FLESH FOR FANTASY FINALS WK 1
G’day community,
Well, it’s here.
Finals time. What we’ve been preparing for. It’s what we play this beautiful game for. A win can lift you into the upper echelons of society. You’ll walk taller than the common folk around you. What happens here on in will define how you live your life.
A loss and you’re kicking empty cans around all summer thinking what could have been, why I traded him in, how did he beat me?
As mentioned in previous weeks, every decision you make here on in, there’s no turning back. Make the right call, and you’re on the road to glory. Make the wrong call, and it’s going to be a long summer.
Let me help you make the right call.
Here is this week’s Flesh, with a video to get you pumped up!
“GET HIM IN”
JOBE WATSON (ESS) MID – $420,600 DT/$502,200 SC – Next 4 Games: WCE (H), NM (H), CARL (A), RICH (H),– Recent Scores: 79, 130, 127, 24, 115
Pumping out 115 on return from injury, in driving rain, against a relentless Collingwood outfit s enough for me to be convinced about Jobe Watson. He’s a proven points scorer who will score big regardless of the opponent. 31 touches, 3 tackles (with a dodgy shoulder) and 6 marks in first game back from injury shows not just how good his is, but how important he is to Essendon.
Many will argue the case that the ASADA circus has finally hit Essendon and they’re cooked. That’s all well and good for the players, but Watson is fresh coming off a 3-week break. If you’re looking for an upgrade to Tom Mitchell, and have cash to turn, Jobe Watson is the ideal trade in option this week.
AARON SANDILANDS (FRE) RUCK – $381,000 DT/$488,700 SC – Next 4 Games: GWS (H), MELB (A), PORT (H), STK (A)– Recent Scores: 31, 74, 84, 88
It’s the biggest (no pun intended) punt you’ll make all year. Do you risk trading in the towering giant to help win you a SuperCoach premiership/overall ranking? Many will say no, and it’s a valid call given the injury history he has. However, he is a proven point scorer as well, and we only need his body to hold up for 4 more weeks.
In his return 2 games from a lengthy lay off, Sandiman has scored 84 and 88. If you break down his scores, you can see there’s potential for him to score higher as the weeks go on. He’s guaranteed to amass high number of HOs, but what’s more interesting are his disposals. He’s averaged 4 kicks in his last 2 games, yet still managed to weed out an 84 and 88. Give Freo’s run home, he’ll continue to monster the remaining ruckman, and is a SuperCoach smoky heading deep into finals
SAM MITCHELL (HAW) MID – $436,100 DT/$469,500 SC – Next 4 Games: STK (A), COLL (H), NM (A), SYD (A)– Recent Scores: 118, 125, 51, 96, 125
For those unable to afford Jobe Watson, another upgrade option is Sam Mitchell. The Hawthorn champion has gone under the radar, which is surprising given his recent form. Take out that 51, and you have a 116 average over last 5 weeks.
Trading in Sam Mitchell should be a tactical one to help win you your first final. He’s got St Kilda this week, who has packed it up for this season, so there’s potential for him to score big. Then, for those who win straight through to the preliminary final, he’ll face up against North Melbourne – a side he scored 137 on earlier this year. Again, like Jobe, a good trade in option for Tom Mitchell if he’s your M8.
PEARCE HANLEY (BRIS) DEF – $421,500 DT/$480,200 SC – Next 4 Games: RICH (A), GWS (H), WBD (H), GEE (A)– Recent Scores: 86, 117, 105, 113, 108
After a mid-season slump of some sorts, a couple of easy games has seen Pearce return to form and become a must have. He’s found more of the ball in recent times, gathering 27 touches in his last 2 weeks. Before you say, it was only against St Kilda and Melbourne, that’s significant because he’ll play against GWS and Western Bulldogs in the SF and PF, so you want someone who will score big against weaker opposition.
If you don’t have him yet, and keen to upgrade Gibbs/Duffield, Hanley is your man and probably the safest defensive option in a year where the defenders have failed us.
“GET HIM OUT”
At this time of year, unless you have trades to burn, you’re almost forced to go into finals with the premiums you have. Using up potentially 2 trades to dump a JPK or a Gibbs isn’t worth it if some sides decide to rest key players. However, there’s one player that has to go this week…
TOM MITCHELL (SYD) MID – $399,100 DT/$417,100 SC – Next 4 Games: COLL (H), STK (H), GEE (A), HAW (H)– Recent Scores: 106, 113, 80, 106, 48
He’s been a revelation this season, coming in and pumping out premium scores at a time where the rookies were beginning to dry up. However, it’s time to say goodbye to Tom. There were warning bells when he scored 80 against the Eagles, and the 106 delayed the inevitable.
The fact the Dogs sent a tagger to Tom just shows how far he has come in his short career. Not only am I expecting the trend to continue, I also expect a Vlastuin-type demise and a drying up of high scores. It’s the perfect time, right on finals, to send him to Jobe Watson or Sam Mitchell as mentioned above. If you’ve got Tom as bench cover, keep if he plays, but if he gets dropped, cash in that $$$ and upgrade Gibbs or any other underperforming players.

“PUB TALK”
Unfortunately, the inner sanctum of the pub has gone into lockdown in preparation for week 1 of the finals. No pub talk this week, but next week will be back in operation.
Remember community; send your questions to @Mr_Crimmins or the other esteemed members of the community. Good luck this weekend ladies and gentlemen. Do your community proud.
Mr Crimmins.
Follow the great Mr Crimmins on Twitter
**ALSO, A SPECIAL GOOD LUCK TO MICK THE MAD IRISHMAN, WHO’S CURRENTLY DEEP IN CONTENTION FOR THE OVERALL PRIZE AT #10. GO SON**
No Buddy or Kreuzer this week.
Great read mate!!!
Ryan Griffin and Michael Barlow – get them in.
Easy run home in the finals.
Out – Tom Mitchell & Matt Priddis
In – Ryan Griffin & Nate "Da Knife" Fyfe
What to do with staker if hes on my field in defence?
3 trades left with 14k in the bank
Finished top 2 in all of my leagues
Staker has to go – I see him playing mainly forward with Brown out and he has a tough run home.
who for? already got gibbs, goddard, thompson, mckenzie, shaw
Can you swing Staker into forward line and upgrade there? Or downgrade from Staker in defence and upgrade another player to a premium.
i cant move him to forward line, the rest of my team is premiums too
Every position? Surely you can upgrade somewhere?
I am trading him to Dixon, GC plays Melbourne this week.
Hi Jimmy……
IMO…..
OUT: Staker
IN: Dixon or H Scotland…….both of them are in really good form recently…..I personally would go to Dixon….GCS have an easy run home next to Freo IMO……if you are thinking Dixon is injury prone….anybody can get injured…..its all LUCK IMO…..
Just to generate some cash for your final upgarde in any position I would also be trading Ruck Bench rookies like T Nicholls to B Grundy……and do final upgrade next week or week later…..
Good luck in the finals mate….
Cheers,
Raj……
How about Matthew Pavlich as a POD?
Only owned in 2.37% of teams. Plays Greater Western Sydney this week – a team he has dominated against int he past.
Freo's has an easy run home in SC finals: (GWS, Melbourne, Port Adelaide, St Kilda). I think just like Sandi, Pav is worth a punt.
Quality POD mate, a great inclusion, better option than Sandi for mine
Stop telling everyone!
Hey Mr Crimmins,
Have 5 trades this week and 305,000 in the bank what should I do? Currently 1st in my league.
1. Keep Kreuzer and score a zero or trade him? Traded him in last week. No coverage for him.
2. Upgrade Staker to Dustin Martin
3. Upgrade Duffield to Scott D Thompson.
Doing 2 trades this week.
Appreciate your thoughts.
I would trade Kreuzer mate. That's exactly what trades in the finals are for. Minson or Goldy would be the ones to look at.
And yes I like the idea of upgrading Staker to Dusty too especially if it only costs you one trade. I would hold on to Duffman even though he's been pretty disappointing.
This will then leave you with 3 trades for the remaining 3 weeks which is a pretty good position to be in. Many coaches already have less than that going into the first week of the finals.
Kreuzer is only out for one week according to Carlton website, minor calf strain expected to play next week it says. More like there resting him me thinks.
You are probably right Paul. Ordinarily I would keep Kreuzer if this happened mid season or if James had adequate bench cover or next to no trades left. But this is the Supercoach finals and one donut may be the difference between elimination or playing in week 2 or making a prelim.
There's no guarantee Kreuzer will be back next week and you can't rollover spare trades into next year so you don't want to get knocked out of your leagues with a bunch of trades left in your back pocket.
So all circumstances considered I would make the trade myself especially with 5 trades left. If you only had 1 or 2 trades it would be a much tougher call. Mr Crimmins may disagree though but this is my $0.02 fwiw.
Agree with SCaddict. Season wouldn't trade Kreuze. But it's win or die time. If you have trades left, make the trade to give you better chances. Who does your opponent have? Finals mean looking to see what you're up against. May get away without trading. They may have a Goldy/Minson combo that you'll have to match or minimize. You don't want a Blicavs in there against that. Good luck.
Minor calf strain says Carlton, the same Carlton that said Gibbs had a minor calf strain and missed 5 weeks.
Kreuzer is injured mate and will miss more than one. Carlton needed to win every game and 'resting' Kreuzer is a bit of a ridiculous thought- especially against Minson. I wouldn't be surprised if the big man has played his last game for the year. Blues won't make finals and Malthouse needs to decide whether Warnock is worth keeping or getting rid of.
Of course this is just opinion- but there is no logic to resting Kreuz- so be wary that he may miss the rest of the year.
Check if your opposition has a zero, many people are in this position.
Who is you other non playing ruck man? Could you trade them? How confident are you are winning and will you risk it this week for a better team next week and the next? Kreuzer has been in ripping form and it would be a shame to trade him.
I'd upgrade staker to Martin or perhaps if you have a Rockcliff,Harvey,or Johnson in your mid to a Fyfe, or Watson.
Only have Currie and McBean as backup, can bring Cox up into the ruck but backup in the forward line is Kennedy and Danhier so either way I'd score a zero. My only loss during the season was to the opponent I'm playing so I do need everyone playing. His only non-scoring player this week was going to be Buddy Franklin but he has Jeremy Howe on the bench. I'm thinking Kreuzer to Minson as he has a better run home than Goldy.
Thoughts?
If you really want to keep Kreuzer, you could trade out one of your rookies for Grimley. Has been named on bench this week. It will make you a little cash for upgrading, but his score may not be much better than a donut.
Get rid of Kreuzer, bring in Goldy or Minson. Also upgrade Staker to Martin.
Kreuzer to Minson, Staker to D Mart.
Make sure you have emergency cover for both Priddis & Ibbotson – would not be surprised if they are late outs.
Agreed – will most likey trade Priddis to Fyfe – pending teams also have Ibbo on bench with Staker coving
Is michael walters a good selection?
Sam Grimley? JS Is not good but I only need him to (hopefully) cover Kreuze for 1 week……
Thoughts
JPK~Barlow
Blicavs~Grundy/Grimley
I'll have 0 trades left if I do this trade!;(
Who would you bring in out of these- Jack, Dangerfield, Beams, Griffen, selwood, steven and o'keefe for a final midfield upgrade.
Griffen for sure. Surprisingly not many STILL don't have him. And he's been golden for going ton. 122 average…can't miss on that.
Completely agree
Agree Throttle. Reckon he has been my best trade in all season.
Thanks I'll get griffen then
Griffen only just ahead of Dangerfield (the price difference sways me).
Griffen – If u can make it too the Granny then he might win it for you. Plays deez round 23
Mr Crimmo and Jock, it's a must win game for me with no second chance.
Basically I have Nicholls as R2 who is not playing and no back up as Blicavs not names, I only have 1 trade left and literally $1000 in the bank. This means I can only straight swap Nicholls out – but who for? This is the list, really appreciate some strategic advice hear with previous history and the weekend opposition.
Pederson, Bellchambers, Giles, Jacobs, Vardy, Pyke.
out of those I would probably get Bellchambers or Vardy as I see much upside in them over players like Jacobs and Giles who look like averaging the same throughout the rest of the season
Can you swap fwd to ruck (cox, roughy) and trade in a fwd instead of one of those guys. Couple of blokes in that price range that may score better than the ruck options you have listed. Bock looked OK in his first game back last week. 71pts from about 3/4 of a game then was subbed off. Should get better as his fitness improves
Hey guys, which option looks better for this week?
Option A:
Nicholls – Grundy
Mitchell – Watson
Option B:
Goodes – Dixon
Staker – Deledio (via Rockliff)
2 trades left and 11k in kitty.
Cheers guys
Playing qualifying finals in all of the leagues I made top 8 in, so I think the time to make the moves is now I reckon.
Option A. As Mr. C pointed out, Watson, even with coming back from injury and playing in the rain, went ton against the Pies. Grundy is a bit of a risk but is playing this weekend so it's a good sign. You may only want to make the Mitchell trade. Who is your other rucks?
Option A mate, Jolly struggling to get up and Watson continues to thrive under pressure
Hi Luke…..
Why dont you try….the below option…..
OUT: Goodes & Staker
IN: H Scotland & Jobe Watson……or even Pavlich……..
Cheers,
Raj…..
Would steer clear of Lids. Has burnt me badly since bringing him in a couple of months ago. Doesn't like the tag.
Lids has given me first-degree burns too. Avoid.
Brains fried, can someone try and explain the emergency loophole and how best to use it, would be much appreciated
The idea is to name a player in an early game as your vice-captain and the "C" on someone who plays later in the weekend. If your VC scores poorly, leave your "C" on a star and take double his score. However, if your VC pumps out a huge score, simply shift your "C" to a non-scoring player (eg Ablett) and you'll get double your vice-captain's score when final scores are tallied on Sunday night.
thx throttlefinger as i said brain is fried I meant to ask about the rookie emergency loophole sorry
Shit man, I don't even know about that…maybe my brain is frying too.
Raff, you need a lot of things to fall into place for it to work. First you need just 1 non-playing player on that line. Start him on the ground with the 'E' on the bench player who is playing first. If the emergency player scores high, you leave it like that and get his score (but remember if there are any late withdrawals you will have no emergency cover left). If the emergency scores low, you move the non-playing player onto the bench and get the other player's score.
Griffen, Stevie J or Cotchin for Captain's loophole?
Griff dog.
Agree. Griff is on fire. Guaranteed 120+.
See who your opponent is looping. Chances are they'll have Gazza as cap. The loop is for risks so recommend seeing who they are looping so you don't lap scores. The loop could be a saving POD. Had 2 wins earned solely on my loop choice.
Goldstein, Minson or Sandilands?
Goldy. Been playing consistently well, getting most of the hit outs and racking up solid scores.
Is it worth taking Priddis out? Or Tom Mitchell and put Priddis on my bench. If I did, who would you get out of Kieran Jack, Mitchell and Barlow?
Also, want to trade Staker out in my FWD. Martin, Walker or Boomer?
OUT: Priddis & Staker
IN: Jack & Dusty……IMO
Cheers,
Raj…..
Unfortunately only have 1 trade left who should I upgrade: Staker, Franklin or Nicholls? NEED HELP!!!!!!!!
Tough one. I would keep Staker as he is playing. I would try to bring in a premium fwd if possible. Depends on your cash as to who you trade out.
Hey guys, have a massive decision to make. This week is a must win for me, for I'm in 2 elimination finals. I need to get rid of Staker and Franklin, and which one trade left, who should I get rid of? I have 3k in the bank, and Lee is my forward bench cover while Docherty is my defence cover (Staker is DEF for me)
Thanks guys
franklin. staker is playing.
Agree. Lee did play well last week, but that may be a fluke. Staker should bounce back. Has been really consistent till the last couple.
Punt Buddy, Docherty a better scorer than Lee, Staker at least has decent run home
Lately Lee seems to be scoring okay, but isn't consistent in output high scores while Docherty consistently outputs average scores, also with Brown out, will Staker be predominantly playing in the forward line?
has anyone esle heard mundy will be a late out for fremantle.
has a sore ankle – was 50/50 during the week according to Ross the Boss, I reckon he is a fair chance to be rested for this week.
U might need to save a trade for Sunday and if he is a late withdraw you can trade him into Fyfe, Barlow or Pav
Have 2 trades left, is it worth trading Priddis to Selwood or K.Jack?
If so, which one do I get?
I'd go sellwood has more reliability for mine and should thrive the catters fighting for a home final
Selwood just David. Can go wrong with either.
Selwood – he loves playing at skilled, should pull some big scores.
I have had Jack all season, his a gun and probably my best pick however with his last 2 scores of 140+ he will most likely pull out a low 100 this week.
Who to get in for Franklin, Jarryd Roughead or Aaron Sandilands?
Great Southern Sandiland for me mate, easy run home, he'll dominate
Thanks mate.
Sandi by a country mile. Can score with the best Premo mid's when on
Whos a good ruck whos around 350k ish atm? For dreamteam
Who should i play? Tom Mitchell or Brad Crouch?
Titch
Was there a reason for Mitchell's bad score last week? Or has his form ran out
Got tagged by Liam Picken, speaks volumes to how good he's been playing, get the feeling he won't get the same attention from Pies, expecting 100+
Agree Collingwood don't even tag ablett!!!!
Say Crouch. He's play has been better each round. Went ton the last two rounds. Can't see Roos slowing him down. Mitchell…can't see him doing much against the Pies.
Yeah definitely 50/50. Crouch been really good lately, but Mitchell could post big score if Pies don't tag him.
Mini dilemma here, got 2 rucks and 1 spot…
Who should i play out of Grundy and Grimely.
Considering they are both averaging the same…
grundy
IMO……Grimley has a good chance of scoring well against St Kilda……whereas Grundy playing against Swans he wont be scoring too much…….
Cheers,
Raj…….
Currently have kreuzer, with sam rowe as cover on field. I have the double chance also. With 3 trades and 300k left, do I hold Kreuzer OR trade him for a pavlich or goldstein?
And play duff man or clisby??
Would hold if you need the trades somewhere else, but is a risk with Rowe. Potential for OK score or terrible score.
Good idea to play Viney over Tom Mitchell for better consistency?
Would like some thumbs up or thumbs down..
r u crazy viney for sure
Shouldn't be playing either of them at this stage.
Both should only be cover at this time of the year. Mitchell for mine.
Should I bring in Mayne (POD and easy run home), Maric (Proven ability and will want to bring it home for the tigers) or really risk it and bring in Cyril??
Mayne would be the best option
I'm actually going to say Maric. Richmond are looking like a top 4 side, and Ivan is a vital part of that. My guess is he'll come home strong.
All the best to supercoaches for the finals !!
Any suggestions on trade advice for the up coming weeks , finished 2nd in my league , though thinking will need some luck in the run home , was too active trading
Side is
Backs – gibbs, Goddard , h shaw, enright ,dufffield , ibbo (staker, Wilson )
Mids – ablett, Pendles, swan , Steve j , fyfe , priddis , j Kennedy , tmitch (crouch, Martin)
Rucks – maric , leuy (currie, Grundy)
Fwds – bartel , cox , walker , buddy, Kennedy, rocky (mcaff and lee)
3 trades $250k in the bank
Few holes .. Was banking on freo with an easy run home with ibbo and dufffield .. Should I pick up Hanley or hArry Taylor with a few games at skilled
Or
Let the backs roll haven’t been that productive
Upgrade priddis (might be a late withdrawal I’m thinking) and tmitch to 2 a grades
Or 1 mid (Barlow/griffin) and buddy to Martin
Decisions ?? :/
Thanks for the input lads , good luck
IMO……1 mid……Griffen……and Buddy to Dusty sounds like two good trades mate…..
Cheers,
Raj…
Maybe Macaffer to 1 of the Hendersons. He can cover Buddy for this week then swing back to give you an option over Duffman or Ibbo after that.
I would much rather have Staker on the ground than Mac or Duff the burnman. Could swing staker forward and trade mac to Hanley (Duff on the bench). Would only leave you about 50k for an upgrade though.
Either way, I would sub Staker for Duff, just my opinion though
I just traded Staker for the Duffman as need the POD.
Am I crazy?
YES!!!!
Could be a great move. Playing GWS. Risks no rewards. Be surprised if Staker did better than the Duffman.
Seek medical attention immediately Rocksta 🙂
Terminally. Duff is burning me. Don't do it.
I've got them both and I am trying to work out which to use as D6, leaning towards Duffman. I don't think that I would trade Staker to Duffman though
Duffman & Ibbo have been missing McPharlin. If it was me i would steer clear of Duffman
With Nicholls not back this week I need to sort out my R2. Given Freo's run home I'm looking at Pavlich via Cox DPP, but I'll need to double trade to make it happen.
Some options for second trade are Staker to Grundy as R2 (leaving Cox FWD) or maybe Lewis Johnston as F6. Both Grundy/Johnston would only play this week.
I have 3 trades left before trading this week, (I have Franklin so if I don't trade it would mean plying BOTH Stake & /Macaffer)
Another option is Sandilands into Ruck and leave Cox FWD.
Thoughts?
Sandilands and move Cox forward. Big Sandi Balls is going to be the X Factor. Have bought him in this week myself
can someone try and explain the emergency rookie loophole thingy and how best to use it, would be much appreciated
see above
Have Buddy, Staker on ground + Macaffer as emerg. Do I upgrade Staker and hope Macaffer does ok, or upgrade Franklin and have Staker play instead of Macaffer?
If it was me i would upgrade Spuddy. Macaffer is playing a tagging role so i can't see him smacking anything decent.
Have 2 trades, is it worth using one to upgrade Staker to Pav? Won't be able to afford him next week
Great move David. Big Pav will take the game by the scruff of the neck after his forced lay off. Freo's easy finals run no chance of been rested. Leaves you 1 trade in the sky rocket for emergencies. Finals time you have to think out side the square and take a few risk's anyway.
griffen or watson? got the cash for both and 2 trades left. Griffen has an ideal finals run, but at 80k more restricts the quality of my last trade. thoughts?
You're God, you don't need advice
Watson will drop another 40k this week if you can hold of on him. I would normally say Griffin ( Points Pig) but that extra cash will come in handy.
HELP!
DEF – Goddard, Enright, Heppell, Shaw, Gibbs, Duffield (Clisby, Thurlow)
MID – Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Selwood, Barlow, JPK, Cotchin, Priddis (Mitchell, Saunders)
RUC – Minson, Nicholls (Osborn, McBean)
FWD – Cox, Rockliff, Bartel, JJKennedy, Franklin, Johnson (Staker, B.Kennedy
1 trade left with 183k what should i do? Any thoughts or suggestions muchly appreciated
Nicholls out for grundy
Nicholls to Walker or Martin
or Nicholls out cox to ruc and get in wellingham
What's Grigg's (Adel) JS like for the rest of the year? Thinking of using him to make some cash. Anyone?
Jack, Fyfe or Watson? I'm leaning towards Fyfe. Or Watson. Actually I'm not sure. Fyfe has an easy run home but Watson looks fresh, while Jack is killing it. Please help!
Has anyone got any information about Pendlebury and Priddis? hearing that they might not play. Will cop a doughnut if they both don't play.
Heard the same very nervous indeed. Do you have any trades left Alex ?
Kieren Jack or Ryan griffin
Griffen
Crimmo ya Ol veteran, great advice on Big Sandi Man. It's finals time and time to think outside the square. Risk people say it's finals time and risk is the name of the game. NO BALLS NO GLORY !!. Good luck to everybody for the Finals
Have a couple of dilemmas. Any advice would be good. 4 trades left around 50k in the bank. Thinking of making 2 trades this week.
Have got Staker as M8 at the moment. Have also got Zorko as F8 and Mayes on the bench. Thinking of trading Mayes to Scotland, (swinging Staker fwd).
After that, so close to being able to do a number of things but 5 and 10k off. Want to get rid of Zorko, but don't quite have the cash to do anything significant. ie Sandi or Pav.
Other than that was thinking of turning Priddis into Sam Mitchell.
Any advice welcome. Team as it stands below.
Def: Goddard, Heppell, Shaw, Gibbs, McKenzie, Staker (Hutchins, Thurlow)
Mid: Ablett, Pendles, J.Selwood, Kennedy JP, Cotchin, Watson, Mundy, Priddis (T. Mitchell, Hrovat)
Rk: Goldstein, Cox (Rowe, McBean)
Fwd: Walker, Rockliff, Roughead, Kennedy JJ, Johnson S, Zorko (Mayes, Kennedy B)
Griffen should go big for those who don't want to go with Ablett as captain for whatever reason (Jordie McKenzie's inclusion?). Robbo, Carrazzo and Kreuzer out. Minson will dominate in ruck, giving first ball use to Ryan Griffen who won't be tagged by Carrazzo or Robinson.
Curnow has been Blues number 1 taggger so I would expect him to neutralise Griffin to some extent.
expecting Gibbs to go to Griffen
Whats the reasoning behind not putting Ablett as captain this week? Considering they are VSing Melboune
There is none. I'm picking him myself. He should destroy Melbourne. Only blip is the inclusion of McKenzie, who is a tagger, but that shouldn't make a difference. Just putting out a different captain choice or at least a good loophole option.
Help please. I have 1 trade left. I am full in the MIDs, but I need an extra FWD or DEF and I've made a call that out of those I don't already have, Charlie Dixon is ready to smash the teams ahead in the superb run home the Suns have. What I want to do is trade out TMitchell, send Ben Kennedy from FWD to MID, leaving room to switch Staker from my D6 to F7 and then allowing Dixon to come in as my D6.
When I trade Mitchell and move Kennedy into the MID, the system then won't let me sub Staker from Def to Fwd.
Has anyone had that problem and found a solution?
Unfortunately it can not be done. You can only make one substitution per trade.
sorry people but can someone try and explain the emergency rookie loophole thingy and how best to use it, I know the captains loophole but staker vs clisby…….could be the difference
Reply below Raff.
Can't be done if both reserves are playing, or if your non players team plays first.
I put an explanation to your earlier comment Raff
Brisbane is playing first, so you have Staker as your backline emergency, and you have Clisby on the ground. You'll also need a non-playing backman who plays after Brisbane, who you leave on your bench.
If you have all these elements, you see what score Staker gets. If its a good one, you put the non playing back on the field and Clisby on the bench.
If you don't want to take Staker's, ie. go with Clisby, you don't change anything. Because he remains on the ground you get his score.
Hope that makes sense.
Sorry, I meant to post this as a reply to Raff.
Cheers Zimmer much appreciated
G'day community!!
Just a simple request: In order of best to worst, who of the following will have the better scoring week this week?
Staker
Clisby
Tom Lee
Popular concensus will dictate who I will play this week, a win meaning I get the week off next week!
Cheers!!
Staker
Clisby
Lee
Cheers Shinboner!
My midfield before any trades this week is
Ablett, Selwood, pendles, jack, JPK, cotchin, danger, Priddis, t.Mitchell, crouch
Got 3 trades left and about $26,000 in the bank
I was thinking out Priddis and in fyfe but I also have buddy and have staker or Rowe as cover for him. I'm still thinking Priddis to fyfe or martin, bartel or Mitchell
Thoughts???
