  1. Russty_ says:

Hey Lek….The Avatar looks a bit like a UFC Fighter with gigantic pointy Nuts, they look like tough nuts though.
Maybe a 90's UFC fighter like Dan Severn, he had a moustache too 🙂

    • neil demons delight says:

good memory Russty How are your SAINTS going to go against the MIGHTY DEES Against better judgement bringing in flog what do you think LEK and RUSSTY GREAT SECTION CHOICE

      • Russty_ says:

Hey Neil, I think we'll get flogged mate, probs just be a training run for your Dees, Saints are going backwards to the bottom I think.
Sicily..good choice if…..you know what I mean haha

        • neil demons delight says:

yeah mate SICILY a big risk .A few years ago (a lot actually)the dees were undefeated on top playing the winless bears . We were 1.01 to win. On the morning of the game they lost VOSS and Lynch their best players. Guess what Russty they won and that sums Melbourne up No killer instinct and let your mate win it..Give me the HAWKS or DOGS any day they never give up but, Russty ,the COLAC under 10's would still be a big chance against the SAINTS Good luck anyway bud

          • Russty_ says:

Yeah mate sad but true, the Saints are a bust this year, no decent forward line to speak of…or in the forseeable future, have given up on them, but not my Supercoach side yet haha..there's still some hope there.

    • TRIGGA_HAPPY says:

Chuck was always one of my favourites a classic street brawler. 😉

    • dSaSpatSfcB says:

Russty, anyone who remembers 'The Beast' gets a double thumbs up from me. RESPECT. The other Mo Bro was Don 'The Predator' Frye.

      • Russty_ says:

Yeah mate…Frye was a beast too!…UFC was different back in the 90's ay?…no rules!..one code against another, no jujitsu yet and no MMA.

  2. John says:

How many premos do people have at the moment

  3. Dice_real says:

Hope it's Lekdog's puppies in relation to that photo at The Manhattan last year!

  4. Laird Lad Donuts says:

Westhoff or Mundy for my last Forward upgrade?

    • Sana says:

Mundy. Consistent contributer on a Freo team showing some hope. Ryder's return may affect Westhoff despite his luxurious beard.

  5. SC_Sixty6 says:

Interested to hear thoughts on Walters, Lek?

    • Lekdog says:

      2-3 is a hold, but I don't know if I believe that it'll only be 2-3…troubling

  6. neil demons delight says:

Forward line possibilities goes deep but are TARANTO FISHER and HOGAN REALLY THERE Good back ups though

  7. James says:

DEF: laird yeo Sicily finlayson doedee Murray (naughton Murphy)
MID: Fyfe Martin Mitchell Cripps Coniglio Zorko Kelly Holman (Banfield Brayshaw Barry)
    RUCK: Martin Gawn (Cameron)
FWD: Heeney Greene Billings Christensen Fristch Guelfi (Henry Keefe)

24 trades left, I think I’m going to hold this week, thoughts?

    • pod says:

Switch Sicily to forward for Greene and put Naughton on field

      • James says:

I’m thinking about trading Greene to McLean, it sounds like Greene is going to be out for a while.

        • Dermin8r says:

McLean has done right by me all season (so far) I would go with that upgrade.
You could also consider upgrading Sicily or Murray to Hurn (from WCE) for some more scoring in your backline.

    • Russty_ says:

Greene to Mclean is a good trade, Fritsch is on the extended bench for Sunday and Guelfi is dropped, Henry and Keefe are named on-field.

    • Russty_ says:

What pod said makes sense if you don't want to trade Greene out.

  8. Sellars1226 says:

What's the situation on M Crouch? Is he set to drop again this week? If so my trades this week will be

Brayshaw/Kent to Higgins/Spargo which leaves me 264K to get him in next week

But if not thinking Brayshaw and Kent to JPK and Spargo

  9. neil demons delight says:

    Mirra out

  10. prizza says:

Easy kill for the veteran pies coming in ,, the game has moved up that notch again this year , glad its Brisbane and not the tigers of last week.
    Smart thinking one would think.
Not talking supercoach , my team is carnaged.

  11. BadgerHoney7 says:

Couple of weeks ago we were debating who to bring in, Mirra or Duman, everyone said Mirra. This week Duman starting CHB, Mirra out. So happy I went Duman. Can't believe Guelfi was dropped on the other hand.

    • Russty_ says:

He was rested mate, 3 games too much for him.

      • neil demons delight says:

Was Lockett ever rested? never They're pussies now

        • Russty_ says:

Days gone by mate, it's a different game now…Coaches would be crucified now via social media if they didn't appear to be 'looking after their players' enough.

        • Dildor says:

Lockett never ran 17kms a game

        • Whatyasmokin says:

          Geez……

    • joe says:

      (via Essendon press release)
Worsfold explained his omission is intended to give the tough on-baller a rest.
“We were really pleased with what Matt showed"

  12. BadgerHoney7 says:

On other news, Matty Eagles was named. Maybe The Recruit 'might' offer something good

    • Russty_ says:

It'd be nice to see 1 'recruit' actually play a game haha

    • DavidC says:

Eagles has been very good in NEAFL again this year after a standout performance in the NEAFL grand final. They would want him to take the #1 forward to free up Andrews to play a more intercept role. I hope he gets a chance. No point in having a 29 year old on the list if you are never going to play him.

  13. Jim_bob321 says:

    Have Walters and Guelfi…
Playing with one less forward, maybe even two if Fritsch doesn't get named..
Should I just trade Walters to Sicily or hold?
    Thanks

    • Russty_ says:

Some wise heads in here seem to think Walters could be out for longer than predicted mate…I'd dump him if I had him.

      • neil demons delight says:

Dis agree mate Last year I could have used that trade in the granny

        • Russty_ says:

I wouldn't like to have 460k on the bench for possibly 4 weeks with a be of 158…better punted for a scorer.

    • joe says:

This is a no-brainer unless I am missing something. Walters is out for a month; when he comes back, his low score will reduce his price anyway if you want to buy him back for cheaper.

  14. TOPHAWK1 says:

Brought in Sicily and McLean tonight. BANG BANG!

    • Russty_ says:

Nice work mate!…Sicily forward or back?

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

Bought Sicily in on my backline and McLean in up forward. My warchest is now officially drained after those two trades. Time to pray. LOL . Cheers Russty

        • neil demons delight says:

Billings will be nice and cheap shortly A real pod too like Zorko

        • Russty_ says:

I did the similar thing Hawk and then reversed it, Bonner to Shaw and Christensen to Mclean..with 5k left, but then decided to go Bonner to Yeo and holman to Spargo, but reversed that too haha, now I'm just gonna wait until Sunday teams are released, gotta field a full team above all else.

          • TOPHAWK1 says:

Hi Russty. I was kinda kidding around a bit last night. I can trade in Sicily and McLean at the same time. But only if I flick Petracca and Parker….LOL Mind you, it's amazing how much my team looks after those two sideways moves. But I have to stay discliplined and get only one of those two in this week. I want Sicily first, and then McLean next week. So I have also hit the REVERSE button this morning.

Probably will have to grab Spargo early for Christensen, and then cull Holman for Sicily via DPP. Swing Finlayson into the midfield to prepare him for culling. Then Sicily will be down back as my third defensive premo. I prefer him down back rather than up forward. Unless there is a compelling reason to do otherwise, that is probably my most likely play. Spewing that Guelfi and Mirra have been omitted. Hopefully will be back soon. Cheers Russty!

  15. Coxforbrownlow says:

thoughts on trading in dunman and zac langdon as downgrade? not sure if to just leave the downgrades for next week as there are many up and coming next week.
    Cheers community

    • seen_burns says:

Depends who your trading out, and missed the 40k Langdon made.

  16. Coxforbrownlow says:

    hey community
thoughts on going finlayson to witherden / savage?

    cheers again community

  17. Dermin8r says:

Lekdog, thank you for talking me into Cripps at the start of the season, I had Zorko in my midfield and swapped him for Zorko before the season began and it has paid huge dividends. Cheers!

  18. Carl says:

Hold on gibs or move him on ?

  19. Trades says:

Bring in either Bont, Selwood, Merret using 1 trade.
    Bring in Cripps using 2
    Or
Wait until Crouch and Oliver drop in price?

    • seen_burns says:

Depends who your trading out for them, but I'd just wait for Crouch and Clarry

  20. Coxforbrownlow says:

    hey community
who to trade murray up to?
atm im thinking of going with a pod in witherden.

    cheers community

  21. Dice_real says:

Do Stuey Dew and Michael Barlow don't get along?
Leather poisoning in the neafl this year, couldn't get a game until last week.
Played up fwd 1st half before going on the ball and got a fair bit of it after half time.
Got named in the best……and now omitted. WTF DEW

    • Dildor says:

Its a future thing, they're never gonna win a premiership with Barlow, so why play him over someone that is the future.

      • Dice_real says:

Then why name him in the best?
The could be said for Kade Simpson and Carlton

    • Multi_ says:

Surely Aaron Hall is on that same shit list

    • Whatyasmokin says:

Who cares. Not supercoach relevant anymore unfortunately.

  22. Razors Edge says:

Go full coin for Macrae or cheapie in Zerrett? Got $780k to play with

    • seen_burns says:

Good options next week with Crouch and Oliver dropping in price, more value in them then a 600k+ Macrae who might average the same as them

      • Multi_ says:

I Agree with Seen ill be waiting for Crouch and Oliver

        • Razors Edge says:

I might go Crouch! Already got Oliver and the big 4 (Dusty, Danger, Fyfe, Titch)

  23. POTS says:

Is Buddy a trade or hold?
Can go anyone on any line up to $640K

  24. Beezneez says:

    Need some advice.

Mids are Danger, Martin, Tich, Fyfe Cripps, Coniglio, T Kelly and Holman (Higgins, Brayshaw and Barry)
Fwds are: Heeney, Billings, Gray, Sicily, D Smith and ZGL (Guelfi and Crowden).

Have done the projections and am looking at one of two options:
Option 1: R7 Brayshaw to Spargo and Billings to McLean
R8 Crowden and Barry to Mutch and Worpel
R9 Holman to Crouch/Oliver – may need small downgrade to effect this trade.

Option 2: R7 Brayshaw to Spargo
R8 Crowden to Mutch/Worpel and Holman to McLean

I need the downgrade to effect the Billings to McLean trade – should I just leave it at that and wait for Crouch if another opportunity presents. Down to 23 trades atm.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

    • NoLanguage says:

      Hey Beez,

I would pull the trigger on Billings now. He's just not producing what you need for a premo and doesn't look like it. Spargo looks a jet so don't mind option 1. I'll be grabbing him this week along with Merrett as a fence paint 🙂

      • Beezneez says:

Thanks NoLanguage. Yeah that's the way I had been leaning all week.

  25. Ando says:

Hey Community! Thoughts on loopholing this week?

    Danger into Titch or Gawn

    Titch into Gawn

Leaning towards the latter because Danger doesn't seem to be at his best…

  26. Gazza says:

Do I move Gibbs to macrae or hold Gibbs ?

  27. JugHead says:

Fritch and Higgins both confirmed starters

  28. JugHead says:

    Gaff as a POD anyone?
Scores this year of 92, 103, 123, 103, 128, 103. Not a stratospheric ceiling, but not bad either.
Priced at 552k, a little expensive for my taste, but if his price drops at some point I'll be jumping on him as a potential M8. Started the season at 512k. Should be in the general discussion of midfield PODs IMO.
Here's what I like about him:
    1.5% ownership.
    Hardly misses a game.
Priddis and Mitchell are not there to take points off him anymore.
    NicNat is back.
Has 150+ games under his belt now and is in his football prime.
Has a successful team around him.
