Hey Jock,
I was hoping these would be back in 2013…great info. Thanks for all your ongoing hard work.

Cheers
Andrew

Kev

Any goss on Van Unen from the Dons mate?

tim

great job jock but where is joe daniher, van unen, goodes and hvorat
but anyway i love your stuff and cant wait till next rookie sheet

@MRB37

Goodes is still rookie listed, so he won't be playing unless he gets upgraded to the senior list. Might be a mid-season looker, but i'm not sure about him at the start of the year.

Kev

Wouldn't think Daniher will be a permanent fixture this year, he'll take a few years to develop.

@MRB37

That O'Meara, Viney, Crouch midfield trio looks like gold. Reckon all three of those kids are gonna turn into SuperCoach stars eventually.

RE: Tom Lee, I don't know a whole heap about the Sainters, but I thought there forward line was pretty full? Riewoldt, Milne, Koschitzke, Saad, Milera all playing up there, which one would make way?

dylan

milera

Kane

KozSHITzke

Leigh

Hold your horses with the Saints recommendations Jock. We are all still reeling from your Ledger bomb from last year. No room for Lee mate.

@PeterHiggo

Expensive call at $184,500 but another mid who will make an impact surely must be Jimmy Toumpas for Melbourne. Rated very highly for mine!
Also, just throwing one hell of a big call out there …. Brad Helbig at just $148,700!!! Crouching may fly kick me for revealing this but if he goes well in NAB surely he will get games ahead of a few others new to the system. He was vest and injury affected last year. I am keeping a very close eye on him, Jock.
Looking forward to the evolution of this and many of your other excellent cheat sheets this year.
Kind regards my friend,
Peter Higginbotham

chels

many thanks big fella, seems like you have been looking at my exercise book while I was looking at the blonde who just arrived at school!

Perhaps it is just paranoia and everybody else has 7 of these guys in their preliminary teams.

Loving The Cheat Sheet Guys!!

As A passionate west coast fan, i have always had big wraps for young koby stevens.
A gutsy lad that had the ability to just find the ball, personally A lock for me at $176k.

Secondly young indian currie! A hit out machine who has the ability to pick up his 15-20 touches, played for north adelaide (my team) in the SANFL this year and was rarely beaten in the ruck all year, another must have on ya bench at $109k

Lastly as a bit of a roughy at $240K I'm thinking about Jordan Russell. Lacked opportunities at carlton this year but has proven himself as a pretty handy half back flanker. Averaged 86 in 2010 & if he can break into the pies lineup past guys like marty clark & ben johnson i reckon he'll be a bargain for 2013, also has the ability to rack up them cheap kicks in the back line, which collingwood are known for.

What Do You Guys Think??

Oh yeah can sylvia or Ziebel have big years in 2013?? or to risky?

jimbotraralgon

i'm liking the look of stevenson and kerridge

Dylan Matthews

Stevenson is a handy player mate!!
He can take a good contested grab, but also create some run of the half back line,
Sorta like ya Grant Birchall Type player. Unlucky not to get a run with my beloved eagles in 2013, Will pick up touches & most importantly should be a walk up starter at Port. Especially now that Pearce, Chaplin & surgan have left, it creates some space in that back line for him to slot straight in. I reckon Could be looking at an average of around 70-75 as 6th defender as well as a cash cow to upgrade mid season!! I may be only 14 but hey mate trust me Stevenson is a handy pickup for SC 2013!! Nice work Tim I like ur thinking!!

Simon

Port are the closest thing to this years GWS, in that they have no less than six tasty looking Rookies on their list.

Youngsters Wines, Colqhoun, and Clurey are all likely to play early, add in Mature agers Stevenson & Mitchell plus 2nd yearer Pittard at $128k and you have a heap of cash cows just waiting to make you money.

The key here will be getting the right ones at the time of the year.

michael

hi love ur work, just letting use know Karmichael Hunt is listed as a Brisbane plaer cheers

Farm Dog

Jock. Very good chance Campbell Heath will be starting HB for Port round one. Yes has come off two knee recos but hasn’t missed a beat and is looking very fit. Considering Ports need for 2 half backs both Heath and Pittard could be good options.

jimbotraralgon

Farm Dog. good call.

I had Heath in version 1 of my side but heard nothing about he's progress. I just assumed that he was overtaken by the Stevenson, Colquhon, Pittard type players.

He's back on the radar for NAB monitoring.

Greg

A question of judgement..

Bryce Gibbs or Heath Shaw?

Greg

Oops. Just realized that we are talking rookie here.

Gibbs and Shaw are hardly rookies. Sorry guys"

jimbotraralgon

gibbs

jimbotraralgon

Guys, anyone heard where Sam Siggins is up to and is he fantasy relevant?

@MRB37

Not relevant at all I reckon. He's a KPD drafted to be a potential replacement for Truck when he retires. Still needs to get some meat on his bones before he can handle AFL level I reckon. Will have Thompson and Otten getting a crack ahead of him.

Kooweerupflyer

Jarrod Witts Ruck Collingwood. This boy will play more games than any other rookie ruck this year. He would have gone top 3 in the 2011 draft and was the standout ruckman at the nationals. Lucky the pies got him as a 15 yr old on a scholarship and have been grooming ever since. At 211 he is 2cm shorter than Sandilands and has grunt, this kids scary!

dools

Nice call mate..Are you a t the same place I was at?

jimbotraralgon

its going to be interesting round 1 when trying to decide which rookie to start round 1….Crouch Jaeger or Viney.

If you could only start with one on the gound, who would it be?
and then who would be the sub?

For me Jaegerbomb starts and viney gets the sub

Lee Smith

I know wea are talking rookies but have to ask!! Sandilands or Jacobs?? Jacobs more likely to play 22 games

You know so a great deal concerning this topic, generated me personally for my part believe it from a lot of different aspects. Their for instance both males and females usually are not intrigued until it truly is one thing to use Young lady coo! Your very own products great. Continuously deal with it down!
