gambino supercoach punting clubYo punters! Almost time to breathe a deep sigh of relief as we head into the last round of the byes.

Thank god those bloody things are almost over. Into Round 13 rolls the punt club; and contrary to what some of youse have to say about the number 13… I’m feeling pretty lucky this week.

Individual Player Dream Team Scores:

Sam Mitchell Over ($1.85)/Under ($1.85) 101.5 DT points
I backed against Sammy Mitchell last week and I’m not so keen to do that again. Mitchell is a proven fantasy footy legend and I reckon he’s got enough in the tank to get over the 101.5 point mark. The Eagles are struggling at the moment and I’m hoping for Mitchell to feast on them. And how about this man? Mitchell’s 6 out of last 7 games against the Eagles have resulted in him scoring above 101.5 DT points. Scores of 109, 98, 122, 129, 147, 140, 106 in his last 7 tell the story. He clearly loves playing the Eagles and I’m backing him to get the job done here. Overs!

Kieran Jack Over ($1.85)/Under ($1.85) 106.5 DT points
How good’s Kieran Jack been this year man?! His old man was an NRL superstar but young Kieran thankfully realised the grass is greener on the other side and has turned into one of the premium fantasy players in the AFL. After his monster 130 DT points against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium last week, Jack clearly doesn’t have a problem playing at AAMI Stadium. To be honest I’m not convinced Port Adelaide will offer more of a challenge to Sydney than Adelaide did in Round 11. On the overs here dudes.

Dream Team Head to Head Markets:

Jack Steven ($1.72) vs. David Armitage ($2.05)
Poor old Jock’s Saints have struggled this year but Jack Steven has been a shining light for them this year. He’s definitely lifted his output from last year and has got his DT average up to 93 points. Armitage himself hasn’t been too bad but his average has been severely bloated by a couple of big hundreds against GWS and Gold Coast. Called outliers or something like that aren’t they Higgo? Anyways, I’m backing Steven to get the job done here community. Jump on!

Daniel Hannebery ($1.88) vs Jarrad McVeigh ($1.88)
Bloody Hanners caught fire last week against the Crows. Just a casual 42 possessions for the man on his way to 136 DT points. One criticism against Hannebery is his ability to score well against the good sides. He bombed out this year against Hawthorn and Essendon with scores of 64 and 66 DT points respectively. However I certainly wouldn’t class Port Adelaide in the same bracket as Hawthorn and Essendon. McVeigh has been OK this year, but I just don’t think he’s got the ability to pump out the massive DT scores like Hannebery does. Last time Port Adelaide and Sydney met in 2012, McVeigh could only manage 72 points while Hannebery went wooshka with 104. Jump on Hannebery community!

GROUP DREAM TEAM SPECIALS

Always very hard to get these group things right, but I can see a bit of value for Brandon Ellis here. Although he’s had a bit of interrupted season, the man pronounced as “Blanden Ellis” by my good friend Crouching One has been brilliant when he’s played all four quarters this year. His last three DT scores read 128, 155 and 112. Look I certainly wouldn’t be throwing the kitchen sink behind him but I’m not sure any of the other dudes in that group have enough scoring ability to challenge. Worth a sneaky wager on Ellis here community!

That’s all for this week community. Let us know where your coin is going this week by tweeting us @Vince_Gambino or simply posting a comment in the box below. Best of luck to youse all and always remember the community loves you man.

Happy Punting!
