My advice? Select wisely.
Don’t select too many. And only if you have real evidence that suggests that the bloke is definitely under priced heading into the season.

Jock’s 2015 Midpriced Cheat Sheet v1
Enjoy folks! Keen to read your thoughts below.
Jock Reynolds
Great stuff once again Jock! Love it!
great work
rich or wells
wells for me
and any thoughts on Daniel menzel
I am a huge cats man stay of him till round 7 8 maybe earlier but he wont be playing the first 4 to 6 games
Good call Nick. Will spend some time in the twos to get his match fitness up. Downgrade option
Cats fan here, I bloody love Menzel but I wouldn't go near him til around the bye rounds, maybe as potential downgrade option,
Off topic but important…
Can someone who tweets please inform Higgo that he has his pricing formula wrong. The formula for price changes is:
New Price = Old Price + 0.443 x (Current Score – Breakeven)
Breakeven = (3 x Old Price)/5.04 – (Score from Last Week + Score from Two Weeks Ago)
Higgo is using 5.4 rather than 5.04 which is the preseason pricing "magic" number, this reverts to 5.04 during the season (and results in all existing players being initially overpriced by 8%) to account for the increase in price for rookies while maintaining the total salary for the competition as a constant.
For example, Daniel Rich if he averages 90 with a starting price of $348k will only reach a price of $444k by the round 11 bye. Higgo is quoting $470k, a small but significant difference.
Whoa…. Tom if you're right, I bow down to you my friend. But remember… In the community we support each other till, the end and aim for ultimate glory together.
He has one sheery a year, He picks one dude insert Higinsssssssssssssssss and BANG we are all over him like a fat boy on a cream bun!!!!
Empires have been brought down for less………
Higgo Sanity Poll will be a must…..There I have said it Jock Bring on a poll??? (It's not like I'm saying this and your not agreeing mate) THE POLL, Prime ministerially like … Gary Abblett 3 votes, Tony Abbett 2 Votes, Higgo Nil Points, (Lift son!!, LIFT)
That's it community I'm bring back the rating System on the POD's
However , I still havesome spots in GROUND ZERO
If you like a challenge and some fun (Keith) post a e-mail address and I will return the CODE……..
Good to see the latest price rises from Higgo are correct for Salem, he will hit $392k for an 80 average by round 13 and $345k for a 70 average.
Anyone thinking about A.Woodward from the Hawks-just under 200k ,played 2 games late last year, no Sewell this year and also won the Liston Medal – got him at M7 ATM, might be better than some of the higher priced rooks.
I hear he has bought his very own Green vest
not forgotten good selection.
I'm personally not big on selecting rookies from the top teams, pauly. They've got guns all over the park and the new boys might be played out of position for team balance. Watch the nab to see how he fits in
What do you think about Mitch Hallahan? New club, potentially more opportunities, despite Gold Coast being so strong in the midfield.
Don't like him only scored over 90 once in his career. Gold Coast already has Gaz, O'Meara, Swallow, Bennell, Jack Martin, Rischitelli, Stanley and Shaw. I see Shaw averaging higher than him and they are at same price.
Ricky Henderson, or ibboston as d4??
Currently have Henderson, would love the communitys thoughts, cheers
I have both but hendo would be my pick to kick it as the crow flies
Hendo is a lock
I've had Hendo in my team since the Higginator was released. Was really hoping he'd fly under the radar as no one was talking about him but looks like the cat is out of the bag. My POD may become one of the most picked in the backline come season start.
Great work Jock, could I pick your genius footy brain & get your thoughts on going with Nic Nat & Lycett in the ruck together or have Lycett in the forward line ?
Don't like the idea of both ruckman from the same team, will steal points from each other. However, you're always guaranteed one solid score from a ruckman. Think Naitanui will be in the top 5 by the end of year. So would change Lycett to Leunberger preferably.
Thanks for the feedback Stickman, I agree with you on Nic Nat being atop 5 ruckman this year
Should we go lighter on defence this year Jock?
Currently have two premium defenders in Shaw and Hibberd with two midpricers and the rest rookies. Was thinking I might even downgrade one of my premos to another midpricer to free up some cash.
Is this to risky? The excess money would be used on my midfield were I would end up having four superpremiums, two premiums, one midpricer and the rest rookies.
What do you think?
James, I'm thinking the same and also going big in the Ruck and hopefully without a trade there this year at all. Just too many variables down back , I'm considering 4 mid pricers such as Vlastuin,Henderson ect and load up with what comes up in the NAB with rooks. Risk & Reward Strategy ? Good Luck Mate !
Light on in dfens mid pricers all the rage with one top defender under $500k this mayes be the way to go
I’m going light in defence for a couple of reasons. Mid pricers in defence are easier to upgrade into underpriced premos. And the difference between a mid pricers average and a premo average isn’t that great. Therefore spend money elsewhere
well there goes all my decent POD mid-prices gone. Spot on with I reckon with rich, Swan and MitchellI jock!!
I keep looking at Sam Mitchell as a serious mid price option. $490k there is a bargain
He's priced at 490k for a reason, derek. Way too many sub 100 scores to be considered as a mid selection.
I’ve decided to have a no Hawks team. They are not good SC scorers.
Except Lewis
Derek, you need to look closely at the defenders, 4 of the top 11, not bad for not good SC scores!
Throw suckling into the mix at sub 300k last season and Mitchell, you could of picked them all
And Langford last year. Ok so I will have another look at the Hawks, white cross if he plays
Anyone considering Marcus Bontempelli. Believed he has bulked up considerably. Could maybe do a Jack Macrae?
Keep the bont quiet ideal pod the world doesn’t have to know but bontification is coming
mums the word 🙂
The Bont is coming !!!!!!!
The Bont or Josh Kelly could both be the 2015 Macrae
Locked and loaded. Still a bit worried about his price though, a lot of money for a second year player.
League 148559 – Jock's Jock
Serious but not insanely so. Midprice strategists encouraged. Be good to have teams that don't all look the same.
C'mon NAB Cup Been waiting to see what kind of a run Mitchell has.
I'm in mate thanks. Aiming for top 2,000 this year. Won 4/5 leagues last year!
Mitchell will smash it in the NAB absolutely no doubt about it, he did last year…..But will that tell us anything? If one of Kennedy, Parker, McVeigh or Hannebry are missing though it needs to be taken with a grain of salt
Great stuff as always Jock.
I'm stuck between Rich and VB in the guts and its Grigg v Bellchambers in the forward line. Thinking that VB might add more value in the middle as he's $120K cheaper than Rich. Belchambers has DPP which is helpful in the ruck, but Grigg was sub-affected last year and scored really well considering his playing time…
Huge call on Grigg. Best 22? Walsh has said he'll play his likely round 1 team in second game of nab so if Grigg isn't lining up scratch him off the list
Great work once again
I’m pretty keen on Walters, what’s a couple of thoughts on him?
Have Walters at F4 at the moment, more keen on Mitchell but do not have the cap space. Walters looks in good nick in training with the indigenous all-stars. But have not counted out Foley at that price averaged 103 a few years back, but will not pull the trigger unless some outstanding news is revealed about him.
At the end of the day don't pick pure small forwards, to inconsistent.
Great cheat sheet jock
I got one question
Would u have van berlo and rich in at the same time and if so would rich be M6 and van berlo M7
Or
Have one of them at M6
Depends entirely on your structure, Ryan. Two mid pricers in your mids are good as stepping stones to fallen premiums, but at the same time reduces your total points.
For example, I can see a rookie like Freeman averaging more or less the same as NVB, and he is 90k cheaper. That 90k is the difference between having Jelwood or McVeigh in your mids
Awesome point Kev. If the cheaper quality rooks play and score, that extra $200K you save over 2x $215k VB types will be critical for fast early upgrades
True Kev but as a young Mexican girl one stated 'Why can't we have both?' Currently have Van Berlo & Freeman M7 & M8 and I like it. VB gives me that almost guaranteed 75 average and as you stated Freeman has the upside (albeit more of an unknown)
guys
martian
bennel
Franklin or
Mitchel
cant deiced
Martin
Buddy – plays like a midfielder.
Get buddy later
great work again, Jock! ive gone with bellchambers in the forward line as a money making cover option. I did think of Lycett too in the ruck mix, but looking at his hit outs to advantage stats decided no at this time. im still not convinced of nicnats fitness/injury problems are behind him either…. going with maric as my main ruck
Hey community I really need some help with a question
If u had to choose
Mason cox
Van berlo
Bellchambers
GOLDY
Or
Toby nav
Rich
T. Mitchell
Leu
I'm finding this really tough cuz with Bellchambers and cox… The two DP with goldy sounds good but a bit risky but with option two it sounds more safe.. But idk which one
Has anyone thought about Mumford? He picks on the little guys better then anyone
Mumford would be a great pick. Hasn't averaged below 90 for the past 5 with 2 of them being over 110. Definite POD have not seen many teams with him.
Option 1 cos it has the only certain keeper (Goldy) the best cash cow (Van Berlo) and the most flexibility (the other 2)
Just put an add in the paper.
WANTED: Cheap reliable best 22 defenders. You must not be overpriced & preferably rookie priced. Higgins & Braughton need not apply.
Give me 8 Itchy and I would be a very happy man, I will even help pay for the cost of the add.
The midprice defensive strategy is too risky for my liking. I'm taking Simpson, Shaw, Hodge and Newnes. With the exception of Newnes, all have a history of averaging 90+ year after year. That'll do me!!
Looking good Sarah, I think we will have to be happy with a 90+ average and hopefully 95.
Not 100% sold on Newnes just yet and hopefully nab cup will make up my mind.
Great work jock,
I want one of the 200-215k players, looking at nvb, Biggs and Newton. Liking the look of Newton atm, but not sure.
Who do we think will be the best of these three?
Thanks guys
NVB
Starting to think that stacking the back-line might be the way to go this year as per Crouching One suggested. I really think this has a lot of merit.
There are plenty of Rookies in the Mid and up Fwd. (Rookie Mid-fielders are where the cash is generated)
I am open to all thoughts on this theory.
Comments and Abuse welcome.
Agree oldocker, was my first team strategy. But as others said, it's tough to bring in premium miss who are 600k plus. Where as defence premiums drop in price usually. Also it's tough to pick which defenders will be in the top 10 defence scorers.
Can't argue with that Ryan, Most premium defenders appear to be overpriced and you are 100% right mate.
I am also sure that you will find that some Premium midfielders drop in price as well and it is a case of selling rookies at the right time to upgrade two for one and bring in the next rookie. The bye rounds also make this easier when you have 3 trades for each round.
Sometimes what you lose on the slide you pick up on the Merry go Round.
Agree oldocker, and for the record I'll be selecting 5 players over 435k with Henderson as d6, just trying to talk myself out of it haha
Maybe dont go that strong Ryan. I highly doubt that you will keep the other lines solid and it is a strategy bound to hurt your chances of overall rankings.
There will be a rookie defender emerge, there always is. Ie Langford
Just don’t fall for the Georgio type rookie
You could be right OldOcker I actually threw this idea up the other day. The way I see it the defence this year is like a banana peel – don't slip on it! I'm seeing teams with 3-4 mid pricers in the backline….insane.
I pose this question to the community, how many mid priced defenders last year turned out to be worthwhile picks? I can think of 1, Jaesch. Perhaps Swallow if you consider a 430k defender a mid pricer which I dont.
Spot on Phil, Mid Priced players in defense are generally a NO NO but there can be the odd one that stands out.
It becomes a case of how much money do you want to allocate to each line. As defenders are renowned as being the lowest averaging scorers in your team and that is a fact statistically.
Swallow everyone was all over last year, Well at least I was.
Jaensch I could not come at even though he was producing scores. (Even the trade to me after I caught on was not worth it because I value my trades and would much rather upgrade to guns in the mid-field where your points come from.)
Trades this year are going to be more important than they have ever been. Given the defense and RUCK options you go with this year.
I think one mid priced player on each line is acceptable but this year maybe it is a case of having to take two in defense.
Just my Opinion.
Can I please get some advise on my current team It needs work that for sure, comment welcomed
Malceski, Smith, Newnes(MID), Whitecross, Steinberg, Goddard (Sb:D Moore(Fwd), ASaad(Mid))
Ablett, Pendles, Beams, D Martin(FWD)Bontemp(FWD)S Mayes(DEF),Acres, Cripps ( Sb:J Anderson,N Freeman, N Krakouer(Fwd))
NatN,Luey Sb: P.Wright(fwd)
Godd (Mid), Swan(Mid),Mitch(Mid),Bellc(Ruc)J Hogan, J Laverde(Mid) (Sb: A Saad, M Newman)
Still got $275,500 in bank
Team looks solid cap, general rule is to not put dpp players in the midfield. Rather in the other line, ie martin in the fwd line. Therefore you can pick another midfielder in your team
Thanks Ryan I was thinking that just trying not to have to waste trades early with suspensions and injuries like I did last year and had no trades left in the finals.
Martin Swan T.Mitchell Bellchambers hogan Daniel
I just want to know if these fwd line up is too weak or should I get some upgrades going
Depends who you ask re: Bellchambers. For mine he is a walking injury. Most have Deledio/Goddard at F1
Have I lost the plot or is having Sammy Gilbert at D4 to replace Waters a viable option?
Hey lads would be great if I could get some advice on my supercoach team.
Def: H.Shaw L.Hodge J.Kelly J.Lever N.Brown H.Goddard Bench: V.Rainbow, B.Maynard
Mid: God Pendles Fyfe D.Beams M.Priddis A.Swallow B.Boekhorst N.Freeman
Bench: I.Heeney A.Vandenberg N.Krakouer
Ruck: Nic Nat Zac Smith Bench: M.Cox
Fwd: B.Goddard D.Martin J.Gunston J.Martin M.Clark J.Hogan Bench: T.Membrey C.Daniel
Structure and team look pretty good mate, Not sure I would have Gunston, There are better value options in the forward line.
Just my Opinion,
PS: Just for us old blokes God has retired and he should be referred to as the son of God.
Baby Jesus OldOcker "Baby Jesus" The only Son of GOD asides from Nathan LOL
Thanks for correcting me Dools, I was not thinking clearly because I was a bit upset that some bloke stole the bloody slab out of the fridge. When I get over this hangover I will find the bugger.
Dont like gunston martin clark in fwd line. try looking at the t.mitchells of the comp
Like Smith, huge pod and could be a serious steal if he stays on the park.
nice mid but if youre going for overall, the first 3 mids all have r12 bye.
3 defensive rookies is a HUGE risk too. you could easily downgrade a fyfe to a nvb and upgrade n.brown to a gun (simpson and the likes)
Hi Community,
I don't normally select mid range players very much but I feel like we are backed into a corner this year – anyone else taking this approach? please see below and let me know.
DEF- H. Shaw, J. Newnes, N. Vlastuin, G. Ibbotson, R. Henderson, B. Whitecross (H. Goddard, Rainbow)
MID – G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, N. Fyfe, O. Wines, R. Griffen, D. Rich, N. Van Berlo, B. Newton (I. Heeney, B. Boekhorst, N. Freeman)
Ruck – T. Goldstein, N. Naitanui (T. Nankervis)
FWD – D. Swan, M. Bontempelli, T. Mitchell, T. Bellchambers, A. Saad, J. Hogan (c. Daniel, T. Lamb)
Omg. Your defence is 100% same as mine
Looks good Nathan, different set up to other teams out there. Plenty of cheaper mid rookies who you can get in for Newton and NVB. I'd then use the cash to strengthen your forwards.
wines is there to stay… he will be a beast this year.. wouldn't be surprised at all if he is top 6.
Very weak forward line ditch wines, rich or van berlo and upgrade saad
Hi everyone,
Here is my team. I have $900 in the bank.
Defence: H. Shaw, C. Enright, J. Newnes, Ibbotson, Whitecross, Goddard (Edwards, Viojo-Rainbow)
Midfield: Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, Wines, Van Berlo, Boekhorst, Heeney (Vandenberg, Freeman, Krakouer)
Rucks: Natanui, Leuenberger (M. Cox)
Forwards: Deledio, Goddard, Westhoff, Swan, Salem, Blease (C. Daniels, Lambert)
Have a feeling this might be the year Westhoff dispels those consistency woes. Nice looking side mate, I'll have to think long and hard about whether to take a punt on injury-prone rucks without backup. Ibbotson a risk but definitely worth a look if fit
You may be correct, which should make him an upgrade target, not a starter.
Impressive!
Like the Westhoff pick. Considering him myself, read somewhere he's been traing with the mids and could play more up the ground like Roughy.
Sad to see Waters retiring. Such a great footballer with so much talent.
Hear hear BC. Sad day
If anyone wants to join a league the code is 277781
Hoping to make a strong league with teams that come top 20%
Hi community, given the news about Beau Waters, what does everyone think of trading Bartel to Tom Mitchell so I have the cash to up Waters to Enright? Looks the best option for me at the moment I think.
I like it, i'd take titchell and enright over waters and bartel anyway!
Need the community's help.
DEF: Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Seedsman, Goddard, Viojo-Rainbow, McKenzie, Newman
MID: Ablett, Pendles, Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, Biggs, Boekhorst, Freeman, Heeney, Steele, Lambert
RUC: Goldy, Leuey, Cox
FWD: Goddard, Martin, Swan, Walters, Hogan, Laverde, Daniel, Krakouer.
$153,300 left in the bank.
Thoughts?
Too much cash left over, and depending on your bye strategy, way too many round 12 players missing.
With ur bank upgrade seedsman he's still recovering from hip surgery and borderline collingwoods best 22
Salem was BOG in the club intra match today. And they are looking at a role for him bringing the ball out of defence because of his skills. There goes the keys. Man love for bullseye right here
Bullseye The Distributor. Oh to dream! Could he be Shannon Hurn mk2 sans the weekly tag? It's a stirring, stirring prospect
Thanks for the info Itchy.
I thought from your name that you are a Collingwood man.
I am now concerned that you actually make Pies.
Having itchy nuts and being a pieman puts me off eating Pies and reminds me too much of that Maguire bloke who has his finger in too many pies. Let the fireworks begin. Collingwood have money to waste and cause players to have asthma if they are not conditioned to it. They will need every advantage they can this year because they need it.
If you do make pies why not become a sponsor?
thoughts of Bellchambers at f4? Would rather him at f5 but struggling to find the cash
My Thought's on "Ding Dong" Hmmmm Would love him down the back with Higensssssssssssssss.
Unfortunately Game of Thrones has a lock on killing serious players, but these two are in my cast as the crew on Star Trek The one's who get beamed down with McCoy, Jim and LT Uhura … Dead in the 1st Beamed down sequence and the second is the dude that says nothing, does nothing but dies by Phaser and disappears in the last home planet shot.. Ahhh Gene Rodenberry you had GoT covered…
If you think he's value, then it doesn't matter whether he's F4 or F5 mate. You'll just be lighter on at F5 if you start him at F4, and stronger somewhere else as a result.
True opinion on this one mate i do not see Bellchambers or any other dual position Ruck being on the ground in the forward line.
Totally depends on your team structure but Rucks are as much as a conundrum as Backs are this year and Super-Coach have thrown up another problem for us this year yet again, That is what makes this selection process so difficult.
forget about DDP rucks this year. Use a trade if one goes down
Only DPP ruck should be a non playing bench.
Should we be jumping on Whitecross or are we better of just getting a cheaper rookie?
Depends who stands up really. Best 22? Hawks are very strong so he could find himself in and out of the team IMO
Whitecross might struggle to get in the Hawks best 22. he is only 25 years old (seems a lot older) so the hawks will be careful with him, might get a few green/red vests if he does play. If he does get a start and looks like keeping his place, he is a LOCK. The best thing about Whitecross he will be hungry to play and will give it 100% shot to be ready to play and when he does he will tackle anything that moves.
Been messing around with my team A LOT and was wondering peoples thoughts??
DEF- Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Docherty, Henderson, Edwards. –Dick, Mckenzie
MID- Ablett, Pendlebury, Kennedy, Wines, Crouch, Wells, Heeney, Boekhurst. –Atkins, Freeman, Krakouer.
RUC- Goldstein, Leunberger — Cox
FWD- Goddard, Martin, Swan, Bellchambers, Salem, Hogan.– Daniel, Lambert
Like Goldy in there – reliable as they come. Bellchambers a risk but it seems that backup in the ruck stocks is almost necessary this year. Crouch, Wines, Wells could all fire if fit; great looking side mate!
Hey community, been toying around with Steve Motlop in the fwd line. Awkward price but can't seem to resist the prospect of an injury-free, goalkicking speedster who'll get a run up the wing as well. Will watch in NAB but would love your thoughts?
I keep putting him in my team and then taking him out……. Tempting
Long time out of the game and will need match fitness in the twos. Downgrade option
Heard rocket talking about how he will play GAJ: didn’t 100% guarantee full midfield time … Should we be worried?
If he’s missing more than 2 limbs I’d think about not picking him.
I would only be worried if he wasn't on the ground. But even then he would probably still get SC points for sitting on the bench.
He plays everywhere on the ground anyway.
Thoughts on team please:
def: shaw, newnes, docherty, henderson, whitecross
mid: ablett, pendles, fyfe, griffen, swallow, rich, heeney, freeman
ruck: goldy, nicnat
fwd: goddard, martin, swan, tMitchell, clark, hogan
thanks
Solid Team, obviously looks as if you've sacrificed the DEF line. Who's the 6th DEF?
Clark is a risk, I would prefer Salem. Rich is a mid-price trap, rest look good
Hearing people say its better to pick cheap rookie mids (130k and below) than the mids around the 200k price. Remember Dom Tyson was priced there last year and he was very very solid. If the job security and talent is there surely blokes like VBerlo, Biggs, Hartung, Salem etc be considered as strongly as the cheap rookies, thoughts?
Ben Newton looks tempting also now with Petracca down
Unfortunately, price is not a reflection on scoring capability or this game would be easy! For every Dom Tyson there is a Viv Michie, Jack Martin, Dom Sheed, X. Ellis. High priced rookies from last year who didn't live up to the hype. Injuries and vest duties do not discriminate.
Also price is not a guaranteed output of higher scores. A picking a higher priced rookie (NVB – 215k) over someone like Freeman (123k) is 92k that you could use to strengthen other lines.
What I want from rookie selections is games, the more games, the more money made (there have been some exceptions to this rule, but only a few). Van Berlo is rookie priced and will play every game, if he remains fit. First rookie picked in my mind. Salem was my second.
Hey guys,
I'm new to the Jock Reynold's community and 3rd year SC player. Structure and contingency plans seem to be the way to go. I remember having Daisy last year and some other mid priced banana and trying to recover was a disaster. Hoping to avoid the same thing this year. Damn these tempting midpricers!
Rich will be this years daisy!
Rich's price isn't low enough to put him in. He isn't going to average anymore than 85 (with the occasional big score offset by a below average) – just like Daisy LY. He won't go up in price enough to put him in there just as a cash cow – seriously you can't expect him to get near $500k and if he did there are plenty of rookies who will appreciate more than $100k.
Salem currently my F7. Is it worth keeping him or downgrading to a cheaper rookie and saving 60k??
Thanks
Impressed in the dees intra club match yesterday. Hang onto him for now
Taylor Hunt anyone?
No thanks. Will probably be the tagger at richmond with dan jackson gone. Five years in the system and his highest yearly average is 64.9
Fair point. Just throwing it out there, worth a question being a sub 300k DEF. Sign of the times that he even crossed my mind
If you haven't got Dane Swan in your Fwd line in Round 1 you'll be wasting a trade to get him. He's back. Smashed it in the intra club match yesterday.
Yep, another to seriously consider is Ben Kennedy, apparently close to BOG in yesterday's intra club match.
Seedsman or Ibboston???
big dilemma here
I'd actually go for someone like vlastuin or yeo in that price bracket – both will get a run through the midfield and look to be ripe for breakout years.
We may have a new defensive rookie unearthing himself. Michael Manteit is his name for the Pies. Apparently he was a stand out in the intra club match yesterday. He will need to come off the rookie list but the Pies have a spot even without Scharenberg.
I like the sound of him as a bargain defender. Nickname Manboob?
manboob it is
current backline is
Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Ibbotson, Henderson, Edwards with manteit and saad on the bench.
Thoughts? using the d5 statedgy but worrying if this Is too many risks?
Back yourself in, scano. Many are running with a weakened defence which could be a massive disaster. No right or wrong ways to go in supercoach
running with a weakened defence is one thing, but you have too many risks in 1 line imo. Shaw and Hibbo only played 18 games last year, shaw has only maxed at 19 games for a season for the last 7 years and hibbo showed signs of soft tissue injuries last year, ibbo and Henderson suffered LTI last year. There's 4 players who can miss games any week , in one line only. Personally I've had all of those guys run through my backline, but I will only be keeping one of them, if any , based on nab form. The rest I'm looking for value in players who have proven full seasons last year , with full pre seasons and are on the up.
Newnes looks to be in most teams, so is probably a mandatory pick for everyone now.
Interesting inclusion of Mitch Wallis there Jock! It is such an awkward price to consider but with his tackling ability and hunger for the contest he makes a tasty bait on the tip of the line. Question is, will he bloody tag?!
With Libba out there’s a decent chance Bevo may put Wallis out to feed…
Toby Greene?
Massive risk vs massive reward. I don't have the guts to do it, but he would be a lock if he was 50k cheaper.
