195k left in the bank too! Still have a lot of rookie research to do though πŸ™‚

team is looking quite decent, your missing out on the money makers in the ruck IMO, also Zorko is inconsistent, will bang out a huge score one week then score horrible the next, if i were you id maybe downgrade Mummy or Ryder to kreuzer, bellchambers e.c.t then use the money to make get another premium midfielder or a mid pricer in Daniel Rich who could turn premium quite easily.

Scharenberg out for most of the year sustained a serious ACL injury at the end of last season

Done 3 edits this morning already!
That's to go with about 10 yesterday…

DEF: Maceski, H Shaw, Waters, WhiteX, Marsh, J Kolo | Fuller, Wigg
MID: God, Pendles, Fyfe, Jelwood, Griff, Rich, NVB, Cripps | Heeney, Freeman, Cavka
RUCK: Maric, DogDog | Cox
FWD: Lids, Floggard, Swan, Sinclair, Clark, Hubert Goddard | Steele, Lonie

112k in bank

Sorry to be so ignorant but who is DogDog?

nic nat

thanks for that

I've been planning set and forget since the end of last year. Loving the reduction in the ruck bench, R4 was always such a waste!!

Hi jock/Sarah

No R4 is awesome, just a shame supercoach didn't eliminate VC! There is no need for VC with rolling lockouts! No VC would prevent the game being manipulated and a higher skill level would be required picking the right captain. Jock can you please suggest this to the herald sun.

Better still, make vice captain worth 1.5 x points like in the supercoach finals series. It would mean players could take more of a risk with their vc each week knowing they still have an Ablett or Pendles to bank on for the captaincy.

The article today at over at superfooty…

“He’s going to have to find a new role,” Malthouse said of Kreuzer on Monday.

“We want him to play a lot of football forward and ruck and he’s undertaken that program to just dedicate himself … to being able to catch the football, put a bit of pressure on the tall backs and kick goals.”

Pick with caution

10 marks and a handful of goals to go with his quality on ball play. Micks comments make him a lock.

Seaford Scouse

Bang on Wombats, I agree, this makes him more relevant not less. Lock for me with Maric and burger

Thanks for the support Scouse but I must point out that you will have a 300k player sitting on the bench at start

Seaford Scouse

Hey Wombats, do you have special powers? No reply option to your comment!

Anyway, understand the dollars sitting on the bench but I’ve gone for value elsewhere and believe with kruze and berger they will accumulate $$ and offer a safety net against a trade if one of them breaks down with a short term injury whilst offering up a nice trade up to a premium when the time is right and any rookie that looks to be on the bubble. Saying that my strategy will go through a few different courses before rd1 no doubt so will tinker with a set and forget as well but the lack of value in the defensive line this year goes against that methinks. More research definitely required to adapt to the changes.

Def: Simpson, Shaw, Newnes, Waters, Hamling, Maynard (Howe, Newman)
Mids: Ablett, Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, Anderson, Heeney, Boekhorst, Laverde (Freeman, Gore, McKenzie)
Rucks: Jacobs, Goldstein (Bellchambers)
Fwds: Gray, Deledio, Goddard, Swan, Clarke, Markworth (Steele, Daniel)

Rookies not locked in stone yet. I've chosen the ruckmen this way as it should negate any ruck trades and will also give me full ruck coverage during the byes (barring injury of course).

Have gone the same way with the rucks Sarah, but have gone with the Sandi/Nic Nat/Kruze combo.

You can't start the year with a player over 200k on the bench, let alone 300k.
If you have your heart set on bellchambers, you can place him in the forward line for one of clarke, markworth, steele or daniel and choose mason cox as r3.
This will also open up a ruck/forward swung which could proof crucial with one less ruck bench.

Seaford Scouse

Ooh I like the Caleb Daniel call Sarah, high on the watch list for me at the moment I’m just hoping he’s tucking into some Festive tucker to add to that 65kg ‘bulk’ of his! I can see Dalhaus spending more time time in the mids this year with Griffs defection I mean departure, which would open up a spot for him if he can take it.(no 1 ranked at nationals as well with 172 Avg, very tasty)

Not sure on Dean Gore, cats managed they’re rooks very carefully last year but if named rd1 could be a belter.

Heeney another one I would be watching closely even with Mal gone. Rest of the rookies good picks at the moment.

Agree with the fwd/ruck swing comment by stick man also.

My favorite pick of this team I reckon is Sloane, highly underrated gun mid and a great pod, great selection Imo.

Just working on the core at this point

B Smith. H Shaw J.Newns

Gaz O Wines R Sloane J Sellwood
J O’Meara D Tyson

Dog dog Kreuzer

B Deledio B Goddard Swan Bellchambers

My team.
Def. malceski shaw hodge waters whitecross n brown ( h Goddard lever )
Mid. Ablett pendlebury fyfe rockliff rich heeney laverde freeman ( j Steele stretch hiscox )
Rck. Ryder natanui ( cox )
Fwd. deledio Goddard swan christensen clarke lamb ( krakouer lambert )

Have thought of some adjustments where I have swapped shaw for brodie smith and hodge for newnes, rockliff down to sloane. Ryder and natanui to goldstein and Jacobs.

Taking a fistful of salt with the rookies of course, here is my current format. I tried to stick by the following principles
1) guns and rookies (fallen premiums excluded – defence premiums? where are you)
2) a maximum of 3 risky picks (I'm looking at you beau waters) with none in the midfield.
3) set and forget/lone wolf rucks who play consistently (goldtsein did a nasty shoulder injury early 2014 and didn't miss a game – significant)
newnes, carlisle, ibbotson, waters, scharenberg, fuller
(J Kolodjashnij, H Goddard)
Bald Jeezus, Rocky, Dependlebury, Treloar , Steven, S Selwood, Boekhorst, Heeney
(Waterman, Hiscox, Freeman)
Sauce Jacobs, Goldmember
(M Cox)
Delidio, D Martin, Swan, T Mitchell, Salem, Clarke
(Hogan, Karnezis)

I am very happy with the strength of the fwd and ruck lines but the extra spend has resulted in a very ordinary backline.

would be great to hear your thoughts

Scharenberg is injured isnt he?

Won't be fit until round 15.

I’m liking Jack Steven to have a bounce back season!

No Lenny Hayes, tread with caution re Jack Steven.

Joey Montagna not the player he use to be. Tag likely to head to Steven week in, week out?

Reckon Carlisle, S Selwood and Ibbo fit the risky category along with waters coach Koach. Ya might need to revise those principles

I was thinking along the same lines though I would also throw in Steven who isn't a proven performer in a team that will lose a lot next year plus Tom Mitchell if he'll get game time this year or not. Having said that, I don't mind the team and I have both the last 2 fairly high on the old watch list

fuller is on a modified preseason plan and wont have a full preseason and same as s selwood

Simpson, Hibberd, Heath Shaw, Waters, Whitecross, Nathan Brown (Rourke Smith, Hugh Goddard)
Ablett, Pendlebury, Jobe Watson, Joel Selwood, Dangerfield, Daniel Wells, Boekhorsk, Nathan Van Berlo (Heeney, Gore, Cockatoo)
Bellchambers, Kreuzer (Eric Wallace, captains loophole)
Swan, Goddard, Deledio, Saad, Mitch Clark, Petracca (Jayden Foster, Markworth)

Just trying to mix it up this year, Don't know about Van Berlo, but he's cheap and will go up in price. I really like Daniel Wells.

Notice that you and a few others have included Whitecross fr Hawks. I presume he's looking good in the preseason so far.

First crack… would appreciate any feedback

Simpson, Birchall, Cheney, Mayes, Lever, Brown, Hamling, Goddard
Ablett, Fyfe, Selwood, Parker, Christensen, Rich, Van Berlo, De Goey, Heeney, Vandenberg, Lambert
Jacobs, Lycett, Nankervis
Deledio, Goddard, Ryder, Clark, Hogan, Laverde, Steel, Daniel

Sam Mayes is an excellent pick, Christenson is ballsy. I like your ruck $ spend. Whole team maybe a little bit too reliant on 1st year players but who knows.

version 2 of my team here
DEF: Heater Shaw, Jaensch, Birchall, Waters, Dick, Johnson, Floggard Jnr, Wigg
MID: GAJ, Jelwood, JPK, Treloar, Wines, Nathan VB, Biggs, Smith, Morabito, Boekhorst, Steele
RUCK: Nic Nat, Tommy BellC, Lobb
FWD: Floggard, Ryder, Bennell, Bundy Christensen, Membrey, Hogan, Clark, Lambert

Feedback is appreciated

IMO too many rookies

I have another version of my team which i like more but has more 1 more rookie here it is
DEF: Shaw, Jaensch, Birchall, Rampe, Dick, Johnson, Goddard Jnr, Wigg
MID: GAJ, JPK, Priddis, Wines, Brayshaw, Morabito, VB, Smith, Boekhorst, Freeman, Steele
RUCK: Goldy, Nic Nat, Lobb
FWD: Goddard Snr, Ryder, Bennell, Bundy Christensen, Membrey, Hogan, Clark, Lambert

Excellent James but I think you're missing the definition of 'too many'.Usually when somebody suggests that you have too many of something they are suggesting that you reduce the number i.e. take some away. What you have done is add more to the 'too many' you already had. This has no affect on the Too many scenario.

sorry wombat i think hes got a good amount of rookies in his team

No need to apologise for having wrong thoughts about SC Edward.Perhaps next time you visit your doctor you can ask them to explain the difference between 'wrong thoughts' and the 'Bad Thoughts' that you take the pills for.

I think you need to take a chill pill Wombats. He's only got 8 or 9 players who haven't played a game in each team by my count. It's a bit hard to have less than 14 or 15 rookies with the budget anyway.

It's a Joke Joyce the first item on your xmas list should be a sense of humour.

Very salty today, Wombats. Very salty.

Haha I'm a cranky old prick and much like the Tanami or Stony deserts my inhospitable 1st impressions can prevent the unitiated from experiencing the wonders that emerge after the sunsets. This is probably more understandable by those with an advanced Australian understanding of lifeΒ  like Dools and Itchy

Would say "the wonders that emerge after the sunsets" would be a slight overselling of your vinegary replies.

It's all in the interpretation. the lines were thrown in a playful butterfly manner. I shouldn't be held responsible if they are caught by persons with inside out prickle gloves on.

Indeed. None whatsoever.

I dunno Wombats, it's not coming across well. I think you've been a bit harsh today.

Hmm, some people create the mental image of a soft cuddly friendly creature when they read the name Wombats. Wombats aren't like that and niether am I. I have a diverse sense of humour that rejoices in Pythonesque scenarios and Shaun Micallef type cynacism. I agree with you that for those who have never encountered me before I can be very abrasive but, that can also be said of sandpaper.I have done nothing more than offer my own advice and opinion in my own concise way.Β  I don't kiss ass (means no lip prints on butt) and I give honest objective opinions intended to benefit the recipient. Those who take offence at the way I wrap my opinions need to pay more attention to whats inside. There is absolutely no aggression or anything untoward in my manner when writing this, I'm an abrupt no crap sort of bloke. sometimes

I like the 'sometimes' comment!!

And, I was being gentle with those guys, just ask Dools or Itchy if you don't believe.

Three rucks a good move, agree with Sarah and Jock on this one. Defenders, as per usual, will be a struggle this season. Plenty of rookies to make money in the centre though. Guns and rookies for me with a couple of possible breakout players.
Def: Nick Malceski, Michael Johnson, Jack Newnes, Rory Laird, Jack Lever,Jake Kolodjashnij,Matthew Fuller,Hugh Goddard.
Mid: Gary Ablett, Nat Fyfe, Michael Barlow, Jack Macrae, Tom MItchell, Jayden Laverde, Daniel Pearce, Isaac Heeney, Blaine Boekhorst, Jack Steele, Matthew Dick.
Ruck: Aaron Sandilands, Nic Natanui, Matthew Kruezer.
Fwd: Robbie Gray, Brendon Goddard, Dane Swan, Michael Walters, Riley Knight, Kieran Harper, Jesse Hogan, Jonathan Freeman.
Zero, narda, noithing left in the bank. Looks quite balanced for a first effort.

Article In The Age describes Malthouse talking about forward line role for Kreuzer. He has been training with the tall timber and apparently excelling. Warnock is said to be going to do most of the ruckwork. Is this good or bad community?

Ruck kicking goals and taking contested marks. Must be good.

Well it's good because he won't be getting negative points for hitouts that don't go to advantage but it's bad because in the past he's been a rubbish forward.

Still in my team.

I remember him tearing it apart at CHF the day/night he did his knee. Reckon he marked everything that passed halfway on the full up until he landed awkwardly.
Since that injury he has been very tentative in contested marking situations (even though the injury occurred after a non-contested mark). If MM can repair the psych injury he will win the Coleman.

My team so far (early days):
DEF: Malceski, Shaw, Hibberd, Waters, Cameron, Lever (Scharenberg, Fuller)
MID: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Griffen, Rich, Petracca, Van Berlo, Brayshaw (Henney, Freeman, Clem Smith)
RUCK: Jacobs, Kreuzer (Bellchambers)
FWD: Gray, Deledio, Swan, Mitch Clark, Hogan, H Goddard (Krakouer, Lambert)
Unsure of fitness of some, i.e. Scharenberg. Let me know your thoughts?

James Sykes

Afternoon all.

First crack at it. Noteables – No Gazza, midprice madness in defence, No Kreuzer.

D: Hodgy, Patful, Ibbo, Seedsman, Waters, Merrit (Whitecross, N Brown)
M: Pendles, Fyfe, Joelwood, Griffo, Rich, Van Berlo, P Cripps, Heeney (Vandenberg, Freeman, k Lambert)
R: NicNat, Berger (Bellchambers)
F: Deledio, Goddard, Swan, J Kelly, Petrecca, M Clark (Hogan, J Steele)

You dont want cash being wasted on the pine. Downgrade Bellchambers to Mason Cox or Peter Wright.
Upgrade Patfull and Seedsman to Simpson and Heath Shaw. And why would you consider nathan brown at all, swap him for hugh goddard.

Here's my first crack! Love to get some feedback guys

Still need quite a bit of tinkering with rookies and the fact that round 12 bye is going to hurt all of us

Def: Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Laird, Waters, H.Goddard – Lever, Newman
Mid: GAJ, Fyfe, Dangerfield, JPK, Rich, Van Berlo, Heeney, Freeman – Boekhurst, Laverde, Jar.Garlett
Ruc: Jacobs, Ryder – Durdin
For: Goddard, Franklin, Swan, T. Mitchell, Clark, T. Lamb – Hogan, Cox

Seaford Scouse

Back line looks good DL; no-one overs although Shaws a party animal so not in my considerations.

Great top line mids also rich and NVB a double-risk but one I’m running with also atm. Rooks as good as you can choose till NAB.

Sauce might be a problem given the new rule on ineffective hit outs but I’d wait until one of the community do a piece on that a bit later which I’m sure they will πŸ™‚ Any specific reason on Durdin also, not sure he’ll see too much time? Consider moving Ryder to fwd line and putting Cox as r3 as your swing and look to kreuzer/berger/bellboy to offer some value there as well.

Fwds look all right though be careful going with 3 KPFs, could be bumpy!

Doesn't a 'Set and Forget' ruck strategy deprive you of up to 3 dimensions of swing trade flexibility? Seem like a stupid strategy in a game that revolves around trading and depends on players who regularly break or get suspended..

I think a loop hole strategy is stupid and somehow immoral. Pick your captain and live with it, that is why we have vice captains.

it is not stupid, loop hole gives you two options for greater scoring, vice captains only are needed if your captain isn't playing, in case you forgot. This is just me, but im hoping that my captain plays

DEF: Malceski Simpson, Hibberd, Waters, Bews, Goddard, Brown Krakour
MID: GAJ, Rockliff Selwood, Treloar, Heppell, Nathan Van Berlo, Vandenberg, Newton, Brayshaw, Boekhorst, Blakely
RUCK: Jacobs, Bellchambers, Lobb
FWD: Goddard, Ryder, Bennell, Franklin Walters, Membrey, Hogan, Clark, Lambert

sorry no membry in there

hey guys do you think sam durdin is much of a chance to play in 2015?

Seaford Scouse

Hard to see him getting regular game time methinks Edward, unlikely to get a gig as backup ruck with Daw and Currie ahead of him but may squeeze into a defensive spot if injuries affect. North definitely looking to go top 4 this year as well though so can’t see too many opportunities for their rookies and likely sub role for Durdin given his versatility if he can crack the squad.

Def: Burgoyne, walker, Lumumba, Gilbert, waters, brown | Johnson , Goddard

Mids: Ablett, ward, Parker, wines, rich, van berlo, Newton, Biggs | blease, Anderson, freeman

Ruck: giles, Kruezer | mckernan

Forward: Deledio, Goddard, swan, Mitchell, Clark, hogan | Steele, krakour

Left with $251,300 in the bank

Couldn't touch Sam Gilbert if you paid me. Last time he showed SC relevance was in 2009-2010.

Really like the Parker selection Deca. Kids a gun.

I couldn't have Giles as R1. Hasn't got anywhere near his 2012 average of 93.2. Even in 2013 before Mumford came on the scene, he only managed an average of 74.9 in 22 games.

I'd be spending more cash too.

Probably one of the worst sides I've seen in a while, you'd be looking at 1600-1700 a week

First of many changes most likely,

Def: Malceski, Simpson, Walker, Waters, Moore [FWD], Hugh Goddard [FWD] (Rourke Smith [MID], Daniel Howe)
Mids: GAJ, Pendles, J Selwood, Sloane, Swan [FWD], Newton, Heeney, Laverde [FWD] (Freeman, Dean Gore, Jack Steele [FWD])
Rucks: NicNat, Kreuzer (Nankervis)
Fwd: Deledio [MID], Goddard [MID], Dustin Martin [MID], Tom Mitchell [MID], Salem, Mitch Clark (Hogan, Jack Lonie)

Cash remaining: $49,100

Any thoughts? : )

Cripps instead of Newton would be a fine start.

Def: Smith, Hibberd, Hurn, Mayes, Waters, Whitecross (Scharenberg, McGuiness)
Mid: Ablett, Pendles, Fyfe, Steven, Rich, Petracca, Van Berlo, Newton (Heeney, Vandenberg, Lambert)
Ruc: Kreuzer, Leuy (Griffin)
Fwd: Lids, Goddard, Swan, Mitchell, Clark, Salem (Hogan, Steele)
At least if it's bad i have the it's only December excuse

i still have 50,200k left

Well done Rhino your team will not be outscored for the next 22 weeks

The video is brilliant Jock.

Does anyone have the scoring table for 2015, or is it available yet?

I cancelled my Herald Sun/SC Gold subscription mid way through this year out of principal.

Live HQ would ask me to re-login 7548695487457584 times per round. Numerous irate emails to HS and problems still existed, therefore i cancelled my subscription….hence not having access to SC Gold Team Planner.

This info would be greatly appreciated if anyone has it. Cheers.

Can I download it from SC Gold?

I found 2014 scoring table by logging in and clicking on the "?" at the top left. Then selecting 'Point Scoring' from the list.

Not sure if you can do the same in SC Gold to find 2015 scoring table. If you can have a try, that'd be great Womby.

Trying to find out the new point scoring, especially for the ruck situation.

Nah sadly that info doesn't appear to be available.

Bugger! Thanks for having a look though, appreciate it.

Hope someone has it on hand somewhere.

Want to do some research on rucks, but need this new scoring info. Deduction for ineffective HO's?

How do they determine an ineffective hitout? If Ollie bulldozes Sloane all day and Sharks Sauces taps does that make sauce ineffective?

Not 100%, hence why i'm tying to track down the Scoring Table. Heard someone mentioning deducting points for ineffective HO's and greater points for HO's to Advantage.

In that case, i think it may……Bad Sauce.

Yeah and suddenly a trim fast Robbie Warnock is looking good.

Did the same, Twoof. Canceled after the byes. Driving me batty. No value when your tech doesn't work on a consistent basis.

Definitely no value at all Throtts.

Sent multiple emails to them, and received the same bullsh!t type response every time. Generally they would take 4-5 days to respond too. Unprofessional. So told them where to go!

Hi all, without having seen a ball bounced in anger, its difficult to settle upon rookies. That said, since the draft I've trawled through countless various sites soaking up as much info on the 2015 rookie class. 2015 is shaping to be a very tough year – again there will be robust debate on the most appropriate strategy: Prems and Rookies etc etc. Anyhow, the team below albeit V1 is a platform from which I will launch into next seasons exciting DT and Supercoach rollercoaster! Thoughts are always welcome.

DEF:Simpson, Hodge, Birchall, Mayes, Varcoe, Henderson, (Scharenberg, Goddard)
MID:Pendles, Sidebottom, Barlow, Treloar, Rich, Brayshaw, Heeney, Boekhorst, Dumont, (Krakouer,Stretch)
FWD:Goddard,Ryder, Martin, Swan, Petracca, Hogan, (Knight, Lambert)

No GAJ, Rock, or Fyfe? Your captain options are looking thin.

Here's the first draft of my supercoach side, what do you reckon?
DEF: Malceski, Yarran, Ibbotson, Waters, Whitecross, D.Moore/ H.Goddard, N.Brown
MID: Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, Boak, Cooney, Rich, Aish, Heeney/ Freeman, N.Krakouer, Laverde
RUC: Leuenberger, Kreuzer/ Wright
FWD: Deledio, B.Goddard, Ryder, Swan, Clark, Hogan/ Lambert, Steele

Not enough Carlton players

As a Carlton supporter, they're always my downfall so I've tried to cut back a little bit in my boys hahah!

Looks like a very solid squad considering it's your very first draft at it this year, I like the Defence line especially!

Good as team bro, Leuenberger and Kreuzer are premium standard without a doubt!!!

I don't know whether to feel proud that I have inspired you to achieve your ultimate intellectual and artistic capacity in creating such an amusing name or, whether I should feel sad that you are so depressed, insecure and lonely at 9pm on Christmas eve that you are lashing out at a non-existent entity from your personal agoraphobic hell.

You are important. People do care about you.Even I care about you. If you need to talk about it call lifeline on 13 11 14

Mate, it’s probably someone who took one of your earlier comments too personally.

Ladies and Gentlemen, pay attention to the message, not the delivery on these comments. One pearl of wisdom helped me talk myself out of a move that would have screwed me last year.

If you must take anything from the delivery of a post from Wombats, you will find that the ‘pricklyness’ of the comment and the level of warning are proportionate

Thanks Ninja.I'm glad I was of help last year.

Rayza Ray

Agree Wombats is a GUN of this competition and must be listened to and respected. You have mine buddy.

I could be in for a Brownlow this year, with the Umps in my corner. Thanks Rayza, any chance of paying a free against Gaz this year?

Risky back line? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! But think there is improvement from these young and returning lads

NoDikHeadPolicy 2015 draft 1

Def: Birch/ Johnson/ Rampe/ Henderson/ Tippet/ N. Brown
Bench: Goddard / Dick

Mid: Pendles/ Selwood/ Kennedy/ Griffen/ T. Mitchell/ Rich/ Van Berlo/ Heeney
Bench: Laverde/ Steele/ A Saad

Ruck: Niknat/ Kreuzer
Bench: McLaren

Fwds: Ryder/ Buddy/ Swan/ Tippett/ Hogan/ Clark
Bench: Membrey/ Krakouer

No GAJ/ Rockwiz – will wait to see if I can snare them a bit lower
$309k in the bank to upgrade a fallen premo early

Could make a lot of hot chips with your D5 and D6.

Would be spending more cash on those two positions.

Def: Walker, Fisher, Ibbotson, Waters, B.Goodes, Whitecross, (Moore, Fuller)
Mid: Ablett, Pendles, Watson, Cotchin, Kerridge (m/f), Trengrove, Van Burlo (Heeney, Freeman, Krakouer)
Ruck: Kruezer, Luey (M. Cox – r/f)
Fwd: Goddard, Ryder, Franklin, Swan, Clarke, Hogan (Saad, Laverde – m/f)

*krakouer m/f and ryder r/f

ahh left out S.Johnson as M4

I believe brett goodes got delisted.

Brett Goodes received a lifeline, and was rookie drafted.

No premo defenders anymore is a big plus and I only need 1 premo FWD to start which lets me get a few extra point scorers in the middle

Hurn, Shannon – Houli, Bachar – Docherty, Sam
Mayes, Sam – Buckley, Dylan – Waters, Beau (Johnson, Alex Goddard, Hugh)

Ablett- Rockliff – Pendlebury – Fyfe
Gray,R – Treloar – Griffen – Cripps (Boekhorst, Smith, Laverde)

Kreuzer – Leuenberger (Cox)

Swan – Menzel- Salem
Saad Ah – Clark – Steele (Krakouer, Lambert)

V8 Engine room right there Womby!

Forward line is left a little light on.

What are you expecting Christian Salem to hit this season?

Forwards are a massive waste of cash salem, Steele and Saad wont get a jumper they're just there as camoflauge

Camouflage, clever!

Thanks for the spelling lesson )

Hahahaha…..a right mouse-click.

The word from Princes Park this week is Boekhorst is a walk up midfield starter if he doesn't break beforehand.

Not bad!! I'll slot him in the draft i'm working on now.

Had a look at him on the AFL website 'Draft Tracker'. 21yo, excellent….Ready to Go! Thanks Womby!

You have an absolute gun midfield, but in my opinion. Your backline is lacking premiums. Your forward line is untrustworthy and your Ruck options are a bit risky, but great midfield

Thanks Rick but there aren't any Premo defenders this year, just a few overpriced injury magnets. Fwd is still in progress but Salem, Saad & Krak have all been dumped and R.Gray comes fwd. Any ruck who doesn't actually play in the ruck will be a must in 2015 when rucks will lose points everytime a hitout is sharked I think Luey might have better Shark protection than Sauce or Goldy.

In order to accumulate it is often necessary to speculate.

Seen a lot better out there bud

No you haven't. You idolize me to the point of fantasizing about a life of total servitude. I hope your a sheila.

Defenders: Malceski, Simpson, Hibbers, Sharanberger, Moore, waters/ Goddard, Bews (Im skeptical on sharanberger)
Midfielders:Ablett,Heppel,Rockliff,Wines,Cockatoo,Boekhurst,Petracca,Brayshaw/ Heeny, Laverde, Lambert (Im skeptical on brayshaw)
Rucks: Ryder, Kreuzer (I think ryder will have a ripper year at port)
Forwards:Franklin, Goddard, Zorko, Swan, Mccartin, Clark/ Lamb,Hogan

I still got 130 k in the bank. I would appreciate thoughts and suggestions πŸ™‚

Ive replaced brayshaw with daniel rich

DEF: K Simpson, B smith, J Newnes, G Ibbotson, B waters, N Brown (D McKenzie, Adamson [loophole]
MID: G Ablett, S Pendlebury, N Fyfe, J Selwood, R Griffin, N Van Berlo, J Anderson, A Vandenberg (J Laverde, N Freeman, N Krakouer)
RUC: N Naitanui, M Kreuzer (T Nankervis)
FWD: R Gray, B Deledio, D Swan, T Mitchell, M Clark, J Hogan (J Steele, K Lambert)

DEF: Shaw, Walker, Newnes, Waters, Giles, Goddard (Fuller/Rainbow)
MID: Gaz, Pendles, Sloane, Treloar, Tyson, Scooter Selwood, NVB, Morabito (Boekhart, Saad, Freeman)
RUC: NicNat, Kreuze (Read)
FWD: Goddard, St. N, Swan, Mayne, Bellyache, Clark (Steele, Krakouer)

Not convinced on VanBerlo and Morabito at M8 & M9 for some reason, what is your thinking behind these two selections throttle?

Hey Liam. NVB gives you something that rooks can't: proven AFL-level talent, can average 80 and hit a ton. Question marks and learning curve are avoided. Morabito has done well in the minors and has the talent to make a dent at Freo. They are big on him (yet not to the point of playing him in their 22). Both will require pre-season assurances for sure.

Risk on both is lower than most…and minimizing the risks is the name of the game, my man.

First Draft – $7500 in the bank.

Feel like I've got good swingsets in place already – but I'm feeling very light on in the midfield…

I like your structure, dbremmer06. A bit of a slow burner though as it's going to take until the byes for those mid rooks to fatten up. I'd look at taking out one or both of eski or brodie smith, and one of gray/floggard/ryder for a cheaper option/s. Invest cash into your mids

I think you're right Kev. I'll be downgrading Kreuzer and investing more $$$ into midfield before season – turn Blease into a 400K + player – just need a read on which rookies will play. I can also throw Goddard and Swan into the midfield and pick up a forward rookie if one is on the bubble.

As far as being a slow burner – last two years my light has burnt brightly but quickly. Patience required this season for me. Again – a lot will depend on which rookies play. I like Laverde, but I don't see him getting much game time.

Would you be able to give me a price on s.selwood, Ivan maric and jamie Elliot please?

S Selwood 433,100
Maric 535,900
Elliot 447,400

Seaford Scouse

Think you’re over-protecting the rucks with a double strategy db. You could free up some cash by either losing the forward swing option or opting for a rookie as r3 given you’ve got got the forward swing as backup.

Lots of rookies in the midfield as well, forward line looks pretty decent though.

Yeah, on second look – you're right about the rucks. I think I'll downgrade Kreuzer to a rookie (thinking McLaren or that American Collingwood fella) and upgrade a mid.

id keep kreuzer mate and downgrade gaschambers or move him into your forward and downgrade ryder!
up to you though

Welcome back everyone, great to be back, love this time of year!
First attempt, here goes:

DEF: Malceski, Smith B, Hodge, Henderson, Waters, Moore (Tippett J, Brown N)
MID: Jelwood, Sloane, JPK, Danger, deGoey, Blease, Heeney, Vandenberg (Stretch, Krakouer, Lambert)
RUC: Goldy, Ryder (McKernan)
FWD: Gray, Lids, Swan, Clark M, Saad, Hogan (Menzel, Goddard H)

Have tried to just pick the best squad with mostly a Premium/Rookie strategy, rookies a bit of unknown obviously at this stage.

Thinking I'm a premo short in mids but otherwise reasonably happy with 1st effort!

Would love feedback, thanks everyone!

forgot to mention still have $205,200 in bank – too much?

Way too much left over. No Gaz/Pendles/Fyfe? Ryder at Port is risky. Share of ruck load isn't known

Keep on tinkering

Essendon's best player is Jobe and is better value than Heppell IMO.

maybe slim back $$$ outlayed in defence and lift the fwd line a bit.?

Canny the Manny

Well it's not exactly my V1 so to speak as I've made a wide variety of changes since the initial first draft but we'll roll with this.

N. Malceski H. Shaw P. Seedsman BENCH: H. Goddard (FWD)
B. Waters M. Scharenberg S. Duridin (RUC) BENCH: E. Vickis Willis

G. Ablett… ("3 Votes") S. Pendlebury N. Fyfe BENCH: J. Laverde (FWD)

B. Deledio (MID) B. Goddard (MID) D. Martin (MID) BENCH: N. Krakouer (MID)
H. Bennell (MID) M. Clark J. Hogan BENCH: K. Lambert (MID)

The Backline is quite weak, but I think that's going to be the case for everyone. I have gone reasonably heavy in the mids with 4 600K+ players and a more expensive mid-pricer in Swanny. I'm unsure with my ruck situation with Goldy and Kreuzer who can be risky with injuries along with big Mason Cox which I don't know much about and realistically won't play most games. The forward line is decent enough with 4 premiums and 2 rookies (both key position players :/ ) on field and 2 very cheap rookies on the bench.
Overall, it's a decent start I think. Looking forward to learning more about the rookies and seeing who will impress during the NAB competition.

I know they're cheap, but having 2x KPF is a risk. I suspect both will be managed throughout the year (despite all the "training the house down" stuff from their respective clubs)

Your bench cover in the forward line are rookies… You'll need to make sure they've been elevated to the senior list before locking in your team for round 1.

Hi Canny, a few of your starting players are very unlikely to be fit for round 1. If you read feedback about other teams you will find out who.

IMO all defenders over 500k have a negative points to dollar ratio over first 5 rounds = not good.

Canny the Manny

Taken on your suggestions folks and done a quick tidy up. I've opted for more of a 'Guns and Rookies' type thingo, eliminating mid-pricers where I could. Lets see how this one looks.

With a whopping $2,000 left in the warchest, I feel I've filled some wholes throughout the lineup. I know that Shaw, Hodge and Hibbered could well and truly be a waste of coin with mid price players possibly having the the talent to match their scores but I'm only just recovering from my 8th degree burns I suffered from certain mid-priced players last season. Anyway, thanks for the help community, moving onto bigger and better things this upcoming 2015 season!

Team #2 already, have based this strictly on Premo/Rook strategy – no midpricers at all (so no Swan, Hodge, Hibberd, Waters, Christensen, Newnes, Van Berlo, Petracca, Brayshaw, NicNat, Bellchambers, the list goes on….)

DEF: Malceski, Burgoyne (MID), Smith B, Moore D (FWD), Byrne C (FWD), Johnson A, (Schade, Cordy Z)
MID: Jelwood, Sloane, JPK, Parker, Danger, Macrae, Heeney, Vandenberg (Stretch, Krakouer N (FWD), Lambert)

FWD: Gray (MID), Lids (MID), Bennell (MID), Hogan, Laverde (MID), Markworth (Goddard H (DEF), Lamb T)

Canny the Manny

I reckon getting sucked in to changing strategies and structures because of the new prices, players and format could prove to be the downfall of many trying to change things up too much. It wouldn't surprise me if the classic "Guns and Rookies" strategy like this example here was to be the most successful in 2015. Great job Poloko, strip it back and stick to the basics πŸ™‚

wow , it would really take some plums to actually do it.

This is my first crack so don't grill me to much! I've backed throttle in at this early stage with VanBerlo and Morabito and feel light on like most in the backline.

Malceski, Hodge, Mayes, Ibbotson, Waters, A.Johnson, (H.Goddard, Fuller)

Fyfe, Jelwood, Danger, Boak, J.Steven, Rich, NVB, Morabito, (Brayshaw, Freeman, Boekhorst)

Kruezer, Leuenberger, (P.Wright)

Goddard, Ryder, Swan, T.Mitchell, Salem, M.Clark, (Saad, Steele)

looks unique in lots of ways, great job.

just need a bit more grunt in the mids,

See if you have enough $$$$ to upgrade from Danger, Boak, J.Steven to become ABLETT GRIFFEN, WINES ? IMHO

DEF: Hodge (Def/Mid), Birchall, Mayes (Def/Mid), Waters, Smedts, Whitecross
BENCH: Fuller, A.Johnson

MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Parker, Dangerfield, A.Swallow, Petracca (Mid/Fwd), Van Berlo, Boekhurst
BENCH: Morabito, J.Anderson, N.Krakouer (Mid/Fwd)

RUCK: Kreuzer, Leuenberger BENCH: T.Read (Ruck/Fwd)

FWD: R.Gray (Fwd/Mid), Deledio (Fwd/Mid), Goddard (Fwd/Mid), Wingard, GasChambers (Fwd/Ruck), M.Clark
BENCH: D.Menzel, J.Hogan

11.5K Remaining.

This has to be one of the better squads i've laid eyes on so far, like it a lot.

Cheers Liam!

Edit team v35.0 (much happier with my mids, rucks, fwds and better bye round mix) removed some mid pricers allowed for better GnR strat

Def: Walker, Fisher, Ibbotson, Waters, Whitecross, Brown (Scharenberg, Fuller)
Mid: Ablett, Rocky, Pendles, Fyfe, Griffin, Trengrove, Van Berlo, Heney (Vandenberg, Freeman, Steele)
Ruck: NicNat, Kruezer (M.Cox)
Fwd: Harvey, Ryder, Franklin, Swan, Clarke, Hogan (Krakouer, Lambert)

big leap of faith injury curse wise in defence,

coxin rucks excellent with swinging ryder

like Harvey as unique
just on Hogan. be good to see him strut his stuff but key position plyers rarely score enough to warrant as rookies IMO

Hogan is a rookie, looks to be training well, kid can play. Willl make $$. Yeah my backline very shaky im likely to drop fyfe to cotch and maybe ryder to bell chambers if he is fit as ryder might play more fwd this year/might be paying overs. Will depend on rookies if theres a wealth of options ill go another rookie in guts for $$ generation.use the $$ at both ends

So far inj cursed players have worked well for me so far in my 4yr history – ibbo scored well in finals so at that price. Will be Waters last chance but a steal at that price. Whitecross will avg 80-90 if he gets back in team will have earnt it which is good enough for me. Fisher takes 7marks a game if he can get his disp up will be value even at 32yo. Im hoping Walker plays that sweeping role that saw him avg 100+ in 2013

An interesting stat is the top 8 defenders – on any year start from outside the top 8 the year before, rarely does the top defenders hold their position so looking for some value. I believe ibbo, waters, walker can avg 90+ whitecross 80+

Love the M1-M5 Salts, strength beyond strength right there!

Trengrove won't play Round 1, give him the boot.

This is my first go, please give me feedback. Thank You!

DEF: H. Shaw, Hibbert, Walker, B. Waters, Whitecross, N. Brown (H. Goddard, N. Newman)

MID: Ablett, Selwood, Fyfe, Heppell, Rich, N. Van Berlo, S. Blease, I. Heeney (A. Vandenberg, D. Gore, A. Krakouer)

RUCKS: Lobbe, Kreuzer (Nankervis)

FWD: Lids, Buddy, Bennell, Wingard, T. Mitchell, M. Clark (J. Steele, K. Lambert)

I have $4,800 in the bank. Not 100% on Clark due to his fitness but if he is fit he might average 70+.

Van Berlo is not supercoach relevant, Isaac Heeney is unlikely IMO to recieve much game time due to the full team's strong outfit. I believe that Hawthorn are unlikely to take any risk on Whitecross since he is coming back from two knee reconstructions. N. Brown is not supercoach relevant. As a rule of thumb, keep clear from key position defenders, they are lock down players. Good start though.

Seaford Scouse

Jambo NVB is very relevant with a starting price of $215k. Brown should also make some coin but better options IMO. Bang on about Whitecross and Heeney, (he even needs to get past Tommy Mitchell in the waiting line)

im ok with a couple of risks for injury but 3 in the def might be too much in B. Waters, Whitecross, N. Brown.

NVB has enough history to suggest he might double in price before cash him, so hes in mine, Im not hot on Blease but thats just me.

DEF: K. Simpson, L. Hodge, M. Hibberd, P. Seedsman, B. Waters, B. Whitecross (J. Hamling, H. Goddard)
MID: G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, N. Fyfe, J. Selwood, P. Dangerfield, I. Heeney, N. Freeman, B. Boekhorst (J. Anderson, A. Vandenberg, J. Steele)
RUC: M. Kreuzer, M. Leuenberger (M. Cox)
FWD: B. Goddard, D. Martin, D. Swan, T. Mitchell, C. Salem, M. Clark (J. Hogan, N. Krakouer)

great. rucks little injury risks with both.

im a little cold on danger

Thanks, gotta risk it for the biscuit. Danger is massively underpriced, IMO he will go close to a 120 ppg ave. (Reckon he will want to have a big year and pump up his market value for the highest bidder).

This is my first draft for my team.
DEF: Kolodjashnij (Kade), Paul Seedsman, Rampe, Waters, Darley, Savage (H. Goddard (D/F) & Lever)
MID: Callan Ward (GWS), Jack MacRae (WB), Tyson (Melb), Swan (MID/FWD), Toby Greene, Gaff, Cockatoo, Patrick Cripps, (Freeman (Coll), Cavka (WCE) & Clem Smith)
RUC: Paddy Ryder (RUC/FWD) (Port), Ivan Maric (Bellchambers (R/F))
FWD: Robbie Gray (FWD/MID) (Port) Jack Billings (st k), Josh Kelly (FWD/MID) (GWS), Hogan (Melb), Salem (Melb), Cockatoo (Geel), Jack Lonie (st k) & Eli Templeton
$87,600 left. Any feedback or suggestions are most welcome.

start on your second.
try an elite and rookies style. dump anyone between $250 to $400k

Looks light in the back Jambo. No Gaj, Pendles, Rocky or Selwood risks captain points. I'd also consider pushing bellchambers forward for a rookie and put m.cox or p.wright as r3

love the sidebottom selection.. great POD

My version 1.00000001

Defence: J.Newnes (MID), P Seedsman, B Waters, J Lever, D Moore (FWD), H Goddard (FWD), (M Scharenberg, M Fuller)
Mid: G Ablett, S Pendlebury, N Fyfe, Selwood, A Christensen (FWD), D Swan (FWD), D Rich, M Whiley, (I Heeney, B Boekhurst, J Steele)
Ruck: N Naitanui, M Kreuzer (P Wright (FWD))
Forwards: B Deledio (MID), H Bennel (MID), T Mitchell (MID), T Bellchambers (RUC), C Salem, M Clark (J Hogan, C Daniel)

I have gone super cheap in the defence hoping the at least 3 out of my 5 rookies will be playing. Will have to wait and see round one team announcements.

Have Bellchambers in the forward line and peter wright in the ruck so I have some bench cover without having points sitting there wasted on the bench.

Obviously, the midfield is set and forget with a couple of mid pricers

100k in the bank

Your team is good, but peter wright isnt a forward.

He 100% is!!

I really like you structure

Pre Season Team

Smith, Hodge, Ibbotson, Waters, Whitecross, D Moore (H Goddard M Fuller)
Ablett, Fyfe, Jelwood, Dangerfield, Griffen, NVB, Cockatoo, Heeney, (Leverde, Freeman, Boekhurst)
Naitanui, Leuenberger, (M Cox)
Deledio, Roughead, Swan, Wingard, Bellchambers, Clark (Hogan, P Wright)

lots of risks at the moment in the defence with all of Ibbotson, Waters, WX… but if they all pay off it's a ready made defence almost.

I wonder if Cockatoo and Heeney will get solid enough game time to be M7 and M8?

Well Version 1.02 already. Surprising that most teams are willing to pay $100,000 extra for Ablett when you could get someone like Fyfe instead. Probably a few surprising players in this team but it's only a draft.
$27,900 in the bank
Def-H.Shaw, Hodge, Walker, Newnes, Rampe, Waters (Goddard, Dick)
Mid-Fyfe, Beams, JPK, Dangerfield, Rich, Petracca, Cockatoo, Freeman (Heeney, Boekhorst, Lambert)
Ruck-Leuenberger, Bellchambers (Durdin)
Fwd-Deledio, Ryder, Bennell, Ziebell, Salem, Clark (Steele, Laverde)

I'd have Ablett over Fyfe any day of the week as Fyfe is very likely to get suspended due to the way he plays. In 5 seasons he has only ever played 21 games once. And in past 2 seasons he has played 18 and 19 due to suspensions. Great player but too risky for that reason alone.

fyfe is 77k cheaper, yet averages 14.4 less points per round x 23 rounds = 331.2 more points for the season…. plus captain points and supercoach consistency gaz is the king,, u want the king!!! get ya fyfe as captain all you want buddy, plus fyfe is not as calm under pressure or with tags and can have poor effieciency and just boots it forward to noone.. the boys down at champion data dont like that sorta play..

Dizzy Stuff v1.00

DEF: S Burgoyne, L Hodge, M Hibberd, S Mayes, B Whitecross, A Browne (H Goddard, D McKenzie)
MID: G Ablett, S Pendlebury, N Fyfe, JP Kennedy, O Wines, T Mitchell, N Van Berlo, N Freeman (B Boekhorst, A Vandenberg, T Dumont)
RUC: N Naitanui, T Bellchambers (M Cox)
FWD: B Deledio, H Bennell, D Swan, C Salem, M Clark, R Knight (J Steele, C Daniel)

I've avoided some of the obvious rookie-listed players at this early stage – Once it appears likely that they will play early in the season, rookies like Lambert and Krakouer can easily be swapped in for less money. Likewise Heeney – Would be an instant pick if he'd been "drafted" to just about any other club, he may not come into the side until the R1 team sheets are released.

Browne and Knight are very speculative picks – By the time the season is nearing its start, if these two haven't yet given any indication that they will perform / play at all, another of this year's talented young players will have put their hand up. At the risk of mixing metaphors (and possibly creating an unpleasant mental image), I have cast my rookie-net wide, now just waiting for the cream to rise.

Would prefer to have Bellchambers forward, but still trying to balance the budget in a way that still gets me a decent R2.

…Forgot to say – Still over $100K in the bank with this lineup. This is a team in flux, as all are at this stage.

Mike C

Appreciate feedback from the Supercoach 'Earth Gods', does this team have the right balance…

Luke Hodge [MID], Shannon Hurn, Jack Newnes [MID], Beau Waters, Billie Smedts, Darcy Moore [FWD], Jake Kolodjashnij,
Alex Johnson

Gary Ablett, Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Josh P. Kennedy, Jobe Watson, Jack Trengove, Anthony Morabito, Blaine Boekhorst,
Cam Ellis-Yolmen, Matthew Dick [DEF], Jack Steele [FWD]

Matthew Kreuzer, Matthew Leuenberger, Mason Cox [FWD]

Brett Deledio [MID], Harley Bennell [MID], Dane Swan [MID], Tom Mitchell [MID], Tom Bellchambers [RUC], Mitch Clark, Patrick Karnezis, Hugh Goddard [FWD]

Thinking was: ruck cover via Belch; swing positions add flexibility; Mitchell could burn up the stats if he gets back in to Swans starting team; surely Smedts and Karnezis come in to the reckoning with the losses from their squads? And a few returns from injury, most notable risk is Jack Trengove, still a great player if they can just get him fit?

Nice team, probably be better going H.Goddard as a defender as there is a lack of rookie defenders. If you think Trengrove is a risk maybe look at D.Rich.

My supercoach team on my second try.
Defence: Malceski, Hibberd, Simpson, Sharanberg, Waters, Moore / Goddard, Fuller
Midfield:Ablett, Heppel, Rockliff, Cocatoo, Boekhurst, Petracca, Rich / Laverde, Heeney, Smith
Ruck: Ryder, Kreuzer / Lobb
Forward: Franklin, Goddard, Zorko, Swan, Mccartin, Clark./ Lamb, Hogan

Feedback would be appreciated πŸ™‚

Alert. I was reading through the other teams and I decided to trade ablett for selwood and mccartin for bellchambers.

You have one short in your starting midfield Rick.

I had Scharenberg in my initial draft, then was informed on here that he won't play round one due to ACL injury.

My team second try.

DEF: Malceski, H.Shaw, Ibbotson, Waters, Maynard, H.Goddard (Lever, Kolodjashnij)
MID: Ablett, Fyfe, Wines, D.Shiel/B.Crouch, Steven, Rich, NVB, Cockatoo, Heeney, (J.Garlett, J.Anderson/C.Ellis)
RUCK: Goldstein, Leuy, (Bellchambers)
FOR: Lids, Buddy, Swan, B.Martin, Clark, Petracca, (Steele, Lambert)

Feedback would be much appreciated

I wouldnt put so much power into the ruck bench. Put someone cheap and flexible like Peter wright or Mason cox into the bench and bellchambers into the forward line πŸ™‚

I'm wary of Jack Steven. No Lenny, and Joey Montagna isn't the player he used to be. First tag could go to Jack every week.

Cheers. I was thinking that too

Replaced Bellchambers with Cox and then upgraded Martin to Gray

due to byes you might like to lose Cox and put in t read geelong. has dpp and bye in rd 13

Defence: Malceski, Simpson,Burgoyne, Sharanberg,Moore,Waters / Goddard, Fuller
Midfield: Selwood, Fyfe, Heppel, Treloar,Boekhurst,Cocatoo,Petracca,Rich/ Laverde, Heeny smith
Ruck: Ryder, Kreuzer/ Cox
Forward: Franklin, Goddard, Zorko, Swan, Bellchambers, Mccartin/ Lamb, Hogan

Tactics:Without paddy rider at essendon Bellchambers should get alot more oppurunities to excel. I also put cox on the ruck bench to add flexibility with bellchambers during the bye rounds. I dont have anyone over 700k, why would you pick a rockliff or an ablett when you can pick Selwood and Fyfe? Barely any difference. And because I didnt bye anyone over 700k I was able to purchase the 3 top defenders. Since defence is going to be slim, I decided to put as much firepower to try to 'overtake' opposition in the defence. Im a little bit skeptical on sharanberg and whether he will play starting from round 1, but I got bench coverage just in case. I would really appreciate some tips from you guys πŸ™‚

Seems like a good team. I agree with what you say with Ablett/Rockliff, I haven't gotten any of them either. Forward line looks a bit iffy with a few key forwards who can be inconsistent. Maybe get Clark instead of McCartin as he is a proven scorer, averaged around the 80 mark at Brisbane. Zorko is a bit inconsistent, maybe look at Bennell. Scharenberg done his ACL, not sure on return date. Midfield looks locked and loaded, looks great. Can't really be too harsh as we haven't seem the players in play yet.

Thanks, I replaced mccartin with clark and with the left over money I upgraded zorko to gray

well as consistent and high scoring as selwood and fyfe are, ablett and rockliff are on a whole new level scoring wise, the numbers they put up on a week to week basis is astonishing, would be a miss to not pick up at least one of them

Def; Smith, Birchall, Walker, Waters, McGuinness, McKenzie (DVR, HGoddard)
Mids; Gaz, Pendles, Selwood, Ward, Freeman, Anderson, Heeney, Boekhorst, Freeman (Laverde, Dumont, Steele)
Rucks; NicNat, Goldy (Nankervis)
Fwds; Lids, BGoddard, Lance, Dusty, Swan, Clark (Hogan, Daniel)

14.5k left over.

Thought about switching Ward with Gray and essentially having full premo fwds at round 1 (although Gray would be in the guts).
Think stacking the FWD line will be the way to go, with plenty of good defenders to become available throughout the year (Simpson, Shaw, Hibberd bound to have a stinker at some stage) just gonna have to accept 90+ as the new defender premo.

You've got 9 in the mid bruz. Freeman there twice.

Interesting 4-0-4 mid structure. Hopefully the rooks reveal themselves over the NAB.

Oh jeez, that's a bit of a balls up, thanks for pointing that out for me mate!

Not sold on any of the mid pricers in the mids, much rather start with 4 who I think will be top 8 scorers and there will be plenty of mid rookies to choose from come round one.

B) Simpson, Hibberd, frawley,
Still filling the back 3
(Goddard, scharenberg)

M) gaj, pendles, jselwood, d.beams,

R) maric, kreuzer

F) buddy, lids, Goddard,

(Krakeour, boekhorst)

Really surprised how many people are going with Scharenberg… What are the odds that he's actually going to be fit?

Im also a bit skeptical on sharenberg, but I have bench coverage of fuller and goddard if he dosnt play. Plus dont forget, he was a top 10 pick last year.

But he did do his knee at the end of last year so most likely wont play until finals

I had him in initial draft, as was unaware of the ACL until the community informed me.

I think it's more of a thing, some may be uninformed.

23K in the bank my main area of concern is the defenders. Also thinking about Scott Lycett in my fwds for a swing into rucks.

Your defence is looking preety good. Your midfield is preety good. Youve chosen good ruck selections and your fowards are good. Although I wouldnt expect to much out of Kristian jaksh. He could prove costly

First draft, feedback please!

(Brown, H Goddard)

(Cockatoo, Heeney, Laverde)

(C.Daniel, lambert)

Waters also in deffence*

hey guys sarah here!
just wondering what is happening with the new ruck rule apparently if a ruckman stuffs up a hitout he loses points any truth in this?

Hi Sarah,
Yes it's true . Hit outs to advantage get positive points , Intercepts are penalised . It is now possible to generate Negative scores with Ruc's….

cheers dools who do you reckon will be most effected from this?

Im thinking for this season that i will try for rucks that dont rely too heavily on taps. Ryder, Kreuzer, nic nat……

Hi Sarah
That is the million dollar question, I'm still looking in to Ruc efficiency but I have a feeling Big Sauce is outa the equation now.
You need to look at Rucs who get involved in General Play to that end I'd be looking at game breakers ie Nic Nat and a fit Kruzer who will not rely solely on tap duties…Ryder certainly fits but ASADA have not finished with him so I'm staying clear
"To the fridge"

Seaford Scouse

Sauce #1 in HO 2 ADV in 2014 @ 33%

G'day SS,
33% for 1 point that's 67% that is ineffectual this season as he will lose points at least 33% of the time of the points gained coming from hit outs (I'm being a wee bit mean on that stat) he is at least 33% of the time losing the hit outs = lost no points as he has taken points.
But 33.3% (per centage left over) nullifies points taken for his hit outs as they where not to advantage.
This season he will be penalised for a hit out to dis-advantage. He loses points, hence his SC Ruc role must be studied and understood. His last season should not be a conclusion to SC points this year. This is why I suggest and said you need a Ruc who does not play in the Ruc .
Clangers and all it is worth more to leave him out!
"To the fridge!!"

Stefan Martin, a mid fielding ruck, he'll be great as he gets most of his supercoach points by racking up disposals game in and game out

Thoughts on Jed Anderson (141,400)?

He's my M10 until i hear otherwise.

Hawthorn rate him highly. As a hawks fan, i'm crossing everything to see him in action in 2015.

Thanks guys just as I thought was suprised to see that he was not in more teams

hi guys this is what it says on the Collingwood injury list about Matthew Scharenberg (knee)
“Matt came back from the off-season in fantastic condition, we couldn’t have expected more from a guy coming into his second year at the club. The way he presented himself was fabulous. We’re not going to rush him."
so he might be in line for round 1 and i posted this because their have been a lot of comments about him on people's teams so here's some help with the matter
