BigDropKick · 02/05/2015 at 22:52

Had 13 play , I am currently sitting on 1412 (Captain yet to play). Would this be a good score considering the high scoring round? How are you travelling ?

Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 22:53

I'm really hoping Gray doesn't play tomorrow. In 6 of my games my opponent has used Mitch Clark to loophole Pendles' VC score, but in doing so they've mostly left themselves with no extra bench cover in the forward line. I've had Krak on the bench ready to swing down for Gray planned all week. Fingers crossed.

Jono · 02/05/2015 at 22:53

Griff certainly providing a consistent roller coaster of scores.
70, 118, 77, 113 and then 69 tonight. On schedule to hit another ton next week perhaps?

Pom · 02/05/2015 at 23:12

What is up with J.Lewis scoring?? 117 on AFL website, yet a meager 88 supercoach?? Is it because he is not alex rance he gets points taken off by 'Chump Data'?

    SCaddict · 02/05/2015 at 23:20

It's been like that all season mate. He's averaging over 135 in Dream Team scoring through the first 5 rounds and is the permacaptain of choice in that game by a long way. Tonight was nothing new.

      Pom · 03/05/2015 at 00:21

Next time I'm going to pick a few players that Chump data have in their teams

    Jimi · 02/05/2015 at 23:20

Must have received the dirty player discount!

He also did sweet FA in the first half when the Hawks pushed out to a comfortable lead, maybe his efforts in the 2nd half were scaled accordingly. Still seems low considering his stats.

      Derek · 02/05/2015 at 23:30

I think he had 14 touches in 4th quarter once game was over.

I was pretty happy with SMitch tonight, though he might have got more than he did

        Pavos · 03/05/2015 at 09:08

        No

carlashirley90 · 02/05/2015 at 23:14

This year so far most premium selections of yester year are a joke. The ones going off are much younger and have little data to back up the performances of this years start but Iam losing confidence in Griffen, Dangerfield in my side

I know there is many more Premiums who are stinking it up with other teams too

    B-T · 03/05/2015 at 00:36

Hi Cs, spoke last week. Currently ranked in top #100. Back your premo's unless injury or dropped e.g. Minson.

jimmydowland · 02/05/2015 at 23:19

what to do with ryan griffen

Davo · 02/05/2015 at 23:26

Griffen and judd to Parker and Rockliff looking good in a few rounds

Bailey · 02/05/2015 at 23:30

Fyfe or gray as captain? fyfe is due for a stinker but If go with gray and he doesn’t play I had VC on goldy so only 92 points

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 23:37

Fyfe is the captain of the ship.

    mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:15

I'd go Fyfe, only compounded by the Grundy VC

    Jimi · 03/05/2015 at 09:46

I thought Gray was carrying an injury?

Derek · 02/05/2015 at 23:33

Tom Mitchell is a gun. Conditions suited him today, Swans will have to keep playing him.

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 23:45

    Yes.

Tom mitchell is back playing penetrating football.

Has to be seriously looked at trading in.

    Watch next week

    SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 00:54

Yeah if his JS wasn't so darn iffy there would be plenty of coaches who would snap him up on the bubble in another week.

But even if he plays the next couple of games he could be on the outer again in another month so unless you've barely touched your trades this season there is just too much risk there for many.

      Bontemgasmic · 03/05/2015 at 03:05

      suggest you watch Longmire's presser

was pretty under enamoured with his performance – not sure what Mitchell is doing wrong but there must be something Horse doesn't like.

        Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:36

When he gets it in traffic and just hoists it over his shoulder in hope rather than look for the handball out the back or side is what keeps him in the reserves and will do again. Too risky a pick for Supercoach. Otherwise he works tirelessly for the team and is tough as nails. The team needs him every wet weather game and against the really tough midfields imo.

          Lazy_Simmo · 03/05/2015 at 10:45

Horse really doesn't like him eh.

Peter · 02/05/2015 at 23:47

Which combination gray krakouer or gray Vandenberg

    mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:14

    Vandenberg for me

Brook · 02/05/2015 at 23:49

Need 2 of these three: CEY, VDB, Krak … Thinking it will be VDB who gets the chop due to tougher opponents in freo

    TOPHAWK1 · 02/05/2015 at 23:56

VDB will stand up against Freo. I think Krak will struggle in the showdown.

      Pat · 03/05/2015 at 01:41

Also chance of Krak to get the sub Vest with Ah Chee out. Even if not the starting vest he may be subbed off as theres a pretty talented Port squad playing

    mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:13

I'd play CEY and VDB. Also, if Krak cops the snot vest you're stuck with him…

    brook · 03/05/2015 at 08:51

thank … bit worried about freo as opponents but will back him in … he is a good player and hasnt let me down yet

mysterycannon · 02/05/2015 at 23:54

I've had patience with Kolodjashnij, Newnes and Parker and will stick with them! But i'm fresh out of patience with Griffin. I'll take my chances on the "don't trade premos" rule. He looks nothing like a premo anymore.

    Hughsey · 03/05/2015 at 10:25

I would be doing the same except I have Lewis 🙁

    SCOTLAND THE BRAVE · 03/05/2015 at 20:20

Me too kept the rest but Traded Griff 2 weeks ago for Martin as they were pretty much same price. Seemed like a mistake after last week but happy with that trade after this week. Martin is a keeper in the fwd line so swung him forward and moved Miller off the bench in the mid. Worked a treat this week. Sticking with Parker as he had bottomed out now and his price and scores will start heading north. That said went Mitchell over Parker last year and Parker over Hannas this year. Can’t get the bloods right.

Tet · 02/05/2015 at 23:57

What do i do with Minson? want to get him out this week and im thinking the downgrade to Grundy is an alright option
Thoughts community???

    yurkins · 03/05/2015 at 00:46

up grade trade to stefan asap for me

    Mike · 03/05/2015 at 09:09

Minson will be back next week. Cordy got MURDERED in the ruck yesterday by Pike.

      Kev · 03/05/2015 at 10:29

Cordy got murdered last week against Jacobs… Won't be surprised if Jong lines up as their ruck next week, 9 hitouts!

    Crowmagnon · 03/05/2015 at 20:30

I went to Blicavs. Happy so far.

mysterycannon · 02/05/2015 at 23:58

Looking for some community help.

My matchup comes down to:

Me: Neale, TBC, Brodie Smith and (one of Salem/Hogan/Krakour)
Him: Jacobs, Danger, Hogan and Salem

Not feeling too confident, but would love some help as to if I should play Salem, Hogan or Krak.

    Ethan · 03/05/2015 at 00:12

your in a bit of a pickle here
9 times out of 10 your opponent will out score you

      mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:24

Here's hoping this is the one time..

    Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 00:18

    What's the point difference?
That's the big question as to play Krak or not.

      mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:23

Couple of points so it's a straight 4 v 4 contest now. I'm more likely to play one of the Melbourne lads in case Krak cops a vest. Just not sure over Hogan or Salem.

Major Mooseknuckles · 03/05/2015 at 00:32

Just want to throw some names around to gauge others feeling’s on Harry Taylor and Bachar Houli regarding premium defence options. Both in isolation are making serious impact thus far IMO!

Cheers guys

    yurkins · 03/05/2015 at 00:48

Bachar Houli really looks to have lifted his game so ill be swapping kelly for him.

      Major Mooseknuckles · 03/05/2015 at 01:01

Was going to bring him in myself just unsure if the boat has sailed already

Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 00:37

So play Hogan and Salem.
If you guys are even on points it just means Neale ,TBC and Smith have to outscore Danger and Jacobs.
If they all score 70 and the other 2 score 100 then you win.
P.S. Sorry if you lose.

    mysterycannon · 03/05/2015 at 00:53

I've only got one spot for Salem or Hogan. He's playing both.

So it's a case of picking whoever I think will score most from them two. But i'm confused…

    OldOcker · 03/05/2015 at 01:36

@Juzzy, Are you Irish or just drunk. Have a good sleep tonight and then come back and read this again.
Maybe I am just suffering from old age and have trouble understanding some things.

      Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 02:51

      Yep OldOcker,
A little from column A and a little from column B.
Sorry to Mystery. I didn't read the post correctly.
In answer to the initial question ….. Dunno, but gee Hogan looked mighty last week.

        Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 03:04

        P.S. OldOcker,
I have read many of your posts on this site and would like to thank you for your insight and wisdom(s).
Good luck to your SC team this year.

          OldOcker · 05/05/2015 at 23:55

Gee I must be getting old, I can't even remember writing that post it seems so long ago.
Probably still hung over from Anzac weekend.
Just thought I had better check my emails, I don't get many.

Long time since I have seen a young lad like Hogan, Very impressed by him and he will definitely be the last rookie traded out of my forward line.
Thanks for the praise mate you are welcome, Currently ranked low 800,s.
Hope you are going well too.

          Cheers.

Ethan · 03/05/2015 at 08:21

Lonie of TBC?

    Ethan · 03/05/2015 at 08:22

    to start on field

    Tyler · 03/05/2015 at 08:35

    tbc

Pavos · 03/05/2015 at 09:05

He has, Gray, newnes, c Pearce, ibbo, n.browns score to count, Fyfe, Ellis yolmen, Salem.

What do I do his 600 points in front with 4 extra score, but I have 148, captains score, Fyfe and Sloane

Dom · 03/05/2015 at 09:35

Salem or Hogan?

    Harrison · 03/05/2015 at 09:50

    hogan IMO

Luke · 03/05/2015 at 09:46

Fyfe or Sloane as Captain? Cheers

    Harrison · 03/05/2015 at 09:48

fyfe IMO but sloane could get back from last weeks performance

      Luke · 03/05/2015 at 09:56

Thanks mate. My thoughts too sloane may go big due to last week being poor. But Fyfe may be the safest option.

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 10:59

    Fyfe by a fair margin

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 13:30

Fyfe. I had Sloane as captain last week and that was agony. Fyfe will do the job.

Luke · 03/05/2015 at 10:11

vandenberg or krak on?

    Kev · 03/05/2015 at 10:26

    VBerg

tom · 03/05/2015 at 10:30

is the bont the real deal?

another good score yesterday in the wet…

considering him for a sideways trade for Griffen

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 10:42

I have Bont and am happy with his output. Definately worth looking at. I also like the look of Tom Mitchell. Had a cracking game in the wet yesterday with 114 SC points. Not bad for his first game of the season. He is a bargain at $405K. I am seriously looking at him as a replacement for the under achieving Griffen. I might give Griff one more week to look at Mitchell next week before his price change.

    Cheers

      Derek · 03/05/2015 at 10:58

The conditions really suited Mitchell. He is good player. Have a look at him next week hopefully in dry weather

    Ethan · 03/05/2015 at 11:18

i wouldnt move bont into the midfield unless you have a plan to move him into the forward line soon

      tom · 03/05/2015 at 11:25

yeah, if I trade in Bont I will definitely be swinging him into the forwards once Hogan/Clark fattens up and I can upgrade one of them

Kev · 03/05/2015 at 10:37

Player a) 33 disposals, 5 contested, 69% d.e, 8 marks, 4 tackles, 6 I50, 4 R50, 3 clangers, 1 goal
Player b) 29 disposals, 6 contested, 75% d.e, 7 marks, 4 tackles, 5 I50, 1 R50, 2 clangers 1 goal

Player a) Mitchell – 116sc
Player b) Lewis – 88 sc

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 10:43

Did you watch game? Lewis had 14 touches in last quarter after game was won. Mitchell had 10 in the first 15 mins. Big difference when they have their disposals.

I thought Mitchell’s score was low.

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 11:00

Very similar stats for both players, and yet a huge difference in the SC scores. 26 SC points. (Mitchell score 114 not 116)

The Supercoach game administrators do need to clarify exactly how points are allocated. We know points are awarded/deducted for specific onfield player actions, but it appears there are other "variables" used in determining a players final score. Based on the pure/similar stats between Lewis and Mitchell, I struggle to comprehend the 26 point difference in the players scores.

Perhaps I am missing something here. If anyone can shed some light on this often discussed player scoring issue, please let me know!!

    Cheers

      Derek · 03/05/2015 at 11:11

I’m a hawks fan and thought Lewis had a poor game and was lucky to get what he did, where I thought Mitchell should have scored more

Surely you understand the important times of a game. Lewis gets 3 clearances in last quarter can not be worth the same as say Langfords 3 centre clearances in the first quarter

        Luke · 03/05/2015 at 12:30

All depends on what quarter too and if it was an important moment in the game or not. Heaps of factors make up the scores

Pauly Walnuts · 03/05/2015 at 10:55

J.Lewis – do we :
2 Weeks – keep him
3 Weeks – think about keeping or trading him based on Team Structures,Bench Coverage,Rookie Upgrades ect
4+ Weeks – trade him
I personally reckon he will get 3 ,Thoughts anyone ?

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 11:04

I think 1 week, it was reckless. It it was Miriam Impact he might get 2. Depends on Doc report

      Derek · 03/05/2015 at 11:05

      Medium impact

    SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 12:09

If he was going great guns SC scoring wise you'd keep him even if he was out for a month. But he's been racking up the possessions with decent DE and struggling to ton up which is a major concern and a mystery only Champion Data can answer.

In fact there is a whopping 25 point discrepancy between his Dream Team average of 135 and his Supercoach average of 110 in his first 5 games in 2015. In 2014 both his Supercoach and Dream Team averages were identical at 109 so there is definitely something fishy going on. This 'anomaly' is certainly making him more tradeable than would otherwise be the case.

It's like CD made some tweaks under the hood to the disposal scoring system in the offseason. It may also explain why so many of our premos have been so unreliable or disappointing in 2015 more so than any previous season I can remember. God knows what Jordo's scores will be like when he only gets 20 or 25 touches in upcoming games.

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 12:32

I think he will cop 3 and maybe 4. Not only was it reckless, it was bordering on intentional. If the MRP deems it to be as such, he will go for at least 3.

      derek · 03/05/2015 at 12:36

i still think it was reckless. it was very late, but i'm sure they will give him benefit of the doubt regards the intension. 1 maybe 2 weeks

        derek · 03/05/2015 at 12:37

its a pity, Hawks have a few soft games coming up, the type of games that Lewis loves and would have gone big

Luke · 03/05/2015 at 10:56

both me and my opponent have hogan on field, is it worth me bringing on lonie instead if my opponent is currently in the winning position?

    pom · 03/05/2015 at 11:43

If thats the only player you have left to play….yes definitely!

Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 11:36

Swallow gets subed off at 3 qtr time with 68 points ends up with 83

    SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 12:02

You've gotta love this game! I'm sure it all makes sense to the CD guys. 😉

      TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 12:34

Its almost turning into a lottery!! Still love Super coach though. Lets hope the CD guys come out and clarify things at some point.

        Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 12:44

I hope so too getting very confusing although I did enjoy the extra points

    I N Pieman · 03/05/2015 at 12:52

James Kelly got subbed for 80 with a busted nut. Finished with 95. Sympathy points for sure

      Swans2012 · 03/05/2015 at 14:11

      And well deserved sympathy points!!!

        SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 14:23

Yeah they should've doubled his score. No bloke should suffer that fate.

          the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:46

so true! a cracked aggit must be painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andy · 03/05/2015 at 12:31

Hey community,

No doubt we are looking to do some upgrades this week. It’s a tricky one as my rookies are performing so well. I considered going to Oxley to B Smith then he went bang.

I’ll likely trade Rich who doesn’t have much more money to make. Hanners and Sloane look like good options at the moment.

I’m not a fan of side ways trading but Griffins inconsistent scores are frustrating. I’ll hold him for one more week and see how he goes.

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 12:46

Yep. I agree with you. Oxley is such a bonus for our backlines at the moment. In fact so far a few others have done really well in my backline also. (Shaw 122 and Saad 85). Makes for a nice change!

If I had Rich I would look at moving him on as well. Keep an eye on Tom Mitchell as well. He played a great game yesterday in the wet. (114 SC). I am watching him closely next week. Griffin faded BADLY against the eagles last night. He started OK and then just was unsighted for the rest of the game. Very dissapointed. He is in the "last chance saloon" next week. A fallen premium is the target for me to replace Griffin. (Luke Parker, Selwood, JPK and even Gaz and Rocky later on)

    Cheers

      I N Pieman · 03/05/2015 at 12:59

Griffen is a spud. For me now it’s when not if I get rid of him. The bloke has 0 ticker. Will send him to a super premo asap. He’s a stain

Sloane · 03/05/2015 at 13:08

I really like stefan Martin and really want to upgrade to him
But concerned whether leuenberger will come into the side and impact his scores

    SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 13:29

Too much of a risk for mine. The Lions are tracking so badly it's impossible to predict what Leppa may do in the coming weeks. If and when Leuey comes back in that will put a dent in Martin's ceiling.

eatemalive · 03/05/2015 at 13:37

Lonie or Krak on the ground ? It's going to be a fine line for when the Teams get announced for Kraks game before Lonies games start , just wanna avoid the Vest if I can either way.

    SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 14:22

In theory we should have about a 10 minute window there. If Krak avoids the vest he'll be my pick.

      SCaddict · 03/05/2015 at 15:18

Wright and Polec are the subs so Krak avoids the snot vest.

        Pauly Walnuts · 03/05/2015 at 15:21

        cheers

          Robert · 03/05/2015 at 15:28

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 18:02

Fyfe should cruise to an easy 130 SC points. Just another day at the office for the wolf.

Bluetackle · 03/05/2015 at 15:27

Ejecting griffen and salem both massive stains

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 18:04

Salem got the chop last week, and Griffen is on his bike this week. He was pathetic against the eagles.

Tyler · 03/05/2015 at 15:43

Salem is going to be pretty close to his max price soon, almost time to trade him out

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 16:39

I think so too. Traded him out this week for Tarrant. Only scored 50 this week. Will go up a little as his B/E was only 17. You have to cull a few Melbourne Rookies in preparation for the byes.

Steve · 03/05/2015 at 16:27

Krakouer or ellis-yolmen on field?

shane savage – what to do with him?? Mick was bullish on him early this season, but his form has been poor of late..

Mike · 03/05/2015 at 17:23

Shane Savage you useless C**T! Touch the football!! Kick it! Handball it! Ever since I bought you in you’ve acted like the footy has ebola.

Glenn · 03/05/2015 at 17:33

Spewing I acted on Mick's opinion and brought in Savage, made a fool of me, cheers Mick

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 17:59

Savage is a serious burnman. What a joke his game was today. Now we all know why Hawthorn got rid of him. Absolutely useless.

Derek · 03/05/2015 at 17:34

I played both Hogan and Salem on field, going to cost me dearly. At moment I need TBC to beat Krak by 38 pts. Unlikely although he doing ok to 3/4 time

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 19:34

Krak tried very hard to stink it up, didn’t quite make it

Michael · 03/05/2015 at 18:41

Have AGAIN stuffed the C up – tossed up between Gray & Sloane, of course picked Sloane as I thought he would make up for poor game last week, and wasn't sure Gray was 100%.
Approaching 3/4 time: Gray 100, Sloane 67

Come back God Jnr!!!!

Michael · 03/05/2015 at 18:44

Can anyone tell me why every SC game needs to be a total SC score of 3300? Doesn't really make sense to me, and is obviously the reason for the scalings up & down at the end of the game. Why can't there just be genuine SC scores regardless of what it adds up to at the end?

    Mike · 03/05/2015 at 18:50

    +1

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:10

Yeah, if you have players in a team which completely dominate the opposition, your player(s) suffer(s) because most of the 3300 points are shared amongst the dominant team, and hence the lower individual scores. I reckon its BS.

But it just means from a tactical point of view to pick good scoring players from teams which are less dominant.

    demon · 03/05/2015 at 19:26

Well a good example is dogs v swans, a wet game, efficency way down and not many marks taken,
It would be unfair to mark these players down compared to saints v bombers or hawks v north played under the roof in perfect conditions.
If you don't like it you've got dream team there for you

      michael · 03/05/2015 at 20:08

No need to arc up demon, I’d much rather SC but I simply didn’t know why it was set up this way. Unlike yourself who seems to know it all, thanks to those of you with far more constructive answers.

        demon · 03/05/2015 at 21:24

relax mate I was just saying how it is

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 19:32

That is why I don’t have Hawks in my team

    the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:43

its set up so each player is worth about 75 points i think- and that score equals an average game 🙂

Davo · 03/05/2015 at 18:51

Yet again, guess who’s stuffed me this week

    Bluetackle · 03/05/2015 at 19:02

Sloane has cost me two weeks in a row now just subbed out

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:02

You put the C on Sloane? I did last week and just plonked it on Fyfe this week. Thank christ!

I am worried about batman Sloane. He doesnt seem quite right. Just got subbed off.

      Derek · 03/05/2015 at 19:30

      Thompson is hurting Sloane score

        TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:35

Yes. It is starting to look that way. If this continues, Sloane could be a perfect "switch" for Rocky or Gaz in a few weeks.

        demon · 03/05/2015 at 19:35

sloane playing badly is hurting his score a wee bit more I'd say

    SideBySidebottom · 03/05/2015 at 20:07

So within three weeks Sloane has gone from a Captain lock to a spud? Really?
    Slight overreaction methinks.

Mike · 03/05/2015 at 18:52

Lost a league game by a point thanks to Treleor and Savage scoring less than half their average. Both of them have spudded big time ever since I brought them in. Learning the hard way – no sideways trading.

Cozza · 03/05/2015 at 19:02

Does anyone know whether Rockliff's 0 score will count in his average, or will it register as a DNP? Will be very cheap around bye times now (assuming he gets up to play in the next week or two) 🙂

    Bluetackle · 03/05/2015 at 19:03

    Will count

    Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 19:05

Yes it will, cannot wait to see his breakeven and price drop

      TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:32

I know. It will be absolutely massive! Both the biggest in Super Coach history I think. His break even might be around 320 and his price might crash by $150K. Not the start to the season Rocky was looking for! The vultures (me included) will be hovering to get him back into the team in around a month when his price bottoms out. (If he plays)

      Cheers

        Girdle · 03/05/2015 at 19:43

Fan Footy predicts price drop around $580k and BE of 337. Wait till he can string some games together first though. The way his luck is so far, you know?

Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 19:09

NVB 42 with 8 minutes to go in the last, not looking like he will beat his breakeven

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:26

Time to move NVB on I reckon.

TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:18

Gee arent we all glad we put Ellis Yolmen on the field. He is looking awesome. 10 tackles if you dont mind.

Commiserations if you put the C on Batman Sloane.

I thought about it, but decided on the wolf. :-))) He is the Ablett captain replacement. Gets it done week in week out.

Tyler · 03/05/2015 at 19:31

Newnes to score 90 they said???? Reversed my Houli trade due to this resounding comment. He get flicked this week so does that spud Griffen

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:41

Sorry to hear about missing Houli mate.

Griffin is playing like a stuffed potato. People keep telling me…keep him, keep him! He will pump out big scores. Well his "dud scores" outnumber his supposed big scores (118 and 113). Even those "big scores" are not that big. Griffen is OUT.

I can live with Newnes for now as he is not dropping a lot in price and is output, despite being below expectation, is not that bad.

      ThatDamnRascal · 03/05/2015 at 19:43

I've got the cash to go Griffen to Pendles and Newnes to Houli. Hanging out for lock out to be lifted

        TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:57

I reckon if you have the cash trading Griffen to Pendles is like selling the used Hyundai to a brand new Merc! Good trade.

Newnes to Houli is like trading out a wannabe pretender to a proven stayer. Good trade.

        Cheers

        SideBySidebottom · 03/05/2015 at 20:42

You're chasing the last round's points. Houli's last four years averages have been 89, 83, 92 and 83. If you're happy with those averages go for it but don't expect a one hundred plus average. It may happen but probably won't.

          ThatDamnRascal · 03/05/2015 at 22:36

Houli will be more of a keeper than Newnes. Watched Newnes today and couldn't believe how I fell for the preseason hype around him. He's not even a sweet potato in a spud factory.
Houli will give consistency at the very least. Those averages will be a d1 or d2 defender this year.

      Juzzy · 03/05/2015 at 21:05

      I like TopHawks analogy.
      Pendles is a new Merc.
Trading Newnes to Houli might be like trading an old XF to a new one with a better starter motor though.
      Starter motors are cheap …

the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:38

go chomp on a mouthful of jatz crackers sloane you week fudge. 2 weeks in a row now they say youre out for a few weeks? go and pipe the skin flute.

and you better release another higgins song higginbotham or i am trading that flog out!!

Tulendeena · 03/05/2015 at 19:39

2130

Not sure how i feel about that

    Cozza · 03/05/2015 at 20:42

Beats my 2046 – been a bad couple of weeks 🙁 Thought I was going ok, but had too many players score in the 80s, and spuds from Salem, Hibberd and Hogan didn't help – Salem and Hogan can be excused though for being rookies.

the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:39

rocky 294BE SC before the game…. thats a 100K price drop plus another huge BE tocome…. he'll be 480 before byes… cha ching…. unlucky if you have him.

Leon · 03/05/2015 at 19:41

community… random thought for next week

Is it time to cash in on rich? Started to get tagged against a very week suns midfield and struggled to 89. 420k now but not sure he will make much more.

So who to upgrade to? have 270k in the kitty.
Do I go to the fallen premium in parker, will be under 500k and thus it might only cost be 70k to upgrade. Great next 5 weeks coming up for the swans and I see him as a keeper at M3/4
Or do I go up to pendles, slip him into M2 for 200k

Other option is griffen to pendles and rich to parker. Would mean I have Fyfe, Pendles, Sloane, Selwood, Parker and beams as my top 6 mids coming to the bye. Add ablett and rocky to that and I am happy with that midfield.

Where is everyone with boak? At the bottom of his price and port are starting to motor.

Also interesting to note that ryder has started to fit in and could be a good upgrade option once clark, Hogan and salem fatten.

Pavos · 03/05/2015 at 19:41

What did sloane score

    Tulendeena · 03/05/2015 at 19:48

    67

tom · 03/05/2015 at 19:43

scored 2144.

is that a par score this week?

currently in the top 1% and hoping that this score will keep me there.

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 19:49

That is a good score without being great. I scored 2128 this week. I will take it after last week's debacle.

Honestly, your score will see you slip modestly in the rankings. I am in the top 4% and I will be lucky to hold my ground this week.

    Cheers

the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:53

lewis and hodge can enjoy some weeks off. hodge straight to tribual for 3-4 ya stupid muppet for intentionally smashing him-great role model…. and you can go straight to the tribunal as well lewis you guuter flog.

and lewis the farken thug- gutless wonder intentionally smacking goldtein…. give lewis no weeks and give goldy 12 rounds with him in the ring and see who the tough guy is.

but thats the hawks hey- with a thug maggot like clarko what do you expect? small little man syndrome clarko and his dirty game plan. enjoy ya time off lewis ya weak flog

    dannyyboyy · 03/05/2015 at 19:57

You my friend need to find another forum for your spittle

      TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:01

He is obviously not a Hawthorn Supporter. LOL

Maybe a Swans fan? or perhaps a Dockers fan? Hehehe

        Swans2012 · 03/05/2015 at 20:12

Don’t Palm him off onto us… I reckon freo

          Derek · 03/05/2015 at 20:22

Brad Sewell will look after them.

I reckon both will get a week

          TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:36

Of course! Has to be a Freo fan. Silly me.

          LOL

    SideBySidebottom · 03/05/2015 at 20:45

You need to readjust the nozzle there buddy. You've gone from the sprinkler to the sprayer.

Darren · 03/05/2015 at 19:53

Scored a nice 2220 but my league opponent just had to break out a 2422

    Derek · 03/05/2015 at 20:09

I scored 2238 and managed to win 5/10 leagues. So I’m thinking I was around Par.

Iamme · 03/05/2015 at 19:55

2342 Best for the year

Thank You Clancee

the sprinkler · 03/05/2015 at 19:57

only 2112 this week. thanks sloane again…. and you too higgins, salem, hogan and griffen for a total of about 230 for you 4 useless sprogs.

Ryan · 03/05/2015 at 20:05

2311 last week, 1961 this week, sheesh.
Thanks Walters (16), hibbo and Brodie smith

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:24

    Its a cruel game.

One week you are on a high, and the next its absolute despair.

I had a better week because I put the C on Fyfe instead of Sloane like I did last week.

Still have have some flogs to deal with,
    1- Griffin
    2- Newnes
    3- Walker
    4- Lumumba

and have a new emerging challenge with Sloane.

I reckon it will be a "bang bang" trade week!

    Cheers

      Ryan · 03/05/2015 at 20:30

I'll personally be bringing in ryder for tbc and ziebell for walters

        SideBySidebottom · 03/05/2015 at 20:36

Before you make that decision I should make you aware that Ziebell is german for Kamikaze (which is Japanese for an irrational capacity to do major self harm for a delusional reason).

jack · 03/05/2015 at 20:06

Griffen sucks! Funny how the bulldogs are going good without him! Cooney and griffen leaving was the best thing that happened to the bulldogs. I'm forced to keep griffen for at least another couple though. Newnes is worse and will probably get rid of him for a houli or goddard.

Hughsey · 03/05/2015 at 20:27

Newnes was stiff to not score more, had about 10 more disposals than Sloane yet only a few more supercoach points?

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:39

He had a few clangers which kills your score.

TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:42

Rockliff has dropped 130K in price. Wow

nathan · 03/05/2015 at 20:42

Most of my team can get f…..
Killing my soul every week
Griff has to go this week
And I’m bringing in goldy to the rucks
And now Lewis to have a couple of weeks too just helps me out so much
I’m falling away from the pack faster then my nans car racing up against an F1 around Albert park

Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 20:45

Rockliff down 130k, Tarrant up 100k BANG!

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:49

    Bloody bewdiful isnt it?

tom · 03/05/2015 at 20:48

do we trade griffen?

    Jdogg · 03/05/2015 at 20:53

I am going to hold Griffey for one more week while I see what happens with rocky. That is a bargain in the making!!

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 20:54

    YES.

Griffin will be traded out of my side this week.

    I have lost patience.

    Period

Sim · 03/05/2015 at 20:50

so annoyed at myself right now. 🙁

Didn't do the captaincy loophole properly for pendles score and lost 220 points for that.. kill me now

Leon · 03/05/2015 at 20:51

Who is a good ruck to bring in? I have $566,500 to spend. Please help

    BCHawks · 03/05/2015 at 20:54

S.Martin seems to be in good form and is a nice POD.

      Michael · 03/05/2015 at 21:45

Not for long, currently #2 ranked ruckman for points scored and has been for 2 weeks.
A reflection on just how bad rucks have been this year – Blicavs is #3!

        Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 22:06

ill be trading bellchambers to martin

Leaves me with goldy and martin as my two rucks, pretty excited!

tom · 03/05/2015 at 20:51

mcintosh to enright

or sideways griffen?

Bailey · 03/05/2015 at 20:56

NVB to D Mackenzie by swinging newnes into the guts then newnes for who ever I bloody want. What do we think

    TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 21:03

I like it…….a lot…..Mc kenzie is the def-mid floater we have been looking for. Scored a very nice 69 SC points today.

Heeney out and Mc Kenzie in.

Then Griffen out and a gun midfielder in!!

    BANG BANG!!!!

      Michael · 03/05/2015 at 21:42

maybe wait til he's on the bubble, I'm sure we've all been stung in the past by a rookie getting injured 2nd week (I know I have a few times!)

    Davo · 03/05/2015 at 22:21

Myself I have 4 rookies in my back line I just wonder if trading a mid rookie for a def rookie would be a waste of a solid def rookie. When it comes time to trade out these fattened def rookies a good def rookie pick has been already used to trade out a mid, not leaving many options.

Tulendeena · 03/05/2015 at 20:57

There is noone to trade nvb to.

I guess I will just hold…

    Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 21:05

    Glenn from gold coast

      Tulendeena · 03/05/2015 at 21:09

      wow, he seems noice

      will be making that trade

        Michael · 03/05/2015 at 21:41

I'd wait a week to be sure.

Michael · 03/05/2015 at 21:02

Need to get Fyfe in this week, was going OUT Lamb IN Fyfe via MID/FWD swing with Krak.
Now with Sloane under a cloud thinking maybe straight swap and still have $500K in the bank.
Anyone know more about Sloane's condition?
Says a calf on afl.com.au, did it look bad or just a precaution?

    Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 21:06

    just a corky mate

Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 21:04

Bellchambers to Martin
Salem to Mcinnes

KJU FC · 03/05/2015 at 21:30

Rockliff priced at $579k with a BE of 290…

boy oh boy woweeee

    Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 21:33

hoping he plays this week but highly doubt he will haha

TOPHAWK1 · 03/05/2015 at 21:34

I am having a look at Mc Kenzie from the Saints. (DEF/MID 117K)

He scored 69 SC points in his debut game.

This guy could be our defensive midfield swinger coming into the byes.

Its just a matter of who to trade out in the midfield. Heeney?

Any suggestions community?

    Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 21:38

i have sheed whos break evens getting a bit higher so i might get rid of him next week

    Michael · 03/05/2015 at 21:40

NVB, Anderson, Heeney in that order would all be candidates in my team.
Could also be cutting my losses with Newnes very soon, but also tempted to ride it out with him.
I actually hope he gets a LTI so the choice is made for me lol!

Bluetackle · 03/05/2015 at 21:34

Im slipping from the pack too much I’ve decided to inject some warchest funds in gone griffen to pendles and vandenberg to jpk that was my first go anyways my team has more holes than a pin cushion

    Traderlyf · 03/05/2015 at 22:01

vandenberg still has a negative break even?

      SideBySidebottom · 03/05/2015 at 22:11

      Way too early on Vandenberg.

Gareth · 04/05/2015 at 12:43

Trade in Parker for Judd or wait for Rocky to fall later?

    Wheels1987 · 04/05/2015 at 14:31

    wait for rocky

Wheels1987 · 04/05/2015 at 14:30

I am thinking the following
Swing HIGGINS into the FWD line.
Trade SALEM out and bring McKENZIE into the DEF line.

Then wait till Thursday teams and if GLENN is named again trade out someone like HEENEY if he is still injured or J.NELSON who has only appreciated 50k but wasn't named last week.

Should HEENEY and NELSON play, hold out on any other trades until next week.

My reasoning behind pulling the trigger early on MCKENZIE is i believe he has good job security.

also, having HIGGINS in my FWD line will allow me to swing him back into DEF when i want to upgrade a FWD line player to RYDER.

any and all thoughts welcome

    Stoner · 04/05/2015 at 21:55

Heeney is out of round 6. Get ready to trade him. i dont know what's actually wrong with his ankle but from past experience with injuries to my ankle i'll bet that when/if he comes back old Heeney will have flown out of the window of a thirty story building. Saying all that though i'm keeping him
