Interested to hear the "Higgins" debate! Watch him suck everyone in and break hearts around the globe.
Also, what's the go with the DIV 3 league codes? have they been sent out yet?
Cheers Jock.
GDay there previoulsy! I've been slow as a wet week on some of the Divvy 3 invites.. this week! Sorry about the delay old mate and hope you're having a top preseason
Other than big E-Mac going down (eagles fan), it's been a great pre-season. If injuries keep going the way they do, could be some voids that need filling
Can't wait to listen!
How do I get into a league guys.
You need more league's Jock. Some sites have up to 11. Create 2 more league's from the donor's group from last year. You know you want to
G'Day Jock!
I signed up to the Club Jock about three weeks ago and so far I don't think I've received an invite to the Club Jock qualifiers group.
Just wondering when I'll receive the invite 🙂
Cheers!
Gday there Jack! Thanks for joining!! – will be a batch going out this week mate
Evening Jock et al,
I’m not sure if you have spotted my email or posts, but my mother dearest hasn’t received my Magazine yet down in Tassie. She is then going to get my boss to bring IP to Timor-Leste for me….hopefully b4 round 1.
Can you please check it isn’t under a pile of tissue’s somewhere in the flapping tarp?
Hazey
What's your name and email etc mate?
GDay Lekdog,
Is there a 'help desk' email I can reply to? Not that i don't trust anyone in the community here, but I'd prefer not to advertised my personal email etc.
Cheers
OK..OK…holding out on me ya big tease! Email is [email protected]
Amen to having footy back. So far got some good glimpses. Langdon's role is most intriguing. As Dex pointed out, he could be the back line QB much like Heater was. If that is the case, 85 should be cake (especially for a rook who went ton 3 times last season. Lukey McD and Thumper are in the mix. As is Hampton. Think we'll have a better idea on the third Nab game which rooks look like they may be in the mix R1. Have two structures ready for back line feast or famine.
Hilarious Dimma interview Crouching. New segment? "Tidbits & Flying Kicks w/ Crouching One?"
Not considering docherty throttle finger?
I’m considering going 5 deep with 3 midpricers
Who do you think will step up in libbas absence ?
I’m looking at bontempelli
Hey Jayden.
Docherty is on the watchlist but I don't give him a good shot at nailing a spot. Blues look like an unsteady side at the moment. But that's based on one preseason game without their main players, so we'll see.
Right now leaning with going 6 deep in mids. Only midpricer I'm considering is Judd. Little longer in the tooth but is wise and still got the talent to shake a tag and go ton. Could be nice path to upgrade to JPK or Sloane once price drops.
Macrae looks like the one who will step up SC wise. Still that's a risky pick. Bont looks nice yet sooooo much change with players leaving, new coach and now Libba out. I'm going to extend General Soreness's 50 foot pole to the lot of them for now.
It's likely Macrae will cop the tag now though…
I'm now shying away from WBD mids, dont think we have much clarity at all on how this year will shake out. Who will take over Libba's role – Jong v Wallis v others? Can Macrae improve again from last year without Griffen and Libba or will he get the #1 tag every week ? How much more midfield time will Bont, Stringer, Hrovat (now injured again) get? Does MBoyd go back into the engine room? Where do Biggs, Hunter and Johannisen fit in? When is Clay Smith (previously big wraps) back? Can see a couple of blokes stepping up but WHO? Fraught with danger
Nailed it Kraken!
What's up with Biggs? Why no play? If fit should be a lock for M8 now.
I heard he had a niggle which kept him out.
Mitch Wallis is the man, I suspect he may average more than fellow mid pricers Wells & Rich. Agreed Jack Macrae will get the tag so we will see what the kid is made of…..If he averages 100+ hes the next elite midfielder 2016 and beyond
Brilliant stuff Lads!
Love the input from Al on team structures.
Looking fwd to the super 9 comp. Would be interesting to analyse numbers from last yr to see how difficult it would have been to pick the top 9 each week.
Would love to go Bont up fwd now but already fielding too many mid pricers there already.
Although awkwardly priced, Biggs could firm for a mid selection.
So many doggies fringe players with potential to step into the ring, makes selecting the right one a tall order.
Considering the prize money is 25k a week, Im tipping its reasonably hard.
Hey Jock
Can you please check and see if my magazine has been sent , or did I miss something in completing the payment.
Just let me know then , I can buy one if I missed doing it correctly on the web.

Real keen to hear the community's thoughts on who would make a better D4 Langdon or Mayes?
Langdon
Langdon
G'day Mate
If you are picking Mayes over Langers based purely on DPP well I think its an error!! Mayes should be good but; Last year Langers was very worthy and with this apparent new role for the Pies as the General Down the Back you would have to go Langers at this stage.
LOL, way to sell the sponsorship Jock.
There is not better way to start a Monday morning that listening to the podcast on the way to work.
Brilliant having footy back, whilst I feel for the guys that are now out for the season, injuries are part of footy, something that Stevo from Channel 7 and Grant Thomas appear to be ignoring in their calls for no preseason hitouts just start round 1. They conveniently forget that a young man named Petracca did an ACL in training, Fyfe did his shoulder again in November. I feel for these blokes but also look forward to them perhaps starting in my side in 2016.
Onto the real stuff, I feel that we should alert the Alfred Burns Unit and there should be a Higgo's Helpline setup before the season proper to provide psychological support of comfort for those that get burnt by Higgins and Thomas and Karnezis and…………..(insert name of preseason specialists here).
I reckon Karnezis is the biggest lock going around. He's named Round 1, he's starts on the ground for me. I also think Mitch Clark is probably the second biggest lock going around. I'm not asking these guys to play 22 games…..
Karnezis and Clark may make claims on price alone and therefore any burning may just be scalds…..good to hear you are planning for them as trades.
I think though people considering Daisy and Higgins are looking to them as keepers, they may be right, history says they will be burnt.
In Higgins we (sorta) trust! 😛
At that price, I'll take the punt on Karnezis – if he turns into a charcoaled kebab – I lose very little.
bar one trade.
Interesting to see your thoughts on James Kelly. Seems that a lot of people are looking past him. Has a career average of 90 and hasnt averaged lower than 88 in 7 years!
Geelong have mentioned that they are looking at beefing up their midfield with experienced campaigners like Bartel and Kelly. I watched the game yesterday, and it did indeed pan out that way. Kelly is my D1 at the moment, and very confident of a 95-100 average from him.
SSShhhhhhhh!..hehe
We've got a Supercoach Draft private league and currently we have 4 places left open. Is anyone interested in playing? If your interested the league code is 463497
I can also be emailed at [email protected] if anyone is having trouble getting into the league
I need some expert advice please. Last year I stuffed up the captains loop a couple of times and it cost me big time. Could someone please explain how its done in very easy to understand language. Leaving school at 13 might not of been a good idea after all.
Step 1: Find a rookie that will NEVER play a game and that is very cheap. Put them in your team. It is helpful to pick someone from a team that plays later games in the weekend
Step 2: Place the VC on someone who you think could score really highly in the first few games of the weekend. (If we are looking at round one, you may wish to place the VC on G.Ablett because he is playing against Melbourne).
Look at the VC score after they have played and ask yourself this question:
HAS MY VC SCORED ENOUGH TO BE A CAPTAIN'S SCORE
YES HE HAS! – Then what you need to do is swap the player who NEVER plays onto your field and put the C on him. What happens now is that when this player doesn't play, he will score a 0, and hence the captaincy is revoked, meaning that the VC now gets double points.
Hint: I have C.Blakely (Fremantle) in my team because Freo always plays after Gold Coast in the first 9 rounds of the season
NO HE HASN'T! – Then you still have the option of putting the C on another player you think will score highly and that's the end of that. No loop hole is used in this option.
Hope this helps 🙂 If you have any more questions i'll answer them to help you through the struggles that is understanding supercoach.
Make sure that you have the E button clicked on the player on the bench who you want to use their score instead of the Zero from the non-player if you have the non-player on the field. (I did that once last year). The C on the non-player doesn't automatically go to the Emergency.
Thankyou very much for the information.
Is Travis Cloke worth considering? $390k
Could be a bargain. Personally I don't have the balls to select him. Being a Collingwood fan I would love nothing more for clokey to come out firing this season, however he spuds it up too often for me to select him. I'm trying to steer clear of key position forwards this year and pick forwards based on their midfield time. I just feel there is more consistency and value to be had in those types than your clokes and tex's.
I ended last year with a vow to not start (or even have during the year) key postion forwards in my team. I think I Franklin, Roughie, Cloke, Pav, Petrie were all there at one stage!
Although I have slipped Hogan into my starting team already, I think he is too good miss.
My Forwards are FWDS: Gray, Bartel, Goddard, Swan, Salem, Hogan.
Collingwood start with Brisbane, Crows & Saints. I can see big Travis starting the year with a bang.
No KPP's is a well spoken about Supercoach rule that almost always need to be adhered to, Riewolt a notable exception of recent years. Cloke was the last KP player I gambled on, trading him in after he went supernova on Richmond in 2013, only to turn into a SC black hole for the remainder of the season. Lesson learnt!
Interesting than none of the top six SC scores so far in NAB has been by a Midfielder and only 3 of the top 10 scores was by a midfielder.
Top 10 by Position

who got 164?
More a case of being NAB 1, no accountability as each team is just trying to get their own plans working with scant regard for the opposition. But they are very interesting numbers and makes me more certain of my strategy.

Dangerfield or crouch?
Mids are currently: Gaz, Pendles, Fyfe, Danger, Wines, Swallow, Rich, Anderson (heeney, vandenburg, lambert)
Dangerfield
i would think more of swapping swallow for crouch.
Danger will have a good year i reckon and will eclipse swallow and crouch's year
Danger by a long way Mate
I'm losing sleep over my M6.
Current Mids are: Ablett, Pendles, JPK, priddis, Wines, ???, (Rookies).
I will have around $540k to spend.
I'm thinking it is between, Griffin$530k, Shiel$509k, Swallow$500, BCrouch$508k
Put them all in a hat and pick one, they are all potential keepers. I'd probably pick Crouch though.
What about Mitchell (HAW) after his NAB Cup game against Collingwood. Looks like he might be a priced right and scores well enough to upgrade later on or keep him
I am a Hawks fan and get caught every year putting to many Hawks in my team. He does look good value, but I think his best SC days are over. I don't think Sammy has ever racked up 40 pos in an AFL game. amazing!
Last couple of years he had a habit of resting the final term once the game was over. Instead of scoring 130SC he would sit on a 100 and leave the junk time to Roughie and Co.
Im the same
I went Gaz, Fyfe, Priddis, Danger, Wines,
I want to pick B.Crouch but as i have
VB, J.Anderson, Heeney, Leverde, Dumont. as the rest
it leaves me with 3/3/3 on the byes
Would prefer the rnd 13 bye.
but i guess it doesn't matter too much.
I reckon it's out of Swallow, Griffen and Crouch
Just hoping to get some expert advice on this build, went for a low priced def (although it could still be lower) and the rest is more or less guns n rookies. Any feedback is appreciated…
D: Shaw, Newnes, Langdon, Goodes, Whitecross, Goddard (Viojo-Rainbow, McKenzie)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Kennedy, Judd, van Berlo, Newton, Brayshaw, Boekhorst (Anderson, Heeney, Freeman)
R: Jacobs, Naitanui (Smith)
F: Gray, Goddard, Swan, Thomas, McCartin, Salem (Hogan, Krakoer)
Thomas, is a big no, same with Goodes and Judd.
Agree Goodes is a NO, but Judd and Thomas are debatable
I would get rid of Goodes. better options like C Pearce & Jaksch. I would even consider Rohan before Goodes.
I would think about T Mitchell ahead of Daisy.
How much cash you have left, must be a bit?
Gray is the selection of a Shark!!!
Dan you need to get Whitecross out of your side. Very doubtful he will feature early
Thoughts?
DEF: Smith, Shaw, Newnes, Henderson, Goddard, Viojo-Rainbow, McKenzie, Newman
MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, Rich, Boekhorst, Freeman, Vandenberg, Steele, Lambert
RUC: Goldstein, Nic Nat, Read
FWD: Goddard, Martin, Swan, Salem, Hogan, Laverde, Krakouer, Daniel
I have $115,900 left. Not sure wether to downgrade Goldstein to someone cheaper like Leuenberger or Big Boy and get Wines instead of Rich. I'm not sure how many guns we should have in our midfield.
Feedback is much appreciated.
$115k isn't exceptionally too much to go into Rd 1 with. With one less ruck, i wouldnt downgrade Goldstein but thats just me. Rich and Boekhorst will both play
have u thought about trading Smith to someone like James Kelly? I believe Geelong plan to run him through the midfield more this year…
a lot of team structures will depend if Whitecross gets a start round 1. If he does, you can use your cash to up grade a Def rookie to Whitecross.
G'day community,
Looking for some feedback, critisicm in particular, on my current team.
DEF: H Shaw, C Enright, J Newnes, G Ibbotson, B Whitecross, H Goddard (A Saad, B Maynard)
MID: G Ablett, S Pendlebury, J Selwood, M Priddis, A Swallow, D Rich, S Biggs, I Heeney (B Boekhorst, A Vandenberg, K Lambert)
RUC: N Naitanui, T Bellchambers (T Read)
FOR: B Deledio, B Goddard, D Martin, D Swan, J Hogan, J Laverde (C Daniel, N Krakouer)
I've only got $2,000 in change and I think I need a considerable amount more to cover any corrective trading before prices change.
I'm also just about losing sleep over my ruck combo. I've been a "set and forget" kinda coach since I started this great game and now I've got Tom effin' Bellchambers on my field. Don't be shy on ripping me apart, community, because I feel like I deserve it.
Jack,
I like your entire team, except for Bellchambers. You are going to have to downgrade somewhere. If Jed Anderson is a rd1 starter, I would consider downgrading Rich to Anderson, than upgrade Bellchambers (sleep is too important, to waste on him).
Can i get some feedback on this team at the moment, Postive or Negative,
In no particular order –
DEF – shaw, newnes lumumba, johannisen, langdon, geary, (whitecross, goddard)
MIDS – ablett, selwood ,beams, S. mitchell, swan, rich, Van Berlo, DeGoey ( lambert, heeney, lang. )
RUCKS – Lycett Nicholls, (read)
FOR – deledio, bartel, mitchell, karnezis, hogan, clark, laverde, lamb
Thinking of running with Lycett as well, glad to see i'm not the only one!
When Dean Cox wasn't playing Lycett scored: 104, 89, 117, 68 and 108. Significant!
hi community, looking for some advice
DEF: B.Smith, M.Hibberd, J.Newnes, G.Ibbotson, N.Brown, H.Goddard (Rainbow, McKenzie)
MIDS: G.Ablett, S.Pendlebury, N.Fyfe, P.Dangerfield, J.Steven, T.Mitchell, D.Wells,B.Newton (Freeman, Boekhorst, Lambert)
RUC: M.Leuenberger, T.Bellchambers (Cox)
FOR: B.Deledio, H.Bennel, D.Swan, M.Bont, C.Salem, J.Hogan (Laverde, Krakouer)
got $29,900 thinking of downgrading one mid pricer and upgrading another
thoughts?
BIS,
Like most of your team, but N.Brown & Bellchambers need to go.
I would perhaps look to downgrade T.Mitchell or D.Wells to Jed Anderson, then upgrade Bellchambers to Naitanui.
Switch N.Brown out for a rookie Defender.
That ruck line could get injured pretty quick
Great team BIS, maybe downgrade Bennell or Bont to a rookie, maybe use cash to upgrade Brown in your backline. Or use it to upgrade in ruck for less risk there. Steven, Mitchell, Wells is too big a gamble for mine.
Considering running with Nic Nat and Lycett is it a bad idea to go with two rucks from the same team?
Yes, it sounds risky to have your 2 on-ground rucks from the same team. Must admit that last year I ended up with Sandilands, Naitanui and Lycett in the ruck, and on 1 occassion Naitanui was dropped late, and replaced with Lycett who scored over 90 points, so it worked on that occassion.
I’m sitting with them both atm. With Darling out early on, Lycett is rumoured to be set for more time in the forward half. If you’re playing for the league win I reckon having the R/F loophole could save a couple of trades throughout the season.
I think having Lycett is ok, so long as he is set for the forward line, and you have reed or cox to swing with Lycett if needed.
Appreciate your thoughts, many of the rookies will likely be changed pending NAB challenge form-
Def – H.Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Vlastuin, C.Pearce, Goddard (Saad, Kolodjashni)
Mid – Ablett, Pendlebury, J.Kennedy, Hannebery, Wines, Anderson, Heeney, Laverde (Freeman, Manadue, Krakouer)
Ruck – Sandilands, Naitanui (Read)
Fwd – Goddard, Franklin, Swan, Walters, Salem, Karnezis (D.Menzel, Lambert)
$74,100 remaining in the bank, will be used to select the right rookies come round 1.
Thoughts appreciated.
If my memory is correct, Vlastuin played a tag role in NAB 1
Yep I agree Gold Rush he's looking a bit risky when his 88% TOG is as far above the average as his points p/TOG is below the average. Not good signs for a D4 at 360K+
cant say much till we see more games, however i wasnt that impressed with freeman. pretty sure he will be one of the first names out of the squad to make way for the 6 players missing unless he plays out of his skin these next two games.
@donavan
Only played 53%. Don't read too much into it til after NAB 2 and 3. Could be being eased into it after his horror hamstring last year.
Agreed Sarah
Same same
G'day community,
Absolutely loving all the words of wisdom here but none the less, racking my brains about my team. so far after changing my game plan for the 754th time I am still uncertain if it's the correct move but I have decided to go heavy-ish in the mid with premo to mid ish fwd with a couple of rooks. I think I'm just gonna let the backline fight for a spot in my team. So many uncertainties at this stage but I'm sure some rookies will make a big impression for a sideways trade.
My team so far, probably rubbish and maybe I'm throwing the backline to waste but I just need to know if anyone out there thinks I'm on the right track.
Def : Newnes, Langdon, C.Pearce (if picked), M.Dick, Goddard, Maynard (Saad, Rainbow)
Mid : Gablett, Pendels, J.Selwood, D.Beams, Wines, B.Crouch, Hallahan, De Goey (Heeney, J.Anderson, Boekhorst)
Ruc : Goldy, NicNat (M.Cox)
Fwd : Bartel, Goddard, Swan, T.Mitchell, Salem, Hogan (C.Daniel, Lambert)
I'm thinking is it a risk to pick both crouchy and wines in the side and what does the community think about Biggs, Turner, Higgins, Z.Clark and S.White? At some stage have all been in my side.
Backline is a bit to weak and relying on too many rookies back there
Maybe cut one of wines/crouch to a cheap rookie( the likes of freeman or someone else) should save you 400k or there around abouts
Then upgrade a rookie to like Simpson/smith/hibberd
Hi Jono Maybe look at Hamling instead of Rainbow, Hamling had 55%TOG scored at 1.04 points p/1%TOG which is well above the average so far.
Rainbow 27%TOG at 0.11 points p/1%TOG is a long way off AFL. Dick had 68% TOG at 0.51 but isn’t much closer than rainbow.
There are quite a few rookies you should re-think if their teams have played and they haven’t or if they were crap.
Yes you'll beat everyone at the start of the year, but you won't be able to make enough money to fully upgrade your team. I see that team slowly sliding down your league ladders.
Going cheap DEF seems good idea this year, but you are going to the extream
Yeh its just a bit hard to pick em at this stage. Won't be sure until closer round 1.
Anyways, again, great feedback guys. Thank you heaps
Have done a major shuffle…. And changed my gameplay yet again …
Taken the advice and thought I'd trade out crouchy for freeman, and down grade NicNat for z.smith to free up some cash to upgrade dick and Pearce for shaw and Higgins down back.
Def : shaw, Higgins, Newnes, Langdon, hamling, Goddard (saad, Maynard)
Mid : gaz, Pendels, jelwood, beams, wines, Hallahan, de Goey ( freeman, Steele, kraks)
Ruc : Goldy and z.smith (cox)
Fed : no change
Not sure about Hallahan now.. Lol
You do make a good point but I guess my thinking was trying to pick the right rooks to generate the cash to trade.
But then again… That's always they key.
Thoughts on my side
Backs: Simpson, smith, newnes, docherty, Goddard, Maynard (Mckenzie, saad)
Mids: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, ward, rich, Newton, Biggs, freeman (Boekhorst, Laverde, Payne)
Rucks: Goldstein, Naitanui (read)
Fwds: Goddard, Martin, swan, bontempelli, Clark, hogan ( Steele, lambert)
109k left
For those who like the numbers here’s a quick summary of NAB so far. Make from what you will, the full data has identified some unexpected additions to my watch list.
309 Players used
3 Players on ground for 100% of total game time
25 on ground for 90% or more of total game time
Of the 25 on ground for 90-100% of Game time, only four scored 100+. Higgins & Crouch topped with 136 and 127 respectively 92% and 94%.
Of the 309 players used so far 41 have scored 100 or more and, significantly maybe, only 16 of them are MID only for SC and 11 others are DEF eligible.
Only two players managed to score at a rate above 2.00 points per 1% of TOG. Jimmy Bartel at 2.06 is top of that list.
20 players scored at a rate above 1.49 points per 1% TOG of them six are Def eligible, six are mid only and two are rucks. Bob Murphy was twelfth on the list at 1.69
Additionally, The average score for the round so far is 64 and 139 players achieved it
The average TOG is 71% with 199 players spending at least that much TOG
The average points per 1%TOG is 0.89
Hey mate where are you getting your preseason stats from?
Hi Jayden, The stats were produced using FREE official data from AFL website and HeraldSun website
Ok cool as mate might have a look when I get some free time
Great work Super!! You care to share the list of the players scoring at a rate above 1.49 points per 1% TOG?
Hi Sarah, Give a woman a fish and she eats for a day, teach the woman to fish and she can feed herself for life.
TOG data is in the AFL game stats just divide the TOG by the SC scores at herald sun.
I promise you that its worth the effort if you're trying to find the best rookie or a break out contender that the clubs are trying to hide until the real stuff starts
I do realise how to get the information. Just thought you might be a little more helpful.
Would you like me to pick your team for you as well? It's preseason sweetheart and there are no shortcuts.
Don't call me sweetheart.
Anyway, it's only the first game of the NAB. Most of the games were irrelevant because one team was stacked and the other full of first year players. NAB 2 and 3 will show us far more information.
Sorry Princess.
Grow up.
Now now, play nice you two.
I really like the look of Hallahan but with the likes of Ablett and O'Meara out of the nab game I think it might be unlikely for him to keep scoring so high. Thoughts?
Higgo said that before the start of the NAB games. Beware who is NOT playing. There are a number of players falling into the same boat, Anderson is another. Anderson won't get a game ahead of Hill and Smith.
Did Prestia play?
Hey just a an attempt to make a team, been finding it hard to make any real good looking team here but want to show this one, sigh
defense Simpson, Kelly, Newnes, Langdon, C Pearce, H.Goddard (Rainbow, McKenzie)
Midfield Ablett, Pendlebury, S Selwood, Wines, A Swallow, Rich, NVB, Boakhurst (Vandenburg, Freeman, Laverde)
ruck Naitanui, Z Smith (cox)
Forward Deledio, Swan, Lycett, T Mitchell, Salam, Hogan (Daniel, Krakouer)
C Pearce not sure on his role this year but was once a 75+ player
Z Smith never had him in my side but could be his year?
Nice work Carla, this year there is a dearth of Def top end and bottom end which means compromises on various lines and therefore no team is 100% Zoolander "really really good looking". Keep following the posts on this site, by the look of the rooks your including your doing your research and your team looks solid. Personally the two you have identified in Pearce and Smith are the two that concern me the most. I do not see Pearce as a best 22 and would rather risk a rookie. Smith needs to be watched over the rest of NAB to see if he is number 1 ruck or number 2 to Nicholls. Also keep watching Boekhorst, his NAB 1 was woeful.
Any league codes?
Do you want to play in a Supercoach Draft league? I posted up above but here are the details again. We've got 3 places left now

Anyone know how Fuller from the Bulldogs is going. Had him on my bench most of last year, can’t remember why? Must have been on rookie radar last year but no talk this year.
Had shoulder surgery end of last season which meant didn't return until January is my understanding, I remember someone on here early Feb stating that he was only just looking to start back contact work, if my memory is correct.
Thanks GS. He might be a mid year option.
I feel like I need to have two of, Simpson, shaw or Kelly. Who would be better?
I have all 3.
Shaw and Simpson would be ahead of any combo involving Kelly, he is solid but feel his best is in the past.
Bye Predictor – unless I'm missing something I cant see this on the SC page which was on there LY ??
Lots of people talking about Sam Mitchell. Buyer beware. Chances of him playing 22 games with a 110 av is less than 1%. He's injury prone & when the games in the bag he sits on the pine.
That is what I have been saying, he sits down and watches the junk time.
Point taken and I've removed Sam Mitchell from the team. Swallow (NTH) or Crouch (ADEL) looks to be far better value at a similar price.
Any chance you could bring out the Higginator team analysis for 2015?
Damn link wont post….needless to say it was released on 22 December.
Hey Jock maybe you could start a section for other people that might want to advertise their leagues for member here to play in if they don't make the list to play in your leagues? Just an idea
Hey Guys,
can you have a squiz at the team.
I know the Ruck and forward line is a bit line.
D – Shaw, Enright, Newnes, Higgins, Langdon, Geary, (Clurey, Whitecross)
M- GAJ, Fyfe, Priddis, Danger, Wines, Swallow, VB, Anderson (Heeney, Leverde, Dumont)
R – Nic Nat, Bellchamber (Cox)
F – Bartel, Swan, Knights, Clark, Hogan, Lambert (Daniel, Krakouer)
Had Bennell isntead of Bartel and had jacobs in there but wanted to up the defensive line. The rookies tend to be harder to pick on that line and get less points
thanks
How about move Higgins forward and remove Clurey for Goddard (St Kilda) ???
If you had to pick 2 of 3 of Freeman(Coll), Steele(GWS) and Lambert(Rich)
Who would you choose?
I really won't make a final call until the 'season proper' starts, however I'm personally putting both Freeman and Steele in my team as placeholders. While Richmond has one unfilled spot in its Seniors List, until Lambert is announced as elevated off Richmond's Rookie List I'd steer clear. With that said, both Anthony Miles and Crouching are excited by Lambert, so he might indeed be given that Seniors List place soon enough.
M.Clark or C.Salem?
Who will have more output do you reckon?
Salem has a possible role change as a running back, could do wonders for his score. As a second year player I don't think he will see the vest as much as he did last year. Clark is a huge injury risk.
Salem has been locked in my team from the get go.
Toby Greene anyone? Big POD, won't get tagged and an easy run?
You could do a lot worse King
Can you pick Geary after his effort on the weekend?
Worthy selection if he goes at close to 100+ in next two NAB's, if he goes at 75 or lower raises ??'s
Where is Newnes playing? Is he in the guts or off half back?
Billings looks like he may struggle for round 1, maybe not a bad option having both in the backline
Ok, hopefully everyone hasn't run out on comments on everyone else's teams!!?
DEF: Shaw, walker, Newnse, mcdonald, edwards, goddard (Rainbow, saad)
MID: Ablett, JP kennedy, sidebottom, priddis, deledio, rich, moribioto, vandenberg (laverde, freeman, steele)
RUC: Lobbe, NicNat (nankervis)
Forward: Goddard, Martin, swan, mitchell, salem, hogan (krakouer, lambert)
only $8,600 #honesty will help heaps, cheers
Walker has a knee injury.
Morabito has a knee injury.
Lots of your rookies are club-listed rookies and will need to be elevated onto their clubs' senior lists – check who's available closer to the start of the season.
Walker is injured/underdone so I'd reconsider that one for Round 1.
First team I’ve seen with Lobbe in it.
Hi there community.
I’m interested to hear some thoughts on a Bartel vs Buddy debate. Buddy has a higher ceiling but I’m convinced that Bartel is more consistent. Does Bartel’s consistency win over Buddy’s ability for high scores? Would love your thoughts!
Can someone explain why Henderson scored so low?
Cause he barely touched it! Spent more time watching the game being played than actually getting involved himself. Will need to pull his socks up.
