First Comment πŸ˜€

Thanks so much Damo. Very helpful stuff!

I hope people heed your Franklin comment if they still have him. It would be funny.

2. BrownlowBoy says:

Thought Franklin wasn't playing this week? What's the go with him being named?

3. Cpt says:

Shop early on Phillips. Named on the wing. This kid isn’t going anywhere. Saints are playing like rubbish.

• Russty_ says:

Never underestimate the decisions of a crap coach, coaching a crap team.

• Richos Tiges says:

1 up and 1 down – Phillips is a must this week! 70+ this week for sure.

• Crowboy94 says:

How is Phillip's a must this week? Most likely wont play onfield for most people and he has 2 more games until he goes up in price….

• WinnerRGrinners says:

How did Phillips play last week , Has a tough 3 games ahead
Can he cut the mustard???

4. iLoveNMFC says:

Yeo or Simpson?

5. Davidd says:

As I know, most bloggers deal with different topics. But only some bloggers try to go beyond the limits of blogging, stand upon the brim or creative writing and come up with excellent pieces of writing. This blog belongs to the second type, cheers!

web: thesis writing service

• Russty_ says:

This isn't a Blog, it's a Website, long established, most Blogs are just visual garbage clogging up the Internet with self promoting crap…trying to get likes.

• DavidSA says:

Says the guy with 5 likes 😢
Hahaha kidding Russty but you do have 5 likes 😢

6. WinnerRGrinners says:

who do I bring in
My heart says Danger or should I wait a week or two incase his price goes down a bit
Treloar is solid
and now you put Chotchen on the table

What do I do????

• johnno2908 says:

Danger for sure.

I just don’t understand how supercoach scoring is weighted. Ben Ronke kicked some extraordinary goals in pressure moments, scored roughly 12 points a goal as I watched the live supercoach scores. Dangerfield kicked a goal from a free kick in the third quarter which I don’t think was actually there anyway and got 17 points. Cats were 7 points in front at the time.

CD love him. I’m sure I would rather enjoy the random free points than watching my opponent have him and wondering where the free points are coming from!

• BVB21 says:

CD scoring is a joke.

If Franklin or Danger did what Ronke did they would’ve got close to 200

• KSinny says:

Gotta love old mate Chotchen

7. Jimmy says:

Webster or Simpson and Robinson or Menegola?

8. Richos Tiges says:

Dustin Martin sucks footballs!
Lazy pr!ck let players run past him 3 times last week without a whimper, no attempt at tackling them whatsoever – an ordinary player would have been dragged from the ground and dropped.
After one of the greatest seasons of all time, brownlow, norm smith and a flag and a big $$$$$$$ payday he has gotten lazy!

91, 88, 87, 64 (BE of 162)
656k to start the season – now 519k
He is about to bleed out.

Come on Dusty you are better than this – give us a 150 like we know you can.

• Nostradumbarse says:

I'll probably downgrade seedsman to him after the bye. His last 7 games will be much better

• johnno2908 says:

Interestingly enough did a pretty similar thing in rounds 4-7 last year where he averaged 81.5 with a high of 93 and a low of 54. As an owner, I’m hoping last years trend continues and he starts going bang!

On another note, as much as I hate the tag, fark Ben Jacobs is good at it.

• Richos Tiges says:

In those rounds last year – Tackles – 3,6,6,4.
Tackles this season 1,7,1,1,1,2,4,1.

Scores will pick up but the lack of effort p!sses me off letting guys run past while he is standing there holding his you know what.
Rest of our team is carrying the load pressure wise though.

• Holty01 says:

I agree in some respect. I said before the season started and a week ago that last year was a contract year and i wouldnt pick him this year as i was concerned he would just go through the motions now he is getting big money. Although after his first few games this season i was concerned. Its still early days but he doesnt look like the Dusty of last year

• Corey says:

Dusty didn’t deserve to win the Brownlow he gets all the cheap possessions and doesn’t tackle

• DavidC says:

He was amazing last year, definitely deserved to win the Brownlow. Get real.

9. L G says:

What should the poor folk that have billings go with him ?

10. Russty_ says:

Chotchen?…really…lol, I'd get Danger in this week…then you'll have him.

• SC_Sixty6 says:

Lol. As I read this I was gonna post about chotchen but you did it for me. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Some people aye!

11. Rocksta_ says:

Go Guelfi you good thing!!!!

• Russty_ says:

Nice to see Goofy back in the mix Rocksta!

• Rocksta_ says:

Agreed Russty.
Needed another option on my fwd bench rotation, like most I’d imagine

• Russty_ says:

Same, don't need another rotter on my O'Connor.

• DavidSA says:

Gruffy and Murphy (especially Murphy) needed this. They both need this game and the next to be decent heads to chop

12. Ben says:

Thoughts on Lachlan Keefe job security

13. JIMMY says:

Naughton and Doedee out IN Yeo and Simpson good or bad trades

• Holty01 says:

Silly question Jimmy. You know its a great trade. Go for it.

• Valens_FC says:

Can’t go far wrong only question on timing and price for Yeo. He might have the role following Dusty. Last time he had a role on Dnager he scored 27.

14. Rick says:

Around 300k left. Do I need 1 up, 1 down or go for an upgrade somewhere. Probably could get FWD, MID or DEF.
Who would you target and why?
DEF: Laird, Simpson, Shaw, Doedee, Murray, Cole (Naughton, L Murphy)
MID: Fyfe, Danger, Titch, Dusty, Cogs, T Kelly, Petracca, Holman (Barry, Brayshaw, Spargo)
RUC: Gawn, NicNat (Olango)
FWD: Heeney, Maclean, Sicily, D Smith, Billings, Henry (Guelfi, Fritsch)

• BadgerHoney7 says:

holman to phillips (go early on him) naughton to yeo. next week go trac or billings (your choice) to premo, henry down to rook, then week after go doodoo to rice, brayshaw to macrae (or premo mid). should than have enough to go fritsch to gray and than do another downgrade somewhere. week after go murray to hurley (will be back).

• HumanBob says:

Holman to Bont because you need to score a lot more points

• SC_Sixty6 says:

Judging by that team I'm guessing you'd have at least 28 trades. Basically looks like a starting team.

Also why is petracca in your mids? Looks like you copied a community team off Doctor SC from FB.

Go doedee to withers and petracca to zorko. Take a gamble. You need some pods.

15. Lazza says:

With Matt Crouch and O’Meara out and Hurley, Ed Curnow, Acres and Ratugolea too I’d imagine there will be a few feeling the pain this week. And hoping Nankervis plays ..

16. jeff says:

bring zorko and sicily in for fisher and finlayson this week?

• JIMMY says:

Zorko will get tagged this week and get 30 so if u want 30 yes

• Russty_ says:

Not sure about that Jimmy, Hawks will blow Brisbane away without worrying about tagging anyone I'm thinking.
Zorkos could score another big one.

• PJ King says:

Howe goes to Zorko for sure.

• Russty_ says:

Brisbane play Hawks this week PJ, Howe isn't a tagger anyhoo…he's a defensive rebounder.

• PJ King says:

Daniel Howe!! Bucks didn't think he needed to tag Zorko and look what happened… almost got beat.

• HumanBob says:

Sicily is a great in jeff but I'm not sold on Zorko, he's still vulnerable to the tag and teams desperate for a win will tag him. If you can get Zorko without losing two guys averaging 80+ he could be a great loophole option.

17. taylor says:

I need 2 out of the 3 which ones (I can get any of them)

Simpson, Yeo or Sicily???

• JIMMY says:

Sicily 180 this everyone will say 150 for rest of year every game and probaly simpson

• deancoxlover says:

are you foreign? Because that is the most badly written sentence i have ever read. Like Jesus Christ are you illiterate??

• HumanBob says:

Well said Jimmy, it's a bit like when Dargo 125 when everyone say for starting at 200!

• HumanBob says:

Yeo and Sicily now and Simmo after his bye

• Sc_Wow says:

Avoiding the carnage Bob?

• HumanBob says:

You know I am. How about you Wow?

• Sc_Wow says:

Copped the Hurley injury. Hopefully I can work around it

• HumanBob says:

You'd be upgrading to another Prem down back this week anyway wouldn't you? Buddy coming back is an unexpected bonus, I hope he repeats round 1

• Sc_Wow says:

Yep that’s what I did. Yeah wouldn’t mind bringing him in after a couple of weeks

• HumanBob says:

I bought in Darling for Henry before I heard that Buddy would actually play but I didn't reverse the trade coz my fwd line is very skinny. Punted Doedee as well

• HumanBob says:

I hope that you kept Hurley and upgraded a bench player. I wish you well mate even though I will remind you of the value of humility (not humiliation) occasionally O:-)

• Sc_Wow says:

Yep I kept big Hurley. Left the big Do in my team and he went well.
Yeah mate I am a humble guy, guess things can get potrayed incorrectly online at times.
Good luck to you Bob

• HumanBob says:

In relation to your podcast/website future. Take it from a former brand exec who made it to Park Ave NYC, you'll attract many more visitors with gentle encouragement in the forums rather than hard truth.

18. Mek says:

Naughton and Doedee out IN Yeo and Simpson good or bad trades

• Russty_ says:

Go for it Mek…it sure can't hurt your side!

• Maverick_ says:

awfully similar to JIMMY's post just down below mek… stick to the one alias please get's too confusing
I do like the trades though both going to be top 6 defenders and naughton and doedee have made there $$$

19. Jimmy says:

is pittard injured again?? he played 1 game and was dropped or?

20. TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Well thats it.
Forget about going for broke and going for the title now crouch has pulled a heart string.
Nic nat donut last week not gonna cop a crouch one this week or a rook fail.
What a great trade that was last week, almost as good as that other winner dusty.
Premos my a$$!

So focus back to leagues time to have some fun.
No point playing safe time to put em on the line and bring in the rock lobster!
$100k up from holman. Bang.

M8 and crouch on the couch.

Up against gold coast should score better than all the other mid bench rookies with the exception of kelly who will be on deck anyway.

If fyfe misses will have to play one anyway.
Lets go.

• Russty_ says:

Hey Trig, rough deal with Crouch out again mate…same here with Dusty, brought his expensive ass in for 660k or something!…have to stick with him now though, he usually turns things around closer to the pointy end of the season, hope Rocky turns back into his old self for ya.

21. Rocksta_ says:

Crouch…………… Ouch!!

22. AuroraBorealis?! says:

Brought Crouch in last week, so fair to say im disappointed that he hasn't been named. Does anybody know if he's re-tweaked his hamstring? Or is he just sore?

• Rocksta_ says:

Re-Tweaked his hamstring.
I, like you, brought him in last week. Went for him over Oliver, against my better judgement.
That decision has cost me 50 plus points, and a trade ( 2 Hammies in a matter of weeks a very bad sign…. has to go)!

• Rocksta_ says:

Have a guess whom I traded him to……… serves up some harsh lessons…………..Need to go with your Gut all the time!

• AuroraBorealis?! says:

Are you sure he re-tweaked his hammy? Trigga says he's just sore. Where did you get your intel from?

• Rocksta_ says:

AFL Live app. I, unlike some others, don’t profess to have inside info!

• Sc_Wow says:

Afl live app states he has soreness, no damage to hamstring revealed on scans and that they are being carful

• AuroraBorealis?! says:

Cheers Rocksta, i just read the article myself. He didn't severely injure it again which is positive, but he's still sore in the hammy. I've got other issues to deal with this week anyway so on the bench he goes.

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

"Scans have cleared crouch of any further hamstring damage but after he pulled up sore crows are taking a cautious approach. Should just be one week"

• Rocksta_ says:

I’m not buying it Lads.
He looked like he was at half tilt last week. The boy can definitely play, but hammies are a bitch to get over

• Derek says:

It also said he “felt soreness in his hammy” I don’t like sound of that

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Butter boy pulled up sore to be reassessed next week.

• Beezneez says:

Might be hamstring awareness.

23. Dom says:

Billings to Phillips via dpp higgins? Good or bad trade?

• nickgonzalez771 says:

At this stage you're better off waiting another week.

• Lachy says:

why wait. phillips has been tearin up the VFL and looked impressive on debut in a sh*t side. you will either have him this week or the next one way or the other. go early grab another rookie next week on the bubble.

24. campbell says:

I need some help with my team. I have 24k in the bank and 21 trades left.
This is my team and i have some serious problems.

Laird, Sicily, Simpson, Hibberd, Doedee, Murray – Naughton, Keefe
Martin, Fyfe, Oliver, Cripps, Mitchell, Coniglio, T Kelly, Holman – Brayshaw, Spargo, Barry
Gawn, Jacobs – D Cameron
Heeney, Hogan, D Smith, Billings, Fristch, Higgins – Henry, Waterman

Was thinking about trading two out of Doedee, Murray, Billings or Holman. Also worried about the underperformance of Sam Jacobs. Who to trade and who should i get for them. I need some help!

• Maverick_ says:

I'd look at trading doedee (huge BE) down to a cummings or Keefe & upgrade holman i reckon . paint the fence!
billings has the scores in him he's proved it just have to stick it out now his lost too much $$ and jacobs far from magnificent but just hold for a bit longer and look at a ryder or grundy after there byes as jacobs has the RD14.

• HumanBob says:

Naughton to the cheapest playing def and then Henry to McLean or Bont. Your major leaking point is your M8. Henry's price wont go up much more and he's too unreliable for onfield same can be said for Holman but he has some value during the byes.

25. Maverick_ says:

Finlayson, naughton and doedee to all be culled and no decent options on the horizon down back..
also i need to start upgrading my fwd line but henry, ronke fritsch, guelfi and ZGL are all so far from culling.
what a headache! i can see my rank plummeting over the next 3-4 weeks.
But i do have my eye or both eyes firmly fixed on rocky if he can find some form.

• DavidC says:

Cumming, Rice, Ridley all on the horizon for potential defensive downgrades.

• Sc_Wow says:

Henry isn’t that far from the cull

• Maverick_ says:

yeah i have henry in my plans to cull in 2 weeks for essendons clarke. i saw his VFL stats and they blew my mind.
Hopefully he can handle the AFL.

26. Crowboy94 says:

Nankervis is definitely not playing this weekend…

27. DaVid says:

What should i do?
1/ Trade Doedee and Barry for Phillips and Webster
2/ No trades this week and get yeo for doedee next week
3/ Billings for Phillips and Doedee for Yeo

Any suggestions appreciated

28. The Ranger says:

If you HAD to pick a mid rookie this week who would it be?

29. Tio says:

Who is the best rookie to bring in this week for the people that have to do so?

30. Kale says:

Gawn is priced at 670k should i trade him to a sinclair or martin whose avg is less but would make me 140k? would be a nice little profit and still getting a good ruck in return. help please.

• Sc_Wow says:

• AuroraBorealis?! says:

I honestly can't tell if he's trolling or not

• Kale says:

thanks Wow trades done πŸ™‚ keep up the encouragement and terrific advice.
happy to have pocketed 550k going crossley, should fatten up to 350k i hope n get gawn back when he falls to earth around 480k.

• prizza says:

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Would make a stack cash if you went down to crossley. <img draggable="false" class="emoji" alt="πŸ™Š" src="">
Surely u jest.
Not even shakers would try that one.

• Shake_n_Bake_ says:

Haha come rd 13 something l would definitely look at sideways trade a Gawn if he keeps his price.

• BadgerHoney7 says:

i honestly would say its not the dumbest idea i have heard, but only do it if u need money.

• Kale says:

Thanks Badge.
He has to come crashing down sooner or later so why not cash out when his at his peak to a ruckman who isn't averaging substantially less.

• Crowboy94 says:

• Derek says:

Now that, my friend, is a Shark Move.

OTW would be proud

• ATeam12345 says:

Gawn to Kruezer

• JohnDJ59 says:

• DavidSA says:

If I invite you all to my house to play old school games on my SNES, Sega and Atari and I order 10 pizzas and I pay for them.. and give you all a box of pizza each then I ask for the boxes back 1 hour later it's all Gawn!

Btw the Pizza is all the same my favourite Pepperoni with anchovies extra cheese thin crust.

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Was digging around in the shed the other day and found the old atari.
Havent played since i was a kid.
Of course doesnt work on a digitial tv but did a little digging on line and there is a plug you can buy ($5) that takes a analogue signal and converts to a digitial.
Plugged her in and gold.
Atari old school.
My young fella was shocked at the graphics.
Makes ya laugh.

• DavidSA says:

Hahah that's awesome man love them sounds from Atari. Oh the memories! My Parents would play it and when I turned 5 omg SNES was the shit.
Super CastleVania
Mario World
Zelda link to the past
Them 3 were debut games for the console and are still in the top 10 SNES library!

The ones after it are: Donkey Kong Country, Crono Trigger, Secret Of Mana, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy-3, Mario kart and Contra

• Ricardo says:

Do it. Downgrade to Kruezer (highest rank ruck start of season) then upgrade a mid rookie with the $200k in the bank!

31. Lachy says:

Doedee naughton and finlayson to be traded and no decent rookie options. only cummins and keefe and dont like either.
keefe slightly ahead with DPP.

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Yeah think the go is to downgrade a fat mid or fwd rook and upgrade in defence.

• Lachy says:

i think your right trigg.
possibly a brayshaw/holman to phillips early, will be a cash generator and ball magnet in the VFL and doedee to yeo/webster

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Sounds good lachy

• Russty_ says:

Agree Lachy, with Yeo, not Webster..all Saints players are unreliable scuz-buckets…Phillips, I'd wait another week on.

• Lachy says:

hmmm do we have another decent option for holman to downgrade too russty? phillips JS would have to be pretty solid wouldnt it?

• Russty_ says:

I'm keeping Holman on the bench, provides good cover all 3 bye rounds.

• prizza says:

Same prob here, taken the chance with keeth as i have a small back up with murphy back, phillips and cummins cant wait the mandatory , just got to hope one of them can become a decent D7

32. Lachy says:

barry has made sweet F**k all cash. so do we hold or trade to phillips and take the very small amount made to start regenerating

• BKW says:

Not a priority to trade right now but I’ll prob flock him for someone like Clarke in a few weeks

• Steeeve says:

Couple of power injuries and he could be a massive help throughout the byes

33. campbell says:

Started with 24k and 21 trades.
I've gone Tom Doedee to Isaac Cumming as i already have L.Keefe and there is no other rookie options.
Was going to upgrade Holman but there is no good midfield premiums that i can afford.
Should i go Sam Murray or Aaron Naughton to Elliot Yeo or Jack Billings to Robbie Gray as my second trade?

• TIGESB2B says:

If you've held Billings this long, you may as well keep him until he comes good. Naughton to Yeo would be good; save Murray for your next D upgrade.

34. Caleb says:

Yeo or webster? money isnt a factor neither is the bye.
Unsure on both there consistency

• Russty_ says:

Webster's highest average over the last 6 years is 71.1..last year.
Yeo averaged over 100 last year, and is in a much better team than St-Shite-da

• Rocksta_ says:

Yeo’s Days of inconsistency are well behind him. He is now a bloody good footballer. His bad score for the year was because he was fulfilling a role for the team.
Yeo in a canter

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Hoping for one more yo moment so can get him a bit cheaper.

35. Rocksta_ says:

Ok, I’ve pressed the Reverse Trade button on the Crouch ejection, only because I just noticed the Crows don’t play again after tmr until Sunday week.
We will know for sure If he has a problem if he isn’t named for Rd10.
I’ll admit I may have still been smarting a bit/lot from going him over Oliver last week.

36. BlueBaggerJosh says:

Finlayson to Webster (this week) and Walters (Next week)
Finlayson to Ryan (this week) and Yeo (Next week)

37. John says:

Worth going Nank to Grundy to save from a possible donut if he's a late out? Or Olango to Crossley?

38. BlueBoy says:

1. Petracca and Doedee for Oliver and Cumming
2. Petracca and Fritsch for Oliver and Phillips
3. Petracca and Doedee for Yeo and Phillips

Want Oliver this week and don't have enough with just the one trade but not sure on Cumming's JS. I think Phillips will stay in the team for a bit.

Have Spargo, Guelfi and Henry to chose from to replace Fritsch. Other forwards are Heeney, Walters, Hogan, Smith and McLean.

• BlueBoy says:

I should add Oliver is better for my bye structure than Yeo and he will probably go up in price a bit after this week.

• Tyruddanaut says:

If you have Sicily, get in Keeffe instead of Cummings. So option 1

• JohnDJ59 says:

I'd go Petracca and Henry to Oliver and Phillips. Fritsch is playing alright 90, 65, 98 the last three rounds.

39. SC_Sixty6 says:

No point whinging about Dusty! His scores are irrelevant if you're in the top 1k. Everyone has him and if you take him out he'll no doubt burn you but not only that you'll burn a trade when you could be upgrading. Just let him stink it up and worry about your pods that seperate you from the next.

40. Simon says:

Hogan with 90 k to guarantee danger next week
someone like robinson/darling/tmac?

41. Jordan? says:

Thoughts on Mitch Robinson?

42. Sean says:

Need suggestions? Slammed at work and don't have much time to research things before lockout. Naughton out, Hurley hurt Nank??? Read he's been at training and Soldo is on the bench. Thoughts??

21 Trades Left

$236,900 salary remaining

Laird, Hurley, Doedee, Naughton, Finlayson, Keefe (Richards, Mirra)

Dangerfield, Mitchell, Dusty, Fyfe, Cripps, Selwood, Coniglio, Kelly ( Holman, Banfield, Brodie)

Gawn, Nank (Cameron)

r Grayy, McLean, Sicily, D. Smith, Fritsch, Giles-Langdon (D. Fogarty, Guelfi)

• why4 says:

So who are you thinking of trading out and in?

• Sean says:

Thinking of going Nank to Grundy

Naughton to ???

I have Sicily in my forward line so I can move him to defense. At least that gives me the option of either a FWD or DEF. By going with Grundy only leaves enough cash for a rookie.

43. Actor Slash Model says:

Is Nank to Grundy sideways or an Upgrade. Thanks Lads.

44. Sean says:

Thinking of going Nank to Grundy

Naughton to ???

I have Sicily in my forward line so I can move him to defense. At least that gives me the option of either a FWD or DEF. By going with Grundy only leaves enough cash for a rookie.

45. James says:

With English out again is it worth downgrading to Crossley? Especially with the cloud around Nank.

Other trade is Naughton to Simpson but if I left English in I could do something like Murray to Hogan/Darling/Tmac as well

• r_calve says:

crossley downgrade looks good but check how long nank is out for becuase if it is a while the. you should probably move him on

46. Stupid Coach says:

Top notch stuff again Damo. Currently sitting on 19 trades with only 57k in the bank. Team is as follows :
B: Laird, Hurley, Savage, Ryan, Deedee, Finlayson (Naughton, Dunam)
M: Danger , Crisps, Titch, Dusty, Cogs, Parker, T Kelly, Spargo (Holman, Barry, Crowden)
R: Gawn, Nank (Olongo)
F: Buddy, Sicily, Smith, Petracca, Gowers, ZGL (Guelfi, Henry)
Thinking I should only make one trade this week which would be to downgrade either a mid (Holman) or a def (Doedee or Finlayson) to generate cash and do an upgrade next week. Only concern is Hurley is out with only Dunam as coverage.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

• Tyruddanaut says:

Two trades this week for you. You have Doedee, Finlayson and Naughton (not playing) as peaked and Duman also not playing.

I would do the most popular trades this week with a slight variation.
Finlayson —> Yeo
Naughton —> Keeffe (long run prospect, DPP swing means that an F7 can also act as a D7 and an M9

• Stupid Coach says:

Thanks Tyruddanaut. Sounds like a good plan. What are your thoughts on Simpson over Yeo. Scored similar points and Simmo is about $30k cheaper.

• Tyruddanaut says:

Relies on many kicks at high efficiency, less potential but looks to be the better short term option

47. Tyruddanaut says:

Lots of people going early on Cummings. 11th most traded in player this week with 3484.
Consider Keeffe.

If you have Sicily, an F7 can act as a D7 or M9.
The defense this year is very secluded. Unless you have Finlayson (trade), Coffield or Seedsman, having a DPP eligible defender will be great

• DavidC says:

As soon as GWS get some fit bodies back Keeffe will be gone. Not worth trading in.

48. Rocksta_ says:

Ok, I changed my mind again. Crouch to Oliver still leaves me with $50K. Oliver has a BE of 75, and Carlton’s tagger Ed Curnow got rubbed out last night meaning Oliver will get off the leash. It’s now or never on him. Also, I re-read the Crouch article and I’m very sceptical that they will fly him to Alice Springs next week. Ranked just outside 400, I simply cannot afford to have a premo sitting on the bench for multiple weeks at this stage. So I say Fk it, lets roll!

• Derek says:

Crouch said he felt sore in hammy. Even though the scans said he was ok, I don’t like sound of it

• Beezneez says:

I've got Crouch and Hurley. My original trade plan was to get Simpson through Naughton to Cummings/Keeffe and Doedee/Murray to Simpson. Would easily swap Crouch for Oliver and maybe Hurley for Simpson if I had the $$$. Advertiser this morning says the club expects Crouch and Brown are expected to play next week – but we've heard that before. I am so torn which way to go. If you're top 400 I'd be tempted to go to Oliver and don't look back.

• TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Yep fk it lets roll
Im going holman to rocky.

• Wedge says:

I'm wondering if jed lamb with play the lock down on Oliver. Totally ruined BJ. He's a serial pest. Remember houli last year had to punch his lights out.

• Sc_Wow says:

One thing tagging and ageing defender. There is no way lamb could go with Oliver

• Rocksta_ says:

I hope you are right Wow. I need a good score this week after 2 consecutive below par rounds.
I’m still kicking myself for going Crouch instead of Oliver last week. Only did it to save the $25K, but cost me over 50 points and a trade in the end.

• Ahmad rubas says:

Lamb normally goes to a defender rance Hoult Goddard etc with curnow out Oliver is an amazing option

49. Nick says:

Who to trade first, Doedee, Finlayson or Murray?

50. Bells says:

Hold Hurley? This is the year of the 4 week 1-2 week injury. I've STLL got Kelly. πŸ™

• PJ King says:

For sure! Hurley is ranked 5th for defenders. It's not a "groin" injury so should be no more than three weeks (two most likely).

51. Theo says:

Hi community. Newish (Dumb SCer). I am ok with the C loophole but still confused with the E loophole which I stuffed up last week.
M Crouch is out so I leave him on the field. I have Banfield, Dow and Spargo on my mid bench. Which one do I put the E on? The first playing one which is Banfield?

• Derek says:

You can’t use Crouch for your loophole because he plays first.

• PJ King says:

E goes on whoever you think will get the highest score.

• WTFoxtrot_58 says:

For loophole E goes on the one that plays first.
If he scores well you leave your nonplaying onfield.
If he doesnt score well you simply swap your non playing onto bench and bring in another.
Thats why theo cant use Crouch.
He plays first and would be locked out.

52. Wazzaman says:

I have Danger as VC. Who is best out of Gawn and Grundy as C? Worried that Kreuzer will nullify Big Max somewhat. Grundy should destroy Hickey but not sure, or should I go Titch as C but the big tag will be on again.
SC sure is ‘Worrying’.

• FFC says:

Personally, going VC Danger…and looking at Gawn or Oliver(no Curnow this week) for C. Don't have Grundy myself. Not sure if it helps.

53. Derek says:

Tuohy gets a mention on the cheat sheet. Not a big fan, but I only just noticed his price, very interesting.

Before everyone tells me he won’t be top 6 etc, I have a bit of a cash problem, done my forward projections and it looks like I’m going to need an almost-premium in my team at some point unless Barry, Venables, O’Conner, Garlet, Crowden can find another $400k between them.

Tuohy at D6 isn’t the worst thing is it? It will be either Doedee or Finlayson to be traded out, or do I just hold them for now?

• BVB21 says:

If you aren’t making cash you are going to need to pick players like Tuohy, J Kennedy (both) Kreuzer Zorko recto get to full
Premo so I think it’s fine

• gator59 says:

Not as silly as it seems Derek.. We all gotta do what we think is right to get to full premo …At worse he can be traded out or come in handy for a D7

• dontblushbaby says:

Similar ,Cats have Bombers,Blues and Suns over the next 3 weeks, heaps points to had ;

I'm looking at going :
Dooday to Tuohy
O'meara to Danger

• SamuraiPizzaCat says:

Doesn't seem like the worst idea. You actually have me considering it now.

I was originally going to trade Naughton to Keefe and Doedee to Yeo.

But with O'Meara out I'm now thinking Naughton to Keefe and O'Meara to Oliver.

Or I could go the risky budget options with Doedee to Tuohy and O'Meara to Zorko (deal with Naughton next round).

• Trade says:

doedee to tuohy no-brainer

• Trade says:

Only thing stopping is wanting cash to upgrade Nankervis to Grundy. Need Doedee to rookie then

• HumanBob says:

If you're going to gamble I think that there are better 'return on risk' options @ sub 380k in the forward line Derek

• Derek says:

Otherwise it is wait for Simmo and Hurley to drop and hold finlayson and doedee

• The Ranger says:

He's dropped a fair bit hasn't he? Hadn't noticed his 25. What happened in that game?

• Neil demons delight says:

Will you come in at 14 m. This will happen to a lot of ppl Derek Hope YOU'RE not playing me but check out MARTIN FROM G C An almost keeper maybe less CHEERS NDD

• Liam says:

I think going Gawn to Ryder after ports bye is your best bet if you are short on cash.

You pocket around 150k and an extra game from Ryder.

It comes down to Gawn and tuohy V Ryder and Simpson/Yeo/Hurley.

54. John says:

O'Meara ($416,500)
Keeffe ($123,900)
Finlayson ($345,300)
Dangerfield ($604,500)

55. r_calve says:

do I go for menegola, tom McDonald, Webster or Mundy, only got 530k so who else to go for)

56. taylor says:

Out Finlayson – in Yeo
Out Doedee – in Sicily

next week
Out Murry – in Simpson
Out Fritsch – in Phillips

• Jack says:

Seems solid enough but I'll play the devil's advocate for you.
Yeo, Simpson & Sicily all have the bye together. Is this going to be a problem?
Are Finlayson & Doedee your biggest problems? If so, you're doing very well. Understand the high breakeven talk, but I see 2 guys averaging 80 who could easily make more coin. I don't buy the talk they've hit a wall…yet.
Other than that looks great

57. Sellars1226 says:

How long is Parfitt out

58. nankthetank says:

Keefe or Cummings? I've never been keen on going early but I don't feel like Keefe will last too long in the team.

59. Alex says:

Looking forward to completely ruining my season this week by bringing in Phillips a week early

60. BadgerHoney7 says:

Danger – Titch/Gawn??

61. BadgerHoney7 says:

Also Spargo, Fritsch, Guelfi, Henry – have to pick 2.

62. Holmesy says:

how is Keefes JS?

63. Dicko says:

Does Billings have to go?

• Sc_Wow says:

He should of gone weeks ago, probably can’t do much with him now

• Beezneez says:

• DavidSA says:

there is one last option Billings for Rockliff after Ports bye.
Gotta hope on one thing though and that's Rockliff not getting an injury
He should be good for 80-120 scores for rest of season. Ports draw is much better in back half 8/12 are home games with Carlton, Freo, WB, Collingwood away

• Defying_Madness says:

Didn’t you say he would go massive a couple of weeks ago?

64. Frank says:

Billings for Phillips and Doedee for Yeo ?

65. fyfemywife says:

I was thinking of bringing in webster this week, but to my surprise not much has been said about him.
Thought people would be going bananas with the potential value… is there something i am missing???

66. BlueBaggerJosh says:

Acres out for 4-6 weeks due to groin issue for anyone who has him, he was looking to be a consistent fwd option. Maybe Billings holders might get rewarded after all due to this omission?

67. THE SALTSHAKER says:

Getting on the Lobb train, should i hold Petracca his be 135 means he could lose a shitload again if he has a measly 15d

68. FiL says:

Lord help me. I've just brought IN Billings. Avg 100 for the run home last year and is cheap as chips. Massive risk but could be a massive reward.

• Northernsoul74 says:

I’d want to see a couple of solid games before even considering.

• Neil demons delight says:

As gator and rusty would say YOURE CRAZY

• sc tragic says:

Are you kidding me, I've just been ducking and diving for 3 weeks to unload him. I'll give him to you for I trades OK.

• Russty_ says:

You're CRAZY!…lol

69. Hawks says:

Who to play on field (no loophole available) out of – Ed Phillips, Coffield, Spargo & Holman?

Appreciate your thoughts

70. MalPal says:

Who to play on the field. No loophole.
Spargo, Banfield or Dow?
Thinking Dow because he is slowly getting more points.
What do think community?

71. Stupid Coach says:

Thoughts on :

1) Finlayson to Simpson
2) Finlayson to Yeo
3) Doedee to Simpson or
4) Doedee to Yeo

Simpson has scored more point overall and is averaging better. However, Yeo has more scores of 90 and above and is averaging better over the past 5 rounds.

In terms of the bye rounds, trading Doedee would enable to me to have 19 playing in the last bye round.

Appreciate any advice

• Da_Boysh says:

I like 2 personally. Finlayson is cooked and Yeo seems the goods. Can always grab Simpson after his bye for good cover i dont see his score rocketing up anytime soon. im holding Doedee till his bye i think

• Stupid Coach says:

Thanks Da_Boysh. Both Doedee and Finlayson are cooked (similar BE). Only reason I am thinking of getting rid of Doedee instead of Finalyson is that it helps me to get 18 players on the field during the last bye round (14) which is the only bye round that I am short.

72. TBrab says:

Hey community, I need to trade in a premo defender and can't decide which way to go.

Thinking Yeo or Hurn are good options, I do like Sicily's DPP, but I reckon he still has another suspension or 2 on the cards, so is the risk worth it?

• Simo036 says:

I've brought Sicily in this week, surely he can't be that stupid again

• TBrab says:

You'd hope not, but he did go twice in 3 weeks which demonstrates a lack of control on his part.

73. anthdepa says:

DEF (Laird, Savage, Hurn, Sciliy, Doedee, Naughton) – Coffield, Mirra

MID ( Mitchell, Martin, Fyfe, Macrae, Parker, Coniglio, J.Kelly, T.Kelly ) – Spargo, Barry, Brayshaw

RUCK (Gawn, Nank) – Cameron

FWD (Heeney, McLean, D.Smith ,Franklin, Fritsch, Henry,) – Guelfi, Giles-Langdon

$38,100 in the bank.

Not sure what trades to do, have so many options here. Could get rid of Kelly for a premo in Cripps or Oliver. Or may even do a downgrade so I can upgrade my defence with still Doedee and Naughton there. Need a lot of help here leave opinions and thoughts down below please.

74. Pauly says:

Who is a good defender or foward priced from 350-500 thats not webster

75. Lock n load says:

Webster or Lloyd?

76. Steve says:

English > Crossley
Finlayson > Yeo

77. AuroraBorealis?! says:

Do i trade Nank up to Grundy this week to avoid a donut or trade doedee to Simpson? Only got enough cash for one and im leaning toward the second option at the moment because it suits my team structure better. That being said, im also playing the only other person in my cash league thats still undefeated, so my pride is on the line if i choose to cop the donut in Nankervis. My brain says Simpson but my pride says Grundy. HELP

• Russty_ says:

Looks like Nank's playing mate, not definitely but haven't heard anything about him not playing, he had to get through training this arvo.
Nicnat and Lycett are planning to "doubleteam" him this week, so he might not score much, especially if his wrist is still sore.

78. Gemma says:

Doedee or Murray to Keefe or wasted trade?

79. Danny says:

Is Nank going to play?
I can go straight to Grundy and have $0 bank left
