If not hibberd who are some other good solid options? Going for a D5 strategy and currently have Shaw and Simpson already.

    Mozz · 22/03/2015 at 18:39

    I have:
Shaw, Kelly, Newnes, Higgins, Goodes, Goddard (McIntosh, Saad)

you could say that that's a D5 strategy, if Goodes is promoted from the rookie list

      shezza · 22/03/2015 at 18:42

I have Sompson Shaw Newnes Lumumba Goodes Saad McIntosh and Hamling for reserves

I really need some help here! what is everybody doing with Ablett if not ready for Round 1

    Mozz · 22/03/2015 at 18:50

do not pick him. Wait until he plays because then he will drop in cash and you can pick him up for a lower price

      Dee · 22/03/2015 at 19:10

still unsure, Rocket Eade said he just missed out playing against Brisbane on the weekend…. He reckons he should play come Round 1….. I bloody hope so!

      Jonathan · 22/03/2015 at 19:23

who would you go for if not Ablett then?

        Dee · 22/03/2015 at 21:00

Fyfe…. If not, go for a mid pricer and upgrade him to Ablett when he comes back.

Heath Shaw · 22/03/2015 at 18:48

cripps locked and loaded?

    Dee · 22/03/2015 at 19:09

locked in my side weeks ago, do your self a favor and throw away the bloody keys….

    Marco_Polo94 · 22/03/2015 at 19:12

Too many people jump on players from their latest nab game. Very important to stick to your structures and trust your gut instincts. If you had Swan from day dot because he is a fallen premium then keep him! Don't switch to the Bont purely because he had a super nab game. I can see many people jumping off Newton now and going to Cripps just because he racked up 32 disposals this afternoon. It's not to say these guys like cripps, Bont, Wines, minson, Griffen aren't good selections, it's just important to not get too high on our arousal curves and to not fall victim to short term memories!

    Marco_Polo94 · 22/03/2015 at 19:13

In saying that, I've had cripps and newton in my starting lineup for a while now and he is a very solid rookie selection.

      Jimmy Joe · 22/03/2015 at 19:27

Who would you pick in a Newton v Cripps debate?

        Marco_Polo94 · 22/03/2015 at 19:34

Depends on teams round 1. Some people are saying Newton might not be named once vince and co come back into the fray. I don't think you can go wrong with either, if i had to choose I like Newton still.

          pauly walnuts · 22/03/2015 at 20:56

          cripps by a long way

            Dee · 22/03/2015 at 21:04

Cripps for me… Too bloody expensive having Cripps and Newton as your rookies, I prefer Vandenberg than Newton anyways…

            Marco_Polo94 · 22/03/2015 at 21:22

haha after two nab games people were all over newton. one week on and everyone is losing their minds.

Jonathan · 22/03/2015 at 19:31

Only want one: Cripps or Newton
