    Benny · 31/05/2012 at 05:36

Haha gotta love it! My favourite is VOT Watson..

      luke · 31/05/2012 at 07:18

I was going to use him but went with Darley instead, thanks Jock! Any thoughts on Sexton?

Beau · 29/05/2012 at 22:26

Gday Jock!

Who do u reckon i should get rid of Tomlinson or Smedts?
and do you reckon its time to get rid of hargrave?

    Angusegg · 31/05/2012 at 03:44

Id love to know the same thing!

    Vince · 31/05/2012 at 06:05

I'd hold onto Tomlinson and Smedts due to being DPP and not having a bye in the same week, meaning you can swing them.

I know they have pretty low scores, but it will help you cover an otherwise potential donut or 2. GWS Bye in Rd 11, Geelong BYE in Rd 13.

ROUND 11: Adelaide, Brisbane Lions, GWS, North Melbourne, West Coast, Western Bulldogs

ROUND 12: Essendon, Collingwood, Fremantle, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney

ROUND 13: Gold Coast, Carlton, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide, Richmond, St Kilda

In regards to moving Hargeaves on, have a look at Jaensch from ADE. only $600 more and projected scores of 77, BYE, 94 and 85 with a current Break Even of only 66 and playing Freo this week. Scored 98 last week however, slightly lower average.

    Worth a look anyways..

      Dan · 31/05/2012 at 08:51

haha, same problem….. i WANT to trade one of them out! but who?

      HELP??!! 😀

        Vinnie · 31/05/2012 at 09:46

Probably Tomlinson then if you need the cash, Smedts will only net you about between $50K….

I think we're all stuck with Smegma until he ripens past $200K

Marc · 29/05/2012 at 22:27

Gonna have to save up some $ and to put Cloke and Priddis in my side next week.

    Dylan · 29/05/2012 at 22:59

Relax, the weagles have the bye next week, trade out someone who has a bye in r12 or 13 after next weekend

      Marc · 30/05/2012 at 10:20

      Aha, good lookin' out Dylan.

        Dylan · 30/05/2012 at 23:10

        Someone's gotta look after ya!

JoshTheMan · 29/05/2012 at 22:27

thoughts on Cloke?

keep or trade him out?

if trade… who for?

really confused :S

    Marc · 29/05/2012 at 22:36

Nah mate, I’d leave the million dollar man in your side. He’s been playing fairly average and was still getting scores in the 80’s, except for last week when he was testing out the invisible cloke. He’s a gun who’s misfiring right now, but he won’t be doing that all year. You trade him out now and you’ll be kicking yourself when he starts putting up the scores and you have to use another trade to bring him back. Plus there’s no deadset replacement for him, unless you want to spend $200,000 extra on Sidebum or Dangermouse or someone of that ilk. Waste of cash dude, that’s the type of dough you spend on upgrading a rookie to a premium, not on sideways trades.

He’ll be in my side next week, upgrade Milera to Cloke for a small amount of cash. It might be the bargin on the year.

BradNied · 30/05/2012 at 10:04

jock just wanted to say do you know about the trading loophole??

when you trade a player in sc, just say i traded a midfielder i can swap a defeder that can play midfield into the midfield then trade that midfielder i wanted to trade for a defender

and it only uses 1 trade

    Marc · 30/05/2012 at 10:23

It works well. I did a near whole field change once. Moved Fyfe from forward to mids for Dangerfield. Then by trading moved Deledio into my mids and traded Fyfe for Geary (Who spudded it up every week after).

      BradNied · 30/05/2012 at 10:32

      yeah its so good

i went to trade shiel, but then realised i could swap him with treloar so i did that then traded shiel for tommy walsh so killed 2 birds with 1 stone cos i needed a round 12 bye player aswell 🙂

i wish i had have bloody found it out earlier than now though!! i only have 9 trades left hahah 🙁

    G-Train · 30/05/2012 at 19:01

    Hey brad,

I'm not really following what Ur saying, any chance u or anyone else can explain that again mate?

      Mick · 30/05/2012 at 19:45

when you go to trade someone you can click on an 's'next to someone elses name to sub them into that spot.

      eg. trade out ablett.

you have pavlich in your fwd line

sub pav to mid (cos hes a mid/fwd) and then you can effectively trade ablett for a fwd

        G-Train · 30/05/2012 at 20:14

Ah ok, thanks Mick, can that only be done on the computer and not the app?

          Marc · 30/05/2012 at 20:28

Yea, iphone app doesn't let you do it, only on the PC.

          Matt · 30/05/2012 at 21:29

Cheers, I can move smedts to fwd now and have leave M. Johnson in def for the swing

        Benny · 31/05/2012 at 08:18

        Bloody legend Mick!

macca · 30/05/2012 at 10:05

    TheAnointedOne · 30/05/2012 at 10:29

    Heath Shaw for me.

    BradNied · 30/05/2012 at 10:30

    shaw, scotland or waters

Nateo · 30/05/2012 at 19:55

BradNied · 30/05/2012 at 20:42

doing the same thing 🙂

ChrisO · 31/05/2012 at 01:21

Jock, Love your work mate!..

What are your thoughts on young Sam Darley for a trade down option this week. Do you think he'll continue as a sub? Would you go Darley or Spurr..

Chris · 31/05/2012 at 04:14

Jock Mate. How does my team look big fella!

Defenders: Deledio, Goddard, Suckling, H. Shaw, Glass, Darley, Geary, Ellis, Smedts.

Midfielders: Stanton, J. Selwood, Swan, Pendlebury, Bartel, Ebert, Horsley and Old Macdonald

Rucks: Cox, Giles, Stephenson Redden

Forwards: Franklin, Tippett, Crameri, J. Rievolt, Hale, Porplyzia, Pfeiffer, Kennedy, Folau (AKA. SUPERCOACH SPUD)

Looking to get rid of Geary, Porplyzia, Pfeiffer ASAP.

Made one bad mistake for the season watching one of your clips with Geary and Marty Clarke. Should've defintatly gone Clarke!!!

    Benny · 31/05/2012 at 05:33

May I ask how many trades you are rolling with?

      Chris · 31/05/2012 at 10:22

11.. Not making really considering many more changes for the season. Use up maybe 5-7 for new players then the rest for injuries

        Mitch · 31/05/2012 at 20:28

Your team looks good you would average well I've got 11 trades left averaging 2035 so pretty ordinary.. Good luck mate

    Vinnie · 31/05/2012 at 09:41

    G'day Chris,

    Pretty strong team, mate.

Thought I'd give you a heads up that in Rd 13, unless you burn some trades, your backline and forward line will be pretty severely depleted, mate.

Lids, Goddard, Suckers, Gearstick and Ellis will be in the midst of a bye, as will be Franklin, Hale and Jackie boy.

You might want to look at some DPPs to nurse you through that round, unless you're flying higher than a mare's tail which then take the loss and save your trades for the pointy end.

Simmo · 31/05/2012 at 04:21

Great work as always Jock!

This week im upgrading morris, should i go to Waters, Scotland or Enright?? (already have Delidio, Goddard and Shaw)

What do people think?

    Marc · 31/05/2012 at 07:15

If you go Scotland you'll have Scots, Lids and Goddard out in rd 13 (The problem I'm currently facing). Enright will give you him and Shaw out in rd 12. Waters will be a rd 11 bye, but he won't clash with any of your other premium backmen.

      Vinnie · 31/05/2012 at 09:43

Bloody sucks having Carlton, Richmond and St Kilda all out in Rd 13. That will kill most DEF/MID swings…

Chesterfield Sofa · 13/09/2012 at 11:31

You have written a great resource.
