gambino supercoach punting clubLadies and gentleman, it’s that time of the week again! It’s time to place our faith in some of our favorite fantasy footballers in order to win big, win small or simply put dinner on the table for the family. Roll up to the Vince Gambino Punt Club!

If you jump over to our great friends at sportsbet.com.au, along with the usual head-to-head battles you’ll see they’re also offering some markets on individual player’s over/under scores – found some great value in these ones dudes! I’m having a look at Dream Team this week. click here for all the markets

If you don’t have an account with the dudes at Sportsbet click here and they will match your first bet up to $150. That’s mad man.

Sam Mitchell (vs. North Melbourne) Over ($1.85)/Under ($1.85) 106.5 points

Absolutely STAGGERED to see that youse can get $1.85 for Mitchell to score more than 106.5 DT points against North Melbourne. $1.85 is great value in my mind…jump on! If we look through Mitchell’s previous scores against North Melbourne we can see that he LOVES feasting on some Kangaroo meat. Four out of Mitchell’s past five games against the Roos have resulted in him comfortably eclipsing the 106 point mark – including a whopping 141 points in one game. It just seems to me that whoever tags Mitchell simply can’t keep up with him and he eventually breaks the shackles. Get around the overs dudes!

Jimmy Bartel ($1.88) vs Daniel Cross ($1.88)

Despite a massive let down last week I’m expecting Jimmy Bartel to bounce back this week and comfortably beat Daniel Cross here. Cross’ fantasy scores have been OK this week but he’s yet to crack the ton in DT this year and I’m expecting that drought to continue against an in-form Geelong side. These Doggies man have been chasing Bartel’s tail around in the past. Jimmy’s got over 100 DT points in each of his past five games against the Dogs. That’s some record! It’s also interesting to see that the last time Cross and Bartel met was in Round 9 of 2012…Cross actually went head-to-head against Bartel with Crossy playing more of a tagging/defensive role. As a result Cross finished with 67 points and Jimmy got up to 100 points. Considering it was a decent enough performance form Cross I reckon he might tag Bartel again which will see Jimmy get more points than Cross for sure. All over Bartel here dudes.

Brad Ebert ($1.88) vs Kane Cornes ($1.88)

Has anyone been keeping an eye on Kane Cornes’ fantasy scores recently? 119, 116, 128 and 156 DT points. Woah man!! I seriously reckon he’s a revitalised dude under Ken Hinkley – his game style has completely freed and is starting to win a lot more of the footy. I’ll be licking up the $1.88 on offer for Cornesy here. I seriously reckon he’s a changed player this year and may prove to be a cheeky upgrade option for fantasy coaches later in the season. Ebert himself hasn’t disgraced himself this season though. He beat down on Melbourne and GWS before finding the going a lot tougher against Adelaide and Gold Coast. West Coast are no easy-beats and I reckon his form slump will continue. Cornes on the other hand is a proven competitor against every side in the AFL – he also pumped out 135 DT points against the Eagles when they last met. Place those hard earned dollars on Kane Cornes here fellas.

Callan Ward ($1.75) vs. Toby Greene ($2.00)

Thinking Callan Ward in an absolute CANTER here everyone. Poor old Toby Greene appears to be suffering from a serious case of second year blues – god that stuff has ruined some of fantasy team’s in the past man! His numbers this year simply don’t stack up with those last year. In 2012 he was brilliant, averaging 96 DT points and outshining many of his senior team mates – including Callan Ward. 2013’s been a different year for Toby though; all his stats are down and he’s only been able to average 67 DT points. Ward’s spent a lot more time in the system than Greene and his solid form from 2012 has continued through to this year, he’s been able to maintain that average of just under 100 DT points. I love that boy Toby Greene but I reckon he might be in for a tough year this season. Back Ward in this one.

Over to you folks! Got anyone you like this week? Send us a tweet @Vince_Gambino on Twitter or simply post a comment below. Happy punting!

Hi everyone, in need of help!
I thought that Fasolo would break out this year along with Jamie Elliot and Jarryd Blair, but chose Fasolo out of the three of them. He's done horribly and I'm not sure whether to cut my losses and trade hike out or to hold on. What do you all think?
