VonCrow_smallHowdy folks, season over – but here’s something that might interest you

If you’ve been following the Supercoach Scouting report this season you will have noticed that I’ve been keeping a running tally of the top 10 scoring Supercoach players each round. Each week I’ve assigned each of these guys points based on their weekly Supercoach score ranking.

This proved to be a handy resource for people seeking out the best Supercoach captain selection each week during the season. But I got to thinking – it’ll be interesting to see if there are parallels between the final tally, and how many Brownlow votes these guys end up notching up.

The whole idea behind the Supercoach scoring system is to award players points based on their impact on the game.. so I’m looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

In any case, click the link below for a PDF with some analysis on some of the top big scoring Supercoach performers of 2014:

No sleeping on the job for you Baron. Will be interesting to see how that pans out. Certainly some relevance. Great read as always BVC. If the count finishes Abblett win Rocky 2nd & Selwood 3rd you could be on the TAB's hit list. Look forward to throwing a few jars down with ya again soon.

Rucks would get a lot more votes than they do if you listened to SC. Lobbe 174 points for 4 effective disposals v Gold Coast! Interested to see how many votes he gets from the umps!

So it seems the answer is pretty much, no Supercoach can't predict the Brownlow!
