Another massive weekend of Supercoach and Dreamteam preseason fodder has just finished. We sink our teeth into the news that Demon rookie James Magner and Freo young gun Lachie Neale have both been injured. We start by ripping through the rookies that you should have a gander at as possible midfield rookie replacements.
Just some of the players discussed by Jock, Crouching and Higgo this week;
- Crow Sam Kerridge (mid/fwd $106,600 SC)
- Cat Billie Smedts (fwd/dwf $113,200) and fellow Cats Simon Hogan, Cam Guthrie, Horlin-Smith and Orren Stephenson
- Blossoming Port ruckman Jarrad Redden (ruck $113,200)
- Freo’s Greg Broughton (def $502,100)
- Young GWS midfield rookies Toby Greene, Liam Sumner, Anthony Miles and Dom Tyson
- Dog rookie Clay Smith (mid $116,600)

Superb 😀 few little changes: .. have a feeling after watching the wknd that mcintosh might just be the second fiddle to goldstien after all .. keep an eye on it next week .. might be better value in a coks rookie approch. Bartel in the middle is a brave one too, might be better options else where .. other than that you are looking very solid and very well balanced .. really good team
Yeah nice team Dan mate – concurr with MJ, also not sure if young Adam Treloar will be there rd 1 for the Giants, lets wait n see if he gets a run next week
Hi Jock will up the cast onto itunes?
Sure mate – just search for Jock Reynolds in the iTunes podcast directory and you can subscribe to the pods from there
Thanks Scotchn Coke appreciate the support and your input with the Community mate 😉 top notch
Who would be some good tradeable options for mcintosh?
Is Lenny Hayes worth looking at? How's his pre season form been? I know he hasn't Played much
What about Levi Casboult? he seems to be getting some touches?
@ MJ

Can anyone tell me why The G'n'R strategy is somewhat popular?
I just rekon with the Substitute Rule enforced, alot of the lower price rookies will spend more time on the sidelines. It doesnt really help that we dont know who will wear the vest till gameday either.
The idea is you can spend more cash on premiums, and hopefully you've picked rookies that will play (read YES…) And therefore make you a ton of cash, so you can trade up and end the season with a team of guns.
Yes = GWS…
