  1. Tyruddanaut says:

    Another week of carnage?

Unfortunately only 2 popular premium picks, Yeo and Macrae, hit the ton

Cookie cutter teams aren't going to last this year. Maybe we should change our tactics

    • Moustachio says:

How is 99 carnage? Do you really expect 120+ every week?

    • BlueNath says:

It's just the SC testing us. We need to stick to proven strategies and tactics if we want to be at the pointy end comes season end

    • TRIGGER HAPPY says:

Had an unusual quiet last term
      First time 4 the year
      99 as a bad score.
      Yeah I'll take that

Got him in this week, if that's the worst we get I'll be very pleased…

    • Derek says:

      Everyone has Dalh

    • Gjlane123 says:

Yeo tagged him and kept him low then got let loose for his 109 did his job well !

  2. Swannie says:

That's the trouble when you have more players from the one side, I don't have any doggies (mids) in my team, I only have Boyd in the ruck….

    • Hoota says:

That's crap pal. The three of them play on a different line. You have really missed out on not having a single dog.
I have Sloane, Laird, Jacobs and Otten and just traded out Hampton with Otten to go next week. Very comfortable with my team thanks very much.

  3. Temet Nosce says:

Our only bubble this week Mutimer is getting more of the ball every game, looked solid last night. Had he kicked straight it could have been a good sc result.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

I grabbed him this week. Was good against Port as well. Hopefully he can keep his place through the byes and make me some more cash.

    • INPieman says:

He's been serviceable in the last 2 games. I'm hoping he keeps his spot. But the way things are going he's getting dropped for sure

    • bUCKET__ says:

Cripps takes his spot as soon as he's fit

    • Stirlsy says:

Was very hard at it in the WAFL watched a couple of his games and he has Adjusted to the tempo well.

  4. Steeeve says:

First time all year I've VCd Bont.

      • Lincoln says:

Same Jock.Got him in this week too.Still got 99 on a poor week…got Yeo in as well…Danger C i reckon

        • Neverweaken says:

Was Bont or McCrae this week. Got Bont. McCrae after the bye. Got yes instead of McCrae 3 or 4 weeks ago so can't complain

    • Captain Risky says:

2nd time for me. last time he got 88! That makes 8 weeks with no VC score to loophole, although I'm not alone on that poor result. Still shagging on regardless :/

  5. TOPHAWK1 says:

Very pleased with the Yeo trade in. Started slowly, but came home like a runaway train.
Put the VC on him, but once again, it aint good enough to loophole. (109) So the VC rut rolls on to 8 straight games.

Hopefully Danger's ribs would have settled down after that knee from Roughie 3 weeks ago. I reckon he played with a hairline fracture in one of his ribs since and thus his slightly reduced output. That protective guard he was wearing would not have helped either. Rib injuries are extremely painful and can take weeks for the pain to subside. I think I will whack the C on him this week. I am hoping he will be back (or nearly) to his old self and build on that 110 he scored last week.

    • BockChoy says:

I'm in the same situation. What worries me is that I've passed on a number of similar VC scores only for my C to completely spud it. I think 120 would be a passable score for a C and now ask myself, do I risk a 109 for the sake of only 11 points?

Then again, the last time Rocky played the Hawks, he got 146.

    • INPieman says:

Pendles played the first 4 rounds last year with broken ribs. Soon as he recovered he went ape shit after many traded him. It's about 4 weeks now for Danger. Hoping he replicates Pendles

    • Stirlsy says:

Gee that's one area im firing in VC or C last weeks 128 from Bont is the lowest iv taken all year with a season high of 174

      • INPieman says:

I've have a shocker with captains this year. The only week I didn't have the Vc or C on Gary was the 210 week. Makes a huge differnwce when you get it right

        • Derek says:

          Have you tried Eddy

        • Stirlsy says:

Well im going the Doc this week as my VC Pieman, had it on Bont in the lead up but switched just b4 game started last nite, Doc is Due for a 130 + game should see plenty of it against Stk.
Danger should be over the ribs and the Bombers will be a tired lot coming off a hard run and it was 30 in Perth last weekend expect him to run riot in 2nd half
. So if The Doc fails the C goes to Danger
Sloane was an option but the Vince tag might go to him tonite.

    • BockChoy says:

Pleased I put the C on Rocky!!! Less pleased with his shoulder popping out in the dying minutes. πŸ™

  6. richard says:

Another disgraceful exhibition of goal kicking last night WB v WC.It's been going on for years and nobody at these clubs give a shit.
I feel sorry for the young bucks today watching this sub standard facet of the game that missed out on the greats Locket,Dunstall,Mckenna,
    Wade etc.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

I agree. Sometimes I also wonder if enough time/resources are spent on goal kicking. I know there is a lot of pressure during match time to kick straight, but gee whiz the amount of straight forward misses are staggering. It is probably the only facet of the game which has not improved over time. (May have gone backwards)

Forward line coaches should adjust the width of the goal posts during training. Perhaps halve the width from 6.4 metres to 3.2 metres. It would obviously make it harder to kick goals and force players to concentrate harder to kick truely. Then come match day, players will think the goals are as wide as the Flemington straight after training in and refining their skills in much more difficult conditions.

    • Fatso says:

It is the only aspect of our great game that hasn't improved. Surely it is mental thus a decent psychologist should do the trick because generally, the field kicking is fine.

    • Dogs says:

I read something a while ago that the sports scientists are to blame for poor goal kicking, every meter ran and every kick gets recorded at training, and they're only allowed a certain number of kicks per training session. Back in the days the greats would be on the ground for hours just having shots on goal, but now they get told they can only have 10-15 shots and not allowed to kick anymore.

    • INPieman says:

Try being a Collingwood supporter. They are atrocious at goal kicking & have been for a very long time. Only team in recent times that's been go at it is the Hawks

    • Temet Nosce says:

In fairness to today's boys they cover a lot more ground. I suspect the "greats" accuracy would drift if they had just run a couple of km before taking a set shot from 50m.

      • richard says:

50m shots i can accept but when their 30-40 m out directly in front set shot no excuse

        • DavidSA says:

We mostly have athletes not footballers
Think of the great footy minds of 15 years ago and beyond….

These days it's about beep tests, 20 mtr timed acceleration speeds, reach, pinch tests, standing jump ect ect ect. Awesome for identifying ability but you cannot measure a football brain

    • Notorious mac says:

Richard maybe you could offer your elite goal kicking skills and knowledge to a few clubs

      • DavidSA says:

yeah a player runs 80 mtrs @90% of his best sprint speed marks the ball gets limited time to take his shot and may have to deal with a breeze that you can't feel on ground level due to stadium heights and entry points.

30-40 mtrs straight in front is NOT straight forward period!

        • Notorious mac says:

Very true. But all these armchair critics who probably struggled to get a kick at local footy would do so much better

    • Tony says:

Bulldogs just won the flag. I suggest that's why they don't give a shit.

    • Top Gun says:

Agree that the greats were fantastic kicks for goal but many of them were one out not three players on them like now and got their goals from about 20-30m out. Now it is more tactical with spare players behind the ball.

      • richard says:

Brilliant exhibition of goal kicking by the cats last night.Set shots that sprayed left and right of the main sticks even Motlo[ps shot in the last qtr looked like he never kicked a footy before.Even Chris Scott said it was woeful. And we pay good money each week and these so called footballers get 100's of 1000's each year do dish this crap up.

    • Jones says:

100 percent heard that one of the main reason for poor kicking is that the footy boots these days have a plastic finish on them that decreases the grip when the ball is kicked. In years gone bye the football boots were leather and combined with the laces produced better connection with the ball therfore much more accuracy.

  7. Flubber says:

Who do you think will average more over the rest of the season?

  8. Rabbits17 says:

is it too risky to trade in T Adams now? Have to make a decision before the brisbane lions game…..

    • Flubber says:

who are you trading out for it?

    • CoachDamo says:

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Beams out for Adams – let's hope he's not a late out!

    • Eidemick says:

As Adams injured his hand during training this week. Thar was enough for me to hold off another week in case it is serious

      • Rabbits17 says:

yeh thats what i was thinking yet i cant find any details on what the injury is

    • Steve says:

That's a call you have to make, scoring was never going to be an issue but he's never played more than 18 games in a season…are you confident that this year will be his first?

  9. 3121 says:

Got Yeo in very hesitant but happy with the selection. No more games at the mcg for the eagles so that helps

  10. Kev says:

Starting to think the only way for Yeo to start scoring 70's again is for me to trade him in. The premo's I trade in from week to week have a fantastic record of turning into complete spuds

  11. tom says:

Rance who suits my bye structure or Lloyd whom I believe will be more consistent and has a higher ceiling.

  12. Joshua says:

    Thinking Docherty C over Danger.

  13. BockChoy says:

The key question is the Pendlebury baby watch!

    • Brett H says:

Yep – has anyone got an update on Pendles becoming a dad?

Want to trade him in today – now very cheap, and with a BE of 90.

Only year that I haven't started with him, and have regretted it most weeks.

Got sucked in by Treloar having a full preseason, and also having such a strong finish last year.

      • Rabbits17 says:

nothing on his missus instagram account

      • Liam says:

Going off some of Alex's instagram posts she is about 38 weeks. First babies typically go late so i reckon we are good to around 40 weeks

    • Vamose says:

      Her water just broke!!!!!!
      Nah, just kidding

    • FCAbel says:

Swanny will be all over it. He's very excited about having a little one.

  14. The Guvna says:

Was thinking of bringing in Dusty but his grammar Trent Cotchin has entered the convo. Obviously a big POD, but seems to be scoring well with the added help in the midfield for the Tigers.

More consistent and could potentially average more than Dusty, who's the better choice?

    • Jason says:

Im looking at Dusty for next week . Has a BE of 124 , shouldnt go up much more than his current price of $519,300 if he beats the BE . I think Richmond have a pretty good run home according to CD .

    • Neverweaken says:

Keep looking at Cotchin. Doesn't seem to have bad games. On my watch list

  15. The Coach says:

I traded Treloar for Yeo. At half-time I was digging my own coffin.

But in typical Yeo-Yo fashion, he bounced back (see what happens when the coach doesn't make him tag Bont?).

This might be the season-defining trade.

    • Carl says:

Hopefully Simpson learns from that and tries to leave Yeo floating across half back. Takes intercept marks for fun when he is πŸ™‚

  16. Mark says:

    Pendles or danger as captain?

  17. James says:

Just wondering what a 'cookie cutter' team refers to?

    • Temet Nosce says:

Cookie cutter, Just google herald sun how to pick a super coach team in five minutes. Result = a team that looks and smells just like everyone else's.

    • Kim says:

It means a lot of people had very similar teams at the start of the season. Doesn't really matter too much as injuries and trades make people's teams different mid season in particular.

    • Babo says:

Cookies (players you select) are cut from a dough (range of all players). Rather than choose your own shape, one can use a pre made stencil such as a circle or star shape (most commonly picked players from online sources) to make their tray of 30 delicious cookies.
(Last part sounds a bit weird)

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

A team which is devoid of POD players. POD players are those which low ownership rates.

  18. Don't Blush Baby says:

Wanting to loop Newman into Marchbank and Stewart , but worried Newman might be a late in. Think I will just leave March on field with the E on Stewart

  19. Bobby says:

Who's everyone putting the C on this week?

    • Temet Nosce says:

Danger again, I know the moment I change the gods will bite

    • neil demons delight says:

    • RickeyRat says:

I went Rocky as VC so take the 147,i had Zerret as C just in case not l going Danger or Pendles again this year will look at my backs Laird or Doc both so consistent.

  20. Chris_Judd says:

Had the Bont as VC, weighing up who I should put the C on. I'm tossing up between Titch or Danger, thoughts?

  21. Jeff says:

VCd YEO but goin Sloane. Should tear Melb apart at home. Thoughts?

    • INPieman says:

      Can't argue with that

    • Stirlsy says:

Tossing up between Sloane and Danger if Doc fails.
The worry on Sloane is the tag for mine and im leaning towards Danger because of that, but Sloane at home is hard to stop.

    • Tibor says:

  22. Neverweaken says:

Thinking Murphy for captain. Fyfe keeps spudding it. Or Selwood but is he fully fit

  23. gator59 says:

Which 2 to start on ground.. Barret, Berry or Fisher.. thoughts please

  24. neil demons delight says:

Ebert looks the goods after his bye was a burnman for me like wingard and yeo

    • DavidSA says:

      It hurts mate I know
I had Ebert and Dixon last year and they burnt me now this year they are flying

  25. cashcows says:

Take Mutimer's 53 or roll dice with Fisher? Also fielding Barrett.

    • Marcus says:

      I'd take that 100%

    • Alun says:

I'm in a similar boat Mutimers 53 or go with Barrett?

    • Luskin star says:

Im in same situation. Have decided to roll the dice and start fisher. . If someone asked me pre-season would i be happy with 53 from my M8 i'd of said no so not going to settle for that

  26. Dice says:

Enjoy the Yeo ride all year suckers! As soon as he gets a tiny bit of attention, back under 70

    • DavidSA says:

I don't have him but even so your call is a big one

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

I think it is Yeo handing out the attention….Didn't he tag the Bont for the best of 3 quarters last night? Still tonned up and the Bont didn't get there. Not bad for a tagger.

      • Liam says:

Not sure he tagged him but was on him when ever Bont went forward. If Yeo was a bit cleaner last night he was looking at 130 plus.

      • Babo says:

Bont dominted with the Yeo tag then Yeo changed his system in the 2nd half.

Bont just was a bit lazy in the 4th. Didnt maximise opportunity. Waited for the ball more than usual.

Yeo got his ton from being loose in def… intercept marks, clearance kicks to no man's land etc… CD love him.

He will join my team after rd 12. Similarly priced i hope.

    • Top Gun says:

Loved the way he took contested marks in defence which equates to big points. The advantage of playing multiple positions means he will be quiet some of the game then unleash the rest of the time.

  27. redgumwon says:

Is Treloar only going to be 1 week or more? Looking to hold if it's only one week. If not I'll trade Treloar for Rocky

    • redgumwon says:

Just heard a whisper that Treloar may have groin problems like he had before at GWS. The official line out of Collingwood is it's an ankle. Time to move Treloar on I think

    • Babo says:

I'm holding for now… can't afford to sideways yet.

      • redgumwon says:

I just got burnt Treloar into Rocky. Sums up my whole year πŸ™

  28. DefyingMadness says:

Berry, Hampton or Barret on field?

  29. Nick says:

    C on Danger or Sloane?

  30. JMac says:

    2 questions
    1. Is heeney the real deal? or will his summer lovin sickness come back and bite him again.
    2. Good downgrade target for Jaeger (yep- still have him!)

  31. Fexz says:

Should I get Heeney or Wingard?

    • redgumwon says:

Heeney I think. Wingard may play more forward again after the bye

  32. CoachDamo says:

Need a league win – have to trade out either Beams or Treloar. I'm thinking Beams – am I right?

    • Joshua says:

Hard one, both could be back next week but both could still be carrying the aftereffects. I'm thinking trade out Treloar as Beams scored much better than Adam before the quad.

    • DefyingMadness says:

Trade out Beams I did. Treloar is an ultra premo and Beams has a history with injuries.

  33. Joshua says:

C has officially left Danger for Doc. Plz don't blow up in my face.

  34. TOPHAWK1 says:

Jarrod Berry! You star! 35 SC at quarter time. Keep going son!

    • Don't Blush Baby says:

Yes keep it up and I'll loop you with Treloar and Pepper ,just gotta keep an eye the Pies game which starts at 4.35

    • hedski says:

Sweet he was my other trade in for Hampton, bloody Newman better not be a late call up now he's my loop.

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

Berry sitting on the bench with the E on him. Hopefully an 80 odd from Berry today. Looks like Mitch Hibberd my loophole slave will get some field time in the backline. Stewart can move off the field and onto the bench.

  35. Don't Blush Baby says:

Have confidence mate in your trades

  36. pod says:

Quarter time Saints vs Blues.. Well done to all coaches that traded in Steven, and also those who have the C on the Doch.

    • DavidSA says:

Amazes me no one gives the Doch some rough treatment or a tag

    • Kev says:

Those who have Kruezer and Murphy need congratulating too. Bloody Kruezer has towelled up every ruck he's come across including max, I might have to get him after round 11

      • pod says:

Kruezer has gone to another level, just worried about his injury prone history. His price will skyrocket if he keeps this up, might have to do the same and grab him sooner rather than later.

        • DavidSA says:

Credit needs to go to Wombats
Put his plums out on chopping block long b4 R1

  37. TOPHAWK1 says:

Bloody ridiculous. He belongs in the backline. A turd this size could have been avoided if it wasn't for some bizarre coaching. Not impressed.

    • INPieman says:

Looks like they just moved him back. He was lost in the forward line

  38. Wal says:

Everything is turning shite atm, thinking I need a captain differential, Adams not the craziest idea in the world?

  39. hedski says:

Traded him a couple weeks ago.

  40. Kev says:

StNick poohing his pants AGAIN! I doubt he'll finish as a top 10 fwd trade him this week if you still have him

  41. Kev says:

Ridiculous comment to make early in the first qrtr. you're a joke mate

  42. Joshua says:

Blues doing really well, should be in front. C Doc leading the way.

  43. Stirlsy says:

Nothing on here in WA free to air, WAFL game about to start Dockers 2s so ill look at that and listen to stk v car.
Doc going ok a bit quite that qtr so cheer harder while you drink Hedski…

  44. Saundo says:

VC on Zerrett, Danger, Selwood or Eddie Betts?

  45. Kev says:

Billings finally starting to look like he belongs in AFL might be a sneaky gap filler during the byes. Roberton seems to be struggling with a soft tag and I'm sure other AFL coaches will take note of that, I'll be delaying getting him until after the byes. StNick to TMitch or Rocky this week I reckon

  46. DefyingMadness says:

Who comes off Taranto or SPP to take Berrys score? Thoughts appreciated

  47. TOPHAWK1 says:

Rocky has dislocated his shoulder. WOW

    • SCdonkey says:

As harsh as it may be. I was waiting on when it was gonna happen, the guy has burnt me 3 years in a row. Totally stayed away from him this year.

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

I dont have Rocky and this is why. BRILLIANT PLAYER, but always seems to break down at some point. Every year it happens. Some coaches will be shattered after this. Be interesting to see how many weeks he he will miss.

        • Dogs says:

I've been burnt by him many years, great player to have when he's firing, but he never plays a full season, either injury or suspension.

    • Kev says:

      Dam. TMitch or Cripps maybe

    • Russty_ says:

Up to 3 months out, ala Joel Smith..bummer for Rocky owners, especially if they brought him in this week!

  48. Luke says:

Take Barretts score or play parsons?

    • INPieman says:

The way rookies are going I'd take it. And can't forget the 19 last week

  49. DefyingMadness says:

There is no way McEvoy is actually a legitimate pick. Surely not right?

  50. DavidSA says:

I said it before and I will say it again I will not start with nor bring in glass boys

Rocky, JOM, D.Swallow and Murphy are peanut brittle

  51. Russty_ says:

Ballsy…with a little bit of crazy thrown in, hope he stays for the whole game for ya.

    • SCdonkey says:

So do I Russ. So do I…!!! Hope the missus holds up for the next 2 hours. I just have a feeling he'll go huge today.

  52. Kev says:

Steele could be the best value pick of the year. I'd hate to be one of the poor coaches who traded him out or didn't start with him.

    • DavidSA says:

well he was named as a villain last week can u believe it!

Guy is a great F6 all year long

      • Holty says:

Agreed. I always new he was a gun. Started him last year as well but hard to break in to that GWS side. Although burnt me last year, i was never going to not pick him this year.

    • hedski says:

Picked Roughy over him Kev, got rid of Roughy now he's coming good!!!

      • Dogs says:

I started roughy too, traded him fairly early for yeo and about $40k extra. Just hoping the burns don't repeat from last year.

      • Russty_ says:

Same here hedski..oh well, dem's the breaks.

    • DefyingMadness says:

I am pretty happy I didn't start with Steele,so I don't know why you would think that. Had so many meh games

  53. Holty says:

Patty Cripps you absolute star. Ive only been waiting 8 rounds for this but it has been worth the wait

    • hedski says:

Not sure what his be was but I'll be looking at him next week Holty.

    • Russty_ says:

He sure is a gun…wonder how much he'll go up by next week?

    • pod says:

Same Holty, it was only a matter of time.

    • Northernsoul74 says:

Same here. Annoying that in my league I must be playing one of the only other people to have him.

  54. Bobby says:

How many weeks will Rocky miss?

    • Russty_ says:

He could be out for several months depending on how serious the dislocation is, and if he needs surgery or not.
You'll need to trade him out regardless.

  55. Chief says:

Take Barrett 60 points or roll the dice on Powell Pepper in China?

  56. Dogs says:

Thank you captain titch, showing the rest of my so called premium midfield how it's done.

  57. TOPHAWK1 says:

Woohooo! Well done mate. Yeo just did not make it for me this week. Over to you Danger. Dont screw it up.

  58. John says:

who for Captain guys please, can't decide

    Fyfe, Danger, Selwood or JPK

  59. Joshua says:

I'm taking Berry's score and leaving Stewart on the bench. Take Barrett's score or go SPP?

  60. Andy says:

lol, who's a good replacement for Rockliff?

  61. Alex says:

Had VC on J Steven (111) take it or chuck the C on Fyfe/Buddy/Danger /JPK/Hanners?

  62. INPieman says:

Steele Sidebottom take a bow sir. What a goal!

    • Russty_ says:

Looks like Steele might've finally pulled his head out of the side of his bum

  63. Ja191 says:

Takes smurphs 108 or c Zerrett/danger (thinking zerrett)

  64. John says:

Should i take jack stevens 110?

    • Russty_ says:

I don't know, maybe if the rest of your team's travelling ok. Who's your captain choice?

  65. SirSamuel016 says:

Had VC on TMitch (135). Do I take this or keep the C on Danger and hope he outscores that?

    • Tommo says:

      Take the 135 big fella

    • Russty_ says:

      Take that anyday Sir

    • Juzzy says:

      Agree. Take it Mate.

    • SCdonkey says:

      Take the punt on Danger!?!?!#@!

Seriously though, every week i see people asking whether they should take their VC pick score or not. For goodness sake people, you should be setting youself a score that you'll be happy with.

I always set myself for 130+ from my VC 125 may be the borderline. Anything below I'd take a punt on my C for the week.

      • Russty_ says:

There are many people out there unsure of their own decision making..not sure why, Supercoach requires constant decision making, for 6 months.

I consider that part of the fun and challenge of it….as opposed to constantly asking other people what to do.

      • SirSamuel016 says:

I have 130+ set, but I had to ask because it's Danger.

        • JohndJames says:

Take the 135,not sure about Danger at the moment and I'm worried since I do have the C on Danger, had the VC on Bont and he didn't come to the party in the second half of his game

  66. Daniel says:

Thoughts community on Otten to Rance? already flicked Hampton to Berry as well

  67. Juzzy says:

    Had Rocky from the start.

Knew I should't have checked his massive 3/4 time VC score and got all happy.

The SC Gods saw and decreed " Oy … None of that being happy with your team stuff this year …"

  68. Finnius123 says:

C on Docherty!!!! Yeah the boys

  69. DavidSA says:

    Me VC going off!

  70. Ja191 says:

If anyone is struggling with the afl live app or needs a stream check out Stream all my games from them, their great.

  71. Juzzy says:

    Your timing seems impeccable David.

  72. DefyingMadness says:

Happy Taranto is showing his worth however my opponent has Kelly…

  73. Neverweaken says:

Kelly going mental. WHE scoring. Taranto E for Treloar going well. Good times this weekend. Even murph as captain I'm happy with. Steele did well.
Of course SuperCoach Sunday shall strike again

  74. jimmy says:

    who for captain

    JPK Fyfe Danger or Selwood

  75. INPieman says:

Not happy with the 9mil offer. Wants more

  76. hedski says:

Has Pendles just done a runner??
    Listening on radio.
    Nope he's back.

  77. Tom says:

Keep a Marchbanks score or go Stewart?

  78. Joshua says:

Will be taking Taranto's score over Parsons. 53 at HT

  79. Powerage says:

Zerrett, Danger or Selwood as C

  80. Russty_ says:

There'd be no point in him leaving early regardless, he still wouldn't get there in time.

  81. Stirlsy says:

    Attention Pieman Luke Ryans stats… D K HB M T HO I50 G B DT
    RYAN, L 241951310201111
He looked good and had a great smother in the last when the other team were coming at them after kicking 3 str8 to open last he smothered off the boot taking it in same action and pumping it into his own 50.
One of Peels best will be in top 5 on ground.

    • Stirlsy says:

      23 disposals 19 kicks 5 handballs 13 marks 1 tackle 0 hitouts 2 inside 50s 0 goals 1 behind 111 DT points

    • hedski says:

Cheers Stirlsy, now come to the party Ross and give him a game f ya.

  82. DefyingMadness says:

Are Heaters days behind him now?

  83. DacZawson says:

Getting your VC pick right is one of the most rewarding aspects of Supercoach.
    Thankyou Patrick Cripps

    • Mick says:

As you're the expert VC on Merrett or Danger or Joel Selwood?

      • DacZawson says:

Selwood had a dodgy ankle so I reckon it's out of Merrett and Danger, I'd go Danger for the higher ceiling.

    • Russty_ says:

I just passed your message onto Patrick Cripps and he said "You're welcome DacZawson" πŸ™‚

  84. Tim says:

Keep Marchbanks score or go Stewart?

  85. Russty_ says:

Starting to look like Pendles should've just stayed at the Hospital today…other things on his mind by the looks.

    • Tyruddanaut says:

I want to trade him out next week honestly. He'll only get worse from here with the kidlet coming around

      • Russty_ says:

True that mate, I blundered by bringing him in 2 weeks ago too, love to go Pendles to Cripps or maybe Kelly, Mitchell…anyone else!

  86. johnno2908 says:

Sure am glad I bought pendles in 2 weeks ago…

  87. Liam says:

    I'm furious

  88. Joshua says:

Shaw and Pendles don't even hit the 80 mark, started with both.

    • Derek says:

Shaw didn't touch it in last quarter. He was running with someone to shut them down. Pity he was 83 at 3/4 time and was looking like 100+. I brought him in as well

      • Andy says:

Brought him in instead of Rance, not shaw if that was the best move.

  89. hedski says:

Bloody communists at it again Russ? Lol, didn't see your comments, guess its about the pies tho.
Sry just rechecked deleted by user. Ha ha.

    • Russty_ says:

It was a moot point after Stevie J ruined the Party mate haha, about GWS being over rated and all that…

      • hedski says:

Yeah just got a pic from my pies mate, was a dick with sunnies and a leather jacket "f#ck Stevie j". Ha.

        • Russty_ says:

Pies fans must be heartbroken after that cheapass seagull goal at the end.

  90. INPieman says:

Pendles is no longer SC relevant. Eventually every player hits the wall. And bloody hell did it happen fast with Pendles. No pace. Can't escape from congestion anymore. He is DONE!

    • Russty_ says:

Not to mention many many sleepless nights to more funtime with the missus lol

    • DefyingMadness says:

      Same as Shaw

      • INPieman says:

Exactly. Shaw & Pendles no longer relevant. Out with the old in with the new

        • Russty_ says:

I actually can't believe I traded him in, knowing he was just about to become a dad, what was I thinking?…Brain Fade!

  91. George says:

When's the earliest Rockliff will be back?

    • Russty_ says:

If it's a proper dislocated shoulder, months George….2 to 3

    • Juzzy says:

Buggered if I know. Seem to have misplaced my medical degree …

Sorry Mate. Your guess is as good as mine. Let's wait for the doctors report with fingers crossed.

  92. TOPHAWK1 says:

Pendles did not even make his break even! Not focused because of the bub situation. Next week coaches trading in Pendlebury will be stealing candies from a baby! That's how cheap he will be.

    • Russty_ says:

Very ordinary effort today, if he'd tried 5% harder, Pies would've won, wish I could trade him straight out but have too many other pressing issues.

  93. Russty_ says:

Half the Cats side hasn't scored a point yet, Touhy and Danger are in negative points.

    • JohndJames says:

Parsons 0 outscoring Danger 2-,maybe I should have taken Bonts 99.

      • Joshua says:

Hahaha, lucky I put the C on Doc. How is Kelly doing? I'm out right now can't watch the game until like halfway through the second

      • Russty_ says:

I changed the C from Danger to Buddy at the last second John, hope that works out, still hope Danger goes well, but Buddy better lol

        • JohndJames says:

At the moment you are way ahead, without Buddy even playing yet,I was so close to just taking Bonts 99 then I thought that would be silly, but I was still worried, looks like I was for a reason.

    • Tyruddanaut says:

When you play it safe with Danger and Bont as VC/C πŸ™

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Early days for Danger. Will work into the game.

      • Russty_ says:

Bloody hope so Hawk, My Team's looking like Joe Average so far this week.

  94. JohndJames says:

Not sure how Hannan stays in the Dees team, yet to touch the ball.

  95. hedski says:

    Bombers are smashing us.

  96. Ja191 says:

C on zerrett, keep going lad

    • Captain Risky says:

It's a cruel game. I had the C on Merrett , decided last minute to go Danger. That sucks!

At least I have Zerrett, bloody gun!

    • DefyingMadness says:

Same here I have the captain on him also

  97. Tommo09 says:

    This week looked promising

Yeah it's gonna be another long week

    • Russty_ says:

      I hear ya…prediction was initially 2176…now at about 2050…wahoo!

  98. Russty_ says:

Can Parsons beat his 19 from last week?….what a gun!..on 10 points at half time.
Should make us huge money this year…huge!

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

We are going to roll in the cash Rusty! More like rolling in soiled toilet paper. I have Parsons and he is really becoming a skid mark in my side.

    • Liam says:

Put the C on him right before the bounce, so happy.

  99. gator59 says:

    Go the little Zerrett..

    • Northernsoul74 says:

Beams to Zerrett trade looking good so far. About the way boy thing that's gone right this season.

  100. TOPHAWK1 says:

    Gee Whiz.

Hannan is going realy really well. NOT.

Right now, he would have to be the #1 "rookie" burnman of the season. I feel sorry for coaches who have this pri-ck on the field tonight.

    • tom says:

I've had him onfield since Eddy got dropped.

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

You need to fix your rookies in your forward line. And fast!

      • Russty_ says:

You need to get a guy like that,( who has a balls full of blood score of 96 in his first game)…off your field asap as soon as you realize everything after that is heading to shitsville tom.
He scored 96, and then 5 big piles of crap.

    • JohndJames says:

At least that was one rookie disaster that I missed, already had enough,so there wasn't any room.

    • Captain Risky says:

Going at 100% efficiency at least…. Yes, It could be worse!

  101. DefyingMadness says:

Kept both Otten and Hampton. They are going alright so far not sure how I should feel. At least Hampton won't lose much

    • JohndJames says:

I also kept them, had other fish to fry,but with the intention of trading them both out next week.

  102. TOPHAWK1 says:

    Andy Otten.

I hate to have to say this, but you are done. I need the cash.

Thank you for your superb rookie efforts this year and adding nice $ value to my side.

Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours at the Adelaide Football Club.

    • Russty_ says:

Give him another half HAWK, and if he doesn't get to 75 or 80, I'd understand your amicable parting of ways, otherwise, give the big old bastard another chance, then you could get rid of Pendles for someone who'll be able to sleep for the next 2 years πŸ™‚

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

I don't have Pendles Rusty. I will sleep soundly tonight!

        • Russty_ says:

          Lucky Hawky bastard!

        • SCdonkey says:

Meh. I took the gamble putting C on Pendle a gamble i will never do again. Hannan has to go for McInnes and Myers this week and now i have to see if can get enough to get a premo, if not might have to get both McInnes and Myers if they are named next game.

  103. Joshua says:

Laird and Doc are doing better than most of my mids

  104. Holty says:

Wow, Geelong right now are absolutely embarrassing. Have they forgotten how to defend. 58-17 is the tackle count. Half way through the 3rd quarter and they only have 1 player with more then 2 tackles.

    • Russty_ says:

I thought Geelong were contenders this year, but they've proved to be extremely unreliable so far, don't rate em at all now.

  105. Joshua says:

When is Joel smith back? Still have him hahaha.

    • Tibor says:

Yeah me too, I hear he caught a good size Murray cod this week not sure how many points he gets for that

  106. Russty_ says:

Melbourne taking it up to Adelaide!…go you good things….good to see !

    • JohndJames says:

Do I dare to dream,I was expecting a six goal lose.

      • Russty_ says:

Believe John, especially after that Oliver goalllllllllllllll

      • Russty_ says:

Dare to dream indeed John, your team is gonna beat the premiership favourites !

    • neil demons delight says:

do we need maxy Pederson doing ok

      • Russty_ says:

I'm sure he'll slot straight back in, Neil, when he's ready to come back, Pederson was only ever a fill in for the interim. Might not have ever got another game if not for the dire Ruck circumstances at Melbourne.

        • Daniel says:

Gawn is still out for a couple… Hope Pederson can keep this up, at least through the bye rounds.

  107. Cold_Case says:

Danger set for 3 figures now

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Danger worked into the game. Coaches were freaking out and calling for his head in the first quarter. BANG 110 is OK.

    • Captain Risky says:

Not a bad night after all, Danger OK, Zerrett and Oliver did good.

    • Russty_ says:

Especially after he was -2 after one quarter.

  108. DefyingMadness says:

    Zerret stopped

    • Russty_ says:

133 not enough for ya? πŸ™‚

      • DefyingMadness says:

Yeah it's good but I have him captain so can't I be greedy?

        • Russty_ says:

Good night for ya mate..well done with your C choice.

          • DefyingMadness says:

Thanks mate. He could have gotten more also got like 20 DT points in the last 30 seconds and lost 1 SC. The kids a gun and will be a star in the coming years for sure

  109. JohndJames says:

Maybe I should have put the C on Oliver.

    • Russty_ says:

111's not terrible though John, go Dees!

      • JohndJames says:

Yes I'll take that, still can't believe we are beating the Crows on their home deck, just about makes up for last week.

        • Russty_ says:

Celebration time John!…your guys are good!, and Adelaide aren't as good as they thought they were…:)

    • neil demons delight says:

think he is the real deal and petracca

    • Tibor says:

390k this bloke started at, Wow wee oh boy

  110. Russty_ says:

My shark boy did ok tonight, can anyone guess who my sharkboy is? πŸ™‚

  111. Kyle says:

Zerrett over the bont this week looked good. Shame il be doing a straight swap of rocky to bont this week probably :'(

Atleast i had rocky from the start and he gave me some monster captain scores while i had him

    • Russty_ says:

Just move captain glass-shoulders out mate, no emotional attachments…bigger and better things will come. πŸ™‚

  112. Joshua says:

Picked up Hanners on the cheap instead of Mitchell, Oliver or Crippa a few weeks ago. Please go big tomorrow Hanners.

    • JohndJames says:

Hanners has been alright,he's on my watchlist for one of my last mid spots, last three rounds have been nice and consistent.

  113. Holty says:

Hmmmm, could Jacobs possibly be the most over rated ruck in the comp. Or at least the worst tap ruckman for hitouts to advantage? How on earth do you get 76 hitouts and still lose the clearances?

  114. Derek says:

Why do bad scores happen to good people?

  115. Ja191 says:

Well sloane's gonna be tagged for the rest of the year, that should be interesting

  116. DefyingMadness says:

What do we think par will be. I am on 1444 with 8 players to go, my first decent week in ages

    • Kyle says:

My maths is bad lol im projected at 2000 exact with strndica as captain…vc on rocky and sandi on bench. Il be happy with 2200 this week

    • Russty_ says:

I think you'll get a very good score this week, defyingmadness.

  117. JohndJames says:

Laird and T.Mitchell in for Otten and Hampton next week.

    • DefyingMadness says:

How much cash do ya reckon they will bleed?

      • JohndJames says:

We've made just under 400k between the two of them,so I'm very happy with that, but it's time to let them go,their BE was around 90 each this week,so it should be fairly high next week after they both scored in the 50s.tonight,time for a downgrade or upgrade depending on peoples needs.

        • DefyingMadness says:

Oh yeah I am trading them out for sure, was just wondering how much they will bleed so I can look at who I want to trade in

    • Joshua says:

    • Kyle says:

      Bang bang! Like it mate

    • Derek says:

      Better late than never

    • Russty_ says:

If you can afford those two…for those two John, this week, you'll strengthen your side considerably.

      • JohndJames says:

Money in the bank, just waiting to be used,I've downgraded five out of the last six trades,so time to have a bit of fun.

  118. Jambak says:

Is Oliver the real deal? Can he be expected to churn out a 112+ average for the rest of the season?

    • Russty_ says:

Just clicked on his name and….he's averaging 110 after 8 games so what do you think?…glad I got his red headed ass in 3 weeks ago…of course he's the real deal!

      • Swans2012 says:

Seems to be….but who knows this year

        • Russty_ says:

He's proved himself 8 out of 8 rounds, I'll take that, what more does it take to convince you?…sheesh

          • Daniel says:

If he can back it up round 9, should be a good trade in target. πŸ˜‰

          • Swans2012 says:

Nah rusty he is a jet. I'm just bitter I don't have him and hoping he crashes and burns lol

    • Juzzy says:

Been very hesitant on him Jambak. Only a kid in his second season.

Then again I kept thinking the same about Merret last year and it bit me in the ass.

Russ is right. The stats don't lie.

    • JohndJames says:

Had Oliver from go,can't believe people still doubt him,he's better than a lot of so called premos.

      • Tony says:

Yeah, me too. After his JLT form, he was too good to leave out at the price.

I did dump Mark Murphy for him pre-season though, so it's not all good.

    • Russty_ says:

Sometimes, you just have to believe your own eyes, and not listen to anyone else…the kid attacks the ball like a bull. He'll be a good player for many years.

      • Derek says:

He has some hard nuts around him that helps.

        • Russty_ says:

True Derek, and good on them, cause they were dog's nuts about a year ago. couldn't even buy a win. Good on them for smoking Adelaide today.

    • Tibor says:

Started at 390 k, churned out six straight 100+ games then a ninety something in round seven followed by this weeks outstanding performance. From the start he was doubted, when Gawn fell over he was written off, when Spencer crumbled he was buried, Melbourne now runs no ruckmen at all and lost the hit outs by fifty yes fifty against Adelaide and he is still a star, he was a bargain buy at 390 and he will still be good value if you pick him up at 600. What will he be capable of once last years all Australian ruck returns.

      • JohndJames says:

Well said Tibor, had Clarry from the start, when I put up my team, people said it looked alright, but why have you got Oliver in there for,I said he would get more game time this year and the times he did play last year he was a gun and at 382,500 he would make a good M8 well at the moment he's my M3.

        • Russty_ says:

Great call starting with him John, I brought him in for 503 k, but very happy with him staying in, especially after last night's effort πŸ™‚

          • JohndJames says:

Yes I stuck with him, everyone was telling me to get JOM,Swallow and Beams instead,I did get Beams, but not at the expense of Clarry.

  119. Russty_ says:

Hampton and Otten, do have to go this week, if there are not anymore pressing issues, both maxed out on generation, and spudding it on points, they're only gonna be like a dragging anchor in a sailing race from now on.

    • JohndJames says:

Trading them out this coming week was always my plan Russty but was hoping they might have done a bit better,so that at least I had to think about it.

    • Dogs says:

Got Hampton out this week, often turns into doch next week

  120. Kyle says:

Is myers really a must have next week? I wanna go rocky to bont and houston to stef martin, swinging nank up forward. Means i miss myers tho…hmmm

    • Russty_ says:

Certainly not mate…with scores of 44 and 58, hardly a must have. Try a fallen premo, or left field choice if possible.

      • Kyle says:

At this stage im gonna bring in bont for rocky, then last 2 spots are going to selwood and sloane. Selwood aceraging about 80 last 3 weeks. Sloanes last 2 games are sub 100. Both gonna be absolute bargains in a few weeks. Will mean my mids will be: danger zerrett bont sloane selwood hanners pendles and Fyfe.

    • Holty says:

Only reason im getting him is bcos there really is not many more options. I feel his js is good though so he does bring a warm body to the bench.

    • Juzzy says:

As insane as this sounds I am contemplating Rocky down to Myers.

My mids are stacked with some loopholey bench cover.

Might be a good time to get a jump on the bye rounds with some decision making cash.

Like your plan though and if you miss Myers I don't think it's gonna hurt you.

  121. Finnius123 says:

Projections everyone? I'm heading for about 2150 at this stage

    • Iamme says:

      likewise, 2154

    • Russty_ says:

Not looking too good for me, only about 2100.

    • Dogs says:

2140 at the moment, that's with Hannan on field, and Selwood, pendles, shaw getting mid 70's.

    • JohndJames says:

After last week anything over 2000 will do me.

    • Kyle says:

Around 2200 at this stage. Sundays are never nice to us tho so could be anything by the end of tomorrow..

    • Tommo09 says:

      2040 for me

    • Captain Risky says:

2230 still. Pretty happy with last nights haul- just 4 in play, Captain on the wrong bloke though- Danger (C) 112, Zerrett 137, Laird 124 & Oliver 142 got me back on track. Probably will go pear shaped again today..

  122. DavidSA says:

1400 after 13 with VC loop Kelly

  123. Juzzy says:

    Stewart (Bombers) looked good tonight.

He might be manna from heaven especially for those looking to swing Nank to cover Witts in the ruck next week.

Not confident in my Parsons, Eddy, Balic situation there.

  124. Jack says:

Oliver, Bont, Zerrett, Cripps will be locks for the next 5+ years

  125. smart as s says:

The kid o'çonnor looks a natural out there. For a first gamer, composed and confident. Hope he gets more games!

    • smart as s says:

don't want to carry fisher through the byes, he looks like a lost fish out there!

  126. Tommo09 says:

    Take Danger's 112 or gamble on Fyfe/JPK

    • Iamme says:

The golden rule is anything over 125 is an acceptable captaincy score…..Fyfe and especially JPK is overdue for a big one, so I would gamble

      • Lazza says:

Who changed the Golden Rule ? It's been 130 since time began…

        • Derek says:

8/10 of my opponents have Danger as their C. I had him as my VC.

I have Fyfe, Buddy and maybe Hanners as C options if I want.

I have my nose in front in all my matches, but we are entering Sucky Sunday.

Do I play safe or not?

        • SCdonkey says:

It's still is the golden rule, however this season our uber premo for captaincy hasn't produce much for us. 125 is the borderline, 130+ is bonus this year.

    • BockChoy says:

I've gambled 8 times this year and have only gotten it right twice (the last 2 weeks with 148 and 147 from Rocky). The first 6 times, my C scored less than my VC. Are you happy taking a riskless 112 over a chance this will be not be met?

  127. Bobby says:

Do you guys believe Josh P Kennedy can come hopme strong?

    • Bobby says:

    • Derek says:

He always does. As the grounds get heavier, more stoppages swans get serious, JPK does his best work. I'll be getting him round 12.

    • Iamme says:

Agree with Derek, he will come good…History tells us he's too good a player not to.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Definately mate. JPK always gets better as the season progresses. He likes the cold wet conditions. A supercoach beast.

      • Derek says:

Have to remember he is now the Swans Captain. Might take a while to get used to that, but when he does he will lead the Swans from the front. Round 11 bye means I get him round 12.

    • Tibor says:

He is the absolute premo. Will not let you down. As the season grinds on for many he will just emerge just like every year

  128. TOPHAWK1 says:

I don't have him, but what the hell is going on with Rory Sloane?

He has copped a hard tag in the last 2 weeks and has just completely capitulated. Last night Bernie Vince completely took him out of the game. (Especially first half) No doubt he is a ball magnet on his terms, but when confronted with real physical pressure it is becoming very apparent that he cannot cope. This may seem harsh, but as I see it, there is no way he can now be considered a legitimate premo midfield option. Sloane is completely exposed when confronted with a sustained hard tag. Other clubs now know it and will follow Melbourne and North Melbourne's lead.

Sloane is damn lucky that Mitch Robinson is injured, otherwise Sloane would have copped it again next week against Brisbane.

    • INPieman says:

Plenty of people payed 675 for Sloane last week. I'm sure they regret that. Sloane goes on runs then has some poorer games & crashes in price. Happens every year. Priddis usually does as well

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

I agree Pieman. That is why you never pay top dollar for players after the season commences. Sloane has now demonstrated he has some chinks in his armour and the opportunity to grab him at $575K is not too far away. I will not be picking him after last night regardless of his price. I reckon players that I currently do not have such as Zach Merret, the Bont, Patrick Cripps, and Scott Pendlebury are well ahead of Sloane now. Its just a matter of timing when you grab them. Right now Pendles is a top priority at his ludicrous price. Hopefully the bub arrives this week, so he can put his mind back to playing some good footy.

        • Derek says:

You have to consider everyone this year for the right price. Gunston a good example, never would have considered him

    • Derek says:

Sloane wasn't in my best 8 at the start of the year, in the group just below. He would need to be $500k for me to consider him.

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

I can see why now Derek. Sloane definately no longer in my top 8 calculations and will not entertain him at all now.

I am looking at Pendles this week. I have been holding out and holding out on him, (rode my luck a bit there) but if the baby arrives this week, his mind will be at ease and ready to play serious footy again. I have Treloar on the bench. If Treloar does not come up this week, the straight switch is almost irresistable.

        • Derek says:

I think Trelor has more than an ankle wrong. Rumours about a tear in his groin I'd be concerned about if true.

    • Derek says:

I had a look at the top 50 players as at the start of this year and tracked their price movement for 2016.

48/50 at some point during the year fell below their starting price. Docherty and Gawn were the only exceptions.

At their lowest point (prior to round 15) the average drop in price for each position was significantly different.

      Defenders -9.4%
      Midfields -13.3%
      Rucks -5.4%
      Forwards -29.8%

I have picked off the defenders first. I now have Adams, Rance, Laird, Shaw, Simpson. Waiting for Docherty.

Will get JPK and Pendles through the byes before turning to the forwards and looking for the Buffaloes.

      • TOPHAWK1 says:

That is very interesting. The price fluctuations are the highest (by a long shot) by the forward players. I was not aware of that. Luckily I have been focusing on my backline/midfield as well. I started with the Doc, Laird, Adams, and grabbed Shaw 2 weeks ago. I want Simpson and he might be at the right price very shortly. (Have to cull Otten this week and have enough spare cash to swap for Simmo). Not 100% sure on Rance. He is just a bit up and down for my liking. I grabbed Hannebery 3 weeks ago at rock bottom price wise, and hoping to get Pendles on the cheap this week or next.

        • DavidSA says:

he gets no help from the rest of the mids
Danger had the same problem with Adelaide club
Too many outside players and not enough grunt to disturb Vince tag.
Was at the game last night and Vince wore him like a handbag

    • Boltons Blues says:

I had the big C on him last night, he's was given all names under the sun last night, the C was one of them

  129. Steeeve says:

Brought in Pendles and threw the C on him. I'm so good at this game.

  130. Cliffy says:

Keep Danger's 111 for VC or roll the dice with Fyfe or JPK for the C, and if you guys think the latter option, which of those two?

    • Wedge says:

I had jpk last week capt and he scored 77. This week selwood for a similar score. Why risk 111 in this environment? I would kill for my capt to score 100

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Danger's 112 is one of those mid range VC scores. Fyfe and JPK could easily surpass that this week. Why not have a ping on Fyfe? Even if he falls short and scores 100, you would not have lost much. Fyfe's ceiling is high and if he has a good day, a score of 150-160 is quite gettable for him. Good luck with your decision.

    • Derek says:

If either were at home I'd say Fyfe or JPK, but…….. the tag is now a worry.

I have VC on danger and might consider Buddy C

  131. Tibor says:

What will Oliver price be now. He started at 390 so he fit in the mid price madness category. Many doubted. When Gawn went down he was written off. When Spencer crumbled he was buried. Melbourne don't even play a ruckmen at all anymore. Oliver churns out six straight 100+ scores has a ninety something in round 7 then has a night out against the crows when Melbourne lose the ruck hit outs by 50. If his price hits 600 now he is good value, what is he capable of if Gawn comes back and he starts getting a look at first use…..

  132. neil demons delight says:

glad I kept him proving to bea keeper now

  133. Touk tuk says:

Pendles has scored 4 tons and 4 scores under 100. How relevent is he for SC this year??

    • Ja191 says:

He's still averaging around 110, not as bad as everyone is making him out to be. He'll come good.

    • Kim says:

Clearly distracted by upcoming baby it seems unless playing with a niggle or role change, who knows. I would hold reckon he'll come good after baby is finally born.

      • DavidSA says:

        i don't think it's the baby lmfao!
I think the hunger is gone. Simple

  134. Willow says:

Oliver is ridiculously good for his age and experience, I just can't see him continue this for the whole year, looking back at history, only Rockliff become a premium player after so few games averaging 113 in his 3rd year after only playing 20games, even the Bont crashed down to a mere 103 in his second year, peddles av 88 beams the same McRae went at 100, the list bloody goes on, but the boy is just so darn good and as an owner the temptation is to keep the bastard, I guess time will tell but ATM a trade to an Ablett or even a MASSIVE POD in wines after RD 10 could be a possibility unless I have bigger fish to fry, fry Fish yes Z.Fisher the smallest fish on land will be gone before Oliver my son. Crap I think I just blacked out, Crouching Crouching is that you.

    • Kim says:

Everyone's kept claiming Zac Merrett wouldn't keep it up last year and he did. No point trading Oliver unless he gets injured or does put in 3-4 sub 100 games in a row. I think he will keep it going contested beast. Keep him at m8 in the end going far better than both treloar or Pendles at the moment anyway.

    • Tibor says:

What stops him willow. When there is no ruckman no problem, when the side struggles he still performs it's all upside as Melb get players rucks in particular back and the team is more competitive he just gets better

  135. Hawks says:

Help, need to get the captain selection right this week.

    Fyfe, Hanners, Kennedy or Buddy?

  136. Will says:

Is Titchell a good downgrade option for Rocky? Or who else?

  137. DavidSA says:

Michael Walters role change is amazing , 119 last week because Ross has put him 100% mid
Has the same role again today and is smashing it currently 14 disposals @ 92% DE
Seriously considering him in my fwd line

  138. DefyingMadness says:

The Nank might not finish top 6 as we had hoped

    • DavidSA says:

Indeed but I as well as many just cannot trade off players because of low scores from time to time.
Need my trades to be 9 at the very least after byes

    • Russty_ says:

4 disposals so far…bloody spudding it, lift big fella!

    • Finnius123 says:

I disagree. He is up against the biggest ruckman in the comp this week and Freo are running the tigers absolutely ragged. Nank is dead on his feet at the moment. He will bounce back next week. Also need to hold as that rd 12 bye is crucial

    • Derek says:

he was on 53sc at 3/4 time. Came home strong. Will he do that every week. I traded him last out week.

  139. Finnius123 says:

What will Rance's price be if he scores 120 today?

    • DavidSA says:

Will go up roughly 10k if that is the case making him 481k
Only thing I know is he has the BE of 78 with a projection 94 and a predicted price change of 4k positive

    • hedski says:

Looks like he might go higher, on 82 currently, my trades of Otten/Hampton to Berry/Rance looking like netting me @100 points and some nice left over cash, still probably score under 2000 for the third week in a row tho.

      • Derek says:

Went backward in last 15 mins. Was 110 with 15 mins to go. Brought him in this week

  140. Jimmy says:

    Rance or Doch next week?

  141. DavidSA says:

something needs to be said about Walters this podcast Jock he is looking beastly with role change

    • hedski says:

Brad Hill looking good too + DPP.

    • Finnius123 says:

He scored a 28 two weeks ago – would definitely hold off for a few weeks

      • Russty_ says:

Agree Finnuis, looking at Walter's and hill's past score averages doesn't inspire much confidence for me, different story if they can maintain the good scores though, Walters copped a nasty rib injury I think though.

        • DavidSA says:

"Role change" the low scores are when he is studding in forward pocket you know?
          Maybe not I guess

  142. Jim_bob321 says:

    Fellas tom Stewart or EVW

  143. DefyingMadness says:

My score of 2200 is now looking like 2100 thanks to the spud performances of Butler and Nankervis

  144. DefyingMadness says:

My my Nank I am sorry I doubted you. What a gun

  145. Finnius123 says:

  146. DefyingMadness says:

    Newman late in apparently

  147. hedski says:

Friggin Hello Newman late in for Florent, he'd wanna outscore Berry's 71 prick (at least he'll make some cash)

  148. Russty_ says:

    Elliiiiiiiiiissssssssss!, hahaha well done Tigers!!!

  149. Finnius123 says:

  150. Ja191 says:

  151. TOPHAWK1 says:

What a ripper game between Freo and the Tigers! What a game. Mundy's goal after the siren broke tiger hearts!

    • Derek says:

Did Neale get 30 pts for that last clearance?

One of my opponents had him C, that might have just got him home. Wow

    • Tibor says:

      They don't have hearts

  152. Russty_ says:

I wonder if the Chinese at the game actually understand what's going on out there, if they were briefed on the rules of AFL?
It's fairly clear out there, I expected there to be a smoggy haze in the air, maybe they have huge fans blowing all the crap away?

    • SCdonkey says:

You'd be suprised how many asian understands the game mate. I'm a filipino born, grew up here since 1984, went back to my birthplace for the first time in 1998. Was suprised to find some AFL merchandise and some locals were actually talking to me about footy, apparently some games gets televised there,.

As far as i know AFL has been trying to introduce it to asian countries for the past decade or so, we have a lot expat in Asian countries, by looking at the crowds on Port and Suns there are a lot of them at the game watching.

      • Russty_ says:

Yeah I noticed that, lots of caucasian faces in the crowd, shame gold coast can't seem to make a decent contest of it..and Gazza on 30 points, be good if our game could go international eventually, imaging if the yanks started playing it?

    • hedski says:

Made in China fans…they'll break at half time.

  153. Derek says:

Newman late in. Had the C on him. Was almost another Eddy disaster.

Only options are Buddy or Hanners for C.

    Stick it in Buddy

  154. BrownlowBoy says:

Spare a thought to anyone with the C on Newman with no captain options to play!

  155. Russty_ says:

Was just doing my Sunday Coachkings side before and there didn't seem to be an option to put Jake Lloyd in the backline….that kinda sucks a bit.

  156. Russty_ says:

I guess the moral of that story is Col…only loophole someone who's definitely not playing, someone who's not even an emergency..just to be safe.

  157. INPieman says:

Least you have someone. Many will be stuck with Newman

  158. hedski says:

Cos we are mere plebs and they can Col.

    • Col says:

Yes, yes we are very much so plebs
      Very well said

I would of, could of, should have chosen a different c option but was caught out in the Mother's Day luncheon
Oh well, happy Mother's Day non the less

  159. INPieman says:

I'm sure many will have had the VC on Rocky & C on Newman. And Rocky is a certain trade. A true double fisting no lube from the gods

  160. Russty_ says:

Charlie Dixon's really turned things around in the last few weeks, is anyone considering bringing his large injury prone ass in?

    • INPieman says:

You been smoking some funny stuff this arvo Russty?

      • Russty_ says:

Nah mate haha just wondering, I brought Pederson in last week, not gonna risk Charlie as well πŸ™‚

  161. Tommo09 says:

Looking like sub 2k again this week
Even after 2 upgrades this week

  162. Don't Blush Baby says:

SC Rule Number 756 – Never put the C on an emergency

  163. Russty_ says:

    Newman on 19 already!

  164. DefyingMadness says:

First I trade out WHE early now I trade out Newman early πŸ™

  165. Joshua says:

Early call but JPK is back I reckon

  166. DefyingMadness says:

At least I stuck to my guns and brought in Heeney over Franklin. Also what a spectacle is going on in coachkings currently top 18 have the same team. A lot riding on half time trades/captain pick it looks like.

  167. Rick Grimes says:

I hate you Newman. You don't realise how much I hate you right now. Fugggggermugggerfugvvghopfefvhjkkbbfdaergggggggghh

    • DefyingMadness says:

      Same dhjrghurtdejiokehtd

    • DefyingMadness says:

I talked myself out of trading Hampton out and moved on Newman last week, not like I even had donut problems also so I am bummed

      • Rick Grimes says:

I kept Hampton on the basis of a warm body over byes. Knowing sc karma, Hampton will be dropped next week and Newman will go on scoring rampage. Soul destroying stuff.

        • DefyingMadness says:

Yeah I kept him for the same reason. Didn't want to rely on newmans dodgy job security

    • Russty_ says:

      I hate Franklin more….Captain, my captain…SPUD!!!

      • Finnius123 says:

        I don't want to say I told you so…

        But I told you so

        • Russty_ says:

Yeah I know, there is still time though :), fingers crossed tight!

          • Derek says:

I hope. When C on Buddy as well

            • DavidSA says:

              Franklin coming

            • Kim says:

Buddy was never going to go huge 2 weeks in a row. None of the kpp forwards do look at lynch today 28 sc points for gc. Jjk never goes large next week after big week previous game also. Better off going a midfielder.

    • Rocksta says:

      Don't blame him mate.
      Blame the Fkr Horse.
I'm stranded with Newman on the bench with the 'E' on him, having to field Steward with a 46.
      He's gunna score 130+.
      FK you Horse!

      • JohndJames says:

Better than me,have Melican on the field with Newman on the bench, didn't find out soon enough to do the swap,I usually always check to see if there are any late changes

    • SCdonkey says:

Same!! My opponent had EVW then switch to Newman. I need Buddy to have a big 2nd half to win the league.

    • Top Gun says:

Cost me a few hundred places sitting on my bench while oconnor spudded it up.

  168. DavidSA says:

That moment your trying to loop Berry 71 and have Newman playing instead :/

    Oh wait nvm

  169. DavidSA says:

half way through the 2nd quarter and Sydney have 52 more disposals for the match so far 0.o

    ⚰️ R.I.P

  170. Derek says:

Almost got through weekend without any disasters……, almost!

Have Simpkin on field. Finished for the day on 5sc.

    That hurts

    • Juzzy says:

      Bad luck Mate.

I had him from the get go but traded him to Parsons last week to avoid a Nank doughnut.
This week thought I had wasted a trade for Parsons 19ish points.

Hope he comes back and scores a ton for you.

  171. Derek says:

Oh why didn't I leave the C on Newman!!!

    • Russty_ says:

It's impossible to forsee these things Derek…just plain bad luck.

      • DavidSA says:

        CRAZY last 3 rounds hey
I smell a big last half for Franklin though. His 2nd quarter he was vintage just no finish with his shots so far.
Hope he can get 110 for us all

  172. Jim_bob321 says:

If JPK doesn't reach his BE, he's mineeee

    • Finnius123 says:

His BE is 140 – is a serious chance of reaching that this afternoon

  173. LetsGo says:

Sucky Sunday is turning into Superb Sunday! Heeney and Hannebery on 75+ approaching half time, happy days.

  174. Finnius123 says:

Newman on more than Berry at half time!

  175. Jim_bob321 says:

How much u reckon Newman is gonna increase?

  176. Ja191 says:

gotta love benching newman and playing florent on field for florent to get a 0 and newman 80 at halftime.. lol

  177. Joshua says:

Fareout and I passed on Newman due to JS issues, cash generating beast

  178. Phantom says:

Heeney or Franklin for captain in coachkings

  179. Holty says:

Wow. Newman late in and dominating. Nice to still have him but disappointing not having him onfield.

  180. Boltons Blues says:

Newman providing the much needed cash generation, so be it from the pine in my case.
3 big problems in my team this week to consider.
    Butler, Treloar and Parsons
Myers the most logical inclusion, but having Witts and SPP make it even harder

  181. John says:

Exactly the opposite happened! Well played

  182. SCdonkey says:

Trigger on Coachking at 574 and I'm on 540

  183. Joshua says:

Covering Witts and SPP next week, downgrading Otten to Myers. Will hold second trade unless Marchbanks be is high then I will upgrade to Rance or Adams. Good plan?

    • Finnius123 says:

I would hold Witts but probably not SPP. He isn't worth covering and will be just about his max price unless he goes big in round 10. You will be able to paint the fence with Otten and SPP quite easily – getting taylor adams for otten and Myers for SPP is a good plan IMO

      • Jim_bob321 says:

SPP will still make u money for a couple more weeks, unless you're covering for bye rounds?

    • Top Gun says:

      Marchbank BE is 47

  184. Pman says:

Had Newman on the ground to loophole with Berry as Emergency as Newman wasn't picked and I just log onto see not only is he now playing but he's also on 78 points at half time if you don't mind! Hopefully this is a sign that Super Coach God's have had enough on shitting on me from above this season! Looks like Kennedy is finally going large too with 87 at half time, hopefully another good sign.

    • Russty_ says:

Same here Pman regarding Kennedy, had him from the start and it's been painful, hope this week is the turnaround.

    • hedski says:

Sshhh, u know you've just jinxed yourself, the sc gods are PRICKS.

      • Ben says:

Haha same here, I originally had Newman on bench and put him on field to loophole Berry. Didn't think he was playing but he's currently top scoring Sydney player!

  185. Russty_ says:

I reckon North will end up fighting it out with Richmond for ninth spot.

  186. Finnius123 says:

Horse is going to have a tough job justifying dropping Newman this week!

  187. Russty_ says:

Come on buddy …kick a GOAL for FKS sake!

  188. Russty_ says:

Jeez…if you got stuck with the C on Newman, you wouldn't be that unhappy now would ya?….he could get to 150 hahaha

    • Wedge says:

Some people could've been cheering to see their opponent with the C on Newman. Only to then still lose

  189. Phantom says:

I actually feel sick every time Newman touches the ball. Looks like he won't get dropped next week but you never know. Grats to everyone who held him, if he keeps playing looks like he will make around 400k.

    • Rocksta says:

I've still got him, but he's sitting on my bench with an 'E' on him.
Horse has cost me near on 110 points this week.
Still, I could of traded him like many others.
No chance he gets dropped next week!

    • Pman says:

Kept him and had him on ground for Emergency loophole with Berry so am as happy as a pig in shit at the moment as his 152 has given me a come from behind win in my 4 cash leagues, all by margins under 30 points.

  190. Jim_bob321 says:

Just wondering, who could potentially be a downgrade target from Hampton? Possibly Berry?

  191. JohndJames says:

Missed out on 100+ points because I didn't check to see if there were any late changes early enough,Melican on field,Newman on the bench.

    • Finnius123 says:

    • Dianna says:

Most of us who have a life/family etc and not just footy would have missed out. DT better because it is set and forget and you don't compete with nerds who watch/listen to footy all weekend.

      • Russty_ says:

Maybe you're the nerd Dianna :), maybe some people have forged their own lives, through many years of hard work, and can just watch Footy all weekend. Those people have very good lives opposed to your chaotic life πŸ™‚

        • hedski says:

Yep, work all week and enjoy the footy and a beer, the family are OK as well I suppose πŸ˜‰

          • Russty_ says:

Fk yeah Hedski!…heres to doing sweet F.A all weekend except watching Footy in the winter time πŸ™‚ cheers bud.

        • Dianna says:

I feel sorry for you and hopefully you don't have a family.

  192. Finnius123 says:

Imagine having the C on Newman – the kid is going to get 150

  193. David says:

Hard luck story of the week. Or, Karma? I messed around with my team late last light knowing that I had the league win in the bag. Unfortunately I forgot to put the E back on P.Pepper and turned a 60 point win into a 10 point loss. I wouldn't have minded, just a game right…. but the same guy beat me last year and didn't let it go for a month…

  194. Ben says:

When you try to loop hole berry's 70 with Newman and end up getting a massive score

  195. hedski says:

Newman!!! Yes I finally cracked 2k.

  196. Larrat says:

Im cooked see you all next year best of luck

  197. Moosehead says:

I wrote earlier that Newman might get another game if he gets 100+ but with 150+ Horse will have to relent.

  198. Russty_ says:

Gary from accounts, is a real fkn bastard haha

  199. DefyingMadness says:

Finished 6th in CoachKings, so close yet so far πŸ™

  200. BrownlowBoy says:

In reply to my post above having sympathy to those who had to captain options left and were forced to leave it on Newman, I withdraw my sympathy and bow down to your greatness.

    • Russty_ says:

      Just dumb luck Brownlow

      • Derek says:

Why didn't I take my wife out to dinner for Mother's Day and therefore not know about Newman playing….. had the C on him….. but no….. cooked dinner at home and put the C on Buddy.

      • BrownlowBoy says:

I know its luck, but 150 points of luck is incredible.

  201. DavidSA says:

2240 atm waiting for scaling on Newman, Lloyd and Frankfurt

  202. Finnius123 says:

Newman and JPK made a decent week for me into a good one. Skipper on Doch was also a decent decision that pulled me through.

I finished up on 2230 – which I reckon is just above average.

    How did everyone else fair?

    • Dogs says:

      2191, not finalised yet.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

I think I will end up with around 2200. By no means a break out score, but solid. Hoping to move up a little up the rankings with that.

    • hedski says:

2080, better than my 1850 last 2 weeks.
      Parker is back.
      Edit 2074

  203. DavidSA says:

One guy in my league with 2309 atm bloody good score

  204. DefyingMadness says:

2246 this week without Newman around par I would think. Thank god I traded in Heeney over Franklin

  205. Dean says:

After SaturDAY I thought id score high, after Saturday night that big score I thought I would get only a few hours prior went out the window with Pendls, Sloane, Lynch, Franklin & Dahlhaus all scoring crap.

Thankfully Newman at least seen me score 2020 a very ordinary score. Bloody hell my ranking is going down Ship Creek in a hurry without a paddle

    • JohndJames says:

2023 for me,with Newman on the bench, could have had another 120pts if I was on the ball, won't even be in the top 10,000 after that score.

  206. Pman says:

    Hellooo Newman!! 152 points….Giddy up!

  207. Derek says:

I was yelling at Buddy every time he dropped a mark. How many easy marks did he drop in the last quarter

  208. Holty says:

    Newman. WOW.

  209. TOPHAWK1 says:

Bloody Nic Newman hey! Never saw that one coming. I obviously regret trading him out two weeks ago now, but at the end of the day you win some and lose some. Will take it on the chin. To coaches who stuck fat with Newman, congrats!! What an effort by a rookie back man. Unbelievable.

    • David says:

I traded him out then back in when he was dropped the first time for a quick cash grab. Just had a feeling about… The same feeling I had about Yeo. Not on field though…

      • Dildor says:

You used two trades on an unproven rookie named as emergency with poor job security?

        I hate this game.

    • INPieman says:

Due to Hampton & Stewart playing the same time I put the E on Hampton & hoped Newman would get a late call up. As a result I won 2 cash league matches I shouldn't of. The other person had the VC on Danger & C on Newman & that made a difference & a loss. So much luck involved in this game

      • Babo says:

C on Newman.. how ironic. Nice one.

      • SCdonkey says:

Yep!! So much luck for others. Not much luck for some! VC and C for me this year has been syet! The upside only drop sub 2000 points once.

    • Tyruddanaut says:

Not great for all of us. Had him C for loophole purposes but then went for a gamble with Danger and moved him into the bench. If only…

  210. Wedge says:

If only spud Williamson scored more than 50 pts I would have left Newman on field instead of bringing on Stewart. Cost me my important league win

  211. CoachDamo says:

Thank you Nic Newman! Left him on field (had Hampton as Emergency) and he saved my butt in a couple of league matches!

    • Pman says:

Enjoyed the same slice of luck as loopholed with Berry…about time we had some good luck in light of recent bad scoring weeks.

  212. Josh says:

3rd terrible score in a row can't seem to avoid disappointment this year, even had Newman sitting on my bench! All my premiums playing poorly so I understand why why but extra painful when I see Neale with 129? Barely noticed him in the game until the last 21 seconds where he helped seal the game but rest of his stats 23 disposals only half contested at 74% 4 clearances and inside 50s. Seems insane they score that higher then Rory laird who was a man possessed this weekend

  213. Peggs says:

Wonder if anyone put the C on Newman for loophole, um….. he played , you get 304 by accident

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

There will be, and they will brag about it for the rest of the year. What a "Shark move" that was!!

Did that coach known as "One Touch Wonder" call that one this week by any chance?

    • INPieman says:

I lost a cash league match because of it. He was taking Danger's score & I lost by 12

    • DTWanderer says:

A mate who lives in London didn't wake up in time to take the C off Newman…. C#nt

  214. Matze says:

You'd have to think he would keep a spot wit 30+ touches. If he gets dropped then Horse is the new Lyon

  215. Billioux says:

You whinging girls happy now? Late ins from a named emerg fuk wat a surprise! most of you lost your sh!t 3hrs ago and you now got lucky. Pure luck. .And that is part of the whole thing. I have Newman like most, just looped T will. and 48 was not going to cut it. If Tom gets 78 then i too get Newmans 150. Swings and round abouts.

  216. Jim_bob321 says:

    Fellas… Guesses for Newman's BE are welcome…

  217. Derek says:

    Simpkin 5 hurt

  218. TOPHAWK1 says:

2186 this week. I am happy with that total despite not getting a break out score.

Addicts anonymous (In Trig's happy place league) ran over the top and pipped me by 18 points. He had Newman on the field, and I had neither. Need I say more……..

There was another bloke who ended up with a MASSIVE 2369 in one of my other leagues. Glad I didn't play that pr-ick this week. I like to see if anyone can beat that.

    • Pman says:

I scpred 2151 which I'm happy about as I'll win 7/8 leagues however the one score that did beat me was a massive 2449!

    • Finnius123 says:

I saw some guy commented on a doctor supercoach post that got 2503!

    • Dean says:

I know someone who was 2399 prior to scaling and he had Newman benched, so top score will be 2400+

  219. DefyingMadness says:

Will be trading out Butler and Otten this week. It means Hampton would still remain in my team, however Hampton and Butler will have similar breakevens however Hampton is on the bench whereas Butler is on field and trading him allows me to bring Taranto from the mids into the forward, thus giving me a decent on field rookie.

    Thoughts community?

    • Finnius123 says:

Hampton will have a higher BE than butler – I would be keeping Otten and be getting rid Butler and Hampton

  220. Jimmy says:

    JPK or Tom Mitchell?

    • Danners says:

JPK, looks to have found his form again

      • Lazza says:

That's what a few said on here about Shaw when he cracked his ton a couple of weeks back …. I'd wait and see ….

  221. Dogs says:

Wanted to trade out often next week, but thinking maybe trading butler who is on field will be more of a point gain. Even playing bad ottens 65-70 is better than what butler is producing now.

    • DavidSA says:

      Can't disagree with that mate

    • Cogla13 says:

Butler has the round 12 bye which is handy.

    • Dildor says:

As a tigers supporter i'd say butler will be lucky to hold his spot next week. We have Bolton, Lennon, Lloyd sitting in the VFL playing hard for a small forward game. I suspect theyll get it this week.

    • Doggy says:

Only problem I was going to go often and spp to Myers and Adams , now I want to keep spp. But don't have any swing options to get Myers, and no other bubble boys this week.

  222. Tommo09 says:

    Rookies options this week?
    Just Myers
    Are there any defensive rookies?
Want to trade Otten and Butler this week

  223. TEM says:

FML i got 1964 but i had sandi on the bench and didnt put the E on him as i was trying to do the loophole with strnadica and i realised after the game FMLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL and i had newman on the bench, at least i won and newman will make heaps of cash.

    • DavidSA says:

thats worse than a 1 min in injury. I just about hear a mistake like this every season, sry to hear mate

    • frogger says:

Bad luck, mate, it's a shocking feeling, did something similar myself. You can't change it now and at least you've got Newman's cash generation – others had already traded him out and you will have that advantage over them.

    • Russty_ says:

Should've started Sandi onfield, the loophole crap is basically cheating anyway…I hope they outlaw loopholing out of the game.

  224. hedski says:

2307 by "Sassy Foods", best score I've seen in my leagues, killing it he is (Yoda speak).

    • DefyingMadness says:

Found a 2394 in one of my leagues

      • Billioux says:

2356 from Frankie Nemesis in one of my leagues. He was ranked 14th prior to this round. Reckon he gonna be right there.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

2369 in one of my leagues. Team called the Bluebaggers.

  225. Bells says:

Switched Newman onfield (151) at the last second replacing Melican's 31. Didn't take Tarantino score and went with Sam Reid (127).
Tich as VC – took it.
FINALLY a SC week where most things went right. Scored 2321. You Ripper!

  226. Ryan says:

2308 very happy hoping to move up the rankings siting 99th overall last week. Trading out rocky this week makes me so sad!

    • Dean says:

Mate you will be top 30 for sure with that score

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Geez, you will be close to top 10 after that effort. Great stuff.

    • INPieman says:

Well done Ryan. But hoping to get through a season with Rocky is fools gold. But you should thank him for his services & the fact he didn't do that early game. You can now go to anyone

    • Top Gun says:

      Congrsts. It's a tough season. Slipped to 1300s πŸ™

  227. Swannie says:

Rockcliffe VC captains loophole (winner) Lynch GC 29pts wtf – supposed to be one of the best forwards….

  228. Babo says:

    What did we all score?

2159 for me. Saved by Newman.

    • Cocko says:

Was hoping ave was about 1500

      • INPieman says:

Same Cocko. But like every Sunday night I'm hearing about all these 2975+ scores. From what I've seen 2100 is par, 2200 good score & 2300+ excellent score

    • JohndJames says:

2023 with Newman on the bench.

    • Goat says:

Goat had a disaster rd. 1988. Newman on bench. Sloan as Cap. Parsons on field… Lynch…
At least there is a new week and cash being made on bench….:)

    • Iamme says:

2152 with Newman on the pine without an E against his name…like most of us who still have him.

    • Russty_ says:

2123, with Fkface Buddy as Captain.

      • poloko48 says:

Feel your pain mate, had VC on Danger but went with Bud due to his record against Nth, unfortunately he couldn't hold his marks today. At least you cracked 2K, I've now had my third straight week of sub 2K….and have dropped to an embarrassing 50K overall.

        • Russty_ says:

yeah Poloko, he didn't deliver the goods for us today, bummer but he's still worth keeping cause sydney look like theyr'e improving.

    • Captain Risky says:

2282 with Butler and Williamson on the field, Danger as C. Got Newmans score by trying to loophole Berry which was a unexpected bonus.

      • Russty_ says:

That's huge!, how many places did you advance in the rankings?

        • Captain Risky says:

          Up 764 to 889.

8 weeks without a VC to loophole and some ordinary Capt scores is killing me a bit but I can't complain really.

    • Dan says:

2412, 114 overall for the week.

  229. DavidSA says:

big scores in my league this round
    Topping off 1st Bantasy 2408
    2nd SWANSHOP 2393
    3rd Wigsy 2303

I think 2200-2250 is par now geez

  230. Joshua says:

    2234, decent score

  231. Steeeve says:

Three straight weeks under 2000. Anyone else?

    • Russty_ says:

Got 2123, won 7 out of 10 leagues, not good, but not bad either.

    • Mark says:

      Scored 2001

    • hedski says:

      1855, 1849, 2074.
Thank fk got a bit of mojo back this week Steeeve, still pretty ordinary, thought Fisher would cover Treloar a bit better than that.

    • frogger says:

Yeah, me, too. Was king of the kids a few weeks back, finished 2nd/3rd on the round and was top 50 overall, now out to 9k-odd.
Hope it turns for you, am assuming you got hit by some of Beams / Treloar / Greene / Nank along the way there.

    • Russty_ says:

No Steve, you must just be crap :)…just kidding. you'll bounce back.

      • Steeeve says:

Hoping so mate — some terrible captain choices (not so DePendlebury apparently) and having to play Hannan and Parsons on field for two weeks straight has really killed me.
Upgrading a spud this week. Not sure if it will be Eddy, Hannan or Pickett. All such awful, awful spuds. Then I have Butler losing cash as well, but I need anyone who is actually playing up forward.

  232. BlueNath says:

Wow!… Newman jumped $60,600 and will go up another $50,900 if he reaches his projected score 94 (break even is -20). Good coin for those who kept the faith.

What are the odds on Sportsbet for horse to drop him?

  233. Finnius123 says:

who is more of a keeper: Steele or Witts? I have to get rid of one.

    • BlueNath says:

HAVE TO? Both have relatively low be's and should see you through(/up to their) the bye rounds. Sure you MUST trade this week? If so, I would hold both and look elsewhere

      • Finnius123 says:

I have 7 forward eligible players. I do not want one of them to end up in my midfield, as I would like a forward line full of guns. Due to that being the case, either Steele or Witts needs to go – I can through Nank in the ruck and get rid of witts (this week), or hold onto Steele until his bye and then burn him.

        • Stanks21 says:

Your an idiot if your even considering getting rid of steele. He is getting better every week!

        • Wedge says:

If you have a mid that's fwd eligible and all fwds with mid eligibility that'll be gold come bye weeks and years end. So often people are struggling with trades in the last weeks and minimum bench cover. Could be the difference in a league final

    • pod says:

      Keep Steele

    • Dildor says:

Maybe a late year trade from witts to Gawn or NicNat could be a sneaky win?

  234. Whitey says:

I apologise to all Taylor Adams owners. I am bringing him in this week and therefore he is guaranteed to be injured or suspended. Sorry again.

  235. BlueNath says:

2581 was the top score from the round

  236. KillaJulz says:

    Greene or Heeney?

    • Deeboss says:

    • Danners says:

Heeney looks to be the real deal if you don't have too many Sydney players

    • redherringfc says:

Podcast last week, half suggested Heeney. Glad I got on board.

I think Greene fell away late last year, he's a no from me.

      • Russty_ says:

Greene is good, but always has to prove he's a tough guy, shortass syndrome.

        • KillaJulz says:

Got a sh**load of Sydney players but looking like I might tank week 11 since I'm mainly playing for h2h– so Heeney it is

    • pod says:

      Heeney all day

  237. The G Train says:

Will next weeks bye for GC and PA mean only the 18 best scores afield will count as in a regular bye week or will it be 22 like normal?

  238. redherringfc says:

SC Gold has Newman to Pendlebury only costing an extra 20k, give or take, from about rounds 15 to 19. If Pendles has a week off for Junior then the predictions are less than 10k apart. Obviously won't happen, but interesting.

  239. Russty_ says:

That Sportsbet, Ben Johnson ad is just plain wrong isn't it?…how desperate for money must he have been to do that rubbish?

    • Tibor says:

Wow who the bloody hell said, Hey I've got this great idea for an add……….

      • Russty_ says:

A typical soulless scumbag advertising executive Tibor..the poor guy only probably made a grand out of it.

    • pod says:

Really? Take a Bex and have a nap mate.

    • Bock Choy says:

I understand this is an American ad which has been voiced over for Australia.

  240. The BONT says:

    Im going to CULL T.Lynch

    • Russty_ says:

Bad idea…why are you doing that?…is he injured?

    • frogger says:

Would depend on the trade, but honestly, I'd hold. Not injured and hopefully won't be that starved for supply again so soon.

  241. DefyingMadness says:

Hanners, The Bont, Oliver or Dusty

    • redherringfc says:

Think i might have you as a matchup next week. My suggestion is go for a smokey. Have you considered Matera?

    • Joshua says:

I've got all except Oliver. Go Clayton to make me jealous

    • Tibor says:

Finally this is the company Oliver does properly sit with. Surely the doubters are finally silenced. Some of us stole this kid at 382500

      • Russty_ says:

Sometimes it takes 8 or 9 rounds for people to believe what's in front of their eyes.

        • Wedge says:

I still expect him to hit a wall at some stage. If he gets through the year at this average lock him in for a future brownlow

    • pod says:

      The Bont

    • Bock Choy says:

The Bont has a RD11 bye. I want to bring him and Macrae in but will hold off as it will upset my team for that week.

  242. Joshua says:

SPP to Myers locked in. Covering Witts by swinging Nank. Otten to Adams if he isn't injured, if he is might look to a cheaper and more bye round friendly Rance

  243. Cpt Pugwash says:

Is it just me or is there a changing of the guard to our safe as houses promos. The younger brigade are coming fast.

  244. The BONT says:

Who to get rid of first

  245. The BONT says:

Who to get rid of first Marchbank or Powell pepper

  246. Dogs says:

I've targeted some value picks recently, calculating it will take 11 more trades to fill my last 4 spots with top premos, docherty in the back, not sure but need 1 in the mid, and 2 forwards needed. However this will only leave me with 6 trades after reaching full on field premium.

  247. The BONT says:

    GOOD or BAD
    T.Lynch and P.Pepper
    S.Ross and Myers

    • Finnius123 says:

    • Russty_ says:

Start making up your own mind…and you might learn how to be a better, independent coach. The best part of Supercoach is making your OWN decisions.

    • Kyle says:

Bad. Why would you trade out lynch? Forget whatever coin he will lose. Doesnt matter for a keeper if they lose 200k or gain 200k. There staying so price is irrelevant.

He is gonna have low scores or 30 or 40. But he also can pump out 160s to compensate. Hes gonna be one of the top forwards by years end. A huge mistake imo to trade him out.

    • Top Gun says:

Too much of a sideways trade…not enough to gain

  248. The BONT says:

  249. Russty_ says:

It's so, so, so wrong hahah, I feel sorry for the poor fat drug cheating old bastard.

  250. Adrian says:

how many trades do people have left and cash….l have 22 trades and $500k… seasons has been average tbh..a few good rounds, few average…but no stand out rounds and no absolute shockers. Mistakes from previous years is to panic trade, but l think that l will just trade out Houston this week, due to the bye and upgrade, just the one trade. Then sit tight next week no trades, then trade heavily through the bye rounds (3 x 3) and bring in upgrades (hopefully). After bye rounds l will then have 12 trades left to come home with. I previously always run out of trades, wanting to be different this year, not easy to be disciplined. JJK, Selwood, Sloane, Dusty, will be cheaper soon enough, although having said that l think we all need to think differently this year, from the usual mainstream picks, eg olive, robinson, etc.

Thoughts community on what's the right amount of cash and trades. PS l have learnt also that burning cash to bring in well scoring high priced in form players like the Bont, Sloane burns my cash, and leaves me with no options. $500 -$540k is my buy in target price.

Good luck all, and hope your teams scored well.

    • Russty_ says:

Who are Olive and Robinson? just make sure you have trades left for the last 3 weeks and the first 3 weeks of finals, many dreams have been crushed from having no trades in finals when dudes go down with injury.

  251. The BONT says:

is is good or bad to get rid of T.LYNCH

  252. andy says:

Is Shaw to Rance a bad trade?

  253. tom says:

Is Neale to expensive to bring in?

  254. Stanks21 says:

2136 this week with Greene on the bench suspended.
Have 18 Trades left and 124,900 in the bank

    Laird, Adams, Tuohy
    Hibberd, Shaw, Roberton
    (Stewart, Vicker Willis)

    Oliver, Pendlebury, Kennedy
    Zorko, Yeo, Fyfe
    Powell Pepper, Barrett
    (Fisher, Hibberd, Balic)

    Martin, Nankervis

    Dalhaus, Franklin, Steele
    Greene, Taranto, Parsons
    (Hayward, Eddy)

    Any ideas community?

Thinking of culling PP or Taranto, downgrading and then getting a fallen premo MID

    • Russty_ says:

      Get rid of Parsons

      • Stanks21 says:

Don't think that is worth a trade at this point.. I know he is playing real bad but how could I possibly gain anything from doing it atm…

        • Russty_ says:

To avoid a doughnut, when he gets dropped, I guess, only if he gets dropped and you need a warm body in the fwd line.

    • The G Train says:

I too have parsons at FWD 6 (moved nank to the ruck to cover witts) and am prepared to cop a 0 if he is not named as I want to trade out butler and ottens. Not that he'd do much better than a 0 even if he is named

  255. Tibor says:

Pp now having a bye after China game. Bye bye

  256. DavidSA says:

    going Treloar > Martin
    And. SPP > Merrett

  257. DefyingMadness says:

Just a tip for all SPP owners I would strongly recommend holding him if you have cover as he will be a warm body during the next batch of byes. His b/e is still low which is also great

    • Billioux says:

    • Juzzy says:

      Not sure I agree Defy.

SPP vs a premo mid could mean an extra 50 points per week (100 next week).

I am pushing my own barrow here 'cos I traded him out this week, and I agree that he would be more than handy during the byes, but I am not sure his scoring will get the job done vs a quality mid on cumulative scores regardless of the byes.

  258. Top Gun says:

Love it when you have two teams (the wife does play *wink*) and you play each other in the same league. Then my side that I put 100s of hours into gets beaten by her score of 2348 even after i messed up Cripps VC and put C on Danger. Lol. My teams still around 1100 rank hers climbs to 3000. Funny game this is.

  259. Chief says:

    Houston to Heeney?

  260. Bells says:

Commentators all ways talk it up about players adding to their next contract with good games…does anyone think paying Fife over a million per season is still a good idea? Fyfe's SC scores have been bloody ordinary of late. Not a keeper? Lock in the loss, or hold?

    • DavidSA says:

your connecting sc scores as a measure of worth to a player!!??!!

      • BigBoyBananana says:

I'm sure that's how it works David from South Australia, didn't you know that Jarrad Waite is going to get $10M on his next contract due to his 147 Supercoach average!

    • Top Gun says:

Would welcome him with open arms to the Saints.

  261. Joshua says:

Who's on the bubble this week other than Myers?

    • BigBoyBananana says:

Brad scheer from Gold Coast but i would 'scheer' clear of him

    • frogger says:

Sam Durdin for North (had one game early, then played this week). Scheer already covered.
McNiece if named for Bombers. Cedrix Cox (Bris), Ben Long (St K), again, only if named.

  262. BULLS says:

  263. Pitch 72 says:

Seems there are 2 supercoach results this round,
    those that played Newman,
    And those that did not.

    • Randomcliche2 says:

2197 without, lost my cash league game by 20odd to Newman & Co. Damn straight, 2 results, those with him, win, those without lose.

  264. poloko48 says:

    Righto, time to rage trade!
OUT goes Hampton, in comes Hurley
OUT goes Butler, in comes Myers
Still leaves me with $358K in the bank & 18 trades.

    My team now:

DEF: Adams, Hurley, Simmo, Rance, Heater, Newman (Marchbank, Stewart)
MID: Danger, Pendles, JPK, Fyfe, Treloar, Barrett, Berry, Myers (Balic, Fisher, Fox)
    RUC: SandiWitts (Preuss)
FWD: Macrae, Dahl, Buddy, Nank, Roughy, Hannan (Parsons, Eddy)

If Preuss not named I'm thinking about Witts to Sauce and hold Butler for another week.

    • JohndJames says:

I would be looking at trading Hannan for Heeney

    • Juzzy says:

If you had Nank as ruck cover from the get go then this is when you use him.

Thinking a premo in the midfield might be good but as your rooks are all making money would't know who to ditch.

  265. JohndJames says:

Changing my trades slightly from what I planned, going Hampton to Hanners and Parsons to T Mitchell. Then the week after will go Otten to Laird, then sit tight due to having no money left.

    • Russty_ says:

Sounds like some good choices John, should strengthen your team considerably, and then wait to see what pans out..injuries etc…chances are by then, you'll be ahead of whoever you're up against, so , you won't have to make any sudden trades.

      • JohndJames says:

Thank's Russty it will be a change upgrading instead of downgrading like I have for six out of my last seven trades,Parsons was probably more of a rage trade than anything, what a spud, but I needed cheering up after my stuff up with Newman.

  266. Juzzy says:

    Travelling pretty well right now.

The byes are scaring me half to death though. Could be nasty.

    • JohndJames says:

I have to second that as far as the byes go,that round 11 is just terrible, even if I bring in players that don't have a bye then,it really won't make a lot of difference, was hoping to have an even spread but might just have to throw round 11,which won't be hard.

  267. Jim says:

Get Pendles or wait on Sloane?

    • Russty_ says:

Forget about the new baby-daddy, his missus will be trying her best to make him focus all his attention on that, rather than his footy.

    • JohndJames says:

Neither just for now.I'm bringing in Hanners and Mitch this week, they look the goods at the moment.

    • Northernsoul74 says:

I'm not regretting bringing in Zerrett last week. Could look at him.

    • Dildor says:

Im worried about both. Had a plan to bring both in post byes but i think teams are starting to work sloan out with the hard tag and its bloody hurting him. And Pendlebury is less than interested in football at the moment.

  268. George says:

Is Docherty overpriced? I really need someone solid down back.

  269. Mike says:

    Yeo yeo or heeny

    • NickMacMan says:

i also want an answer to this

    • pod says:

Heeney. He's cheaper, plays midfield and is on the way up. Only concern is the bye.

    • Dildor says:

Yeo is the real deal this year, problem is i think those of us without him have missed the boat and id rather not conceed 150k to those that had him.

Heeney looooks like playing considerable amount of midfield time, if i didnt already have 3 rd 11 byes in my forward line i'd trade him in. It's easy to forget that basically all of us had him in our starting line up before rd 1, he's a freak and we already knew that, hopefully the glandula fever stays away.

  270. Rivo says:

Total stuff up and so over this season.

Locked out a minute before trading Houston to Heeney. Lost every game, scored under 2000 for the 3rd week in a row and witnessed the horror of another Tigers loss.

Now tanking for picks. FMS. The nightmare season continues.

20 trades and $163k. Hopefully Treloar returns as it's time to dump the Port spuds.

Houston & SPP to Heeney & Myers. Leaves $145k for next weeks into the byes.

  271. Jim_bob321 says:

What do u guys think of these…
    WHE down to James Stewart
    SPP up to Josh Kelly..
Only downside is Hampton is still in team
    Cheers community

    • Dildor says:

I will ride hampton through this week also, he's break even is now 71 so hoping that he won't leak alot of cash in one week.

      • Jim_bob321 says:

But do u like those trades? Kelly has a low BE…. not many people have him

        • Dildor says:

I started with Kelly in my team. Personally i think he's an absolute gun, great by hand and foot, tackles hard and has a big tank. With some key stars out of the GWS side, he's currently their number 1 midfielder. If you watch closely players want to give him the ball whenever they can, similarly to dustin martin. If you're after a POD i think he'll average 108-109 for the year.

Providing you can handle another rd 13 bye, I like the trades.

          • Dildor says:

Not so sure about going early on James Stewart – refer to Mitch Hannan.

            • Jim_bob321 says:

Just thinking, who could be a prime downgrade target from WHE apart from Stewart in order for me to get Josh Kelly?
              Daniel Lloyd?

            • Thomas says:

Correct me if im wrong, but he was referring to people who brought in Mitch Hannan after his 96 in round 1. hasnt scored above 55 since.

  272. neil demons delight says:

looks like the midprice style was the way to go Olver Steele murphy Nank Witts Sandi wish I knew earlier

    • Derek says:

the problem is, for every mid-price winner, there are 10 mid-price losers

i have had about a 1:10 winner:loser ratio over the years.

      • Dildor says:

I agree, keep in mind the losers.

Hrovat, JOM, Swallow, BMurphy, Watson, Caddy, Miller, Roughy, Jmartin, Mills, Kolodjahnij, Carlisle, Weitering

        You get my point.

    • Tibor says:

Mid price options are always ok if you get the right ones. They stand out a bit more this year due to some pretty average rookie outputs

  273. Derek says:

I would imagine Myers will be the most traded in this week.

Anyone thinking of trading in Newman army thinking clearly. Won't make that much money, has a r11 bye and basically poor JS with Rampe due back very soon

    • INPieman says:

2 more weeks from Newman would be perfect

    • Dildor says:

Also, id question poor js, surely this was enough for some coaches eyes to be opened and realise how good he actually is. Based only on his average he's a top 10 defender at the moment.

      • DefyingMadness says:

I would not be surprised if he plays 1 more game and gets dropped

    • Bells says:

Newman will fill the hole left by McV who is out with hammy. Fair JS as long as he isn't defending close to goal.
Rampe will come in for Melican or Marsh. Melican prob due a rest.

  274. Banga says:

Got Butler, SPP, Parfitt and Hampton all on the chopping block this week. But only got 30k and 20 trades left. Whats should i do?

    • Mash says:

SPP has a bye probably get rid of him

      • Dildor says:

I'd disagree, depending on your teams bye structure at the moment. He can be a handy 70 points to play on field during the first one or two byes if you're struggling, also with a BE of 54 he still a litte cash left in him.

    • TOPHAWK1 says:

Keep SSP. Unless your team 3+ Gold Coast /Port players. If this is not the case just put SPP on the bench. His BE is low at 54. Parfitt is the first bloke that has to go. Will not play again for at least 8 weeks. Trade him out of your midfield for a bubble boy. Myers? That trade would increase your coffers to around $140K for a fallen premo upgrade. Either Hampton or Butler, depending on your structures and byes scenario. Both have quite high BE's and are both bleeding cash now. (71 and 70 respectively). Trading out either would give you around $430K to snare a fallen premo. (although you might struggle to find one at that price). Otherwise you can go down to another bubbleboy this week and go 2 premo upgrades next week. Good luck mate.

      • Banga says:

Thanks for the response mate. I was originally thinking Butler down to myers (via balic DPP) and Hampton to maybe Mcinnes if named which leaves me with 300k to upgrade parfitt to a fallen premo next week. Thought that pariftt isnt bleeding cash and if treloar is named, i have cover so don't need to trade yet. Although all it takes is one big score and they rise in cash again.

  275. VARC says:

JOM to Myers this week is my first trade but unsure who to upgrade with the cash (will be holding onto Rocky pending outcome of scans).

Can go Butler to a forward less than $499,600 or can go SPP to a mid under $535,800.

Ranked in top 4,300 but largely concerned with league wins – do I go JPK (completely cooking Rd 11), Dusty to help out through byes (not sold on his consistency), or are there some good forwards to look at (e.g. Heeney, N Roo)?

    • Dildor says:

How do you still have JOM?

They're all good options, im going with JPK because im okay with the rd 11 bye at this stage, also he's dirt cheap for the 5th(?) best mid in the game.

      • VARC says:

Haven't been able to get rid of him due to other problems and/or injuries (e.g. would have punted him in the week Parfitt got injured) and given he isn't losing value whilst not playing have been able to hold him whilst waiting for a mid on the bubble.

JPK certainly appearing the most attractive, worried that Butler will get the axe this week and I'll be left with a donut if Balic doesn't come back in – that might force my hand somewhat.

        • Dildor says:

Yeah i think butler will get the chop. We have sam lloyd kicking 3-4 a game in the vfl, obvious replacement, or even shia bolton has been solid.

Have you considered heeney? looks the goods

  276. Krazee-Eyez Killa says:

2220 with Newman's 151 on the bloody bench. spewingggggggggggggg

  277. Rick Grimes says:

Not holding Newman is going to put me way behind others. He now looks like a great cash cow and I'm stuck with the likes of Hannan, Parsons and Balic. Where else are people looking?

    • Dildor says:

Fraser McInnes played his first for West Coast this week and played alot in the ruck. Might be their answer to Lycett and NicNats injuries. He's at a higher 155k price but is a watch this week to see how he goes against Essendons underwhelming rucks.

      • Northernsoul74 says:

Yeah I'm desperate for someone to downgrade Hampton to.

      • INPieman says:

I noticed McInnes shared the Ruck with Vardy as well. Have to keep an eye on that. If he stays in the team he could be handy. Can't pick him before his bubble breaks

    • INPieman says:

Who knows what Ross will do with Balic. Another nervous wait for us owners. Parsons will be lucky to hold his place & his BE is now more than what he has scored in the last 2 weeks. Looks like yet another failed rookie! I've got Balic Parson's & Eddy in my forward line & it's a sad sight. The need to find value & creativity has never been greater Rick

    • pod says:

Newman is top 10 defender, ha who would of thought?

  278. Garry says:

Is Shaw to Docherty a bad trade?

    • Rivo says:

Bad trade. Hold promos for now, Shaw should still finish Top 10 Def.

    • Tibor says:

If you do that you are effectively writing heater off as a premo. If your sure about it do it but maybe you have more pressing needs. I'm frustrated with heater too but big call to burn A trade going sideways

  279. Ja191 says:

May sound dumb but how about walters for a shark/pod move? Embracing his midfield move with 119/137 past two weeks. Set to rise 55k playing carlton next week. He will play forward aswell but could be a good risk?

  280. Adrian says:

ok people how many trades and how much cash do you have left.

22 and $500k….but my team sucks lol

    • Rick Grimes says:

I'm down to 18. My team's going ok, but my cash generation is putrid. Im what you call asset rich, cash poor.

  281. Benjamin B says:

Will use both trades: who to trade out:
    Butler, Hannan, Parsons, WHE?

  282. Tibor says:

Decided to hold spp and finally got rid of Pickett. Wouldn't normally trade on a Monday but feel great about it already. Getting rid of Pickett is like being backed up all weekend and starting Monday morning with an enormous bowel action. Maybe that's why Carlton dropped him, it would explain that creepy little smile on boltons face….

    • INPieman says:

I got rid of Pickett last week for Mutimer. A great feeling of satisfaction. I just have to hope Mutimer holds his spot

      • Northerner says:

Nelson and Cripps will put pressure on him, but could also get another out with injury before then. He looks solid and composed with the footy.

    • James says:

Yep it's always a nice feeling when you purge your system of certain undesirable elements. Wish I could do a colon cleanse with Mountford, Hannan, Parsons and Eddy. πŸ™

    • Ben says:

Good trade. I'm going Pickett to Myers this round. Holding SPP for now too.. I figure it's more useful to have players that are actually playing to get through the byes.

  283. FEARTHEBEARD says:

    So ah question :

Got Dalhaus, Macrae, Nank, Steele to go with 1 of them for now?

    • Stinga says:

I've got the same question ! Yeo or Heeney? Already got 3 sydney players as well (Franklin, Lloyd, Newman)

    • Ja191 says:

Henney for me, kids a gun. Would say yeo but he's too expensive for me

  284. Henry says:

Will Jayden Hunt play next round?

He got 56 considering he only played half a game…

Can do otten and treloar for kelly and hunt, thoughts?

    • Tibor says:

I really rate hunt but it was a big hit and he was out for a little while, Melbourne are one of the most careful clubs with concussion so I'd be surprised if he didn't miss one game. Melbourne bye is in the first multiple bye week so the week after might be the right time if you can wait that long

  285. James says:

Anyone interested in getting Harbrow in after he has his bye this week? Has tonned up in 5 of his 6 games which is damn good for a sub $500K defender. Could be a useful upgrade for say a Otten/Hampton/Marchbank type providing full coverage over those major bye rounds as well.

    • INPieman says:

I am considering it. But his number's from the 10 previous seasons make me extremely nervous. Could be a great pick if he can keep up the numbers. But history suggest it's a likely trap

    • Bock Choy says:

I've used Harbrow in previous seasons – generally a good scorer BUT kept getting tripped up with injuries and never really came back. He does look fit now and looks like he can keep this momentum up.

  286. Curious George says:

    Any news on Treloar?

  287. Stav says:

Hey guys, I have had M Crouch since the start of the year. IS slightly above his starting price so not losing money on him. Should I upgrade to top line premo or hold? Just doesn't have the ceiling I thought he would. Winning lots of the pill, but DE and handballs killing me.

If you think I should trade; who to?

    Other suggestions

Currently have Danger, Selwood, JPK, Fyfe, Pendles as my other premo mids. Plenty of coin in the bank

    • Lazza says:

I'd only take that move if all my other positions were full with Premo's…. fill the gaps then move out the poor performing premos … right now you are getting what you paid for … which is better than quite a few others …

    • sfg says:

I'd upgrade him later on in the season. Also Adelaide are playing a crippled brisbane this week

    • Stav says:

      Thanks Lazza and sfg

  288. Dice says:

Full premium fwd line if you count higgins, steele and nank.
But bloody hell michael walters, welcome to my team son
    macrae pushes up to mid
