    roughy :(

    • Ernest says:

Question. Why does so many people have Roughead? His not a premium, his just a fan favourite.
I used to think Dangerfield was overrated but then i woke up and saw how good he was. Is Roughead just popular because he'll score a big score out of the blue? 134 his highest and lowest 41 lol and what he get today? 50? And people give Higgins flack yet at least the guy will score consistently for his price.

      • Rat says:

maybe an average of 95+ over the last 3 seasons. I can tell that this is the first year you've played. Don't base judgements just on an 11 game period.

        • crackman says:

This year he is playing manly as a permanent forward

          • Ernest says:

Also took a risk by getting rid of Enright and putting in Docherty who scored what was it ? 102? The guys played well each game his played this year, yet i was told to pick Burgoyne because his a premium yet only gets 75.
So to sum it up. I traded Enright to Docherty and Hallihan to Parker and now i've switched Dangefield in the middle and Parker in the FWD, not only giving me a midfield/forward switch between players, but also a premium midfield i.e
Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Fyfe, Rockliff, Dangerfield, J Selwood, Treloar
For a "first year player" Seem to do alright, no?

        • Ernest says:

Actually, i've played for the last 3 years now.
Scored a 2445 this round by having Rockliff on the VC loophole who got 182 = 364.
Had Zorko who scored what 130? Backed me judgement and kept him when everyone was making gastro jokes. How's the gastro feel now?
His lowest Score has been 41. I'm not going to pick him just because "his a favourite who can pump big scores". Who wants a player who scores 140 then 40? I put Parker in because the guy can give you a consistent score.

      • Kev says:

Depends on your view towards KPP, Ernest. Those who endured a few lean weeks with Cloke/Tex got rewarded this week with big scores.

      • henry says:

hey ernest. good question mate. no real reason to be honest. just very consistent over the years and had a very good 2nd half to the season when he was playing in the mid last season. chose him over franklin. i picked and still have higgins though.

        • Ernest says:

I had Lance last year but just burnt me, same with Birchall.
I can see why people would choose Roughead. The guy HAS the ability to score big but it's too much of a gamble IMO. I'd rather Pav then him.

          • henry says:

true mate. i stayed with zorko all the way aswell. very happy at that. chose tom mitchell over parker (bad decision)

            • Ernest says:

Don't worry mate, i aswell picked Mitchell over Parker, only bought him in this week. But hey it's our opinion who we pick so some work, some don't.

              • henry says:

very true. scored 2345 with enright and mcevoy out. so still very happy. also stuffed up the loop hole and only got pendles 110.

                • Ernest says:

So you were missing 2 and still got 2345? That's pretty good. You must have a pretty strong team.
                  How many prem's you got?

      • Sucks2bu says:

Did your parents really name you Ernest?? Looks like Jaryd has one up on you there!!

  2. scano says:

    Time to bring in Hanley?

    • SCaddict says:

Didn't think I would say this but Jaensch continues to defies his doubters which up until now also included myself.

Was always planning to get Hanley in as my last premo defender but his injuries and Jaensch's continued solid form has now got me seriously weighing up these two lads.

Gotta say I'm now leaning towards the Crow with their fairly appealing Supercoach finals draw against 3 teams currently in the bottom third of the ladder.

Lions have a shocking final 4 rounds of the season in comparison. Hard to ton up when your team is getting spanked along with the risk that Hanley tweaks a string again.

  3. scano says:

    Thoughts on Jamie Elliot?

  4. John says:

Hold or trade Wingard if names

    • SCaddict says:

Would surely keep him. If he pumps out a huge tonne this week it will drive you stir crazy if you've tossed him after one stinker.

      • throttlefinger says:

Brought him in when my gut said Bird. Funny thing how I usually dispense the "go with your gut" advice yet don't seem to follow it myself. Like Jim from Gippland said, best moves seem to be made right after the round rather than overthinking it.

But agree. Sticking with him at this point.

        • SCaddict says:

I saw one of your tweets last week and was convinced you brought in Birdman.

So when he went bang and racked up the touches again I was thinking oh well at least one thing worked out well for Throttle this season ha ha.

          • Big ring says:

So what’s the thoughts in bird? I haven’t actually watched him play, just followed his scores.
Is he proven? Is he gonna be playing whatever role he’s playing the rest of the season? Anyone know the reasons for his early bad scores? Seems like a pretty good, cheap outside pick…

            • SCaddict says:

Birdy is a very good role player. Has been given freedom lately to win the ball and use it but Horse could very easily change his role back to more a lock down forward which he's done before. McGlynn is another versatile Swan whose role can change from month to month too.

Anyway we probably have missed the boat on Birdy as he's nearly hit $500K now. I'd rather spend a bit more and get in a Parker or Gray or a bit less and get in a Buddy or Dixon. He's a legit alternative no doubt but not for me.

          • throttlefinger says:

Ha. Win some, lose some, SCaddict.

    • The Garbo says:

      hold

    • WombatsFC says:

Dump him John. He's had a lot more than a single stinker, 10, 53, 70, 81, 83, and a best of only 104 isn't good enough from a bloke who cost $531k at the start. IMO there's more low score pain to come from Chad.

      • throttlefinger says:

Hey Womby. Your suggestion with Tippett may be a nice liniment to that wound. Just need to decide between Buckley and Billings who to ditch to make it possible.

        • WombatsFC says:

          Hey Throttle how you doin?
Backline injuries have crucified me this year and if it weren't for a blue called sam getting a lot of time in the middle I'd be well and truly stuffed.

          • throttlefinger says:

You were always keen on him. Done well for the up/down Blues. Speaking of, probably got to let go of Iron's boy. BE pretty high and form is sliding.

Glad to see you've been kicking A in the Tdome.

What do you think about Goodes? Tippett still the one to snag in Bloods Big 3?

            • WombatsFC says:

I understand about Jimmys boy and can't help thinking he's being played out of position.
Goodes is a champion through to the bone he won a Brownlow as a ruck and another as a midfielder and he is still capable a few high 100's but, for consistency the forgotten Tippett is a lock for me.

              • throttlefinger says:

Agree. Goodes is a roller coaster where Tippett seems like a rocket.

Mick has made things harder not easier for him to play in the big time. Off he goes…

  5. Sleepy says:

HI Jock, Higgo and the Crouching One and all at flapping tarps and community. The Supercoach Gods beat me up bad this week. Had my team set and thought I'll be OK. Had to work Thursday til I got home about an hour ago and checked how I went. BLOODY HELL my back line Enright, Walker, Webster, Hartigan, and Cutler. Mids Swan, and Boyd who I had the C on. Fwd Wingard and Lynch GCS. What more can I say?

  6. David says:

Reckon we should hold on Wingard he's not the worst F6 possition player come finals time. Should be good from now on, that knock to the head will have a positive effect and should be consistent on the 80-100 for the rest of the year :)

P.s. Take note that this is my positive spin.

    • Peter P? says:

He is up and down like a yo-yo.
      Much better options.

    • SCaddict says:

I think that's the smartest play David unless you have a whole bunch of trades left.

Sideways trading at round 12 has a decent potential of ending in tears, less one precious trade.

Wingard is a quality player and will likely rebound strongly next weekend, assuming he plays.

    • The Garbo says:

Shouldnt have got him to begin with! But yer definately hold him till we get closer to end of season. Then make a decision to hold or go BANG

    • The Mullet says:

I haven't got him. But with that 10 score rolling through his average I see an opportunity. If you have a Lloyd/Ambrose type in your FWDs, in a week or 2 in won't be a massive step to trade one of them to Wingard. I'll be happy to have him as a F6 and use his DPP status to help plug midfield holes if required. The important point is (apart from last week), he is in good form. He is just getting FWD SC scores instead of MID SC scores. He doesn't look like a player with 2nd year blues. Hold the faith.

  7. Jpants says:

Gday fellas scoring a sold 2530 this week :) looking to upgrade both fasolo and langdon this week… and have 290k in the kitty…. was looking to do Langdon > Burgoyne or Hibberd? which one would u suggest… and in the fwd line dont know who to get but should have around 530k? Help community would appreciate it?

    • henry says:

get hurn for langdon mate! saves more cash to upgrade fas and hurn is playing very well.

    • Mathew says:

Yeh dont mind hurn but if your looking for a solid week in week out scorer i like hibbered mate

      • Branks says:

        I'd get Hibberd and Franklin.

        • Captain joc says:

Get hibberd and for fwd have a look at buddy, Dahlhaus lots of options

          • Azmataz says:

Yeah jump on Hibberd mate. Can't go wrong. Which forwards do you have already? I personally wouldn't go Buddy in the fwd line. Parker is a better option if you don't have him. I would also consider holding Fasolo as he could still give you premium output and has a BE of only 43.

            • GarglesnarfFC says:

Agree with Azmataz. Hibberd and hold.

              • Jpants says:

Thanks for the feedback everyone!!! im going with Langdon > Hiiberd… meaning next week fasolo will gain be some more cash to get in gray :) thanks community

  8. David says:

No to Burgoyne we have seen the best of him and think he will eventually only avg high 80's for the rest of the year.
Hibberd a great option and still upside to him.
Michael Johnson is nearly as solis as Hibberd too just food for thought!

    • The Garbo says:

Johnson a better option than hibberd. Same price, plays in a better team, avg the same but has broken the ton more than hibberd.

  9. The Garbo says:

LeCras has pumped out some good scores and still under 430k (most likely).
Is he a good player for the Fwd5/6 spot?

    • Bellybuttonfluff says:

I keep looking at him over and over but have to remember I know him as LeGlass.

    • SCaddict says:

Would avoid Lecrap. Just too injury prone. Think Buddy and Zorko or even Tex and Goodesy are better prospects for the money.

Dixon is also worth considering for ruck cover purposes especially if you already have Thurlow on your ruck bench.

    • The Garbo says:

Lecras to leglass to lecrap — well that escalated quickly lol!
I keep looking at him and might still take the punt. He has already had his yearly injury.
TeX seems like the other option. Is cheap enough to loophole so I Dont have to risk the occasional key forward flop.

  10. The Garbo says:

Treloar (516k) avg 111 prior to todays game. Tonned it up again today. Worth a spot in the mid?

    • SCaddict says:

You could do a lot worse. However I reckon you could extract maximum value by waiting for a fallen elite to bottom out like a Steven Johnson who could be not much more than that in a couple of weeks. Griffen is also available right now for similar coins and Jock is backing him to the hilt to produce the goods.

If you are not interested in those guys or already have them then you could patiently wait for someone else to plummet whether it be a JPK, Pendles or a Libba…who could say. Will there be more fallen elites over the next 10 weeks? In the words of Chris Scott there is "nothing surer!" :)

      • Captain joc says:

I don’t understand why everyone keeps considering Griffen his not doing too well this year especially if he gets tagged

        • The Garbo says:

Griffen can be a very damaging player and teams know that. They also know that its easier to tag him outve the game over players like Boyd and libba.
Great player but unless he gets let off the leash he’s going to struggle to be a top mid option.imo

          • The Garbo says:

And Yer I might stick to my plan and wait for Steve J to drop. Or keep the last mid spot open in hopes of a premo to fall

  11. Hazey says:

Dammit full lockout…hurry up n finish so I can start trading!

  12. Will says:

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit,
Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in the fruit cellar.
    I'm bloody Jock Reynolds.
    Love your work mate.

  13. RooBoy says:

    Hi Community,
Anyone do better than 2642 for the week?….Hope to be a chance for the $1K !

  14. SCaddict says:

Can't believe all this chatter on ditching Wingard after just one game from hell. Sounds like he will be fine to play next week or will miss one game at most.

A couple of weeks ago he was flavour of the month, proclaimed far and wide that he was a bargain buy that was just about to hit his straps. I never really bought into that line of thinking and looked elsewhere myself but now everyone is dumping his stock like it's the second coming of Enron.

All I can say is you folks must have a heck of lot more trades than I do at this advanced stage of proceedings. I'm glad I didn't ditch Zorko after one shocker. The opportunity for corrective trades was like about 9 weeks ago!

    • Peter p says:

Zorko much more consistent. His down was via a virus.

      • GarglesnarfFC says:

Wingard got knocked unconscious by a team mate. He is still a top 8 fwd for mine, only difference now is that he is a bargain for those that don't have him.

        • throttlefinger says:

Great point Gargle. Sticking with him and hoping for the best. Just like I am for Burgoyne, Thompson and Zorko.

          • Derek says:

Wingard was subbed out, but it was fairly late in the game and he was not getting any of the ball. he scored 10 points from near 3/4 of the game. I won't be getting him in. NRoo same price!!

    • dognino says:

I've had wingard from the start and couldn't believe all the talk about people wanting to get him in, has been very inconsistent and his big games where he kicks 5 , he still only just manages a ton.

Can't afford to trade him out tho as he has lost over $100k and I don't have the trades to do it anyways

      • Captain joc says:

I’ve started the season with the chad when he had that one week ankle injury I got rid of him as there was no news on him he came back the next week but hasn’t looked to flash was considering getting him back in at 424k but the fact that he would kick 5 and only just ton up steered me away and when he got a 10 this week I had a massive smile on my dial!!!

    • GarglesnarfFC says:

Reports are that he won't play this week. I still won't trade him out though, will try to upgrade either Lloyd to Zorko or swing Shenton fwd.

  15. michael says:

Problem areas for me are Enright, Lloyd and now Taylor who after this round is probably ready to slaughter. Have $160K in bank and need 1 premo mid & 2 premo fwds to have full on field premos? Any suggestions?

    • Mike says:

Err yes, listen to the bloody podcast, it was full of them.

    • SCaddict says:

Would hang on to Enright if he plays this week. You have enough right now to go from Lloyd to either Goodesy or Tex.

Not convinced just yet that either will average 100 plus for the rest of the season but 85-90 is definitely doable which is terrific value for $340K and an F6 positioning.

    • The Garbo says:

Tex could be a great F7 option to keep loopholing each week. How many trades left? mid season you should be a bit more conservative with your trades if possible

  16. Dom says:

    Whats the news on Mcevoy?

    • SCaddict says:

You will have to wait for an official injury update midweek Dom but as it was just a corked though there should be a strong likelihood that Big Boy plays the next game.

  17. Mathew says:

I have one M8 spot to fill and one F6 spot to fill to be full premo.. The two im looking at are sloan and gray but not enough cash to get both just yet
Who do people think will be the better in? Either way it will be taylor out for them, forward or mid
    Thanks community

    • Captain joc says:

They are both pretty consistent this year sloane has only dropped under 100 once and that was a 83 and his a workhouse yet gray had a pair of 79 as his only scores under 100 gray is 5k dearer so they are pretty tight contest I’m thinking maybe lean towards grey because he has fwd/mid eligibility can’t go wrong with either player

      • Mathew says:

Thanks CJ but i was more looking at if anyones got and advice as who i should bring in priority
Im pretty sure I will be bringing in both of them over the next few weeks but was more thinking gray will probably stay around that 550 mark when sloan could go up to 600 (save 50K) yet if i do that I will lose taylors mid/fwd swing for a couple weeks
        Thanks for the advice

        • Azmataz says:

I would go Gray as top priority. He is a must have fwd and the mid-fwd swing is gold. Fwd line should be upgraded first along with defence.

    • The Garbo says:

Gray – fwd premo options are limited. Value for GREAT mids will still be available as the season progresses + there is a lot more options to look at in the mid. So no rush

  18. Captain joc says:

Ok looking to upgrade Langdon this week got 190k can either bring in a fwd or mid for him as def is full premo

    So got 606k to spend

    Forward or midfield? Any ideas?

  19. Azmataz says:

Best trade of the season for me so far- Polec to Rockliff. A cool 140 odd point difference. Ended up with 2502 this week, my best score ever. Thats with Shenton on the bench and Taylor on ground

  20. Noah says:

Is it worth getting in Michael Barlow this week, considring Ihave Fyfe in the same midfield, or are there better options, I know Rossy doesn’t mind the rest. Cheers

  21. MightyDonsFC says:

    Thoughts on Ben Mcglynn?

    • wes says:

love him as a Dual Pos fwd mid option.
I have to get rid of polec, and he is an option there for me. And the swans are playing irresistible footy at present.
Only thought there is possible too many stars in swans team for him to be consistent prem. Seen that in the Pies with sidebum, beams, pendles and swan – they all cannot get 100s each round… can they?

      • Sleepy says:

Out of those four it seems only Swan missing out on tonning up but I reckon being the champ that he is he will soon turn that around

    • SCaddict says:

Perhaps too much of a role player for the Swans although his midfield time is definitely up from previous seasons.

No question he's performing darn well right now but doubt he will finish a top 12 forward for the season which is all we should be concerned with right now.

  22. Sarah says:

What do people think of Mark LeCras? $428k…
Only sub-80 score for the year was due to an arm injury… averaging 99 even with that score of 20.

    • wes says:

      HI Sarah
answered above in prev post… most opinion is he is a bit injury prone. Can put out good scores, but risky option with injury clouds looming constantly over him like they did wile e coyote.

      • Sarah says:

Thanks Wes, must've missed that comment!

        • Kev says:

I asked the same question last week, Sarah. Got a 'high risk, high reward' answer. He is currently my F6, more than happy with a 134 this week! Tackled like a man possessed

          • Sarah says:

Thanks Kev. I didn't see the game myself. Did he play through the midfield at all?

  23. Guest says:

Jacobs to nic nat? nic nat has looked good for a couple of weeks now. I know its a sideways trade but it would save me cash to upgrade a rookie. Thoughts?

    • Sleepy says:

If you have Sandi I would trade him before Jacobs. Due for a rest and Jacobs only one bad game.

      • GarglesnarfFC says:

Jacobs suffered a groin strain in the game yesterday which is a potential worry. I wouldn't trade him out until the injury reports come out later this week.

  24. wes says:

    Hi Community,
    Thoughts on Shaun Higgins…
With dual fwd/def status, and with Langdon still in my team, I've thoughts on losing Langdon. Question is, do I move Higgins into my DEF and replace with a fwd?
So – where are there better mid-pricer options and who would you chose in that section (def or fwd)?

BTW – I play on afl fantasy site so this score may not sound so great to you as they score differently there. But I cracked the 2200 point barrier for the first time ever this weekend. Last year I could bear get to 2000. Largely thanks to the Community. Cheers guys and gals!!!!

    • Tony says:

Higgins is not dual status …

      • wes says:

am on afl fantasy and he in there – dpp def/fwd.
they changed it half way through season – nice for me.
I come on here cos it is the best site for info, the $$ and pts values don't match, but the correlate nicely far as who is going up and down. that, and there is nothing else around for the afl version.
with that in mind, any ideas??

        • Cozza says:

Walker is not a bad mid-priced FWD option in AFL fantasy. Averaging 84 after taking a couple of weeks to get used to the pace. Priced at $316,380 in fantasy with BE of 16, so price will only be increasing from here. He has only increased $30k from his initial price, so there is not a massive difference there.

Other options are Zorko ($402K), Le Cras ($447k), Elliott ($444k), Franklin ($445k), although they are all fairly expensive.

          • wes says:

            thanks Cozza
Tex seems a really good F6 option for me.
Ended up going Polec/Langdon out – Higgins to def, Tex into F6 and Craig Bird into M8
I've had Elliott for a couple rounds.
My fwd line is basically all smalls, and mostly mid/fwds except for Tex now. BUt I rekcon you are right on that one.
Bird in M8… ?? Do you know the BE on him? must be low-ish.
Really want McGlynn and was 10k shy… and had to lose polec, so not much I could do there.
Bird a bit erratic, but I can perhaps cope with that in M8

  25. john d says:

another great podcast Jock. community I need your thoughts! I have one F6 spot fill. not sure who to upgrade out of Langdon and Langford. upgrading Langdon will leave me more cash in the bank vs upgrade Langford and leaving me Langdon as a solid bench player.
note: have Georgiou as my other bench player.
    Thanks!

    • john d says:

      sorry that's D6

      • Sleepy says:

who are the other players you have in defence and how much cash will you have. Also how many trades left?

        • john d says:

          Swallow Bartel McVeigh Langford
          Hibberd Langdon Enright Georgiou
have $255k in the bank. 10 trades left
if I upgrade Langford for Michael Johnson(for example) It'll leave me $87k in the bank compare to upgrading Langdon leaving me 170k in the bank.
I need the cash to upgrade my M8 and F6 then I ll have a full premo team

          • WombatsFC says:

I'd keep Langdon. He will play every game and will be invaluable as playing bench cover on 2 lines, Langford was lucky to play this week. Downgrading a bench mid to a non-playing mid/def like hunt will open the swing gates and give you enough cash to turn Langford into a Premo and give loopholes on both lines.

            • john d says:

exactly what im thinking this morning. Langdon to cover both back and mid bench. thanks WombatsFC and everyone.

          • Captain joc says:

I’m with wombats on this one I think you should trade Langford but if he gets another game I’d hold him for a week

    • The Garbo says:

Comes down to how much cash you have. Langford found some SC form in the past 4 games. And is due for another price rise. Langdon with a 109BE is now competing again with fasolo though Maxwell injury could be a blessing for him.

      • john d says:

Langford is a late inclusion last week. Just not sure if he will play all year to be a bench cover vs trading out Langdon will leave me extra 80-90k in the bank that I can use to upgrade my other lines.

        • The Garbo says:

I was surprised he wasn’t named in the best 22. From the games I’ve watched, he looks like he’s a good tagger and has been an asset for the hawks.

  26. Black Mumba says:

Avoid Crimmo's "get him in's" like the black plague! Ryan Griffin – BADOOMP, Chad Wingard – BADOOMP after last weeks Todd GOLDSTEIN – BADOOMP, Sam Gibson – BADOOMP and the week before Dane Swan – BADOOMP!!!

    • Mozz says:

      What about Goddard? Ward? Elliot?

      • Black Mumba says:

You needed the 'get him in" section to convince you to get goddard, libba, ward etc??? Thats as bad as waynes captain obvious pick of Shenton last week?? Plz, no-one was thinking of that were they!!?

    • The Garbo says:

I made the move for goldstein on the gamble he'd return to form. I really gotta stop gambling! lol

  27. Sleepy says:

Hi Jock and crew, in podast you mention did Basil Zempilas play footy? He played for West Perth in the WAFL from 1990 – 94. Welcome

  28. Forbesy says:

Jacobs > Nic Nat? Frees up a bit of cash

    • glen20 says:

if you have sandilands i would downgrade to nic nat instead, he's due for a rest.

archie smith for brissie could be a rookie ruck option shortly as leppitsch has said he may come in to fill the void left by trent west

      • FlyingHigh says:

Sandi just had a bye why would he need another rest now? He will be rested between round 20-22

  29. Avzmo says:

Hey guys, got a problem in defence and wondering who I should move on.

My defence currently is McVeigh, Swallow, Jaensch, Suckling, Dunn, Langdon, Kolodjashnij, Clurey.

The first three there I am quite happy to hang on to as they have been quite consistent so happy to have them there to the end. My question is which of Suckling, Dunn, Langdon, Kolodjashnij should be moved on, and in what order?

I've got defenders in mind should I move someone on so not so much looking for ideas on who to move in, so much as who to move out.

    Please community, help me out!!

    • The Garbo says:

Dunn and Langdon would be the two id put on the block.
Dunn Not making money, and not helping your team most weeks (bit hit and miss).
Langdon I think is sitting around his peak. Has a BE 109. Only positive is if Maxwell doesnt get named he should have a solid output this week, otherwise hes done his job and brought in a potential 300k for you.

Suckling I would delay chopping a bit longer. He's been in good form and taking advantage of Hawks injuries. I expect that to continue and BE 51

No point wasting a trade on clurey. KK id be happy with sitting on the pine for a little longer.

  30. Mike says:

Langford is due to make a bunch of cash next game. Hold for now. I'm thinking of dumping Derix, though that leaves no cover I doubt he'll be in the team if Pyke is back anyway with Tippet and others filling the backup role on field. I only hope Sandi avoids a rest as I can't spare a trade for only one donut. So looking at Taylor to Selwood this week if Selwood looks to be clear of injury. Thanks to the community for the Shenton tip last week, he's got my last forward on field spot for the foreseeable future.

  31. Cameron says:

Best forward option under 522k? (Already got Dangerfield, Parker, Martin and Wingard)

    • Avzmo says:

Dahlhaus has been good all year save for one bad game this week against Fremantle. Or you could try the power forward root and try for Franklin. But I'd go Dahl first.

    • The Garbo says:

Def Dahlhaus – gets a lot of the pill. Couldve had a sweet score this week but 50% DE hurt him.
LeCras could be a cheap option (injury prone though)

  32. Mark says:

    Hey guys,

I have polec who has to go this week. I can’t wait for prices to go down. Would u get sloane, s Johnson or Barlow. Cheers

    • Mozz says:

      Sloane

    • Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

Sloane. Have a look who Stevie J plays in first week of supercoach finals, Freo (Crowley) towelled him 2 weeks ago. Buyer beware with SJ

      • The Garbo says:

Cheers for that pieman – was seriously considering him as my final mid. May now rethink that

        • Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

I was planning to go Tyson to SJ till I saw his late season draw. After the sucsess of what Crowley did to him 2 weeks ago it's bound to happen again!

    • The Garbo says:

I still like Polec (and have him), copped a hard tag from Cross – who tends to have the tag job on the lesser mids (like Macrae).
Im going to gamble on riding out this cash loss with the bet that he'll head back up to the 470k mark closer to finals where I will then pull the trigger. I dont want to be wasting trades with so much of the season to be played.

But regarding your Q. I like Sloane. Broke the ton in all but one game. Barlow – I dont trust that Ross Lyons wont burn me when it matters in finals, with the dreaded rest. SJ is a champ but as Pieman pointed out beware crowley in rd1 of finals

    • WombatsFC says:

      I'd go Barlow.

    • crabb says:

Go for a dpp mate – Parker's etc. then you can get rid of polec whilst still waiting for mid's prices to go down.

    • Cozza says:

      Barlow for mine

  33. Mozz says:

I personally think that this time of the seasno is another time of hibernation. We've all used heaps of trades during the bye rounds, and now most of us are sitting around the 15-10 trades mark with still a half of the season to go.

I have a few upgrades to go (still have lloyd, taylor) but i'm going to wait out a few more rounds. Lloyd if picked will go up in price and if not picked can be used as a loophole for my other bench players (Shenton & Ambrose). I'm sitting on 12 trades and want to have 6 for finals, leaving me with 6 for the next 8 rounds. With 97k in the bank, I feel that my upcoming trades will be the 'paint the fence' analogy, meaning that I will be comducting two trades over 3 rounds. This means that for 5 of the upcoming 8 rounds I will not be trading.

If there is anyone out there with the same amount of trades as me, my advice would be for you to HOLD your trades for this week at least. You want to be trading in players who are peaking at the end of the season, not now.

    • The Garbo says:

Im in EXACTLY the same boat. Have lloyd taylor shenton ambrose. Am using Lloyd as loophole for shenton/Ambrose. have 100k in bank and 12 trades. But I really am thinking of using one trade this week. Tempted to do fasolo to lecras. or a paint the fence trade to I dunno yet.

      • Mozz says:

Fasolo's break even is only 45 this week, so his price will still probably rise. If you are thinking of going Fasolo to Lecras, you'll be stuck with Lecras for the rest of the season. So make sure that you trade in a keeper!

I will be painting the fence in probably 2 weeks. Hallahan in the MID OUT, swing Shenton into the MIDS and then will be able to upgrade to a fwd premo (will downgrade maybe Taylor or Lloyd to a non playing rookie for finals loophole option or one that's on the bubble)

Take a few deep breaths, and make sure that you aren't jumping the gun with your trades this week

        • The Garbo says:

You do talk some common sense!
Fasolo I always planned on trading him out last. SO moving on him this week is solely due to LeCras having a 5BE meaning if he tons up he'll go up in price by 40k. And with no Lake, Mitchell and Gibson to strengthen hawks backline LeCras has a good chance to do it – and yes I do think LeCras is a keeper (bar another injury).

The next two-three weeks I'll be TRYING to sit tight then i'll be following you with a paint the fence trade. The only thing that I will consider in the next couple is rookies on the bubble or if I think my rookies have peaked (like taylor or mcdonald).

I also like how your completing your fwds before the mids. smart

    • Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

10 trades with Thumper, Tyson & Higgins to upgrade. They are scoring reasonably well, so any further trades in the coming weeks will be with extreme caution. Long way to go with 10 trades. If I went Sandi to Nic Nat & used the cash to upgrade all 3 i'd be left with 6 for the rest of the season. Ouch

      • Mozz says:

I would only trade Sandi out when he has not been named.

        • Mathew says:

10 trades left with only a M8 and F6 spot left
Holding trades this week and maybe next aswell depending on how taylor goes and will be moving him onto gray using 2 trades then hold Lloyd (syd) and shenton untill peak (hopefully a couple weeks after that) then move on to another full premo hopefully using only 1 but 2 if needed then that will be me done

          • Mozz says:

That sounds like a pretty good plan. I'm thinking that Taylor will peak in 1-2 weeks so you're right in thinking to trade him off then and holding now.

      • The Garbo says:

At least Tyson and Higgins are scoring and not being a burden. Could def hold them for a while longer. and conserve trades

    • The Mullet says:

I'm in a similar position and in 100% agreement Mozz. Now is the time to conserve some trades. We are only 1/2 way through the season and injury trades will still bite. We need to allow for that. Unless one of my targetted end of year players hits their low price point, I'll be trying to avoid trading. Best to allow a bit of time for Lloyd/Ambrose/Cameron types to hopefully rise a bit more while Steve J etc drop.

    • WombatsFC says:

Kurt Tippet will not get any cheaper. Why? Because he wont score less than 90 for the rest of this year and he will pump out a few 120+. Swans tactics revolve around isolating Tippet to give a one-on-one deep forward. Anybody who has Wingard should smother the flames with Kurt.

    • Cozza says:

I agree and, like you (and it seems most people), in a similar position. I have 2 premos still to get in and 11 trades left, but need some of my rookies to make more $$ to trade them out – have Taylor, Hartung, Shenton, Cameron and Ambrose as my rookies to upgrade, but want them to increase more before I pull the trigger. Sitting 1st in 3 leagues, 3rd in one and 4th in another, so not in an urgent need to chase more points. I think I'll be sitting a couple of weeks to bring in my last two premos.

  34. Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

Was thinking K JolodJashnij (Thumper) might be a keeper. Great first quarter 40 odd points & a great goal from outside 50. After that I dont think he touched the ball again till the last quarter. Got totally shut out of the game. That's a big corncern. I will give him another week. What everyone else doing with him?

    • Beady Eye says:

Holding, along with Langdon, to see who survives as bench cover and who becomes Sam Mitchell after his return and subsequent price drops.

  35. HiltonKid says:

Thoughts on my trades will be left with 7 trades if I do them both , should I hold on to both of them , should I do only one of them (Which one) or do both…. would love to know your thoughts community!

    Enright to Jaensch

    Wingard to Gunston

  36. Wild says:

    - Sub Shenton into forward line for Roughead
    – trade roughhead to Hanley
    – sub Hanley to Langdon
    – trade Langdon to rockliff
    Thoughts? 11 trades left.
Leaves my team looking bare in the foward line with Fasolo, Shenton & Ambrose ( impey and lennon)
Will probably need to use 2 trades next week to get it up to scratch

    • Beady Eye says:

My thought is you get the gold star in Jock's Swingsets 101 class.

    • The Garbo says:

I mainly just like the langdon to rockliff.
BUT maybe you should look for some value instead. 628k for rocky is a LOT to pay. especially with only 11 trades left. and most likely having to do one up and one down for each one of your remaining spots.

Still a long season to go

      • Mathew says:

Hold back another week and pick up Steven johnson for $550?
If your forward line is guna look bare because of it why not more focus on that? langdon could be used as a D6 and roughead maybe a F6

Alot of people are looking at jumping on rockliff after a 149 avg last 3 but his alot of money especially when you have 11 trades and work needed forward lots more value all over the board
Also look at his last 4 (our finals week) Crows Pies Freo Cats.. tough games with great taggers

Maybe focus forward and look at a zorko or buddy to bring in maybe?
        Good luck

        • SCaddict says:

Think it's hard to justify bringing in a mid for over $600K now unless their names are either Ablett or Pendlebury.

Yes Stevie J is who I have my eye on too. Should make for a handy Cotch upgrade for only a modicum of coins in a couple of weeks from now.

  37. The Garbo says:

May be a bit early – But who are people picking as C/VC this week.
    Im tossing up between
VC Ablett and C Pendles (because of the schedule)
    or
    VC Jelwood and C Ablett

    • Mathew says:

Im playing an easy win so im looking at VC ablett C dal santo.. playing tigers could pay off
But if anyone else would be sticking with the first i like it
Only problem is when ablett pulls a 130 or something will you take it :)

      • The Garbo says:

Normally my rule is VC ideally needs +140 for me not to leave the C on Ablett and play it safe. So 130 from ablett i'd prob take it, as my oppnt will prob do the same.
If Jackson doesnt get up this week NDS could be a sweet C choice!

    • Billy says:

if you have libba chuck the vc on him. in red hot form and vs brisbane

  38. Matt says:

Hi community! I’m wondering what to do with Polec. Polec > Zac O’brien worth the cash generation? Keep in mind this means playing one of O’brien or Hartung on the field as M8

    • Mathew says:

How much cash do you have?
I wouldnt mind sitting back one more week for obrien dont forget he kicked the goal to put the lions back in front after that 50 he was awarded.. would have been a few points awarded just for that
See how he goes this week not going up in price yet either
      Could you upgrade polec?

    • Mozz says:

Do not get O'brien this week. Need to see what he does next week. Remember early on in the season everyone jumped on Sam Gray (Port) after his massive score and now he's gone nowhere. I would be inclined to upgrade Polec if you can, or hold for another week and if O'brien performs again THEN get him in,

    • Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

      Upgrade him for sure

      • Matt says:

Upgrade to JKP or a cheaper premo like sloan, Watson, Johnson etc? My mids listed in comment below

    • The Garbo says:

      Hold Polec or Upgrade Only

    • WombatsFC says:

      Polec>O'Brien Hartung>Zorko

      • MightyDonsFC says:

        Or just polec>Zorko

      • JX20 says:

Noted O'Brien's score went nuts when he kicked that goal after the 50. Buyer beware, he looked at sea on occasions.

      • Matt says:

I already have zorko. I have $100k in the bank and want to get the best premium to take the last mid spot. I have ablett, pendles, selwood, beams, swan, rockliff and cotchin already. I want JPK and could downgrade langford for the cash to afford that. JPK is expensive but an elite premium and not in many teams.

        Thoughts?

  39. Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

Hope Sauce Jacobs spuds are ok for this week. They needed the jaws of life to get them out after that knee from danger. That was a very nasty blow. That woud be excused for "general spud soreness"

  40. julz says:

Interested in the esteemed community's thoughts on the following:

    (1) Could Shaun Higgins be a keeper?!! Was gonna upgrade him to Gray or Parker this week but if he keeps cranking out tons could save a trade…

    (2) Altenatively, is it time to get rid of Nick Riewoldt for one of the above? Riewoldt tries his guts out but as SK get beaten most weeks seems to be scoring a lot lower now.

    (3) Also interested if people are getting on the Buddy train, especially those of us like myself who have not had him stain our SC underpants thus far this year. I'm still not convinced but interested on others thoughts?

    • True_Roo says:

      1) In the same boat. Bulldogs last four: STK, NM, SYD, GWS. Mixed bag at the pointy end of the season so would look to trade him later on. He's done enough to let us focus on other trades this week.

      2) NRoo will have to go. The game isn't swinging his way. Wingard presents a solid sideways trade, though the community has a mixed opinion on the kid.

      3) Yes. Tippett enables Buddy to play more freely – as Roughie did for him at the hawks. At his current price, Buddy is a great value pick for F4/5

  41. The Mullet says:

I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been more chatter about bringing Buddy in. I did last week, and here are my reasons-
    1. Tippet is back and looks settled. This frees Buddy up to play higher up the ground.
    2. The Swans have 5 more games at the SCG. If you are outside the 50 metre arcs at the short SCG ground you are basically a midfielder, with a midfielder's scoring potential. I see this as the significant difference to his days at Hawthorn.
    3. The Swans have a good draw from here on, other than playing Port twice (once at the SCG).
    4. Buddy has an enormous ceiling. And he has the potential to churn out a some big scores from here on. In my view, much more likely than Petrie, Roughy and even Cloke (although he may be on the rise).
    5. He has Richmond at ANZ stadium for the SC Grand Final. I don't think that would fill any Buddy owners with trepidation. In fact, if Richmond doesn't start improving, Buddy could tear them a new one.
    6. The off field stuff seems to have quietened down a bit. Its always a risk, but he might be a bit more focussed now.

Of course, there are some provisos-
    A. Buddy's current role depends on Tippett filling the deep forward role reliably week in, week out.
    B. Lots of people don't like KPFs. I believe there is room for one. But if you already have Cloke/Roughy etc, another one is going to cause some heartburn.

    • Mike says:

I agree Buddy could be a great option, but due to my low trade numbers I'll have to give him a miss. Good finals draw, will prob score well from here on. He looks to be taking marks again. At least I get to enjoy him being a Swans supporter.

    • GarglesnarfFC says:

BURNMAN……… Trade in at own risk

    • WombatsFC says:

More suprised that no one has touted Tippett. Comes in late in the season and averaging 99 in his first 3 and has the whole forward 40 to himself for 1-on-1 contests against comparatively tiny KPD.

  42. The Garbo says:

Goldstein…. What is up with him? Any chance he’ll return to 2013 form?

    • John says:

Very frustrating year for us owners considering we paid the same price for him as Dangerfield. Although not many other ruckmen have played extremely well. All of his scores under 85 have come against pretty good ruckmen in Hmac, Sandi, Cox/Nicnat and Minson. His highest score has been 101 but has scored between 85-101 6 out of 10 times. Has Richmond who he scores alright against then Adelaide who he has a low score of 98 in five appearances. Does still have to play Melbourne twice with his last 3 scores being 158,142 and 158 against them.

      • The Garbo says:

Rucks have been a pain this season! I'm very tempted to go goldy to nicnat and cut my losses.

        • Tommy says:

these 80's are killing…if he doesnt get going next few I'll chop

          • The Garbo says:

Thankfully Goldy manages a fair few hit outs to advantage otherwise he’d be in a lot of trouble. North seem reluctant to go through Goldy with the ball. Or even kicking to him for a chance at a mark.

  43. Patrick says:

hey all, had a par week with 2208 but i had wingard and lewis taylor on field and cotchin.
Need some help though with trades this week !

B: Mcveigh, Hibberd, Johnson, Birchall, Langford, Suckling (Geogiou, tippet)
M: GAZ, cotch, selwood, dal santo, beams, smurph, goddard, bartel (hartung, J. Llyod)
    R: Sandi, Goldy (Dericks, King)
F: Dangerfield, martin, parker, wingard, dahlhaus, Taylor (Ambrose, Lloyd)

I only have 24k in the bank.

Was thinking Langford > Def rookie
Suckling > Pendles (via bartel swing)

Would love some advice please all!!

    • toonking says:

      how many trades left?

    • Itchy Nuts Pieman says:

I would trade Derrickx to a rookie & make some cash. Then hit the trade on Langford swing Bartel to defence, then effectively trade Langford for a 500K midfielder.

      • toonking says:

Likewise I would get rid of Derrickx for the new Brissy ruckman to generate some cash and put Bartel into defense and get rid of Langford

        • Patrick says:

yer sounds good guys, with pyke coming back dericks might find it hard to keep his spot!
What midfielder do i get with my 530k?

          • Wisdom says:

who is the rookie ruckmen for brisbane??
Also are there any rookie backmen to look out for.
Patrick i dont mind getting pendles in but it looks like there aren't any backline rookies for around 125k

            • Patrick says:

cheers for the wisdom, wisdom ;)
im torn between the following trades:

              Option 1:
              Suckling > Pendles (via bartel)
              Langford > Bews

              Option 2:
              Langford > Swallow
Dericks > A. Smith (new brisbane ruck men)

Which one do we reckon please, or other trades? Thanks guys

  44. MightyDonsFC says:

To all those considering going sandilands>Nic Nat this week, do you have Tom Derickx?

1.Derickx>Smith With West and Leuenberger going down Brisbane look extremely likely to upgrade Smith
2.Lloyd>Parker/Dahlhaus Not sure which one at the moment.
    130k leftover
Derickx to Smith generates 190k and doesn't effect my score, Sandilands to Natanui will generate 160k and although the natanui of old looks to be back I'd back sandilands in any day to score more than him.

    • The Garbo says:

Don't know why people would be looking to get rid of big sandilands…. He just had a rest through the byes and is one of the best rucks this season.

Though I do have my eye on who will be Lions main ruck

    • Mike says:

Though Smith is still second in line according to his coach on afl.com I did Derix to Smith today and Taylor to Selwood. No point keeping Derix if he's not playing. Will prob reverse if Pyke is still not back though.

    • GarglesnarfFC says:

Great work MDFC, will now keep an eye out for Smith! Could be very handy if/whenDerikx gets omitted.

  45. Jimmy says:

Looking to get a forward and defense upgrade this week! Which of these options are the best

    a) Hibberd and Walker

    b)Riewoldt and Jaensch/Hanley

  46. Jontoneball says:

People don't be noobes like Scpaige and look at past averages against teams… Don't fall into the trap that Rough will auto get 130 against Gws and Rockliff will get 70 against Carlton. That is my wisdom for the week

  47. Tommy says:

My forward line will bring in 2 key position players this week. I just like them better to be honest. All this stuff about inconsistency is rubbish when you have players like Dahlaus who is supposed to be a lock get 70 then 120. Like why not have punt on a Tippett or a Walker who will absolutely dominate coming back into form and will have a huge ceiling of 150 but even in bad weeks still looking at a 70-90… be brave community

  48. scano says:

Thoughts on Andrew Mackie? Good POD and without the injury scores he is having a great season

  49. scano says:

What do people think about doing a bit of a sideways trade in Langdon to Jaensch/Hanley?

  50. Billy says:

Only need 2 more defenders to get full premo team. for my D5 should i go hanley, jaensch or hurn??

  51. scano says:

Who goes Kolo (thumper) or Langdon?

  52. Anthony says:

will zorko price keep going down?

  53. Anthony says:

Who can i trade T.Cutler out for only have $116.900 left in the bank

    • Tommy says:

Do you need to? Only option I'd consider is Zac O'brien in the mid if you have dpp

    • SCaddict says:

Unless you are forced to play Cutler on field I would hold out and hope a decent defensive rookie presents in the coming weeks. With the Doggies continuing woes will Fuller ever get an opportunity??

If you have to play Cutler then you may be better off increasing your bank by culling a cash cow elsewhere in your squad and then upgrading Cutler to a premo.

It's tough as other than O'Brien in the midfield there aren't really any inviting downgrades targets right now.

  54. Jack says:

Tommy Langdon time to go or hold?

  55. Jack says:

    Sammy Llylod to Shenton? Thoughts

    • Gold Rush says:

Thinking along those lines, but I'm keeping lLoyd as I reckon he will get another crack and will increase another 30K first pop.

    • toonking says:

      yep

    • SCaddict says:

At $222K the ship has pretty much sailed on Shenton. Now that he's bobbed up I wouldn't expect him to keep tonning up as oppositions will probably put a bit more time into shutting him down. So I would expect more moderate output in the 60s or 70s going forward.

With the Tiges in turmoil again perhaps Lloyd will get another go sooner rather than later. I didn't think he was the worst Tiger out there when he got dropped a few weeks back.

    • SCaddict says:

My first suggestion is to consider condensing your team posts. Should only take 4 or 5 lines to post a team not 30 and we all know what the players are worth btw.

Anyway assuming O'Brien is named this week he's about the only decent downgrade target worth looking at right now. However like all newbies you are best waiting until he is on the bubble next week before acquiring im especially given you only have 9 precious trades left. Crouch and Aish are the two obvious contenders to go.

As always team sheets this Thursday may throw up some new potential downgrade options so lets see what we have to work with Thursday night. Maybe Archie Smith will get named for the Lions with Leuey and now West injured and you could consider dumping Blicavs down the track.

      • toonking says:

thanks I just ripped my team out of the website….that's what I thought…wait for O'Brien see how come up…also Blicavs down trade….would you look at moving say a Langdon into the MID 8 just to get some flexibility later on?

        • thunder says:

          hey?

        • SCaddict says:

Having DPP flexibility certainly doesn't hurt but only do that if the individual trades make a lot of sense. Don't force him in there for the sake of it.

Leppa will probably go with the more proven Stefan Martin but I think many of us Supercoaches would love to see Smith get a go as plenty don't have a back-up for our primary rucks.

So I would only get rid of Blicavs if another solid rookie ruck presents. He's valuable cover right now.

  59. Osh says:

Langdon or suckling to Simpson or Hibberd?

    • toonking says:

Suckling to Hibbert – Simpson Overpriced
Wait on Langdon as Maxie is out

    • SCaddict says:

Langdon to Hibberd for me. Langdon's BE is over a tonne and Suckling Pig is only 50. It's also common place for rookies to hit a wall at some point in the second half of the season compared to a more seasoned campaigner like Suckers.

Kade is too overpriced for a premo defender right now. His output will come back to earth eventually so Hibberd probably offers the better value atm.

  60. hmmmmm says:

not sure what to do this week guys
i am going to downgrade shoenmakers
and upgrade either langford to hanley
or L taylor to a premo

    what do u guys think

  61. TigerTuff says:

Should I trade Sam Lloyd to Claye Beams via Shenton's DPP or keep Lloyd hoping he could scrape back into the side and keep his spot therefore saving a trade? Thanks guys

  62. oliver says:

11 trades left and only 12k in the bank with a few players that i want to get rid of. Shuey is really struggling with the tag this year and has been bleeding cash the last few weeks, do i hold him or dump him and if i do get rid of him who would i bring in? Other than that the other trades i may look at would be to get rid of Langdon, though he seems a decent d6 for the time being. The other option would be to downgrade Sheed to a rookie midfielder and bank some much needed funds.

    • SCaddict says:

Yes Sheed down to O'Brien looks a goer to free up $75K but you should really wait until next week after O'Brien has played two games before pulling the trigger on that one.

Langdon to Jaensch is another possibility to consider.

      • oliver says:

already have jaensch but might wait it out this week and save some trades. I've been hit with injuries all season and have a feeling i may need some trades up my sleeves come finals time.

    • Bob McBob says:

I have Shuey as well. It's only round 11, I'd say give Shuey a few more games to try find a way to break the tag.
The eagle know they need Sheuy's influence around the ground and will probably do something in the coming weeks.

In the mean time, try tend to your FWDs and DEFs

      • oliver says:

my forward line is okay at the moment, currently have Martin, Zorko, dangerfield, Dalhouse, rioli and roughead and Cameron and LLoyd on the bench. Might look at flicking roughie later on but willl keep him for now. My defense may need a little touch up i have Swallow, Jaensch, Murphy, Birchall, Hanley, Langdon with Tippett and bews on the bench

    • hmmmmm says:

i got rid of shuey last week for ward, best decision i ever made

    • WombatsFC says:

      IMO. Turn Cyril into Gray

  63. Chris says:

Can I get some advice on my trades for this week..
Scored 2319 last week and had 140K in the kitty

My team at the moment is such:

Swallow, Bartel, Burgoyne, Jaensch, S. Thompson, McDonald. BENCH: Georgieu, Clurey
Ablett, Beams, Selwood, Liberatore, Watson, Dangerfield, Swan, Goddard BENCH: Hallihan, Acres
Sandilands, Nic Nat BENCH: thurlow, king
Martin, Zorko, Higgins, Roughhead, Wright, Lloyd BENCH: Impey, Cameron

Wright has been stuffing around of late and the starting sub last week didnt help. Should i get rid of him?
    I was thinking
    Wright – Nick Riewoldt
    Lloyd – Tex Walker

Is it bad though to bring in 2 key forwards? What would other people do.. 732K to play with between 2 players. 16 trades remaining

    • Ben says:

I'd trade wright to walker, then hold Lloyd because his price won't change because he can't get a game at the moment, then you could get someone like wingard really cheap next week.

    • SCaddict says:

Think those are reasonable trades. It's hard to believe St Nick is now more than $75K cheaper than his cousin.

I guess the only thing to consider is that a lot of punters have now jumped off NRoo in the past month so they obviously have their concerns with both him as well as the Saints ability to get regular and quality ball down to their forward line.

Shame you don't quite have enough funds to go up to Buddy, Zorko or Dixon in addition to Tex. Perhaps you could swap out Wright for Tex this week and then trade out Acres for O'Brien next week and then finally upgrade Lloyd to a $450K premo if he doesn't get a game by then.

      • Benno says:

I'm wondering why you don't have Shenton in your team.. seemed like the obvious trade for Lloyd last week?

Coming off another ripper score probably not too late to throw him in for Lloyd and then Trade up Wright to a 510k premium

      • Chris says:

this is good advice i think, but the only issue is that if i dont trade lloyd then i am playing charlie cameron or impey on field, and they will probably only score 50 points..

an upside is that in my 2 leagues i care about doing good in with my mates i have 2 easy opponents where i will win regardless.. so i could hold off the trades for a week

        • SCaddict says:

If you have a couple of easy kills this week then yes you could take a wait and see approach. Think Tex is definitely worth bringing in this week and you can also offload Wright before he leaks any more cash with the same trade.

There are no guaranteed right answers in Supercoach sadly, so maybe NRoo can turn things around but not a trade I could recommend whole heartedly given what we know right now.

    • dognino says:

I've had reiwoldt since rd 2 and been very frustrated with him, finally watched a saints game and realised its not his fault. Once his team can learn to kick to a lead and not 2mts over his head he will score big again. I'm also thinking about Lloyd to tex , will be waiting for teams announced on Thursday to see if I have any other spot fires tho, one thing this year has taught me, don't make plans cos the SC gods will take offence and drop half ya team

  64. Tommy says:

Thoughts on team: 10 trades left 130k in kitty.

Mcveigh, Bartel, Sdt, Murphy, Adcock, Langdon (Cutler and Clurey)

Ablett, Libba, Selwood, Watson, NDS, Beams, Polec, Taylor (Hartung and Acres)

Sandi, Goldstein (Archie Smith and Currie)

Danger, Martin, Rough, Dahlaus, Wingard, Shenton (Cameron and Ambrose

  65. Ben says:

Hey guys, looking to upgrade jack billings because i think he has peaked, break even of 75. Have 223k in the bank so I have around 510k to play with. Looking for mid or fwd. Or should I risk another week and hope that he pulls through and gets his break even and jump on one of the guns that's set to drop this week like swan, griffen and Stevie J. Thanks guys, love to hear your thoughts.

    • Benno says:

Definitely hold, some interesting break-even prospects this week are going to make for some value upgrades next week!

      • Ben says:

Cheers mate that's what I thought would be the best option, just hope bloody billings can get his break even

  66. scano says:

Who goes first kolo thumper or langdon?

  67. Mebois says:

hi guys, pretty average week scoring 2283. i only have 49k in the treasure chest and i like the looks of goddard, every game he has scored 100 besides when he scored 11 after being subbed off.

DEF: Swallow, hibberd, bartel, mcveigh, smith, kolo (langdon, langford)
MID: Ablett, pendles, libba, cotch, beams, sloane, polec, shenton (hallahan, acres)
    RUC: Sandi, jacobs (currie, thurlow)
FWD: Dangerfield, wingard, gunston, pavlich, fasolo, tex (cameron, hunter)

  68. Billy says:

can we see jaensch being a D5 or D6 keeper??

    • SCaddict says:

I'm beginning to warm up to the idea. Has played every game and tonned up 6 out of 10 times along with a 98 in there.

Compares favourably to a similarly priced Hanley who has only tonned 2 out of his 8 games, also missing two separate games through injury. Compares quite favourably to Enright too.

So yes I think he is worthy of a D6 pozzie in many teams.

  69. Derek says:

I brought in Harry O'Brien (aka Lumumba) last week on the thought that Pies had a couple of easy games coming up (pretty good run for rest of year), he has DDP, had dropped to $407k (after being as high as $488k) and as a POD – owned by 2.5% of teams.

    His first 5 rounds were 92, 91, 103, 100, 107 before a few bad scores.

His best season was 2013 and averaged 88.

Has the pressure of Fantasy Football finally gotten to me, or can Harry average 95+ for the rest of the year and justify a $407k spend?

  70. Benno says:

Full premo! Langdon is useless to me (baring injury), risky move i know but I'm afraid its time to say goodbye! Cash grab, 312K thank you very much!

  71. henry says:

is there anything i can do with my team? 14 trades left 11k in the bank.
def: simpson, bartel, mcveigh, hibberd, enright, hurn. (georgio, clurey)
mid: ablett, pendles, beams, selwood, libba, sloane, tyson, k mitchell (crouch, acres)
    ruck: sandi, mcevo (derickx, thurlow)
fwd: zorko, roughy, dangerfield, gray, fasolo, higgins (shenton, lloyd)
    thoughts?

    • Derek says:

team looks pretty good. Benches are pretty thin, not many warm bodies that are generating cash. Who do you have your eye on to upgrade Tyson and Mitchell to in next few weeks? How much cash will you need and where is it going to come from?

    • Tom says:

why does everyone have roughead? He isnt even good

      • BCHawks says:

a lot of people started with him thinking that he would perform well and then have stuck with him.

        • henry says:

started with him tom mate. chose not trade out my premiums this year. tyson i will look for nearly a straight swap for stevie j. kane mitchell we will see soon because he has a lot of money still to make. will look to make cash from obrien and brissy ruck if named.

  72. Tom says:

What should i do with my team. I have 11 trades left
def: Bartel, swallow, burgoyne, hurn, hanley, langdon (gerodio, cutler)
mid: Ablett, pendles, selwood, beams, rockliff, watson, kennedy, k mitchell ( hartung, acres)
    ruck: sandi, mumford (derickx, thurlow)
fwds: zorko, danger, parker, martin, fasolo, taylor (cameon, llyod)

    Thoughts community

  73. JX20 says:

Leppa mentioned in his presser that Stefan Martin was clubhouse leader as West's replacement. Was Melbourne's main ruckman a few season's back and had a real purple patch with average of 101 for a 10 week stretch. That was 3 years ago but if selected and his ruck/fwd DPP, is he worth some thought at 242K?? Could trade out Lloyd and have him as insurance for Sandi. I have Thurlow in rucks to swap him.

    • SCaddict says:

Reckon it's worth looking at only after Martin has played a couple of games first, of course. Probably too much cash for most coaches to entertain for an R3 but it may suit some.

I'm hoping that Smith gets the nod although he's a smoky right now as I'd much rather pay $102K for Archie than $242K for Stef ha ha.

  74. Tommykwr says:

    Thoughts on my team
10 trades left and $18,000 in the bank
    Any thoughts appreciated
Def: Swallow, Bartel, Mcveigh, hooker, R Murphy, laidler (cutler, clurey)
Mid: Ablett, Beams, Swan, Sloane, sell wood, Liberatore, Ward, Cotchin ( acres, Robertson)
    Rucks: Sandilands, Mumford, (thurlow, King)
For: danger, roughy, Martin, Harvey, Parker, fasolo (Shelton,Cameron )
Thinking of trading fasolo for Taylor walker

    • Tom says:

fasolo still has money left in him. Maybe downgrade robertsn to someone

    • SCaddict says:

Would hold this week and then switch out Flipper for O'Brien next week and try and upgrade Laidler to a value premo like a Hanley or Jaensch.

  75. Buzz says:

Fasolo to Tex is a bit sideways when you have a real concern at D6 with Laidler.

  76. john snow says:

Hi all. Got a few dramas at the moment.

    People on the chopping block.
Mcevoy- Unsure if he will be picked. Have Derrickx on the bench
Enright-Again not sure if he will be picked.
Langford- Could be time to upgrade
    Polec- big BE
Suckling. Could still make some coin though.
Derrickx- Could trade in for some cash generation. Is handy backup though.

I have $250K in the bank and 15 trades left.

    Thanks people

    • Tommykwr says:

Trade polec to a premium and Langford likewise

      • john snow says:

yeh that's my thinking at the moment. If Enright is out for another week I might have to trade him first though.

    • WombatsFC says:

Hi Snowy have you considered upgrading Langford or enright to Jaensch and Polec to an Uber-Premo

      • john snow says:

That's not a bad idea either. I cant believe how good Jaensch has been this year. If Enright is not selected I can go Enright to Malceki and still afford to upgrade Polec to Goddard.

    • Matt says:

I'd prioritise Polec, but the others I'd probably keep. I have McEvoy, Enright and Langford as well and I'm keeping them all this week (assuming they're all named).

Its handy to have a ruck backup in Derrickx.

    • Matt says:

      btw, on Enright:

"Enright initially hurt his ankle against the Brisbane Lions in round two and jarred it against the Kangaroos. He is back running and is expected to be fit to face Carlton."

      • WombatsFC says:

Nah they'll rest him for the Blues game. One game rest didn't work when they had the bye so he'll have a cortisone injection to reduce the inflamation and then start a minimum 7-day rehab. He's too important to the team to be risked against the blues and too high scoring in the final 6 games of a season to be dropped from your SC team. IMO

  77. john snow says:

I should also mention I have no back up on my DEF bench so if Enright is out, its a 0

  78. scano says:

I know Bews has already increased in price but I need cash and trading Langford down to Jeddy Bews give me that. What are peoples thoughts?

  79. Tommy says:

    • peter pan artichoke says:

where have all yours trades gone mate?
i have 13 trades left and a full premo team.

      • WombatsFC says:

Full premo already well done! You must be close to winning the $ what's your team called?

      • Garglesnarf FC says:

I wont speak for Tommy but I have had a horror run with injuries.

McEvoy, Mumford, Hurn, Michie, Hanley, TMitchell, Caddy, XEllis, Franklin, Rohan, SMitchell, Acres, Tippett. Only three I didn’t trade out were Mumford, Tippett and Hanley. Thats 10 trades on injuries so far this season, when I budgeted for 8 for the YEAR.

Fortunately Rockliffe, Murphy, Tyson and Polec have saved my sorry arse from total disaster along with the incomporable Gaz. Hoping for a better run home.

    • Remy says:

      Hmm.
You're getting a little low on trades there Tommy.
I'd say upgrading Polec would have to be your no 1 priority.
Starting to lose cash and need to scrap asap.
Mids I would consider are Goddard (still cheap), Steve Johnson (going down but gun) or maybe even a Cal Ward type.
      But your trades!
      Be careful.

    • WombatsFC says:

Langdon>Docherty-now part of midfield at blues. Polec>Pendle or Rocky

      • Josh says:

Docherty takes from the poor, gives to the rich. Going by his record this season. I'll hold Langdon.

      • Tommy says:

Hey Wombats . Langdon> Docherty looks the goods. Are you looking him at a cash grab or a solid D6 for the rest of the year

        • WombatsFC says:

Hi Tom, No. I'd keep Langdon for the time being due to the high numbers out at Colinwood for the next few weeks. If I was in your position I'd trade Polec and get Swallow or Jaensch before Docherty.

  80. Remy says:

    Hey!
    Need some trade advice community.
    I'm thinking:
    Langford~O'Brien
    Cotchin~Tom "On fire" Rockliff
Note: These are fantasy trades. (Unlimited trades)
    Thanks:)

    • Remy says:

Can you think of any better trades?
Mid: Gary, Pend, Beams, Libba, Jobe, Goddard, Mundy, Cotch (Hallahan, Honey)
Def: McVeigh, Suckling, Jaensch, Hibb, Simpson, Bartel (Docherty, Lang)

    • MightyDonsFC says:

      Forwards?

  81. Jack says:

    Need some extra opinions please.

If I can trade Flipper Robertson down to Zac O'Brien and then upgrade Kade Kolodjashnij to Nick Makceski should I?
Taking into account I'll be left with only 11 trades, $50,000 and 3 rookies on the field; 1 of Kane Mitchell, Zac 0'Brien and Blake Acres (hardly worth trading at his price) and 2 of Patrick Ambrose, Jarman Impey, Cameron Shenton and Sam Lloyd (assuming he gets picked again).

I think it may be worth it as with Acres and Lloyd, I'll hopefully be able to loophole most weeks. Need some guidance on only having 11 trades left though.

  82. dognino says:

What do people think between jaensch as D6 or walker at F6 , I have to be cheap in one of these positions

    • WombatsFC says:

Both are great options but as a constant on field I'd have Jaensch. Walker I'd use as an F6/7 loophole.

  83. Benno says:

Need some advice community, not to sure of trades this week.

Having a completed back line renders Langdon useless sitting on the bench. Entertaining a cash grab, trading down Langdon to a basement rookie to generate 312K. Thoughts on this idea?

Also looking at my Rucks (Sandi and Jacobs) and wondering if a downgrade to Nic Nat is worth the trade?

Currently have 11 trades remaining, full premium across all lines and 12K in the bank. Thoughts appreciated!

    • WombatsFC says:

Hi Benno, I love the idea of cashing in Langford and hate the idea of trading a ruck before he breaks.
Full premo all lines! what's your benchmark for premo?

      • Benno says:

Def: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Bartel, Burgoyne, Hurn (Langdon, Tippet)
Mid: Pendles, JPK, Beams, Selwood, Ebert, Fyfe, Swan, Goddard (Acres, Hartung)
        Rucks: Sandi, Jacobs (Derickx, Currie)
Fwds: Danger, Parker, Martin, Gunston, Rough, Buddy (McDonough, Ambrose)

        Help!

        • dognino says:

Maybe derickx down to the Brisbane rookie ruck if he gets named, that will give you some good cash, and maybe look at getting in robbie gray int the fwd line. other than that, in your position I would be holding . Could probly turn Langdon into Sam Mitchell after his 2nd game back for a straight swap

          Great looking team

  84. Danners16 says:

Hey guys firstly, I'm sorry about last Wednesday night, when I stopped my question time early. This was because no one responded within 20min so I'd thought that no one would reply. I also didn't do it tonight because our internet was down and it only just came back on. So I will do it tomorrow night at about 7:30pm EST, and the same time on Thursday night. I have decided to also do a bit of research and each time I do a question time, I will one POD for each position starting tomorrow night, I will not have any information on them since Jock and the other crew might have information on players in their articles and podcasts but if you want to know why I chose a certain player, you can ask. If you don't want me to do this please say.

Outve curiosity , why Dont you use your 30minutes to respond to peoples questions that are already posted in the comments section, instead of thinking this is a chat room and hoping that people are all online at a certain time. Only because from the past few weeks I’ve been reading through the comments, it seems only a couple of people end up online when your available unfortunately (still makes for good reading though).

BUT Make no mistake – myself and surely many others are very appreciative to you and everyone else in the community who puts in the effort to contribute week in week out. Its what helps make this community so good to be a part of! So thank you!

    any advice?

def: hibberd, mcveigh, jaensch, bartel, swallow, cutler (clurey, georgiou)
mid: gaz, pendles, beams, ward, libba, goddard, murphy (hartung, shenton)
    ruck: sandi, mummy (currie, thurlow)
fwd: danger, martin, parker, higgins, pav, zorko (ambrose, cameron)

only need to upgrade cutler with 40k left and only 8 trades

    Thoughts on Ryan Bastinac?

    • MightyDonsFC says:

Been keeping an eye on him, wait and see how he does over the next couple

    • SCaddict says:

Wouldn't entertain him at all, now that we are at round 12. Nice player but would have less than a 1% chance of finishing a top 20 mid by the end of the year.

We should only be finishing of our midfield with top liners now rather than any old premos. He's not even averaging a ton 11 rounds in so I would forget about him personally.

Maybe start with him as a smoky for your 2015 team. Too risky now with most coaches approaching single digit trades.

Pray. That’s all you can do

    • Michael says:

Maybe condense your post next time champ, bit of a pain scrolling down to get a handle on your side, just need names and positions, everyone can look up $$ & team for each if they need.
A tad on the lazy side just copying and pasting.
Also give some options instead of just putting your team out there, again a little bit lazy.
And let us know whether you're looking to win league or $50K (or both!)
We love to help but you need to help too.
Note this is not major criticism, just a better way of you getting advice, you'll find others' eyes will glaze over when they see your post as it is lol!
Just trying to help you out, so don't take it to heart!
After all that, not too bad a side, I'd be holding trades unless you've got heaps left (like 15+).
      Hope that helps, good luck!

    • Jet says:

Copy and paste is a good tool, eh….

    • WombatsFC says:

Hi Jack, the best way to get informed advice is to post the name of your SC team, if other teams also have your team name (there are a few Wombats in SC) include your current rank so we can find it on the SC site. Alternatively just name the players for each line eg. DEF: mitchell,Hanley,Hibbard etc etc.
First thing I'd be doing is stopping leaks like Walker & Roughead with lower priced equal or higher scoring options , even rookies. Roughead to Shenton this week will only hurt if roughy pumps out a way above average game this week and the next 4. This will give similar points and enough cash to turn KK into Bartell.

  88. Mudie moose says:

Hey guys I’m in a little bit of a pickle with my team (mainly backlome) it’s my first year playing and I got sucked into trading hard early in the comp at this point I have 11 left my team

    Deff

Swallow Burgoyne Birchell Suckling Laidler Cutler

    (Tippett Clurley)

    Mid

Ablet Pendles Selwood Libba Delsanto Ward Swan Thomas

    (Shenton Acers)

    Ruck

    Sandi Jacobs (derickx currie)

    Forward

Dangerfield Martin Zorko Dahlhaus Roughie Taylor

    (Lennon Rohan)

I’m thinking it’s best to hold trades right now but I’m playing two rookies in my backline and risking a big 0 again but I lack the coin (200k in bank)

To upgrade either Laidler or cutler to a nice premo

Any advice would be appreciated heaps

    • Fair Game says:

Dirrickx to a spud & defence upgrade for sure. Maybe Hanley at value

    • WombatsFC says:

I agree with fairgame cash in Derickx and turn Tippett into a value defender like Jaensch or Hanley

  89. john snow says:

    Derrickx to Currie?

    • wes says:

      Hi John
      why?
      dongrade obviously… to what end?

    • WombatsFC says:

Nah mate if you're gunna cash him in cash him in for a Max King or Thurlow to generate max possible cash

    • Blake says:

Hold Derickx I reckon but if cash is desperately needed then I reckon go down to the basement price 102k Brisbane boy in Archie Smith. He has a real shot at getting a gig this week with Brisbane in their ruck crisis

  90. WombatsFC says:

Thanks Jock and the lads for another informative podcast your wisdom has me very well placed in the JR Donor group.
Extra thanks to Crouching Tiger for his philosophical interpretation of 'the whisper' but, it wasn't your fetid slipper that you heard my pungent Pyanmarian friend. I was with a potential Mrs Wombats and about to select a burrow for the evening when I also heard the spirits whisper "key position forward".

Crouching one, the whisper we heard was not just directions to an emergency key or a safer burrow after a heavy meal. It was a direction from the SuperCoach gods and it came on the most spiritual of football weekends.
Even a confirmed dontgiveastuffaboutreligionite like me cannot ignore such an obvious and emphatic message from the gods. So, this week I will trade out Picolo Toro Vino and put Danger in the middle to bring in a Monster Forward and, Tippett is most likely.

  91. Donavan says:

    Community, after your valued opinons.

    13 Trades – Bank = $539.6k

Def – Bartel, Swallow, Enright, Firrito, Schoenmakers, Kolodjashnij, Langford, Tippett
Mid – Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Priddis, Goddard, Cotchin, Langdon, Shenton, Hartung, Acres
Ruck – Sandiands, Naitanui, Derickx, Lobb
Fwd – Martin, Dahlhaus, Franklin, Roughead, Dangerfield, L.Taylor, S.Lloyd, Ambrose

Thoughts for this week – 2 trades out of the following-
    A . L.Taylor to Zorko
    B. Langdon to Malceski (via swing with Swallow or Bartel)
    C. Kolodjashnij to Malceski
    D. Any other suggestions

Playing for league wins, have tough opponnent this week, must win match-up.

    Thanks.

  92. Gary rohan the spud says:

    NEED SOME ADVICE!!
My team is almost entirely premo's barre 2, however this means i only have 9 trades left (freaking injuries)
    team is
Backs: McVeigh, Burgoyne, Swallow (Bews, Tippett)
    Hanley, Enright, Hibberd

Mid: Ablett, Pendles, JPK, Beams (acres, O'Rourke)
    Murphy, Ward, Tyson, Hallahan

    Rucks: Sandi, Jacobs (Currie, King)

Fwd: Danger, Zorko, Parker (IMpey, Cameron)
    Dahlhaus, Martin, Gray

Now im not sure whether to trade Dom tyson to Goddard for only 40K as i have had my eye on goddard for weeks averaging over 115 without injury affected score
and bring in obrien for blake acres

or do i hold onto the trade

    • lostlarrikin says:

With 9 trades left I reckon u need to HOLD!

    • Billy says:

it depends on your current position. if you are going for overall or weekly win then trade to full premo asap for those points. if you are just winning league games then HOLD

      • Captain joc says:

I would do the trade it’s a good trade

        • Azmataz says:

          I agree. Pull the trigger

          • Mathew says:

Bring in goddard dont bring in obrien
            1. He will be on your bench (wont effect your score)
2.Acres still a cash cow and will throw out decent points when he comes back
3.Obrien wont be going up this week would like to watch him one more week before picking up
4.You have 9 trades left!!! You need to treat these like gold.. no sideways trading from now on its either upgrade or downgrade

  93. Mebois says:

hi guys, pretty average week scoring 2283. i only have 49k in the treasure chest.

DEF: Swallow, hibberd, bartel, mcveigh, smith, kolo (langdon, langford)
MID: Ablett, pendles, libba, cotch, beams, sloane, polec, shenton (hallahan, acres)
    RUC: Sandi, jacobs (currie, thurlow)
FWD: Dangerfield, wingard, gunston, pavlich, fasolo, tex (cameron, hunter)

i like the looks of goddard, every game he has scored 100 besides when he scored 11 after being subbed off.
    im thinking of doing:

    langdon >bews
    polec>goddard, ward

    • SCaddict says:

Well you could take a punt and go early on O'Brien this week by ditching Hallahan and then upgrade Polec to BJ Floggard if you really have your heart and head set on him.

However the more prudent play would be to wait another week on O'Brien to make sure he will be playing at least 3 games and only then upgrade Polec to a premo. Stevie J will be dirt cheap next week for example. Plenty of fish in the sea as they say! :)

  94. dunny says:

Tom Langdon to Nick Malceski, Matt Jaensch or Pearce Hanley?

    • Billy says:

jaensch is the most value easy. however if you can afford malceski then hes probably the best outta the 3

    • SCaddict says:

Perhaps not a straight apples and oranges comparison as Mal is $100K more and will probably finish with the higher average of the 3.

Hanley is the most risky selection to me with his recent injury niggles. Could really go gangbusters now with the Lions draw improving and finding some form on the weekend. But he could also continue to remain disappointing as he has been for the first half of the season.

Reckon Jaensch represents the best value right now. Can't go wrong with Malceski but you should also consider Hibberd if you are prepared to pay that kind of money, assuming you don't already have him.

  95. Kristy says:

    Thoughts on
Def: swallow, Burgoyne, hurn, Hanley, enright, langdon (georgiou, gardiner)
Mid: gaz, beams, watson, selwood, Murphy, griffen, Goddard, k. Jack (acres, Kelly)
    Ruck: sandi, mcevoy (Derrick, king)
Fwd: danger, Martin, zorko, roo, wingard (bent me over and banged me sideways, brought him in for fasolo and lost by 60….), tex (lloyd, z.merret)

    Thinking I'll go kelly- rookie,

Who for langdon? Malceski, hibberd, Scott Thompson?
Any other changes, 12 trades left cheers xx

  96. Bruce says:

    M. Thomas to Pendles?

  97. Captain joc says:

Ok well I’ve crunched the numbers between sloane, dal santo and Barlow and I like dal santo the best now the question is do I bring him in this week or next as he has a breakeven of 140 and is playing against Richmond

    Community’s thoughts?

    • Garglesnarf FC says:

Who is he replacing? Polec’s price will drop similarly so there’s no difference there.

In pure numbers terms, if NDS scores 125 which is not unlikely, he should only drop 6.5k. In that case you need him to make an extra 10 over the player he replaces for it to be worth going early.

If he scores 110 and drops 12k, then you would probably want to pick up 20+ on the upgrade. Hope that helps a bit.

      • Captain joc says:

He is replacing Langdon GFC got rid of polec for selwood in rd 9 do you reckon he has a good chance of going big

        • Garglesnarf FC says:

I think thats a pretty rock solid trade CJ. NDS is in a top 8 team, with a dream run all the way including finals. He could easily avg 120+ from here.

          • Captain joc says:

I’m also considering Goddard at 532k take out his injured game n he has a 118 avg what do you think of him he has a decent run home too they would be M8 whichever one I get but I’ve also got Watson so do you think you can have both Watson n Goddard in the same side

  98. Dutch Life says:

Hey community would love your thoughts on what to do this week, my team is:

DEF: Swallow, Bartel, Simpson, Birchall, Jaencsh, Langdon (Georgiou, Cutler)

MIDS: Gary, Pendulbery, S.Johnson, Selwood, Watson, JPK, Murphy, Cotchin ( Hallahan, Acres)

RUC: Sandilands, Goldstein ( Derickx, King)

FWD: Dangerfeild, Parker, Martin, Zorko, Shenton, Taylor (Ambrose, Cameron)

I have 9 trades left and $151,000, was thinking of holding trades this week and then next week going

    Hallahan>O’Brian

    And then

    Taylor>Robbie Gray.

Would love you thoughts, ideas, and opinions.

    Cheers community

    • Azmataz says:

Langdon to Malceski could be a good shout. And Taylor to Gray if theres enough cash

    • Donavan says:

      Good team Dutch.

I think that if I were looking to trade Hallahan, I would move either Shenton or Taylor to the midfield, and get a forward, thereby opening up a swing set Mid/Fwd. this would mean that you would only have to field one of Shenton/Taylor/Ambrose/Cameron, and have injury coverage via the swing.

  99. Jay says:

Hey community, I'm sitting in a decent position (apart from wingard) this year, want your thoughts on my trade idea.

    My defense – swallow, barrel, mcveigh,suckling,Langdon,kolodjashnij, (Langford,georgiou)

Want to make one trade this week in defense, if thinking either Langdon or kolodjashnij out – Hibberd in.
Both have similar price, Langdon has higher breakeven, Gold Coast have tough draw coming I can see value in keeping Langdon as a mid-def to swing up to ablett- yes that's right I don't have him yet……………..

  100. Guest says:

what is dom Tyson's break even

  101. Aaron says:

Stevie J 196 break even in a few weeks will be bliss

    • sharker4 says:

Yes, I am watchng with intent to upgrade Tyson to Steven Johnson for free

    • wes says:

I considered offloading Johnson, til I saw the cats draw over next three… he should be ready to go boom, so I am keeping.

  102. Jottie says:

    Good morning Fellas,
Wondering if someone could comment on my team,

Defenders: Swallow, Mcveigh, Jaensch, Thompson, Mcdonald, Enright (Georgiou, Bews)

Midfield: Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Selwood, Liberatore, Watson, Murphy, Prestia (Hartung, Honeychurch)

    Ruck: Goldstein, Lobbe (Currie, Thurlow)

Forward: Dangerfield, Parker, Martin, Breust, Zorko, Wingard (Cameron, Ambrose)

8 trades left 2 trades for injurys 6 for finals Comments?

    • Billy says:

nice team. potentially if your fed up with goldstein you could trade him to nic nat to make 100k to upgrade mcdonald to get full premo team

      • Jottie says:

interesting may look at doing that, keeping faith in Goldy Atm : – )

        • The Garbo says:

im keeping faith in goldy that he'll turn his game around too. But yer mcdonald is your only real issue. But he has a 37 BE so no rush yet

    • sharker4 says:

Nice side, what was your score last round?

      • Jottie says:

2257 got let down by enright (0) and wingard (10), traded Cutler (gave me a donut last week) out for Jaensch and hallihan for honeychurch (enable fwd, mid swing) this week, ablett was my C : )

  103. sharker4 says:

Anyone think Sam Lloyd will come back into the Tigers side or is time to move him on?

    • Mozz says:

I think he'll come back in within the coming weeks. Wouldn't want to trade him off anyway, he has a -ve BE

      • Azmataz says:

        +1

I have been holing onto him due to his -ve BE and the fact that the Tigers are going to start rotating players. He is only bench-warming at the moment so no harm done. If you don't have cover for him then that is a different story.

    • The Garbo says:

Hold. I think he even has a shot to play this weekend.
Tigers will be swinging the axe after their thrashing by essendon.

      • sharker4 says:

I've been lookng into it a bit futher, he hasnt ben playing all that well in the reserves only had 4 touches on the weekend. This has me worried that others wil be knocking on the door before him like Anthony Miles who carved it up.

Im sitting 11th in my league with a few rookies in my forward line, so im thinking I need to take some risks to get some wins

  104. scano says:

    Riewolt or Zorko?

    • chandanrajdb says:

      ZORKO….

      Cheers,
      Raj….

    • wes says:

      agree – Zorko over nick…
however, what about other option – bird over zorko if you can afford it?
zorks has bene inconsistent. Not that bird has been the rock. but not counting Sydney's first couple games, where all sucked, bird has been really good – which leads to my question below.

      • scano says:

        risky move wes ;)

        • wes says:

oh – maybe he meant Jack Reiwoldt :-)

Bird must have totally different figures in supercoach to afl fantansy.
Bird looks like absolute gold with his numbers in there.
totally underpriced, in better role, DPP, consistent over last 6 games…
I'd prefer JPK, but if I couldn't have him, and I already have Parker, Bird seems reasonable pick…
          why risky?

  105. Kristofor says:

Thoughts on Burgoyne -> Hibberd trade..?
Will Burgoyne really be a best 6 defender come end of season? Or hold him until Mitch returns?

    • chandanrajdb says:

Waste of a trade IMO….this will be considered as a luxury trade IMO…..upgrade all the rookies in your team 1st up and then go for these luxury trades…..which are generally done during the finals run….

      Cheers,
      Raj…

      • Kristofor says:

Thanks for the Advice Raj, I'm feeling the same way.
I feel the need to get rid of Polec though.. as he has peaked. My forwardline is weaker than my midfield, so thinking of swining Dangerfield into mid and upgrading Polec to a better forward..
Who do you think the best Forward option is under my 450k budget, or none, or other.
        Higgins, LeCras, Hawkins, Franklin

        • chandanrajdb says:

Polec to Franklin by swinging Dangerfield into your mids…is a good trade….and Franklin is still undervalued……IMO…based on his recent form and has BE of 32….

I am considering to bring in Franklin myself if Lloyd isn't named again this week….

          Hope this helps…

          Cheers,
          Raj….

  106. DLsc says:

hey guys, coming to the pointy end of the season, need some advice !!!
10 trades and a huge 670k in the war chest

DEF: mcveigh, swallow, hibberd, hooker, burgoyne, bartel (bews, georgiou)
MID: gaz, pendlebury, beams, jpk, selwood, liberatore, fyfe, shenton (hartung, acres)
    RUC: sandilands, derickx (thurlow, king)
FWD: roughead, martin, danger, parker, cameron, ambrose (lloyd, impey)

derickx has surprisingly been very solid in the absence of the canadian pyke, but it may be time to chop him this week (who for??)
as for the rest of my team, do i wait for the likes of shenton impey ambrose cameron etc to reach their peak then cull them, or do i make another trade this week (who for??)

    thanks community keep it up!

    • wes says:

SHenton upgrade… depends who you want.
from your really nice looking midfield, perhaps Rocky would be a good upgrade option. If you want to spend that much coin on him.
He has form, easy games coming up over next 4-5 rds.
So Rocky would be going up or at worst maintain his price.

Can we expect Derrickx to continue his form too??
Don't know. For safety, mummy is better than Jacobs. he played well on weekend.
Perhaps a Bird in your fwd line instead of Cameron/ambrose??

      • DLsc says:

shenton still has heaps of coin to make, i think i might hold for a couple weeks!

i think derickx has been good but its time to go, mummy looks the best option.

and the forward rookies are problematic but i guess they all still have coin to make, thanks for your advice wes

        • Mathew says:

Mummy the best option? Really? Minson!! consistent and always pumping them out

I would probably look at impy to upgrade.. yeh he it a 77 or something last week got a small BE but his a spud that come out with a good game.. get in a good premo that you can get good scores week in n out for
          Gray? Dahlhaus?

          Good luck mate

          • Mathew says:

Could even look at a nic nat for ruck or cox both back in form

          • DLsc says:

yeah minsons cheaper and has been putting up good scores, but barring a 41 coming back from a long injury, mummy's ceiling is huge and has been consistent if playing!!

and yeah dahlhaus gray are the two in the fwd line im looking at, gray being more consistent and in a winning team, thanks matt

  107. wes says:

    HI all

bird has lower job security than jaensch who is also more consistent with a higher ceiling, hope this helps

    • Garglesnarf FC says:

60k difference in price Wes, which can accomplish a lot.

I prefer Bird long term as he now seems to now be getting a genuine midfield spot which equals a higher return (121.3 3 game AV) than Jaensch as a defender (89.3 3 game avg, also one who could well get his role changed when Henderson returns).

Basically you are buying 31 points per game for 60k.

  108. TigerTuff says:

Worth going Cutler to Litherland for some do$h ??

    • Derek says:

I don’t think his JS is very good. Stratton, lake and sprangher to come back soon

      • Ronny says:

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but with Langford instead of Cutler. So bloody hard to generate money this year

  109. TigerTuff says:

    FYFE OR STEVE JOHNSON????????????????

    • SCaddict says:

Stevie J will offer irresistible value very soon. Good chance he will be sub $530K next week.

Teen Wolf also looked a little banged up on the weekend. With Freo's easy draw over the next few months here's always that risk that he could get rested at some point. Not saying it will happen only buyer beware.

    • liam says:

i have Fyfe for a fortnight now and he has not been as good as barlow over last few weeks. however, soft games coming up so should turn around. Stevie J to reduce in price so wait to drop but with Freo v Cats first round of finals, will crowley play on SJ again and keep score low?

  110. Derek says:

  111. Captain joc says:

    Goddard or dal santo?

  112. bob says:

I was thinking Langdon to Litherland to make some cash and Lloyd upgrade to a franklin or tex.
Next week I could then do a Tyson up to whatever premo mid I want.

currently 11 trades left but I only really need to improve my 6th forward for the time being.
Just not sure how tex or franklin will go or do I just try and get parker onto the forward line somehow?

currently looking good in my leagues for the next couple of weeks but just trying to get the team locked and loaded.

    Thoughts?

  113. Marcus J says:

Just wanna get some feedback on my team.

Swallow, Mcveigh, Hibberd, Guthrie, Hanley, Langford, Cutler, Litherland
Ablett, Selwood, Beams, Danger, Bartel, Fyfe, Swan, Goddard, Shenton, hartung
    Sandilands, Jacobs, Currie, Thurlow
Roughy, Dusty, Zorko, Dahlhaus, Fasolo, Wingard, impey, llyod.

Im hoping to get langford off the park in the next week or two and upgrade him and then my back and mids will be pretty set,
the forward line can be inconsistent and the best of times and really dunno if i should hold it as it is or trade roughy or upgrade fasolo

    • DLsc says:

D6 is a worry with litherland and langford job security low conisdering injured players at hawks coming back. not much solid cover there.

great mids, wont have to touch them barring injury

rucks are fine, will be solid for the season, will jacobs keep this up all season though??

forwards are good! maybe in a couple of weeks time when shenton has made money downgrade to a nobody rookie, to upgrade fasolo or langford ??

    • Derek says:

Still have room for one more midfield premium, who have you got your eye on?
I would trade Fasolo out in a few weeks once he has reached his max cash gain and trade him for another premium mid. (Use dangerfield trade loop)
Guthrie and Langford will also need upgrade soon.

      Good team

      • Derek says:

Leave room for Sam Mitchell when he comes back. Will be very cheap and a POD if everyone else has filled up their teams

        • Marcus J says:

yeah i had mitchell before he went down.

ive been looking at boak or montagna for something different.

I might decided to ride the wave with guthrie. he is gonna score low when he tags, but when he doesn't and runs in the mid he has been solid scores.

but agree with langford and fasolo need to go up when the cash presents its self

          • Derek says:

What is difference between boak and fasolo? How much cash you got? Pies got a couple of good games to come, should get a price rise out of fasolo.

  114. Emmanuel says:

Hi community. Great posts and comments. Your feedback has been invaluable helping beginners like myself. As the season approaches the pointy end I need all the advice I can get to improve my team and save it from falling away.

    Here’s the situation.

D: McVeigh Bartel Swallow R Shaw Suckling Enright ( Bews Langford )

M: GAJ Selwood Beams Swan Murphy Cotchin Goddard Langdon ( Acres Shenton )

    R: Sandi Lobbe ( Derickx Thurlow )

F: Danger Dusty Zorko Tex Walker Billings Cameron ( Lloyd Ambrose )

Have about $400k to play with and only 9 trades left.

I think I need to offload Langdon and Billings this week.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    • Mozz says:

      Hi there Emmanuel.
There's one main issue that I see with your team, and that is that you only have 9 trades left. We have another 12 weeks to go! If you're thinking of offloading Langdon and Billings this week, you'll be left with only 7 trades. This is really not enough.

My advice would be to hold your trades for a few weeks. Langdon is doing really nicely averaging around 80 each week and it keeps your DEF/MID swing open. Billings would be alright as a bench player. If Lloyd is named this week, swap Billings for Lloyd and then just keep him on the bench for a few weeks.

You really need to save your 9 trades. Think about injuries, suspensions and restings come the end of the season! A lot happens in the last 10 weeks or so, and you want about 6 trades come finals time. Hold your trades.
      Hope this helps

      • Emmanuel says:

Thanks. I see your point which is valid. I was hoping to upgrade a few areas but I know what you mean regarding injuries etc.

    • SCaddict says:

Agree with Mozz that you do need to be very careful with your trades now that you are in single digit territory.

However I think upgrading Billings this week is worth a trade. Budweiser, Dixon, Zorko and Tex would be the candidates I would be looking at.

You could keep hang on to Langdon until Stevie J has bottomed out in pricing in a few more weeks. You really want to extract maximum value with your trades especially with so few left.

      • Azmataz says:

You have so much cash to play with! I would upgrade Billings to Parker. Welcome

      • Emmanuel says:

Thanks. I see your point which is valid. I was hoping to upgrade a few areas but I know what you mean regarding injuries etc.

I was thinking of waiting for Steve Johnson but do you think there’s an issue having two players from Geelong?

I know I have Beams and Swan. If I had enough trades I would have traded Pendles for Swan but can’t afford to now

  115. Stumped says:

to keep Pyke or not to keep Pyke…?!

I've persisted with him since the start of the season…. with Sandi, Derrickx and Currie as my other rucks. Is the fact that Sydney has tippet, franklin and co back any good news?

    Thoughts?

    • SCaddict says:

Well Pykey's output had been a tad disappointing even before he got injured so think you are well within your fantasy footy rights to consider other options. Also having missed over a month of footy now it could take him a while to get back on his feet again, even if he does play this weekend.

So I would have a good hard look at Nic Nat for not much more. It looks like he is finally beginning to find form and has a tiny BE this round.

Of course you need to weigh up how many trades you have left and whether you can justify a sideways corrective move on Pykey in amongst your other trade priorities.

    • dognino says:

I'm still holding pyke too, still managed a league win even with the donut last week. Can't afford to keep doing that tho, so if he's not back in this week I'm going to nic nat

  116. Gab says:

need a defender and i have 520k, thoughs please!!

  117. sharker4 says:

Looking for a downgrade option in the back line to make some cash so I can upgrade my forwards. Any decent options, the only one I can is Litherlind. I know he has played 4 games but he is only 165k with a BE of -57. Any others I should be looking at?

  118. Tman says:

    Howdy all

Couple of questions if I may
    1. M Crouch and N robertson, are they expected to play much over the next few rounds? If not what are the downgrade options?

    2. Forward line looking shaky, what do I do with winguard and billings?

    3. Have Longer as myr3. with sandy and mummy. Worth keeping or cull?

    Thanks a million

    • Mozz says:

      1. I haven't heard much from Crouch and Robertson so it could be an idea to trade them ONLY IF they are on the field. If they are on the bench then just stick with them. Don't waste a trade going to O'brien.

      2. Wingard will be fine. He just had one shocking game, should be alright. Billings I would look toget rid of, really not going anywhere.

      3. Trade longer to Nic Nat if you can

    • SCaddict says:

      1. Who could say?? Would need to be able to peer into the minds of Sando, Leppa and their respective match committees. Suffice to say their immediate propects don't look too flash. O'Brien looks the best of the fresh new faces in the middle but would wait another week before bringing him in.

      2. HOLD on Wingard but reckon Billings has reached his use by date. Would be trying to upgrade him to a value premo. Tex is only $40K more if cash is an issue.

      3. HOLD on Longer for now. If he gets the chop from the Saints then you can consider offloading but wouldn't do that whilst he is still getting games. Ruck cover is too valuable to give up lightly especially given how injury prone both Sandi and Mummy have been in the past.

  119. The Filth says:

    Team:
Back: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Hibberd, Langdon, Langford (Cutler, Bews)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, _____, Beams, Selwood, Liberatore, Watson, Cotchin (Acres, O'Rourke)
    Ruck: Sandilands, Jacobs (Derickx, Currie)
Fwd: Dangerfield, Gray, Parker, Martin, Breust, Zorko (Shenton, C Cameron)

The gap _____ – Kennedy or Rockliff?
I have the cash for either and will have 12 trades left after making this one.

Plan to upgrade Langdon and Langford soon. Hopefully upgrade Cotchin later to the remaining choice(Kennedy/Rockliff) if cash can be generated.

    • Guest says:

rockcliff has fremantle twice which means a hard tag from Crowley

      • Garglesnarf FC says:

He gets tagged every game, doesnt seem to affect him due to the way he gets points from tackles etc. Wouldnt worry about Crowley.

  120. scano says:

    hurn or mackie?

  121. scano says:

    Zorko the magnificent or Rieww?

    • MightyDonsFC says:

      Zorko

    • Swans2014 says:

Zorko has Bulldogs, Gws and Freo next three while Riewoldt has Port, and Geelong West Coast. On current form and upcoming games I'd go Zorko but Riedwoldt has a huge upside if he can turn his form around

  122. Swans2014 says:

    • scano says:

      mind answering the two above?

    • wes says:

      Hi
considering your sign on name, this is apt to ask
a few people here aren't fans of bringing in Bird.
I had choice of bird vs Jaensch… which would you want and why?
      noting possible biases there… :-)

      • Swans2014 says:

I too had a look at Bird. If you are bringing him in Midfield there are much better options for price (Deledio) and in a few weeks Johnson. It is important to note that his scoring changes from week to week on which position he plays. I think he will tag Ablett for some time this week. Last year he also had a good midseason where he averaged 105 over six games then went onto average 73 for the next 7 games after that. His inconsistent and not one for mine to rely on a 90 every week.

Jaensch has been a revelation this year. Scored 98+ 6/10 times this year. The other three scores being a 76, 56 and 38(injured at half time). At 417k I think he is a much better pick than Bird at 484k. It will be interesting to see how his scoring changes when Henderson Comes back

        Jaensch for mine

    • Mozz says:

what are YOUR tactics running into the second half of the season & into finals. Who are you looking to bring in/how many trades left/ how much $$ left

      • Swans2014 says:

I'm looking at having a full premium team by the end of the week. I will have 8 trades that I am hoping to use to get on in form players at the end of the year as well as jumping on good rookies.

  123. Sam says:

Thoughts on Tom Rockliff and Jimmy Bartel
Good time to trade them in??

  124. Tommykwr says:

Hi community, bit stuck on what to do this week
    Any thoughts please
Def: Mcveigh, swallow, hooker, Murphy, Langdon, laidler
    Option 1: laidler to malceski
    Robertson to o ' brien

    Option 2: Langdon to bartel
    Rough head to walker
    Any thoughts appreciated

    • Swans2014 says:

What do your other positions look like

      • Tommykwr says:

Mids: Ablett, selwood, beams, Liberatore, Sloane, swan, ward Cotchin ( acres, Robertson )
        Ruck: Mumford, sandilands (thurlow, king)
For: Martin, Dangerfield, Harvey, Parker, roughy, fasolo (Shenton, Cameron)

  125. Mark says:

    Malceski or Burgoyne

  126. Luke says:

This will be my team in two trade time as a final lineup

Defenders: Simpson, Bartel, Swallow, Burgoyne, Jeansch, Enright
Midfield: Ablett, Libba, Beams, Stevie J, Dal Santo, Goddard, Selwood, Cotchin
    Rucks: Naitinui, Sandilands
Forwards: Dangerfield, Zorko, Pavlich, Wingard, Martin, N. Riewoldt.
    What are the communities thoughts?
Any corrective trades I should make?

  127. scano says:

    Riewolt or Zorko?
    Hurn or Mackie?

  128. Michael T says:

Hey guys, just need a few advices on what to do next with my team

Defenders: D.Swallow, Bartel, Mcveigh, Hibbered, A.Walker, Langdon (Cameron, Georgiou)
Mid: Ablett, Pendles, Beams, J. Selwood, Watson, Rocky, M.Murphy, Hallahan, (Hartung, Acres)
    Rucks: Sandilands, Jacobs (Currie, Thurlow)
Forwards: Dangerfield, Grey, Martin, Roughead, Ambrose, Shenton ( S. Lloyd, Cameron)

I have 14 trades left and 163k in the kitty.. Currently sitting 8th in my main league and need to start winning to have any chance of winning in the top 4. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers guys.

    • Swans2014 says:

I'd go Hallahan > Zac O'brien and bench loohole the best score out of Zob and Hartung, then with the extra cash I'd go Lloyd if not named up to a premium

      • Wattsieesq says:

Hallahan still has cash to make and O'Brien is not yet on the bubble. I'd look at your forward line. Probably getting out Lloyd for a premium. Who you downgrade to do that, is up to you.

      • Azmataz says:

That is a great looking team Michael! So you only have 4 upgrades left if you include Langdon. Your forward line needs its attention first I think. You just need to back in Roughy – he might come good. Hallahan is up to $291k with a BE of 19 now, so you could wait until next week for him to go up a bit more, and see how Zac O'Brien goes before he is on the bubble. Then trade out Hallahan next week, swing Shenton into he midfield and bring in a Premo Forward like Parker, who is the most solid out of the lot. Then you can downgrade someone like Ambroseto O'brien if he looks the goods after his second game.

Another option if you want to trade this week is trade Langdon to Malceski. He is a machine and has been racking up the disposals and still a bargain at $514k.

        • Michael T says:

Thanks Azmataz. yeah I was thinking of keeping Hallahan for at least another week but the bad news is some of the hawks guns is coming back in this week or next week. Wanna max him out and then trade him out and swing Shenton to mid for a forward premo as you said. Yes, I'm looking at bringing in Parker soon love how he goes about his footy. With the swans in form atm I think its a good time to bring in any swans player really lol.

Post up your team, I wanna see how your team is doing compared to mines lol.
          Cheers,

          • Azmataz says:

Hey yeah that sounds like a good plan.
            My team is Def: Swallow,Bartel,Simpson,McVeigh,Hibberd,Langdon,Langford,Bews
            Mids:Abz,Pendles,Libba,Rocky,Jelwood,Murphy,Beams,Shenton,Acres,Taylor
            Rucks:Sandi,Jacobs,Dericks,Thurlow
            Fwd:Danger,Dusty,Pav,Zorko,Gray,Fasolo,Ambrose,Lloyd.

Have got 12 trades left and am ranked 576. Was thinking of going langdon to malceski and Taylor to O'Brien. Don't really like getting rookies after just one game though but really want Malceski. Haven't lost a league match yet so am unbeaten but I'm still a chance at the 50k so am going hard..

            Team is called Not Australian

      DEF – D.Swallow, M.Hibberd, M.Jaensch, T.Langdon, W.Langford, J.Bews (A.Georgiou, T.Clurey)
      MID – G.Ablett, S.Pendlebury, D.Beams, J.Selwood, T.Liberatore, D.Mundy, J.Polec, M.Thomas (L.Taylor, B.Acres)
      RUC – A.Sandilands, T.Derickx (M.Pyke, D.Currie)
      FWD – P.Dangerfield, L.Parker, D.Martin, L.Breust, M.Pavlich, C.Wingard (A.Fasolo, C.Cameron)

200k in the bank with 14 trades left was going to do these trades for this week
      A.Georgiou to G.Birchall
      L.Taylor to C.Shenton

      Thoughts?

      • Danners16 says:

I believe Shannon Hurn would be a better option than Grant Birchall as he has an average of 100+ if you take out the game he got injured. Otherwise sounds good

    • Brendan says:

Who do you think is the best midfielder under $510k?

      • Danners16 says:

Richard Douglas seems like a good option, only one score under 90, Ollie Wines is another good consistent player, Brett Deledio is a risk, Sam Gibson seems alright but a bit of a risk. You choose

    • Tommy says:

      Jaensch or Hanley

    • Danners16 says:

Alright guys that is all the time I have, it seems not many people want me to do this anymore so that will be the last one, thanks guys for your support. I may answer other peoples' questions normally. Thanks

    Thoughts on Craig Bird

  131. Scott says:

    Hi all… opinions please!

Had been planning/hoping to next week trade Polec + 111k kitty for Stevie J John Thomas… now it seems Polec's price will drop too much to do this.

Sooo… considering trading Polec for Tex which would open up MID-FWD swing and leave me 200k which should allow me to trade Kanye Mitchell for SJ in the coming weeks, hopefully when their prices are at their closest.

Will be cashing in Derickx (at R4) in next few weeks so could still do Polec->SJ if I bring that forward.
Pretty keen to get Steve Johnson in (anything I can do to curse Geelong!)

MID: Ablett, Pendles, Beams, J Selwood, M Murphy, Fyfe, Polec, K Mitchell (Salem, Hartung)
FWD: Danger, Martin, Zorko, Dahlhaus, Buddy, Fasolo (Shenton, Lloyd)

    Thanks for listening!

This is my team with 13 trades remaining

Defenders: Swallow, Hanley, Langdon, Burgoyne, Langford, Docherty
Midfield: Ablett, Libba, Beams, Pendles, Rockliff, Goddard, Jelwood, SMurph
    Rucks: McIntosh, Sandilands
Forwards: Dangerfield, Zorko, Pavlich, Higgins, Dusty, Boomer

I was thinking of trading Langford to Bartel & L.Taylor (who is on my bench) to O'Brien
I have 398k in the bank.

    Thoughts community?

    • Scott says:

Sounds like a good move to me… Langford scored nicely this week, but was a late in… job security maybe not as good under fill-in coach? Bartel excellent pick – good scorer and doesn't miss many games. Maybe wait a week on O'Brien, just to reduce any risk? Doubt Taylor will drop in price

  133. The Garbo says:

    need some feedback. Cheers

Def: Swallow, simpsons, mcveigh, hooker, jaensch, hanley (Mcdonald, Laidler)
Mid: Gaz, Pendles, Beams, Jelwood, Libba, Goddard, Macrae, Polec (m Crouch, Taylor)
    Ruc: Sandi, Goldy (Currie, Thurlow)
Fwd: Danger, Dusty, Zorko, Dahlhaus, LeCras, Shenton (Ambrose, Lloyd)

Broke with 11 trades Left (just traded fasolo to LeCras last night).
Planning on not making any trades for at least 2-3 weeks. And hopefully Polec will bounce back after a hard tag by cross.

    • Michael T says:

You need to pull the trigger on polec this week. BE of 152 and I doubt he will be able to score that high even playing the saints this week. Look to upgrade him would be the way to go. How much money have you got left in the bank?

      • The Garbo says:

        Polec has a 124BE. (SC).
Its either Polec to Treloar or Fasolo to LeCras.
Original plan was to wait out Polec's cash loss and ride him till closer to the end of season and then upgrade him and prob MaCrae to a fallen premo thats to my liking
